I was thinking how in the Biker AU if Tigerstar is not death, he is contacting his sons not via dreams, but rather by using a coin operated telephone wherever he is. "Listen son, you need to end Firestars leadership of Thund-" *connection lost* "Damn that was my last quarter. "

Ohh wait this is hilarious though because imagine the scene where Leafpool accidentally listen to tigerstar talking to his two sons be ause the god damn Starclan Inc are in charge of connecting the phone lines and the operator accidentally put her on the Dark Forest Line.

Looks-wise, they are pretty similar to their LU counterparts (minus Wind, who is an older version of himself).

As for what they wear though, I can go into more detail about that!

Time: Khaki pants with a button-up (although Malon begs him to please just wear a t-shirt and jeans, she's tired of him messing them up). He doesn't have a facial tattoo anymore, but he has a similar looking one on his chest.

Twilight: We all know he's a country boy, so old jeans, a plain T-shirt, and dark flannel. He has steel-toed work boots (he probably broke his toe when a set fell once and swore never again). His tattoo is on his upper arm now as well. Also, he absolutely has a farmer's tan. (I almost made him midwestern emo and I think that's hilarious)

Warriors: I feel like Wars would try to dress nice as much as he can. It just makes him feel good. So, he would wear a green blazer with his signature blue scarf and nice jeans. Everyone pokes fun at him for dressing up in college theater, where you will get dirty even as an actor, but he just says that's why washing machines were made.

Legend: Blue beanie (So original, I know) and a red zip-up jacket. I debated giving him a skirt, and I ended up on the decision of sometimes. It depends on what is going on in class that day. If it's simple and they are just learning about acting techniques, then he will. But if they are building sets or doing stage combat, he will wear some black pants. He also has a pair of brown boots he wears constantly.

Sky: Give Sky a sweater vest right now or help me, God. I just think he deserves it as a treat. He would pair it with a white button-up shirt and light jeans.

Hyrule: He was probably the easiest to come up with. He wears loose-fitting clothes he can move in. Something like cargo pants with a band t-shirt is probably his go-to.

Wild: Everything. The dude will wear anything and everything. Specific style? None. He just dresses how he's feeling for the day. If he had to have one specific outfit though, it would be his biker get-up. He may not think everything through, but motorcycle safety is very important, so he is sure to wear the correct pants, jacket, and helmet.

Four(s): The quadruplets have so many hoodies. Like it's a problem. They don't even know who's is who’s anymore, they just take whichever one they like and throw it on. They aren't picky about the rest of their outfit, usually just wearing some black pants and boots.

Wind: He has a collection of fun button-up shirts (me too). He wears shorts with some ratty shoes he should have thrown away forever ago, but he's emotionally connected to them. Also, just because I can, I'm going to say he has beach curls and freckles. He deserves a nice suntan.

Earth 1225: The Nutcracker AU

One Christmas, GUY GARDNER receives an inivation to stay with his old friend GENERAL GLORY over the holidays. GLORY presents GUY with a peculiar nutcracker for a gift. GUY begins to dream of the NUTCRACKER coming to life and fighting the RAT KING. When he wakes he sees evidence of this fight in GLORY'S living room. Is there more to this NUTCRACKER than there appears to be?

Ok I'm not going to lie. I never decided if Guy and Glory are still superheroes in this one. Right now I'm leaning towards no.

Guy's look is based on some of the civies that he's worn throughout the years. He defaults to leather jackets a lot in the new 52 stuff and also when he was between the yellow ring and the warrior look.

Lobo's outfit is based on the Lobo nutcracker that I made in 2022 out of a generic biker nutcracker. Making that nutcracker was a lot of fun and what started this whole thing to begin with.

I want to make a Guy nutcracker eventually and I also have some mini ones I got to customize into the JLI one day. Sadly I was too busy this December to get that going for 2023.

The plot is basically a little spin on The Nutcracker. Probably the classic Christmas tale that I've heard the most besides the actual birth of Christ. With The Nuttiest Nutcracker being the version that I am the most familiar with

I’m feeling cryptic today so here’s some vaguely concerning crumbs of Jacen lore that y’all may or may not already know (and that I will be providing no explanation for):

Smoked weed for the first time in my life on my best friend’s couch while watching Twilight and almost choked to death on a gummy worm

Broke my nose playing frisbee on a backpacking trip but didn’t go to the hospital because my dad said it was “fine”

Got chased and nearly trampled by moose on at least 10 separate occasions

Had a mental breakdown while driving my car to Losing Face by Wilbur Soot after being kicked from my high school track team because I was too mentally ill to get a passing grade in 4/6 of my classes

Almost got shot in the foot with a .45 by my little brother

On that note, I have pretty decent experience with both firearms and archery

Ate random mushrooms I found outside and didn’t die

Showed up to my aggressively conservative Christian midwestern family reunion dressed like a gay suburban dad on vacation

Rode my bike down a very steep boulder-covered embankment as a child and somehow came out completely unscathed

Got lost at a car show at like 7 years old and sobbed hysterically behind the wheel of a ‘67 Impala while being comforted by a very large biker guy in all leather who looked like hulk hogan but with a mohawk

Got chased by a bear

Had my car heater break in the middle of a blizzard and drove home shivering and cursing out my father while reaching over the wheel every five minutes to scrape frost off the windshield so I could see

Cut open my lip with my canine teeth

Tried to do a flip on a trampoline and broke my nose (again)

Cosplayed a Hetalia character for Halloween in middle school and got mad when no one knew who I was

Ok, so I’m probably never going to write/finish that Sukitara biker gang fic I was talking about, so I’m just gonna take you through it here:

Katara is in grad school, working to become a doctor. She works a couple jobs, 1 is a poorly paying internship situation, & she also works at a grocery store. Suki delivers fresh produce two times a week. They only talk when there’s an issue, so they get in petty fights. Katara also thinks Suki is standoffish and rude.

They live in a modern version on Republic City, and the Kyoshi Warriors are a vigilante biker girl gang. No one knows who they really are. They use secret identities since they don’t really get along with the cops. They started about 40 years ago with a woman named Kyoshi, who didn’t hide her identity. She doesn’t fight anymore, and no one knows where she went.

Katara has loved riding her motorcycle since she was a teenager. She is obsessed with the Kyoshi Warriors, and desperately wants to join.

In an attempt to get the Kyoshi Warriors’ attention, Katara creates a superhero identity of her own: The Painted Lady. She often runs into the Kyoshi Warriors, mostly on purpose, but they also naturally care about the same issues!

Bending exists, and Katara often uses waterbending to fight.

Katara shares an apartment with Aang, who caught on to her vigilante-ing almost immediately, and is trying to respect her privacy but is kind of worried about her! He sees the aftermath of the Kyoshi Warrior fights on TV! It looks really bad!

After a fight one day, a Warrior (Ty Lee) comes up to Katara to tell her she’s badass. Katara is like “~wow~ well, you guys inspired me to do this!” and they both kind of fangirl over each other until Katara is like heyyy I would love to join your group? And Ty Lee is like, oh, well, we don’t allow benders? But maybe, I’ll talk to the leader for you.

Katara is very disappointed, but continues as the Painted Lady, because she was actually helping people and it was awesome! Now, she’s low key competing with the Warriors. She knows it isn’t helpful, but... she can’t help it! She’s competitive and they are being totally unfair.

Eventually, Suki tries to talk to her. Katara recognizes her voice and panics, and just kind of shrugs and rides away. Suki is intrigued.

On one of her excursions, she goes to investigate a scuffle, and finds another vigilante fighting them: the Blue Spirit. She had heard of the Blue Spirit, but she kind of thought they were an urban legend, or something. They aren’t as out in the open as the Kyoshi gang, and the stories seem so outlandish... (the media does blow them out of proportion, b/c mystery) She joins the fight.

When Katara talks to the Blue Spirit, she disguises her voice (after the thing with Suki...) She doesn’t recognize his voice. (They are friends in regular life) They start fighting together from time to time.

((Sometimes, when Katara and her friends hang out, and the news will get turned on, and they’ll hear something about some vigilante or other, and Sokka will pointedly say “hm! sounds dangerous!” and Katara is starting to wonder if he knows about her... but he doesn’t. He’s talking to Zuko.))

Suki keeps trying to reach out to Katara as the Painted Lady. Katara doesn’t know it, but Ty Lee did talk to Suki, who isn’t crazy about letting a bender in, but wants to at least talk to her, but Katara is avoiding her like the plague (and to make matters worse, the girl at the grocery store is being even weirder than usual... wtf is wrong with everybody?)

~Somehow~ Suki and Katara become hesitant friends, and start teaching each other some of their tricks.

Eventually, Katara finds out about Zuko being the Blue Spirit, but doesn’t know what to do about it until he finds her helmet and they do the spiderman meme thing like :0 You!

At one point, Katara takes Suki out to the country where she loves to practice biking. It’s amazing and fun and it’s a bonding moment for them. They stop at a diner on the way back, in a place neither of them have never been before, and at the bar... there’s these two women eating together. And Suki keeps stealing glances at them until she leans over to Katara and says, “Man, that woman in the green jacket kind of looks like Kyoshi? I’ve never seen her, but we have some pictures...” and they both kind of freak out and walk over there like “heyyy sorry if this is weird...” and low and behold! It is Kyoshi and Rangi. They lose their shit, and it’s very embarrassing, but Kyoshi is pretty cool about it.

When you have a bunch of ideas and can’t decide what to write

OH DID I MENTION THAT NONE OF THEM HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH MY STEVE SERIES?! 

On top of being sick and not really having the energy to write these are just a few of the ideas that are bouncing around in my head. I will admit that I wrote the biker!Sam fic I had in my head all day. Hopefully I’ll get it posted tomorrow (needs beta’d) along with the next part of Every Rose Has Its Thorn

Twilight leaned back as they crawled up to the end of the lane in front of the red light. When he glanced just ahead, he saw someone else already waiting, sitting on a motorcycle as well.

Twilight squinted at the bird insignia on the jacket. Wait, he knew that symbol.

“Wild, is that Sky?” he asked incredulously. He didn’t know Sky rode a motorcycle as well.

Wild jerked his head to see, and he finally stopped the bike directly beside the other person. The biker turned and looked at them, and they immediately recognized Sky’s face in his helmet.

“Sky!” Twilight greeted with a laugh. “You going to work too? We just went for a ride in the valley for a bit before heading in.”

Sky smiled warmly, nodding. Then he looked at Wild, and his expression shifted. His eyes sparkled with something that looked suspiciously like mischief. Wild stiffened, and he cranked the engine a little, making the motorcycle jolt forward a hair before settling. Sky’s smile pulled at one side, and he mirrored the maneuver. Wild’s brow furrowed in a challenge.

Twilight felt his blood freeze. “Wild—Sky—no, no don’t you dare—”

The light turned green, and Twilight’s world bucked. He launched forward to cling to Wild, yelling as both motorcycles blazed a trail on the empty road ahead.

Warriors scrolled through the collection on the screen, humming pensively. Legend plopped an arm on his head, leaning over his shoulder to look at the screen.

The travel nurse scrunched his nose. “Are you shoe shopping?”

“There are three patients in the entire emergency department and none of them are mine,” Warriors said defensively. “Besides, I need some.”

Legend’s judgmental expression deepened into outright disgust. “Those are Danskos.”

“Yeah? And? Danskos are great.”

Legend trilled his lip, rolling his eyes and pulling away. “Yeah, right. Klogs are better.”

Warriors whirled in his chair, aghast. “What?”

“I said what I said.” Legend huffed. “Better cushioning and less painful for my knees. That means they’re better.”

“You’re just being impatient, you have to break in the Dansko shoes.” Warriors argued.

“You think I’ve got time for that nonsense?” Legend threw back, crossing his arms. “I don’t schedule time in my agenda to break in my shoes before using them at work.”

“Hi guys!”

Legend and Warriors turned to see Hyrule, who was walking over with an empty stretcher stripped of its linens.

“Hyrule! Which is better: Dansko or Klogs?” Legend asked, dragging their friend into the discussion.

Hyrule blinked. “Uh… what?”

Warriors sighed. “We were talking about what shoes we like best for work.”

Hyrule brightened. “Oh! Steel toed boots, definitely. And in black so they hide the blood stains.”

The nurses stared at the paramedic. Legend groaned.

Warriors sighed heavily. “Roolie, we need to take you shoe shopping sometime.”

Because I haven't drawn Nile in ages, I'm gonna be doing a 30 Days of Nile Dawk Drawing Challenge of sorts. Since I preset this to my own theme, I'm probably not gonna follow the 30 days strictly.

The prompts are basically all the Nile Dawk AUs and personas I had encountered for the last 10 years, either through doujinshis, fanworks or fanfics.

I genuinely believe that in modern aus, Zuko's first friend in the Gaang would be Suki. I think it makes perfect sense that he would know her through Ty Lee (who is part of the Kyoshi Warriors, who are like a biker gang or bowling team or gym buddies or whatever).

In the comics (I know no one reads the comics, but I do and shh) Suki is shown to worry about Zuko being lonely and depressed and wants to be there for him. So if Suki in modern au sees this depressed kid with no friends who is the brother of Azula, (no shade towards Azula! I love her very much and recognize her trauma, but she did objectively abuse Zuko and even if Suki doesn't know that, she probably knows how she treats/treated Ty Lee and knows that Zuko probably isn't best friends with his sister) I think she'd try to take him under her wing and rope him into meeting her friends.

So Suki starts bringing Zuko around to get togethers with the rest of the Gaang and he's all sullen and moody and bitter about it, but slowly starts to open up. And thus lifelong friendships are born!
