I got the OK to finally start posting the art I made for The Wandersong Fanzine!! I worked on a pack of digital download wallpapers, one for each Act for the game. I decided I would make the theme "GIRL'S NIIIIIGHT <3" and had a lot of fun incorporating an important lady from each act into a chance to study the game's scenery and make it my own.

ACT 1: The Mayor! I like how no nonsense and respectable she is, she makes for a great part of our intro into the game's rich world

Day TWO of sharing my set of 7 wallpapers I illustrated for The Wandersong Zine!!

ACT 2: Viola! I love her elegant style, her viola and dress were especially fun to draw! She feels almost perfectly suited for the cave's color scheme too, which I'm sure wasn't fully a coincidence :)

Day 6 of the WANDERSONG ZINE WALLPAPERS I made for the project !!!!!!

ACT 6: Audrey! Now with this and Act 7 I did a little cheat because you see Audrey in most acts of the game -- but this one felt very signifigant for her and gave me room to focus on side characters up to this point. I love the fight over the lava, it's so dire.

ACT 5: Hala! Hala is one of my favorite side characters because I think her story is so tragic and compelling. I love love love how she is just possessing Kiwi's body, those singing segments where they sing with her voice really get to me.

DAY FOUR!!!! of my Wandersong Zine Wallpapers!

ACT 4: Elara! Act 4 is definitely one of my favorite parts of the game, the way it flipped the narrative upside down and had Kiwi get sent back to wallow in their childhood home with this heavy weight of failure, it was very palpable. Elara is an interestingly cold presence in the already cold town, I like how logic driven she is about how to go about destroying the factory.

ACT 3: Penny! Some say she's still counting out Kiwi's coffee bean order to this day........ By now you can see the pattern for the backgrounds is that I wanted them all to be the Nexus Points where you enter the spirit world :) they all feel very signifigant and they're lovely to look at
