heeseung is chilling on the couch when you approach him. he doesn’t even glance at you when you sit next to him. only when you start applying the lipgloss does he finally give you his attention.

"what are you doing"

"putting lipgloss on you, duh."

"why?"

"cause i wanna."

he doesn't say another word, letting you put it on. once you're finished, you admire you work. "now you look so pretty!" he mock pouts at you, "aren't i already pretty?"

"the prettiest, but now you're even prettier."

he leans in to kiss you but you pull away, "you're gonna smudge it!"

"don't care."

PARK JONGSEONG

you and jay are getting ready to go out. you've just finished applying your lipgloss when you decide he's gonna wear it too. you turn to face him, and without warning, start putting the lipgloss on him.

he backs away immediately, "i'm not wearing that."

you begin to whine, pouting as he shakes his head. "whine all you want, i'm not wearing it."

you decide to come up with another plan. you apply extra lipgloss on your own lips while he's checking himself out in the mirror. when he turns, you kiss him. he jerks in surprise but welcomes it nonetheless.

when you pull away, he's smiling, as are you because he now has a somewhat even layer of lipgloss on his lips. when his friends ask him later on why he's wearing lipgloss, the only thing he can do is find your eyes and glare as you giggle.

SIM JAEYUN

jaeyun is wrapped around your pretty little finger, you knew it the second you met, as did he. this means he lets you do whatever you want. when you approach him with the lipgloss, he doesn't even hesitate, puckering his lips to let you apply it.

when you're done, you take a selfie together, wasting no time in posting it online.

as he looks at it, he smiles.

"i look pretty," he says.

"you do, always."

"not as pretty as you though!"

"if you say so yunnie."

PARK SUNGHOON

sunghoon is napping on the couch when you decide to play the joke on him.

without moving too much, you quietly apply the lipgloss, trying not to add too much pressure. miraculously, 5 minutes later, he awakens.

"hey baby," you say, trying not to laugh.

he hums in acknowledgement, sitting up to stretch. you pull out your phone, starting video recording. "my baby just woke up, look how pretty he looks," you say to the camera as you pan it to sunghoon.

he tries to hide his face but you don't let him. you softly grab his jaw, turning his face so he's facing the camera. he looks at himself in the camera lens before his face contorts into one of confusion.

"why do my lips look like that?"

you burst into laughter as you hold up the lipgloss for him to see. he curses before violently wiping his lips with the back of his hand. "you're so annoying," he says with a slight whine in his voice.

"but you look so cute! it really makes your lips pop!"

"delete that video!"

"no!"

KIM SUNOO

when you tell sunoo that you got each other matching lipglosses, he's ecstatic. you agree to apply it on each other. he does you first, applying it gently and carefully.

you do the same to him, and you're in awe once you're finished.

"it compliments you so well sun!"

"yours is perfect too. how did you know which ones to get?"

"well i think about your lips all the time. how perfect they are. soft, pretty color, perfect size, so kissable. that's how i knew."

sunos begins to blush. he hits your shoulder lightly, "you can't say stuff like that! you know how i get!"

"i know, i just love teasing you!"

YANG JUNGWON

jungwon is another man totally whipped for you, with no shame.

you're getting ready to go to a party and you've just finished your makeup. jungwon comes up from behind you, admiring you in the mirror. "you somehow get more and more beautiful everyday."

you smile widely, "and you somehow get more and more handsome everyday."

your eyes move between him and the lipgloss, a beautiful shade of pink that would compliment his lips so well.

"i can see the gears turning in your head, go ahead, put it on me."

you squeal in delight as you immediately start applying the lipgloss. jungwon keeps still, puckering when you tell him to. when you're done, you show him in the mirror. "look how good it looks!"

he smacks his lips a couple times, "it does look good. you always know how to make me look even better."

NISHIMURA RIKI

you and riki constantly bicker. not in a serious way but in a cute couples way.

when you tell him you wanna put lipgloss on him, he immediately tells you no. "but riki!" "no!"

you beg him to do it for you. he still denies you, claiming nothing will make him do it, not even your infamous puppy eyes.

you do the only thing you can think of. when he's sleeping, you carefully apply the lipgloss and proceed to take pictures and send them to the group chat.

y/n: look at the pretty princess 🎀

the replies are immediate, the boys responding to your message with crying and laughing emojis.

when riki wakes up an hour later and checks his phone, he rushes outside to find you sitting there like you've done nothing wrong. "you are so done for," he says and before you know it, he's in front of you, tickling you to death.

he refuses to let up, even as you say you're sorry, your sides hurting.

"say you're sorry!'

"i'm sorry ki, i'm sorry!"

ChipmunkWing -> Maul |They/Them

ChipmunkWing was brought up well in Thunderclan, decently enough let's say. They were rowdy and energetic, but their siblings teased and mercilessly bullied them for their small stature, even in their apprentice years. Eventually, they were sent on a journey alongside five other cats, one of which later became their mate, but the relationship was one of control and abuse for many years. It reached a boiling point when their mate became physically aggressive after ChipmunkWing had helped an outsider group of cats, and they gashed open ChipmunkWing's face, blinding them in the process.

They escaped Thunderclan the following night, their clan betrayed them, never stood up for them because in ChipmunkWing's eyes, "They were too cowardly to fight against any injustice". ChipmunkWing found their way into the city, it was hard at first but they got by, they claimed to defeat a dog, which caught the attention of many. They were later approached to deal with another dog and "defeated" that one too, and when asked what their name was, ChipmunkWing declared their new name, Maul.

Since then, Maul has lead Bloodclan. Her previously mellowed energy and personality brought back and stronger than ever. Maul offers shelter for cats who are hurt or abused, something that Thunderclan never offered.

He’s falling deaf to your whines, one ear and out the other.

“‘M trying to sleep.” You mumble with sleep-riddled voice, trying to push the boy’s face away from yours.

He isn’t quick to give up.

“And ‘m trying to kiss my girlfriend.”

Jeongin’s someone that rarely craves physical intimacy despite having the most beautiful hands and the most perfect lips.

Not that you minded.

You think it’s endearing how he reserves it for you, in the comfort of baggy clothes and the security of his room.

You can’t help but giggle at him. Your touch-hater boyfriend practically begging to keep kissing you. You should relish in this moment a bit longer.

Because apparently he can’t wait until morning, or at least certainly not when he’ll have to be shaken awake in the early hours of dawn for practices and schedules.

His lips stay attached on your skin, open-mouthed kisses pressed on anywhere he can get access to—cheeks, forehead, lips, chin, neck, lips, shoulder, ear, lips.

“Let me kiss you?” Jeongin leaves a trail just before landing back on your lips, hovering. You don’t know what time it is, but you know it’s past midnight when he’s soft and malleable like this, and begging in slurred vocabulary.

“Please?”

This man is going to kill you one day.

“Okay.”

Your one-word response doesn’t even have time to fizzle out into the air when your boyfriend latches his lips onto yours in an almost neediness.

He’s hazy-eyed, limp-tailed in your arms, and he doesn’t continue down to any more than kissing like he usually does. He knows that you’re tired, so he keeps it at just making out.

It goes on longer than you have the breath for it.

Jeongin allows you the liberty of taking in more air, pulling out to look at the messy plump of your lips, and then your eyes.

He thinks, he should really let you sleep soon.

“One more, promise.”

He whispers, attention span not rich enough to say another word before he’s chasing your lips for the last time. And his hands stay gently at your waist, that it makes you feel warmer than you already do.

Then, when he’s sure he’s kissed you enough to suffice missing your lips during practice, he releases you, and breathes out, “Mkay, you can sleep now. Thanks, baby.”

His fingers hold your body in place that you’re still pressed against him, and it’s really such a delight to witness his droopy eyes and his love-drunk smile and the bashful tint of his cheeks. He dips into your hair, a smile ghosting his lips when he gets a trace of the shampoo he uses.

“Hm, goodnight my Innie.” Your head finds his neck like it’s routine, but he can still hear you mumble against his skin.

“Don’t call me that if you don’t want me to kiss you again.” Jeongin makes a complaining noise, always been weak when you put a possessive determiner before his name.

You can only laugh with your exhaustion.

If any of the boys were to walk in his room, you were sure they’d be surprised at the sight they’d be subjected to. The reminder of their youngest pointedly making attempts to avoid their hugs, just to beg for yours—Han Jisung would throw a tantrum.

(“He must really like her,” Minho says after a chance encounter finding you and Jeongin asleep on the couch.

His hair tickles the skin of your neck at how close he is, and there is a fond smile on Minho’s face at the sight.

“Don’t let Sungie see this.” Felix laughs.)

Jeongin falls asleep before you do. Turns out he wasn’t as awake as you thought he was, but your heart tingles at the thought that he’d spent his last remaining moments of consciousness kissing you.

That, instead of resting to get at least a decent amount of sleep before his schedules, he’d chosen to meet your lips.

“Goodnight, Innie.”

(You let him kiss you again, dumb and needy and soft and knowing, the next evening.)

But I feel like if one of his VH team members leaving for differing morals, the hermits going back 6 plus years to remove him from thumbnails and titles, and removing him from the site and merch should be enough Doc even said they can't talk about it which could mean anything, including something legal. the tumblr shutdown situation is so bothersome because this is what. the 4th time now? but there may actually be some validity to it this time due to the significant layoffs.

i know automatic had plans on back ending tumblr to wordpress and then integrate with fediverse, but that seems far fetched now considering the circumstances. you need to be a lawyer to post on reddit with how absurd their subreddit rules are, instagram is hell, and twitter has no redeeming qualities. i like the search function on tumblr. i enjoy being able to find exactly what i reblogged in my archive. i like gifs and long, single posts.

every website has annoying users, but the tumblr flavour of annoying is more bearable than twitter’s, and no one here is spamming reaction images in the replies. i can post an essay over analysing a tcw scene and no one is posting that spongebob roller coaster gif.

anyway i’d go ahead and just post any fics/drabbles you’ve made to your ao3 now . also here is a picture of my cat, her name is korra and she is so so soft

maybe this is just my pet peeve, but:

it would be helpful if authors could mention the wordcount for longer fics posted on tumblr - I'm talking over 1k, especially if it's all below the cut OR there's no fic, only an ao3 link, and you also have your fics behind a login wall bc that means having to open in a browser to login bc tumblr browser doesn't recognise.. it's just frustrating.. all these extra steps just to see a wordcount let alone fic tags means i won't bother and i know i might be missing out on good fic 🫠🫠🫠
