Don't wanna lose
/Listen, this is my first ROTTMNT fan fiction. And I warn you that in the original I wrote it in Russian(because I am from Russia), so there may be a poor translation. Please don't scold me xd. And... My text typography is very different from how many others do it. So... I hope this is not a problem, and you will understand/
“Donnie had a nightmare, but to whom would he go for help, if not his brothers?”
Tumblr media
The body hurts unbearably. As if all the bones were crushed into small pieces, as if they were well ground in a blender. I barely rise to my elbows and look around. Blood. A lot of blood. My brothers! They are also in the blood. Do not move. No signs of breathing. They have terrible wounds, and Mikey... Oh no, my poor little brother, he got the most. Looking at his broken shell is worse than the pain that I feel from broken bones now. I try to get up, but I can’t. My tech-bo is broken in half, and the shell sparkles from damaged parts. I hear menacing breath behind me. I turn my head. Shredder. He stands in front of me and looks into my eyes with a predatory gaze. At any second, he could attack me, but he was waiting for something. I hear someone is running. April! She is alive! She runs straight at the enemy with a bat in her hands. What are you doing again?! Run from here! Shredder grabs O`Neil with his claws and throws her to the side under a huge box hanging on the chain of the lift. The next second, the armor quickly chopped off the chains. The load fell on April. I heard a loud crunch of bones, and blood poured out from under the load. The shock froze on my face. And in a split second, Shredder, waving his claws, was in front of me.
— NO! — softshell woke up.
And the next thing he felt was already real pain from hitting the bed cover. Perhaps a broken solarium is not the best option for a place to sleep. Von Ryan rubbed his forehead. He began to breathe air through his teeth, squinting his eyes. Such a dream. But this is not surprising. After a three-day battle with Shredder, the destruction of Donnie’s entire tech and almost premature death, the turtle could not sleep well. All these thoughts of death from the claws of an obsessed armor scared him.
Donatello slowly walked down the stairs from the bed. 03:15 AM. Third time in a week. He rubbed his eyes, leaning against the table. Terribly wanted to sleep, but did not want to return to the nightmare. He needs someone who will help to distract from this. But who? Brothers are not an option. Father too... April. Yes, she also suffered, but she can calmly listen and help. The best friend after all.
Donnie took out his hoodie, left the room, looked around. No one, everyone is sleeping. He slowly but surely headed toward the exit to the surface. He climbed the rusty stairs and opened the hatch. It's raining. To match the mood. Softshell closed the hatch and climbed to the roof of the house. Jogging can also distract. He went straight to his friend, jumping from roof to roof and slapping his feet in the puddles. About ten minutes later he was at her window. It is closed: both the lock and the curtains. Donnie sighed sadly, with his hands in his pocket. Unexpectedly there was a screwdriver. How on time. The turtle held the tool to the lock and stopped. But will it not be a hack? ...Nah, Donnie has the right to do it. He continued to poke around the lock until it clicked, announcing the discovery. Von Ryan slowly opened the window and opened the curtains. But here's what surprised: April sat on her bed in headphones, reading a magazine, under a nightlight:
— Do you know that reading under a dim light is not safe for the eyes?  — he said loudly enough for the girl to hear him.
She jerked and looked in his direction, pulling out her headphone. They looked at each other for about ten seconds, until O'Neil spoke:
— Said the one who spent days on end sitting at the phone or laptop. — she answered with a grin.
The girl closed the magazine, put it and the headphones on the pedestal and got out of bed, going to the window from which the softshell peeked out. She shoved him forcefully into the room and closed the window:
— What are you doing here?
— Me? I just wanted to visit you, to check how you are... — he was silent for a while, looking away. — How are you?
The girl raised an eyebrow, looking skeptically at a friend. Donnie sighed, admitting defeat:
— Yeah-yeah, I know, I'm lying bad. Just a mental problem, Apes.
— Do you want me to listen? — in response came a sad nod. — Sit down and wait. Be right back.
April left the room. Donnie, as his friend ordered, sat on the bed and waited, looking at her modest room. Solid walls hung with posters, garlands and photos. Photos with her, his brothers, with Splinter, her mom and Mayhem. Even joint photos with him and April, of which there were about five. Donatello smiled involuntarily. For the sake of such moments as to be with the one you love and cherish every moment, you want to live. April came soon with two cups of tea that both of them like. She crouched next to Don, giving him a cup, he gladly took it:
— Well... What happened? — she asked after a moment of silence.
— I had a nightmare. It has been repeated day after day since we got rid of Shredder.
— And what was there?
Donnie looked at April. And she understood from his gaze. She began to look at the floor, considering everything. It’s strange that it’s Donnie, not even Mikey, who dreams of it:
— It was terrible. — began von Ryan. — I am alone, brothers are dead, there is no tech, I can’t move. Shredder is in front of me, but I see that you are running towards him. But he throws you back and...
— And? — stuttered, the girl asked.
— He killed you. Crushed by a huge cargo box. — Donnie started looking at a point on the wall. — There was a lot of blood, I heard a bone crunch. Shredder wanted to attack me, but I woke up.
April looked frightened at her friend. Everyone shared their dreams with her, even Leo. Even Splinter! But not a single dream was so strange and cruel. And then the first dream that her best friend shared turned out to be just that. She wanted to support him, but Donnie continued:
— You know, I wanted to make a copy of Sunita's brooch. I wanted to become a human, wanted to study at school, go to college... But it turns out that we must fight all the villains, defending New York, and only God knows when this will end! — Donatello sobbed, bitter tears flowed from his eyes, dripping into sweet tea. — I do not want all this... I don’t want eternal battles, I don’t want victims, I don’t want... To die.
— Drop these thoughts, please! — O'Neil exclaimed, wiping the tears from the turtle’s eyes and holding a hand on his cheek. — You know that won't happen. You know that everything will be alright! Yes, we will fight for the preservation of the city, we will fight with the villains, but we will not die.
— YOU DO NOT KNOW THIS! — Don cried out, almost crushing the mug in his hands. He put it quickly on the pedestal and got out of bed. —  All I hear is words! "Everything will be fine! We can do it! We will win!" But no one knows the real cruelty of life! However, I lost everything I created over the years in a couple of seconds! Shredder nearly killed me! He nearly crippled Raph and Mikey! He almost crippled YOU! I am glad that we generally survived those three days, but the uncertainty about what will happen scares me! I’m afraid that I can literally lose everything: our adventures, our games, watching TV, pizza, Leo’s jokes, Raph’s hugs, Mikey’s paintings, Splinter’s stories, and, most importantly, my only best friend! SO HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT!? — he abruptly fell silent.
The room became very quiet, only sobs of the softshell and the sound of raindrops on the windowsill were audible. Donnie stood with his hands on his head, it seemed as if it would burst from his own scream. The throat now hurts, tears rolled down in a hail. This silence would have lasted longer if Von Ryan had not heard something. Is April... Crying? But she never... No... No, no, no! Donnie did not want to bring her to tears, he did not want to! The turtle knelt in front of her and put his hands on hers, holding a mug of tea that had already cooled down:
— Forgive me. I shouldn't have yelled at you. You are not to blame for our problems. You shouldn't have been involved.
— What!? — the girl was alarmed. Mayhem, which sat with her and reassured her, flinched. — You want to say that after all that we have experienced I am not a participant in all these troubles?! But I was the first to enter the Secret City. I helped you deal with the Purple Dragons, you guys saved me from Albearto, from Hypnopotamus, you defended my “Normal” day from Foot Clan, you helped to get Mayhem from the mirror, and I helped you with the missions. And remember, if I didn’t get on the train, we would not have guessed where Foot Clan had taken the armor! And you still think that I should not participate in this? So you don’t appreciate me as an important member of the team? As a family member?!
— It's not like that at all, April! — Donnie grabbed the girl by the shoulders. — I appreciate you! As a member of a team or family! And you can’t imagine how much I cherish you! I cherish the moment when we met! And I love you with all my heart, like a sister, but I'm afraid to lose you... — Donnie whispered.
It was a shame. He just wanted help, support, and in the end he upset his friend. What kind of friend is he who raises his voice? April's hand touched turtle's cheek, and he looked at the her. She smiled faintly. She is no longer angry, but a precipitate of sadness remains in her eyes:
—  You're a fool. — O'Neil grinned. — Well, come here. — she put the mug down on the pedestal next to his and opened her arms for a hug.
Donnie looked at April in surprise. They had not hugged together for so long, as if never. Von Ryan wiped away his tears and reached for his friend, clutching in "warm shackles." They sat like this for about five minutes. April began to giggle.
— What are you doing? — Donnie asked perplexedly, not breaking his arms.
— It's nothing. Just... To talk out, we had to yell at each other. I hope this does not happen again?
— We’ll try to prevent this... Listen, um... Can I stay with you this night?
— Of course, dude. Of course. Just sleep on the couch. — she laughed. — Just kidding, of course. You sleep with me, so that in case of what I reassured you.
— Pf! As you say, April.
Tumblr media
I wanted to write that Donnie is more outspoken with April
Just adore these two

Another fluffcember, this one #20 Movie Marathon.
Rottmnt fandom again with a bunch of ocs. Shina, Missy, and Thorn belong to @halloweennut any other oc is mine.
The sound of Splinters Christmas record he had made at the time he had been Lou Jistu was currently playing in the back ground. Not that anyone was entirely paying attention to the music. Everyone was busy getting the lair set for a Christmas movie marathon with guests.
Everyone except Goblin. He was eyeing some of the Christmas cookies that were part of the snack table spread. He glanced around quickly before taking a star shaped cookie. He glanced again be he opened his mouth.
"Goblin!" Splinter cried.
"Ah!" Goblin yelped.
"You are planning on eating that whole cookie and not just licking off the icing, right?" Splinter asked.
"But the icing is the best part!" Goblin protested.
Splinter glared, arms crossed.
"Aw, fine." Goblin grumbled, biting into the whole cookie and not just licking off the icing as he had fully intended to do.
Raph was giving the living room set up one more look over before any one showed up.
Piles of pillows and blankets were set up in the t.v room. Snacks in bowls or on plates were also set up on a small table and a pile of movies were waiting.
The set up was ready for a gathering. All they were waiting for were guests.
They didn't have to wait that long. April arrived first. Mayhem was perched on her shoulder, wearing a small, red dog jacket.  She also had a couple of large, plastic bags with various gift boxes and plastic containers with food in them.
"Merry Christmas everyone!" April cried.
"April!" cried the turtles.
"I brought some snacks and of course I come bearing gifts." April said.
She was not the only one to be bearing gifts that night.
Other guests arrived soon after. The Rabbit siblings arrived together as a group, also carrying in bags of gifts and food. Piebald was next. Shina and Thorn arrived after Piebald. And Krin arrived last, fashionably late as his cool guy persona would allow.
Everyone was there now. And there was the general putting aside coats, which Shelldon helped with, and then making their way to the living room to check out the set up.
Heart, Jade and Shina were already over by the snack table, taking some of the christmas cookies.
"These are cute cookies." Heart commented, a christmas tree shape cookie in hand.
"We decorated all the cookies together!" Jade said.
"Who decorated this one?" Heart asked.
Jade looked at the cookie Heart was holding.
"I think that one was Raph." Jade said.
"Nice use of the red and green sprinkles Raph." Heart called out.
"Thank you!" Raph called back across the room.
"And Shina's holding one Donnie decorated." Jade said.
Shina glanced down at the cookie in her hand and studied it's decoration more.
"Ah, that explains why everything looks so neat on this one." Shina said.
"Did you put each sprinkle on one at a time?" Krin asked.
"Look, I have a sprinkle system and it works." Donnie said.
"It also took you hours to decorate one cookie." Mikey said.
"I didn't say it was a fast system." Donnie said.
Once everyone was settled in it was time for the gifts. With the many present it took awhile. The cleaning up of wrapping paper took even longer. Especially since Mikey insisted on keeping some of the bows for a art project and had to collect each one.
After gifts everyone was ready for the main event.
It was movie marathon time.
"I say we go for the classic Rudolph stop motion movie." Raph said.
"The one about bullying those different until it's revealed said difference can actually be helpful. But that doesn't at all excuse how poor Rudolph was treated before?" Mikey asked.
"Um, well, yeah." Raph mumbled.
"Okay! Put it on. We can boo at the screen every time some is mean to Rudolph." Mikey said.
"Sounds like a plan." Leo said.
The movie was put in and everyone got comfortable to watch it.
The insults to Rudolph began fairly early in the movie. By Santa Claus himself.
"Booo!" Everyone shouted.
"You're getting a lump of coal in your own stocking, Santa!" Leo cried.
More booing followed many times during the movie.
When the movie ended Leo was quick to move to the pile of movies and pick out his pick for the next movie.
"Oh no." Raph said.
"What's wrong?" Thorn asked.
"We are watching "Grandma got ran over by a reindeer"." Leo announced.
Everyone that lived in the sewer and April groaned. Those who were not more knowledgeable of the many year tradition just looked confused.
"Should we be worried?" Krin asked Donnie.
"The movie literally has a section where two women wearing fruit on their head sing a song about suing Santa Claus." Donnie said.
"Oh like you don't join in singing it every time." Leo said.
"It's terrible but it's catchy." Donnie said.
"Santa has it coming, after how he treated Rudolph." Missy said.
"That jerk." Piebald grumbled.
"True. But we must think of the children." Thorn added in.
It wasn't long before Leo turned up the volume at the scene that he had just talked about. And as the song went on Leo and Donnie both ended up singing along with the song. No one else joined along though there was plenty of good natured laughing and smiles.
After the second movie it was bed time for Jade.
"But i'm not sleepy." Jade said.
She yawned a moment after and Splinter simply raised an eye brow.
"Okay, I get it." Jade mumbled.
"Night, little bean." Raph called out.
Everyone else joined in on wish Jade good night as she went to her room. Missy checked in on her a bit later and the small rat was already asleep.
Now the next thing to do was to pick out a third movie.
"No, we are not going to watch a horror movie for Christmas." Mikey argued.
"What, it's a Christmas movie!" Piebald argued. "It has Santa in it."
"As the killer!" Raph argued as well.
"I could watch a horror movie." Shina said.
"Shina!" Mikey cried.
"What? I like the occasional horror." Shina said.
There was further debate to what was going to be the third movie. Finally it was decided that the third movie was decided on to be a Mystery science 3000 episode titled "Santa Claus". Laughter was often during this this movie both from the cheesy movie itself and the jokes made during the movie.
Despite the humor by the end of the movie most of the gathered family had fallen asleep., the hour growing late.
Goblin had fallen asleep in the bowl  of pop corn that now only had the unpopped kernels left. One could guess he had been snacking on the kernels at the time sleep had came over him.
Donnie and Krin, Leo and Heart, and Missy and Shina had predictably fallen asleep next to each other. Leaning against each other in their sleep.
The only ones still up besides Splinter were April, Thorn, and Piebald. Though they looked like they were fading fast.
Splinter looked over his ever growing friends and family.
And he felt at home.

Friends
Title: Friends
Request/Prompt: Alright so I’ve had this idea on my mind for a while and would love to see it in writing but if you don’t want to then don’t worry about it. Sam and Dean are on a hunt with Cas when they all get captured. The boys ask Cas what to do and he’s like “Hold on a second. Let me pray.” And they’re wondering why he’s doing that. So he starts praying to some person named (Y/N) And lo and behold, an angel appears and saved them. When they’re safe, the boys are like “Who the crap is this?”And she’s like “I’m (Y/N).” Then Cas says “She’s my twin.” And they’re shocked but eventually get over it and she sticks around and is like Cas when he first came down and is very blunt and literal. She warms up slowly and a while later they’re all chilling and they mention something about her being such a great friend and she’s like “We’re friends?” And they say some fluffy stuff and yea. (Sorry it’s so long and please feel free to change whatever you need to!) Thanks! - @not-zari-tak
Pairing: Platonic TFW x female angel!reader
Warnings: I mean I guess violence a little ?? (angel smiting, nothing graphic)
Word Count: 1,922
note; here you go! I hope I did your idea justice, it was super fun to write! :)
_____
This was certainly not a part of the plan.
They were outnumbered - Sam and Dean were bound with rope in the corner, whilst Castiel was trapped in a burning ring of holy fire. Its flames leapt towards the roof of the abandoned warehouse, sending showers of sparks through the air that eventually found their home scattered across the gravel strewn ground. Three demons looked on glee - finally, they had achieved the unachievable.
“The infamous Winchesters,” one sneered, eyes flitting to black as he sauntered forwards with a taunting smirk. “At last, your time has run out.”
“We’ll be rewarded for your demise,” another chimed in, her blonde hair matted with blood as she wielded a curved, threatening blade. “The forces of Heaven and Hell combined couldn’t stop you or your… feathered friend-” she cast Castiel a disgusted glance - “but us? We’ll go down in history, conquerors of the unconquerable.”
“Who knows,” the third added with a sly glance, “we might even preside over your torture. What, you don’t think you’ll make it upstairs, do you? After everything you’ve done?”
Sam and Dean shared a solemn glance, each of them searching the other’s eyes in hopes that someone had a plan. They were disappointed, and as the demons turned away in discussion, Dean looked to Castiel.
“Cas. Please tell me you have an idea, cos I don’t see a way out of this,” he said urgently, keeping his tone low.
Cas considered his words gravely, mind running through all potential possibilities and crossing them, one by one, off the list of options. He was left with one recourse, a desperate one at that. He hadn’t spoken to her in years… could he get through to her? Would she even care? So much had changed since they’d last spoken…
But it was their only option.
“There’s… one possibility,” Castiel replied cautiously. “But I don’t know…”
“Cas, we’re kinda outta options here, buddy,” Sam interjected lightly, though his eyes betrayed a hint of panic at their predicament. Cas set his jaw, staring ahead as he nodded.
“I understand. Just a moment,” he excused, turning away from the brothers and closing his eyes. “Y/N…” he murmured, “if you can hear me, I know it’s been a while, but… I need a favour.”
“Who’s he talking to?” Dean hissed in confusion to Sam, who shrugged. The sudden fluttering of wings echoed through the space, and all three men span around in search of the noise’s source.
  “Castiel. You called?”
---
You hadn’t spoken to your brother in what felt like years - his rebellion had turned Heaven on its head, a chaos only perpetuated by the Fall, and you spent most of your time struggling to find order in the mayhem. You’d look down on him whenever you had a spare moment, but he’d never reached out to you, and so you had kept yourself busy and distant, under the impression that Cas had all but forgotten you in favour of his new… acquaintances.
But when you heard his voice echo around your mind in a desperate plea, you found yourself itching to respond to his call. He must truly be in trouble to call on you, and despite your years of separation, you couldn’t find it within yourself to let your brother find pain when you could prevent it, or at least try to.
And so, you answered, immediately appearing in the warehouse you had tracked your twin to. It was warm and clogged with smoke from holy fire, the metal walls trapping the heat like an industrial oven. You saw the three demons a few metres ahead, their souls twisted and disfigured beneath their human meatsuits. Your lip curled in disgust, but before you could take care of them, you turned to your brother who was trapped within the flames.
  “Castiel. You called?”
He turned to you immediately, a small smile crossing his face as he saw you for the first time in far too long, though the passing of time was but a blink of an eye to beings such as yourselves.
“Y/N,” he greeted, nodding in acknowledgment. The two men tied up in the corner jumped at your sudden appearance, turning to you with eyes widened in curiosity and betraying a touch of fear.
“You must be the Winchester brothers,” you said with a nod. “You’ve stirred quite a fuss of late.”
At last, the demons appeared to register your presence, spinning around with mouths etched into snarls.
“What are you doing here, angel?” one spat. “Run along home before you join your friend in the flames!”
A demure smile crossed your lips as you stalked forward leisurely, eyeing them with a predatory curiosity, not unlike a cat observing its prey. You tilted your head in amusement. “You think you can trap me so easily?” you scoffed. “Wow, I knew demons weren’t the brightest, but it seems this might be even easier than I first thought.”
You felt your eyes burning with your grace, and the demons winced at the light, stumbling away. “Now, now, there’s no need to fear,” you told them mockingly, moving forwards until they were trapped against a wall. You gently rested a hand on one’s forehead, and with an anguished scream, it fell as you smited it. The other two were quick to follow, and once the threat was vanquished, you waved your hand breezily and extinguished the flames trapping Castiel to his small patch of floor. He was quick to assist the Winchesters in attaining their freedom, and the two brothers turned to you warily.
“And who the hell are you?” Dean demanded, and you raised an eyebrow.
“Aren’t you charming? I knew humans weren’t as polite as they once were, but I certainly expected at least a thank you,” you said icily. Castiel bowed his head in respect.
“Thank you, Y/N. Sam, Dean, this is my sister. I suppose she could be considered my twin.”
Sam raised his eyebrows in curiosity. “Angels can have twins?”
“We were created simultaneously, and we’ve been informed on numerous occasions that our true forms hold a certain likeness to one another,” you informed him. “No matter - your human terms are irrelevant to me. Castiel is my brother, and now that he is safe, I should be leaving,” you said bluntly.
“Wait!” Castiel objected, and you looked at him questioningly. “Stay. You can come to the bunker with us. We can... catch up.”
  You frowned. “Catch what?”
Cas opened his mouth to answer, but Dean cut him off. “Hey! You can’t just spring this on us and expect us to roll with it,” he exclaimed defensively. “We’ve known you for… how long now? And you never once mentioned a twin - that seems like the kind of thing that should come up! How do we know we can trust her? You said yourself it’s ‘been a while’, you weren’t even sure she’d come! Why didn’t you mention this?”
You shot Dean a cold stare, whilst Cas looked on patiently. “To be honest, I thought she was dead,” he said softly, staring at you sadly. “After the fall…” He trailed off, eyes gazing mistily into the distance.
“I would have come if you’d only called!” you spat. “You’re my brother, Castiel. Would it have hurt for you to check in on me? I certainly checked in on you!”
“You’ve watched over me?” Cas asked in surprise, and you huffed in annoyance.
“Of course I have. You’re my brother,” you replied gruffly. “I deduced you’d stopped caring after replacing me with your new friends - the least you could have done was call on me after making the mess you left me behind to clean up!”
Cas bowed his head, eyes wounded. “I’m truly sorry, Y/N. I hope you can find it in yourself to forgive me.”
You huffed again. “Don’t be so foolish. You were forgiven the moment you contacted me,” you muttered. Your tone softened as you recalled his words. “Do you truly want me to stay?”
Dean and Sam were glancing between the two of you in bewilderment, hesitant to interrupt you and your brother’s argument.
“I do,” Cas said solemnly. “If Dean will allow it.” He glanced pointedly at the man, who cleared his throat and shrugged.
“I guess… since you saved us… only because Cas trusts you!” he eventually relented, shooting you a warning glance. Sam smiled at you warmly. At least one of the two had some semblance of etiquette.
“Then stay I shall,” you announce, “though I shan’t stay long. Heaven is still in shambles, and someone needs to tend to it.”
With this lingering in your mind, the four of you squeezed into the Impala and headed to the bunker.
---
Living with humans was… interesting, particularly since Sam and Dean seemed to both refute all knowledge you had of humans, whilst simultaneously displaying the most humanity you had ever encountered.
They lived the opposite of an ordinary lifestyle - not many humans lived in a secret underground bunker and hunted monsters for a living, or so you assumed - and yet, their incessant bickering, their exemplification of empathy, even their board game nights and their laughter all contributed to a sense of homeliness and familiarity that you had never felt before, not even in Heaven itself. You were starting to see why Castiel enjoyed their company.
It took them some time to warm up to you, and you to them, but eventually you found yourself helping them not out of obligation, but of desire. You wanted to see them happy, fulfilled, and after some time, you realised that they, too, seemed to care about you, a sensation that was altogether unfamiliar.
“Hey, Y/N, beer?” Dean offered as he headed to the kitchen. He, you, Cas and Sam were having a “movie marathon”, and though you didn’t quite grasp the ‘marathon’ aspect considering it mostly involved reclining lazily on various pieces of furniture, you found yourself enjoying the experience.
“No, thank you,” you said politely, turning back to the enthralling conversation you were having with Sam regarding your knowledge of ancient literature that seemed to endlessly fascinate him.
“You mean some texts survived the burning of Alexandria?” he asked eagerly, and you nodded.
“Of course - I saved some of my favourites, it would be in poor taste to let them perish,” you informed him. “I could lend you them, if you’d like.”
Sam’s eyes shone with awe. “Wow. You’re a great friend, Y/N.”
You stiffened at his fond words. “We’re… friends?” you asked meekly, and Sam nodded vigorously.
“Of course!” he exclaimed, and Dean affirmed this as he re-entered the room.
“Duh, you’ve saved our lives enough times that we’d be pretty stupid to call you anything but a friend now,” he noted. “Besides, you’re actually fun to hang out with. Unlike some people,” he said, casting a withering stare at Sam, who narrowed his eyes at his brother.
“Ha ha, very funny. Seriously though, Y/N - didn’t you realise we considered you a friend?”
You felt yourself blush, and Sam smiled at your antics affectionately. “Well, I- I wasn’t sure. Friendship is a… new concept for me. I like it, though,” you added hastily.
“Well, good, cos you’re not getting rid of us anytime soon,” Dean said.
“I’ll cheers to that,” Sam agreed, clinking his can with Dean’s. You turned to Castiel, who had been a silent observer. You gave him a smile.
“I can see why you rebelled, now. This? This is worth it.”
