Hi!! I want to start by saying I absolutely love your writing! It’s great writing and is pretty good for me to understand (English isn’t my first language).
I just wanted to ask, How do you think poly hybrid 141 would react to adopted reader getting sick?? And I mean really sick, like a good case of the flu that takes a whole week, like 7 days and antibiotics to go away??
I could see them being so worried and stressed, taking her to doctors and everything because they get better in 24-48 hours with their fancy strong immune systems! I also wonder if adopted reader would be confused by going to the doctors, because if anything happend while in previous foster homes, she was told to just figure it out and get better on her own.
You are right about one thing: hybrids have a better immune system than humans do!
Humans are considered weak and frail in every sense of the word. That includes their health. In fact, a human's health is so discussed that specialists from other races all study the human body constantly so they would be able to treat one, would they ever needed it.
(Because of the lack of total humans on this universe, it's rare to find a human doctor, for example. So, other races have to cover for them in a lot of different fields. There are programs and organizations in this world that entierelly foucused on making sure the few humans that exist would get the care they need. So, for example, if you are a doctor and also specialize on taking care of humans beside some other race, you would probably be paid more by the governement).
Now, little reader getting sick? Like, really sick? Yeah, that house is turning upside down. As hybrids, the whole 141 pride themselves on being good caretakers and providers. They also know how much more frail humans are compared to them.
But know is different from experiencing.
Little reader would start off with the typical signs of the flu. Stuffy nose, throat a bit sore, a sluggish body. All that. But, as we all know, it's very quick for sickness to develop. And in the spam of a night, little reader is waking up with a high fever and a weak, useless body.
The 141 would notice almost immediatly. They can smell how sick you are, even from your room. That weird, almost sour smell that we can usually smell when we blow our nose.
Before you know it, you would probably be in Price's or Soap's arms, surronded by their warmth, hearing their cooed words that make zero to almost no sense to your sick and hazy mind.
And at first, they are very much panicking. They are calling the rest of their pack while cooing and conforting you, Laswell being the one to tell them to immediatly take you to the doctor.
And they do, everyone going on the car together, because if one of them had anything to do that day, it's immediatly getting canceled. They would still hold you close, on their laps, and every single one of them are cooing quietly at you. Even Ghost. Tho his "cooing" sounds more like his normal voice, just extra quiet and gentler than usual.
And it's true, you're not that used to going to the doctor. You usually never get that sick, and as a foster kid, it just doesn't happen often.
But, you were feeling pretty hazy, mind clouded and feverish. You barely remember going that first time to the doctor with them.
You barely remember the kind doctor that was trying his best to easy your foster parents' worries, and all the examination he did on you, even if you couldnt cooperate much with how confused you were.
You certainly got treated at the hospital and monitored until your fever came down a bit. After that, they send you back home with your parents, who had gotten a lot of new instructions and medicines to properly take care of you at home.
You took almost a full week to finally start getting better.
They would't let you sleep in your room anymore, since you got sick, you had been sleeping on their shared nest, with them. They would constantly check on your breathing and heartbeats, and would even feed you themselves and make sure you were plenty hydrated.
And even after you got better, they would still be extra careful and overbearing for a little while longer.
You can be sure that they would be taking extra measures now so that you never get sick again.

(candy vault) : alexander mcqueen shoes, nike off white and yibo’s missing mole 🤍

this fandom has lots of candies in the past years and there are ones that fall through the cracks or things that i simply wanna talk about. also for the benefit of new turtles who probably missed it & a good trip down memory lane for those who’ve been here for a while. i made other posts similar to this before and i haven’t done a good old mini compilation so here ya go. ^^
2/23/2021 WYB was in Beijing, participating in the recording of CCTV’s Lantern Festival program in the evening. The actual broadcast was 2/26/2021.
youtube
In the materials initially sent out by YBO, for the photos, you couldn’t see AM shoes. Maybe the shoot was better off focusing on his face, which I totally agree, but it was like they didn’t want to focus on it that much. We only saw the shoes when they released the BTS video where it would be tricky to crop it out.

During the actual performance he changed into a more comfortable looking Jimmy Choo shoes. He was wearing AM outfit so it made sense that the shoes should match too. This should’t really be a big deal or even a CPN, only because changing shoes is sort of normal at events like this. Maybe he was more comfortable with the Jimmy Choo, although the choreography for this performance is not that complicated like his other routines. The way I remember it, WYB usually sticks to the shoes he has on.

The CPN alarm bells started going off tho when ZZ flew from Beijing to Shanghai wearing the same style McQueen shoes. He had shooting back in 2/24 and there were some talk that he was more than a half hour late as planned on set. So going by our collective galaxy brain, they could have spent some time together during late 2/23 and some time on 2/24 which is after the CCTV shoot. WYB probably lent the shoe to him or he just got it from their shared closet lol. This is why ZZ was sort of late, because he was with WYB. The pattern of ZZ being later than usual on set when he is with WYB is something that still happens this year. I’m not implying that he is slacking off when he is with WYB but more of just adjusting his schedule so he can accommodate the love of his life. they both deserve that in between their busy schedules.

maybe this is why YBO didn’t want to highlight that on the materials they released 2/26 ; because they knew where the shoe went 😂😂😂
While we’re in the subject of shoes, let’s take it further back with their matching nike off white in 2018. It’s one CPN that is often given as an example but I haven’t discussed on here.
AAAAAHHHHH! I miss the days when they could still wear Nike shoes. Oh well….
Looking through the airport pictures of ZZ before joining the CQL group from 2016 to 2018, there are no pair of Nikes that could often be seen in pictures of him. There are 2 back in 2017. Before CQL, ZZ had quite a variety of shoes, including a few pairs from Adidas. Like WYB, it is obvious that he likes to buy Nike co-branded products, likes to grab the latest models, and even buys more for collection.

Now let’s focus first on the shoes, it’s a collab of Nike air vapormax X off white. There are two shoes of the same style but in different colors. The black model will be available at 3/30/2018 and the white will be available at 4/18/2018. We know that at the time, WYB will surely have what’s new when it comes to NIKE. It’s either it will be sent to him cause he has a relationship with the brand or he will buy it himself. He is known to always wear the latest designs released. He is also a collector, so he most likely bought the black and white version.
WYB wore the white version on 4/28 and ZZ wore the black model on 5/8 based on photos.

As for ZZ, he was recording an episode for a show and he also used this shoe for the rehearsal. It is the same show where he had to dance and the choreography was taught by WYB. We’ve seen this in the BTS and ZZ talked about it himself.

WYB was seen again with the pair during PD101 on 5/10. It’s funny cause this is the same day where XZ was filmed candidly behind the scenes and he said he hasn’t seen LWJ all day.
These two. Honestly. They only formally “met” and then started shoot 4/16 and it hasn’t even been a month but they already have a couple shoe and ZZ was out there emoting about missing LWJ/WYB? It’s a common discussion that leads to alternative timelines like DT or 2017 or it could just be that it’s one of those rare instance where you connect with someone so quickly.
I have 3 possible explanations:
1. It’s totally unrelated. They bought their pairs separately since they like the style and collab.
2. WYB gave the shoe to XZ. I am a fan of both of them giving gifts to each other. And if you are someone who believed XZ gave him a lego set even before they started filming as a gesture of goodwill then this should make more sense to you. Also WYB is known to give gifts and that includes shoes ( for example SDC 3, he gave out multiple pairs ). This reasoning is not necessarily a CPN of them being boyfriends, but more of being close enough to give each other gifts. and not just the usual one you would give to a colleague cause if WYB only has the white and XZ has the black, it’s a couple shoe. WYB low key hinting at the prospect if them being a pair and XZ accepting it.
3. They bought it together, as you would when you’re with a friend and are scrolling through shopping apps together. I think there are fake rumors of that, the two, in between takes scroll through their phones and buy each other stuff or same style clothes. Again, it doesn’t necessarily mean boyfriend behavior, but more of being close enough to do that.
A clue for that is WYB was seen with the black pair during CQL filming around early 6/2018. You can clown that he is wearing ZZ’s shoes or he did buy the 2 kinds for his own and ZZ got the black only.

Lastly is the stolen mole!!!!! ♥️
Since cpfs are obsessing over WYB’s very visible mole from the Bazaar shoot.

It’s one of my favorite fake and it basically says, The reason why WYB cares so much about ZZ’s mole under the lip, is because WYB also had one like this when he was little. The elders in the family said it’s something good and it means he will have a happy life. However the mole disappeared. Or i guess in his case it’s not as prominent and has faded instead.
While filming, GG has scenes where he didn’t have make up or it gets taken off because of the heat. WYB looks at him closely and points out his lip mole, saying that he had something like that before but it disappeared. GG then added that his mom told him that his mole appeared only after a while when he was young.
That’s when WYB said GG stole his mole. When it disappeared, the mole transferred to GG 😂😂😂
Maybe this is why WYB is so fixated with his mole that he even includes it in his drawing of XZ/WWX.
-END.

Everything Everything, live @ TivoliVredenburg, Utrecht, 01/09/24
First time seeing them in over 6 years ! ! ! I don't travel a lot, but it was worth the trip to NL just for the gig alone, not even the 3 hour delay on my return trip could change that (thanks DB).
Random assortment of thoughts (athoughtment):
venue was a bit of an odd choice, it was a nice building and very central, but they had a bunch of other concert halls (mainly for classical/orchestral music I think?), and EE played in a tiny hall on the sixth floor. for some reason, they made us wait downstairs in the foyer where the queue very quickly blockaded anyone from getting through, so they had to shuffle us around a bunch.
also there was a (classical?) music festival happening in town and some events from that overlapped with the show, so there were two Very Distinct crowds in the building and our queue got some Disapproving looks lol.
despite the weirdness of the venue, the hall where they played was great, good acoustics and very intimate. me and a friend were there pretty early and stood second row from the stage, though we drifted a bit over to the left because I chatted briefly with some folks there.
crowd was great too, good vibes, everyone I met was lovely. someone complimented my ATB shirt and a few people got really excited and started pointing at me at the start of Kemosabe :^) also shoutout to the person in front of me who moved the water bottles on stage so I could see the setlist.
there was a girl directly in front of us in the queue and at the stage who was wearing an AMAZING homemade Mountainhead shirt, a button-down with the logo on the front and "I left my work in the pit to come here" on the back, which (I think) she embroidered herself. really need to step up my game the next time I see them lol.
the show itself was stunning, though sadly Pete wasn't there :( I was hyping him up to my friend (who hadn't seen them live before) because he's usually the only one who matches Jon's energy/stage presence. we were directly in front of Alex and he might as well be wearing an "I'd rather be programming synths right now"-shirt lol.
the setlist was really solid, though leaning very heavily into singles (I think only Metroland and NotLK were album-only, and I was blown away by both), and not playing too many newer songs. I can understand why they do it (people at the front were very into it the entire time, but most of the crowd obviously got much more involved near the end when they played Cough Cough/Distant Past), but it's a bit of a shame anyway.
also 90 minutes every 6 years is not enough I feel like a kid whose parents (british bands and european tours) got divorced, badly. have they considered that they could just play for 3 hours? maybe?? as a treat???
I feel like someone on setlist dot fm is making fun of me specifically, bc they added Violent Sun to the setlist which. it was definitely not on. like I saw the setlist on stage at the start and also if they had played it, I would not be alive any longer (as per my previous correspondance).
I don't really understand Mad Stone as the opener (they could swap Mad Stone and Wild Guess around and it would work much better imo), but I was glad for all of the Mountainhead we got.
Jon very clearly sang Arch-Jeremy for one entire chorus and I tragically didn't record it (only have a couple of videos which I'll post later). but it's real and it happened and it's real also.
burned guitar my beloved but also beloathed. I think Jon's on-stage performance is much more engaging when he doesn't have to play guitar and can move around more freely. but also the burnt guitar is really cool.
Enter the Mirror live fucks so severely. that is all.
the show was completely sold out (I think the venue holds ~600 people) and merch was also pretty much gone by the time I left (I got litchrally the last shirt and they only had a few tote bags left I think), so I hope it made enough money for them to consider an EU tour soon. EE at the Gloria in Cologne is my dream gig, so I'm manifesting that for next year. . .

1.
There’s pain and longing in things that has passed. Now I’m realizing how heavy it is to look back on missed moments and unrealized opportunities.
2.
Have you heard of the superstition where you ask the cat something/someone missing? One of the stray cats we feed gave birth in our garage 2 weeks ago. She put it inside our house. She went missing. I use the syringe and cat milk to force feed the kittens. 24-hours missing I talked to every single one of the stray cats if they’ve seen the mama cat, the one with a limp. I told them it’s unusual for a mama cat to leave their kittens not unless they are sick.
She returned a day after that. She smelled of death and sickness. I let her in and showed her the kittens. She avoided them, I think she doesn’t want to risk it. She stayed for a while and looked at the house. She asked to be petted and laid down in her usual spot where she sleeps. I played video games the whole day, looking at her look at me and the house.
At midnight, I turned the tv and console off. I sat and the floor and touched her a bit. I thanked her for going home. I told her I’ll try my best to feed the kittens if they will accept, but made no promise. The kittens are too young, and I’m afraid nature will run its course. I told her it’s okay to sleep now, and that it was great she trusted us to feed her for a while. I told her we may not meet again when I sleep now, because I’m not sure if she’ll stick around- but that I understand. I said thank you for making an effort to say goodbye.
I woke up the next day without her in the house. Her kittens are crying, asking to be nursed. I know she’s gone, truly gone this time. I wonder if she felt love in her last hours.
3.
Most of my days these past two months are mostly at home. I had three of my wisdom teeth removed and didn’t expect the long recover time per operation. It forced me to stay home and do some light cleaning. I sorted some things and continued packing clothes and books I intend to donate.
I have donated more than 10 paper bags of old clothes now. Most of them bought 2014-2018. I didn’t have a growth sprout so I kept them. They’re the clothes I bought with my first salary, my first time alone abroad, my first Christmas splurge, my first out of the country shopping.
For some reasons, I thought they were meant ti stay. I thought those days of vanished youth can be revisited if I just store them, or that I don’t need to go shopping again. But nothing really lasts. Most of these items aren’t even reflective of who I am today. Seeing them go felt like saying goodbye to a younger version of me. I’m happy knowing he was happy.
4.
Skype is closing down. I spent 4 years working for Microsoft. We knew end days are coming for the app since the introduction of Microsoft Teams. I used to handle Skype in the Classroom programs and have visited local museums to invite them to join giving virtual tours (before pandemic). Seeing it go had some finality. Seeing it go felt like I said goodbye to the mama cat and my old clothes. I cheered myself up knowing we have connected 40k Filipino students a year to promote culture and identity. Those were few of my career highlight.
5.
So there’s really pain and longing in things that has passed. In a few weeks I felt like I said goodbye in multitudes and was forced to confront how things are changing again. I’m starting to give away some of my books. I felt like there’s no point keeping too much when things, people and circumstances change too often.
It’s only the first quarter of the year, but it felt like a year-long reflection was due, from forced self-isolation and sad chain of events.
P.S.
Someone I used to love went back home. We didn’t meet, even as friends. It felt like a satisfying and sad goodbye to moments shared. I hope I’m as happy.

Sorry about all the political-type posts everyone..... I am very scared right now, trying to keep on top of things I think I should be aware of and sharing things that might help others.... while trying not to post reactionary "oh shit this is happening" things too.... I usually sit on those things for about 24 hours before posting them in case they turn out not to be true or get reversed...
I'm just. So scared right now. The stunt 45 pulled last week to freeze funding for federal programs had me wondering if I would be given my food, housing, and medical support anymore. It scares me that I may be forced to go back to work to survive if my supports get pulled.... but working with my health problems is what put me on disability in the first place. So I would literally be choosing between "money" or "working to death" again.
And it kills me that there are still people jeering at us for our fears... saying "it's not so bad" or "cry harder Libs" like.... I do not understand how anyone could take joy in someone else's fear for survival. And I cannot forgive those who voted for a man who will ruin us all, whatever the reason they did so. We are all paying for the consequences of their ignorance, their spite, or their apathy. I suppose I find comfort in knowing I'm not the only one feeling like this. In the meantime I am trying not to lose my mind and keep my anxiety out of the stratosphere even while I see 1930s Nazi Germany unfolding before my eyes. I am scared and I am alone in this house. I envy my cats, who have no idea what is going on. I use #current events and #4345 tag for things politics-related, although not always both at the same time, in case someone wants to blacklist posts.
#Starry says things#I don't know what to do#there is no one to hold here to tell me it will be okay#and outside-US followers I am so sorry#you shouldn't have to see our bullshit and hear the complaints#I know there is more to the world than the US#please know we tried not to let this happen

Chapter 5: The Big Event
After weeks of giving unknown people hope, we couldn't help but think there were more to these beings than just an inspirational word. After all, they seemed overwhelmingly concerned about humans and their wellbeing, in general. It was nice and all, but it seemed like something was amiss. One morning on my way to my local feed store, I noticed a giant, sparkly cloud hovering over my car and following me wherever I went in town. Seeing this before in my own house, I knew it was one of them. Not sure who it was, but that didn't matter. If I stopped at a traffic light, it also would stop. This continued until I reached my destination and finally, this "cloud" stopped over our car in the parking lot. I waved at the sky and said my usual hellos. I went into the store and made my purchases and when I came back out the cloud was still there. I figured it was Roy, but you never know because you can't feel the frequency they give off when they're in the sky. During the daylight hours they can disguise as a cloud, in the nighttime, a star and turn celestial at any time in between, and back to human form. Quite miraculous from a human point of view.
After loading my purchases into my car, I was thinking out loud, why are they here? Ask and you shall receive..............the answer was flowing into my thoughts like a raging river. Roy began explaining that the Rapture is coming soon. He said you and your family will go and I will stay. I will stay to help those that didn't make it. Wow! An event known as an "intentional rescue", meant to be a blessing, comforting, and secretive for His own. This event is God's way of getting his true believers off Earth before the Antichrist arises and God's wrath follows. I had read this myself in 1 Thessalonians 4:17(KJV), then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord, the only mention of the rapture. This subject is taboo in the church today. A subject most want to leave untouched because it is so misunderstood and highly debatable among even bible scholars. Most Christians don't even believe in it, Revelation 3:11(KJV) says, Behold, I come quickly; hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Very few leaders in the church will ever touch such a taboo topic as this one. Coincidentally, these beings were finely tuned to the Bible and know that scripture in and out. Roy never mentioned a date or time, for no man knows the time, nor the hour, not even Jesus or the angels in Heaven, Matthew 24:36(KJV). But I go back to the paper that was shown to us--Every believer is taught to expect the Savior at any moment. ......
It all was starting to make sense. These beings are literally angels sent from Heaven to get as many believers home as possible. The Rapture is going to catch a lot of people who don't know God by surprise. Like a thief in the night, 1 Thessalonians 5:2. It will happen fast and people left here will freak. Billions of people gone all at the same time, in one moment, taken up, to be caught up in the clouds to meet Jesus. Can you imagine the chaos, destruction, and all out madness that will follow from this? The governments already has a plan of action for this==blame it on a mass alien abduction. Yet another reason Roy did not want to be associated with the word alien. Which that word "alien" and others like "UFO", etc are systematically programmed into our vocabulary, presumably to keep our focus on unidentifiable creatures from outer space, rather than the Bible, the book of Truth. The explanation is clear to me, there are good angels and bad angels (fallen angels), not aliens. The word Arcturians could have been conjured up for the sake of entertainment. Roy mentioned that there are others like him positioning themselves around the world as I type this. They are everywhere, they are all around us and they, as well as the bad ones, are strategically getting ready and in place for what is to be the biggest, most cataclysmic event since Christ arose from the dead. When the Rapture happens, it will take all Earth Dwellers, the ungodly, and non-believers by surprise. It was told to me like this----imagine Jesus sitting on the throne, when a timer goes off next to him. God the Father, tells Jesus, "go get your people" and as soon as Jesus stands, it's over. No more people will be saved. If you were a second too late, you miss out. That is literally the sense of urgency here in getting people saved in time. And now you go through the "Hour of Trial" Revelation 6-19.
All true believers will be gone and the Antichrist will then present himself to the world, acting like Jesus, claiming to bring peace and prosperity to a broken world. All under the guise of lies and deception. Everyone will have to get the mark (Mark of the Beast) either on the wrist or forehead in order to buy or sell. This is the first 3 1/2 years, known as the Tribulation. The next 3 1/2 years is known as the Great Tribulation, where anyone who received the Mark of the Beast now suffers God's judgements. A terrible time to be in. All hell will be unleashed on Earth, no law or restraint will be present.
Roy emphasized the need to get people back on track with words of hope. When you lose hope, you have a tendency to walk away from Jesus and let the doubt cast itself on your thoughts. A seed can then be sown that perhaps, maybe, God doesn't exist.
These various puzzle pieces were not given to us all at once, just a little at a time. We wouldn't have been able to process such a vast amount of information if given to us entirely. Our feeble human minds can't handle that. Through this identification, applying to scripture, and knowing all we do about Roy, he kept bringing the word "arch" to our minds. He revealed to us he is indeed the Archangel Michael! What?!!! The Chief Prince?!!! As serious, strong, and fierce as he is, he does have a comedic side. We can still call him Roy though.
Shortly after this information was revealed to us and knowing the hell that is coming, I decided to pray for my two cats Giddy and Dommy that they wouldn't have to endure what is coming down the line. Dommy was closing in on 15 years old and always had to eat. Giddy, on the other hand, was young, only 5 years old, but my best friend. Both were always around us during the day, very sociable, and ,knew our usual routines. One day, out of nowhere Dommy started losing mass amounts of weight and hiding. He was trying to lay in a mound of mulch, unable to move or walk. I carried him to a shady area and put my hand on his chest praying for him to be spared any more pain. Suddenly a gust of wind came over us, and Dommy now was unconscious, heart still beating, but looking asleep. Then he passed away. The thought came to me that one of our angels swooped in to take him. That date was May 16th 2024. Fast forward to September 10 2024, I get up one morning, and Giddy who would normally greet me was laying on his ottoman, he wouldn't come over. At one point he got off the ottoman and started vomiting. This continued for four days, each day he was getting worse. I tried calling every vet in the area, some as far as over an hour away. We were quoted that his care would cost a minimum of $3000, but could be as much as $5000 for specialty care, etc. We couldn't get him the help he needed simply because of the cost alone. The night of September 12th came and I was desperate for a solution. I'm literally watching my best friend wither away before my eyes. I prayed, my eyes flowing from the tears, and just then Roy flew in. The door slammed shut from the force of his entrance. He said "stop praying, I will personally take him tonight and carry him into Heaven myself." Roy and Giddy knew one another and they liked each other. Giddy was still hanging on, I rested my hand lightly on him, telling him Roy was getting him out of here tonight, but he will be going to Heaven to be with Jesus. Giddy, being the cool cat he was, just blinked once, and passed away the morning of the 13th. Roy showed me that this was all part of a plan, to be executed ahead of time, which is why nothing we did for him panned out. The miraculous thing of all this, is his entrance into Heaven. The word "honor" was repeated over and over. Indeed, pets do go to Heaven, but only certain ones that have the "honor" code. These pets are service animals, police K9's, therapy pets, any animal that has served their human well here on Earth, whether it be for helping their human or doing a good deed, such as saving a life, etc. Both cats were therapy pets, helping me in my time of need after a military service that left me with PTSD. Both were compassionate in their unconditional love for their humans. And both therapy pets, died within four months of each other. Absolutely devastating!
I couldn't have seen this coming, so heartbreaking, so painful. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, nor sorrows, nor crying, nor shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away Revelations 21:4 (KJV). This knowledge brings Roy to say "let me show you something".............

Stockholm Week 2: Museum Museum Museum!
Välkommen, again, to my journey in Stockholm!
I'll get started right away:
1/23 Tue: Visiting Host Family
A lot of snow melted (finally) this week, and it was my first full week of classes. I watched a comedy film I Love Lucy in Glued to the Screen class and talked about political ideas and issues in the Swedish Language and Culture course. I thought the U.S. education system had a lot of discussion built into the curriculum, but the Swedish Language and Culture course had even more discussion integrated into the class. We listened and gave opinions about concepts like nationalism in addition to typical vocabulary and grammar lessons.
Last week, I was accepted into the Visiting Host Program through DIS and invited for dinner with another student! I had a few hours after class and you know I didn’t miss the opportunity to go shopping ;) I went into Zara instead and tried on a bunch of clothes. Compared to other countries, Zara in Europe has bigger sales and better quality clothes!

I shopped around the rich stores (Moncler, Gucci, etc) but did not dare go in
On the way to my Visiting Host family, I met up with the other invited student (also from Minnesota! What a coincidence) in the subway station (where I got lost for a good 10 minutes). The hosts were SO NICE and the 5-year-old baby was SO CUTE.

She braided our hair and put a pin as a cherry on top
They prepared authentic Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes, lingonberry jam, and white wine. The dessert called princess cake was very pretty and sweet as its name <3

I usually don't like wine but this one was surprisingly good and I’m planning on asking the name of it!
We had such a good time, and I am excited to see them again soon!
1/24 Wed: Museum Field Study
Our film class, Glued to the Screen, met altogether at the Swedish National Museum of Science and Technology (Tekniska Museet) at 2 pm on Wednesday.
This was nothing like I imagined. The museum had three floors and there were endless passages and stairs and rooms that we went through. It mainly covered the history of technology in Sweden and Europe.
Although two hours of continuous walking was exhausting, we took hundreds of photos and were submerged in activities. In fact, two hours was not enough time to look around the huge museum packed with interactive activities like gaming, cycling, driving, etc.

Air balloon, AI, VR, Phone booths, and so much more

This particular room was full of mirrors!
After the independent tour around the museum, as with all field studies, we had a fika at the wooden cafe in the museum.
If you are able to go, please order the strawberry smoothie there. It was DELICIOUS!
After the field trip, my friends and I spontaneously, again, headed for more shopping. I did a big Zara haul and so did my friends.
I can’t stop buying clothes and it’s a problem. The discounts aren’t helping either :(
1/25 Thu: Sour Day
Because I had four hours in between classes on Thursday, I killed time in the library in the DIS building (was going to work on homework but inevitably fell asleep for a while). Then, with the goal of waking up, I headed to a bigger ICA supermarket. Aaaand as you could’ve imagined I couldn’t pass by the snacks corner without buying some. I got a wide range of chocolate and jellies.
Afterward, I went back to DIS to actually do homework. I got bored after a few minutes; I took out the chocolate bag. The moment I took a bite of a round chocolate ball, I stopped biting. Not voluntarily, but forcefully. There was a very hard, blue ball inside the chocolate cover. With hesitation, I tried licking the exposed side and regretted my choice immediately. It was extremely salty AND sour.
I learned the hard way that I should read the descriptions before putting all kinds of chocolate in the goodie bag.
1/26 Fri: Busy Busy Friday
Friday was another thrift day for me. DIS leads led us and showed us around the secondhand stores in Zinkensdamm. The high-end vintage store Beyond Retro sold clothes for 500 Krona (~$50) while the more common stores like Myrorna and Stockholm Stadsmission had things for 50 Kr (~$5). The latter ones were more of my style.
For dinner, I finally had MAX. It is a Swedish burger chain that has tons of menus including Vegan and Vegetarian options. I tried the advertised burger meal with the sweet potato fries on the side. The burger was as good as I was told by the locals. I’m definitely going back to try other burgers and smoothies!
We faced an unexpected amount of snow on the way back home but it was so pretty that I forgave the weather.

My hair was soaking wet
That same night, my friends living in a different student apartment came to Södermalm to try out the bars here. We sat down and talked and had a couple of drinks together to end the night <3
1/27 Sat: More Museum Trips
We made it to the Banksy Museum just to find out that the tickets for that day and the next day were sold out already. To make sure this doesn’t happen again, we booked the tickets for next week on the spot. The Fotografiska museum, which was conveniently right next door, compelled us in. We got a student discount (199 Kr ~$19.90) and separately wandered around the museum to appreciate each artwork. My favorite ones were Rinko Kawauchi’s photo collection located on the top floor.

The artwork reminded me of words like ethereal, surreal, serendipity
We couldn’t walk past the photo booth either! It was $6, which was not as expensive as the ones found in the subway ($9.99).
The camera started shooting right after we paid, so you can see us caught off guard in the first frame. I got the black and white version and my friend took the colored one.

But aren’t we so cute <;3

Even the sky on the way back home was gorgeous.
1/28 Sun: Flea Market!
DIS notified students about the weekend flea market and I recruited people to go with me as soon as I saw the information.

There were tens and hundreds of people selling and buying clothes and home goods for a good price!
I got a jacket, 5 gold rings, a sweater, shorts, and a mesh top for a total of 274 Kr, which is about 27 dollars. The flea market was a cheaper and higher quality version of a thrift store and I absolutely loved it. Do you see a trend here ;)
We were craving pastries later on so we stopped at Gamla Stan to grab some before going home.

Selfie!
As people with high standards, we inspected more than five cafes to find the perfect place that met our needs. A bakery called PANEM was our last stop, and the desserts there were phenomenal even at a reasonable price.

I got a mango mousse cake and it was the best dessert I’ve had in Stockholm so far!!!
This concludes my second week in Stockholm. Stay tuned for more adventures from me!

How Safe Storage Bangalore Is Ideal for Short-Term Relocation or Travel
Whether you’re heading out for a work assignment, traveling abroad, or transitioning between homes, one question looms large: where do you keep your stuff? If you’re in Bangalore, safe storage Bangalore options from Space Valet offer a convenient and secure answer.
Short-term relocation or extended travel shouldn’t force you to sell, move, or crowd your family’s home with extra belongings. Instead, flexible and reliable self storage can provide the breathing room you need during the transition.
Why Short-Term Storage Makes Sense
Not all moves are permanent. Many people in Bangalore face situations such as:
Temporary job relocation to another city
Sabbatical or long vacation abroad
Home renovation or waiting for possession
Internship or student exchange programs
Moving out of a rented flat before finding a new one
In these cases, carrying everything with you or cramming it into a relative’s home just adds more stress. That’s where storage in Bangalore proves its value.
How Space Valet Helps During Temporary Moves
Space Valet’s short-term storage solutions are designed for flexibility, security, and simplicity. You don’t have to worry about logistics or long-term commitments.
1. On-Demand Pickup and Delivery No need to rent a vehicle or load items yourself. We pick everything up from your location and deliver them back when you return.
2. Professional Packing Services Our team ensures that your furniture, appliances, clothing, and personal items are securely packed using multi-layer protection for long-term care.
3. Private, Lockable Storage Units Unlike shared warehouse spaces, your belongings are stored in individual, lockable units monitored round-the-clock.
4. No Lock-In Periods Store your items for a few weeks or several months—whatever your schedule demands. Plans are completely flexible.
5. Regular Monitoring and Clean Environment Our facilities are cleaned regularly, pest-controlled, and maintained to keep your belongings in excellent condition.
Items Perfect for Short-Term Storage
Depending on your move, you might need to store:
Furniture (sofas, beds, tables)
Kitchen appliances (microwaves, mixers, etc.)
Luggage and travel bags
Books and paperwork
Clothing and footwear
Personal or seasonal items
Electronics or TV units
Whether it’s just a few boxes or an entire home’s worth of belongings, Space Valet customizes your storage plan based on what you need to store.
Why Choose Space Valet for Short-Term Storage?
There are many storage providers in Bangalore, but here’s what makes Space Valet the top choice for those in transition:
Pickup and drop across Bangalore
Clean, private storage units
Flexible duration—no fixed contracts
Biometric access control and 24/7 CCTV
Trusted by frequent travelers, students, and professionals
With Space Valet, your belongings are stored the way you would keep them at home—only with more space and better organization.

_____
On September 11, 2001, my husband and I raced down 24 flights of stairs after watching a passenger jet plow into the south tower of the World Trade Center six blocks from our apartment. We ran to what we hoped would be safety in Battery Park in the southern tip of Manhattan, only to be engulfed in dust and debris as the Twin Towers fell. For hours, we wandered in that choking cloud, until we were saved by one of the boats that spent all day ferrying people to safety.
Five days later, Christine Todd Whitman, the leader of the Environmental Protection Agency, assured us Lower Manhattan was safe and the air was clear. Ten days later, our landlord and officials from the city, state, and federal governments told us it was safe to return to our apartment.
We moved back on September 23. From our terrace, we could see crews digging 24 hours a day through the pile of twisted metal and charred steel. Fires smoldered at the site for months, and a sulfuric stench permeated the air. Every day, I wiped away the dust from every surface in the apartment, but every morning, a fresh layer of dust appeared, no matter how many washcloths we shoved under doors and around windows to keep it out. When we moved in 2005, I was horrified to discover just how much dust had settled beneath and behind furniture and in every hidden corner and crevice.
We now know the air in Lower Manhattan was far from “clear” when we returned to our apartment. It was toxic, filled with jet fuel, asbestos, glass fibers, and particles from pulverized electronics, cement, and other materials. Experts have compared breathing in the caustic dust to inhaling Drano. In the years since 9/11, that air has been linked to nearly 70 types of cancer and other illnesses that have since claimed twice as many lives as the attacks themselves. Whitman has apologized for falsely assuring the public the air was safe.
In 2010, Congress, after lengthy negotiations, established the World Trade Center Health Program to provide medical benefits to first responders and others whose health had been affected by the September 11 attacks. The program was extended by Congress in 2015 and covers people who worked in the rescue, recovery, or clean-up efforts at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, or the crash site of Flight 93 in Pennsylvania. It also provides benefits for people who lived, worked, went to school, or attended daycare in the New York City disaster area.
I have carefully kept track of the WTC Health Program and the Victim Compensation Fund (VCF) over the years because of my proximity to the disaster, and also because I am a licensed New York City tour guide. Since 2011—when the 9/11 memorial in New York officially opened—I have taken groups almost weekly to the memorial, pointing out the names of the nearly 3,000 people who died in the Towers on that day. I usually start my tours in the Memorial Glade, which was added in 2019 to commemorate the lives of those lost to 9/11-related illnesses. The site’s plaque reads, in part:
… whose actions in our time of need
Led to their injury, sickness, and death
Responders and recovery workers
Survivors and community members
Suffering long after September 11, 2001
From exposure to hazards and toxins …
For a long time, I didn’t think those words applied to me. But now, they probably do: At the beginning of this year, I began experiencing worrisome health symptoms. After a few tests, my doctor called to tell me I had uterine cancer. But I wasn’t completely surprised, because the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) had added uterine cancer to its list of WTC-related health conditions in 2023 “based on extensive scientific review and research.”
Because of that status and since my husband and I were among the 25,000 residents who lived south of Canal Street during the WTC cleanup, my cancer treatment should be covered by the WTC Health Program/VCF. But I have no idea if I will ever be able to claim those funds or receive any further treatments I might need, thanks to recent actions by our current administration.
The program benefits are supposed to last until 2090, but funding is shaky. A deal to include long-term funding in a spending bill appeared to have been worked out by Congress late in 2024, but criticism from Donald Trump, then the president-elect, and his adviser Elon Musk torpedoed that bipartisan spending deal. The smaller bill passed in December 2024 did not include funding for the 9/11 health fund, to the great disappointment of New York legislators, firefighters, and other advocates for the program.
Then in February, when I decided it was time to approach a doctor with my symptoms, I started seeing reports that the Trump administration had cut both funding and staff from the CDC, a move that would directly impact the WTC Health Program. After a strong bipartisan backlash, the funding cuts were reversed and some employees were rehired.
I had a full hysterectomy on March 27. While recovering, I submitted my WTC Health Program/VCF forms—just as a new threat to the funds became clear.
In late March and early April, the Trump administration announced plans to cut 10,000 jobs from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), including the CDC, which oversees the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH)—the branch that runs the WTC Health Program. NIOSH was expected to lose about two-thirds of its staff, at least 873 positions, including doctors, nurses, researchers, and administrative workers. Then, around the first of May, layoff notices were received by nearly all remaining NIOSH staff, including at least 16 workers in the WTC Health Program.
With such drastic reductions to staff, applications to the WTC Health Program likely can’t be properly reviewed or processed, and critical services—and they are critical, because cancer rates for the affected population have been reported to be much higher than average—will grind to a halt.
Even before the recent funding and staff cuts, the program was struggling to provide timely services for the more than 130,00 people currently enrolled. I recently spoke to a boat captain who spent 13 hours ferrying people to safety on 9/11, spending hours inside the toxic dust cloud that hung over Manhattan that day. After losing half his jaw to cancer, he submitted forms asking for compensation from the Health Program more than a year ago but has heard nothing.
Michael Barasch of the law firm Barasch & McGarry, which represents more than 40,000 responders and survivors who have been diagnosed with cancer and other 9/11-related illnesses (including me), recently communicated his fears to me in an email. “If the layoffs are not reversed, 9/11 responders and survivors will die, needlessly,” he said.
Anyone trying to receive care through the program must have their illness certified as being related to 9/11 exposure and receive approval to begin treatment or file for compensation. Although HHS asserts that the program is functioning properly, Barasch and others affiliated with the program have said patients are not receiving the certifications they need to move forward with treatments.
Barasch said three FDNY employees with 9/11-related cancer have been denied treatment from the WTC Health Program just two weeks ago. “The program simply can’t function after these massive layoffs,” he wrote.
For the last two decades, I have worked to keep the memory alive of those who died on 9/11. I tell tour groups how first responders rushed in; I show them the battered Sphere statue and discuss how it was buried under tons of debris. I’ve written a book and multiple articles about my experiences on that day and in the months that followed, and I’ve shared my 9/11 story in churches, libraries, schools, and jails- not just across America, but in-person in countries such as Japan, India, and Madagascar. My husband is just as active, coordinating an annual event that raises funds for a scholarship at Clemson University in the name of his friend and fraternity brother who died in the North Tower.
My goal has always been to honor my country’s promise to “Never Forget.” To never forget the ones who died on the planes, in the towers, in the streets. To never forget the ones who rushed into burning towers. Or spent months digging through smoldering rubble. Or cleaned buildings and houses or taught school or sold groceries or rebuilt lives in the blocks around Ground Zero.
Now I raise my voice for myself as well as the thousands like me. We need this fund. We need the health care providers and the researchers studying our diseases and the staff who read forms and fill in databases. Our country promised to remember. Can we still count on that promise?

How Predictive Maintenance Saves Fuel – Insights from Venus Truck Shop
At Venus Truck Shop, we’ve seen firsthand how predictive maintenance isn’t just a buzzword — it’s a fuel-saving, downtime-reducing, money-protecting powerhouse. Whether you're managing a single 18 wheeler truck or an entire fleet, understanding how predictive maintenance helps you save fuel can be a game changer.
Think about it: when was the last time your semi truck felt like it was guzzling more fuel than usual? Maybe your tires were slightly underinflated, or your wheel alignment was off. These small issues snowball into major fuel inefficiencies — costing your business thousands in the long run.
That’s where predictive maintenance steps in. Instead of waiting for your check engine light to flash or your truck to break down in the middle of nowhere, predictive maintenance uses data from your truck’s internal systems to forecast potential problems before they become costly emergencies.
Here at Venus Truck Shop — your go-to truck repair shop in Venus TX — we offer advanced computerized truck diagnostics and real-time engine diagnostics that give you deep insight into your vehicle’s performance. Whether you're dealing with Cummins X15 problems, Detroit diesel engine repair, or transmission issues, we help you catch problems early.
Fuel efficiency is all about consistency — keeping your engine tuned, your tires properly inflated, and your systems running smoothly. Our diesel mechanics at Venus Truck Shop focus on a full spectrum of truck and trailer maintenance, including:
Tire rotation and balance
Oil change service in Venus TX
Brake maintenance and brake pad maintenance
Engine repair service
Differential service
Axle repair service
Exhaust system care
Poorly maintained engines, misaligned axles, or dragging brakes can increase fuel consumption drastically. Our preventative maintenance programs ensure your diesel truck runs as efficiently as it did on day one.
One of our regular clients, operating a fleet of semi trucks, enrolled in our truck preventive maintenance program. Within three months, they reported a 12% drop in fuel consumption. How? Routine AC maintenance, clutch repair service, and ongoing truck electrical maintenance helped keep the fleet operating in peak condition.
We also offer DOT inspection services and ABS system checks that keep your truck legal and efficient — because a well-maintained vehicle isn’t just safer; it’s cheaper to operate.
Fuel efficiency extends beyond the engine. Something as simple as a damaged semi trailer door can affect aerodynamics, causing your rig to fight against the wind and burn more diesel. That’s why our welding service, semi truck trailer repair near me, and truck body work services play a key role in maximizing fuel economy.
Need an oil change in Venus TX, a quick tire change service, or even a brake line repair? We've got you covered. Our full-service truck shop and Venus tire shop are stocked and staffed for quick turnaround so your truck doesn’t sit idle (and waste fuel while running inefficiently).
Breakdowns hurt fuel efficiency too — especially if you're stuck idling or running auxiliary systems for hours. With 24/7 mobile truck repair services and emergency roadside service for trucks, we’ll get you back on the road fast. Whether it’s semi truck tire replacement, truck axle work in Venus TX, or roadside assistance for box trucks, we're just a call away.
At Venus Truck Shop, we don’t just fix trucks — we help you run a more efficient, profitable business. From big rig restoration to truck financing options, and even truck repair loans, we’re your one-stop solution for all things diesel.
So if you’re searching for the best repair services, a mechanic shop near me, or top-tier diesel engine repair, come see how predictive maintenance can change the game for your fleet. Let us help you save fuel, reduce breakdowns, and keep your rigs in peak condition.
Your truck works hard. Let’s keep it that way.
Visit Venus Truck Shop today — where truck care meets fuel-smart solutions.

having an absolutely insane one at work this week because of how crazy busy it's been 😭 sorry wordy rant incoming but like it's been sooooo bad. soooo bad like i've been doing (willing) overtime every single day this week just to make things less overwhelming going in to the next work day to the point where (with today counted) i'm going to clock like 62 hours worked total for a 40-hour work week. my paycheck is about to be 500$ more than it usually is
and yet it hasn't been enough because we've been SOOO goddamn busy i've been working after hours every single night to clear up all my emails (and assist with some of my coworkers' backlog) because i've racked up 20-40 daily i wasn't able to finish getting to during work because i've had so many to clear and i've had so many fucking people calling me. i feel like i'm part of a call center. i did not sign up for a call center. like i got over 100 calls just mon - wed alone AND on wednesday i had a customer actively harassing me who called me 24 times in a two hour span, actively spamming my line despite the fact i had changed my voicemail message on tuesday to specifically say "we are currently experiencing a high volume of customer inquiries and request your patience during this time" like CLEARLY SHE HEARD IT BC SHE CALLED SO MANY TIMES. WHAT PART OF MY MESSAGE SAYING I'M BUSY PLEASE BE A BIT PATIENT I HAVE A LOT OF CUSTOMERS TO GET TO DOESN'T CLICK. she also called our call center four times to complain i hadn't responded and our call center had to be like "we have received your multiple requests please give your account manager some time to respond"
today Finally things seem to have calmed down, but today was also just the straw that broke the camel's back also because i forgot to close my call program last night & someone called me at seven in the morning and woke me up, which caused me to then sleep through my work alarm after i fell back asleep (as i have some pretty troubled sleeping habits to begin w/). which caused my team lead to ask if i was okay because i was late and it worried her. so embarrassing having to be like "i'm fine i'm sorry i just overslept, i got an early call and it messed w/ me"
not to mention i had another customer call into our call center complaining that the email i had sent them "wasn't detailed regarding their charges" and they wanted to know when their order was going to move forward. i had explained their charges in full in my email to them and had noted that i needed their go-ahead to proceed w/ their order due to their charge concerns / inquiries. they clearly got my email because they called to complain about it. it was very much detailed all my emails to customers are detailed. and then they replied to it asking me to call them. I hate calling people so fucking much
anyways i'm so goddamn tired this week has been crazy overwhelming on the work side and i look forward to it being over.
#it's kind of funny bc last week i was having a relatively silent mental breakdown over the course of a few days that got Super bad#but this week ive mentaly been like. Fine. in a general mental illness sense. Just rly bad in a work sense. swapped one problem for another#bri.txt

My son bought a nice champion Athletics bag and really a good price. And they're having a clearance sale at Spencer's. He picked it up for a nice price these are usually quite expensive for him he had to have it and they helped out and he was having trouble selecting it and they were laughing well what are you going to really use and he says I've used champion before and they're happy about it and there was a Dickies there and there's some other brands there was one that was the Captain America he thought about that it's a little bigger this one's big this is nice we're happy about it.
--other stuff is happening but he needs this to travel with so you might have him use the red one until it falls apart right now the front zipper is not working there's a way to get it fixed he's going to try and do it
--we're getting psyched this is another portion of the program that will involve a lot less of this nasty low level baby stuff which is dangerous but horrendous. There is a question out there today is the 11th yesterday they said he's a felon and the fallout from it is in the news a little and it is increasing people do not want him in office there's a big call for him to drop out of being president and a lot of people want to see him quit. It's a huge huge deal a lot of people are telling people we want them all and he's starting fires and doing all sorts of stuff aggravating people who don't like him already and pretty soon he's going to be kicked out they actually don't like him it's happening right now also
--we are experiencing our son with some extra time and he's trying to think of what he needs. A backpack is one thing since this one is probably not going to last and it's kind of a tent material and it was inexpensive but the zippers know how to operate them no it's not very expensive we have a couple other things you might get but not today
--there's a rumor going around that he was injured or something and he was a while ago and he's still selfish for me because the idiots are sitting on it
--we need we need those idiots out and we're working on it that brings us today for today right now there is supposed to be a radiation first and it happened yeah it's pretty high and it's a little thicker and they're trying to see if our son is affected it is not and they are asking questions why is he not affected you keep doing this and we're causing harm to ourselves only and he keeps saying you have to leave and come back you have to go down you have to juice you have to treat it and if you don't you'll get cancer and die and they're not paying attention. Tomorrow morning early no it's really going to be Monday morning that the cavern might drop completely it's still a chance at Walmart but it's going to be pretty good at will we know it probably will it's going to be more rain and tuna can happen it's dropping six inches at a time no it's only dropping a couple inches it's a fresh water boy these people have pain in the ass but when the water goes off because of water coming down it might drop it but seriously there's still like 10 in to go and it's dropping two to three inches a day if that it's about 2 in 24-hour period but the radiation is very high it's not thick and maybe it's kind of intermittent when it gets here it's like 4 ft of 15 and then 5 ft of 20 and 3 ft of 10 even though it blows around it's still doing that it doesn't make a damn difference it evens out till about 3 minutes of 20 rad it's very high and it will affect people aversely right now you can see some people are affected a little bit and a are looking around and not really sure what you're doing and they remember 20 is a high dose over the next couple days cuz I'll probably go Monday or Tuesday morning no it's going to take 5 days until getting an office maybe that's another story. She's been has 30%, she's been of the cities top side and below yeah he's really at about 8%. Things actually start happening very very soon we're saying that this Capital drop in about 5 days and that is probably Thursday morning barring any sort of stupid luck. And that's actually not far from now but that would make it the 16th or something and yeah four more days so unless he can't handle the radiation and start spewing and it's people corrected usually do but boy he's a bladder mouth home he will possibly make it into office Terry cheeseman had only 10% of the cities if it's really bad but our son says which cities and that makes a difference. He's fighting like hell but this Friday coming he will probably have 20%, they have four more days and he needs power and the cavern will be dropping radiation everywhere for three or four days and Terry c and company are using rare methods to try and avoid the radiation no they're doing tried and true methods Trump is not and his people are going to be out but that still leaves out of his roughly 4.5% duplicates it leaves by that time hopefully around 3.3% and Terry c around the 20th would only have 35% of the cities if Trump or to buy it his son would be president is not true it would go to the Secretary of State and that happens to be Tommy f and it will be the speaker of the house as VP. And the new vice president would not be in office. And they hold an election and it's to be held 6 months later starting the first day of the occurrence. So with that said there's a lot of stuff that would have to happen before the 20th but if he gets in Tommy f is going to hold it with an iron grip and he does have more forces than Trump and Terry c combined.
--really there's a bunch of movies people say he has to be in and it's not true
--he's actually not playing Governor newsom but we think that going to do some gets shot but there's a lot of that coming up
--I think it would be hard-pressed thing to do would still be 3% but our son says a lot of people want to rule and they don't want him really and his duplicates want to rule and that's the group that he's from now and there's a war already between them and they be tried to take the White House it might align them. This is going to come down to the wire we do think that there are several things that are definitely going to happen as they have started to
*Terry cheesman is going to try and get it office and very hard
*Tommy savino is going to try and get an office very hard
*Charles m has been elected and his son Dave Dan and they're trying to maintain their position very hard and all of them are battling in DC and Virginia and the Carolinas and New England elsewhere too but it's hard there
*there's a couple other parties trying to get in like dja and others
*the duplicates believe in Charles m but one of them will do fine if he's out if Terry cheeseman gets in they won't be happy about it but it would keep it for their people
*the duplicates don't want Charlie m out or Dave Dan that's not true they want them out
*Terry c wants Dave Dan out and Charlie m
*bja and entire clan and family want Terry c and Charles m out and Dave Dan
*most people on Earth want them out anybody in there even Terry c is better you say it too these kids right he's an a****** the Mac proper don't seem to care to have him out but a lot of them don't like him and they've had it he's an idiot who spills the beans at the right time he has no back home and people think he does and ruin stuff
Did that said we will say we don't think people want to felon in but they're going ahead with it. We don't like him because he's evil and he threatens her son too much is a f** and he made a mess out of the country we're using against the entire realm successfully well continue to.
We have a lot of territory to take from him and he doesn't care because he's an airhead. There are bases in the midwest we want and need the Northeast and Southeast we want right away they're having a little war off and on in those locations the pseudo empire has most of them in the Midwest and these guys are starting to get it
--this war is going to heat up our son will get things because they will have things given to him from them to try and have us take some of the load
And more shortly

My first job in the non-profit world, long before I was a fundraiser, was at a local sexual violence crisis centre with a 24-hour crisis line.
I staffed the crisis line during business hours a few days a week (that non-profit part-time life, woo), and supported the volunteers who covered evening and weekend shifts. I debriefed the volunteers a lot of the time. I talked to callers. Once or twice I accompanied a caller to the local hospital if they wanted to have a rape kit done by the trained nurse. There was only ever one person answering calls at a time, so we took volunteer training and support very seriously - even though I wasn’t in charge of the crisis line or training, I was often who volunteers wanted to talk things through with, or they called me outside of work hours if they needed support.
Our approach was to provide info and resources if requested, but we weren’t there to give advice or tell callers what they should or shouldn’t do - we were there to listen, validate feelings and experiences, and provide a safe space to talk about what happened. The centre also offered free one-to-one counselling with licensed professionals (social workers or counsellors primarily), but the face-to-face piece is a big step, so the we often had repeat callers. I still think about some of them, 20ish years later.
It was…a lot. I was pretty young and still figuring out empathy then, and it definitely changed me. There’s a reason I decided against staying in that line of work - I had literally been accepted to a masters of social work program when I was offered my first full-time fundraising job, and I wonder sometimes how differently my life might have gone if I’d chosen the MSW.
All that to say - it absolutely fucking sucks that sometimes people’s experiences with crisis lines are negative, and I hate that those experiences aren’t as uncommon as they should be. But please don’t write crisis lines off completely. I genuinely believe that, for the most part, the people who are on the other end of the phone are doing this work because they want to help people. Call the crisis line if you need help.
Fair warning though - if we genuinely believed the caller was suicidal and an imminent danger to themselves, we were required to call for an ambulance. It was very much a last resort, and I don’t think that happened more than once or twice in my several years there, usually if people hung up and wouldn’t pick up if we called back. Most often, we would negotiate with the caller to not harm themselves in the immediate future and instead promise to call again if they were struggling - it was very much short-term-focused harm reduction. I suspect most crisis lines will have a similar policy.
everytime i see someone promoting crisis lines i just remember the times both a suicide hotline and a domestic violence hotline hung up on me lmao
