Brightflower and Brackenfoot

I’ve been rereading Yellowfangs secret, and many questions about genetics have been popping up in my head...so I thought I’d recreate this family tree to be genetically accurate!

Brightflower - initially described as long haired golden she-cat, in order for yellowfang to be GRAY, her mother must be a tortie. Alas, I did like her coat color, and the beauty of torties is that they can always be cryptic torties! So here we have a cream British longhair/persiany cat(however you wanna interpret yellowfang and her mom is up to you)

Brackenfoot - his canon description honestly made no sense: “pale ginger tom with dark ginger legs” ??? So, I interpret that as a flame point Siamese. Unfortunately none of his kids inherit his color points

Yellowfang - dilute tortoiseshell. I cannot fathom why a gray kitten would be named after the color yellow, so perhaps she had golden splashes on her pelt when she was born ??? Who knows

Rowanberry - initially described as a brown and cream she cat. I can think of interpreting that as a possible torbie, but honestly I like to think she looks a bit like yellowfang as well. Yes I know she has white spotting while neither of her parents do. I guess we’ll have to use our imagination

Nutwhisker - finally the only guy in the family genetically sound. Just a plain old black tabby

Haven’t done one of these in a while but they’re fun! Shoot me an ask if you want any more families or ideas of a characters family tree!
