Sky can not remember faces. He has met Wild multiple times. It’s a struggle every time regardless.

Twilight has an old pick-up that's lovingly called 'shit box' (it's running on hopes and dreams).

Ilia has a cream/white sedan that Twilight calls 'dust bucket' (Ordon is very gravely).

Legend love/hates autumn. He'll say that he hates it, but he really enjoys apple harvest time.

Wind will drag Wars to family parties (Wars doesn't think he should go, Aryll and Grandma insist he come as well).

Linkle has broken into Wild's house multiple times (he still doesn't know how she got a key).

Wars buys Proxi little cat sweaters.

Legend visits Styla in Hytopia on a semi-regular basis (they gossip together, and he helps get her out of her duties for a day).

Four is really good at fighting games. Everyone has tried to beat him at one point and failed, Rune is the only one that can give him a run for his money.

Fable is a very big horror game fan. She has had many victims to her ramblings/rants.

Series Summary:

An AU where Twilight loses his Twilight Shard and meets the Chain stuck as Wolfie with no way to transform back.

It will consist of a lot of oneshots/multichap fics of the Chain traveling around with Wolfie, having no clue that he’s really just a guy who’s stuck as a wolf. Will include an unhealthy amount of found family bonding and Time being the Chain’s collective dad (or dog dad, in Twilight’s unfortunate case).

Starting with Legend (top left): The prince ofc. He's 17 in this au, and it's ok to ship him with Marin and Fable. The getup he has on in this drawing, he never wears when he sneaks out but when mostly when he's in the castle. He dyed half his hair. It was supposed to be red but it came out pink instead. He ended up secretly liking the pink though. Although not coloured atm, his outfit is red with the exception of his pants and belt. The little details on the sleeve are gold, his belt is brown. His pants are a creamy brown.

Aryll, his sister, lives there as well.

The uniform was inspired by botw's Hylian knight armour. He's Legend's personal knight, promoted after helping greatly in the war. Armed most of the time.

Siren

Siren is WW, ST + PH link! they are 14. they're still a pirate, but they make more time to visit Aryll and their grandma back on Outset. They are banned from using the windwaker unless absolutely necessary because they're a complete riot of a child. They have a pet pig who is appropriately named Chunk. Aryll made them a bracelet which they wear 24/7! they're small, so they find squeezing into small areas much easier than most others. Has a peg leg

Prince

Prince is ALTTP, ALBW, OOS, OOA, LA + TFH link! he is 16 and is the twin of Queen, his zelda. he and his sister are working royals, so while he is a prince he is also a blacksmith! there is a permanent portal between Hyrule and Lorule in the castle garden, and Ravio still leeches off of lives with him! he's autistic and semi-verbal. he uses crutches to get around. Prince also splits into King, Duke, and Princess, but it only works in Hytopia. They're trying to sort out a way to do it without the wizard

Light

Light is FSA, FS + MC link. he is 17! He splits into Vio, Red, Green and Blue at will. For a good part of his time with the other links, he does not have a shadow, since Shadow died. He's kind of a roulette wheel in terms of how he acts, what he knows and what he can do; but it's easy to adapt to whatever his “mood” is any given day. He and his Zelda are very close, to the point they think of each other as siblings. Light has a minish feather on a necklace along with four charms that represent the colours. He lies a lot, and sometimes he doesn't even realize he's lying. Threatens people to get his way sometimes. Autistic + has ADHD. Blue has OCD and Vio has severe anxiety

Moon

Moon is TP link! his wolf form is much bigger than an average wolf, so it's obviously the result of magic. He's 27 and married to Shad. He mainly looks after the kids in Ordon, but still cares after the goats when he can. He has basically no relationship with his Zelda outside of being civil. He still has a bit of heartache relating to Midna but he's getting better. Basically everyone's parent

Courage

Courage is SS link! He's 28, and married to Wisdom, his Zelda. After killing Demise he gained some of his powers, but he really doesn't like to use them. He has a small fear of storms after what happened to Wisdom and he never really forgave himself for what happened to her. He still has her harp and he's extremely cautious about time since he really doesn't want to be late ever again. His loftwing is called Crime.

Sprout

Sprout is OOT + MM link. he's still got all the masks he got during mm, but his favorite is the deku mask. He's 30! He's in a platonic marriage with Malon, and they live on a farm together. He has a necklace with a blue fairy charm because he still misses Navi :( he likes just sitting in the woods and staring off into space just...doing nothing. it's a bit creepy. Likes to steal. Might be a kleptomaniac, he isn't sure. He has a lot of facial scars due to the overuse of the masks he'd obtained.

Warriors

Warriors is HW link. he's Linkles twin brother! He's 31, and dating Sheik <3 (his Zelda is a trans king tyvm). he basically adopted Sprout during the war and he basically became a single father at that point in life. He has to use a cane to walk and he has a fair amount of burn scars. He's retired but still gives his advice to training soldiers. living his best life. Proxi speaks for him as he is completely mute. he struggles to tell the difference between left and right and uses his hands to remind himself

o7 sure thing boss! I should mention. Pinky made a PowerPoint for this AU awhile back. I just transferred the info and edit it some.

General info:

This is a magical girl au, roughly based on Shugo Chara and Miraculous Ladybug that me and @luimagines made like… last October or something? Basically a modern au where the boys are Magical girl based heroes. Each boy has a small chibi that is themed around the person they want to be, and through them the boys are able to transform. There is a fanfic in the works but its a slow process.

Time:

- Old retired hero that is the leader of this new group of Hero’s. Isn’t on the field anymore, as the reason why is one of his darkest secrets.

- Twilight’s uncle who works in Lon Lon Ranch. Their headquarters are at the ranch as well.

- Time knows everyone out of costume and weirdly enough has met every person before knowing they were able to be heroes.

- He stays behind most of the time with Linkle as the people in the chair looking out for the boys from afar.

- Time was the hero that saved Wild from the car reck that killed the champions. This was also his last day of being a hero.

- Sealed away Ganon and stopped Demise for a while before the new villains appeared. His guardian sacrificed herself to save the day. The price to pay was the scar over his eye.

Twilight (Wolfsbane):

- Has 3 jobs, Barista at Cafe Courage, Teacher Assistant, Hero. He is in college to be a Vet Tech, Very overworked.

- He wears a leather jacket that he got from Time, its apparently a good luck charm?

- His Guardian is called Wolfie and Twilight think’s he is a menace. Twilight internally wants to be free. Free from responsibilities, free from work, free from everything.

- Short things on Wolfie: He’s mischievous, a personified puppy, causes trouble, wonders if you can eat boundaries, very impulsive.

- Twilight is roommates with Wild, they met in highschool but weren’t that close until after the crash.

- As Wolfsbane, he broke down the door to the cafe as it was a safe place for him to hide out. Forgetting that he is super strong.

His Powers:

- Lots of Wolf-Like qualities

- Super Hearing

- Super Smell

- Can jump Higher

- Has a Large Wolf Form as well

- Fights like a wild animal

- Literally Tooth and Nail/Claw

Warriors (Captain):

- He’s a model, he isn’t in school but is very busy with all the work the company wants him to do.

- Shares second in command with Twilight if we were to consider Time as their leader. He was brought in by Time first into this group.

- Has a twin named Linkle, a little brother Wind and little sister Aryll.

- He is smart and headstrong but very head empty. He has a big heart and watches over everyone as if they were family.

- His guardian is named Proxi, she’s bubbly and loud and has trouble concentrating, very caring, a good listener, the definition of mom friend, takes care of the other guardians with Mari.

His Power:

- Shapeshifter

- Basically a copycat, can even mimic attacks of the opponent

- Almost like becoming a mirror version of them

- Glamour: Can change his looks to deceive the enemy or to camouflage into his environment

- Future vision in short bursts. Takes a hot minute to summon this ability. This is great for directing the team during monster attacks

Linkle:

- She does not fight on the field. Had to strong arm Time to even be a part of it.

- Stays back at the ranch to monitor, the fights, the organization, the progress, the technique, the team.

- The “Guy in the Chair” essentially. She helps them by pointing out blind spots and by watching the fights to communicate with them real time.

- It’s her way of being a hero- by protecting her siblings and their friends

Sky (Phoenix):

- In college to be a lawyer, does most of his patrol.

- Grew up around Time and Malon (his mother was Malon’s friend). He was the third member of the group.

- A wood carver, is commissioned by heroes for an temporary army. Ends up taking a lot of naps because of his lack of sleep.

- Sky’s head is up in the clouds a lot of the time, this is taken literally when he is flying around just for fun.

- Guardian’s name is Leo, he is one of the more responsible and respected of the Guardians. Quiet Type. Princely. Loyal to a fault. Adheres to Rules. Attempts to keep Sky on a healthy Schedule… success varies

His Power:

- His cape can shift into wings giving him the power of flight

- Super Sight

- Super Hearing

- Sonic Screech

- He is more of a Scout keeping Civilians out of the way.

- Can’t a lot of damage but it incredibly agile and fast

- Finds Ghirahim faster than anyone else because he spends a lot of time in the air

- Is tasked with finding the victim of the day more often than not and must find how to free them.

Wild (Champion):

- Was in an accident that left him horrible scars on half of his body and amnesia. He was the only survivor.

- Was saved by Time as he ran for his own life and was brought to the hospital for treatment

- Is studying to be a doctor while also majoring a culinary degree. But he’s only just started his college experience.

- A bit of a thrill seeker to the frustrations of others.

- His guardian is named Cal, He is a knight in shining armour. Very quiet. A man of few words. He’s a lot like how Wild was before the accident

His Powers:

- The sharp shooter/sniper. Long distance attacks. Uses a bow.

- Excellent aim/never misses. Different arrows for different purposes. Can shoot multiple arrows at the same time and in quick succession

- Also has an affinity for fire and explosives

- Stealth is his middle name

- Can travel large distances by shadow

Legend (da Vinci):

- Was online friends with Hyrule for years, found him on the road and took him in. His in college for business. Hates it.

- He is only doing it for Ravio so they can be business partners. Goes to Chain Bakery more than Cafe Courage.

- Hates pants

- In a long distance relationship with a small town singer named Marin.

- Lupine is Legend’s Guardain, She is headstrong, Sweet and caring. Protective of Mari. Very Independent. Does not get along with Wolfie. Does not take the lead she will step up to the plate if needed to.

His Power:

- Lots of Rabbit based qualities:

- Super hearing. Can run the fastest. Can jump the highest. Powerful kicks. Sharp bite

- Is typically more live bait, much to his chargain

- Can dig no matter the terrain

- Can create multiple fake copies of himself, they are merely copies however. Easily summoned and destroyed. They deal low damage and each copy is proficient in a different weapon but it’s at random

Hyrule (Puppetier):

- An orphan. He ran away from Foster Care and has been traveling by backpacking around the country.

- Came to city and met up with his online friend, Legend, who promptly took him in. He is finishing his schooling online as well to get his GED.

- He didn’t want to be a hero but couldn’t stand by and do nothing.

- Mari is his guardian. Doesn’t speak, only chitters. Can’t see their face from under the hood, it just looks like a void. Very shy and doesn’t like new people. Attached by the hip with Lupine

His Power:

- A healer

- He takes care of the little guardians when the others are de-transformed. Can heal them while on the field as well.

- Can also take inanimate objects and temporarily use them in battle. Does this often with Sky’s carvings.Works mostly in the shadows with Wild and is hard to see. Not typically up front and center in battle.

- Can fly thanks to his wings.

Wind (Sailor):

- Is the youngest of the heroes he is in high school, sophomore year.

- A rambunctious kid he wants to be helpful. Really wants to impress Time and respects him greatly

- Wants to be a sailor or a train conductor when he gets older and all the hero business is done, he hasn’t decided yet.

- Isn’t out on the field often and is typically in school during the attacks. He hates it but the other are grateful

- Makar is his guardian. Loves to play music. A bit loud and snarky but his heart is in the right place. Is the most in tune (HA) with his handler, meaning they are the most alike.

His powers:

- Wind can manipulate the air, he can fly, he can be loud and hit frequencies to shatter solid material.

- Also has better hearing, but he has to focus on that one.

- He has rhythm based attacks.The more he hits on a beat, the more damage he can do. He trains playing rhythm based video games… like DDR or Rhythm Heaven for example.

- Easily one of the strongest heroes on the field but isn’t on often because he’s gotten so good at getting combos

Four (Avatar):

- Is an upcoming actor. Was convinced by his guardian, Shadow, to audition to play himself in a Netflix adaptation of the heroes. He got the part.

- He is the most chill and confident in his abilities.

- Goes to the Children’s Hospital in his free time as his hero persona the children love him.

- One of the more public heroes, deals with the media and interviews.

- Shadow, his guardian is: Very mischievous. Loves to play pranks. Loves to push boundaries and see what he can get away with.

His Power:

- Can multiply himself, each copy has different abilities. Red has an affinity to fire and explosives. Blue has an affinity to ice and water. Green has an affinity to plants. Vio has an affinity to dirt, concrete and rocks.

- Does not have to have all copies out at once. Each copy has their own uniform and the feathers on his outfit leave with each copy that is sent out.

- Typically sends out Blue or Red depending on the monster of the day. Can and has sent all four at once to deal with the major disasters

Pinky (The Author):

- Is in college to be a graphic designer

- Wild’s older sister and Enno’s roommate.Very protective of her younger brother. Remembers the past him fondly, and wants to support him

- Pining after Twilight and Wolfsbane. Gets her egg sometime after Twilight ends up in the hospital. It doesn’t hatch until after things are cleared between her and Twilight

- Her guardian is Adaela. Very bubbly and bright. A little less aware of personal space. Not typically self conscious. Is in love with Wolfie.

Her Power:

- Has a magical pen. Whatever is written with it comes to life. Like ScribbleNauts.

- It exists for as many minutes as there are letters in the word

- Is a more defensive hero than an attacker. Keeps to side lines helping civilians out of the way.

- No other physical attributes added on other than higher defense provided by the magical hero suit.

Enno (Saffron):

- Owner of Cafe Courage. Pinky’s Roommate and Twilight’s childhood friend

- They had a guardian egg since childhood. It didn’t hatch until after the cafe was destroyed.

- They was content with where their life was and felt no need to leave their comfort zone. Until they met the sleep deprived college student Sky. Threatens to remove Phoenix's bell privileges all the time.

- Easily flustered with a good heart but loves to pick on Twilight and Pinky and their blooming romance.

- Their guardian is named Robbyn. She is a kind hearted individual. Could not care about consequences. Robbyn does what she wants, when she wants to. Is in love with Leo

Their Power:

- Not a hero on the field, but has taken a seat in the chair under Time’s guidance and assists Linkle.

- Can enchant weapons/powers with food. The potions and food they give to their allies will give them advantages based on their own magical abilities

- In short, they create the power upgrades and power hybrids to defeat the larger threats

- Will stay behind mostly since they can’t really fight. But They have a frying pan hidden in their bag. Can and will smack someone with it.

Some redesigns for my LoZ headcanon/AU! :3 I was originally gonna do just Link and Zelda for this post but I figured it’s been a loooong time since I last actually did anything with Linkle and Aryll, so they got a redesign treatment too. owo Now then! Here’s some headcanon on Hylians as a whole and the characters here representing them! uwu

-Princess Zelda is the royal princess of Hyrule, daughter of King Satori Donovan Hyrule and Queen Anju. Zelda is hailed as the reincarnation of Hylia and, as such, is destined for many great feats: unlocking her inner power of a Goddess, future queen of Hyrule, protector of the Triforce... or so she’s told. Zelda, for all her talents, feels as if she wasn’t meant for the destiny laid out in front of her... or worse, she believes she’s a fluke in the long line of her several lifetimes. She isn’t exactly nervous or shy, and she does hold some confidence in herself, but those long ears are more than just for show: she knows what her kingdom thinks of her. 

Due to her inability to access her divine magic and her mother’s checkered past before marrying the king, Zelda is unfortunately the target of unsavory gossip, and it’s something that lurks constantly in the back of her head.

-Link is a humble farmboy who lives with his family in an equally humble Ordon Village. Outside of odd jobs he takes to help out around his village, Link spends most of his time at Lon Lon Ranch, helping Malon and her father with farm work; his favorite is absolutely tending to the horses. When he isn’t on the farm working he’s often training alongside his parent Rune, who is a royal guard stationed in Ordon Village for protection. Link is selectively mute but carries a lot of character, visibly expressive and using his gestures to get his point across (alongside sign language). He’s friendly, reliable, and a bit of a goof, and is the childhood friend of the princess Zelda.

For all of his content with his current life, Link has had strange bouts of dreams and nightmares, flashes of what he swears is images of the past and... something else. He doesn’t know what to make of them.

-Linkle (real name “Kenil”) is Link’s sister and, as she likes to say, “the cooler twin”. She doesn’t actually think herself as cooler than her twin brother though, and in fact a bit of a klutz; she’s tripped and fallen on more than one occasion and can be a bit oblivious... “dumn jock” might fit her. However, that only really shows itself whenever she’s not out and about in the wilds; the moment Linkle enters combat, or is out in the forest, her clumsiness suddenly vanishes; perhaps she feels more comfortable amongst the trees? Linkle’s main occupation in the village is a hunter, and she’s the best shot in the entire village, rivaled only by her mother Oroh and Link himself.

-Aryll is Link and Linkle’s younger sister and the youngest of the Hero family, but that certainly doesn’t stop her from being the most adventurous!  Aryll has boundless energy and endless thirst for adventure; very rarely will she hesitate when something new presents itself to her. She’s quite brave for her age but her search for excitement can (and has) ended up with her getting into trouble: bandaids aren’t a new concept for her. Her zealous spirit can often lead to impatience, but she enjoys helping others a lot: if she isn’t running around chasing the heels of adventure, she’s running around helping the people in her village however she can (usually with their chores). Just like the noble knights in her mother’s stories... just like her Baba! (”baba” is what the siblings call their parent Rune)

-As a race, Hylians are the most common in Hyrule and are spread out all across the kingdom, though they’re the main inhabitants of the capitol.

-While all the races have an affinity to magic (since magic is innate in any living thing), Hylians typically have the strongest magic and the best grasp on it. As such, it’s an integral part of their culture, often opting to use it instead of the advanced technology the Sheikah have developed (with a few exceptions they can’t live without). Most soldiers and warriors in Hyrule rely on swordplay and magi in combat.

-The Hylians are the only race in Hyrule to technically not have a Patron Deity. This is because the Sage of Hyrule, the goddess Hylia herself, doubles as their patron deity as well. Given she is Hylia in a mortal form, Zelda harbors this divine magic, including the ability the transform into a mighty dragon, but she is unable to harness it as of now.

-The Hylians have a relatively good relationship with the other races of the kingdom, though they are by far the most conservative, second only to the Rito. It’s this attitude that lends to the gossip and disapproval of King Satori’s choice in queen (who was a commoner with an “unsavory” occupation at the time), and their perception of Zelda, specifically amongst the wealthy and residents closer to the capitol.

I have no more spoons and impostor syndrome is being a bitch again so I'm just gonna ramble about my Linked Universe AU's

So, Blood of the Covenant is an au where Time and Malon adopt Wild and Flora after the chain wind up in Wild's hyrule while they're still a kid. I actually have an ongoing fic by the same name set in that universe (it's nearing it's close now, only one or two more chapters) and I plan to do more in the future. but I don't want to talk to much about that, because spoilers sweetie.

What I actually want to talk about is the Bad AU, an au of blood of the covenant, which makes it an au of an au of an au. In the Bad Au the calamity senses Dinks portal shenanigans, realizes the danger of 9 Links and um... let's just say that keeping Majora in the castle was a terrible idea for now.

See, the plan was that each Divine beast would have a Link and Zelda onboard with their pilot, in case something went wrong. This didn't save them. the Calamity attacked each divine beast with an enemy from it's link/zelda duos past, empowered by malice. Only one of the twelve people onboard the divine beasts managed to survive: Time, with the power of the fierce diety felled the empowered majora, but was too slow to save Lullaby or Mipha. He upon seeing his siblings broken corpse he went on a rampage, nearly reaching the castle where he would have destroyed the calamity was it not for a blow to the back from Master Kohga. The combined forces of those combating Ganon quickly fell, with Wild falling in Blatchery Plain attempting to protect her sister. Wilds fall is considered the end of what would come to be called the first assault.

After Wild is safely secured in the shrine of resurection, the survivors who where involved with the battle are:

Now, it's important too note that most of the chain at this point have families, from Wars being the godfather to Linkles kid to Reds son who no one knows where he came from and the more you know about him the less sense it makes. So, Legend begins to prepare the second assault on Ganon. Groose is sent to return the Master Sword to his, Sky's, and Suns era to prevent a paradox, Linkle is sent to collect reinforcements from across the eras, Ravio and Marin are sent to collect the lorulien master sword, and Shadow is sent to deliver the news to Malon and everyone's collected families at the ranch. They where told, promised by Legend that the second assault would not begin until they returned.

Legend lied. He knew it was a suicide mission. He sent them away because he knew they where the only ones who would go, and because he wanted to spare them. If he had had it his way he would have gone alone, with only his sister at his side to seal the beast until his brother-sister could return and finish the job, ending his journey the way it began. But he did not have his way, and the second assualt was a massacre. Midna, Legend, Wars, Artemis, Non, Wind, and Tetra where all felled, with Flora, Dawn and Aurora sealing the Calamity together. Only Hyrule left the castle that day, save by a collapsing ceiling and cursing fate. He returned to the portal in Hateno (note: this happens after Dinks defeat. they where granted a boon from the goddesses for his defeat, and chose to have permanent portals created so they could visit each other) and delivers the news. Due to the Malice in the era of the wild the portal network is also damaged, meaning that to travel to and from that era one must deal with a 10:1 time dilation, or for every ten years in the era of the wild 1 year passes in the other eras.

Sometime after a system of sorts forms. once every ten years in hateno village three figures appear: a traveler, who sets out immediately to search for shrines, along with a merchant and a singer, two lovers who are forever missing their third member. The merchant is notorious for his low prices, selling royal weapons for only 100 rupees a piece (meanwhile, Ravio know's that rupees in this time are massively inflated and has no problem entering hyrule castle in painting form). It's also rumored that, if one enters the woods at night, and goes to the clearing where the strange, golden hilted shortsword is enshrined, three figures can be seen. Two, they are younger, or so the story goes, will talk to the sword for hours on end, and the gem in it's hilt will shin many colors, green and blue and red and purple, but mostly the latter two. "But," says the old ones who where young when the calamity first struck, and where there the day the strange man brought the guardian sword to their village, "if you wait long enough, till the hour just before dawn, those two will depart, and the third figure, who is the man who brought the sword, will kneel before it, and press the pommel against his forehead, and the gem will shine only violet. And I knew I was intruding on something sacred, like a funeral, so I crept away quickly and quietly, so they could have privacy." These people stay only for one year, before they disappear, only to return in another ten years

Sometime after this rut began, roughly seventy years into the calamity, Hyrule and Shadow together used necromantic magic to bring twi back as wolfie, time as the heroes shade, and Lullaby in a similar, stalfos like form.

100 years after the first assault, a girl, for girl she is at the moment, of seventeen years years in life and a hundred in death runs from a cave, with naught but some old rags on her back and the name given her by her sister on her lips, to breath the fresh, wild air and survey the world before her. A man watches her from under a nearby outcropping of rocks and smiles to himself under his short beard, already graying even though he's only in his mid forties. He stirs himself and calls out. "Hello up there!" he calls out, grinning to himself. She was back. His sister was back.

I genuinely can't decide:

Should Linkle and Warriors be siblings in my 'modern' au?

If they are who's older? Are they twins?

Cause like i like the linkle & warriors as siblings, but at the same time part of me wants warriors to be an only child and like have a kinda mourning thing when he hangs out with Wind and Aryll.

Like he's not jealous persay just, sad. Wishing that was him kinda thing when he sees them

Aryll would so adopt Wars as an older brother tho
