Next to The @walledoffhotel there's a small shop called Wall Mart where you may design your stencil and get creative by projecting your thoughts on the wall that separates Israel from Palestine. Because of time I couldn't design my own, but I promised myself that I would come back to take part. Although, now that I think about it, I hope that when I do come back there's no more wall to intervene. Today I achieved another goal on my “To Do” list: to paint on the division wall between Palestine and Israel! I always thought it would be a dangerous situation, but it was actually quite easy, nobody minded. I hope the meaning and intentions of my painting is clear. I am against no nation, I am pro every human being and want them Peace and Love!! Unfortunately governments and politricks get in the way of that. The whole day visiting Bethlehem was great actually. To our surprise, the mayor of this historic city had heard of our humanitarian project and wanted to meet us for a quick exchange of vibes. We then got a tour of the “Nativity Church” and checked the place where Jesus was born. A tour of a local refugee camp called “Aida” followed, so we listened to their stories. We then continued to the @walledoffhotel which was done in collaboration with @banksy . We got a tour of the place by the Palestinian owner @wisam_salsaa who explained us his good intentions with this project, showed us the Banksy decorated rooms, art gallery and museum (explaining the occupation). After that is when I walked up to the infamous wall to add my vibe to it.
