speaking of the finale there are two things that bug me about it. first why didnt ava use the halo to summon the demons before trying to blow herself up? she had clearly already thought about it

like ig i can see it as her not going for it because if she summoned the demons then she was bringing all of them into their dimension and putting people at risk but she could have phased out of there since they were after her and she ended up having to do it anyway except now she was dying and couldnt fight them

and two why did reya just stand there and let ava kill herself? it was established that she was way more powerful than adriel and we know that adriel didnt lose his power while on earth so we can assume that she didnt either. and we also see that she has control over the demons which she could have used as ava did. so why just stand back and watch? aside from the plot requiring ava to be mortally wounded, i dont see why that was necessary. am i missing something?
