Cars The first-ever production car and a flying car are on display in the V&A’s major retrospective on the automobile. Over its short 130-year history, the car has become one of the most loved, contested and influential innovations in the world. It has revolutionised manufacturing, transformed how we move, forever changing our cities, environment and economies. This exhibition looks at the car as the driving force that accelerated the pace of the 20th century. It brings together a wide-ranging selection of cars that have never been on display in the UK, each telling a specific story about their impact on the world. This includes the first production car in existence, an autonomous flying car, a converted low-rider, and a 1950s concept car. Pedalada pelada

Em 16 de março de 2019 os frequentadores do Largo da Batata foram surpreendidos pela chegada de um grupo bem grande de pessoas nuas e seminuas sobre suas bicicletas. Tratava-se da 12˚ Pedalada Pelada, evento que reúne ciclistas de várias gerações para protestar a violência do trânsito sobre seus corpos. Essa saída é anual e acontece no mesmo dia e mesma hora  nas grandes cidades do mundo todo, um evento em rede organizado pela Massa Crítica – movimento mundial que surgiu há 20 anos em São Francisco nos EUA. Conversamos brevemente com o Henrique do Espírito Santo que é um dos organizadores do movimento Massa Crítica SP, encontros e a protestos como este afirmam a potência e importância de ocuparmos a cidade com nossos corpos de maneira propositiva. Um grande parabéns pra quem pedalou e protestou com a nudez sobre a bike!
