very normal about Job era Crowley tempting Aziraphale to be closer to earth, closer to HIM, with wine and food and free will, watching him eat with barely restrained lust in his eyes, recontextualizing every future “Crowley watching Aziraphale eat” scene as him reliving that original thrill

Freshman year left you beat down on the floor. You had been roomed with a girl named Hela. The two of you had hit it off instantly. In fact, you spent so much time together that everyone would know if they found one of you, then they could find the other nearby, definitely helped that you somehow had the exact same class schedule. By the end of the first semester, Hela asked you out and one week later, she asked you to be her girlfriend.
What was the happiest month turned dark and lonely. Hela spent more and more of her time focused on her sorority since being officially accepted. She had set completely insane restraints on you. You had to text her every hour whenever you were apart, it didn’t matter that she wouldn’t acknowledge your messages. She even would rarely show up at the dorm room to sleep, claiming that the sorority house was where she needed to be, but demanded a picture of you in bed every night.
You had long since given up expecting to see her anywhere but during classes, however, when she sat down with the other girls in her sorority looking you right in the eyes as she did, you finally broke. That was your time together and she was so obviously picking them.
That only snowballed into her eating lunch in the quad with them too. She took you to a few sorority parties and introduced you to her ‘favorite person’ and sorority big sister, Carol. The two were attached at the hip which quickly left you to nurse a drink off in the corner.
You didn’t have the backbone to say anything, blindly hoping she would realize how much she missed you and run back.
It wasn’t until right before the end of year finals that Hela had stayed back in the dorm room once again. The two of you would study nonstop and laugh and joke. Everything you had spent months wishing for was happening. The girl you liked was back.
After finishing your last final before Summer break, you waited for her in the hallway. Less than 15 minutes later she pushed open the classroom door and stepped out. You locked eyes and she rushed up and gave you a hug. “Thank you so much, Madelyn. I really could not have passed these finals without you.”
Smiling warmly at the raven haired girl, “Always. It’s you and me all the time. I couldn’t show up to sophomore year without you next to me.”
Her eyes fell downwards before slowly reaching yours again. “About that, Madelyn, I think we should end things. You are just in such a different place than me and I am changing my major, so we won’t be in the same classes anyways. Not to mention, you can really blow up my phone and I am just not into that. But thank you so much for the help this year.” You can’t help but stare at her wide eyed, blinking repeatedly as you try to process her words. She pats your cheek before turning around and walking down the hall “Have a good summer!”
The only thought running thought your mind is ‘what the fuck.”

You cannot believe this day is finally here, sophomore year of college. After a thoroughly disastrous freshman year, you are determined to completely turn your life around. A new roommate, new classes, if you can be picky, then hopefully a solid friend group will be thrown in there too.
It was still a few days before the actual first day of classes, but you wanted to get into your new dorm and settle in. There were quite a lot of other students with the same idea, all unpacking their parents cars that were stuffed full. You quickly paid the taxi driver and hopped out the back seat. He opened the trunk and lifted your suitcase onto the road.
Dragging your bag up the sidewalk and settling in the line waiting for the booth to find your new dorm room and collect the room key. You look around, wondering if your new roommate is in this same crowd, thinking if her parents are holding back tears as they hug her goodbye.
Thankfully, before you can stumble too far down that path, you reach the front of the line. “Name and year?”
“Oh, uh, Madelyn Andrews. Sophomore.” She flips through the pages and finds your name with ease. Looking down into her organized box of keys, she picks up on set, “Room 616.”
With a soft smile, you accept the key and head towards the sophomore dorms.
Thankfully, there’s an elevator in all the dorm buildings once you’re no longer a freshman. You always joked that it was the university’s way of hazing the entire freshman class.
The slow elevator had you wondering if you could have walked the stairs and ended up there faster, but eventually, opened onto the sixth floor. You held your breath as you walked up to your door.
Pressing your ear against the wooden surface and straining to try and hear any movement. It sounded completely empty inside. With a quick ‘thank you’ to the skies above, you push the key into the lock and turn, opening the door.
Unsurprisingly, it is the same layout as your freshman year dorm, not that you were superstitious, but in the spirit of completely turning your life around you opted for the bed on the right this time.
It didn’t take more than an hour for you to put away your clothes and set up the small mementos of your friends from back home. Walking back over to your suitcase, you pull out a small blanket that barely is long enough to cover your legs and hide it under your pillow.
Laying on your new bed and scrolling your university’s Instagram page, trying to find something to do that can pass the time. That’s when you see there is an early bird trivia event being hosted at the student center in ten minutes.
Taking a second to think, you come to the conclusion that this is the perfect chance to meet new people. Reinvent yourself as someone social, someone beyond only one friend turned girlfriend.
Softly pushing yourself off the elevated bed, you walk over to the shared closet and pull out your favorite white crew neck in case the temperature drops after sunset. With an unbalanced turn, you spin around and pull on your black and gray checkered vans. Hopping over to the mirror to give yourself a fast once over then heading straight out the door.
It’s only a short walk to the student center from your dorm this year, which you’re thankful for, perfect for meeting new people.
Remembering how heavy the student center door is, you pull hard on the handle. The universe must be laughing at you because that seemed to be the wrong choice. The usually heavy door was light this year and you have just thrown the door as wide as it would go, causing a decently loud sound.
A few students near the door look at you, but thankfully the other students further into the building haven’t seemed to notice a thing. Which is where the trivia is being held, so you awkwardly walk through the doors and inside.
“Hello, welcome to early bird trivia: musicals. Are you joining a team or registering a new one?” states a wide eyed brunette woman.
“Oh, I didn’t know we had to have a team..” you begin to look around for anyone you might vaguely recognize. “Not a worry, dear. We have another girl looking for a team too. You two can partner up.” She starts to wave over a blonde, who’s smiling bigger than you would think possible.
She continues, “This is..” she pauses waiting for you. “Madelyn.”
“And she needs a team as well. So, what will the team name be?”
Before you even have a moment to think of something clever, the blonde speaks up, “Mac n Cheese Lovers.” You cannot help but snort at her abruptness. The brunette hands you a paper and pencil to write down your answers on, “Good luck ‘Mac n Cheese Lovers.”
Following the blonde over to a table near the smoothie bar along the left wall, as she sits down she introduces herself, “Hey. My name is Yelena. I hope you like Mac n Cheese or this team name will be super awkward,” she snickers.
You shake your head slightly, “The name is perfectly fitting. I’m a huge fan,” you laugh, “My name is Madelyn. It’s nice to meet you. So what year are you in?”
“Sophomore,” the blonde replies, “How about you?”
“Same, sophomore.” The two of you continue with small talk for a couple minutes until you hear the game host start speaking. He gives a quick introduction of his name and lets everyone know he’s the student activity director, so he plans all university approved events. Which leads him to a quick warning that means no drinking or drugs at these events since he’s required to report them to the Dean. Then, he gets into the trivia rules.
Once he finishes, Yelena leans over to you, “We have to win. Or at least beat my annoying sister and her girlfriend.”
You raise your eyebrow at the woman, “If you knew people, how come you didn’t team up with them?”
She waves off your question before pointing them out, “See those two redheads? That’s them. They are insufferable at any sort of competition. We need to show them up and win, so I hope you’re a musical lover because I am most certainly not a musical theater major,” she chuckles as she finishes her sentence.
“They do look insufferable,” you agree with the blonde, “and lucky for you, while I am not a musical theater major, I am a lover of Broadway, so get ready to kick some ass.”
Yelena claps you on the back and laughs, “I like you, Madelyn. Let's do this.”
“Okay, everyone, first question. What musical movie has the song ‘It's the Hard-Knock Life’?”
You quickly write down ‘Annie’ on the paper next to the number one as he repeats the first question.
“Second question, the musical Hairspray is set in what American city?”
Once again, you write down ‘Baltimore’ immediately next to the number two as he repeats the question.
And the process repeats itself all the way to the end. You, unsurprisingly, knew every answer, besides two. Thankfully Yelena seemed very confident in the answers, which led you to learning that while she was not an overall musical lover, she was obsessed with ‘SIX’, claiming ‘they all should have just murdered that idiotic king’.
By the end, you and Yelena are laughing together and being shushed by other teams around you trying to think. Yelena pays them no mind while she tries to watch and see if her sister and her girlfriend are guessing the answers correctly by the way she’s writing. You tried to tell her that would be impossible to know, but the blonde paid you as little mind as she did the surrounding teams.
Finally, the host announces for everyone to settle down and starts going over the list of correct answers. Yelena is practically levitating off the seat with how excited she is. Your team got every question right. “Okay everyone, count up your total of correct answers.” He waits a few seconds before beginning again, “raise your hand if your team got more than five correct.”
Faster than lightning, Yelena's hand is in the air, yours follows quickly. “Raise your hand if your team got more than ten correct.” Three other teams' hands go down. “Raise your hand if your team got more than fifteen correct.” Another two teams’ hands lower. Leaving your team, two other teams, and Yelena’s sister’s team, much to the blonde’s annoyance.
“Raise your hand if you got more than seventeen correct.” One team puts their hands down. “Raise your hand if you got more than eighteen correct.” The other team drops their hands. Making the final two teams, ‘Mac n Cheese Lovers’ and ‘Traitors’, if you were to believe Yelena.
“Looks like we have a tight race everyone, how exciting, keep your hands up if you got all twenty questions correct.” A moment of tense silence falls over the room, the redheads slowly lower their hands. A loud, piercing scream sounds off beside you, “Yes! Ha! I won! So much for ‘Yelena you don't know anything about musicals. Go find your own team’.” The blonde begins doing her victory dance as you laugh. She grabs your hand and motions for you to victory dance with her. And how could you say no when you are equally excited about the win.
“We have our winners, everyone congratulations to..” the host drags off his sentence.
“Mac n Cheese Lovers!” the two of you say while laughing and dancing together.
“Congratulations to ‘Mac n Cheese Lovers’. Thank you to everyone for coming out and starting off this year with a bang! I will see you at the next activity!” Slowly everyone staggers out of the student center and into the night as you’re exchanging Instagrams with Yelena and saying your goodbyes.
Not even three steps away from the table, you hear someone speaking to Yelena, “Clearly, you didn’t win with your own lack of knowledge. So, what’s her name?” Not wanting to look back and have them know you’re listening, you keep walking as you hear Yelena reply “Madelyn. Why?”
Cursing yourself for not slowing down because now you’re too far away to keep trying to listen, you look over your shoulder right before walking out the doors. Locking eyes with two pairs of green eyes staring back at you.

Spending most of your days walking around campus and figuring out the quickest way to each of your classes, then finding a second route.., and a third route, just in case. Eventually making your way to the cafeteria since it’s the only food place open on campus until classes begin and sitting out in the quad people watching as more and more people arrive. You haven’t met up with the blonde, or the two mysterious redheads, you met at trivia since. However, you are often sending memes back and forth which you take as a small step towards your first new friend of the year.
It’s officially one day until classes start and you still haven’t met your roommate. You have considered walking back to the welcome booth and asking if you even have a roommate since it’s extremely uncommon to not be moved into the dorms by this time.
As much as most people would love to strike luck and get a free single, that is the absolute last thing you want.
The universe finally seems to answer your silent worrying and wishing as you hear someone fumbling with the keys outside your door. Quickly, you hop from the bed and rush to open the door. Coming face to face with a dark haired brunette.
“Oh, good, you’re moved in already!” Taken aback by the woman’s words, your focus shifts between her and the large number of boxes next to her in the hallway.
“Do, uh, do you need help?”
“That’d be great. My name’s Kate. You’re Madelyn, right?”
A wave of shock hits you at hearing someone you’ve never met know your name. Seeing the look on your face causes Kate to laugh. She starts to shimmy inside and you hurriedly move to the side, so she can walk in easier. Once she’s in, you step out of the room and pick up one of the boxes. “It is, yeah. So, where do you want this?”
“You can just throw everything on the bed.”
It doesn’t take long for the two of you to move everything into the small dorm. Laughing as you both try to move around with the now limited floor space since Kate’s bed was quickly filled up with boxes.
After an offer to help the brunette unpack her things, you figure out she is quite uncaring about her clothes, but she is very particular about her bow. You learn she joined the school archery team last year, but already stands to make captain for her second year.
She tells you about how last year, on a dare, she hit the bell tower with an arrow. “So, you were the one who caused the crack in the bell tower?” Covering your mouth to try and hide your laugh. She looks at you with wide eyes, “I can’t confirm or deny which clock tower it was.”
Which only causes you to lose all control and laugh wildly out loud.
-
Successfully surviving the first four weeks of your second year in college, you get to celebrate at the first football game of the season. Thankfully, Kate is not into the sorority scene like your ex was, so you can go to the game together rather than alone.
With your back against your bed and your feet up the side of the wall, you’re waiting for Kate to get back from her archery practice. She made captain last week which led to you both sneaking out of the dorm at midnight and walking to the nearest pizzeria for a celebratory pizza. Your memory was promptly interrupted by the door slamming into the wall, “Shit. Sorry.”
Laughing at Kate’s mumbled apology to the girls next door who always complain about you two being unnecessarily loud. The brunette throws her sweaty t-shirt at your face which you quickly launch back at her as she softly shuts the door.
“Hurry up and get ready, Bishop. The game starts in thirty minutes and you smell like a wet dog.”
“Your words are so sweet. Dipped in honey I would say,” Kate’s words laced with sarcasm as she playfully flips you off while kicking off her shoes.
“Only in honey? You don’t get the soft rose petals or melted chocolate too?” Your words only earn you a deadpan stare from the archer. With a grunt, you push yourself off the wall and sit upright, “Don’t forget that tonight is a black out game, so you need to be in all black to show support.”
“Oh yes, I would hate not to show support. Unfortunately, all my black clothes are currently dirty-”
“I know, which is why I took the liberty of doing our laundry earlier today. Your outfit is laid out on the bed.” You say with a smile and move to make your fingers into the shape of a heart.
Kate can’t help but roll her eyes and laugh, “Of course, you did.” Walking up to her shower bag and picking it up, she heads to the door. “I will be back in no less than 10 minutes, Sargeant,” winking at you, knowing you hate the nickname, before quickly mumbling out, “and thank you for doing my laundry. You’re the best.” and walking out of the room.
Rushing a quick ‘You’re welcome’ out before the door shut. You begin getting dressed yourself, deciding on a black halter top and some black jean shorts with your black high-top converses. Throwing your hair up into a high ponytail, then pulling out your baby hairs so you don’t look like an egg.
True to her word, Kate walks back in 10 minutes later as you put headphones in and stare at the ceiling, you give your roommate privacy to get ready.
Feeling your headphones ripped out of your ears causes you to face the archer as she smiles, “How do I look? Andrews approved?” Kate stands in front of you in black long sleeve cropped top and blacked ripped jeans.
Jokingly, you raise an eyebrow at her, faking a moment of contemplation before returning the smile, “You look hot. You will definitely grab whoever’s attention you want.”
“I don’t want anyone's attention, '' the brunette scoffs.
“Sure you don’t and I don’t hope that my 7am professor is sick on Monday,” you retort.
“I don’t even think she is gonna be there,” Kate starts pulling on the sleeves of her shirt, “I don’t think football games are her thing.”
You take a moment to consider what to say. It’s been months since you had a crush on anyone and wanted to try and impress a girl. When you first found out your roommate started crushing on someone, you had been relentless in attempting to have her confess who it was. But as stubborn as you were, Kate was also head strong in keeping her secret.
“Her loss then. We can post a picture and she’ll see everything she misses out on by skipping the game,” you wink. Linking arms, you and Kate walk out of the dorm and head to the field.
The first stop you both make is the concession stand since food is the top priority any time the two of you leave the dorm together. Ordering you both an ICEE, yours being coke flavored and Kate’s cherry, and a hot dog each.
Once arriving at your seats, you turn around and ask the girls behind you if they could take a picture for you. You both hold up your ICEEs, smiling as you cheer for the picture.
Kate posts the picture on her Instagram, tagging you, and captions the post ‘I’m only here for the ICEEs’.
Quickly commenting ‘and my amazing company’ under her post. Then posting the picture onto your story with hearts underneath.
It’s not until the third quarter that you both finally relent and head to the bathrooms. While standing in line chatting about nothing and everything, the archer tenses beside you and presses herself between you and the wall, “what are yo-”
Kates proceeds to shush you and shrinks further into her hiding spot. Looking around to try and see what has your roommate acting so strange, you come up short since you don’t recognize anyone.
That is until you glance over to the concession line and notice Yelena, who you met your first day back on campus. Quickly turning around to Kate, “Oh, Kate. Do you remember how I told you I met this hilarious girl my first day back?“ You point over to the blonde, “She’s right there. Her name is Yelena.”
The brunette’s face pales suddenly. Worry rushes through you and your eyes immediately start scanning for what’s upset your friend so badly. Until it clicks, “Kate…Oh, Katie,” you start to whisper, “ is Yelena who you have a crush on?”
Her eyes met yours and you can tell you’re right. “I totally know her. I can introduce you if you want. Granted, I haven’t actually spoken with her for over a month, BUT we regularly exchange memes.”
Before Kate could give any response to you, you feel a tap on your shoulder and turn around.
“Madelyn, I thought it was you! How have you been?” Yelena says with a big smile on her face.
“I’m great. Settling into my classes and wishing I didn’t sign up for a 7am lecture that I completely don’t understand and will need to find a tutor for, the usual. How about you?”
As the blonde opens her mouth to reply, she notices Kate, “Bishop? Madelyn and Bishop? You two know each other?” .
“Roommates,” You both say at the same time before you continue, “We’re roommates. How do you know Kate?”
“She’s my lab partner,” she leans around you and looks at the brunette, “We have a project coming up and I’ve been meaning to reach out and figure out a time that works for you,” she runs her fingers through her blonde hair nervously.
A sneaky smile goes across your face, realizing that Yelena also seems to have a crush on Kate.
The archer stands up suddenly at her crush’s words, “I have archery practice most days, but I’m free on Tuesdays after 3pm, if that works.”
Yelena simply smiles back, “Tuesdays are great, except, I’m in class until 4. How about you come to my apartment, it’s five minutes from campus, and we can eat and start our research?”
“Off campus?”
“Yeah, my sister and her girlfriend wanted to have a secluded place away from the sorority and invited me to stay there too.”
You nod, listening to the two speak while also trying to give them privacy by looking anywhere else in the slowest moving restroom line.
Suddenly, Yelena’s phone goes off, “Speaking of the devil,” she answers.
You can’t hear whoever it is super well over the crowd cheering at what must have been the best touchdown of the game but once they quiet down you hear that voice again from trivia night, the redheaded sister of Yelena.
The blonde turns over her shoulder to look near the concession line she just came from, “I just want a coke.” You look over in the same direction as Yelena, “No, I don’t want anything else. I will be right back. I was just saying ‘hey’ to Madelyn and Bishop. Get your underwear out of a twist. I’m heading back now. Bye.”
Your heart leaps out of your chest when you finally notice the redhead in line. Making eye contact with her deep green eyes for longer than normal which causes Kate to nudge your shoulder as it’s finally your turn to walk into the restroom.
“Sorry,” you mumble to your roommate before turning back with one final look, receiving a wink from both women.
Kate gives a quick goodbye to Yelena before she walks away and then pushes you through the door.
Your roommate tries to ask you about it in the restroom, but you firmly shut down that topic and turn the conversation around on her. If you had known her crush was on Yelena, then you would have tried long ago to set them up on a blind date. Which is probably why the brunette didn't say who she was spending her days thinking about.
Making your way back to the seats, thankfully, without running into anyone else, you try to wipe the redhead’s face out of your memory, feeling incredibly embarrassed for your behavior when seeing her.
The last quarter of the game passes in a blur that you aren’t even aware the game ended until you notice the football players celebrating on the field and groups of people moving around you to leave at the same time. You glance up to the scoreboard and see the score, 30-28, your team winning.
Pulling out your phone, you swipe to pull up Instagram and post the scoreboard to your story, ‘our blood, our sweat, your tears’.
Linking your arm with Kate to make sure neither of you get lost on the way out of the stadium, the cool fall breeze whips at your shoulders the second you make it outside, but you welcome it after squeezing against every sweaty jock trying to get out of the stadium at the same time.
The two of you quietly laugh together when you look back to see people squeezing through the doors you just came through.
Neither of you are paying attention and accidentally bump into someone, to your dismay it was Yelena’s sister. Your body goes rigid at the sight of her. A scowl on her face until she settles her eyes on you then she gives you a soft smile.
“So, so, so sorry about that. We should have paid more attention.” The redhead’s smile slowly grows bigger as you continue talking. “Sorry again.”
You go to turn away and drag Kate along when you feel a warm hand softly wrap around your bicep, “No, I should be ashamed for not giving you more attention when you’re around,” smirking slightly at you.
A small blush rushes to your cheeks, opening and closing your mouth a few times before giving a gentle nod to the woman before turning around again.
Once you are out of hearing range from the redhead, Kate starts laughing, “Oh, you’re like a fly trapped in the spider's web.”
With a quick glare to your roommate and a prompt slap to the arm, “Shut up.”
-
As you lay on your bed, winding down your night time routine, you decide to scroll Instagram. Liking posts from your roommate and best friend, Kate’s, account. You didn’t think you would get as close to the girl as you had, but the two of you got along surprisingly well. Usually, you would be watching a new episode of Grey's Anatomy together tonight, however, Kate finally gathered her nerves and asked out Yelena, her lab partner, on a date.
Squealing and bouncing in your tiny dorm room bed, “Shut up! You did it? You finally admitted you have a crush on her?”
“I wouldn’t go that far!” The brunette laughs in response, “I just asked if she would want to go out to the new ax-throwing bar that just opened up.” She throws herself down on her back onto your bed, frowning and sounding much more somber. “But, Madelyn, Yelena asked if we could go this Thursday. She has to go to the sorority party this Friday.”
Moving around until you're laying down shoulder to shoulder with her, “Psh. Don’t even start, you are going and maybe even getting a second date for Friday.” Wiggling your eyebrows at her and shoving your body slightly into her.
“If that happens, then you’re coming with me. You need to get out and finally move on from your ex.” Placing your hand over your heart, you playfully scoff and wave off a mumbled agreement, trying to steer away from another possible conversation to find out who your ex is.
Smiling as you recall the memory, you suddenly hear the door to your dorm unlock.
Kate whispers to someone in the hall, who you assume to be Yelena, “Of course, I’d love to. See you tomorrow.”
Quickly, she walks in and immediately places her back on the door to close it. A wide grin on your roommate's face as she looks over to your bed. First kicking off her shoes, then running to jump into your bed. You stare at her, waiting for her to begin.
Kate sighs before exclaiming, “SHE ASKED ME OUT TO THE SORORITY PARTY TOMORROW!” Wrapping your arms around your friend as you jump together over the great news.”Get ready, Madelyn, you and I are going to a party!”
“Wait, Kate,” You pull back to look at her wide eyed, “I thought you were kidding.”
-
The party started at least an hour ago, but because of your indecisiveness on what to wear, which ended up just being a simple v cut blue dress with white high tops. As you both walk up, you stare at the brick house bursting with music. You hear Kate talking, “Party Rules 101. Don’t forget not to go upstairs with anyone. Do not accept a drink from anyone who is not me. I know you will want to leave early, so do not go without telling or texting that you’re heading out either. Okay?”
You blink a few times before you recognize she wants a reply, “Got it.” She smiles at you and takes your hands before walking up the porch steps.
Kate knocks on the white door. You wonder how anyone would be able to hear the knock inside with how loud the music is playing, but not even five seconds later the door is open. The sound of the music makes you take a step back. Anxiety washing over you instantly as you look down. You don’t even hear the words spoken between your friend and the redhead opening the door.
Kate’s hold on your hand tightens in hopes to reassure you before she pulls you along to step inside. It isn’t until Kate’s other hand waves to get your attention off the floor that you look up and realize both girls are staring at you expectedly. “I’m sorry, what?” you say softly.
The redhead chuckles and repeats herself, “Hi, I’m Wanda and the Vice President here. We have two bathrooms downstairs, one by the kitchen and one by the laundry room. Also, two upstairs just in case. Drinks, of course, are in the kitchen or the backyard. Is there anyone you are looking for that I can direct you towards? Or anything I can get you to drink?”
“I’m looking for Yelena actually. Do you know where she is?” Kate quickly replies. “She’s in the living room playing beer pong,” Wanda points over to her left, “Go right through there and you will find her.”
With lightning speed, Kate drops your hand and rushes off to find the blonde. Your mouth hangs open as you stare off in the direction she flew.
The redhead laughs as she looks at you before offering her arm, “Can I escort you anywhere?” Glancing around the foyer, you can't recognize anyone, so you nervously agree and link your arm with hers, “I don’t think I know anyone else here, so anywhere you want to go is fine with me.”
A bright smile spreads on the Vice President's face as she guides you out of the foyer and into the backyard to watch someone attempt a keg stand. You can’t help but look stunned as you watch the girl drink. “Would you like to try?” Wanda startles you with the question. Shaking your head no with absolute certainty that you could never have arm strength or lung capacity.
After a few moments more of watching, she slowly guides you over to the pool. The redhead kicks off her shoes and motions for you to do the same. The two of you sit down along the edge and place your feet in the water. You start to mindlessly kick your feet along to the music that is playing throughout the speakers. “So, am I allowed to ask your name?”
Multiple memories come to mind with times the Vice President has heard your name, “I’m pretty sure you know my name.”
Wanda’s tongue drags underneath the bottom of her teeth, “Oh, I do, but I want to hear it from your pretty, little mouth.”
Your breath catches in your throat at her words, taking a moment to settle your racing heart, you slowly speak, “Madelyn.”
Deciding to try and control the conversation you cut her off before she could say anything else. “Do you usually take interest in random people that show up to your sorority’s parties?”
She chuckles at your question, “No, not usually. But I would not say you’re a random person. Plus I have never had the pleasure of someone as captivating as you walk through those doors.”
“Yeah, right.” You couldn’t help but roll your eyes at the redhead.
She grabs your chin and makes you look up at her, “Oh I didn’t take you for the bratty type.” You could have sworn that her eyes sparkled when she said that.
You shutter, trying to think of a reply. Your brain is completely lagging at the touch and sound of her voice. Wanda’s thumb moves and pushes between your lips, “Is there anything even going through that little head of yours?”
A small groan rips it way out your throat and your eyelids droop slightly. The redhead pushes down slightly onto your tongue.
Mumbling around her thumb, “Yes.”
The Vice President’s smirks at your reply, “Yes,” She mocks you, “Yes, to what?”
You shift your eyes back to her as you take in the specific color of her eyes, a sparkling green, this time a soft moan comes out of your lips, “Please..”
You think Wanda must take pity on you because suddenly she drops her hand from your mouth. Everything about her seems to return back to when you first walked in the house. She’s back to being sweet and polite, it makes your head spin. “What brings you to the party tonight, Madelyn? Well besides escorting Bishop, of course.”
This was a question you didn’t know how to answer. Why were you here in the backyard of your ex’s sorority spending time with her Vice President? Glancing around the backyard, noticing that you still don't know anyone here, you sigh, “Honestly, I’m not sure. Kate said I needed to come if she got a second date because, apparently, I need to move on.”
“And do you want to?” She looks at you expectantly, “Move on, that is.”
“I don’t even know what I would have to move on from. It’s been months since we broke up. And she didn’t care about me long before that anyways.” You let out a dry laugh, “I don’t even think she liked me. She just liked sex with me.”
The look on the redhead’s face makes you stop your ranting, “Sorry, that is not proper party conversation,” you force out a laugh, “way too depressing.”
She smiles, dragging her eyes down your torso and onto your legs then pulling them back up before landing her eyes back on your face. “How would you like to find something to drink?”
Thankful for her change in conversation, you smile slightly, “Yeah, that’d be nice.”
The two of you make your way through the house and into the kitchen, “What will it be? Beer? Vodka?” walking around the kitchen as you listen to her talk. “... Or maybe a juice box?”
Whipping your head around, you glare at the Vice President, scoffing, “I’m not a child. I can drink alcohol.”
Right after you speak, you hear someone laughing from the archway. “Oh, Wands, what a delightful surprise,” she steps further into the small kitchen, “Tell me you were able to get us this cute little thing to play.”
This makes you snap your head quickly around again. A rush of arousal runs through you when your eyes lock onto the redhead, “And who the hell are you?”
The cheshire smile on her face makes it clear she remembers you, she moves towards you before gently lifting up your hand as she bows her head to place a soft kiss on it, “To you, Madam President.”
“What the fuck.” You snatch your hand away and look towards the sparkling green eyed woman before returning your gaze in front of you.
“Oh, what a dirty mouth, I will have to clean that out.” The redhead smirks at you. Another wave of arousal hits you, gulping as you maintain eye contact, “Like you’d get the chance.”
Wanda speaks up, breaking the growing tension in the room, “Darling, wouldn’t she just be…” walking up and placing a finger under your chin, her voice dropping, “...divine?”
You shutter at her words. Eyes bouncing between the two redheads suddenly much closer to you than before. Realizing they have successfully surrounded you, your arousal spiking but you choose to mask with slight panic. “So what is this then? Two spiders trapping someone in their web and then going in for the kill?” Puffing out your chest slightly, trying to gain back some more control. “You think the President and Vice President would require consent.”
Wanda chuckles in your ear behind you, “Oh dear, we do.” Bringing her finger up to brush some hair behind your ear before speaking softly, “We only accept enthusiastic consent. Absolute begging.”
Your knees wobble slightly at her words. “A little archer told us that you needed to move on, and typically we wouldn’t do rebound sex, but you…” The President takes a sharp inhale through her teeth, “You are too special to pass up.”
“So what do you say, baby, want to be ours for the night?” Wanda whispers.
A million thoughts race through your mind. Most importantly, the fact you’ve never had a threesome or sex with people you don’t really know. You look around the kitchen and notice how nobody else even acknowledges the two redheads circling you like prey.
“I say,” You gulp, mustering all the fake confidence you can find. “I say show me a good time first and we will see.”
The two women share a sinister smile before they each drape an arm around you and walk you out of the kitchen and into a room that only stores a pool table and some chairs.
“We have the next game.” The President says to the small group finishing up their game before walking you over to the side of the room. She lowers her hands to your hips and lifts you with ease onto the barstool behind you.
Shock fills your face at her actions before you glare at her, “Excuse you. I am perfectly capable of sitting in a seat by myself.”
The redhead simply smiles at you before moving to stand next to the side of your chair, absentmindedly running fingers through your hair.
“Hello? Earth to you. Usually, when someone speaks to you it's polite to respond.” You huff and cross your arms over your chest. She gently turns your head to look at her. “Oh, come on. Don’t be like that. I’m sorry, baby. I won’t do it again.”
“Madelyn, I have a name and it’s not baby.” You scoff, “What is your name anyways?”
She winks at you before smirking, “I told you. To you, it’s Madam President.”
“That’s not a name. That’s a title. What’s your name?” Your eyes met the redhead locked in a standstill. You already know you won’t last long. Her eyes trap you in endless pools of deep green. They are powerful and unmoving, you huff, “What’s your name, Madam President?”
The President lifts her hand and holds your lower lip before pulling it down and out slightly, causing you to look through your lashes to maintain eye contact, the action making you feel as if you’re losing the last shreds of your control. The redhead presses down the slightest bit more before pinching your lip and releasing it, “Natasha.”
Wanda, who has been repeatedly running her fingers from your shoulder to the knee, leans over you slightly if only to be in your personal space, “Natty, it’s our turn now.”
You go to hop down, but yet again your hips are grabbed and you’re picked up and put down by Natasha’s hands. You give her a glare even as a blush starts covering your cheeks.
“Tsk, tsk. Don’t be like that. I would hate to have to spank that gorgeous ass for the first time surrounded by all these people.” Your blush deepens with your embarrassment at the volume the redhead spoke. The heat pooling between your legs only causes you more confusion.
The three of you walk towards the table. Natasha moves to rack the balls and Wanda takes you over to pick out a cue stick, grabbing one for Natasha as well.
It’s decided that you will be on your own team, which you tried to protest by saying you have never played a game of pool in your life, but your complaints fall on deaf ears.
Wanda starts off by breaking the balls, officially starting your unfair game. She gets a solid into a pocket, “That makes you stripes, baby.” She says in a sickeningly sweet voice before getting two more solid balls into pockets.
Standing there with your mouth open, you begin to complain, “This is so unfair. There is no way I will be able to even get close to hitting even one of these balls in!”
“Okay, okay, I’ll help you in the first round,” Wanda says, holding up her hands. She walks over to you and shows you how to bend down and how to aim your cue stick. You lean down like she showed you but still, you feel her hand press down between your shoulders as she speaks in your ear, “Like this, darling. Eyes level with your target.”
Acutely aware this position has almost completely folded in half on the pool table, you pull back the stick and then push it forward with a decent amount of force.
And you completely miss.
To make matters worse, you got one of their balls closer to the pocket instead. Groaning, you stand up and look unamused at the two redheads who are both trying to hold back their smiles at your reaction, “This game is stupid.”
Natasha comes up to the table, leans down, noticeably higher than the position Wanda moved you into. She breathes in and out, then hits the cue ball, causing it to sink a solid ball into the nearby pocket. She glances up at you, smirking, while still leaning down. Causing a completely automatic eye roll. The redhead arches her eyebrow at you before moving to a new spot. She leans down, breathes in and out, and.. misses. “HA!” You cheer as your stripe ball goes into the pocket instead of the solid ball that was next it.
You walk up to the table for your turn and glance to Wanda for her help again. Natasha subtly shakes her head, which you don’t notice since she was behind you. Wanda simply gives you a nod of her head, encouraging you to try by yourself. So you lean down and focus on which ball you’re aiming for and what pocket is your goal.
Breathing in and out a few times before pulling back your cue stick on your inhale and pushing it forward on your exhale. As the stick connects with the cue ball you feel a stinging on your ass. You immediately stand up and spin around with a glare, “Hey! That’s not fair.”
The President laughs as she looks over your head, “Well, it seemed like good luck because you got the ball in.”
Spinning around again to see if she was lying but there, clear as day, you see your stripe ball missing from the table and sitting in the pocket. “Don’t think for a second that I won't punish whiny, bratty behavior though, baby.” Natasha whispers in your ear, her front flush against your back, “Now, say thank you.”
You shiver at her words. The logical part of your brain can’t stop wondering why you should thank her for spanking you, but when you feel her hands on your hips as she pulls them closer to her own, that part of your mind goes blank. The heat between your legs grows even hotter and you let out a soft sigh before fingers hook under your chin and guide you to look up at Natasha, “Say thank you.” She softly growls.
“Thank you.” It comes out more as a pant than actual words but the redhead is pleased enough.
The rest of the game crawls by slowly as each redhead tries to work you up with innocent touches and whispered words. Your head becomes fuzzy in the best way, but even in this state you are completely aware that every other stripe ball that’s gone in is because of Wanda and Natasha simply trying to keep the game going.
With all solid and striped balls now off the table it’s down to whoever can sink the 8 ball in the game.
Wanda glances at you before smirking, “What if we make a little bet out of this?”
You can’t help but let out a dry laugh, “Are you joking? This whole thing is already a game of if you two can get me into bed.” Natasha licks her lips at your words, causing your cheeks to blush even more than they were.
The Vice President ignores your reply, “Great! So I was thinking, if we sink the 8 ball, then you give us a strip show,” you arch your eyebrow at the redhead, “and if you sink the 8 ball, then you give us a strip show.” She winks at you.
“That’s absolutely-” You're cut off by Natasha speaking, “Deal.”
“Deal?” You shriek as the two redheads shake each other's hand, “You two cannot agree on this without me also agreeing.”
They both come up to you and place a hand on your cheek, “And do, baby?” Wanda mumbles into your ear. Right after Natasha says, smirking, “Wanna make a deal?”
Your skin flushes at their voices, your mind hanging onto their every word. You slowly close your eyes and your head falls back slightly. Wanda lowers her head to breathe along your neck, occasionally brushing her tongue against it while Natasha’s fingers tangle around your hair, pulling it back.
A soft moan hits your ears, shocking you when you realize it came from you. Suddenly coming back to yourself, you lightly push off the women, clearing your throat to try and fake your control over yourself once again. “If I sink the 8 ball,” you take a deep breath, “then I decide the next time you touch me.”
Both redheads simply nod their heads in agreement before extending their arms to allow you space for your shot. Looking over the table and considering all the choices you quickly realize that you absolutely have no shot at winning. Ignoring every other reason besides the obvious one, you didn’t want to win.
But you wouldn’t make it apparent to the President and Vice President.
So you lean down, “Corner pocket.” You spend a considerable amount of time figuring out your angle and practicing the strength of your hit. With one more inhale, you pull back the cue stick then exhale and strike the cue ball.
You hit the 8 ball but it stops just short of falling into the pocket. You give a shy smile to the women before stepping back.
There’s a silent conversation going on between the redheads before Wanda nods and steps up to the table. “Corner pocket.” She winks at you before aiming at the cue ball and without any delay she strikes. The 8 ball disappearing into the corner pocket.
Without even a second to think, your feet are suddenly lifted into the air and over Natasha’s shoulder. Wanda comes up to grab the cue stick from you and places it on the pool table.
Once you realize the redhead plans to walk out of the parlor room with you over her shoulder, you begin to protest, “Wait. Wait. I can walk. You don’t have to think I’ll back out of the bet.”
You feel a soft hand brush the back of your thigh as the sparkling green eyed woman steps into your view.
“Oh, baby, we know, but Natty here is a very proud winner and wants to show you off,” her thin fingers smoothing down your hair. You stare at her dumbfounded as she swipes her thumb across your lower lip, “If you’re a good girl then we’ll give you an extra special reward. Can you do that for us?”
The Vice President allows you your time to process as you blink a few times before nodding your head.
A swift smack to your ass has you gasping as Natasha corrects your action, “Words baby.”
“Yes.” Another softer smack to your ass. “Yes, I can be a good girl.”
Both redheads make a pleased humming sound before walking out of the room. You try to avoid eye contact with all the partygoers. The blush across your face and chest only grows at your slight embarrassment.
It isn’t long until you're walking up to the stairs. Suddenly stopping right at the bottom, trying to turn your body at the sound of Kate’s voice. Mortification slams into you when she leans around the redhead holding you to look at your face.
Her tone relentlessly teasing, “Now, I thought I told you not to go upstairs with anyone,” the memory of her words at your arrival pulled to the front of your mind.
Rolling your eyes at your roommate only caused her to laugh further at your predicament.
Yelena speaking prompts the brunette to move back into the circle of conversation with her and the redheads, “Don’t kill the poor girl. It would severely ruin my chances with Bishop.”
Natasha laughs at her sister’s comment, “Please, the only thing she’ll get is mind altering pleasure,” pinching your ass when finishing the sentence. “Now, I’d love to chat, but I have a bet to cash in on.”
Wanda leading the way up the stairs, pausing as Kate speaks, looking up at your roommate, “She has a study group tomorrow morning at 10am! She can’t miss it!”
The redheads laugh, continuing up the stairs, the President turns slightly as she walks and salutes to the brunette, “Aye, aye, Captain.”
Less than fifteen steps later, you’re carried into a large room. Your heart stopping completely at the sound of the door closing and locking. As if noticing the slight pure panic, Wanda stands by the door twisting the handle, “It locks from inside, so if you twist the handle, then it’s automatically unlocked,” then she relocks the door.
Nodding your head in thanks and understanding of her words, she gives you a reassuring smile in return.
Then, Natasha lightly throws you onto the bed, a grunt leaving your lips, leaning over you, she smirks. Wanda comes up to sit beside your head and gently rubs your forehead with her thumbs.
The deep green eyed woman locks her eyes with yours before placing a soft kiss on your chest, then throwing herself to the empty side of you.
“Now, don’t keep us waiting,” you turn your head to see sparkling green eyes looking at you.
They wait a few seconds before both women have another silent conversation. Suddenly, you startle the redheads by standing up.
Standing with your hands on your hips, stilling your voice and shifting on your feet, “Well, this will be rather awkward to do in silence.”
The President smirks at you before pulling out her phone and playing ‘Supermassive Black Hole by Muse!’ from her speaker.
Slowly you begin to sway your hips and drag your fingers across your chest. Kicking your shoes off as sexually as you can. You let the song play for about twenty seconds before you lean down and run your nails up your legs stopping where your thighs meet your center.
Turning around, you hook one finger under your right strap and pull it down, staring directly into sparkling green eyes. Then, turning your head to face the other direction and repeat the action, but slower, as you look into the deep green eyes.
Your dress only stays up from pushing out your chest. You continue to dance around until you slowly sit down onto your knees. Rolling onto the ground, your head closer to the women,  arching your back as you begin to spread apart your knees. Never looking away from the redheads as your knees hit the floor. Watching as both women tighten their grips on the bed sheets.
Straightening your legs and bringing them back together, slowly using all your core strength to sit up rather than using your hands. You turn around and crawl over to the bed, standing before placing one foot on the President’s thigh.
She brings her hand up to gently hold onto your calf before digging her nails in. Biting your lip at the minimal pain before moving your hands across your chest, breathlessly Natasha speaks, “God, don’t be that much of a tease. Let Daddy see.”
Grabbing her hands, you bring them up to your chest, she squeezes before pulling down your dress exposing your breasts, strangely thanking yourself for foregoing a bra tonight.
The cool air in the room feeling amazing on your burning skin.
Lowering your foot, you walk over to the Vice President and bend how she showed you earlier during your game of pool. A loud hum of approval leaving her mouth.
Keeping your position, you gather the material at the hem of your dress and pull it over your head. Leaving Wanda staring directly at your covered center. Her finger gently travels up the inside of your thighs, never reaching the apex.
Noticing the dark patch on your light gray underwear, she speaks mockingly, “Do you want Mommy and Daddy to take care of that for you?”
A small moan slips out as you feel two different fingers suddenly press against the dark spot.
“Words, baby,” both women huskily say at the same time.
“Please, please,” you’re all but moaning.
A smack on your ass that you can tell was from Wanda by the feeling of rings soothing the sting, “Be specific, baby.”
You breathe in and out a few times before roughly swallowing, “Please, take care of me.”
The redheads, losing their lack of control, slowly decide that your answer was good enough for now, for the first time.
Natasha walks around to face you, her hands find your shoulders and makes you stand up. Wanda moves further back on the bed, removing her shirt and bra before leaning against the pillows.
Grabbing onto the President’s face, you stand on your tip toes and connect your lips to hers. She eagerly begins kissing you back, nipping at your lip. Moving her hands to your ass, smacking your ass lightly, so you’ll jump into her arms.
Continuing to kiss you as she walks to the side of the bed and places you down. Ending your kiss, a low whine comes from you. Sealing your lips quickly but both women have already heard you and have lust flashing through their eyes.
“Now, go ahead and make Mommy feel good while Daddy makes you feel good.” Nodding your head at the redhead’s directions, you turn around and crawl up the bed and between Wanda’s spread legs. She holds up her hands and guides your lips to her nipple.
Natasha begins to massage your ass and tease your slit over your underwear, soaking them further by the second.
Sucking and pulling on the Vice President’s left nipple, bringing your right hand up to roll her right nipple between your fingers. You continue this while feeling the unending teasing around your clit.
Popping off Wanda’s left nipple, you drag your tongue across her chest until you can wrap your lips around the right nipple, twirling your tongue around the nub.
On the first suck, you feel a rush of cool air hit your center as your underwear is pulled down your legs, moaning loudly at the sensation. Without even a second to spare you feel the redhead’s tongue lick up the wetness on your lips before softly pushing her tongue inside your entrance.
Your jaw slacks at the feeling, your head falls away from the needy nipples in front of you. The redhead pulls you back against her nipple, “That’s a good girl. You’re giving Mommy so much pleasure,” holding you close to feel every sound come from your lips, moans of her own filling the room.
Natasha licks her way up to your clit. Giving soft licks before wrapping her lips around your clit, humming, then pulling softly on the bundle of nerves.
Your knees start shaking at the pleasure, causing you to fall further onto Wanda.
“Oh, fuck,” you mumble around the nipple.
Bringing her fingers up to your clit, rubbing circles, “Come on, baby. You're such a good girl for us.”
Her fingers slowly push into you, curling slightly against your velvet walls. “Fuck, baby, you’re so wet. Let Daddy make you cum, alright?”
A truly unholy sound fell from your lips, clenching around Natasha’s fingers, Wanda lifts your head slightly, so you could reply, “Please, make me cum.”
Lowering her mouth back to your clit as she sucks, licks, and nips all over while her fingers continue a relentless pace. Wanda brings her own finger to your nipples and begins rolling them between her fingers. “God, everything about you, baby. Everything is perfect,” pulling at the nubs blurring the line between pain and pleasure.
“Fuck,” your voice cracking at exclamation. Shaking from the stimulation, the coil in your stomach tightens more with each second.
Wanda leans her head forward next to your ear, “Come for Mommy, baby. Come all over Daddy.”
A simultaneous pinch from the Vice President's fingers on your nipples and the President's pinch on your clit has a wave of pleasure crashing over you, a scream rips from your throat as you cum all over Natasha’s face and fingers and fall on top of Wanda.
Dragging out your orgasm not stopping until she's pulled every sound from your lips does she begin to lick up all traces of your orgasm, sitting up and moving towards the other. You look up just in time to see them share a deep kiss, each moaning at the taste of you on their tongues.
Breaking apart, deep green eyes look at you, “Do you have another one in you, baby? You came hard enough to drown me,” lust shining in her eyes.
“I’ll do whatever you want, just make me cum that hard again,” your eyes pleading.
Smirking at you, Wanda moves you to scoot down the bed, tapping your thighs. It takes a second for you to realize where she wants you, but you quickly move to hover above her face. Natasha settles between her girlfriends thighs, removing her skirt and underwear in one pull, “Now, this will be a sight to see,” lowering her mouth immediately, sucking the redhead’s clit into her mouth the way she likes.
Biting your lip at the sight, you sit down, your eyes connecting with the deep green ones between the redhead’s thighs. Allowing the Vice President to move you where she’s most comfortable. Feeling her tongue push into your entrance has you arching your back.
Natasha’s fingers move to Wanda’s clit, rubbing at a brutal pace. Below you the redhead sucks in a sharp breath. Moving to drag her teeth along your clit.
Your hips arch at the feeling, soft grunts passing from your lips, “Shit.”
Pulling you back against the redhead’s mouth, “Tsk, tsk, where do you think you’re going, baby girl?”
Rutting your hips against the face below you. Moans and pleas mumbling out of your mouth at the suction of your clit. Natasha sits up, keeping her fingers on Wanda’s clit, and leans towards you. Digging your nails into her shoulders, as she begins to leave soft bites along your chest before kissing up your neck.
Inhaling sharply as her teeth sink into your pulse point, sucking harshly on the delicate skin, “Such a dirty mouth.”
The pleasure on your clit increases, building up your orgasm quickly. Moaning as you drag your nails down the redhead’s back.
Wanda becomes sloppy underneath you, hinting at her own release coming soon. “Mommy’s getting close. Come with Mommy, baby,” Natasha mumbles against your neck, pushing you right to the edge.
Sucking your earlobe into her mouth and biting down on your soft skin, “Seeing how you ride Mommy’s face makes me wonder how well you would ride Daddy’s dick,” her words sending both you and the woman beneath you over the edge.
The Vice President slowly licks your cunt to clean you as the President drags her finger through her girlfriend’s release. Bringing them up to your mouth, “Be a good girl,” and pushing them between your lips.
A sinful moan escapes both of your lips, though for different reasons. Exhaustion riding through your body allows Natasha to gently lift you off Wanda’s face and leans you against the pillows.
Your eyelids fight too close to receive a moment of rest, quickly winning over your desire to stay conscious. Both women get off the bed walking into the en-suite and cleaning themselves up quickly, returning with a towel for you.
Noticing your sleeping form, the two exchange a look before Wanda’s soft hands spread your knees and gently clean you up.
“She’s perfect for us,” the President whispers.
“She is, but how can we convince her of that,” the Vice President whispers back.
As a plan forms in her mind, the redhead smirks, “We will just have to show her.”
Wanda throws the towel aiming for the laundry hamper, but misses, before laying down into the bed next to you. Natasha follows suit, listening to the music thrum downstairs while closing her eyes.
-
Groaning and swatting at the air when you hear the familiar sounds of a phone alarm going off.
Your messy morning hair is removed from your face, startling you into opening your eyes. Confusion flashing through you until you see two pairs so similar yet different green eyes.
“Wha-,” you begin, but are cut off.
“I would have let you sleep in more, baby, but we need to get you dressed for your study group. The last thing I need is my little sister trying to murder me for ruining her chances with the archer.”
Blinking a few times, begging for your brain to catch up, yet all your mind can think of is, “Her name is Kate.”
The redheads smile at you, “Yes, of course, we apologize,” Wanda says sincerely.
With a pat on your thigh, Natasha sits up, “Now, I don't think you want to go to your study group in that little blue dress you were wearing last night, so you can borrow something of ours.”
“No, no, it’s fine. I can just run to my dorm. I need to brush my teeth anyway, so it’s okay.” However the looks you receive fills your mind with doubt, “What time is it?”
“9:45am,” Wanda grimaces. Your jaw falls open at the realization that you will definitely not make it in time unless you go straight there. Cursing yourself for not understanding your math course better and needing to go to the study groups in the first place, with a deep breath you look up at the women, “Show me the outfit.”
Standing in the mirror you can’t complain. It was a simple pair of medium washed jeans, though slightly too long since you are shorter than both women, they have been cuffed and paired with a loose long sleeve shirt sporting their sorority name and logo. You felt a bit like a walking advertisement. The worst part, yet best part, was the sports bra Natasha gave you to wear.
Cringing as you put on your soiled underwear from the night before, you throw on your shoes and tie your hair into your best messy, not messy, bun. Hurrying down the stairs towards the front door. To your surprise, the redheads follow behind you. Thinking they must be the type to walk out guests, you say nothing.
Reaching for the door handle, you're cut off by Wanda’s ring-covered hand opening the door for you, extending her arm in an ‘after you, ladies first’ motion.
Arching an eyebrow at the action before turning to face them, “Thank you for the clothes. I’ll return them washed by the end of next week, swear,” beginning to turn back around before stopping and facing them again, whispering, “and thank you for last night too,” then rushing down the steps of the porch.
Stepping out of the doorway both women laugh before replying, “Now, that you don’t need to thank us for.” Trying to hide your blush from the redheads as you speed walk down the sorority's front lawn, checking your phone for the time, seven minutes to get there, thinking ‘I can do it’ as you break out into a run across campus.

“Baby I” - Paige Bueckers♡
summary : jealous Paige Bueckers x reader !
wc ; 897
synopsis : inspired by the song “baby i” by Ariana Grande :) Paige’s jealousy often gets in the way of your relationship, so what happens when you interact with a particularly attractive stranger?
warning : angst , suggestive content , jealousy / possessiveness
my master list ㇀♡
a/n : look at me having a posting streak !! decided to try something new today, so I hope yall enjoy ◡̈
You and Paige had been dating for not too long, but your relationship had certainly developed into one where strong feelings and emotions played a huge factor in your everyday lives.
It was no secret to you that Paige was jealous, envious even; it caused you a fair share of problems throughout your relationship. Whether it was through jealous ridden comments, or snarky remarks, it was slowly starting to take a toll on you.
You and Paige were invited to go bar hopping with the team, as a celebration of the victorious win for Uconn. The free spirited and ambient environment encouraged you to let loose, encouraging you to not only grab a drink from the bar, but to strike up a couple of conversations with individuals around you.
It’s not that Paige didn’t want you to talk to other people, it’s just that when it comes to you; she’s very, how do I word this.. Overbearing? Whether it was constantly having her hands glued to your waist, peppering your face with kisses, or shooting bitter looks and whoever even dares to be just a little too friendly.
On this particular night, a very attractive character to say the least, approached you; beginning to start a simple conversation. Asking things like your name, complimenting your outfit, and overall trying to learn more about you
From across the room, you can see the blonde staring intensely at you, giving you a disapproving look; signaling you to end the conversation. You furrowed your brows and gave her a confused look back, not understanding how the conversation was moving south in any way.
You quickly turned back around, further continuing your conversation with the stranger, when all of a sudden you feel a harsh tug on your wrist. “It was nice meeting you, but we have to go.” And just like that, there you were, being dragged out of the bar by your girlfriend. Who seemed incredibly pissed.
The drive back home was unbearable, no words were exchanged between you two. The blonde never acknowledging you on your journey back home, knuckles white due to her intense grip on the steering wheel. You couldn’t tell if she was upset, disappointed, horny, or a mix of all 3.
As soon as you reached your apartment, your nerves were eating you alive. You had no idea what was waiting for you once you reached your apartment door.
You quickly hurried inside, and situated yourself on your shared couch. Waiting for her to say something. You felt your heart pounding, unable to even form coherent words. When you realized the endless silence, you simply muttered out a “I’m..sorry?.” Paige rolled her eyes at you, scoffing in the process. “YOU’RE sorry? They were practically throwing themselves at you and all you did was stand there and let them.” You were shocked, you knew Paige could take things the wrong way, but you never imagined her of all people would think you would be the type to do that.
“Paige…” you started. “You know I love you more than anything, but you know words can’t even touch what’s in my heart,” you continued. Your eyes now spilling out tears you tried your hardest to keep in.
“Then why don’t you ever tell me?”... “I feel like I’m constantly competing with others for your attention” This statement startled you, as you knew Paige was well aware of your difficulty to express yourself, let alone reassure others. Fuck. Oh how badly you wished the floor underneath you would simply collapse, giving you any sort of escape from the high tensioned conversation.
You felt as if you were to speak, your throat would simply close up. You managed to croak out.. “It’s just when I try to explain it, I be sounding insane. Sometimes it feels like the words don’t ever come out right.” She looks at you, her gaze softening a bit; as a reaction to your sudden vulnerability.
“It’s just I don’t know…the words just never come out right when it comes to you. You make me get all tongue tied and twisted, and I literally cannot explain what I’m feeling.” “Baby-” “No.” - you cut her off. Quickly feeling a rush of adrenaline run through you. “Yes, I should’ve been more clear and work on my communication, but you need to realize that not everyone is trying to sabotage our relationship. It’s exhausting. I can’t keep isolating myself due to your jealous fits of rage.”
Paige looks at you, tears welling in her eyes, threatening to spill out if she even mumbles out a word. She muttered a quiet “im sorry…”, her voice cracking at the last word, her eyes glued to the floor as she anticipated your response.
As if she were a magnet, you run towards her and wrap your arms around her tall frame, gently rubbing circles into your back as sobs slowly escape her lips. This entire thing had been a complete misunderstanding, and her jealousy blinded her judgment. Through her weeps you were able to make out “i love you. All i was trying to say is that youre my everything and-”
She wasnt even able to finish her sentence as she felt your warm lips on hers, entangling her in a deep and loving kiss. “If that doesnt show you that i love you, i dont know what will”
not sure how to feel about this tbh, originally i was gonna give this a sad ending but since the song is a love song, it didn’t feel fitting. Lmk ur thoughts !! Thanks for reading ◡̈

Night In
Tumblr media
Summary: You and your best friend Noah have a criminal minds marathon night, but he seems to be having a hard time focusing.
Warning: smut. Pure filth. Dom!Noah, fingering. Swearing.
A/N: best friend Noah has me in a fucking choke hold. SOMEBODY SEDATE ME!!!🤪 it’s literally 2AM and this scenario popped into my head. I had to get it out before I went to sleep, because I definitely would have forgotten it by the time I woke up. Please enjoy. Let me know what you think 😉❤️
The sound of the water cascading down the tiled walls enveloped the bathroom like a warm hug, steam rising to blur the edges of the world outside the small sanctuary. I sighed contentedly, enjoying the solitude after a hectic day of work. The rhythm of the water was soothing, and I closed my eyes, allowing my mind to drift.
“Hey, Noah!” I called out, leaning my head back into the cascading water. “Can you come in here for a sec?” I heard his footsteps approach, the familiar creak of the bathroom door creaking open, punctuating the hush of the steam-filled room. “What’s up?” he asked, his voice smooth as it always was.
“Are you down for a Criminal Minds marathon tonight?” I asked, grinning to myself. It had quickly become a ritual of ours, binging on crime dramas and rolling our eyes at the absurdities of the plotlines while eating popcorn and drinking a few. “Yeah I’m down,” his voice had a slight edge to it, like he was only half-listening. I peeked through the steamed up glass, briefly catching a glimpse of him leaning against the doorframe, arms crossed, looking especially relaxed in his faded gray t-shirt.
“Great! I can’t wait to see The way you squirm at the creepy parts. It’s priceless,” I teased, letting out a laugh. Noah chuckled, but there was something else behind that laugh—a lingering silence that felt heavy in the air. I glanced over, curiosity piqued, and noticed he was staring, his gaze fixed on the glass shower walls where steam mingled with droplets of water.
“Hey, you okay?” I asked, playfully splashing water in his direction. He blinked, suddenly like a deer caught in headlights, the blush creeping up to his cheeks evident even from where I stood. “ yeah, just… can we talk when you get out? I’m literally getting hard watching you shower right now.” he admitted, bluntly. Scratching his head, his eyes darting away, though they lingered a heartbeat longer than necessary.
The realization of what he’d said hung between us, thick and charged. My heart raced, a cocktail of embarrassment and exhilaration flooding through me. “Oh,” I said, my voice barely above a whisper, the steam turning us both a little breathless.
“Sorry, it’s kind of hard not to,” he laughed. “You know, the fog and you look a little too good.” He smirked.
“Thanks?” I said, unsure of how to respond, a nervous laugh escaping me. He turned away, but not before I caught the evidence of his arousal pressing against his jeans. The tension shifted, electrifying the air around us, and I couldn't help but feel a spark of excitement there too, blurring the lines we’d always kept between us.
“Okay, I’ll be quick,” I assured him, suddenly hyper-aware of my own body and the droplets that clung to my skin. It felt like we had crossed an invisible threshold, yet neither of us was ready to acknowledge it just yet.
“Take your time,” he said teasingly, as he turned to walk out, pausing at the door. “But unless you want to be the one who has to explain why I’m walking around with a boner, I’d suggest you hurry.”
As the door clicked shut, I couldn’t help but laugh, a blend of nerves and something else bubbling beneath the surface. After rinsing away the day's fatigue, I stepped out, the warmth of steam swirling around me as I wrapped a towel snugly around myself. I glanced around, ensuring I was alone, a smile creeping onto my face at the thought of having the house to myself with Noah.
I rummaged through the pile of clean clothes thrown haphazardly on the counter and pulled out one of Noah's oversized t-shirts. It fell delightfully to my mid-thigh, the fabric soft and comforting against my damp skin. As I slid on a pair of underwear, I took a moment to admire my reflection in the mirror, feeling a sense of warmth at how casually sexy the ensemble was.
When I emerged from the bathroom, a wave of confidence washed over me. I found Noah lounging on the couch, the glow of the television illuminating his features as he flipped through the streaming options, searching for our show. His eyes flickered to me, and for a brief second, he froze, his brows raised in surprise before a smirk broke across his face.
“Nice shirt,” he teased, his gaze lingering on me, undeniably captivated.
I smirked back, walking over to where he sat. I could feel the weight of his attention on me as I settled down beside him, nestling into the cushions of the couch. The familiar opening credits of Criminal Minds began to play, and I grabbed the remote, easing into the comfort of the moment.
Noah’s laugh was warm, drowning out the eerie music of the show, and my heart soared as he pulled me closer, wrapping an arm around me. As the episode unfolded, I couldn’t shake the sensation of being completely at ease, my worries melting away like snow under the spring sun.
An hour passed, and I felt a subtle shift in the atmosphere as I found myself feeling sleepy. I shifted slightly, laying my head on Noah’s lap. His fingers instinctively began to run through my hair, a gentle and rhythmic massage that made me sigh contentedly.
The show continued in the background, but my focus blurred with every gentle stroke of his hand. It was surreal how strangely intimate we were being. We’ve always been pretty affectionate with each other, but this felt different. His touch sent a tingle down my spine, every movement igniting a sense of want that hung between us, unspoken yet palpable.
Noah looked down at me, his expression softening. “You know, you look really cute in my shirt,” he murmured, a hint of mischief dancing in his voice.
I smiled, meeting his gaze. “Maybe I should wear it more then,” I teased, running my fingers along the hem of the fabric as if weighing the option.
His laughter rumbled through his chest, and I could see the way his eyes sparkled. “Good. It looks better on you anyways.”
I chuckled softly, shifting to get more comfortable, feeling the warmth radiating from him. The room was dimly lit, the soft glow of the television casting playful shadows across the walls. The warmth of Noah's body provided comfort as I lay on the couch, my head resting on his lap while we both immersed ourselves in the latest episode of our favorite show. The world outside felt miles away, and for this moment, everything else faded into the background.
As his fingers tangled gently in my hair, an intimate motion that sent pleasant shivers down my spine. I closed my eyes, relishing the way his fingers moved. His fingers suddenly began tracing a path from my hair down my side. The sensation was feather-light, almost teasing, until they reached my hip. I held my breath as his fingers played with the edge of my underwear, a trail of heat left in their wake.
My heart raced at his touch. I couldn't help but subtly squeeze my thighs together, a simple reaction, but one that betrayed the flutter in my stomach. I felt the tension between us crackle like static electricity in the air.
"Y/n" his voice a soft whisper, breaking the spell for a moment. My name rolled off his tongue like honey, sweet and addictive. I rolled onto my back, gazing up at him, my head nestled comfortably against his thighs, practically blinded by the sheer intensity of his gaze.
He stole a glance at my bare thighs, a fleeting moment that made me feel exposed yet thrillingly alive. "What's wrong?" he asked, his brow slightly furrowing as if he was clueless at what he was doing.
I looked away, heat pooling in my cheeks blushing, perhaps, in both embarrassment and excitement. How could he be so nonchalant about this? His hand found its way up my stomach, slowly inching beneath my shirt, and I stifled a gasp, the softness of his touch causing the world around us to blur.
"Nothing," I murmured, though my voice was barely a whisper, betraying the whirlwind of emotions brewing inside me.
"Come on," he coaxed, his fingertips dancing just below the hem of my shirt. "What is it?"
A soft whine slipped from my lips without my permission, the weight of his teasing hanging heavily in the air between us. "You’re teasing me," I whimpered, frustration mingled with desire.
He chuckled softly, the sound vibrating in the quiet room, both comforting and maddening. "I’m not teasing...." The playful glint in his eye, combined with the authoritative way he pressed his finger over the front of my underwear, sent sparks through my core.
“What if I like it?” I blurted, the honesty spilling out before I could reel it back in.
His expression shifted, surprise giving way to something deeper as he leaned down closer, the air between us thick with unspoken words, and for the first time, I sensed that this moment was filled with endless possibilities .
With his finger still teasing me, he smirked, his warm breath ghosting over my face.“Then I won’t stop.”
Everything around us faded into silence, the television now just a distant hum.
His hand slid under my head, lifting it up slightly, as he leaned down capturing my lips into a heated kiss and it felt as if time slowed. The evening sunset filtered through the curtains, casting a soft orange glow over the living room. I was nestled comfortably on the couch, my head resting gently on Noah's lap. The hum of the world outside felt distant, as if time had slowed just for us. I could hear the steady beat of his heart, echoing the warmth that enveloped me.
His lips were warm and inviting, enveloping mine as if they were made for each other. I surrendered completely, allowing his tongue to glide against mine. It was an intoxicating rhythm that drew me deeper into the moment. I could barely catch my breath as his fingers swept under the hem of my panties, teasingly slow, until they found their way to my core.
I gasped against his mouth, breathless and desperate. My thighs instinctively fell open, making room for his hand, craving more. I whimpered his name, a plea wrapped in desire.
“What is it baby?” he murmured against my lips, his voice low and husky, igniting a spark of anticipation within me.
The teasing question sent my heart racing. I could sense the care behind his touch, but the intensity of the moment was almost overwhelming. In that instant, I wanted to drown in him, to abandon all reservations. I pulled back slightly, meeting his gaze. He looked at me, a mixture of curiosity and longing in his eyes.
“I just... I want you,” I confessed, my voice barely above a whisper. It felt liberating to admit it, to articulate the pounding desire that coursed through my veins.
He smiled, a teasing glint in his eyes, and his fingers continued their gentle exploration, igniting a fire that smoldered just beneath the surface. “You have me,” he assured me, his voice rich with promise.
With newfound confidence, I leaned into him, pressing my lips back to his, craving the connection that was building between us. His fingers continued their teasing, each touch sending ripples of pleasure spiraling through me, coaxing out soft gasps that mingled with our kisses.
His tongue licked into my mouth, tasting me. I knew we were stepping over an invisible threshold, reaching for something deeper, but I was ready for it. As his fingers stroked through my soaked folds, he finally sank two of them into me. He pumped his fingers slowly in and out, as I softly ground my hips against them.
His eyes left my face, focusing on his fingers now coated in my arousal, slowly disappearing over and over into me. His other hand left the back of my head, pulling my shirt up above my breasts letting them free. My nipples instantly hardened as the cool air hit them. Noah’s eyes raked up my body, until they landed on my heaving chest.
His big tattooed hand, groped my tits squeezing them , and rolling my nipples between his fingers. I groaned, slowly losing my mind. “You’re so fucking beautiful baby….your pussy is so fucking wet.” As soon as those words left his mouth, his fingers sped up. He crooked them up, hitting that spongy spot, as more pleasure bursts through me.
I gasped and whined, as his palm hit my sensitive clit over and over. “Noah please.” I begged, sounding breathless. “Please what baby? What do you need?” He asked, his voice soft but mocking. “I- I need to cum.” I stammered, as my end was nearing. His bottom lip disappeared behind his teeth, as his bit hard before speaking.
“Then cum y/n, cum on my fingers.” He groaned, trying so hard not to lose control. Without another word, I moaned out my hips stuttering against his fingers, as they fucked me through my orgasm. He removed his fingers, and pulled me upright, his eyes meeting mine with such an intensity that sent shivers down my spine.
“Come here,” he murmured, his voice a low growl that resonated deep within my throbbing core. I complied, eager yet shy, straddling his hips as I felt the heat radiating from his body. My face instinctively buried into the crook of his neck. The familiar scent of him—a mix of musk and something distinctly Noah—wrapped around me like a warm blanket, grounding and intoxicating at once.
His large hands gripped my hips firmly, guiding my movements as I instinctively began to grind against him. I could feel his hard dick pressing against me, igniting a deep fire within. He was huge. I whined softly, the sound muffled as I nuzzled deeper into his skin, desperate for more of this moment, more of him.
“Noah…” I breathed, feeling both exhilarated and vulnerable. He pulled my head back gently, his large hand wrapping around my throat in a possessive grip that both thrilled and terrified me. His eyes bore into mine, dark with desire and something deeper I couldn't quite place.
“Fucking look at me,” he said, his voice almost a growl, and full of command. His hips softly bucked up against mine, the material of his sweat shorts causing a delicious friction against my sensitive core. I met his gaze, my heart racing, captivated by the raw intensity of the moment.
And then, without warning, he closed the distance, capturing my lips in another heated kiss. It was a collision of want and urgency, igniting every nerve ending in my body.
His hips thrust upward again, drawing me closer, forcing my core against his in a way that sent waves of pleasure coursing through me. I moaned into his mouth, lost in the rhythmic grind of our bodies, the world outside completely forgotten. All that existed was him, me, and this intoxicating connection that burned brightly between us.
He pulled away, grabbing the hem of my shirt, and pulling it off swiftly. His eyes landed on my tits. His face dropped to my chest, teasing both of my nipples with his lips. My hands flew to the back of his head, gripping his short hair tightly.
He pulled back, wasting no time releasing his hard dick from his shorts with a soft sigh of relief. I almost drooled at the sight. He was definitely huge, and so so beautiful. The tip was bright red, already leaking. He must’ve seen the slight hesitation in my eyes, as his hand cupped my cheek, bringing my eyes up to his.
“You’re gonna take it right baby? And you’re gonna ride me, until I cum in that pretty little pussy right?” He groaned, his gazing burning into mine. The butterflies in my stomach were going wild with this new dominant side coming out of him. I nodded my head quickly, practically begging for it.
He shook his head at my lack of words. His hand now cupping my jaw, pulled me into him closer. “Say it.” He growled. Not moving until I spoke. I whined, my hips grinding harder against him. “Yes sir.” He smirked at my reply, pecking my lips softly. “Good fucking girl.”
He gripped my hips, pulling me up to hover over his dick. I gasped, as soon as the tip entered my core. It already felt amazing. He slowly pulled my hips down, further and further until he was completely bottomed out inside of me. “That’s it baby, just like that.” He moaned, pausing to let me adjust.
Before I knew it, his hips thrusted up, making me see stars. “Ohhh fuck Noah.” I whimpered, gripping his shoulders tight. He thrusted up again, his hips going at a steady fast pace as I bounced on his lap. “Fuck baby, you feel so good.” He moaned breathlessly.
He grabbed my hands, pulling them down, and forcing them back and crossing them behind me, as he held them together with one hand, he guided my hips with the other. My chest fell against his, as I gasped and moaned into his neck. His thrusts were hard, and fast. Almost knocking the breath from my lungs.
The hand holding my wrists tightened, as he bit down on my shoulder. “Noah fuck, please I’m gonna cum.” I groaned, as his hips sped up even faster. “Do it baby, please. Be a good girl and cum on my cock.” He panted, into my neck. That was all it took, my pussy instantly tightening around him, as I came for a second time.
I pulled my face from his neck, attacking his lips in a feral kiss. His thrusts became sloppy, as he finally came. His grip on my wrist tightened, the pain of it not even registering as I was too lost in the pleasure. He continued thrusting slowly as he fucked himself through it. His lips never leaving mine.
After a few short moments, he released me. Bringing my wrists to his lips kissing them gently. “I’m so sorry if I was too rough.” He whispered, against my skin before finally looking into my eyes. I smiled sweetly, cupping his cheeks. “I loved every fucking second of it.” He grinned, pressing his lips to mine, in a sweet kiss. “Me too.”

Pairing: Miguel O'Hara x GN!Reader
Summary: Some nights you just can't seem to sleep no matter how hard you try, it's alright though because Miguel's on his way home.
Warnings: None, it's just very, very soft.
A/N: Not a request, but I have to write at least one fic about dancing in the middle of the night with Miguel. Set in the same universe as What's In Between, listen to the song mentioned here. Enjoy!
Everyone has those nights where they just can’t fall asleep. Whether it’d be the stresses of the day before or the next, an issue that has been troubling you, or simply because you can’t shut off your mind and fall asleep, it inevitably happens to us all.
Unfortunately for you, that was tonight. After tossing and turning for the last two hours, you had enough.
Maybe it was because the bed just felt so empty without Miguel in it, who knows.
All you knew was that you could not fall asleep. So what better thing to do than to make a late-night snack?
Sliding out of bed, you blearily blink your eyes as they readjust to the kitchen light. After a few moments of scrolling through your playlists you settle on a soft one, to match the mood of the early morning (or late night depending on who you asked).
The music played softly in the background as you made your favourite snack, humming along to the song. Miguel’s shirt hung loosely down your frame as a warm summer breeze floated in through the open window.
The reason you loved the night so much was because it was so quiet. So simple, so peaceful, with only the light of the moon shining its way.
“One day, I will stop falling in love with you~” you sing softly, swaying from side to side in between bites, a happy little smile on your face.
Miguel watched as you swayed gently from side to side, a soft look on his face as he feel himself relax with your presence alone.
He still wore his Spiderman suit, the aches of a difficult mission starting to settle in his bones but he seemed to forget all of that the moment he saw you.
“Until then I’ll drink my coffee, eat my pie pretend that we are more than friends~,” you sing, swirling around as you feel that familiar prickle giving away his presence.
His eyes seem to widen slightly as you acknowledge him before a small smile settles on his face.
“Then of course I’ll let you break my heart again,” you say, making your way up to him as the smile on your face mirrors his own.
“Dance with me?” you ask him, holding out a hand for him to grasp. He only shakes his head.
“Mi alma, you know I’m not much of a dancer,” he replies but eyes your hand for a moment.
“Oh, c’mon Miguel,” you plead, a hand held out waiting for him to hold it. “Just one dance?” And even though he tried his hardest, he just couldn’t resist the look in your eyes.
“Alright, but just one,” he says, grasping your hand warmly before pulling you close, wrapping his arms around your waist. Your expression lights up as he does, and you wrap your arms around his neck, pressing a kiss to his chin.
He can’t help the smile that plays across his face, his heart growing so warm in fondness.
The longer he holds you in his arms, the more he can feel his body relax within your embrace as you sway from side to side with the slow melody.
Being a protector of the multiverses, he didn’t have time to be soft. Not when the decisions he made, when the decisions all the spiders had to make under his direction would destroy that softness in an instant….But with you, he could afford that vulnerability, because he knew you would hold the frail wounded heart hidden behind the walls he built gently.
He reserved that softness for you, only you.
“Someday, one day,” you continue to sing, and he lets your voice wash over him like a calm ocean wave. “I will stop falling in love with you.”
He lifts an arm up from your waist for a moment, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear.
“I don’t think I ever could, querida,” he whispers softly. “Stop falling in love with you, I mean.”
You look up at him, unable to stop the tears from welling in your eyes at the admission but he wipes them away before they could fall.
“I don’t think I could either,” you say softly before leaning your head back on his chest, listening to the steady thump of his heart. “You’re stuck with me, unfortunately,” you chuckle, but he only pulls you closer.
“How are you feeling?” you ask hesitantly, noticing how he looked more tired than usual. You knew it was a 50/50 tossup as to whether he would answer in truth, but you knew he appreciated the thought.
It wasn’t often he allowed himself to be vulnerable, truly vulnerable with you. To spill all those thoughts swirling in the beautiful chaos that was his mind. That strong front he put up was the only thing that held him together.
“I’m alright, mi corazón,” he answers, though his eyes held the depth of a thousand words.
He was tired…but he was home.

very specific but logan x rockstar/metalhead m!reader? just some tall lanky dude w long hair, band tees and leather jackets 🥲 maybe logan teasing them ab the bands he's seen in his 200 years of living lmao
I didn’t really put any details about the reader being tall and with long hair to keep it netrual, but I did write about how they liked to wear band shirts. I hope you still like it :)
“No band t-shirt?” Logan asks mockingly across the table with a smirk.
“We’re on a date, Logan,” you respond, rolling your eyes. You actually wanted to dress up for once and get out of the same old clothes you wore nearly on a daily basis. It’s why you picked going to a fancier place to eat than the bars and diners you both were used to.
You feel his foot graze your calf, “you know I don’t care what you wear,” he says, laughing when you pull your foot away and scoot back in your chair.
You let out a huff, trying not to get flustered from the touch. “I just needed one night without the comments,” you grumble under your breath, already knowing that Logan could hear what you said with his enhanced senses.
The smirk falls from his face, “comments?” He asks, brows pulled down “what comments?”
“You know,” you answer, deadpan.
”I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Logan responds, still confused.
You flash a smile at the waiter when they bring your drinks over, Logan momentarily looking happy as he does the same before his face falls again when they walk away.
“Every shirt I wear, you always say the same thing.”
Logan lets out a quick laugh, looking offended, “I do not-” he begins, but you cut him off.
“I knew them when they started,” you quote, “we go way back,” you say, again, with an eye roll.
“I can’t help that I know a lot of people,” he says as he lifts his drink and takes a sip, “when you’ve-”
”Lived as long as I have,” you respond, cutting him off again, “I know.”
”Want me to just shred up your shirts?” Logan asks as he sets his glass down hard enough that the table shakes.
You glance down at his knuckles, seeing that his claws are peaking through the skin. Logan does the same and looks apologetic as he quickly puts his hands in his lap away from you and anyone else in the restaurant to see.
“So I can walk around shirtless?” You ask him as you raise your glass to sip your drink.
Logan’s brows pull down once more before moments later his face lights up, “wait,” he says, his face looking like he just made a brilliant discovery that would put Beast to shame, “that’s a good idea.”
Now it’s your turn to set the drink down much too hard for the setting you’re in, and of course, your waiter chooses now to come back.
”Are we ready to order?” He asks, smiling like he’s trying not to acknowledge the situation he just entered in on.
-
This request made me think of this meme, it’s how I imagine the reader would look as Logan would talk about how he knew the bands on his shirts.

You’ve never been an optimist. Ever since you can remember, you’ve had a glass half empty view of the world. There’s no specific reason why, that’s just how you are. Which is why if someone told you you’d be working with crime fighting vigilantes, you would’ve laughed in their face.
People are bad. That’s what you’ve learned so far in your 40 years of life. People are bad and there’s no saving them. “That doesn’t mean we can’t save the good ones from the bad.” He had said. “What good ones?” You asked, but the more you thought about it, the more you understood what he meant.
That’s how you found yourself working with the bat. Or more specifically, the bat boys. Mostly Dick and Jason though.
Mostly Jason.
You tried not to think too hard about that. When you first met, you just clicked. His energy was a near perfect match for yours. That’s not to say you don’t like the other bat boys… Jason’s just different. He’s Jason.
“So you like- drink people’s blood? Or…” That was the first thing he said to you.
“I try not to. But stealing blood bags is a hassle and I love animals too much to do that. I mostly try to hold off for as long as possible so I don’t have to feed as often. That makes me weaker though.” And Bruce couldn't have a weak vigilante underling, so he arranged for you to have a fully stocked fridge of blood bags. You didn’t ask where or how he got them. You can get anything if you have enough money.
“How old are you?” You didn’t mind his curiosity, it’s a natural reaction. After all, it's not everyday people meet a vampire. But you’ve always hated this question in particular. It’s embarrassing. When people think of vampires they think of 100+ year olds. Not someone who’s literally younger than their parents.
“40.”
“How old were you when you turned?”
“20.”
Another reason you and Jason click so well is because of shared trauma. Kind of… You both died. His death was a lot worse than yours and at least you came out of it with abilities, rather than enhancements, but it was nice finally knowing someone who gets it. Most people can’t fathom what it would be like to die and come back to life so they don’t understand how bad it can actually be.
And then there was the flirting. It was less flirting and more just him driving you up the wall to be honest. But either way you loved it. You’d never tell him that though.
It started with more casual jokes like “Are those fangs or are you just happy to see me” and asking if you wanted to “get a bite to eat.” But obviously, because it’s Jason, the more comfortable you got with each other, the more sexual they became.
“What kind of sex do vampires like?” He was trying to hide his smirk and you just rolled your eyes, not acknowledging him. “Vein-illa.” You scoffed and his smirk widened. “What, you don’t like it?”
“No, Jason. I don’t. You’re not funny.” You feigned seriousness but you knew he knew you didn’t mean it.
Another time, he walked into the living room where you were sitting, sipping on a blood bag and reading a book. He sat down next to you and you could feel his eyes on you.
“Is it true what they say about lady vampires?” He asked and you raised your brows as you looked at him with a deadpan expression. “That they really know how to suck.”
Rolling your eyes, you muttered, “Bite me.” Which instantly proved to be a mistake as it gave him another way to tease you.
“I thought that was your thing?” He smirked and you considered moving your foot to kick him in the head. “Come on, don’t be such a sucker. It’s just a joke.”
“Jason,” Your voice was eerily calm, “if you say one more vampire pun, I will rip your throat out so you can’t talk anymore.”
“Not even just one more? To really hit the nail on the coffin.” You slammed your book shut and glared at him as you stood up.
“Come on, babe. I’m just teasing.” He smirked and you started walking away, but he grabbed your wrist and yanked you backwards, making you fall on top of him with your back pressed to his front. “Don’t be mad. Please?” He said lowly, against your ear, making you shiver.
“You’re so annoying, you know that?” You mumbled, settling into your position. He let out a low chuckle and moved his hands to run up and down your thighs.
“Yeah but you love it.”
“Do I now?” Against your will, your voice was turning breathless because of the prolonged proximity.
“Oh definitely.” His hands gravitated toward your inner thighs, but he kept up the motions. “Just like you love me. It was love at first bite.” You groaned in annoyance and moved to stand, but his grip on your thighs tightened and he pulled you back onto his lap.
“Jason,” You warned, trying to sound threatening, “if you don’t let me go, I will rip your throat out.”
“Why? You don’t like being in my lap?” He teased and you huffed.
“No.” You gritted, trying to ignore the way you could smell his arousal and how that made you want to grind your ass back against his dick.
“I think you’re lying, babe.”
“Stop calling me babe. That’s like the worst pet name you could pick.”
Only a week later, you were standing in front of the fridge as you chugged a blood bag. You didn’t really need one yesterday, but today you did so much training that you felt like you were going to collapse any second now.
“I'll let you suck me dry.” You could hear the smirk in his voice as he walked in.
“Shut up.” You muttered, just barely pulling away long enough to get the words out. He chuckled and moved toward you, making you step back the closer he got. When you hit the counter, he placed both hands on either side of your body, caging you in.
You finally finished the blood bag and pulled it away from your mouth, wiping the blood that had dripped onto your bottom lip. When you looked up at him, you found his gaze on your lips for only a second before it moved up to your eyes.
“That’s not very nice, princess. I’m just making a proposal, no need to be so rude.” He said, making you raise your brows.
“A proposal? To what, suck your dick? Hard pass.” You scoffed and tried to push past him, but his grip was unmoving on the counter. You could move him… technically. But… you’re enjoying the game.
“That’s exactly what I’m proposing.” He grinned, making you roll your eyes.
“And why would I do that?” Your confidence never wavered, even as your cheeks started to grow warm.
“Because you like sucking. It’s not all that different, really.”
“No?”
“Nope.”
“What, so anyone who drinks with a straw automatically likes sucking dick? How do you even know I’m not lesbian.” That made him chuckle lowly.
“Princess, you’re not lesbian.” He condescended
“Fuck off.” You groaned, pushing his chest lightly. He retaliated by moving his body forward until he was completely flush against you.
“One of these days I’m gonna fuck that attitude right out of you.” He growled and you swallowed thickly as you watched his eyes darken.
“I’d like to see you try.” You said through a breath.
“I’m sure I will soon.” He smirked, then just walked away from you.
“Do you even like the blood bags?”
“I don’t know how to explain it. They’re not bad… they’re just- it’s like a freshly made pizza versus reheated pizza, you know?”
“Do you want the fresh stuff?”
“Obviously,” You laughed dryly, “but the first and only time I did that, I killed them. So it’s not worth it.” You tried not to focus too much on the memory.
“What if you drank from me?” Your eyes widened as you replayed his words in your head, making sure you heard him right.
“What? No- did you not hear what I just said?”
“You won’t kill me.” He scoffed a laugh and you just stared at him.
“Jason, I’m serious. I can’t control it. And plus, it’s… a lot more- um… erotic, than media makes it out to be.”
“Even better.” His lips curled into a smirk and you felt your cheeks grow warm.
“I still can’t control myself.”
“I think you can. You need to give yourself more credit. What were the circumstances of the last time you drank from someone?”
“It was a few hours after I… woke up, so to speak.”
“That’s completely different. You were starving and barely even knew what was happening. You had a blood bag yesterday and have spent 20 years controlling yourself. Here, I’ll prove it.”
“What?” Before you even finished asking, he was taking a small knife out of his pants. “What are you doing?” You asked nervously, watching as the knife flipped open and he presented his arm.
“Relax, babe.” He brought the blade down to his arm and you stiffened.
“Jason, don’t-“ You cut yourself off with a sharp breath when the scent immediately engulfed you. He removed the knife and you watched a drop of red trail down his arm.
You could feel yourself turning- your eyes changing color and fangs coming out. You squeezed your eyes shut and dug your nails into the palms of your hands.
“Jason…” Your voice was a strained whisper, then you felt his thumb on your lips. Your eyes snapped open as your chest heaved at the scent of his blood right in front of your face.
“It’s okay.” He said quietly, his gaze moving between your eyes and mouth. You couldn’t help it anymore when your lips closed around the digit. Letting out a low groan, your eyes fluttered shut as you sucked his thumb into your mouth more, careful to avoid your fangs.
“How’re you feeling?” His voice broke you from your haze and he removed his thumb, making you whimper.
“More.” You whined, reaching for his arm. He let you take it and watched as your mouth closed around the small cut.
You’d forgotten what fresh blood tastes like. It’s like a cold glass of water when you wake up in the middle of the night. Or a dessert that’s so good, it makes it feel like your mouth it’s having an orgasm.
Your grip on his arm tightened considerably and distantly you heard him wince but he didn’t pull away. The cut was small enough that the amount of blood you got was basically like a shot. And you wanted a full glass.
Your fangs grazed his skin as you panted, getting ready for more. But before you could bite, his free hand grabbed a fistful of hair and he roughly pulled your head away. You whined and sat up on your knees as you tried moving his arm to your mouth but he just tightened his grip and pulled your head back until you were almost looking at the ceiling.
“Please.” If you weren’t so blood drunk, you would've been embarrassed about how whiny your voice sounds. He said your name in a warning and you finally looked at his eyes. The color was almost completely gone because of how dilated his pupils were.
“Don’t be greedy.” The way he reprimanded you was infantilizing. But god if it didn’t make you even needier.
“I need more.” You whimpered. Your mouth was still watering as you panted, desperate to get your mouth back on him. “Please, Jay. You taste so good, please I- I need more.”
“What did I just say?” You let out a choked sob as your hunger rivaled your need for his praise and approval.
“I- I promise I won’t take too much. Just- I just… please.” You cried, practically on top of him now. He removed his hand from your hair and helped you settle on his lap, then placed it on your neck. Your head felt even lighter as he tightened his grip and you couldn’t deny that not only were you drunk on blood but you were drunk on him too.
“Baby… Look at you. So fucking desperate for just a drop. I bet you’d do anything for it, wouldn’t you?” He cooed, the condescending tone flying right over your head. You nodded eagerly and he let out a low chuckle.
“You poor thing. If only there was something I wanted in return…” He pretended to think and you whined once you caught on to what he meant.
“I’ll- I’ll do it.”
“Don’t just say that because you want more blood.”
“No I- I want to. I have wanted to.” His smirk returned.
“Yeah? You were just playing hard to get, is that it?” You hummed in agreement and nodded.
“God I want to so bad.” You groaned. “I can- I can smell you and it’s making me so fucking wet.”
“The smell of my blood makes you wet?” He was teasing you, but there was still a hint of surprise in his voice.
“No- no… I can smell how-“ You let out an embarrassed whine and closed your eyes.
“Tell me, baby.”
“I can smell how turned on you are. And it’s driving me fucking crazy— I can barely think.” He stiffened and you opened your eyes to find him looking at you in shock with pink cheeks.
“Have you always been able to smell that?” He asked quietly and you bit your lip as you nodded.
“It always smells so fucking good. You smell good normally but that just— god I think it’s my favorite scent.” You don’t know why you’re saying all of this. You’d normally be too shy, but something is just making you want to confess everything to him.
“That’s so fucking hot.” He groaned, closing his eyes and throwing his head back. The sight of his neck bared to you made your hips buck forward into his as your mouth watered and your mind went blank. He opened his eyes to find your gaze on his neck and you watched as he swallowed thickly. You could practically hear the blood rushing through his veins.
“You look like you want to eat me.” He chuckled nervously.
“I do.” You whispered, bringing your hand up to drag a finger over his pulse. His breathing grew heavier the longer he watched you. When you subconsciously started leaning toward him, his hand tightened on your neck and he pushed you back a little.
You could overpower him. You know you could. Sure he’s a far better fighter than you, but you’re ten times stronger than he is. When you looked into his eyes though, all fight just evaporated from your body. The only thing you wanted was him. In any form you could have him.
You slowly started moving your hips, grinding your cunt on his length over the far too many layers of clothing. He let out a low groan and took his bottom lip between his teeth as he eyed you.
“What do you wanna suck first?” He gruffed, bringing both hands to your hips to guide your movements.
“I don’t know if I’ll be able to get rid of the fangs in my current state to be honest.” You said through a breath, placing your hands on his shoulders and grinding harder against him as you grew more desperate. “It might be better to do that last anyway cause I wasn’t lying when I said blood drinking is more erotic than what everyone thinks.”
“Okay, princess. Have at it.” He leaned his head back on the couch, baring his throat to you.
“You have to stop me though. I don’t want to take too much.” Despite your desperation, you were still terrified of killing him. He agreed and you slowly moved forward. The closer you got, the stronger the scent became. When your nose brushed the delicate skin, you inhaled deeply and closed your eyes. His grip tightened on your hips and his already fast heart rate increased slightly.
“Your heart’s beating really fast.” You whispered, trying to hold off at least until he replied.
“That’s kind of what happens when I have a hot girl on my lap breathing against my neck.” He chuckled breathlessly, but abruptly cut off with a sharp inhale when your fangs brushed his throat.
Your patience finally ran out and you tried to be as gentle as possible when you bit him, but the second the blood rushed into your mouth, all thoughts of that disappeared. You felt the vibrations against your lips as he let out a deep moan when your teeth pierced his skin. You started sucking now and his grip turned bruising on your hips, but after only a second or two, he thrusted up, meeting your movements halfway.
You whimpered at the constant grinding of his bulge against your clit and the taste of him. God you wanted to taste him forever.
“Fuck…” He said through a moan. You snaked a hand up to his hair and gripped it tightly, holding him against your mouth- not that he was trying to move away.
“God- I feel like I’m about to come.” He whined. By now, he was basically using your body to get himself off, you weren’t moving your hips on your own at all anymore. You moaned in acknowledgement but never removed your mouth, wanting to get as much as he’d let you have.
“Fuck- princess, I’m gonna come if you don’t stop.” While a distant part of you wanted him to come in your mouth instead, you couldn’t bring yourself to stop. Unfortunately, he made that choice for you. He grabbed your hair again and pulled you away from him, making you whine loudly.
“As hot as this is, I’d rather come in your mouth.” He rasped, trying to catch his breath. You nodded absentmindedly, but never removed your gaze from his neck. The sight of a drop of blood trailing down had you moving forward before he could stop you. You licked a stripe up his neck, doing your best to control yourself and not dive back in for more. When you reluctantly pulled back again, he gave you a proud smile, making your stomach flutter.
“Think you can get rid of ‘em now?” You nodded and closed your eyes, trying to focus. It took a moment, but once you started focusing on the scent of his arousal rather than his blood, it was pretty easy. Opening your eyes, you gave him a small smile and he pulled you closer, pressing his lips to yours. You gasped but quickly recovered and kissed him back, melting into him and pulling on his hair, trailing your other hand up to rest on his shoulder. His kiss was bruising, but you loved it all the same. When he pulled back, he pressed his forehead against yours, both of your breaths fanning across the other’s face.
“Why the fuck does that feel so good?” He finally asked, both of you releasing breathy laughs.
“I have no clue but I’m glad it does.” You pulled back a few inches so you could look at him. “Now if you don’t mind, I believe you promised me something else to suck on.” You smirked and he raised his brows.
“Wow, a little blood straight from the source and now you’re eager for it, huh? I’ll keep that in mind.” He smirked, making your cheeks heat up. “How ‘bout you show me just how eager you are?” You looked at him with furrowed brows, trying to understand what he meant, even though you were pretty sure you already knew. “Go on, baby. Beg for it.” Your entire face and neck flushed at that.
“You’re pushing your luck.” You narrowed your eyes, playfully.
“See, I don’t think I am.” He raised his brows again, as if he was waiting for a protest that you both knew would never come. “Go ahead, then I’ll give you what you want.” You bit your lip, your pride and neediness waging a war inside you.
“Please.” You muttered, bored.
“Not convinced.” He shrugged, making you glare at him.
“You’re the one who wanted me to do this in the first place!”
“Really? Because I remember you saying you’re the one who “wants it” and “has wanted it.’” He smirked and you clenched your jaw with a huff.
“Please can I suck you off.” You tried to put a little more emotion into it.
“Suck what?” You let out an annoyed groan and rolled your eyes.
“Your cock. I wanna suck your cock… please.” You mumbled, not being able to meet his gaze.
“There we go,” He cooed mockingly, “that wasn’t so hard was it?” You scowled, making him chuckle. Sliding off of him, you landed on your knees between his legs. You eyed his bulge and bit your lip, not being able to control your thighs squeezing together. He placed his hands behind his head and settled into the couch with a smirk.
“Keep looking at me like that and I’ll bite it.” You growled, making his smirk widen.
“Just admiring the view.” Ignoring him, you reached up to undo his pants, then tentatively freed his cock. He really did look like he was about to come any second now. The tip was so red it almost looked painful and you watched as it twitched in your grip, desperate for more stimulation.
Slowly leaning down, you licked the bead of precum on the top as you looked up at him through your lashes, making him let out a low groan.
“Fuck my face.” You whispered, breath fanning his cock.
“Fuck- are you sure?” Even though you didn’t answer yet, his hand was still making its way to your hair, running his fingers through it before gripping lightly.
“Yes.” He didn’t need any more convincing. Wrapping your lips around the head of his cock, you swirled your tongue around it as you waited for him to start. He all but whimpered as he slowly pushed you down his length, not stopping until your lips reached the base. You watched his chest heave as he moved his other hand to join the one already in your hair. He adjusted his grip, then started moving you up and down his length.
When he threw his head back with a low moan, you eyed the remaining blood that was starting to drip down his neck. Even though you wanted nothing more than to taste him again, you had to force your thoughts elsewhere before your fangs reappeared.
He started moving your head faster now, still pushing you all the way down, despite your light gagging and choking. It wasn’t long before he was holding your head still and thrusting up into your mouth, bucking his hips wildly as he chased his orgasm.
“Shit- I’m not gonna last,” He said through a moan, only thrusting a few more times before pushing your head all the way down and holding you there. You felt hot come hitting the back of your throat and you let out a garbled moan, making him whimper.
Fucking whimper.
That made you push a hand down your underwear and start rubbing fast circles on your clit. Which he seemed to appreciate, since it made you moan around his length again. His sounds died down until he sagged into the couch, chest heaving. His grip on your hair relaxed and you slowly pulled off of him, making sure to swallow any remaining come that didn’t immediately make its way down your throat.
“Jay,” You whined, voice raspy and needy. He opened his eyes and looked down at you, then trailed his gaze down your body. Even though him watching was making you nervous, you couldn’t stop touching yourself. “Please.”
“What are you begging for, princess?” He gave you a sleepy smile and stroked your hair gently.
“Wanna come.” You whimpered, leaning into his touch.
“Yeah?” All you could do was nod. “You poor thing.” He cooed, cupping your cheek before pulling you up to straddle his legs. His hands rubbed up and down your thighs teasingly, making you whine.
“Please.” You gave him your best puppy dog eyes and it wasn’t long before he folded. He brought his hand to the apex of your thighs and lightly brushed his fingers over your clothed heat. Your breath hitched as your hips bucked into his touch and you were about to tell him to hurry up but his hand was already making its way inside your pants and underwear. When he ran two fingers through your dripping folds, he cursed under his breath.
“Sucking my cock did this?” He asked breathlessly. All you could do was whine and nod. “Or was it sucking my blood…” His fingers just barely brushed over your hole and your clit, teasing you.
“Both.” You whined, hips squirming. “Jay, c’mon.” Before you could even finish those two words, he was inserting a finger. You choked on a gasp and brought your hands up to hold on to his shoulders. He moved it fast inside you as the heel of his hand stimulated your clit and you could already feel yourself nearing your orgasm.
You squeezed your eyes shut, head falling forward as you panted and moaned. When you opened your eyes, you were met with the sight of his cock, still wet from your mouth, getting hard again. So you moved your hand down and grasped it, immediately stroking to bring him back to full hardness.
“Shit— fuck, princess… Sensitive,” He gasped out, hips bucking up into your hand despite his words. You raised your head to look at his face and almost moaned at his expression. His brows were furrowed, mouth open in a silent moan, eyes dark and half lidded.
“I wanna come…” You whispered, biting your bottom lip and stroking his cock faster. When he pushed a second finger inside, you whimpered, grinding down on his hand.
“I bet you do.” He said, trying and failing to hide the smirk growing on his lips.
“Jay,” you whined, almost obnoxiously, “please.”
“I dunno… doesn’t really seem like you want it that bad.” He shrugged, fingers picking up the pace.
“I do! Please let me come, I need it.” He let out a low chuckle and raised his brows.
“You need it, huh?” You replied with a whimper and a nod. “Okay, princess. Since you need it so bad, go ahead.” He smirked. You all but breathed a sigh of relief.
“Thank you.” You whispered, closing your eyes to ready yourself.
“Look at me.” Your eyes opened, wondering why he was prolonging it. “Good girl. I want you to keep your eyes on me as you come, understand?” You clenched around his fingers at the praise and agreed. You did your best to focus on stroking his cock so he could maybe come with you, but as you neared the edge, it became increasingly more difficult. Your eyes flickered between his face and his cock, and when you saw the precum beading at the tip, you dragged your thumb over it and lifted it to your mouth, moaning at the taste. He cursed under his breath and moved his fingers even faster inside you.
When you finally fell over the edge, you squeezed your eyes shut, but quickly opened them again when you remembered his words. His fingers never even faltered as your walls fluttered around them. When you started unconsciously humping his hand to get the most of your orgasm, you felt his cock twitch in your hand and you looked down, finding spurts of come shooting out, landing on his shirt and your hand. You whimpered at the sound of his moans, feeling your fading arousal start to return.
When his fingers slowed to a stop, you did the same with your hand, then let go of his softening length. You winced when he slid his fingers out, but your lips parted when he sucked your arousal off of them, letting out an exaggerated moan at the taste.
“Stop being a tease.” You frowned, making him smirk.
“You love it.”
You just rolled your eyes, biting your lip to hide your smile.

~~~
The Polar Tang has never felt more cold than it does now. Even though you were deep into the freezing sea, the cold was nothing compared to the freeze you felt in your heart. Every passing second felt like an eternity as you suffered in silence. Watching the man you worked so hard to let you in pushed you away like you meant nothing.
You didn’t know what you’d done for him to act the way he was. One minute, he smiled whenever you entered his office with coffee; the next, he looked at you with disdain. Like you were a burden, it took a lot for you not to break down in tears every time he sent that look your way.
You couldn’t even avoid him if you wanted to. Being in a submarine miles underwater left you stuck with nowhere to go. Avoiding him was impossible, and the tension between the two of you was insane. Everyone inside the Polar Tang could feel it. It was thick enough to suffocate on, and you hated it. You didn’t want the crew to suffer or walk around eggshells just cause you're having relationship issues with your boyfriend.
Boyfriend? Captain? You didn’t know anymore. All he did was order you around instead of giving you a small good morning smile that you used to look forward to. Now, he barely acknowledges your presence and simply gives you a blank look.
You know that Law has his difficulties and trauma, so you never force him to do something he didn’t want to do. Let him take his time to trust and come to you. Everything you’ve done was to ensure that Law knew he was loved and could confine in you. Let him know he wasn’t alone and that you’d always be here for him.
Yet now, it feels like that wasn’t enough.
You only saw him when he addressed plans for the heart pirates or when he came to eat. Other than that, he was like a ghost that haunted the submarine. A rare sight to see him out of his office. A sight that you couldn’t take anymore.
Which brought you right outside his office door, your arm raised as you get ready to knock on the door, yet it stayed in its place. Biting your lip, you start to regret your decision to approach him, but the overwhelming pain in your heart gives you the slight boost you need.
KNOCK KNOCK
You slowly open the door, and you see him glaring at you. The sight alone had you shaking nervously.
“Law? Can we talk?” Walking out from behind the door, you breathe before closing it behind you.
“What?”
“I just…Did I do something to upset you? It feels like you're making an effort to avoid me. Please tell me if I did something wrong instead of avoiding me.” You can feel your voice shake as you confess your concerns.
“I’m not avoiding you.”
“But you are! Whenever I try to talk to you, you look so uninterested in what I have to say, and you turn around to leave before I even finish talking! I can’t remember the last time you smiled at me. For the past three months, you’ve done nothing but ignore me and look at me with disdain!”
“(Y/N)-ya, can we do this later? I need to make plans for Sabaody.” You let out a shocked gasp hearing his words. That’s what he’s been saying whenever you ask him to do something together. Now he’s saying it when you need to have a mature conversation.
“Nuh-uh. You’ve been saying that for two weeks! Every time I want to be next to you, I get that same damn response! That’s not gonna work this time. We need to have an adult conversation. An important adult conversation."
“What do you want from me (Y/N)-ya? I’m the captain. It’s obvious I'm going to be busy.”
“Busy, yeah! But you shouldn’t be busy to the point you don’t even come to bed! I bet you’ve been so busy sleeping in here that you haven’t noticed that I’ve slept in the crew bunks for almost a whole month!” You saw Law’s body slightly tense upon hearing your words. His eyes widened before going back to normal.
“That’s your choice.” Now, it’s your turn for your eyes to go wide. You can feel rage bubbling in your gut hearing his words. With a scowl, you throw your hands up in surrender.
“You know what? Fine. I’ve got more important things to do with my time instead. Since obviously I’m not important enough to have even a second of your time.” Turning around, you open the door before slamming it shut behind you. Tears slip down your cheeks as you stomp towards the kitchen to grab yourself a drink.
You’ve been drinking a lot more than you like to admit recently. It was hard not to when your struggling emotionally with your lover and mentally to get over your original drinking problem. It was horrible when you first joined the Heart Pirates, but slowly, they helped you start to overcome it.
There have always been alcohol problems in your family, and only did it hit you when you got into an abusive relationship before Law. Some people called you a ‘sad’ drunk type, so that could also be part of the problem. It made you only want to drink more. When the Heart Pirates took you in, you were fresh out of the relationship and suffering from alcoholism to the point you needed at least 3 alcoholic beverages every day. It's thanks to Law that your liver isn’t fucked.
It might as well be again with how much you started drinking again.
“Dare I ask how many so far?” Looking towards the door, you see Penguin entering the kitchen before sitting next to you at the table.
“Not enough.” You say before taking a big gulp. A small drop hits your uniform.
“Another problem with Captain, I assume?”
“Yeah, like always. Damn, bastard. Is there something I’m doing wrong?” Desperation slips from your lips as tears continue to stream down your cheeks.
“No! Of course not! I’m sure Captain has something planned for you guys! He’s just a difficult man to read, is all!” Penguin's loyalty to his Captain was admirable, but it's not what you want to hear during the time you wanted to punch said Captain in the face.
“I hope for my heart and liver's sake that you're right, Penguin.”
~~~
The next few days went by, and neither you nor Law spoke a word to one another. It broke your heart not speaking to him but you didn’t want to go crawling back to a man who didn’t care about your feelings. You’ve done plenty of that before joining the crew.
The hangover you were suffering from the hard-drinking the night before finally hitting you at full force. It felt like an ice pick stabbing into your head, and it only got worse as the crew got ready for the day.
Today was the day you’d be docking at Sabaody. Horrible time to get plastered the night before going to a busy place.
“Come on (Y/N)! We finally get to see the sun! It’s been so long!” Bepo shook your blanket-covered body. If it weren’t for the fact that you haven’t seen the sun in 2 weeks, and if it wasn’t, Bepo was the one shaking you, you probably would have slept late. But you could never say no to Bepo, and you did need some vitamin D before you got sick.
“Alright, alright. I’m getting up. Give me a sec, and I’ll meet you at the sub opening.”
“Okay! See you then!” You could practically hear Bepo’s smile as the bear ran off. Taking a breath, you get ready to see the archipelago Law is so obsessed about.
~~~
“Everyone gather round here.” Once everyone was out of the Polar Tang, Law immediately laid out the plan. It was going good so far until he said where you’d be.
“(Y/N) you’ll be on watch while Me, Bepo, Penguin, and Shachi-”
“Wait, why am I on watch?”
“Because I said so (Y/N). It’s easier that way.”
“Easier? Law you can’t just-”
“Captain. And my decision is final.” You simply look at the man in bewilderment. He never put you on watch.
If you weren’t going through a rough patch in your relationship with him, you’d just think it’d just cause he misplaced you. But now, with all the arguments and how Law’s been avoiding you, it’s like he just didn’t want you around. You could be looking too much into it, but with how Law talked about Sabaody, it sounded dangerous. If that were the case, wouldn’t he want you more around for more defense?
Not to mention how he ‘corrected’ you in front of the whole crew. You’ve called him Law in front of them before, and he didn’t say a thing. So why now?
“Okay, everyone, let's go.” The sound of the crew dispersing made your hands curl into fists. All you could do was stare at the ground as you heard everyone part ways. Law and his crew go to town while everyone makes their way back to the Polar Tang. There was no way in hell you were going back in that submarine after not seeing the sun in two weeks. If you wanted to crawl into a dark, cramped space, you’d just go to one of the many bars this place probably harbored.
In fact, you're gonna do just that. More than half the crew is on ‘watch.’ No one would notice you're gone. Just a few drinks, and you’ll be right back.
~~~
“Hey, Captain, why’d you put (Y/N) on watch? She’s never on watch.” The sound of Penguin’s voice breaks through Law’s thoughts.
“I have my reasons. She was unneeded, is all.” A complete lie that he hoped Penguin would just take without another word. In reality, he wanted you to stay safe. And in a place crawling with Marines, bounty hunters, and other pirates, the only safe space was the Polar Tang.
He knew you were strong and that you could handle yourself. But there was a fear that if he simply blinked for a single second, then you’d be gone. He loved you too much for that to be a reality.
Even though his actions beg to differ.
Whether intentional or not, he tends to push you away. He doesn’t want to get hurt and lose someone he loves once again, so it’s easier to be closed off. But the touch of your hands when you massage his tense shoulder or when you kiss his cheek when no one is looking is a token of ‘good luck.’ Times like this are where he wants to be close to you forever, but the fear of losing you becomes too strong so he pushes you away.
And he’s noticing that you're getting fed up with his hot/cold behavior.
When you told him that you hadn’t slept in your shared bed for about a month, Law could feel his heart stop. Has it really been a month since he’s slept in his own room? The thought ate him alive and his head raced with possible responses, and of course, he chose the worst one possible. He remembered seeing the hurt in your eyes and the faint tears that threatened to spill.
“Oh, Captain, look! I think there’s two other rookie pirates fighting!” Penguin snapped Law from his trance when he pointed to 2 pirates causing a ruckus. A small smile worked its way to Law’s lips at the sight.
“Well, let’s go watch, shall we?”
~~~
“Here you go, miss, another one for the pretty lady.” The bar you found yourself in was packed with all kinds of questionable people. All pirates and drunken commoners. There weren’t many women occupying the bar, so you stood out more than you would have liked. Not to mention how your uniform caught many eyes as well, your crew’s Jolly Roger plastered on it proudly. That and the many empty glasses of booze surrounding you.
“Thanks.” The bartender placed a huge jug of alcohol in front of you as you sat on the bar top. You can already tell that you’ve had more drinks than you originally were gonna get, but each passing minute that you thought about Law made you down another drink. It was easier to drink away your problems instead of working to fix said problem and it not working.
“Well, look what we have here. A lone heart pirate. Where's your Captain dolly?” Turning your eyes, your met with a trio of men standing next to you.
“None of your business. And don’t call me that.” What you could only assume is the leader started snickering before slamming his hand down next to you on the bar top.
“Your Captain and crew destroyed our ship, completely destroying our lives. But now that your here and alone, I think a small revenge message would be sent if you go back to your captain in pieces, right boys?” The two other men laugh, and you notice knives shining out of their pockets.
“I’m not drunk enough to deal with you. You want to go fight my Captain? Go for it. He’s on the island somewhere. Attacking me isn’t gonna do a damn thing.” Taking a hard swig of the alcohol of your glass, you’ve emptied it before you know it. You signal the bartender for another one, knowing that it isn’t gonna be near enough if you are dealing with even more annoyances.
“We know we stand no chance against the ‘Surgeon of Death’ woman. Which is what makes you the perfect message carrier for your Captain to know what happens when you mess with the Rubber Pirates!” You couldn’t help the laugh that escapes you upon hearing their names.
“Rubber Pirates? That’s the stupidest name I’ve ever heard. So stupid that I don’t even remember destroying their ship. I say we did you a favor.” You down your next glass like a champ and, once again, motion for another one. The sound of the liquor-filled glass had you slightly lip your lips. Before you could take another sip, the man grabs yoru forearm and pulls you to your feet.
“Don’t you dare laugh bitch!”
“Oh, I’m laughing, alright.” The man gripped you tighter before pulling out a small blade.
“I’m gonna cut out your tongue!” Grabbing one of the many empty glasses on the counter, you bash it against the man's head at full force. The glass broke against his head, leading the man to fall to the floor like a doll.
“Who do you think you are?!” His two goons yell at you before charging at you with knives as well. Reaching behind your back, you grab another empty glass. One of the men swiped at you, and you once again quickly bash the glass against his skull. Knocking him to the floor and landing in the already shattered glass mess.
The last man almost got you, but you managed to hit his face with the next fresh glass of alcohol. The liquid splashed everywhere on his clothes and on the ground. The floor turned slippery as he fell on top of his incapacitated buddies. With an annoyed huff and noticing everyone staring at you, you talk to the spectators.
“Anybody else wants to bother me for no fucking reason?” The room was silent, which you took for a no.
“Good now go back to drinking and pretend this never happened.” You turn around to sit back down on the bar top. You grab some berri’s and give them to the bartender.
“Here’s for the broken glass. I’m still not drunk enough, so keep those drinks coming.” Getting in a bar fight was something you weren’t planning on doing. You just wanted some drinks and to go home.
“What shitty pirates they are if a single girl can take them out.” A gruff voice said next to you. Furrowing your brows, you snap your head towards the voice, only to be speechless.
“Holy shit.” Your eyes widen when you see the most wanted new-gen pirate sitting next to you. All the stories you’ve heard about him show their worth.
“What? Scared?” Quickly pulling yourself together, you answer.
“Maybe a little. It’s not everyday you see the infamous Eustass ‘Captain’ Kid sitting next to you.” A small chuckle leaves your lips, and it pulls one from his in return.
“What’s a heart pirate doing by herself drinking in a dingy bar?” You knew that he was bad news. That you shouldn’t talk to a rival Captain. Especially with someone as strong as Eustass Kid. But who’s gonna stop you? Plus, the effects of the alcohol you’ve been consuming have finally started to take its toll.
“Drinking away my frustrations and problems. What about you, Captain? What’s the infamous Captain Kid doing in such a bar?”
“Passing time till it’s time to head back to my ship and get into the New World.” Ah. The New World. A place where you’ve heard countless stories of beasts, crazy islands, and weather. Insanity that only the strong survive.
“Same for us, I'm sure. It’s a little nerve-racking. Hearing all the stories about it. But you only live once, right?”
“Exactly. Which is why I’m going to be King of the Pirates and obtain the One Piece! And I’ll kill anyone who stands in my way.”
“Sounds on brand. I’ll cheer for you. How's that?”
“What? No faith in your Captain?” Kidd’s laughter was slightly contagious as it made you laugh while drinking.
“My Captain gets my faith when he stops acting like a jackass.”
“You know, some would call that mutiny.”
“Some may call it a mutiny. I call it losing faith in a relationship.”
“Surgeon of Death ain’t a good boyfriend? Go figures.”
“That is what lead me to this dingy ass bar. Got into another fight with him and now I’m here. Can say I haven’t drank this much since my last relationship.” You take another big gulp of alcohol before sighing.
“I just don’t fucking understand. What’s the point of being together if all that bastard does is push me away! If he wants to break up with me, he should just be a man and do so! I’m a grown woman; I can handle it.” The feelings of anger and hurt soon started bubbling up, and before you knew it, you're spilling your problems to a man you don’t know.
“Doesn’t fucking help that when I want to, I can’t even escape him when we're stuck on a ship together! This is the first time in two weeks that I’ve actually been on land and seen the sky.” You grumbled while finishing your drink.
“Tell you what, Heart Pirate, how bout you come join me and my crew to check out the auction house. I’m feeling charitable, so I’ll take pity on your sorry ass to get your mind off your shithead Captain.” A small part of you told you it was a terrible idea. Going alone with a rival pirate group? Yet, the sound of just being near other people sounded too good to pass up. Even if the offer was worded horribly.
“Sounds like a deal I’m willing to take. Lead the way, Captain.”
~~~
“What’s the point in being here again? I’m confused.” Bepo’s hushed words to Shachi didn’t go unnoticed by Law but he decided to not comment. He originally just wanted to see what it was about but as time grew on, he couldn’t help but have his thought travel back to you.
Scenes of the two of you just doing mundane things played through his head, and had a small smile tugging at his lips. When the two of you would speak over some coffee or simply sitting in the same room was nice. It didn’t need to be a big thing. Just your company was enough for him.
Yet he pushed you away once again by making you stay back on the ship. Even if he wanted you safe, no place was 100% safe on Sabaody. Not with Marine headquarters being so close. And knowing that, had him fearing for you and the crew’s safety.
Just then, your laugh trickled into his eats as looked around the room, trying to pinpoint where it was coming from. Once seeing nothing, he realized it’s probably just his conscious making him feel guilty for leaving you behind. It wouldn’t be the first time your voice haunted his thoughts after he pushed you away. The guilt always kills him, but it’s easier to keep you at a distance. It wasn’t fair to you that he knew. One moment holding you close then the next pushing you away.
Suddenly, your laughter filled his ears once again. It sounded too real to be in his head this time. But why would you be here? A million places on the archipelago, and you managed to make it to the auction house? Not to mention you were supposed to be back on the Polar Tang. So when Law turned his head towards the entrance, his eyes went wide seeing you standing next to Eustass ‘Captain’ Kid giggling.
What the fuck were you doing next to him?
“I can’t believe how you didn’t get tetanus! Any other death-defying childhood stories, Kid?” The sound of you calling him by his name had Law gritting his teeth. Since when did you get so close to the red-headed brute?
Law watched you and Kid continue talking and laughing. His fists clutched tightly when he saw Kid pull you closer and put his hand on your hip. Red plagued Law’s vision when he saw Kid smirk at him when he noticed the doctor’s vicious staring. The final straw was when the man made a sexual innuendo towards you when you weren’t looking while looking at Law with mocking eyes.
Standing up, Law marches towards you with a threatening aura surrounding him. You didn’t have the chance to say anything before Law grabbed your wrists and pulled you through the entrance before stopping just before reaching the outside.
“(Y/N)-ya, what the fuck are you doing away from the sub? And what are you doing next to Eustass-ya?” Rage dripped from Law’s words, but you paid no mind to it.
“Captain! What are you doing here?” The overwhelming smell of booze finally hit his nose as he heard your slurred speech.
“Are you drunk right now?!” Your giggling told him everything he needed to know. How much you had was up in the air as he saw you stumbling and struggling to stay on your feet.
“Pfft, since when does that matter? I’m speaking, aren’t I?” Law grabbed your forearms and held you in place, his eyes staring directly into your own.
“Don’t you know how irresponsible your being?! Drinking in this dangerous place and not to mention with Eustass Kid!” Your giggles soon stopped as you stared at Law with a sharp glare.
“Oh, cut me the crap. Since when do you care? It’s not like I’m that important enough for you to care. Plus! I was just talking to the man, and he seems to be just fine to me!” Law could hear an almost silent tremble in your voice as you spoke to him.
“If I didn’t care, I wouldn’t be reprimanding you!”
“You sure have a funny way of showing it. Cause I could have sworn you were only Captain to me. Funny how I can call the most infamous new gen pirate by his name, but I can’t call my own boyfriend by his name!” His conversation with you earlier popped back into his mind.
“I was…upset, alright?!” You threw Law’s hands off you as you stumble back, a small hiccup forming in the back of your throat.
“Oh, so you can take it out on me then? Sounds like a healthy relationship.”
“Listen, I’m sorry, okay?! Happy?”
“No! I’m not! I don’t know what you think gives you the right to police what I do when you’ve shown time and time again to give a shit less about me! I’ve talked to Kid more than I’ve talked to you all month, probably!” Law rubbed his eyes as he tried to talk you through your drunken state.
“I don’t want to hear anything more about that hot-headed idiot, alright! God, how many drinks have you had?” He could feel his blood freeze when he saw you using your fingers to count the amount of drinks you’ve consumed.
“So if I had four this morning…and seven not too long ago…-”
“You’ve had eleven drinks today?! It’s not even three pm! Are you trying to drink yourself to death?!”
“Maybe I am huh? Ever think about that?!” A cold quiet settled between the two of you as Law watched tears finally fall from your eyes as hiccups left your throat. He could feel his heart twist and turn with each tear that slipped down your cheeks.
“What’s the point in anything if I cause so much trouble that my own ‘boyfriend’ ignores me for something I don’t know I’ve done! What’s the point in getting help if I just fall back into addiction, only harder?! I’m tired of all the pitiful looks I get from the crew when I walk away in tears after a fight! Sick of getting looks when I enter the kitchen! I know I’ve got problems, but it's hard to solve them when the whole world fights against me!” The man stood quiet as he listened to you.
“I’m not that strong, alright?! I’m not strong enough to just shrug off your words and actions! I’m not you, okay?! I can’t get over my problems by dismissing it! I can’t solve my problems by myself, and that’s what I feel when I’m near you! I feel alone! I…” Your sobs soon echoed in the hallway as your uniform started catching your tears. Law could only stand still as he felt frozen, your confession ripping him to shreds.
“I’m not strong enough to be alone…”
“(Y/N)...I-”
“Don’t. I-I think it’s best if we go back to the way things were. Your my Captain, and I’m just the crewmate who can’t get her shit togther. I’ll met you back at the ship Captain.” Turning around to leave, Law finally moves to grab your hand before you could walk away.
“Your not alone! I’m here alright! Let’s get you some water to sober you up so we can talk rationally okay? You shouldn’t be alone right now okay?! Your not! I’m right here so let’s just-” Tugging your hand from Law’s grip, you look at him with hot tears slipping down your cheeks.
“Even with you ‘by my side’ I'll always be alone.”

Perfume, check.

Favorite watch, check.
Tonight, Namjoon was a different man. His night would not be the same as the others. No more boring date nights inside his apartment. Today he’ll go to a nice bar, where you’ll be expecting him. But what you’re not accounting for is his intentions.
Today he’s fulfilling a fantasy. One he’s been intrigued by since you’ve mentioned it. But to pull it off, he has to be his best confident self. Be in his A game and catch you by surprise.
Checking himself in the mirror and everything looks fine, appropriate. Except his expression. He’s not ready for this. He can only think of your request to spice things up. He didn’t know they needed spicing up in the first place.
“I’m living my greatest fantasy right now,” he remembered saying. You two were cuddling in his bed after sex. You were cozied up to his chest, and he ran the tip of his fingers through your naked spine. He was almost purring.
“Cuddling?” you asked, sounding surprised.
“Intimacy,” he answered, giggling at your amazed expression.
“Really?” you checked. “But I can’t say I’m that surprised. You’re always so… intense.”
“What do you mean?”
“I don’t really think we have sex per se, I see it as passionate love making. You’re fully committed to it.”
“And you’re not?” he asked. Your last sentence had his alarm bells turned on.
“Of course I am, love. Don’t get me wrong.” you shifted in bed, supporting your weight in one elbow to look at his face. “And I love that you’re passionate, and that you’re into all sorts of intimacy.”
“But?” he pressed, trying to stay calm.
“But… I, personally, wouldn’t categorize intimacy as a fantasy. I swear I’m not judging you.”
“Okay…”
“Are you mad?” you asked, and he watched as your brows furrowed in concern.
“What do you consider a fantasy?” he asked, letting his curiosity get the best of him. You just stayed in silence and studied his face, your brows still furrowed. “I’m not mad,” he clarified, making sure his voice sounded calm enough.
He was telling the truth. Mad was not the correct word to describe his feelings. He was a little worried that he wasn’t satisfying you, so he was worried. He wanted you all to himself — soul and body, especially body — and he wanted you to moan how much you belonged to him, so he was possessive. He didn’t even want to think about the possibility of another man finding the weak spots he worked so hard to build, so he was jealous. But mad wasn’t one of them.
You sighed, taking him out of his musings, and you answered sheepishly. “I like roleplaying,” you whispered. He hummed in acknowledgment and changed the subject.
But that night still ran through his mind every time you had sex, and in the ride to that bar he replayed that scene over and over again. He had to know what you were like, who you were, when you didn’t want to be yourself.
That was enough to give him back his confidence in his idea. His curiosity got him into this mess, and it was that same itch that would get him through it.
The slick wood arches over the bar were the first thing to catch his eyes when he entered. The low light above the tables and booths complimented nicely with the black leather chairs. The live band wasn’t half bad with the smooth jazz.
The atmosphere was sexy. He picked right.
He sat on a bar stool and asked for his favorite drink.
“A manhattan for me, please,” he heard a familiar voice say, and he turned around to fall in love with you all over again.
Your smile was big when you looked at his face, and you opened your mouth to start talking, but Namjoon was set on making this night special from beginning to end. After all, he didn’t let you in on his plans for a reason. He wanted to see the desire and lust in your eyes when you realized his idea. Another thing he was curious about.
“Hello, stranger,” he started, offering his hand. When you accepted it, he took it to his lips, planting a sweet kiss there. “I must be pretty lucky to have such a beautiful face sit right next to me.”
“Thank you…” you said. Your tone of voice gave away your confusion, bending at the end, making it sound like a question. Namjoon guessed you were trying to understand his strange behavior.
“Does your pretty face come with a name?” he continued. He was amused by the many emotions running through your face, but he hadn’t quite reached the one he wanted to see the most yet.
“What?” you asked.
“Oh, no worries. I don’t mind a little mystery.” he leaned towards you and took a sip of his drink. “My name is Namjoon by the way. I hope I get to know you better this evening, angel.”
Jackpot.
Your face lit up with understanding, and a sly smile adorned your face.
“You sound intriguing, Namjoon.”
“I could say the same thing about you.” he winked and was pleased when you bit your bottom lip. He made sure the bartender knew he’d pay for the drinks and made a move to leave. “I must leave now. But if you want to have the time of your life, here’s where to find me,” he said.
He handed you a card with the name of a club and some cash for the Uber. “I’ll be waiting for you, angel. I know you won’t disappoint me.” he said, leaning closer to your face and inhaling the scent of your perfume. “Your name is on the list,” he whispered to your ear, before planting another kiss to your earlobe.
Arriving at the club was easy enough. The waiting for you to show up was almost a torture device.
Did he do it right? Did you feel controlled, like he was dominating your decisions? Were you turned on by the idea? At the end, after he handed you the card, was the glint in your eyes just residue from the surprise? Or did you feel your stomach flutter, much like his own heart was beating out of his chest?
The possibilities were endless.
But it was like you had a neon sign pointed directly at you. He could see your face as you looked for him in the crowd. He took a sip of his drink. Should he go after you, or should he let you find him? He twitched in his seat, his leg bouncing. He must do something.
But alas, there you were.
Eyes still filled with fascination. Your lips parted as you two made eye contact, and Namjoon watched you in awe. Shoulders back, and hips moving side to side, inviting him to glare, to stare, to inappropriately lick his lips. He watched every second of your hands as they ran through your body, touching all the places he knew you liked to be kissed. Your neck, your navel, the curve of your hips.
Dancing for him. A show just for him. Other people get to watch and envy him. But he’s the only one that can touch.
Intimacy be damned. He liked this fantasy better.
You curled your fingers, inviting him to dance. He didn’t have to think twice.
He didn’t recognize himself. The Namjoon of yesterday wouldn’t do such a thing. Too timid to dance like this in public. To grab his partner by the waist and ogle at his favorite body parts. But you changed him. Reached his genetic makeup and twisted it to your liking.
He liked it too.
He didn’t last more than a song underneath your touch. Your hands ran upwards through his body, but before they could reach his neck and fist his hair, Namjoon was already kissing you. It was urgent, it was inappropriate, it was too damn sexual. He was sure he’d leave the club with a boner.
His tongue unceremoniously intertwined with yours, and his hands grabbed your ass with fervor. You weren’t so cute either. Namjoon remembered you were in a public setting when your hands reached the front of his pants.
He stopped your search, holding your wrists behind your back.
“Not here, angel,” he said, panting.
“I know where,” you offered, twisting your wrists so you’d be hauling him around the club.
You reached the bathrooms, and you shoved him inside before a line could form behind you. Before he could ask about your intentions, you pushed him against the wall, kissing him again. He allowed himself to go further, biting your neck and leveraging his position to grind his groin against your abdomen.
“Fuck, I can’t take this,” you said, dropping to your knees and opening his zipper.
His cock was already hard when you wrapped your mouth around him. He moaned your name repeatedly as you massaged his length in synchronicity with your lips. He moaned even louder when his tip reached the back of your throat. Your gag reflex made your throat even tighter, and he wanted to scream your name.
But of course you had to surprise him, using his length to slap your face and tongue, and putting pressure around his base. And that was enough for him to be overwhelmed by his instincts. He grabbed a chunk of your hair with one hand and secured your jaw open with the other, inserting himself in and out as he pleased.
He thrusted his hips once more, as far as your mouth would allow. He wanted to feel your throat closing around his tip again. He only let you up for air after you tapped his thigh. But he wasn’t done being rough. The trail of saliva left between his dick and your tongue inspired him even further.
“Open your mouth,” he demanded, his voice almost an octave lower, and you obliged with a smile. He spit on your tongue before placing his testicles inside your mouth. Between the warmth of your tongue and his agile hands, he was close. “Fuck,” he moaned, inserting his dick in your mouth one last time before climax overpowered him. “I want to see you swallow it,” he asserted, already adjusting his pants.
You did as he asked and opened your mouth showing your tongue to prove it. Your smile was as big as he’d ever seen. If he knew you’d be this wild, he wouldn’t have been so reluctant to comply with your wishes.
“Good,” he said, taking a deep breath and helping you get to your feet.
Before you could say anything, or even better, go home to finish the night, there was a banging on the bathroom door.
When Namjoon opened it, he was met with a security guard, followed by an irritated manager.
“Oh, goody,” the manager said, taking a look around Namjoon to find you hiding behind him.
“Would you two please step aside? The bathroom is off limits from certain activities. I’m gonna have to escort you out of the premises.”
“Sure, that’s no problem.” Namjoon didn’t turn around to look at you. He just squeezed your hand as you two walked out of the club, but he knew your whole body was burning from embarrassment. “Well, there’s a story to tell our grandkids,” he joked once you two were on a cab headed home.
“If you tell them any of this, I will slowly poison you,” you threatened. “But I do need to tell them how amazing you are in all aspects,” you gushed, hugging his neck. “Thank you for tonight.”
“Anytime, angel.”

All the Difference
Sam and Dean Winchester & little sister!reader
Requested by Anonymous and Anonymous (I combined to similar requests)
Synopsis: The brothers help you through one of your frequent migraines.
Warnings: migraines, pain, honestly it’s mostly fluff. I’m no expert on migraines but I had a few in high school so I’m going off that experience, there could be some mistakes.
Tumblr media
You went to the library of the bunker with a familiar sense of foreboding. It had started with your vision, as it always did. An annoying little spot at the corner of your eyes that was oddly blurry. It continued like that for nearly half an hour, and after that was when the pain started.
“Hey, how’d you sleep?” Sam greeted as you entered the library. His jovial tone dropped when he saw the look on your face. “Hey, what’s wrong?”
“It’s happening again,” you mumbled, coming to stand in front of your brother.
“Does it hurt yet?” He asked gently, reaching out and grabbing your hands.
“Only a little,” you sighed. But it would get worse, it always did.
“Do you want to try and sleep?” Sam asked, his thumbs brushing over the back of your hands.
You shook your head.
“You wanna eat something?”
Another shake.
“Hey guys,” Dean greeted much too loudly, and Sam frowned when he saw you flinch.
“Easy man,” he chided. “She’s got a migraine.”
“Sorry,” Dean all but whispered. “How bad is it?”
“I think it’s gonna be a bad one,” you said gloomily. Bad migraines could last for days; you were in for a rough week.
“Alright, c’mon,” Dean said, grabbing his jacket.
“What?” You frowned up at him.
“No use just sitting around waiting for it to get worse. Let’s go for a drive.”
Dean reclined your seat before stepping back to let you get in. You did without argument, and Dean ran around the front to his own seat. The roar of the engine should’ve made you flinch, but despite how loud it was there was something comforting about the familiar sound.
Dean turned on the radio, but to your surprise it wasn’t his head-banging Metallica; instead he had one of your favorite songs, turned down low enough that it didn’t bother you.
Neither of you spoke as Dean pulled away from the bunker and started down the open road. You didn’t have to. He was humming softly to your songs, and you were relaxing in the passenger seat, lulled by Baby’s gentle purr and the soft music. Your migraine was steadily getting worse, and every bump on the road had you cringing, but all-in-all it was better than sitting in the artificial light of the bunker, moping and waiting for it to get worse.
Eventually, though, the bumps became unbearable, and so did the sunlight creeping over the hood of the Impala and reflecting past your eyes and straight into your head, like it was shining onto your migraine itself.
“Dean?” You mumbled finally, and he hummed in acknowledgement. “Can we go back now?”
“You ok?” He asked even as he swung the Impala into a U-turn.
“Hurts.” You brought your hands up to cover your eyes, but it didn’t help.
“Ok it’s ok, we’re not far, just hang in there.”
Dean lowered the volume on the radio even more, and you could tell he was taking extra care to miss the potholes lining the road. He pulled out his phone and made a call.
“Hey, Sammy? Yeah we’re headed back now. Blackout.”
“Blackout” meant that Sam would turn off all the lights in the bunker, except for some candles or dim lights to see by. You always told your brothers that they didn’t have to do it; you could always just hibernate in your room. But they wanted the whole bunker migraine-friendly whenever you were in pain, so they did it anyway.
“You doin’ ok over there?” Dean asked after he hung up. You nodded, unwilling to speak as your head pounded.
“Ok, well I want you to drink some water when we get back to the bunker. I know that won’t make it go away, but it can’t hurt either.”
You knew arguing would be futile, and you didn’t have the energy to do it anyway.
When you got back to the bunker, you waved you hand blindly for the car door, hesitant to open your eyes. You didn’t have to; your door opened up without your aid, and Dean was there, lifting you into his arms.
“It’s my head that’s broken, not my legs,” you protested even as you relaxed against your brother’s shoulder.
“Shut up,” Dean replied, and the rumble of his voice in his chest felt oddly good against your aching forehead. “I’m gonna take you to the couch, ok?”
Your head hurt too much for words or even a nod, so you just let silence be your assent.
Dean carried you into the bunker and straight to the couch, and you had to admit that it was nice without the glaring lights on.
Dean had you on the couch with your favorite fluffy blanket over you in record time, and a few minutes later he had you surrounded by water bottles as though they were guards protecting you.
“I’ve gotta head to the library and catch up on some lore,” he said finally. “So it’s Sam’s turn to play nursemaid for a while.”
“You don’t have to—“ you started, but Dean was already gone, and within minutes Sam arrived to take his place, a steaming bowl in his hands.
“I know you don’t want food,” he said before you could speak. “But you should probably get something in you, so I brought you some broth. Think you can handle that?”
You nodded wearily, hesitant to sit up. You were getting hungry, but the last thing you wanted was to give your stomach something to reject later.
“Alright.”
You groaned as Sam put a hand behind your back and lifted you to sit up.
“Yeah yeah,” he said, not sounding quite as pitying anymore. “You gotta sit up to eat.”
This brought a tiny smile to the corner of your lips, but it dropped fast as your head pounded in retribution for your movements. At your wince, Sam frowned.
“Sorry, honey,” he said softly.
“Not your fault,” you mumbled, making grabby hands for the bowl in his hands.
Once you had about half the bowl finished, you offered it back to Sam and he took it, satisfied enough.
He set it on the side table before coming to sit next to you on the couch.
“I was gonna lay there,” you protested.
“I know,” Sam said, lifting his giant hand up to pull your head down. Cradling the back of your head, he lowered you slowly to lay down, your head resting in his lap. Your eyes fluttered closed as your big brother ran his fingers feather-light through your hair.
After a few minutes, his hands left your hair, and you peaked one eye open to see him straining for a book on the bookshelf. He reached it and pulled it back, and you closed your eyes again as Sam cracked it open, before continuing to brush his fingers through your hair.
He started to read aloud, his voice loud enough so you didn’t have to strain but quiet enough that it felt soothing.
You appreciated this more than just about anything; screens were a definite no during migraines, and there were very few things that you could do to keep yourself from going insane with boredom when your head hurt too much to sleep.
That was how the whole afternoon was spent; at some point you and maybe even Sam dozed off before continuing, but for the most part he spent his whole afternoon reading to you.
After a dinner of some more reheated broth, Dean emerged from the library and came to sit with you and Sam.
“Hey sweetheart,” Dean greeted. “How we doing?”
“We have a migraine,” you mumbled sarcastically.
“Oh really?” Dean quipped as he lifted your legs, sitting on the couch and then lowering your legs back down and into his lap.
“Not funny,” you huffed even as you made yourself comfortable.
The three of you lapsed into a comfortable silence for the rest of the night. Neither of the brothers went to their beds, and they didn’t offer to bring you to yours either; they knew that you wanted to be with them when you were hurting. You were certain that you could live through a million more migraines as long as you had your big brothers.
Sam taking time out of his busy life to relax with you and distract you from the pain for a bit was the best thing he could do for you. The same was true with Dean taking you out in Baby.
Though nothing they did could take away your pain, they did everything they could to make sure you could still have good times between the pain, and that made all the difference in the world.

I love how Rick is the only man Michonne happily lets take over. He’s the only one she’ll ever defer to and trust to go with his way over her own. It’s why she never even second-guessed his escape plan. But then, y'all, Rick's getaway plan threw Michonne and me for a loop😢...
So once he’s alone in the apartment, Rick gets right to work laying out everything he needs for this getaway plan. I like how he always keeps all his secrets in the couch cushions. And both times the stuff he has inside the couch has so much to do with Michonne.
Rick is thorough with it laying everything out like paddles, wire, and a consignee jacket, going over maps, writing out stuff, and drinking to numb the fact that he’s also making a plan that means he may never see Michonne again after this. 😢 But I love this scene of seeing him so determined to figure out how to save his wife and get her safely home.
Tumblr media
gif cred: @andy-clutterbuck
Then we see Michonne sitting at lunchtime with the consignees and it is a drab set up I must say. Like the area was giving prison yard. And it makes me sad to think this is how Rick spent so many lonely lunches for years.
As Michonne eats, she sees Rick coming over in his CRM uniform, which is all she’s seen him wearing thus far. I feel like it illustrates how the CRM has a constant hold on him.
Since Richonne can always communicate without words Michonne immediately knows Rick is coming over here to give her a note.
She puts her plate away and then casually walks pass him as he slips a note in her hand and of course, they do the pass off smoothly because they’re just a well-oiled machine like that. 👌🏽
Part of me was like wouldn’t it sorta be odder to the other soldiers if the two don’t acknowledge each other at all when they pass each other considering their story is she saved Rick from an attack? But they’re not taking any chances I guess. And the way Richonne can’t be subtle about each other it’s probably for the best they just walk on by. 🙂
Tumblr media
gif cred: @nat111love
When Rick walks off after passing the note he takes a breath and even looks teary because if all goes according to his plan that really was his last time being able to see and feel his wife - another final hand moment like how their last real moment side-by-side in TWD was a hand moment. 🥺
I know right now Rick thinks this is for the best but it also has to be so painful for him knowing that he’s about to be without her again. And knowing Michonne doesn’t even know that this technically would be their last moment together is just...☹️😢
Michonne reads the letter as we hear Rick’s fine voice say what’s inside it. He starts by saying, “This is it, tonight. We gotta move fast.” And I love Michonne’s little smile as she reads that. She fully trusts Rick to get them out of here and so she’s ready and willing to follow his lead with this…which is why what comes next is so heartbreaking.
Tumblr media
gif cred: @nat111love
But first, we see everything Rick did to ensure Michonne would have the smoothest escape possible. It is so sweet that despite Michonne being super capable, Rick still wanted to take care of everything he possibly could for her. 😊 That’s a good man, Savannah, a good man. 👏🏽
As Rick’s walking in a tunnel he sees writing on the floor that says ‘Tell them I’m sorry I lied’ and it’s very intentional showing that because I feel like that is essentially what Rick will want Michonne to tell Judith (and RJ) after he lied to get Michonne out of this place.
Also, I once again need to note - Rick in all-black. ❤️‍🔥😋
Tumblr media
gif cred: andy-clutterbuck
It’s interesting because while those words written on the ground should have been a clear sign to us viewers that a lie is afoot right now, eye fully believed Rick was really intending to escape with Michonne with this plan. So Michonne and I were very caught off guard when that wasn’t the case.
Rick tells Michonne all the details of where to go and what to do to escape, laying it out step by step to make it as easy as possible, and she’s following what the letter says.
And then my favorite part of this letter moment arrives when he says, “I love you.” 😍 Rick is gonna earn that Ultimate Loverboy title every chance he gets. It’s also sweet cuz he knows this could be one of the last times he gets to tell her. ☹️
Tumblr media
gif cred: richone4life
I love that he always wants to be sure that if nothing else she knows he loves her. While his decisions right now are going to upset Michonne (and me 🙋🏽‍♀️), it is all being done because of how much he loves her.
And then I absolutely adore Michonne’s response to reading her husband say I love you in the letter. The sweetest. 🥰And that smile was an 'I love you back' from Michonne. Again, it really is so clear that he makes her feel so safe and loved and like they can truly pull this off together.
Tumblr media
gif cred: @riickgrimes
(Side note: I love the softening of Michonne over the seasons in TWD and that Rick brought out her softest side. Like it makes so much sense that she had a rougher exterior when she was introduced in season 3 because being a woman in that world is so dangerous, especially a woman traveling alone for a long period of time. I can legitimately name about 8 woman characters in TWD who were SA'ed or at risk of that. and so as women, it probably feels like you have to hide any part of yourself that is softer just to stay safe. But as each season progressed, Michonne got to tap back into that part of her, especially as she found a true safe space in Rick. She knows how to be fierce and intimidating when she needs to be but with Rick her heart just melts like when she reads his letter with the escape plan and she sees that he wrote I love you)
Then I absolutely love the cute flirty delivery of Rick saying “...and I left you a little something” as they then do a perfect cut to Michonne slicing a walker with her katana. 👏🏽
Y’all, of course, Rick 'Man of the Year' Grimes would make sure Michonne didn’t leave here without her signature sword. The best. 😊
Once again I love Michonne’s proud smile as she’s about to take out more walkers only to realize Rick has already got it covered and tied them up for her. The world might be riddled with dead but chivalry is alive and well cuz of that man Rick Grimes. 👌🏽
And I’ll forever appreciate that Rick never treated Michonne like a weapon with a weapon. As the woman he values, he wants to take it upon himself to handle everything to make her escape and travel a smooth and successful process.
Tumblr media
gif cred: @richonne4life
Rick’s also walking through the same spots Michonne is and it was clever to have his scenes intercut with Michonne’s because they really had me fooled, thinking they were both headed to the getaway boat - not realizing all his scenes are actually occurring ahead of time as he sets everything up for Michonne’s escape.
Normally I would be suspicious that something is up, especially cuz when is a plan ever that smooth but idk, me and Michonne just really believe in Rick Grimes i guess, so like her, I didn’t question anything lol.
Tumblr media
gif cred: @nerd4music
I thought the complications might come once they got to the boat and tried to escape together or something, however Rick had us in for a sad surprise.
I honestly feel like had this getaway plan been given to Michonne by anyone other than Rick, her intuition would have sounded a few more alarms that maybe something is suspect with the plan. It was so smooth to get out, and I know part of it is because Rick sweetly made sure Michonne could walk right through with little to no hurdles but with how easy it seemed, Michonne might have been inclined to wonder how it could be this smooth to escape and yet Rick was trapped for years.
Cuz the way her getaway was going, it was looking like Rick should've been able to escape in time to be there for RJ’s birth lol. But Michonne trusted his plan wholeheartedly because she wholeheartedly loves and trust Rick more than anyone. That’s another reason why it’s gotta be so hurtful knowing that he knew she’d trust his lead and he used that to try to get her to leave alone. 😞
But still, I really like this whole escape scene and the intercut between the two. It felt like the way an escape scene should be executed in an epic love story because it was all still so rooted in Richonne’s love. And the parallel shots of their silhouetted selves walking through the tunnels with red and blue light were nice.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
gif cred: @chaoticroad
So then Michonne makes it to the designated destination and seeing her smile in anticipation to see Rick makes me so sad rewatching and knowing he’s not coming.
Tumblr media
gif cred: @richonne4life
She was really looking forward to reuniting with Rick here and heading home together. Her smile was giving....
Tumblr media
But then that happiness just gets crushed. 😔
She calls out for Rick but he’s nowhere in sight. She looks suspicious when she notices a walker in a consignee jacket, which little does she know Rick planted there to fake her death.
Then, as she searches through the boat she finds another letter that just makes my heart break. 💔
Tumblr media
gif cred: @nat111love
Rick's letter says, “I’m not coming. And if you don’t go, you’ll never get away and we both die here.” It’s painful knowing he’s basically like 'I’m the only one that should die here.'
Then I like that he mentions getting Michonne back to their daughter specifically when he writes, “The only way to get you back to Judith is that I stay here to make sure.”
Tumblr media
gif cred: @nat111love
You can hear the sadness in the way Rick is talking out what’s in the letter, he knows Judith needs her mom and so even tho he needs Michonne too he’ll always try to choose his kids needing Michonne above himself. And then you really feel his emotions as he tells Michonne, “I love you forever.” 🥺
First of all; I absolutely love that he wrote that to her and that we now get to add Rick saying “I love you forever” to the many romantic things he’s told Michonne. It’s so heartwarmingly worded for him to want her to know that while this is essentially goodbye he will forever be in love with her even as they're apart.
Tumblr media
gif cred: @nat111love
Then the most problematic part of the letter is Rick saying “If you love me, you’ll go.” 😓 And for so many reasons...
Tumblr media
I know Rick means well but it’s weaponizing love to say something like that. He knows she loves him. He knows how hard it would be for her to leave him here hence why he had to lie to even get her to go along with the plan in the first place. And now he’s essentially attempting to make her feel like she doesn’t love him if she stays. When deep down Rick knows full well Michonne doesn’t leave people behind let alone the love of her life.
And if the roles were reversed Rick would never just leave her someplace that has her clearly trapped and miserable. But it’s been a minute, so maybe Rick got a little foggy on just how much he and Michonne are cut from the same cloth which means she would never leave him either.
Tumblr media
gif cred: @nat111love
And just the 'if' gets to me cuz there is no if, Richard. That’s exactly why she can’t go. Because she loves him.
Saying that line puts Michonne in an unfair position. She either goes back home, just having to live with the knowledge that Rick is out there and hurting and her kids will never get to meet their dad who is alive and she’ll never even get to tell Rick about his son. Or she stays and has it be deemed a lack of love for staying. When again it’s the ultimate act of love for her to stay in this place and still fight for Rick even when he doesn’t think he’s worth fighting for.
I remember one of my thoughts when I first heard this letter was "What did Rick want Michonne to tell Judith?…like should she say 'yeah, I found your dad. He’s alive but he’s never coming home so let’s just move on and live our lives??'" That was never gonna be an option. But I guess he’d want her to tell Judith and RJ what he saw in the tunnel - “I’m sorry I lied.”
Tumblr media
gif cred: @taiturner
I also had this moment of wondering - why does Rick seem to think leaving him or moving on from him is so doable? And then it hit me that it might be because he’s had it happen before. 🥺
He was in a coma for just a few months and by the time he saw Lori again she was pregnant with his best friend's baby and his best friend was fully playing house with his wife and son.
Tumblr media
But Michonne cannot be compared to the wife and BFF of Christmas past.
No, now Rick has a wife and bff rolled into one who hasn’t moved on from him for almost 8 years so she’s def not about to move on from him now.
It’s almost like Rick doesn’t think this relationship is an equal win. An equal gift. He understandably feels extremely lucky that a gem like Michonne is his wife. She’s the ultimate treasure to him and brings his life so much value. It’s harder for it to hit him that he is a special treasured gift to Michonne too. That she needs him and feels safest with him and can’t ever move on from him the same way he feels about her.
Plus, this isn’t just a wife's mission, it’s a mother's mission for Michonne. She’s doing this for her kids too. Which takes this to a whole other level. What Rick doesn’t know is when he tells her to go, Michonne also hears the voice of their sweet daughter saying mom go get him and bring him home.
Tumblr media
She hears the adorable voice of RJ confirming that Michonne would do anything for them and their dad.
Tumblr media
And she hears Carl on his deathbed saying she has to be strong for Rick and Judith.
Tumblr media
That’s running through her head always I’m sure and motivating sacrificing time with her kids to bring their father home. She’s not letting her kids down.
Tumblr media
When Rick tried to get her to leave without him he didn’t just get in the way of the mission she has for herself and for him but for their kids and that’s when you’re going to get a pissed Michonne because now you’re interfering with what the kids need which is both their parents.
And no one stops this mother from doing what needs to be done for her kids, not even Rick. It reminds me of The Distance and how that also was Michonne on a mission to provide what her kids needed.
Tumblr media
So it was already so sad to see Michonne alone realizing she’d essentially been duped into leaving without Rick after trusting him and his plan wholeheartedly - but then to see her have to be confronted with this idea that Rick thinks the way she can best show her love is just to leave him behind was just such an added layer of painful.
Michonne makes my heart hurt seeing how sad this all is making her. She truly looks shocked, hurt, and heartbroken over this. And understandably so. After everything she’s been through there’s no way it ends like this.
The acting Danai does is great at this moment as all Michonne can do is stand teary-eyed and repeatedly shake her head with silent bewilderment that Rick would even pull something like this when the Rick she knew would never.
Tumblr media
gif cred: @nat111love
I think something important to note is that while Michonne is the first time Rick’s had a wife who can protect herself, Rick still absolutely feels like it is his job to protect her. Like yes her competence and capability means he can rely on her and lean on her more than his former partner but that doesn’t mean Rick ever would take a backseat to being his wife’s protector. He still wants to keep Michonne safe just as fiercely as had she been someone more defenseless.
We see this throughout the main series in the way Rick always looks out for and checks on Michonne and panics whenever he thinks she’s in danger.
Tumblr media
Again, she’s not a weapon with a weapon to him. He loves and respects that Michonne is strong and a leader, and he also knows that doesn’t mean she’s incapable of being harmed, especially around the CRM. So it is one of his biggest goals to protect her and keep her alive even if she’s capable of doing that herself. As competent as Michonne is, she does need him and feels most safe with him and Rick takes that seriously.
The way it caused conflict in TOWL tho is Rick became so hyper-focused on protecting her that he almost started to treat Michonne like a fragile sculpture that could break at any moment and he started acting like it was only up to him to keep the sculpture intact even if it means leaving her out of the loop and breaking her heart. Which seeing him pull this just had me like...
Tumblr media
Rick knows Michonne is strong but he stopped believing that her strength and his strength and especially their strength together could be a good thing - it just makes them a target hence his actions that were so steeped in fear.
It’s like he overcorrected and while many just see Michonne as some powerful force rather than a person with vulnerabilities, Rick started mainly seeing her as potential vulnerable prey for the CRM rather than a person who also should have a say in how the two of them proceed.
With Rick's beautiful letters that he’d been writing to Michonne the whole time he'd been away, it’s almost like in an innocent way he got used to one-sided communication with his wife. But when Michonne reenters his life he has to relearn that this relationship is very much a two-way street where she can now weigh in and step in as well and he can't make executive decisions like this for her. Just like Rick...
Tumblr media
And her choice is him and their family.
But also thinking about how he’ll later admit how scared he was seeing her return into his life, it hits my heart because I think part of Rick felt scared because he doesn’t think he’s still the same man who could protect her like before. He no longer fully believes he’s the fighter he knows she fell in love with. So he’s still going to try to save her of course, but he's doing so by sending her away rather than figuring out how to break away with her.
Fortunately, Michonne has enough belief for the both of them. And since Michonne went on this mission to find her Rick, she can’t possibly go home because the job is not finished. She found Rick but not her Rick yet, and so she knows she has to stay. And she also has to give Rick a piece of her mind without even saying a word. 👌🏽😅

Ballade of the Lost Child - Prologue
Characters: Niki, Yuzuru Proofreaders: Aru, Oli
Tumblr media
Niki: Nomnom…♪
Kuu~u. This “hashimaki¹” is super yummy! Guess I was lucky there was a food stand here.
It’s so delicious, why don’t more people know about this?
This world truly is weird~. Society should acknowledge “hashimaki” so much more.
It’s a flour-based food and it’s super easy to eat. You can even choose its flavour.
(In falsetto) Welcome ♪ Which flavour sauce would you like? Soy sauce flavour? Or how about cheese? –Hm~m, I just can’t choose!
…Whoops. Woah, that was close. I almost passed that place by accident…!
Nahaha. I suddenly forgot why I’d come out here since I came across such delicious food~.
Ooh, this line is huge!? Is this for those doughy churros that are trending at the moment!?
I thought I could avoid the crowds by coming earlier, but there are already so many people here.
I guess people gather at places with delicious food after all~.
In other words, it’s not an exaggeration to say that “delicious food creates world peace”...!
Right, this is no time to be messing around. I need to get in line before it gets too long.

Yuzuru: Let’s see. I believe all the necessary purchases should be complete by now.
One, two, three… I bought this too, and that one just a moment ago. This one was sold out, so I shall have to come back at a later date.
… Hm, it appears all is in order. I don’t seem to have left any oversights.
Niki: I’m really looking forward to it~. Coming across new food is always so exciting. ♪
Yuzuru: Oh my, do I hear a familiar voice?
Ah, so it belongs to Shiina-sama. He seems to be at the end of a queue.
Season Avenue is always bustling. Hence it’s odd to see so many people lined up in a single queue.
They all seem to be queueing outside that stand. I wonder what exactly is being sold?
If Shiina-sama is lining up, it’s likely to be some type of food or drink.
… (Looking around)
… The people who’ve moved away from the stand all seem to have brightly-coloured sweets in their hands.
From their shape, I would guess they were donuts… No, perhaps churros?
Churros…? Come to think of it, I believe the Young Master mentioned those the other day…
Something about a speciality store selling cute churros on Season Avenue.
I see. He must’ve been referring to this stand.
……
Hm… He truly seemed to want to eat them, so perhaps I’ll buy them as a gift for the Young Master.
I wouldn’t usually let him eat this kind of thing, but…
Recently, he seems to be putting more and more effort into both his studies and work. Why not spoil him once in a while…♪
Shiina-sama.

Niki: Huh? Fushimi-kun?
How strange seeing you here~? Did you also come to try the churros?
Yuzuru: I believe they would be a good gift for the Young Master. Would you mind if I accompanied you?
Niki: That’s fine by me~, let’s get these trending churros together! A journey is most fun with a companion after all²…♪
Yuzuru: It’s not a journey, we’re merely waiting together in line.
Niki: Nope nope. This line is the “Food Road”! In other words, it’s kind of like the Silk Road³, isn’t it?
Yuzuru: Well, um. Are you trying to compare this long queue to a road?
Niki: Yup!
Yuzuru: sighs. Since the “Silk Road” isn’t about food, but rather silk, I feel like it’s a bit of a strange analogy in the first place.
Niki: It’s instinct, Fushimi-kun. I thought I should express it to you in some way or another. Anyway, I don’t really care as long as we can get these churros.
Yuzuru: Please stop talking based solely on reflex⁴.
I don’t often find myself surrounded by your type, Shiina-sama. If I had to say, Hibiki-sama comes the closest.
Niki: Really?
I don’t keep any company that’s like Fushimi-kun~. I only have irresponsible and weird people around me.
Oh well, thanks to that I can usually take it pretty easy, so that’s a plus.
Yuzuru: By the way, Shiina-sama. It seems that most people here are eating their churros as they leave, so do you know if I could order them to go?
Since they’re not for me to eat and are instead a gift for the Young Master, I’d like to get them for takeout if possible.
Niki: Hmm~? Is that so? I was also planning on eating while walking around here.
Truthfully, this kind of food is usually eaten on the spot or while walking, so I’m not sure if they’d be alright to take home.
Ah, Fushimi-kun. Take a look at that guy over there!
Yuzuru: Sure.
Niki: It looks like he only just bought some churros.
They’re wrapped in a paper bag from the stand too! I bet that means you can get them to go–
Man: Uwahh!?
Niki: Eh, what happened!? A fight!?
That guy was shoved over and knocked down by another man in black!?
Man: My bag! Wait, get back here! Bag thief!
Niki and Yuzuru: A bag thief!?
Tumblr media
-----
¹ Hashimaki is Okonomiyaki wrapped around chopsticks
² Japanese proverb which means something alone the lines of “no road is long with good company”
³ The Silk Road was a series of trade routes connecting Europe and Asia spanning over 6,400km (4,000 mi) named for its primary use of trading silk. Niki is trying to liken the queue that they’re standing in to a long road where food will be traded at the end.
⁴The literal translation of what Yuzuru says is for Niki to stop talking based on “spinal reflexes”. These reflexes being involuntary and based on instinct without input from the brain. It’s effectively the same phrase as “knee-jerk reaction” in English.

House Party
Steve Harrington x Fem Reader
Summary: See, you and Steve go to this really lame party, right? And you both wanna ditch it, right? And he’s got that really nice car, right?
A/N: Hey Tumblr, have my first foray into writing Steve. I intend to write him more, this was me getting me feet wet. Among other things….
Warnings: Sex, voyeurism, language, a little tiny teeny bit of dacryphilia.
NSFW 18+ No Minors Allowed
This party is lame, and you both know it. Steve had taken you only because you’d asked to go but as soon as you two had stepped over the threshold it was apparent this was a bunch of try-hards.
“Do you wanna get out of here?” It’s spoken against your ear, a hush of hot breath that’s tinted with cheap beer. You barely have to turn your head to catch his eye. His stare is heavy, loaded with his unasked question.
“It does kinda suck.” You hush back at him, your half empty cup bouncing against your fingers. “Sorry, I wouldn’t have asked if I’d known.”
“Hey, it’s not a big deal.” He brings a hand up to run a long finger down the line of your nose lightly. “I just figure, I don’t know…” He gives you an exaggerated shrug.
“Cat got your tongue?”
“No, but it could if we got out of here.” He wiggles his eyebrows and you slap his chest.
“Steve.”
“What?! You don’t want to be here either and I have like, two other ideas that are so much better than…whatever the hell this sad gathering is.” He casts a look around at everyone before his eyes land back on you. He’s letting his annoyance out, not schooling his face in the least bit and you can’t help but grin at him and his effortless disgust. Instead of saying anything you just grab his cup and set both drinks down before silently gesturing to the front door.
“Oh seriously?” He changes his tune quick when he realizes you’re indulging him. Really you’re indulging both of you, but you can let him think he won you over.
Steve makes a quick exit, doesn’t even bother pretending to say goodbye or giving you a moment to say anything. He drags you out of the house while you laugh at his eagerness. Weaving through the parked cars to get to his beemer you get a great view of his ass, poured into his stonewashed Levi’s and can’t help but catch up enough to sneak your hand into his back pocket and pinch him.
“Hey!” He shoots over his shoulder but doesn’t bat your hand away. You do it again and he laughs. “Just wait.” A simple warning that you won’t heed. What’s the worst he’s gonna do, eat you out in the back of his car at the lake?
Okay, and?
You laugh to yourself and Steve pulls you a little harder when he spots his car.
“I’m serious.”
“Oh yeah?”
“Yeah.” He stops at the back passenger door to open it for you, but he’s not smiling his normal. Where that goofy sunshine typically is he’s showing teeth under a smirk. That gives you pause but just long enough for him to gesture into his car for you to get in.
“You’re letting all the bugs in, honey.”
You barely get your legs in before he’s shutting the door and walking around to the driver side, sliding in quick. He looks at you in the rear view. “Can you roll that down?” He points at the window on your left.
“Oh, to let the bugs in?” You joke at him. He doesn’t laugh but he does smile at you, more smirk when you roll it halfway down anyways.
“Maybe.”
“What are you up to?” You ask him, leaning forward to wind your finger in the hair brushing his collar.
“Why don’t you get comfortable.” He won’t acknowledge your question, just keeps glancing in the mirror to watch you staring at the side of his head.
“You gonna take me out to the lake?” He starts his car and lets it run for minute while you toy around with his hair, running your finger over the shell of his ear. “Oh, maybe the quarry? That’d be a nice change of pace.” You’re poking a little, trying to get a rise out of him so maybe he’ll tell you his plan. Instead he just props his elbow up on the center console and lays his palm back.
“Give ‘em to me.” He’s pulled off and started driving slowly.
“Give you what?” You lean back to give him a confused look.
He makes a grabby hand at you. “Panties.”
“What.”
“You heard me. Hand them over.” He won’t look at you, diligent driver keeping his eyes on the dead roads of this sprawling neighborhood.
“Are you gonna be a creep and sniff ‘em or something?” Even though your sarcasm bleeds through your words you’re still bunching up your dress to hook your fingers into the waistband to pull them down. “What if I wasn’t wearing any?”
“Then I’d ask for your bra.” He still won’t look at you. Doesn’t even flinch when the body warm silk hits his hand, just scrunches up the fabric and folds his arm down onto his knee.
“Steve?” You singsong from the back seat. He grunts, waiting for your snappy one liner. Instead he sees your bare foot, now shed of its slip on nightmare, sliding over the back of the passenger seat in his peripheral. He glances up then and sucks in a breath that turns into a deep chuckle.
“Oh you wanna play like that?” He misses your nod, the way you bite down on your lip and make doe eyes at him. He’s stuck on your hand running lazy lines up and down your pussy, dipping down to gather up the slick drooling out of you. “Okay.”
You aren’t paying attention to anything except your hand and the back of Steve’s head. Any little glance he shoots you in the mirror, any little twitch of his shoulders. You haven’t noticed him making a big circle back to the house you’d just left and back into the gaggle of parked cars. You barely even register he’s stopped the car until he’s curving his broad shoulders up and over between the front seats, crowding your bared thighs up against your body.
“You’re sick of the lake, I get it.” He says and you can still smell the beer on his breath. It makes your breathing pick up until he runs his big hands up the back of your thighs and your heart races. When he hits the back of your knees he pushes your legs out to make room for him so he can crouch on the floorboard.
“Steve you can’t be comfor-oh!”
He wastes no time running the flat of his tongue over your center. Your head falls against the back dash, rolling between the headrest when he flicks the tip of his tongue over your clit making you gasp into the window. He grabs your left hand and makes you hold your leg behind the knee. The little slip of your leg forward has him taking his mouth off of you and you whine.
“Hold your leg or I’m gonna let this whole party know what you’re doing back here.”
“Wh-“ You pick your head up and look out the partially rolled down window. Parked across from the house party, between street lamps. There’s a few people milling around out front and some around the cars and all of them are far too close. Steve sees you’re distracted for a moment and decides to sink two fingers in when he starts mouthing at your pussy again. The yelp you let out causes the two people closest to the car to look over but they don’t move.
“Keep your leg up.” Steve says from between your thighs, fingers working up their pace. Your mouth drops open and all you can do is nod at him the way he’s nodding at you, that smirk still on his face. The wet sound of his fingers curling inside of you make you groan and he mocks you as nicely as he can.
“Aw, that’s good huh?”
“Steve.”
“What’s that?” His thumb rubs down firmly on your clit while his mouth leaves a wet trail on your inner thigh, the occasional bite into the soft flesh making you jump and whimper. When your grip starts to slip again he ‘tsk’s’ at you.
“What’d I say?” He warns just as he picks up the pace of his hand, pumping his fingers faster. He dips his head again to lap at your folds before zeroing in on your clit, sucking hard and flicking his tongue. Your eyes roll back on a deep groan and there’s no way the people on the front lawn didn’t hear it. Steve laughs against you and lets you get a few more loud sounds out before he takes pity on you. Dropping your leg on his shoulder he works his free hand up and stuffs the ball of silk in your open mouth, stifling the long groan of his name quickly.
“Here, I’ll help you out. See if you can stay quiet with these.” He can feel you clenching down on his fingers when he clamps his palm over your mouth. “You like it when I shove things in your mouth?” The vibrations under his hand tell him all he needs to know. Between his tongue and his thumb he gets you teetering on the edge, your thighs shaking around his head.
“Gotta keep your leg up or I’m not gonna let you cum.” Your wide eyes make him laugh. Behind him you try to point your toes to help keep your leg braced but he notices, of course.
“No cheating.” He gives your inner thigh a love tap. From his vantage point he can see the strain you’re under, your knuckles white and grasping at your slick flesh and suddenly his jeans are just too tight, his own strain unbearable.
“Is it too much honey?” Steve sits up as best he can to keep his hand over your mouth and his fingers in your cunt. You make a desperate sound and he decides to cut you some slack. “Just nod yes, I promise it’ll be worth it.” He unfolds himself from the floor, pushes his broad body into yours until you don’t need to hold your leg anymore. You’re nodding yes yes yes as he moves you over and down, fingers still curling up into that sweet spot. He drags the hand down from your face to the top of your dress and pulls it so he can get at your chest.
“Be a doll, get my belt?” He asks breathlessly.
It’s like you forgot you had hands you could use. There’s a pause for you to think about what he’s asking before you dive down and undo the buckle and attack his jeans. You barely get the waistband of his boxers down before your release creeps up fast. Your hand curled around his thick length when his fingers hit you just right and you go motionless for a moment before you melt into his backseat, chest heaving and trying to breathe around the underwear in your mouth.
He’s slapped your hand out of the way so he can shimmy his pants down enough, cock heavy in his grip when he slides himself over you to prod at your sensitive clit. “Come on honey, tell me. Want me to fuck you?”
You groan around the fabric and nod.
“In front of all these people?” He nudges your hole, can feel you fluttering at the barest push, has to hold himself back from sinking right into you. You keep nodding, fingers grabbing at his polo and trying to lace into the few locks of hair dangling in his face. You want him nearer, you want him inside, you want him to kiss you or fuck you, anything but run his mouth at you.
“Roll the window down.” He’s waiting, cock in hand, smirking at your indignation. “They deserve to hear you loud and clear.” You’ve been moved so you’re laying in your back, angled so you have to bend awkward to turn the handle. But Steve is doing his thing where he’ll wait you out, make himself wait and you wait and the whole universe wait until you do what he asked.
You make a noise that sounds like a question and he just laughs before you roll your eyes and stretch your arm back to turn it. You get the handle turned once before he’s gripping you to keep you in place so he can sink in slow.
“Oh fuck. Baby, so wet for me.” His eyes roll back while you preen under him. Watching his mouth fall open and his hips twitch forward. He takes his time getting fully seated, pulling your leg around his waist so he can get as deep as possible.
When his cock nudges deep inside you let out a deep grunt and when he finally rolls his hips you keen around your underwear.
“God you really can’t keep quiet can you?” Steve asks before bracing his hands on your knees so he can drive into you. The cramped angle your at, head shoved into the door and knees slowly sinking up to your chest has you making little pathetic noises that Steve laughs breathily at.
“You like that?”
Your grip on the lever for the window loosens and a muffled ‘yes’ comes from you.
“‘Course you do, all these people around.” He’s not taking it easy on you. “Want them to know who’s fuckin’ you?” You’re sensitive and when he drives deep it makes your eyes water and your chest rattle with deep grunts. If these people can’t hear you they’re definitely getting a show. Steve doesn’t duck under the level of the windows and your hands grip along the edge, fingernails scratching at the burgundy paint outside.
“You cryin’ about it?” He asks when an errant tear falls away and down your temple. “Dick that good?” All you can do is nod at him while he pushes your knees further back so he can get a better view of you taking him.
“Never gets old, pretty all over, honey.” He pants, letting a hand drop between you two so he can rub tight circles clit. It makes your legs jump around his hips and his laugh is all breath blown over your heated skin. “You gonna cum again? Come on, show me how good it feels.” His deft fingers don’t let up just like his rolling hips don’t let up just like his filthy mouth doesn’t let up. He coaxes you right up to the edge again and doesn’t pause his hand when you spasm around him, teeth bared around your underwear. “Oh I know, I know it’s good.” He keeps going even when you hiss and pull your legs together instinctively and he groans, long and low when you clench down on him.
“Shit, keep that up your gonna make me cum-“
Through the ringing in your ears you hear the whimper on the end of his words. Your hands find his shirt to pull him down close and he ends up rutting into you while you continue clenching and he’s quickly following you. A faltering of his hips and you feel him twitch inside, spilling hot and fast. He tries to kiss you but forgets about your full mouth and ends up dotting the corner of your mouth and cheek while he comes down.
His full weight isn’t on you but he’s still heavy and unmoving for a few minutes while you both cool off. In the distance there’s a long wolf whistle and someone clapping and Steve groans into your ear before picking his head up to look at you. He pulls a corner of the fabric to unspool it from your mouth, flinging the damp bunch onto the floorboard.
“Please don’t forget those in here.” You rasp, mouth dry while he kisses you between words.
“Yeah that’s the last thing I need, fucking Henderson finding those.” Both of you groan then, picturing explaining it to his shitty little grinning face. Steve sits up first and gets situated before he helps you sit up against the door, looping his arm behind you to roll the window up jerkily. You watch him dazedly, a smitten grin plastered to your cheeks.
“What are you grinnin’ at?” He mumbles while he pulls your dress down from your hips.
“You. That was fun.”
“You like an audience?” He raises a cocky eyebrow and you push his shoulder back.
“No…” Your eyes trail down the long line of his nose. “Maybe. It was thrilling.”
“Is that what the kids are calling it now?” He kisses you up against the window for a few minutes before climbing back over to the front seat, patting the passenger seat once he’s situated. When you don’t move right off he shoots a look at you through the rear view. “You coming up?”
“Uh, well I might be making more of a mess if I do.” You glance down at the crumpled pile of your underwear on the floor and think about him not pulling out.
“Mm. Well, if you come up here maybe I’ll take you out to quarry and help you clean up, yeah?” He says nonchalantly. Adjusts his seat and his jeans, puts his seatbelt on and turns the key in the ignition and turns to stare at you over his shoulder.
“Do I just need to take you to more lame parties to get this treatment?” You ask while you try to wiggle up to the front seat with some kind of modesty. Steve just watches while you fall into the seat finally and chuckles before grabbing your knee.
“Care to test that theory?”

Fic Request
I received four requests from some lovely anons, all asking for a fic that had Gale being reminded of his childhood/father and Bucky comforting him.
So....I took those and turned it into this! Featuring: Gale low key falling apart a bit, angst, some feral!Buck and Bucky being soft with his boy. My first lengthy Pre-Relationship version of the boys. Hope you enjoy!
Word Count: 5,776
Gale doesn’t want to think about that boy anymore. Yet, at the same time he feels like he should think about that boy every day. And he doesn’t even know his name.
It’s cold and wet. The early morning fog is hanging in the air and casting its dew upon the wool of his uniform. Eggs, coffee, chat with the men. That’s what he needs to do right now. Then it’s a leader’s brief, a group brief, equipment checks. That’s what he needs to do next. Then it’s preflight checks, take off, try not die, drop bombs and make it back to England. That’s what he needs to do after that. Simple when he thinks of it logically. Terrifying if he thinks about it any other way.
The first step of his plan is stalled when the sight of a young airmen sitting alone on a bench outside of the DFAC catches his eye. Men pass by the bench with a weary glance and a quickening pace and Gale can’t blame them. Everyone has their own ritual they complete within themselves in order to get back into those forts and acknowledging their mortality by watching a man cry isn’t one of them.
But Gale is a leader and even if he wasn’t, he couldn’t leave another human being alone to stew in misery unless they asked him to. Maybe not even then.
He approaches the young man and stops a few feet in front of the bench he’s parked himself on. Gale notes that he’s in his flight suit and sheepskin, ready for the mission. At least in body, not so much in spirit.
“You eat yet, Sergeant?”
Big brown eyes meet his and he shuffles his feet a bit when he’s greeted with a trembling lip.
“Tried to, Major. Got sick.”
“First mission?” Gale questions, but he knows the answer. He’s never seen this kid before.
A jerky nod is given with a shaky exhale and Gale silently prays that more tears don’t fall. He’s never been any good at dealing with people, but especially not when they cry.
“You enjoy the fresh air for a few more minutes. Catch your breath and try again.” Gale keeps his voice level and firm, but not hard. He doesn’t lead with an iron grip unless the situation warrants it. A soft touch gets him what he wants more often than not.
“I’m scared.” That lip trembles again and Gale wishes this kid was back home. Wishes all of them were back home. Except himself, he doesn’t much care for his home.
“I know,” Gale gives him a small smile. “We all are. Keep your head up, remember your training. Lean on your crew and let them lean back. You’ll be okay.”
He sees this kid’s eyes change. He’s been buoyed by his words, and he believes him. Gale doesn’t understand why, but he has this effect on others. They want to trust him, want to follow him and they do it happily. He watches the moment this scared kid straightens his spine and decides he’s going to do what Major Cleven said and eat his eggs, drink his coffee, go to his brief, climb into a fort and try not to die.
“Thank you, Major.”
Gale gives him a nod and leaves him to compose himself, hoping Bucky has saved him a seat by his side so he can get himself composed as well.
In the end, he’d lied. That scared young man with the trembling lip had been blown out of the sky before he ever had a chance to even fire a bullet. No chutes, just fire and death for him and the rest of the crew Gale told him to lean on.
His feet carry him towards the pub, but his steps aren’t his usual steady gait. He doesn’t feel like himself. Or maybe he does. He feels like he used to feel, before he made himself someone new. When he too was a scared kid on a bench somewhere.
“Can I come in this time?”
Just shy of fourteen years old, gangly and thin, too short and too timid, the rough around his bicep moves him easily where it wants him to go. He’s pulled to a metal bench and pushed onto it, though his body reflexively shifts back up, trying to escape the cold that immediately burns through his thin trousers and into the backs of his thighs.
His father’s hand moves to his shoulder and forces him back, not looking at him, gaze already focused on the door to the bar across the empty street.
“I’m not taking you in there,” his father says, turning his gaze on him, eyes hard and unfocused. “This place is for men.”
“I’m a man,” Gale straightens his shoulders and meets the man’s gaze straight on. He wishes his voice would hurry up and get deeper like the other boy’s voices in class started to over summer.
His father barks out a laugh and Gale leans further back against the bench in an attempt to avoid the spit that flew from his mouth. It wasn’t an invitation, but his father takes it as one and leans into his space, face close enough Gale can make out the yellowed spots on his cheeks and the spot he’s missed shaving on his chin.
“Didn’t look like much of a man when I caught you giggling over those girly magazines with Marjorie this morning. Teenager closes his bedroom door with a girl inside, I’d expect to find something more fun goin’ on in there than that.”
Gale cringes away at the vulgar implication in his words more than at the cheap whiskey on his breath. He looks down at his lap, refusing to meet his father’s eyes.
“Then what’d I even have to come for? It’s cold.” He’s proud of himself that it doesn’t sound like a whine when the words leave his mouth.
“I might need you for collateral,” his father straightens back up and his spine pops at the action. He pulls a cigarette from his pack and lights it, takes a drag and blows the smoke directly down at this son. “But I can’t take a pansy like you in there. Those men will eat you alive. So, stay here until I’m through.”
Gale watches him stumble over the curb, into the street and disappear behind the door to the bar. He takes a steadying breath and wills away the moisture in eyes.
He lifts his feet up to the bench and wraps his arms around his legs, rests his chin on his knee and wonders if there will ever be a time when he’s capable of standing up for himself.
He watches the door across the road and makes a mental note to ask Marjorie if she knows what collateral means tomorrow when they meet at the river.
The pavement is wet beneath his dress shoes, an unpleasant squeak sounding each time his left foot makes contact. He wishes suddenly for sneakers and some comfortable clothes from home. Something worn, fabric that didn’t mean anything when it adorned his body. The dress uniform that usually makes him feel like he belongs somewhere, like he finally fits in the world, feels restricting and wrong on him this evening.
He doesn’t want to be here. He’s not sure why he is here. Their last mission had been two days ago, and they’d lost two forts, all replacements that he’d barely even noticed before there was nothing to notice at all. They’d all spent the last two days debriefing and healing and resting and tonight, the men had all wanted to let loose. A trip to the pub had been the exact opposite of what Gale had wanted. It was still the exact opposite of what he wanted.
When Bucky had begged him to come, he’d turned him down firmer than usual. He’d felt a buzzing under his skin that he couldn’t shake since he’d landed back safe on base, and he wasn’t in the mood for the swinging pendulum between safety and mortal peril that their lives had become these days. He didn’t want to watch everyone around him get drunk and dance and flirt when in two days he’d be watching them fight and cry and bleed and die. He wanted to be alone for a while. Bucky’s sad eyes at his refusal hadn’t swayed him this time.
Only once Bucky had followed the rest of the men out the door and headed for the pub, once Gale had showered and laid in his cot with his book, once he was left in the quiet of the vacant billet, he realized that he hadn’t wanted to be alone at all. He’d wanted to be alone with Bucky.
Once the realization hit, it was like his feet had carried him to the pub without his permission. He didn’t feel like himself, didn’t feel calm or level-headed or reasonable. He just wanted to be near Bucky because Bucky always made him feel okay.
He stops outside the door, hand reaching for the knob. Feeling suddenly self-conscious, he drops his hand and steps around the corner into the alley. He leans against the wall and takes a breath, then another. What is he doing here? Seeking out his best friend because, what? Why? Because he wants Bucky to make him feel better? Pathetic.
He imagines Bucky’s face when he sees Gale walk through the door. His grin would be genuine, one of the big ones that takes up his whole face and makes Gale feel warm inside. But then his brow would furrow and he’d be immediately concerned. Because Gale didn’t want to be here. Because Gale had walked here, not even bothering to ride his bike. And even though Bucky makes him feel better, it would take a while, and his friend would offer to leave with him.
He’s going to walk into the pub and ruin Bucky’s evening.
Just as he’s making the decision to not be selfish, to go back and deal with his fucked-up head and let his friends enjoy their night out, two bodies stumble passed him into the alley. Both men are laughing as they light their cigarettes, and they seem drunk enough that they don’t notice Gale.
He pushes off the wall, ready to start his long walk back to base when a heavily accented voice halts his movement.
“Looks like they’re pulling their replacements right out of primary school,” one the men, RAF, Gale assumes, laughs into the cold air. Gale’s fists clench. “And they’re being led by that Major Moustache that hangs off his men like they’re a bunch of ladies. Is it an American thing or do they just get too lonely on that side of the base?”
The buzzing under Gale’s skin feels like a live wire. Thoughts of their first evening out, when he’d been ready to square-off with the RAF pilot that had insulted his friends, his men, flit across his brain. Images of Curt smiling and hollering after he’d leveled him with one punch. Images of Curt, blown to bits a month later.
“No wonder they’re dropping like flies.”
Before he can think better of it, he steps into the light and is met by twin looks of surprise that quickly morph into grins as they take him in. They’re unsteady, can’t stand still, and Gale can smell the whiskey even through the cigarette smoke that fills the space between them.
“Major Buck Cleven!”
Gale squares his shoulders and moves his hand to his pocket, securing a toothpick and placing it between his teeth.
“Your namesake said you weren’t coming out this evening, Buck.” They stumble closer to him and Gale bristles at their tone.
“Wasn’t planning on it,” Gale returns, keeping his voice low and unaffected. He wishes he could control the rest of him as well as he could his face, his voice. Right now, he’s angry and he doesn’t want to be. He can feel the hands in his pockets shaking.
“You going in?” The man closest to him gestures to the end of the alley. “I’m sure your friend is in there, just waiting to get his hands on you.”
Gale narrows his eyes at him, takes him in and realizes that both of these men had been at their table that first evening. He’d thought they’d been the more level-headed of the bunch but apparently Gale will always be proven right in his assumption that enough whiskey can turn a good man ugly.
“Don’t see much of a reason to stay out here,” he replies, not rising to the bait. He’s used to newcomers, to strangers being shocked in the face of the affection of John Egan. He’s used to them being judgmental of it. But the carefree way that John Egan loves, that Bucky makes sure you know he cares about you is one of Gale’s favorite things about him and tonight isn’t a good night for him to be in the face of someone that wants to ridicule it.
“Could give you a reason to stay out here,” the same man offers. He’s still grinning, but he’s looking as unstable as Gale’s been feeling the last two days. Maybe they’re all cracking, looking for an outlet. But Gale’s outlet is on the other side of the wall, and he isn’t one to use violence as one ever. He’s on edge, but he knows his safest bet is to put himself in Bucky’s orbit until his mind silences.
“I ain’t gonna fight you,” Gale moves the toothpick in his mouth from one side to the other. “But I’d ask you to stop talkin’ about my men the way you just were. We’re all here to do a job. It’s shit enough for them without their own allies tearing ‘em down.”
With some satisfaction he watches as his words land and the quitter of the two men looks chagrined. He takes a step back, hand going to his friend’s shoulder and tugging.
“Not surprised you won’t fight, Major,” the talkative airman shrugs the hand off his shoulder and takes a step into Gale’s space. “You let your rude little friend do the fighting for you. Where’s he been? Haven’t seen him around in while.”
Gale grits his teeth so hard he feels the toothpick snap in his mouth.
“I told you to stop talking about my men,” he grinds out. He hears a ringing in his ears and he knows he needs to remove himself from this situation before he makes a mess he can’t clean up. He moves to turn away, can’t decide if he should go to Bucky or go back to base, just knows he needs to forget about sad kids on benches and whiskey and collateral and everything else.
But a hand wraps around his bicep and stops him in his tracks and whiskey breath gets too close to his face and a taunting voice, laced with venom says, “What men? All I saw in there were a bunch of pansy boys.”
And the strange ringing in his ears and the buzzing under his skin and his thoughts all clear until all he sees is red. He doesn’t even remember taking his hands out of his pockets.
Bucky’s not having a good time. Well, objectively speaking, he is having a good time. The RAF pilots that had been giving them a hard time had walked out the door a few minutes ago, leaving them in peace. He’s got a whiskey and Benny and Hambone just finished a duet on the bar, much to the bartender’s ire. And everyone around him, all of his men, are smiling and laughing and for a moment, they don’t look like they’ve lost half their friends in the last three months.
So that’s a good time. But he wishes Gale was here. Or he wishes he was with Gale, somewhere else. His best friend isn’t doing well. He hasn’t been himself the last couple of days, like he’s having a harder than usual time shaking the mission off. And Bucky can’t blame him. He drinks and smokes and fucks too much to ever blame Gale for having a bad reaction to a mission. He just wishes Gale would talk to him, would let him help, because he knows he could.
He sees that Gale relaxes around him. His smile comes easier when Bucky is next to him. He doesn’t really let anyone put a hand on him outside of a friendly pat, and yet he seeks out Bucky’s touch.
And Bucky tries not to read too much into it, no matter how much he wants there to be something to read into. But sometimes, he thinks that Gale wants the same thing as him. Just that they’re both too chickenshit to ask for it.
He sighs and takes a sip of his whiskey, only his second of the evening despite having been here for over an hour.
He thinks of Gale and the way he’d told him ‘no’ this evening. Told him that he wanted to be alone and thinks about how much it had stung. Because he loves Gale, and it’s really fucking hard when the other man pushes him away.
“Fight!” Bucky looks up as one of the replacements he doesn’t even know yet yells from the doorway. He takes another sip of his drink and rolls his eyes. He hasn’t had enough whiskey to be in the mood for this. “Fight in the alley! I think it’s Major Cleven!”
Bucky’s on his feet in an instant and headed for the door a moment later. He shoves anyone in his way out of his path and doesn’t bother looking back or apologizing.
It must be a mistake, Gale’s not here. Gale doesn’t fight people in back alleys. And he definitely doesn’t do stupid shit like this unless Bucky is with him, starting it.
But his long legs have him out the door and around the corner of the pub in under a minute and his mind blanks for a moment as he acknowledges that it wasn’t a mistake. It is Gale in the alley, except it hardly looks like a fight.
He pushes past two other men just in time to see Gale shove a man in a British uniform away from him and turn back to the other British airman he has pinned to the ground. His best friend, who he’d left at the barracks, is on the ground, dress uniform dirty and wet, knees on the pavement. He’s got one arm straight, hand fisted in the collar of the RAF pilot that had been harassing Bucky inside, and he’s bringing his closed fist to his face again and again.
Bucky stands in shock for a moment before he kicks himself into gear and rushes forward. He doesn’t pause or hesitate, he leans down, wraps one arm around Gale’s chest, the other around his waist and pulls. He reels as the man now firmly in his hold struggles against him like a wild thing, but he uses his considerable size and the fact that he outweighs Gale by a good thirty pounds to his advantage and backs away from the scene until his own body collides with the alley wall.
“Buck,” he whispers fiercely into the other man’s ear, feels sweaty blond strands against his mouth. Gale continues to struggle, breathing heavy and Bucky tightens his grip and shakes him. “Buck, cut it out! It’s me, it’s Bucky.”
Whether it’s his voice or his tone or his words or some combination, Bucky doesn’t know, but it’s like Gale’s strings are cut and he goes still in his hold. His chest is heaving, and Bucky can feel him trembling against his chest, but he’s not fighting him anymore.
“John?” Gale’s voice, rough and raspy reaches his ears and Bucky loosens his arms but doesn’t let him go. He’s so confused and he’s so happy he’s not drunk right now.
“Yeah, you fuckin’ loony,” Bucky growls into his hair. “What the fuck is going on?”
Gale doesn’t answer him, his breathing quickens and Bucky’s worried he’s going to start hyperventilating.
“Should call the goddamn MPs on you!” An angry, pained filled voice shouts at them and Bucky snaps his head back to look down at the RAF pilot still on the ground. He’s got one elbow under him and his friend is moving in to assist. Bucky can’t help but grimace as he takes in his face. Blood is pouring from his nose like a faucet, his teeth are painted red and his left eye is already starting to swell. “Or the white coats. Not right in the fucking head that one.”
He gestures at Gale and Bucky feels him stiffen in his hold, breathing still too fast.
Bucky glares down at the man on the ground and growls.
“Don’t you fucking dare.” He doesn’t know what happened out here, but he knows Gale. Has to believe he didn’t do this unprovoked.
“He’s not fit!” The other man yells back, stumbling as his friend finally helps him get to his feet.
“Shut your fuckin’ mouth,” Bucky yells back. He shifts his hold on Gale, lets him go just long enough to push him behind himself. “You gotta go through me and the whole bloody 100th if you even think about reporting this.”
His tone is dark, menacing. But this man is threatening Gale. His Gale. His Gale who just beat the shit out of someone when he was supposed to be in fucking bed. His mind is spinning.
“Not many of you left to go through,” the man sneers and spits blood at Bucky’s feet.
Bucky feels Gale shift behind him so he leans back, pressing him closer to the alley wall, silencing him. He needs to get him out of here.
“Don’t you fucking dare.” He puts every ounce of venom into his tone, makes it a threat and glares at both men. Then he reaches back until his finger can grasp the lapel of Gale’s uniform and he tugs.
He drags Gale out of the alley and down the street. Drags him passed Benny and Brady and Dougie and Hambone, meeting their wide eyes with a glare and a shake of his head. A look on his face that he hopes says, “don’t follow us and don’t cause any more trouble.”
He drags him for what must be a quarter mile before he changes direction and heads for the abandoned barn right before the tree line. Gale finally becomes an active participant right as they reach the barn. Bucky stumbles as Gale shoves him enough to dislodge the grip he had on the other’s jacket.
“Buck,” Bucky lifts his hands and steps toward his friend, but Gale raises a hand to wave him off and a moment later he’s spinning around and hunched over, vomiting into the grass.
Bucky grimaces and approaches slowly, reaching out to place a hand on Gale’s back. But Gale jerks away from his touch and then retches again.
“Don’t touch me,” Gale grinds out, voice wrecked. Bucky peeks around and his frown deepens as he takes in the bile that left Gale’s body. And nothing but bile. He’d noticed he hadn’t had much of an appetite, but now he’s adding too many things to his list of things to worry about when it comes to his best friend.
After a few minutes, Gale straightens and wipes his sleeve over his mouth, back still to Bucky.
“You gotta talk to me here, Buck.” Bucky begs. “I’m real fuckin’ lost.”
He can see the way Gale’s shoulders are shaking and he wants to reach out and touch, but he’d been asked not to, and he won’t do anything Gale doesn’t want him to.
“C’mon, Buck, please.” Bucky tries again, hands going to his hips to keep himself from reaching out again. “You’re kinda scaring me.”
“I’m fine.” Gale tells him, finally turning around, but not meeting his eyes. Bucky can see that his lip is split, but other than that his face looks fine. A little pale, a little clammy from being sick, but still as beautiful as ever.
Bucky looks down at where Gale’s hands hang at his sides and takes in the ruined knuckles, blood running down some of his fingers.
“You’re clearly not fine.”
“Let it go,” Gale meets his eyes for a moment but is unable to hold the contact. “I said I’m okay.”
“Alright, fine, you’re okay!” Bucky wanted to grip Gale’s shoulders, finally not feeling the need to restrain him, he just wanted to touch him for the sake of touching him. “But I’m not.”
Gale’s blue eyes, still a little wild and not completely clear, snap back to his.
“I’m a little fucking concerned that my sweetheart of a best friend was just beating some schmuck to a pulp in an alley. That ain’t like you, Buck.”
“Maybe it is,” Gale’s jaw sets and the look in his eyes is downright stubborn. “Maybe you just haven’t been paying attention.”
Bucky can’t help but laugh at that.
“Trust me, Buck. I’m always paying attention to you.”
Gale’s blue eyes widen a fraction at his words, and he tilts his head, assessing Bucky. He takes a breath and then another and then another and Bucky realizes he’s doing the breathing exercise the flight surgeon taught them to get themselves steady before a flight.
Bucky can see the tremors wracking his frame and he’s sweating, even though he’s starting to shiver. And Bucky just can’t take it.
“It’s not like you, Buck.” He starts, taking a step closer to Gale so that he’s within arm’s reach. “It’s not. Because you’re the kindest, smartest and downright sweetest guy I know. So, no matter what fucked up message your brain is sending you right now, this wasn’t like you. I don’t know what happened, but you can tell me, and I’ll believe you and no matter what, I ain’t gonna think any less of you.”
Gale’s eyes look brighter, bigger when they look into his, but he closes them and takes one more deep breath and then he nods. The tension, the fight leaves his body and when he opens his eyes back up to look at Bucky, he just looks sad.
“Can I please touch you now?”
“Why?”
“Because you’re breaking my fucking heart.” Bucky breathes out and then he shrugs. “And because I really want to.”
Gale looks at him for a beat and then he shrugs too. But then he nods and Bucky closes the gap immediately. He wraps his arms around Gale’s shoulders and buries one hand in that soft hair, and pulls him against his chest. He breathes easy for the first time since he’d stepped into that alley when Gale’s arms come up and wrap around his waist and a cold nose is turned into his neck.
Bucky can feel he’s still trembling, but he feels him getting steadier, so he just holds on and breathes him in.
“My head was all fucked up before I even ran into them,” Gale mumbles into his neck. “I wasn’t thinking straight and they said some things that made me so angry. And I guess I snapped.”
Bucky scratched his blunt fingernails against Gale’s scalp for a moment.
“What had your head all fucked up, Buck?”
Tension enters the slim frame in his arms again, so he continues to run his fingers through the shorter hairs at the base of his neck.
“I really don’t want to talk about it, Bucky.”
Bucky wants to shake him again, wants to groan and complain. Because it seems like sometimes, Gale keeps so many damn secrets from him. But right now, he got Gale to go from acting like a wild animal to being docile and content in arms, so he chooses not push it. Not right now anyway.
But they can’t stand here all night, so reluctantly, he pulls away. His heart breaks a little when Gale immediately pulls himself back at the slightest indication that Bucky is done with the embrace. As if he’d been imposing by accepting the comfort and affection Bucky had given him freely.
He takes him in again and decides it’s not quite time to go back.
“C’mere,” he puts his arm over both of Gale’s shoulders and pulls him towards the barn. He gets his back against the wall and slides down, pulling the smaller man with. Gale’s pants are already filthy from his brawl so Bucky figures he won’t mind sitting in the dirt for a bit.
“What are we doing?”
Bucky leaves his arm around Gale and smiles a little to himself when the other man leans his head back, pillowing it on his bicep.
“Giving the guys ample to time to leave the pub, walk back and get in bed before we do the same.” Bucky tells him. He lets his hand fall to rest on Gale’s arm, lets his thumb stroke it over the fabric of his shirt. “Figure you didn’t want to play twenty questions or have an audience while I clean up you lip and your hand.”
Gale flexes his right hand and grimaces.
“I can do that myself,” Gale tells him. “But I would rather avoid their questions until morning at least.”
“I know you can,” Bucky jostles him a bit. “But you don’t have to. And you’re not going to, not when I’m around.”
Gale’s quiet for a moment but then he turns his head, still pillowed on Bucky’s arm and smiles at him. Small, but real. The first one Bucky’s seen all night.
“Thanks, John.”
Bucky continues soothing his thumbing along Gale’s arms and lets silence settle for a bit. But his thoughts are still running wild, and he knows he decided not to push, but there’s still something he wants to know.
“Why were you at the pub tonight, Buck?” He can’t help but question. “You said you didn’t want to come. Said you wanted to be alone.”
“I thought I did,” Gale’s voice is still rough, quieter than just moments before. “Turns out I was wrong.”
Bucky thinks about it for a minute but isn’t satisfied.
“So you decided what you really needed to do to get out of your funk was a rowdy pub and all your drunk airmen?”
“No,” Gale shakes his head. “It doesn’t matter.”
“Can you just talk to me? It matters to me, Buck. You matter to me.” He doesn’t mean to sound angry, doesn’t mean to sound so frustrated and especially hates that he did when Gale tenses and turns his head away from him.
“I told you my head was all tied up,” Gale says, sounding like he doesn’t want to be speaking at all. “I couldn’t read, couldn’t sleep. Hell, I couldn’t even sit still and I just wanted it all to stop.”
Bucky heart squeezes at the pain in his voice.
“Did what happened in that alley make it stop?” He can’t help but ask.
“No,” Gale turns back to look at him. “That made it tip over the edge. Made it worse.”
“Okay,” Bucky makes an encouraging sound and pulls him a little closer, pleased when he comes willingly and leans his weight on Bucky’s side.
“My fucked-up head,” Gale continues. “It untangles when you’re around. I wasn’t going to the pub, I wasn’t going to the men. I was just trying to go to you. Because you make it all better.”
And Bucky just about melts. For the first time in a long time, words won’t come easy to him. He looks down at the Gale, who has his head now pillowed on his shoulder. Gale, who is staring at his bloody hand. Gale who is the most beautiful thing, the best thing to ever come into Bucky’s life. And Bucky feels more confident in this moment than any other that his feelings aren’t one-sided. That this is going to be his past, his present and his future. And he feels so damn proud that he can be Gale’s safe place.
“Sorry,” Gale mutters, guilt in his tone, and Bucky realizes that he just gave the most insecure, shy man silence as a response to his sweet words.
He takes a bit of a risk and places his mouth to the top of Gale’s head in the imitation of a kiss. He breathes in the scent of him and closes his eyes.
“Don’t you apologize for that, sweetheart.” Gale lets out an audible breath at the endearment. “You do the same thing for me. Why do you think I never want to let you out of my site these days?”
“These days?”
“Hush, you,” Bucky squeezes him, though fair. He hasn’t really let Gale out of his site willingly since flight school. “You’re the only thing keeping me sane around here. I feel the same way.”
Gale doesn’t say anything in return, but he settles more firmly into Bucky’s side and just relaxes.
“You know, you could’ve just asked me to stay with you tonight.”
“I couldn’t.”
“You could’ve, I would’ve.” But Bucky gets it. Hates it, but gets it.
“I know, John.”
They sit in silence for a long while, enjoying the other’s presence, enjoying the closeness. To Bucky’s surprise, it’s Gale that breaks the silence.
“Think he’ll report me?”
Bucky shakes his head, confident.
“Nah. His word against ours and I’m a helluva liar.”
“All they gotta do is take one look at his face and my hands and words ain’t gonna matter one bit. It’d be a court martial for me and I’d deserve it.”
“Fuck that,” Bucky immediately tells him. “They aren’t gonna court martial the best pilot the Air Force has in the middle of a goddamn war for fighting.”
Gale doesn’t say anything to disagree.
“And you don’t deserve that,” Bucky continues. He lets his lips brush Gale’s hair again, no imitation this time, just a kiss. “Only thing you deserve is some peace and a long goddamn life, Gale.”
“John,” Gale breathes out. He brings his hand up and latches onto the front of Bucky’s uniform shirt. Knuckles splitting open again as he grasps the fabric. “I don’t deserve you.”
“That ain’t about deserving,” Bucky tells him matter of fact. “You and me, Buck? That’s a given. Set in stone. Inevitable.”
And as Gale turns his face into Bucky’s neck to hide for a bit, Bucky thinks of something else that’s inevitable.
I’m gonna kiss him.

Hello! I don't know if this blog is still active, or if you answer questions like this because I'm very, very new to the shifting community. But I was wondering how you'd recommend attempting to shift for the first time? I'm honestly just trying to get out of this bad situation I'm in and I'd much rather be at the DWMA right now instead. Anywhere but where I am right now, you know? Anyways you don't have to answer this, but if you do see it make sure to drink water and eat good food! Staying hydrated is key! ✨✨✨
Hey, I would say it can be easy to shift for the first time, without all of the unnecessary information overload, so it’s good that you’re new.
I have so many things to suggest so I have to really clear my ideas right now lol, also because I don’t want to say unhelpful stuff.
Remember that this is all optional, nothing that I say can be your truth, so don’t follow what I tell you step by step if you don’t agree with it or don’t feel comfortable.
I would say to not look for too much shifting content online. Storytimes are fine, they can give you some good motivation actually. But those “the key to shifting” videos are bullshit. There’s not key to do this, it’s all based on your assumptions. What I mean by this is that your main thoughts/assumptions manifests your whole reality, so if you assume that pointing at your nose three times while saying one affirmation will shift you, then it will lol. So do what works for you, of course you can take inspiration from others, but everyone’s journey is different so just pick what you like and assume it will make shifting easier for you.
Now, correlated to this, shifting is SIMPLE, and should be easy too. If you don’t shift the first times, it’s alright! don’t put yourself down, you will try again and with a fresh mind you will shift very soon. Just don’t stress yourself and don’t get obsessed with shifting. Doubts are fine in my opinion, you can shift with literally any mindset, again it all comes down to your assumptions. Many people think they can’t shift with doubts, that’s why they don’t shift afterwards, because they assumed they won’t, of course. So, shifting is essentially a simple and unique process. Do what works for you, experiment with techniques if you want, but know that it is not built for being complicated and difficult, it should be so natural to you, because we shift all the time with every thought and decision. So shifting to your desired reality is no different from shifting to parallel realities with unnoticed differences, it’s simply CHOOSING where to go. Shifting is a choice, an action, nothing else.
This aside, so. To shift for the very first time you can do anything you want really, no need to follow a shifting guided meditation but if you want go on. Or even a “method” is not necessary. You can also just say an affirmation and go to sleep or assume you’re already there and it will work.
If you want an advice I would suggest you to meditate beforehand just to clear your mind from any unnecessary thoughts, and to calm yourself down a bit. Then you can put your intention, and you can do this in many ways really. What I personally do is state that I always wake up in my [name of dr] and say it as many times as I feel like, then if I want i’m gonna use my emotions to feel as if I was already there. And then I go to sleep, and wake up there. If you don’t want to do an asleep method you can simply say that you’re already in your dr and know that the 3d (physical reality that you acknowledge with your senses) will catch up, and you will be there. You will be able to do it even in 5 minutes or something, you just have to do it then.
If something else comes to my mind I will edit this, but I don’t want to overcomplicate this. You just have to do what you want. Easy, no?

┊┊┊✧ ⁺ ⁺╚══ Upper Moon Four╝
Premise: Obsessive emotions can rut anyone away, appreciating love with fear, anger, joy, pleasure and sadness can overwhelm even the purest of hearts.
Word Count: 2638
Note: You can read the first installment of this story here, this was requested by the lovely @star-dust-wanderer, sorry it took so long for me to finish this! 🫣
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Fear is an incredibly powerful emotion.
It’s very much needed for survival, that is a fact, as it helps you keeping yourself safe and away from all dangers life can bring your way.
But when it comes to love and those sort of complicated feelings, fear can become your worst enemy.
While the rest of the clones had their fair share of excitement with this flower girl, Hantengu hasn’t stopped shaking since the moment you escaped.
Were you safe?
Were you able to escape from this awful series of unfortunate events?
Were you sad and alone waiting for someone to come and get you from a hidden cave in the woods?
Just why he kept thinking about all this was entirely a mystery for him. But he couldn’t sleep, couldn’t even drink blood anymore. He was in physical pain from all this irrational fear to a point where Muzan told him to take a break, sort of…
“Get out of my sight, you useless creature…if I see you once more shivering in a corner today I swear I’ll crush your skull…”
His harsh words only made the grunting and shaking worse, if this wasn’t enough on it’s own he managed to anger his lordship. Why did his clones get him in this mess? Is not like he did willingly, he just absorbed them back, this never happened before, never their emotions were so high they would end up rubbing on him, this was a first and he didn’t know how to fix this.
“I need this to go away before Muzan-sama ends up eating us all…” quivering behind a rock he summoned them four, while all he could feel was fear, annoyance was as clear as water in his eyes.
“Fix this now!”
Sekido as usual was the first one to talk, “This is all your fault to begin with! YOU sent us her way, you agreed on taking this mission! And now you want US to fix it?” scoffing he just paced around said rock, “So easy of you to say…you never take on the dirty work…”
Karaku on the other hand was delighted with the news, “Do we know where she is? I can’t wait to see that gorgeous body of hers again…ahhhhh….my love….I hope she’s dying to meet me just the same way I am…” loud scoffs was all that could be heard in the background, presumably coming from Sekido.
“I just hope she’s still alive…poor girl…she didn’t do anything wrong and she’s so nice…so kind…” Aizetsu kept sighing from his place underneath a tall tree.
“She’s fine, I’m sure. I’ve never seen a stronger woman before. She even likes Sekido!” Urogi was circling them all from above, happily flying with excitement.
“I don’t know where the woman is, just go find her. Don’t come back until you get rid of her!”
“WHAT?” the four of them said in unison, dumbfounded by their counterpart’s instructions.
“I can’t keep living like this, you need to make sure this stops right now. I need her out of our life!”
“I don’t think getting rid of her would fix this problem…if any…my own emotions will drown you further…” Aizetsu rarely has any valuable input in a problem, being driven by sadness isn’t the solution to any problem, but this sounded about right.
“Sekido will consume you from the inside too…”
“Ugh…We won’t kill her…but I’ll think of a way of fixing the problem.” without acknowledging  their higher self, they followed their self imposed leader, at least he didn’t want you dead.
“Aizetsu, can you track her scent?”
Pulling a little piece of cloth from his pocket, he sniffs it like a pup. “You had a piece of her kimono with you all this time? You disgust me…”
“Don’t listen to him, he’s just jealous because he doesn’t have one himself.”
“She’s in that direction…” he pointed south, the familiar scent he’s been craving so much filling his lungs causing a few tears to roll down his face.
“Urogi…”
“Yes sir!” flying as fast as he could through the vast forest, an immense amount of excitement filled his chest. While he’s the most calm of the bunch, just thinking of being able to see you once more was enough to make him forget about how hungry he was.
The night was dark, the moon kept hidden by pesky water filled clouds. Of course nothing that would stop Urogi from finding his prize, yet a bit troublesome to say the least. Storm winds kept pushing him on the opposite direction, washing away the soft floral scent he got to love so much.
“(Y/N)!! (Y/N) baby can you hear me? It’s Urogi! (Y/N)??? C’mon love stop hiding!” he screamed at the top of his lungs while flying low. He knew you were there somewhere, he could literally feel it, yet you were nowhere to be seen.
A little branch cracking caught his attention, his eyes glowing brightly in the darkness as the figure he’s been dying to see again finally reveals in front of him.
“Urogi-san? Is it really you?” unlike him, you couldn’t see in the dark, yet the powerful sound of his wings was a memory you treasured dearly and would recognize anywhere.
“(Y/N)!!!” a loud thud could be heard as your body hit the ground, a very heavy mass of muscle and wings crushing you and smothering you with kisses.
“Urogi-san! I thought I’d never see you again! Why are you here?”
“We were a bit restless thinking of what became of you. Are you hurt? Have you been eating?”
Giving him that lovely smile of yours,  you just shook your head. “I’m not hurt, all thanks to you all. Aizetsu-san made sure I got to escape safely. Are you four ok?”
“We’re fine just worried about cha. Let’s go find the others, shall we?” he didn’t really gave you time to answer, scooping you in his strong arms and giving you forehead a soft loving kiss while he crossed the forest once more, with you in his arms the storm winds were nothing to him, pure joy elated his heart and that was more he could ever wish for.
Once he managed to get back to others, he put you down puffing his chest proudly, “Found her~”
“Sekido-san!!!” you tackled the demon, wrapping him in a warm embrace, while the others knew you were quite fond of him, they never expected to see such a thing.
“Are you ok? You’re such a dumb woman, I’m sure you’re hurt everywhere, aren’t you? Show me your injuries, you idiotic pest!”
His angry outburst made you giggle, even if he was angry he was worried about you, that much was clear. “I’m fine. Don’t worry, I’m tough, remember?”
Scoffing he stopped resisting your snuggling, “Yeah right, like a useless human could do anything on their own…”
“I wasn’t on my own though…Aizetsu-san helped me get out of there unscratched.” reaching a hand over to Aizetsu, you pulled him into the warm mess of tangled limbs you called hug.
“I missed you…” the sadness in his voice was palpable, while the other three missed you as well, they were incapable of showing it the way he could.
“I missed you too. Did you manage to escape alright too?” you cupped his cheek, tenderly caressing it with your thumb, while he couldn’t smile, his eyes watered with intensity from your soft loving touch, nobody had ever shown such tenderness to him, he was a demon, undeserving of such delicacy.
“Yeah…we are all fine. Better now that you’re here…”
Karaku was enjoying the show from up a tree branch, drinking some sake while admiring your beauty from afar, “We need to get you back to safety, sweetheart. Otherwise our emotions won’t be at peace. Though, I still want to strip you naked and drink from your-“
“Shut your mouth if you ever want to use it again.”
Sekido’s outburst made you giggle once more and snuggle further onto him. “Are we going back to the cottage? Or is it still not safe?”
“The cottage should be fine, right boss?”
“Yeah the demon corps left the area a while back, even if they did a human living there on her own wouldn’t be suspicious.”
“As long as we aren’t there, that is. We would only bring her troubles…” Aizetsu sighed heavily, sinking further into your embrace as if trying to engrave this moment in his memory for eternity. The warmth of your body, your little squeezes, the soft touch of your loving kisses…in all honesty he wished he could enjoy those all his life.
But there was no way he could.
“Let’s go, gorgeous. I’ll carry you in my arms so you don’t have to walk.” flying with Urogi was quite thrilling, though it was also pretty fast to arrive to wherever the aim was and that was something you didn’t want right now. “As much as I enjoy that, I think I would like to walk with all of you, if you don’t mind.”
They were all as surprised as the other by your response. It almost sounded like you wanted to spend time with them. But that couldn’t be true, they were your captors, they literally kidnapped you and forbid you to return to your home town, not even to retrieve the corpses of your departed family.
Aizetsu held one of your hands in his, gently caressing your knuckles with his thumb, “Let’s go.”
Taking the lead was never reserved for Aizetsu, he lacked assertiveness, but even sadness can be useful when it comes to real love.
He had the most intense feelings out of the rest, while some might think Sekido was the obvious answer, sadness is more powerful than anger, it tears you apart from within, it makes you take stupid decisions, clouds your view of every possible positive outcome. But it also clings to the beautiful feeling of love, craves it like no other as it soothes their lonely heart.
Aizetsu was the one who triggered such anxiety in Hantengu, he was the sole reason for his constant breakdowns.
While the other three contributed to this, Aizetsu kept flooding his mind with insanity.
The moment you smiled at him and held his hand back, his heart just couldn’t take it anymore, sobbing, he kept on walking north, he needed to bring you back to safety, back to a place he could always find you at.
“Oi Sekido…If we bring her to the cottage…does that mean we can just visit her whenever we want?”
“Ugh…I guess…but try to suppress your joy or he will notice…”
Urogi danced in the gloomy night sky, even if Aizetsu had the best interaction with you this time around, there was always a chance to see you again, he could come and smother you with kisses whenever he wanted, he could just stop feeling like he was drowning. Being happy all the time can be as exhausting as being sad or angry, it makes you question your own choices, your own words, your own truthfulness, yet with you around he never had to question anything, he could utterly enjoy his joyful self, making you giggle, causing you to smile, being a source of happiness to you was more than enough for him.
Sekido on the other hand, had his mind filled with uncertainty.
While he knew you being safe would bring order to his messy thoughts, he also knew it was very unlike him to enjoy your company, your touch, your smile. He was in rage with his own self, he wanted to kick himself real bad, rip his own head off, he couldn’t fathom anger itself could bring something like love to bloom.
What angered him most was the fact that you didn’t mind any of this. You were surrounded by demons, demons that could eat you alive at any point in time, you were facing Karaku who could ravish you to pieces, and all you did was giggle like a fair maiden, blush at their words, cuddle them like they were a bunch of puppies. You’d end up dead at this rate…if you accepted them just fine, you could accept any other demon, they would not think twice and dismember you like a chicken for supper, drink your delicious blood like nectar from the gods.
“Woman. You can’t let anyone enter the cottage but us, you hear me?”
“What do you mean?”
“You…your scent…calls creatures like us…they won’t be as generous…”
“Ah….yes…anyone would party in that beautiful body of yours, my muse…I would if Sekido wasn’t as noisy…” the scowl in Sekido’s face was almost comical, yet he was absolutely right and that was a terrifyingly infuriating thought.
“Got it. Will you guys bring food to me then? If I can’t go out?”
“You can go out, dumbass. Just not at night.”
“Oh…that makes things easier, yes. But you will come and visit me, right?” the pleading look in your eyes made him feel somewhat light headed, an unusual sensation at that.
“Yeah yeah…”
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
The cottage was still the same way you left it, remains of the rope that held you captive, charred coal from Karaku’s bonfire…Urogi’s scratches on the floor, it held so many dear memories, even if they were fleeting, they were all very much treasured memories of yours.
They were hard at work reinforcing the door and windows, setting traps around the cottage, making sure no demon would dare to touch their prey.
Aizetsu though, couldn’t bare being away from you and was currently laying his head on your lap while you caressed his long fluffy hair.
While he was still sad about leaving you here on your own, he knew there was noting he could do, he couldn’t stay here to protect you, though he could come at any time, see your face, have your soft soothing touch all to himself.
“Aizetsu-san…I wanted to thank you…” your voice was nothing but a whisper, yet he could hear all of it and it made his stomach drop with anticipation.
“You were always so kind to me, from the start. Gave me a sense of safety I never felt before…” your words turned to silence yet your loving touch said more than your words, he could feel how much you cared for him, for the others, how you accepted them even knowing what they truly were, a sense of belonging bloomed in his chest the same way it did on the others.
“I’ll come visit when I can…will you…will you caress my hair like this when I do?”
“Of course, sweet stuff. As much as you want…”
Unbeknownst to you both, the other three were watching the entire interaction.
They were connected after all, they were one.
That sense of belonging bloomed in all of them at once, and not an ounce of jealousy could be felt within any of them, not even Sekido.
This is where they belonged.
Not by Muzan’s side, not fighting demon hunters, but in your arms.
A realization that was not only worrying but wholesome, as much as troubling.
Demons can’t fall in love, can they?
