don't really have a favourite artwork (though I am kinda proud of the amout of comic work I did way back when) but favourite AU? definitely Monarchy Restoration. forever my favourite with the combination of renaissance fashion, fairytale-like aesthetics and the sheer fucked-up-ness of the c!DTeam's relationships

14.Most fun and/or engaging character voice to write in? I think thats a tie between Techno and Dream!! They’re both so smart, fun and unique, and i honestly adore whenever either of them happens to interact with each other in fics.

17.Favorite dynamic to write? (ship, familial bond, friendship, qpr, rivalry, etc) hmmmmmm i'm a filthy dnfer so #1 goes to them, but dteam and rivals share the podium for sure. Anything that involves dream tbh is fun to write abt ♡

7. Which character do you think is the most similar to c!Dream?

Now that is a tough question. Similar in goals? Similar in personality? Similar in character progression/fall from grace? Similar in terms of narrative parallels?? I'm going to assume you mean personality-wise just for the sake of my own sanity.

I'm... gonna tentatively say c!Punz? I mean, I think there was a reason he was the person c!Dream trusted more than any other. c!Punz shares not only c!Dream's vision for a united, peaceful server, but also his ruthlessness, his reserved nature and extreme caginess (mans lied to his CHAT mid-stream), his deep sense of fairness, his desire to understand and protect, his loyalty and willingness to sacrifice for the things and people he believes in. There's the obvious like being willing to die repeatedly at his friend's hands to test the revive book's capabilities, but c!Punz also sacrificed his reputation and his ability to act on the story in any meaningful way until c!Dream got out of prison. So yeah, I'll say c!Punz.

Anything by @kuraiarcoiris is p much guaranteed to be fantastic (and it’s basically all c!Dream-centric), but special mention has to go to their magnum opus “A Home From Which to Watch the World Burn.”

“Discover the Sky” by Rachel_Lo. Fantastic worldbuilding and great portrayal of the characters, both canon and original.

“in the wild all lessons last” by @lookinghalfacorpse. Dream starting the slow road to recovery with the last couple of people on this godforsaken server who still give a shit about him and his well-being. Delicious hurt/comfort for the soul, especially love the way c!Phil is written in this.

“Strays” by Coal_And_Bones. Super interesting canon divergence where admin!Dream - who can fragment himself into smaller, less powerful entities - creates a ghost out of desperation to try to convince Techno to break him out of the prison sooner.

Special shout-out to "No Rest for the Wicked" by A_Ghoul, which has sadly been deleted off the internet, and I'm sad every day about it. 😭

12. Are there any tropes you used to dislike but have grown on you?

Hmmm, I think ABO was one that I originally got squicked by, but now I think it's funny. I think it's made 10x funnier by guys in like the hyper masculinity culture using the whole "alpha male" thing. Like it's so funny to hear that term and have my first thought be the porn trope.

👻 What is one WIP you think you may never pick back up?

Oh I have so many...

To be fair, most of my AUs/fics that I'll never pick up again were more of half-baked ideas than proper WIPs. I do have a couple proper WIPs that will probably never be finished, though.

I have this one WIP which was just gonna be a short collection of fics set in a larger au. It was c!dreambur-centric (to no one's surprise), and the basic premise of the fic was that it was a winged au.

in the au/fic, c!wilbur lost his wings pre-canon, and c!dream is an admin who hides his wings. code is more easily manipulated in limbo, so when c!dream is reviving c!wilbur, he transfers the lines of code that make up his wings to c!wilbur. the biggest reason he does this is because he knows it's just a manner of time before c!quackity learns about his wings, and if he has to lose them, he'd rather lose them on his terms. (and, well, by giving the wings to c!wilbur, it's easier to pretend that he gave them up for some bigger reason. a way to have c!wilbur indebted to him is how he'd probably justify it in his mind)

however, the code kinda gets messed up, so the wings don't really like being super far from c!dream. it ends up being this sort of forced proximity between c!dream and c!wilbur because they both experience unpleasant physical symptoms if the wings are too far from c!dream. this leads to c!dream being broken out of prison early, and a whole lot of other changes.

it was a nice if not super developed idea, but I just don't think I'll ever get back to it. I'm more focused on other fics and aus right now, and the actual plot for this wip just isn't developed enough for it to have a super tight hold on my interest.
