This place is absolutely faultless. From the beautiful scenery to the fantastic staff to the tiny details throughout the day. There was absolutely no pressure from Claire, the event manager, to make any decisions, it was all done at my pace. From remembering how I had my tea at meetings with her to just being there through all the planning process whether it was to do with the venue or not! On the day, the staff were there for every single guest from 8-80. The day ran seamlessly (even when I did turn up late!). I can’t recommend the Nottinghamshire highly enough, what an absolutely incredible venue and I wish I could every bit of it all again!

We would highly recommend The Nottinghamshire. We wanted a single venue that could handle the ceremony, reception and evening events and The Nottinghamshire provided this. From the first meeting with Katie and her team they were receptive to all of our ideas and did everything they could to accommodate all of them. We wanted everything to be relaxed and informal and Katie and the team achieved this by ensuring that everything was done and organised to a very high standard which meant we could enjoy the day with our guests.

Planning our wedding in 11 weeks was quite daunting at first but the professionalism, encouragement and reassurance from our frequent meetings made it all possible and most importantly so enjoyable!! Our wedding day was literally the best day ever, no regrets and would highly recommend this venue to any couple wanting a beautiful, stress free and memorable wedding to share with their friends and family. Huge thanks to The Residence Boutique Hotel team too, absolutely gorgeous rooms and fab breakfast for our partied out wedding guests who loved the rooms and hospitality! Just wish we could do it all again!!!

Most people say that planning a wedding is stressful but I can honestly say, this was stress free as Claire and The Nottinghamshire staff took care of everything, leaving us to only really have to sort table decorations, suits and of course the wedding dress. The Nottinghamshire, the staff and Claire will always hold a special place in our hearts for making sure our Wedding Day was what we’d dreamt of and for that we couldn’t thank you enough.

After searching high and low for the perfect venue for our special day we were completely blown away by everything about The Nottinghamshire. Lovely rooms with beautiful views, boutique accommodation, heavily stocked bar – it was a must ;)! Lastly and most importantly the most amazing and helpful staff! Our day could not have been better if we tried, our speeches ran over schedule by around 40 minutes because most people were blubbering messes. This hadn’t affected the food what so ever, meat cooked to perfection and the food was to die for! Massive compliments to the chef!
