chuck and walter are the unsung heroes of the sgc and atlantis. they know the ins and outs of absolutely everything, they know what's going on everywhere all of the time. they're the unofficial eyes and ears of each base and they would 100% use that info to get their schedules to work out so they could go on cute little dates (they would complain about sg1 and ar1 being So Like That but they would also threaten anyone who says anything bad about them)

In honor of Stargate Day, here are some of my favorite SG1 secondary characters:

Sly Siler, keeper of the big wrenches and always has shit happen to him.

Walter(Norman Walter Davis Harriman). Holds the rights to "Chevron Seven Locked"™

Bra'tac. Person I would most want to go into battle with. Crosser of bridges unguarded.

Catherine Langford. Basically the reason we have a working Stargate. Carried the whole project on her back while kicking generals who got in her way.

Ba'al. Could be such a dick but boy did we love to hate him. Suave, charming, hot. All the things you want in a god. RIP Cliff Simon and thank you.

THE QUEEN!!! Janet technically is secondary but she's first in my heart and a major character in my mind. Tough, loving, taking no BS from a certain Colonel, Janet made such an impact for being in 75/213 episodes. My favorite character overall.
