Today’s a weird day. Lots of photography loose ends to tie up, and I won’t get a chance to pick up my cello. It’s been a weird old journey transitioning as a professional from one industry to another, and now I find myself incredibly restless, wanting to just play and improve my performance skills ALL the time. : My sole income is through my cello now, just playing (no teaching). I never thought I’d see the day. That Girl in the Bubble

What an Awesome event @dq_jozi featuring @that_girl_in_the_bubble. I've missed shooting events sooooo much, I'd almost forgotten how much I enjoy it!!! Its been almost 2 years since I've been able to shoot an event due to Lockdown restrictions in the industry.

Played for pretty much 6 hours at #BridesTheShow2018, at max volume, all solo cello, trying to be heard over live bands and catwalk shows. Now lying in my hotel room wondering if I’ll have feeling in my shoulders tomorrow. AHHHHHHHHHH. 😂 (Got to Hotel Reception, they asked asked where I’d been playing and I explained; she was in awe and gave me a couple of drinks vouchers.
