Sex is nice and all but I also just love cuddling my love under blankets. Surrounded by our plushies, the smell of the apple pie we made still lingering in the air as I nuzzle my face into his soft fluffy hair while we watch some movie he just adores, kissing their cheek softly and mumbling a sleepy I love you, sweetheart, as I hold them in closer~

notes: here is a little drabble in honor of toji's birthday! this piece was originally titled as "adoration" but I changed it to this instead. I'm taking a small posting break, but I'll be back to my regular schedule within a week! I'm sorry if I haven't been responding to tags or messages, but I will do so soon <3 I hope you're all having a wonderful time and I'm sending all my well wishes out to you! xo
ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ tags: widow toji; age gap (reader is 30 while toji is in his early 40s); a little angsty; toji attempting to break up with you but failing because he's oh so in love
toji overstayed his welcome which was only supposed to last the scorching heat of summer, but he found himself lingering through the quiet stillness of fall. winter came in with a brisk chill and gloomy skies, and that's when toji knew it was time for him to end things with you.
he’s lost interest far quicker in previous relationships. they served their purpose of healing over the wound in his heart, of soothing away the ache of loneliness. he oftens forgets that he was once a loyal, loving husband whenever he abandons yet another fling.
the difference, however, is he at least had the guts to verbally cut things off before.
fucking pathetic, he thinks as he scolds himself. he's been a coward, reducing his actions to disappearing before the sunlight peeks through the horizon, and avoiding any chance of waking you up. he ensures that he is never there to see the way your brows furrow with concern when your hand meets the cold pillow, because otherwise he would falter in his attempt to escape.
this has been going on for over two weeks now but last night was the first time you've actually snapped at his cold, detached behavior. he approached the argument with nonchalance to wither you down, shrugging off the gnawing feeling in the pit of his stomach and then walking out halfway through the fight.
he stayed at a motel thinking that maybe you have finally taken the hint that he's done.
he arrives back to his apartment only to be met with unfamiliar silence. the entrance of his home is dark and lifeless, and it's so quiet he can even hear a pin drop. there's a tightness in his chest, followed by a wave of disappointment that runs over him like a feverish shiver.
despite his hard headed decision, he's still anticipating on hearing your lovely voice to greet him as he walks through the door.
he knows it's selfish.
toji expected many things to happen after last night's fight. he figured the reaction to him leaving you (again) would be far bigger. a screaming phone call or a string of cursing text messages to call him out on his shitty behavior.
after all he deserves it for acting like an insufferable asshole.
he tries to swallow his guilt but it remains lodged in his throat when he acknowledges that this might actually be the end.
the expression on his features falls.
it’s better this way, he consoles, dragging his feet across the floor to approach his kitchenette. he shrugs off his beaten up, oversized coat and tosses it over one of the chairs. he opens one of the cupboards, and grabs a mug to prepare himself a cup of tea.
she’s too young to settle for a guy like me, he continues. widowed with two kids who he barely sees anymore, working paycheck to paycheck just to make ends meet…
a deadbeat.
he exhales, swirling his brew in his ceramic cup. the aroma of sweet leaves dances up the spiral of steam to kiss his nose.
she deserves more than me.
he places the kettle down but stares at the cup mindlessly, losing all train of thought as his hands grip onto the edge of the counter.
he can acknowledge that his insecurities are clouding his judgement on something truly special, even though this was only ever meant to be purely physical.
except, the sex was growing more intimate. the experience wasn't about pleasure for him anymore. he would find himself losing all focus to the depth of your pretty eyes, stealing kiss after kiss like your mouth was the source of where all his happiness belongs.
belonged.
belonged.
it’s over now, he thinks again. it has to be.
a faint patter of footsteps distracts him, prompting him to ease his hold on the counter as the muscles on his face relax. his heart steadies itself, and he draws in a breath when he feels two arms delicately twine around his waist.
“you’re...still here...” he points out in shock.
he feels you press your forehead into his back. “of course, where else would I be?”
he clears his throat to release the guilt then spins on his heel to face you.
"I thought you might have taken off," he bluntly states as he rests his lower back against the counter.
his heart swells, emanates flurries of golden sparks when he meets your gorgeous irises. the will to carry on with his decision crumbles when he catches the corner of your mouth tick into a slight grin.
"I thought about it," you reply casually, loosening your grip to place your palms flat on the side of his stomach. "but the truth is I'm worried about you and I just…want to talk things out…make sure you're okay...”
“I’m the one acting like a jerk and you’re worried about me?” he blurts.
you quirk your brow at the slip of his question. “so, you know you’re acting like a jerk?”
toji’s eyes widen slightly, a hint of pink tainting his cheek. “I asked the question first.”
you purse your lips playfully, aware of the crack that's been revealed and ready to swing once again with another blow.
“it’s because you’re acting like a jerk that I’m worried about you,” you explain, “you’re not yourself when you’re unsettled about something…”
his face warms, the hue of pink deepening into a stronger blush. the familiarity of pointing out his personal traits feels all too homely. seven months shouldn’t feel like a forever but in this bubble with you time ceases to exist.
you trail the pads of your finger tips up his torso, your hands clasping around the back of his neck as you press all your soft and sweet parts right up against the frame of his body.
the brush of your lips on his scar prompts him to flutter his eyes close. he fails to stop himself from holding you then, his firm hands reaching for the outline of your waist
“so,” you murmur with a tempting kiss as you return to your question, “you know you’re acting like a jerk then?”
please don’t make me say it, he thinks, please don’t make me unravel right in front of your eyes.
he squeezes your side, whispering a defeated “listen…”
“did I do something wrong?” you question, a hint of pain laced through every vowel which only makes his heart ache further. “did something happen?”
toji shakes his head.
“it’s not you,” he grumbles. “look, you asked me a couple of weeks ago if this thing between us was serious and…it shouldn’t be.”
you narrow your gaze, tilting your head with adorable confusion that makes toji want to kiss you right there on the spot.
he can feel you pluck at the fabric of his sweater nervously, “why not?”
toji drops his head and sighs.
“c’mon, doll, let’s be real. I’ve got nothing to give you other than a good fuck in this shitty apartment. you're better off finding someone else and I don't want to waste your time”
you press your mouth into a firm line. “your behavior…” you reply, nipping your bottom lip slightly as you gather your thoughts. “are you acting like this because you…want to end things with me?”
toji has never felt smaller. you’ve reduced him into a shriveled pea rolling around his scuffed up boot. “look, it’s better this way, alright?” he admits with a raise of his head, still refusing to outwardly say what you easily deduced. “it's better to move on before things get too complicated…”
the silence hangs heavy in the air, the tension so thick toji feels like he can’t breathe properly. his heart rattles with no restraint, and he finds himself suddenly lightheaded. an apology rests on the tip of his tongue, ready to take back everything he just bombarded you with but his throat simply tightens once more when your hands cradle his strong jaw.
“I like your apartment,” you quietly speak, “your bed sheets always smell so good, and you fixed the water pressure after I complained that it sucked…”
toji blinks back his surprise.
“I also notice that you burn the candle that I got you and that you switched laundry detergents when your old one gave me that weird rash,” you giggle and toji couldn’t help but huff out an embarrassed laugh himself. “the windows let in the best kind of sunlight, and it’s always so cozy in here…”
you press your lips against his mouth to leave a chaste kiss, “as for the company…” you add on, nuzzling the tip of your nose over his, “I consider you more than just a good fuck.”
toji can physically feel himself wilting underneath the heat of your gaze. “I’m just looking out for you, doll.”
"you can look out for me by making me breakfast instead of running away from me..."
he looks serious but his eyes are sincere, holding a level of tenderness that he only reserves for you. his palm moves to seek out your lower back, a hint of pressure pulling you back into his warmth.
your lover has stayed tight lipped about his past, but over his period with you he's found himself spilling out a few secrets here and there.
"I haven't done this in a long time," he vulnerably admits.
"I know," you reassure him, "but...the real question is, do you want this?"
he parts his lips ready to seal the last nail in the coffin, ready to give you the chance to walk out of his life for good. but you're gazing up at him from underneath your eyelashes, your determined stare an opening of your own mercy. your plush, supple lips summoning his cowardice into oblivion.
"toji?"
his breath hitches, his apprehension silenced by the urgency of his desire.
you're so lovely, he thinks. you feel like home.
"I want you," he reveals, his deep voice smoky and untethered, releasing enough sentiment in those three words that he can feel you tremble in his arms. "I just don't deserve you. I don't want you getting caught up in my bullshit..."
""you're a lot sweeter than you look, you know?" you run your fingers through the streaks of his black hair, combing it back to reveal his forehead. "you deserve to be happy, toji, and...and I think I can make you happy..."
your aura beams with delight when he flashes you a wolfish grin in return. a smile you've grown to adore so deeply. his apology comes in the form of a kiss, one that's gentle and slow. a stroke of fire burns up the back of your neck, making you quiver in places when he glides his tongue across yours. you hum softly into his lips while he releases a content sigh, the barrier he's been keeping up turns to ashes beneath your feet.

The bartender smiles at you as you settle down on a bar stool.
“Welcome back.” he greets. You are half shocked to find out that he actually remembered you after seven long months.
“You remember me?” You return his smile.
“How could I not? You are certainly one of the most beautiful yet humble ladies I have ever served.” he compliments and your smile widens.
“Thanks..” you reply, being quite flattered.
“Will you take the same as that night?” the bartender asks.
Just the mention of that night spreads goosebumps on your entire body. Oh how you want to repeat that night, how you want to end in that same position over and over again. You must be a freak for wanting so, but you don’t care.
“Yes, yes please.” You murmur your order.
You do a quick scan of the bar, trying to find that one face you came all the way here for. But to your dismay, you don’t find what you are looking for. You get no sight of him.
“He is not here tonight.” the bartender pipes in while placing your drink down on the bartop.
“Huh? I- I didn’t get you.” you lie.
“You are looking for him. The guy from that night. Aren’t you?” he smirks.
“I won’t say no.” You take a sip of your drink, “is he a regular here?”
“Yes. Almost. But never seen him hitting on anyone other than you though.”
“Oh.” you reply, taking another sip. The bartender gives you one last smile before he leaves you to your own devices.
As soon as the space is empty, you let your mind (and heart) drift back to that night of seven months ago.
Tumblr media
Seven months ago
“Long island iced tea is the best choice if you want something refreshing.” a voice interrupts your menu reviewing process as you look up from the screen to take a look at the owner of the voice.
You are spellbound. Your eyes have never had the privilege of resting on a more handsome man. His pale skin perfectly compliments his feline eyes and thin lips. His long and dark hair reaches to his nape enhancing his beauty even more. If there is anything you could compare his beauty to then it would be a mansion with a view of a wide blue sky and equally blue ocean.
You don’t realize that you are staring at the stranger with your mouth hanging open.
You only get your composure back when his bicep brushes with yours as he tries to settle on the bar stool next to yours.
You avert your eyes from him and proceed to place your order, “One long island iced tea please.” The bartender nods.
“Thanks for the suggestion.” you look at him again, this time with a small smile adoring your lips.
He smiles back at you and god! Why is your heart acting up like this? You look away not being able to tame your hormones that are making you feel all giddy in the presence of a handsome stranger.
“Is this your first time here? In this bar? I haven’t seen you around before.” he asks and you face him again.
“Ah yeah. I am visiting Daegu for a family function and going back to Seoul tomorrow… so… enjoying some alone time, I suppose.” you don’t know why you are spilling up so many TMIs, when only a ‘yes’ could have worked perfectly.
“I see. Nice to meet you Miss….” he raises one of his eyebrows playfully.
“Y/N” you complete for him.
“Yes. Y/N. I’m Min Yoongi.”
“Nice to meet you too, Yoongi.”
Tumblr media
That night ended up with you withering under Yoongi while he pounded into you, with your fingers tangled up into his long dark hair that you liked so much. You loved everything about that night. You loved everything about Min Yoongi. Staring from his dark jeans and Nike shoes, the way his footsteps sounded on the hotel staircase, to the way his cock felt in your tight cunt, the way he sucked on your nipples and bit on them to make you whimper, the way he painted your skin with bruises that took days to disappear and especially the way his lips fit with yours as if they were made for each other.
Next morning you woke up beside him with his body pressing into yours. You had to bid him goodbye in a haste since your bus was leaving within an hour. You regret not asking for his number or anything else other than his name. But then again, you were just his one night stand and he could have easily rejected your proposition. So it’s probably for the best.
However, there’s not a single day you haven’t thought of him in these seven months. His face, his touches, his kisses keep coming back to you almost every time you close your eyes. And as a result, you are here, after seven damn months. You don’t even know if you are going to see him or not. And if you do, then you don’t even know if he will recognize you or not. And if he does then, you don’t even know if he will ignore you or not.
You inhale sharply as you take another sip of your long island iced tea.
“Welcome back… Y/N” and there it is, the voice you were craving to hear. The man that you are here for. You follow his voice and you see the man standing there with all of his glory, giving you one of his gummy smiles and taking all of your breath away.
“Yoongi.” you smile back in awe.
“Didn’t think I was going to see you again.” he says coming closer to you.
“Neither did I.” you mutter.
Silence settles between you two as you stare at each other for a few moments.
“Do you have any plans tonight?” Yoongi questions.
“Not really.” you answer.
“Then.. would you like to go for a walk? By the beach?”
“Sure.”
Tumblr media
“I don’t wanna freak you out but I couldn’t stop thinking of you since that night.” you murmur in between the kiss. The moonlit sea is roaring before you.
“Neither could I. Why did you think Jimin called me as soon as you arrived at the bar?” Yoongi breathes out placing chaste kisses on your lips.
“Jimin? The bartender? You know him personally?” you detach your mouth from his and look into his beautiful eyes.
He gives you a small smile, “well, he is more like a friend and less like an employee.”
“Employee? Wait- you own that bar?” you untangle your hands from his neck and try to stand straight only for him to push you back on the wall and press his body on yours even more.
“Yes. and you are the first customer I have ever hit on since the birthday of my bar.”
You giggle, “Really? Then I must be lucky.”
“Maybe? Or maybe you just made me crazy?” Yoongi’s lips come closer to yours once more.
“I did?”
“I know it’s too soon to make promises but that one night wasn’t enough. I want to know you more, discover you more, fall for you more.” Yoongi whispers right into your month.
"Yoongi-"
"Is it cool that I said all that? Is it too soon to do this yet? 'Cause I know that it's delicate." he cuts you off.
“What do you think I am here for Yoongi?” you ask him, “I want you just as much.” you seal your lips with his.
This time the night ends with you watching the sun rise on the beach, standing barefoot on the sand as Yoongi wraps you from behind in a tight back hug while promising each other more than just nights from now on.

A3! Yukishiro Azuma - Translation [SR] Festival of Blooming (2/2)
Tumblr media
*Please read disclaimer on blog
---
Azuma: How do I look?
Guy: It is a tad large, but it suits you well.
Tumblr media
Azuma: Fufu. I’m glad.
Guy: However, it does feel a little strange letting someone else wear your own clothes.
Azuma: Is it unpleasant?
Guy: That is not what I meant. I do not have much experience with this sort of thing, so it feels refreshing. And in any case, this may pose as a good opportunity to view myself objectively.
Azuma: Alright, I’ll have to do my best in my skit so you’ll think of it as an even better opportunity.
Guy: Great. I am looking forward to it.
Azuma: Okay, I’m going to start now.
*sets box down*
Azuma: “…It appears Mika sent various items again this time.”
Tumblr media
Guy: (He is holding a cardboard box… Is this me when I receive a care package from Zafra?)
Azuma: “Is this the newly released spice? There’s new fabric in here too…”
Guy: (Do I have such an delighted-looking face when I examine the packages?)
Azuma: “I must convey my gratitude to Mika.” “…Mika? Yes, the care package arrived safely. Thank you.” “It is very helpful that you always casually include items that the other members will enjoy in addition to what we requested.”
Guy: (I never realized I talk to Mika with such a calm tone.)
Tumblr media
Azuma: “…Indeed. I will be in touch again.” So, what did you think? I couldn’t hold the conversation with Mika in Zafran, so listened to how you talked earlier and used that as reference.
Guy: Hmph… I had no idea I had that sort of countenance when I contact Mika when the care packages arrive. Perhaps I look forward to the care packages more than I thought I did.
Tumblr media
Azuma: Fufu. I think so too. You when you’re working at the bar, when you accompany me for a drink at home, and when you make snacks for us… There were so many sides of you that I knew, so I had a hard time settling on one. However, the Guy I played just now is my particular favourite. I also like the Guy who sees items from Zafra and thinks of them, and who is adored by everybody back home.
Guy: Thank you, Yukishiro. I was able to realize once again how important the place and people of Zafra are to me.
Azuma: You’re very welcome.
Guy: By the way, we must take a polaroid picture, correct?
Azuma: Oh, yes. Ah, would you mind if I take it together with this Guy Jr.?
Guy: Yes, not a problem. I am sure Mika will be happy to see it as well.
Azuma: Please go ahead then.
*click*
Tumblr media
Azuma: Fufu. How cute.
Guy: Mika requested that I give Guy Jr. a chance to enjoy Japan to the fullest before returning him to Zafra. This will also serve as a memory for him.
Azuma: Fufu. I see. We’ll have to make even more memories for him, hm?

Dinner Is Served ~ A Markiplier and Jacksepticeye Ego Fanfic
HERE WE HAVE A FIC WRITTEN FROM A GORGEOUS ANONYMOUS PROMPT, SO PREPARE FOR SOME SNACKS AND GIGGLES! ALSO! This fic can technically be seen as a subtle sequel to ‘Definitely Not Hayfever’, so if you want a little context then give that one a read here! OKAY, NOW LET’S DO THIS!
TAGGING: @marvin-lee-magician-blog @marvinleemagician-blog @darkipli-ler and @silvlee-shepherd
‘Oh my GOD look! Everything’s so pretty!’
Dark and Jackie shared a fond look at Silver’s excited squeal, but as they too entered the lavish dining room they had to admit it was beyond gorgeous. The long oak table was dressed with a crimson tablecloth, silver place settings, black lace serviettes, and an ornate centrepiece of tall black candles, blooms of lilac hydrangeas, and painted taxidermy skulls. It was everything gothic and romantic and fancy, and the trio smiled in awe. Then their smiles widened when they spotted the man stood at the head of the table, the man who happened to be their host for the evening. Marvin was beaming at the three of them and dressed up to the nines, and clapped his hands together happily.
‘My dearest guests, welcome! Please do take your seats, the plaques on your plates will tell you where.’
Silver giggled at Marvin’s dramatics and shared a grin with Dark, who exhibited a little eyeroll. Nevertheless they took their seats, with Dark to Marvin’s left and Silver to Dark’s left. Meanwhile, Jackie strode to his boyfriend and pecked his cheek, grinning fondly.
‘This looks beautiful sweetheart.’
Marvin grinned, a little bashful flush appearing on his face as Jackie sat down to his right. But then he cleared his throat, and the showman returned as he looked around at them all.
‘Now then, I’m sure you’re all curious as to why you’ve been invited to this dinner. Well…’
Marvin paused a little for effect… and then his expression softened as he smiled at Dark, who straightened up at the attention.
‘Dark. Ever since I first came into being, you were there. You’ve been there for each and every one of us, and you always make all of us feel loved and special. You’ve made me feel special, and helped me understand who I am and what I’m capable of. For that, I will forever be grateful.’
Dark was shocked into silence, because he never would have predicted Marvin saying such things to him. He felt a rare warmth unfurl in his chest as he smiled at the magician, because as hard and cold his exterior might look, there is nothing he would not do for the happiness of the egos under his roof. Marvin now looked to Silver, tilting his head at him affectionately.
‘Silver… I swear you are the sweetest person on the face of the earth. You are constantly selfless, affectionate, perceptive, and you are one of the best friends I’ve ever had. I don’t know who I’d be if I didn’t have you in my life.’
Silver gasped softly, his eyes immediately welling up with tears as he beamed at Marvin. Silver always tried his best to be everything for his loved ones, so to hear this loveliness from Marvin just made his heart swell beyond measure. Then, Marvin’s heart fluttered with love as he gazed at Jackie.
‘My darling… love of my life. Your every glance, smile and laugh bring me joy. You are more beautiful than the infinite horizon, and you’ve made me realise that I deserve to be loved. I adore you, with all my heart.’
Jackie’s breath got caught in his throat. It didn’t matter how much time passed. The love he felt for Marvin was as fresh and fiery as the day it first sparked inside him, and he melted when Marvin bent down and kissed him. He held Marvin’s hand, watching his boyfriend look around at everyone again.
‘I guess this dinner is a thank you, to all of you, for being the most excellent loved ones a warlock could ever dream of having.’
With his free hand Marvin snapped his fingers, and he giggled when everyone gasped as their favourite dishes materialised in front of them. For Silver there was a hero-sized bowl of beautifully seasoned chicken noodle soup, and for Dark a rare fillet of steak with dauphinoise potatoes and Diane sauce. Then Jackie started giggling when he saw the soft-shell chicken tacos and nacho fries, specifically from Taco bell, in front of him. He grinned and pulled Marvin down for another kiss.
‘You’re a dork, and I adore you too.’
Marvin grinned happily, before taking his own seat and encouraging everyone to dig in. He himself summoned a salmon fillet on a bed of pesto, garlic and chilli tagliatelle to his plate, and thus the dinner commenced. Everyone ate happily, the food of course perfect in every way for everybody’s tastes and appetites. Dark rolled his eyes as Silver slurped eagerly at his soup.
‘Silver that soup will go up your nose if you’re not careful.’
‘I don’t care, it tastes so friggin good!’
Dark sighed at him, and then sent a playful glare when Silver stuck his tongue out at him. Marvin grinned at them, and then smirked when Jackie groaned happily into his third taco.
‘Do you two need a few minutes alone?’
Marvin glanced between Jackie and the taco before sending him a wink, making his hero blush and softly kick him under the table.
‘Shush.’
Of course, shortly after the kick Jackie sent him a little wink in return. The rest of the dinner went with plenty more banter and teasing, until everyone was wiping their mouths as their cleared dishes dematerialised into the air. As everyone slumped a little in their seats, Silver sent Marvin an eager smile.
‘Is there pudding?’
Everyone beamed affectionately at him, and Dark smirked as he gave Silver’s tummy a playful poke.
‘Someone has a hungry tummy today.’
Silver squeaked and batted his hand away with a flustered smile, and Marvin chuckled.
‘There’s plenty of pudding awaiting you, but let’s make sure you process your main first okay?’
Silver nodded with an adorable pout in place, his addiction to sweets as ever warming the hearts of everyone in the room. Now the group took a little time to relax in their seats, enjoy their varying beverages, and just let their main courses go down in a leisurely fashion. This was going well… but after a little time, our three guests started feeling things. Marvin was relaxed in his seat, but the others started becoming somewhat restless. Dark had these odd prickles sparking up the back of his neck, and Jackie felt the same prickles teasing his feet. He thought it was just pins and needles, not thinking much of it. Meanwhile, Silver was getting the same sensations at his tummy, and interestingly close to his outie navel. Marvin glanced between them all, and developed quite an interesting smirk.
‘You all seem a little restless, is there something wrong?’
Marvin’s confused guests squirmed even more as the prickles became more noticeable… and their eyes widened simultaneously as the feelings suddenly became familiar. They were tickly. They all looked at the smirking magician, realising that perhaps this dinner hadn’t been entirely innocent after all. Jackie was flushed, Silver was starting to giddily smile, and Dark was gritting his teeth and getting goose-bumps as he growled.
‘Marvin… what have you done?’
Marvin smirked, raising an innocent eyebrow at him.
‘Whatever do you mean Dark?’
‘Marvin yohou–’
Marvin grinned as he watched Dark succumb to his giggles, scrunching up and letting out a series of spluttery snickers, despite all his best efforts.
‘Whahatever spehell this ihis, Ihi demand yohou cehehease!’
Dark exclaimed, trying to glare at the magician, but it was impossible for him to look the least bit intimidating now. He was rubbing frantically at his neck and ears, trying to quell the streams of fluttery sparks that seemed to have invaded his very skin with unavoidable tickling. Meanwhile Jackie and Silver were also suffering with their own giggle fits, both of them curling up in their chairs as they watched Marvin saunter over to Dark, smiling down at him smugly.
‘There are no spells at work here, just a little special ingredient. Can you guess what it is?’
Dark spluttered incoherently, any reply being hindered by his ticklish chuckles and gasps as he desperately scrunched his neck – alas, it was useless. Marvin chuckled amusedly, but then turned when he heard an adorable squeal.
‘Th-The pohohohollen!’
It was Silver, who was tightly hugging his tummy as he giggled his flustered heart out. Marvin beamed at him, wandering over with a delighted smile on his face at Silver’s memory. Silver blushed as he recalled when he’d helped Marvin transport his tickle-pollen plant through the manor, along with Marvin telling him how he planned to harness the pollen to create tickly surprises for everyone. The hero really should have seen this coming.
‘Well remembered! Tell me Silver, does it tickle more inside your adorable tumtum, or was it worse last time?’
Marvin cooed down at Silver, who blushed even more and kicked his feet as he babbled.
‘Ihihihi dohon’t knohohow!’
‘Aww, poor little thing. I guess you’ll just have to keep giggling and hope for the best.’
Silver whined as Marvin chuckled at him, loving how it was affecting Silver so perfectly. Then though the magician’s heart jumped when he heard the utterly adorable cries of his boyfriend.
‘Thihihihis ihihis ehehevil!’
Marvin beamed, and took a few moments just to gaze at Jackie… and fall in love with him all over again. Jackie was frantically trying to rub his feet against the carpeted floor to banish the tickly sensations, but it was all for nought.
‘Evil? I thought you liked it when I came up with new tickly surprises?’
Marvin crooned and winked, bringing a handsome redness to Jackie’s face as he retorted.
‘Y-Yohohou shuhuhut ihit!’
‘Or what? You’ll kick your ticklish feet at me?’
Marvin teased back with a raised eyebrow, before he leant over him and cupped his jaw intimately. He trailed his thumb over one of Jackie’s heated cheeks, softening his voice to a playful purr.
‘I must say, I had a lot of fun tailoring each pollen concoction to you all. You, my love, should be getting lovely tingles up and down your arches… and they’ll be at your toes too before long.’
He pecked Jackie’s cheek chastely, before sauntering back around the table towards Dark. The suited ego’s hands were practically clamped to his neck now, but his deep, jumpy fits of giggles were unstoppable. Marvin’s eyes glimmered as he took in how much of a giggly mess he was, for it was oh so satisfying to see.
‘Now with you, I’m sure you’ve felt all that lovely fluttering up and down your neck. Don’t worry though, those hidden little nerves behind your ears will get their fair share of attention too.’
‘Yohohohou bahahahastahard!’
Dark exclaimed, his eyes widening not just at Marvin’s knowledge, but at the fact that he announced it for the whole damn room to hear! Marvin giggled, and then moved over to Silver who at this point was curled up adorably on the floor, squeaking and yipping from his tickly treatment.
‘And for you my sweet Silver… I think all those tummy tickles are creeping towards your giggle button right about now, aren’t they?’
Silver giggled even harder because yes, that was precisely what was happening to him. The wriggling hero pouted endearingly up at Marvin, babbling sweetly.
‘P-Plehehease, behehehe nihihihice! Mahahake ihit stahahap!’
‘Ohh I’m sorry, but no can do. You’ll just have to wait for your special spells to run their course.’
Marvin winked, and with the beautiful orchestra of pleading, threats, and wild mirth in his ears, got himself comfortable in his seat. He sneered, picked up his glass, and raised it to his dear guests.
‘Cheers.’
Marvin observed them all happily as the trio each descended into their own ticklish hells. Dark had his head pressed against the dinner table as his deep laughter started turning wheezy. The swirling, feather-like tickling behind his ears was driving him crazy as he spluttered streams of swear words under his breath. Meanwhile Jackie was snorting and yelping at the pinchy tickles he could feel under and in-between his toes; he had his fingers tangled in his messy hair as his adorable, dashing grin took over his face. Then there was Silver. The hero was a mess of near-incoherent squeals and babbles as teasing scratches invaded his outie… and all he could do was beg.
‘PLEHEHEASE! NAHAT THEHERE MAHAHARVYYY!’
Of course, at every little outburst from his guests Marvin would take the opportunity to tease them. Every single time.
‘Not your adorable belly button? But Silver, everyone knows that’s your favourite tickle spot! What kind of friend would I be if I neglected it, hm?’
Silver wailed adorably, arching his back from the newest swarm of tickling as Dark yelled out with an attempt at a glare in Marvin’s direction.
‘YOHOHOU’LL PAHAY FOR THIHIS!’
Marvin laughed warmly, resting his chin on his hand happily as he mused.
‘Ohh we’re doing more threats now? The tickles must be getting you good, huh Dark? Right at those hidden nooks behind your earlobes if I’m right.’
‘SHUHUT UHUHUP!’
Dark’s face bloomed with crimson, his head resolutely bumping the dinner table as Marvin giggled smugly.
‘Knew it.’
Then, a familiar cackle drew Marvin’s attention, and he sighed fondly at the sight of his boyfriend. In his humble opinion, Jackie’s ticklish hysteria was one of the most beautiful things in the entire world.
‘BAHAHABY PLEHEHEASE! NOHOHO MOHOHORE!’
Jackie, like Silver, had found himself curled up on the ground amidst his tickle torment. He was kicking wildly as Marvin came over and crouched by him, deciding to stroke through the hero’s tousled hair as he whispered flirtatiously.
‘God honey, you’re so handsome when you beg like that.’
Jackie was torn between melting into Marvin’s affection, or just biting at his hand like a feral cat – all he could really do though was just continue to laugh, his mirth bouncing about adorably alongside Silver’s hiccups and Dark’s snorts.
‘DOHOHON’T TEHEHEHEASE!!’
He cried out, making Marvin laugh fondly. Then the hero let out a soft squeak when Marvin planted a warm kiss on his forehead.
‘Oh come now, can you really expect me not to tease the man that I love?’
Jackie’s face looked like it was about to combust with redness as Marvin beamed at him, but then they both laughed when a high-pitched voice (belonging to Silver) called out.
‘GEHET A ROHOOM!’
Marvin rolled his eyes fondly, and then noticed how the collective mirth in the room was now starting to simmer down. The effects of his special ingredient were wearing off. He happily sighed, and sat with Jackie as the magical pollen left their systems gradually and carefully, allowing them to come down from the tickling in a way that was safe and soothing. Now the room was filled with quiet pants and giggles, and Marvin stroked Jackie’s cheek as he whispered lovingly.
‘You okay sweetie?’
Jackie nodded, the look in his eyes dreamy as Marvin gently kissed him. Then the magician grinned and called out playfully across the room.
‘You two alive over there?’
‘Barely.’
Dark retorted dryly, whilst Silver merely let out an adorable whine from the floor. Marvin and Jackie giggled as they stood up together, whilst Dark smiled fondly and helped Silver carefully get to his feet. They all stood together, and Dark sent Marvin a playful glare.
‘That was unnecessarily evil… I’m impressed.’
Marvin grinned with pride, and then giggled when Jackie hugged him sneakily from behind and purred.
‘I thought I’d gotten you out of your villainous tendencies?’
‘I guess you’ll have to try harder.’
Jackie rolled his eyes with a fond sigh, kissing the back of Marvin’s neck to make him titter. Then the magician snorted when Silver pouted at him pointedly.
‘That was mean. If my pudding isn’t the same size as me then I’m leaving.’
Everyone laughed, since Silver couldn’t help but let out his adorable smile.
‘There’s blankets and entirely pollen-free puddings in the movie room. Figured people might wanna snuggle.’
Marvin replied, and watched happily as Silver gasped and started yanking Dark to said room by his jacket sleeve.
‘YAY! Love you Marvy!’
Marvin giggled and prepared to follow, but Jackie turned him around. Marvin’s breath got caught in his throat as Jackie coaxed him close for a moment, before he kissed him deeply, holding the back of his neck in that special way that made Marvin melt. When they parted for air, Jackie kept his lips ghosting over Marvin’s as he whispered.
‘You really are magnificent, you know that?’
Marvin beamed and blushed brightly, and kissed Jackie softly before he replied with his own whisper.
‘And as ever, you are my wondrous hero.’
Jackie grinned, and then arm in arm the couple joined their dear friends, ate their bodyweight in wonderfully luxurious desserts, and binge-watched as many heart-warming cartoon films that they could get their hands on. Needless to say, this was a dinner that was fulfilling in many more ways than one.
WOOOO HOPE YOU GUYS LIKED THIS FIC LEMME KNOW IF YA DIIIID, WOOO LUV YOUS!!

Welcome
This blog serves as a place to share and catalogue my favorite 'foods' (waifus and F/Os mainly). My tastes are pretty basic, but I do posses a bias for some very specific ones. As I'm no doubt sure my 'chef' will bombard and fill it with the '#camelots food' signal.
Consume responsibly, or else it'll lead to rotting of the brain. Selection may update with time.
What kinds of food will you find here? Well...
Fate Grand Order: Jeanne d' Arc (Alter) and Ishtar These two are something else. They encapsulate my taste/type pretty well. Ishtar being entertaining and her tsun moments are surprisingly adorable, and Jalter being incredibly interesting narratively with her character growth and development, combined with her tough exterior, yet soft interior.
There isn't much else to say about these two. Other than that these are my favorite type of tsunderes, and also the trope being done correctly and not overblown.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But there's also one more... Tamamo vitch Koyanskaya Is she evil? Yes. Is she sadistic? Also yes. Is she a bitch? Yes again. Does she have any redeeming qualities? None whatsoever. Would this even be a healthy or even reasonably smart decision? Not at all. But I hate that I can't hate her, and it still has me confused. But I also don't dilute myself with any of that 'I can fix her' crap. I know what I'm getting into, and I know what I want. Fortunately, we're both on the same page in that regard. This is all just business to her anyways so...
Tumblr media
Azur Lane: Friedrich, Bismarck, and Golden Hind What else really needs to be said? Just look at those three. Those three would definitely be good company in whatever scenario. Friedrich and Golden Hind melt my guard, because when it comes to kryptonite, none is stronger to me than physical and intimate affection. And those two ooze (literally in Hind's case) physical and intimate. Bismarck meanwhile has a special kind of charm I always appreciate. Strong and independent, but still willing to learn and adapt, even to others. And even loving under the right circumstances, eager to learn alongside her chosen.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Honkai Star Rail: Kafka The mystery, the allure, her demeanor, her voice. The fact you can't always tell what's going on in her head. She pushes all the buttons in all the right ways. She always keeps you on your toes, and I'm always up to let my luck decide. Hey, I never said I was a smart guy. How is it possible that being by her side seems like the safest, yet also most perilous place in the universe? Red may not be my favorite color, but it is when Kafka's around.
Tumblr media
Genshin Impact: Mona Megistus What's there to say that hasn't already been said? Girl's charismatic and charming as all hell. The fact she's so dedicated and determined in her work, and how she refuses to profit off of it despite the fact she's loaded as it is also shows her pride and dignity. Yet she never oversteps her boundaries.
Tumblr media
Hypnosis Mic: Ichijiku Kadenokoji I don't even know where to begin with her. Like...how do I explain? Well first off how she's written, and the little drops we get to why and how she is the way she is. I'm always up for a 'loyal second in command who slowly starts to question the morality of what their doing'. I'll be honest, she at first seemed like one of those 'bad bitch' kinda deals. Stomp me to the curb for ever making that mistake please. Now I know better. Plus a certain someone put it in my head that she'd be the 'they asked for no pickles!' kinda girlfriend/wife.
Tumblr media
Another is one who technically doesn't exist (at least not to the broader public eye). In fact, she's a character belonging to a dear friend @thelakeofnimue. And that's: Evelin I've made a whole essay about why I love this character in the past privately among our circle. To put it short, Evelin is a bundle of surprises who seems like one thing one moment, yet can surprise you with something else the next. But without it being jarring or out of nowhere. You can generally get what she's about, but her inner workings always keep you guessing. Typically a stoic cat lover who loves solitude, she seems like an ice queen to most who meet her, and they'd be right. Others would say she's trigger happy with her sword...and they'd also be right. Few who get to know her deeper would say she's surprisingly gentle and caring, at the very least open to any who give her a chance, and she'll offer the same courtesy to you...and they'd also be right.
The only wrong interpretation is that she's any one given thing. She's in fact many things. Surprisingly complex when you give her a chance. And to me, she's mastered the 'stoic charm' type of character, where all she must do is simply talk and I'm on my knees. Stick around long enough, and you too may be lost in her deep violet eyes.

Food, A Window to Cultural Diversity and a Unifying Thread

Food goes beyond mere sustenance; it acts as a window to diverse cultures and serves as a unifying thread in my life, connecting people through shared experiences and tastes.
As a Somali girl, I've grown up immersed in the flavorful traditions of Somali cuisine. One particular delight, "Malawax" (pronounced Ma-low-ah), holds a special spot in my heart. It's a thin, crepe-like treat traditionally enjoyed with sugar. However, thanks to my Western upbringing, I've developed a unique twist—I adore slathering Nutella generously over it. This culinary fusion embodies the beautiful mix of my Somali heritage and Western influences.
One of my most cherished childhood memories revolves around food, specifically Malawax. I can vividly recall being seven years old, seated at the kitchen table, joyfully devouring one Malawax after another. My mom, the talented chef behind these mouthwatering creations, couldn't help but laugh each time I requested another. I found myself devouring ten in a row. Her laughter still resonates in my memory, turning each bite of Malawax into a taste of nostalgia and love.
However, until a couple of years ago, I hadn't stumbled upon a cuisine that truly resonated with me beyond Somali dishes. That all changed two years ago during a memorable outing with my uncle when I ventured into the world of Chinese cuisine for the very first time. As I pored over the menu at a Chinese restaurant, I felt a sense of adventure and curiosity. The air was filled with delicious flavours and fragrances.
One dish that captured my heart that evening was the aromatic and flavorful fried rice. The combination of fluffy rice, an array of fresh vegetables, and savoury seasonings left an enduring impression on my palate. From that moment onwards, Chinese food became my top choice when dining out. The experience opened doors to exploring various cuisines and broadening my culinary horizons.
For me, food represents a journey that transcends geographical boundaries, connecting me with diverse cultures. It serves as a reminder of the warmth of home and the thrill of trying something new. Whether it's indulging in Malawaax with Nutella or relishing the intricate flavours of Chinese fried rice, my love for diverse cuisines continues to expand, reflecting the multicultural tapestry of my life.

Crafting Style with Values: My Fashion Journey
Tumblr media

Fashion has always been more than just clothing for me; it's a canvas for self-expression and a way to connect with my roots and values. As a young girl, my fascination with fashion started early. I'd wake up with excitement, eagerly planning my outfit for school, and I'd often lose myself in shows like "Bratz", where the mantra was "a passion for fashion". These early influences laid the foundation for my enduring love of style.
One of the most significant influences on my fashion sense has been my mother. She had a knack for dressing me up and imparting invaluable lessons in me like "black goes with everything" and how to pair neutrals with specific colors. Her guidance not only shaped my understanding of fashion but also instilled in me the importance of looking and feeling confident in what I wear.
However, fashion isn't just about aesthetics for me; it's also a reflection of my cultural and religious values. As a Muslim, my hijab is a prominent part of my identity, signalling to the world my faith and commitment. Dressing modestly is not just a personal choice but a way of aligning my outward appearance with my inner beliefs. I take pride in the creative challenge of crafting outfits that are both stylish and modest. A fine line, but one I walk proudly.
Today, when I curate my fashion choices, I draw inspiration from my younger self. I have always been unapologetically me in my style preferences. One vivid memory from my youth involves my love for flared jeans, a stark contrast to the prevailing trend of skinny jeans at the time. I cherished my pair of flared jeans and wore them relentlessly. Just recently, I stumbled upon an almost identical pair at the mall and couldn't resist making it mine. It felt like a nostalgic reunion, a reminder that fashion isn't just about following trends but about embracing what makes you feel truly yourself.
In essence, fashion has evolved from a childhood fascination into a lifelong passion deeply rooted in my culture, values, and the unshakable belief that clothing is, to me, one of the most powerful forms of self-expression.
Architectural Diversity in Toronto:
Tumblr media
Richview. (n.d.). Toronto Public Library. https://www.torontopubliclibrary.ca/richview/
Toronto's architectural landscape is a captivating tapestry that seamlessly weaves together a rich history and contemporary innovation. The city boasts an eclectic mix of architectural styles, spanning from the elegant Georgian structures of the 19th century to the avant-garde postmodern designs of the 21st century(6). This architectural diversity is not limited to grand edifices or towering skyscrapers; it extends to some of the most cherished community spaces, including libraries.
Libraries: Architectural Gems in Our Community:
In our community, libraries are not just repositories of knowledge; they are architectural gems that encapsulate the city's spirit of inclusivity and cultural appreciation. Two libraries, in particular, hold a special place in my heart – Humberwood's intimate library and Richview's grand multi-floor beauty.
Humberwood Library's architectural charm lies in its cozy intimacy. It welcomes visitors with an unassuming yet inviting facade that conceals the treasure trove of books and stories within. The warm and intimate atmosphere of this library makes it an ideal spot for quiet contemplation and focused reading. Its architectural design effortlessly blends functionality with comfort, creating a haven for book lovers of all ages.
In stark contrast, Richview Library stands as a testament to Toronto's modern architectural prowess. This multi-floor marvel is not just a library; it's an architectural adventure waiting to be explored. Its striking exterior design, characterized by clean lines and contemporary aesthetics, draws the eye and beckons visitors to step inside.
My fondest childhood memories are intertwined with these libraries. Every week, my mother and I embarked on a literary journey, alternating between Humberwood's intimate space and Richview's sprawling floors. Each visit was an architectural exploration, a chance to discover new sections, hidden crevices, and the unique character of each library.
As I wander through the shelves, I can’t help but appreciate how these libraries reflect the essence of our community. Humberwood Library's modest yet inviting design mirrored the close-knit nature of our neighborhood, while Richview Library's symbolized the city's commitment to providing its residents with exceptional spaces for learning and discovery.
In conclusion, Toronto's architectural diversity extends beyond its skyline; it permeates the very heart of our community, shaping spaces like libraries into places of architectural and cultural significance. These libraries not only house knowledge but also serve as a testament to our city's commitment to blending the old with the new, creating architectural marvels that enrich our lives and connect us to our surroundings.
Cultivating Wisdom: My Lifelong Journey Through Books

My journey with reading began long before I could even hold a book. My earliest memory of reading is the comforting sound of my mom's voice as she read bedtime stories to me when I was about four. Those moments of shared stories and imagination still warm my heart. Unconsciously, this ritual instilled in me a habit that persists to this day—reading before bed. It's a cherished part of my daily routine, a quiet escape into the realms of literature that I look forward to.
But the roots of my love for reading go even deeper. My mom used to read to me while I was still in her womb, and whether it's nature or nurture, it's clear that I was destined to be an avid reader. Books have been my constant companions, opening doors to countless adventures, knowledge, and self-discovery.
As a voracious reader, I find myself finishing at least a book a week, eagerly moving on to the next. Books, in all their forms, have transformed my life in profound ways. They've taught me that knowledge is indeed power, and through the written word, we gain the ability to explore new worlds, perspectives, and possibilities.
One recent book that left an indelible mark on me is "Winning: The Unforgiving Race to Greatness" by Tim Grover. This powerful read not only provided a fresh perspective on success but also served as a catalyst for change in my life. It reinforced the idea that anyone can achieve greatness with the right mindset and relentless dedication.
Reading isn't just about self-improvement; it's a journey that makes us more cultured and tolerant individuals. Take, for instance, a book I encountered at the age of fifteen, "Darius the Great Is Not Okay." Through this novel, I delved into the world of Zoroastrianism, a religion I previously knew nothing about. A few months later, I found myself explaining the intricacies of this faith to my family, thanks to the knowledge I had gained from that book.
While I appreciate the convenience of digital books, my heart has an unwavering preference for physical copies, especially hardback covers. There's something beautiful about the weight of a book in my hands, the texture of the pages, and even the distinct aroma of its pages. It's an experience that digital formats simply can't replicate.
In essence, my love for reading has been a constant presence throughout my life nurtured by family, fueled by curiosity, and enriched by the written word. It's a journey that continues to shape my perspective, inspire my aspirations, and provide solace in both the familiar and the unknown. Reading is not just a hobby; it's a lifeline to the world's wisdom and wonders.

Celebrating the Joy of Leisure: My Evening of Entertainment
After a day filled with rigorous studying and completing assignments, I firmly believe in the importance of setting aside an hour or two in the evening for pure relaxation. This cherished time offers me the opportunity to unwind and recharge, preparing myself for the challenges of the next day. For me, entertainment serves as the ideal escape from the demands of daily life, and it's a source of immense joy and solace.
Exploring YouTube and Revisiting Favorites
One of my favourite pastimes during these moments of relaxation is delving into my YouTube "Watch Later" list. This ever-growing collection houses an array of videos, from educational content to entertainment, and everything in between. It's like having a treasure trove of digital adventures at my fingertips, waiting to be explored. Whether it's learning a new recipe, diving into a fascinating documentary, or simply enjoying some light-hearted comedy sketches, YouTube offers a diverse range of content to suit every mood.
A Beloved Cinematic Gem: "The Devil Wears Prada"
When it comes to movies, there's one that has a special place in my heart - "The Devil Wears Prada." This film combines two elements that never fail to captivate me: fashion and unyielding work ethic. The character of Andy Sachs, portrayed brilliantly by Anne Hathaway, resonates with me on a personal level. Her journey from a novice in the fashion world to a confident professional is not only inspiring but a testament to the idea that hard work and determination can lead to remarkable transformations. I find myself returning to this cinematic gem time and time again, drawn by its compelling narrative and the underlying message that success often demands sacrifices and personal growth.
A Moment of Relief and Anticipation
Entertainment isn't just a diversion for me; it's a lifeline. It provides a sense of relief, a pause button in the relentless march of time, allowing me to momentarily escape into different worlds and experiences. Knowing that I have this oasis of entertainment to look forward to at the end of a taxing day keeps me motivated and focused. It's a reminder that life isn't just about responsibilities and commitments; it's also about finding joy in the small pleasures.
Sketching Amidst the Entertainment
At times, when my mind is particularly active and my creative spirit is awake, I find solace in sketching while indulging in my chosen form of entertainment. This unique combination allows me to engage both my visual and auditory senses simultaneously. It's as if the act of sketching becomes a silent conversation with the content I'm consuming, a creative dialogue that adds another layer of depth to my leisure time.
Furthermore, entertainment serves as my daily refuge, offering a precious respite from the demands of my academic pursuits. From YouTube explorations to revisiting my beloved movie, "The Devil Wears Prada," these moments of relaxation provide not only relief but also a source of inspiration and anticipation. They remind me that life's journey is enriched by the simple pleasures we find along the way and that even in the busiest of days, there's always time for a bit of entertainment and self-care.

In conclusion, Toronto's rich cultural tapestry, my family's profound influence, and my personal experiences have all played significant roles in shaping my culinary preferences, fashion choices, architectural appreciation, leisure activities, and, most notably, my lifelong love of reading. These elements have contributed to the unique blend that defines who I am today. As I continue to explore and embrace the world's diverse cultures, I look forward to the new influences and experiences that will undoubtedly enrich the tapestry of who I am.
Thank you so much for reading through my blog!! I hope you enjoy the next one <3

Hello everyone!  As promised in my last post I made prior to the premiere of the 1st episode of the new Futurama revival, I have decided to share some of my favorite screenshots I took since watching it myself~  That said, I have seen some of these scenes already shared but I still wanted to post all of what I had taken in one place for myself just for fun, so if you see something in this post that you’ve already seen 1000 times by this point feel free to ignore lol
Tbh I’ve never tried live blogging anything before, let alone tried to edit and share screenshots I didn’t plan on keeping for myself, so I hope these turned out okay!  I did my best to clean them up and crop to what I wanted, so if they don’t show up well I apologize in advance ^^;
Otherwise, if you’re interested in reading past this point, I hope you enjoy what I have to share as well as what little commentary I have to accompany my pictures :3
Okay, so just to get this out of the way first and foremost, while I have seen mixed reviews in regards to the first episode, imo I honestly thought it was pretty good!  A lot of the jokes definitely landed and even had me laughing out loud, and with the easter eggs scattered throughout combined with seeing all of these characters once again, I couldn’t stop smiling at several points just because I was so happy lol
That said, while I wouldn’t say this is up there as one of my fav episodes of all time in the series overall, I say it definitely did what it set out to accomplish as far as bringing the series back after 10 years off the air in terms of animation, voice acting, etc.  So to anyone that felt as if The Impossible Stream was a let down, I would recommend giving it a few episodes into the new season before coming to a solid conclusion on whether the revival lives up to the hype or not/forming a firm opinion on the new season as a whole.  Again, as far as plots are concerned, this episode isn’t anywhere in my top 10 list, but at the same time, it was pretty good and served as a nice welcome back to long time fans since 2013 when Meanwhile aired, so I want to believe things will only get better from here~
Any who, with all of that out of the way, on to the screenshots:
1. First, Idk if this has been pointed out already, but since I haven’t seen anyone else post this, I thought I’d do it myself~  I honestly thought this was pretty cute lol, and considering that the new season is on a streaming service as opposed to tv (meaning that they most likely can have both the OP and ED be as long as they want without it being cut off by ad time), I hope they include new stuff like this in the OP in addition to the cartoons being displayed on the jumbo tv Leela always crashes into again :)
Tumblr media
2. This scene right here was too cute for me~  I love these two so much, and I’m so happy to see them again :3  They just want each other to be happy, and it’s precious :3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also Fry looks so adorable here (´◡`)  Look at him!
3. I know this scene speaks for itself, but still enjoy this quote none the less :3
Tumblr media
4. If I had a nickle for every time one of my special interests was cancelled because of corporate incompetence/bad judgement, I’d have at least 2 but it’s weird it happened twice - let alone that it happened to two shows that technically aired on the same block (I.E. adult swim, Metalocalypse I’m looking at you :( ).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And yes, I know this is prob a jab at streaming services like Netflix but I think my point still stands, you know?  I wish things were different but...
5. Hey, at least we’re getting Futurama AND Metalocalypse back this year, right? I guess that’s a small victory, at least for me?  Idk, the fact both these series ended back in 2013 just to be revived in the ye old year of 2023 seems like fate to me tbh, so if the latter’s direct-to-dvd film does well, here’s hoping it can get picked up on Hulu alongside Futurama so I can get back into my high school era~  In the meantime, have this which reminded me of the revival campaigns I have seen over the years dedicated to bringing these 2 wonderful shows back:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Too bad Leela’s not a Dethklok fan :(
6.  I figured we’d see Calculon come back sooner or later, but I sure as hell wasn’t expecting him to return like this in the first episode no less XD That said, I’m not a huge fan of either him or the Robot Devil, but this scene was gold~
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And last but not least:
Tumblr media
Once I learn how to make good quality GIFS, this is the first scene I’m uploading as a GIF 。^‿^。
7. Oh!  Speaking of Calculon, over these past 15+ years of my life, I had always figured he was either Bi or Pan, so alongside my ship with him and Bender potentially being given more fuel, it was nice to see the writers had the same idea :3 In this house we stan a Bi and/or Pan Calculon~
Tumblr media
And let’s not forget about this:
Tumblr media
Idk man, I think I might reconsider my Calculon dislike if this continues O////O Never thought I’d say that after reaching my 20s but ye, this was pretty good
Also, this scene was another gem in my opinion:
Tumblr media
Technically, yes
Tumblr media
Bender x Fry x Leela parallels aside, it’s always nice to see this as a multi shipper~  Keep in mind, as well, that this was originally also written BY BENDER HIMSELF, so ye, a lot to talk about another day
8. I almost choked on my drink watching this lol Looks like the old man yaoi group of Farnsworth, Hermes, and Zoidberg has trouble in paradise (this is a JOKE, pls don’t take this seriously!)
Tumblr media
His face is priceless XD
9. Finally, I know this last scene was prob meant to be a tongue-in-cheek joke about both reboots and the writers, but at the same time all I could think of was that one quote from Fry in When Aliens Attack when Leela asked him about his script writing?  Idk if it was mean to be a call back to this scene too, but was I the only one reminded of this during the end?  Also, Bender sure is one to call the kettle black XD
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Compare these exchanges and see what I mean:
Tumblr media
And that’s about it tbh, so if you’ve read this far, thank you so much!  As thanks, here’s some bonus screenshots of Leela and Fry being cute, and I can’t wait to post again about next week’s episode :3  Have a great day and good night~

Summertime Garden Entertaining Using Roses and Citrus
Midsummer weather is the perfect time to gather in the garden. When entertaining outside, I love to design around the season’s colors. August is the perfect time to use vibrant colors from roses growing in the garden and add a little surprise to my table.
I had this gorgeous array of pink, yellow, and white roses that I thought would make an enchanting spray along the center of my table. Laying flowers in the middle of a table looks fantastic if you group them in bundles, leaving very little negative space between them. As with a garden design, your flowers do not have to be perfect on your table. I simply placed a few bundles here and there along the center of my table and filled the negative space with citrus and other flowers.
Since living in California, I have become much more aware of all the citrus in this region. Did you know that vineyards will at times grow lemon and lime trees? Weather is a huge factor in growing grapes; the grape is affected by the climate changing faster. Using trees will cool down and shade and increase the moisture in the soil.
Climate change has raised average temperatures, which speeds up the ripening of grapes. This leads to lower acidity and increased sugars in the fruit, yielding higher alcohol levels in wine and altering other compounds in grapes that affect aroma and flavor.
"The growing of woody perennials like trees in combination with annual crops and fruits, in a system that increases cooling and moisture levels while sequestering atmospheric carbon — from wine grapes to grains and fruits. "  -- Earth Island Journal "“Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul.” "  -- – Luther Burbank
These English roses are just so beautiful to look at. Why not make them the centerpiece of a garden party table design?
Creating a table design using white on white can be elegant. You don’t need to put a ton of color on your table if you use contrasting dishes that have different textures and patterns.
Layering your dishes on top of one another and adding a napkin in between one of the layers is a great way to bring color to your tablescape. Take one of the colors from your flowers and use that color ON your napkin. It will bring a more cohesive look and feel TO your tablescape.
These imported French champagne glasses are absolutely adorable. I first saw them when going to lunch at a restaurant in Santa Barbara, CA. I ordered a Prosecco, and they served it in this glass. I had to have them. They gave a little bee on the side of the glass, which I love! The presentation was adorable and fun to drink out of. I looked high and low for them the next day and finally found them. I ordered six of them and plan to add them to my inventory in my boutique as soon as they are available again. Hopefully soon!
Before serving, I place the glasses in the freezer to get them super cold. Once they were filled with a sparkling Prosecco, they became frosty on the surface. Perfect for a gathering in the garden on a warm summer day.

Happy entertaining my friends!

New Mascot
heyoo! wasn’t a request but this idea came to me awhile ago so I decided to write it and post it on the blog! hope you enjoy :) - venus
warnings: none
f!reader, platonic relationship with team
Tumblr media
ok look, Shiratorizawa might be a power house school to others. but to you...
they were complete dorks.
and you mean this in the nicest way possible!
you love managing the team, really you do. ever since your first year you’ve been making memories with these boys. you wouldn’t give it up for anything.
and today was another one of those very memorable days....
“Tendou-kun why are you trying to hit cross shots when your supposed to be working on blocking?” you questioned.
he looked at you with a smug smile on his face
you were confused to say the least.
“oh well i just wanted to improve on my spikes y/n-chan~” he replied in a sing song voice
“okay whatever you say-“ you started but got cut off by a loud banging sound
startled, you searched around the gym too see where the sound came from.
it came from the door, where an out of breath Goshiki stood.
“Goshiki what’s wrong? is everything ok? were you chased?” you asked in a concerned tone.
“i’m.....fine......y/n-senpai.....” he sighed and straightened up
at this point the rest of the team gathered around Goshiki to see what all the commotion was about.
“well you see....i found this...” he started, and held up a little baby duckling.
the team just stood there like 🧍‍♂️ is dis bitch serious
but you, you were overjoyed.
finally, someone to share your pain with
even if it was just a little duckling
a cute little ducking at that.
“OH MY GOD ITS SO ADORABLE!!” you squealed, snatching the duck out of Goshikis hands and walking away from the group.
“aren’t you just the cutest little thing” you cooed to the duckling while patting its soft yellow fur.
the team was still 🧍‍♂️
while you said 😚🥰
anywho
you stood there petting it and nudging your nose with its beak
“where did you find him Goshiki-kun?” you asked, looking back over to the group.
“h-he got separated from his family, so i took him back here.” he said and you smiled
“your so thoughtful!! thank you bringing him here!” you exclaimed, pulling the first year into a hug.
when you pulled back you swore you saw his face coated in a deep red and smoke steaming from his ears
but you chose to ignore it
“well he needs a name dontcha think?” Tendou asked, walking up to you and petting the ducks fur.
“your right!! c’mon guys let’s all think of names!” you jumped in excitement.
they were all deeply concerned for your mental health and why you were so excited about naming a random duck.
but seeing you so happy, it was adorable to them,
so they played along.
“how about... Charles?” Semi spoke up first, which came as a shock to you.
“or...Waddles?” Kawanishi added
“Cooper?” Shirabu suggested
“oh oh i know! franklin!” Goshiki said
you thought for a second at all the good names they were giving you...but they just didn’t fit.
“what about Ace?” Ushijima spoke up.
everyone turned to him
you thought more....
it was perfect.
“Wakatoshi you beautiful genius!” you yelled out to him and walked over to him, handing him the duckling
“i could’ve come up with that myself...” Goshiki mumbled, crossing his arms in jealousy.
“it’s only fitting if you do the honors of officially naming him, since you did come up with the name.” you explained
he looked at you with a blank expression, then to the duck
a couple seconds passed and then
he smiled.
your face literally went 🥺
“i welcome ace to the Shiratorizawa official team.” he said then held the duck up a little bit
it was like it was taken right out of the lion king
it was silent until you started squealing again, jumping up and down and clapping
“amazing! wonderful!” you exclaimed as everyone started laughing.
but the mood soon died down after you heard a-
“HEY! WHATS GOING ON IN HERE?!”
you jumped in surprise and turned around to see who it was
it was coach Washijou.
you definitely heard Goshiki whimper this time.
“C-coach! we were just...uhh..” Tendou started
“It’s my fault coach.” you spoke up and everyone turned to look at you.
“i got the boys out of focus, i found this duckling and told them we should all come up with names for it....” you sighed. hoping he wouldn’t see through your lie.
“i’m sorry, i should’ve saved it for after practice...” you continued and slightly bowed.
it was silent for a couple minutes.
you could feel tears pricking at the corners of your eyes, you were gonna be so embarrassed if he started yelling at you.
all you heard was a sigh then footsteps.
you looked up and saw coach Washijou holding out his hands, asking for the duckling.
you looked down at Ace in sadness, he wasn’t supposed to leave so soon.
but, you weren’t one to go against coach, so you gave ace to him.
he took ace and walked outside, leaving the team alone for awhile.
you felt like crying for some reason, you didn’t even get a proper send off for him.
“we’re so sorry y/n-san, we should’ve stepped in....” Semi started putting a hand on your shoulder.
you wiped the tears at the edge of your eyes and sniffled.
you straightened up and turned around to look back at the team.
“no its my fault, we should...probably get back to practice...” you sighed and walked away from them, back to the bench you were sitting on before.
about 20 minutes passed and coach Washijou came back, to your dismay Ace was nowhere to be found.
practice was soon over and the boys were cleaning up the gym while you were packing up your stuff
“l/n.” you heard coach Washijou say which made you turn around to look at him.
you sighed and looked down at your shoes
“coach i’m so sor-“
“return it to its proper place.”
“huh?”
you were confused as to what he meant until he revealed Ace in his hands.
“ACE?!?” you shouted and carefully picked up the duckling, twirling around with him.
the rest of the team looked over and saw what was going on.
“just make sure you don’t slack off again, or i’ll make you do extra work and them 100 more jump serves then usual.” he said in a dark tone, and walked out of the gym
you quickly shook off his words, turning back to the boys and gave them a big toothy smile
“now we can finally give him a proper goodbye!” Goshiki exclaimed coming up to you, the rest of the team following behind
“don’t make it seem like he’s dying Goshiki-kun.” Shirabu said rolling his eyes.
“ohh! i have perfect place we can put him back into the wild!” Tendou spoke up, to which the team agreed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“goodbye ace! stay safe lil guy!” you said as you and the boys watched Ace waddle away and into the pond.
“ah what a day!” you sighed while stretching your arms above your head.
“yeah it’s getting late, we should all probably head home....” Reon started and everyone agreed
after everyone went their separate ways, it was just you and Tendou left, since you both lived close to each other.
“hey...” he started
“hey..?” you replied
“why don’t we get a duck of our own?” he suggested with a grin.
“hmmm i dunno Satori, seems like a biggg responsibility for someone as irresponsible as you...” you said to him in a playful tone.
“well then we can be irresponsible together~” he replied in a singsong voice, to which you playfully rolled your eyes
you both kept walking for a couple more minutes until you spoke up again.
“let’s name it ace junior.”
Another tequila shot goes down your throat, ripping it off as you almost smash the small glass on the table. Tossing your head back as you rest your back against the sofa, sitting on the floor, you take a look around you. The gloomy has taken over your house as the night has fallen a couple of hours ago. It's the fourth night you are trying to forget about Bishop and whatever you two had. But you can't dismiss from your mind his caresses —his fingers drawing patterns on your back, his lips touring your neck with delicate kisses as if he was afraid of breaking your skin, his mustache tickling your inner thighs, his raspy voice articulating your name in moans. It's the fourth night miserably failing, remembering the last time you spent together, the way he was holding his back pretending he wasn't sad because you were leaving him.
“Obispo, it's over. Don't make a big deal. We're just friends who occasionally fucks”. You scoffed somewhat annoyed because of him and his interrogation, but how could you tell him you were falling in love with him?
“I ain't making any deal, (Y/N). I just want to know what made you change your mind and keep a wide berth”.
“I'm seeing someone else”.
"Don't you dare to lie to me”. He growled, taking a step closer towards you with the intention of stopping you from picking up and packing the less stuff you had in his house.
“Think what you want”. You replied, rolling your eyes.
The first tear flows in the left corner of your mouth not appreciably at first, but then, some more until finding yourself crying. You miss him so much. You miss watching him sleep peacefully in the small hours, drifting slightly when you caress his cheek using your fingertips. Flexing your knees to your chest, you wrap your arms around trying to contain the loud sobs, hiding your face between them. How have you been so stupid to fall for him like that? The two of you made it clear from the very first moment. Friends with benefits. But after a couple of weeks, you started to notice that he used to push away any other woman that it wasn't you, he didn't spend much time in the clubhouse preferring to do it in your house —cuddling, watching movies, playing poker; kissing every single inch of flesh covering your anatomy.
Reality hit you the moment he murmured something like you're a miracle, thinking you were calmly sleeping between his strong arms and your back stuck to his chest, no distance among your bodies. You knew it was a thing produced by the alcohol running through your veins and it wasn't fair for you to fantasize about the idea he was catching feelings for you. So you just ran away, like a coward.
Some clumsy knocks on the front door of your house bring you back to reality. At first, you try to ignore them. It's not like you're in the mood for visits, knowing that probably it's Leti at the other side of the place, worried because you haven't replied to her text all day. But she insists and insists. And you know how stubborn she can be sometimes. Serving yourself another shot and drinking it in just one gulp, because you're too sober to endure another of her Ted talks about positivism and what he has lost, you stand up on your bare feet. Everything around you spins dizzyingly for a second until you can react, feeling every knock like a hammer hitting your brain.
“I've heard you the fi—”.
Opening the door to receive her, your vocals get frozen as you face Bishop in a deplorable drunk state. Just like you are.
“Let me in”. He barks, not being able to look at your eyes, trying to pass you away to the inside, but you stop him.
“Go home, Obis—”.
“I'm home, shut the fuck up”. He frowns taking a sip from a bottle of whisky you haven't noticed till now. “You think you can kick my fuckin' ass outta your life by saying you're seeing someone else? You think I'm fuckin' stupid, queri— Were you crying…?”
From anger, his tone of voice falls to one lower and lower, as the concern and the worry cover his annoyance completely. Throwing away his drink to somewhere over the grass of your yard, he holds your face onto his palms. His touch causes you to tremble. His warm touch causes you to break into aching sobs, panting as you can't breathe properly. All this time you've been thinking you have missed him, but you didn't have a real idea of how it feels until his fingers have been laid on your wetted skin.
Bishop comes closer to you, touching the tip of your nose with his. You can smell the mixed scent of cigarettes and whisky emanating from his cracked lips, it doesn't bother you, tho. “Don't kiss me, please”.
Until this precise moment, he has loved your begs and pleads to his bones, but now he hates them more than anything he could ever hate in his life. It breaks his heart. He can't deal with your rejection one night more.
“Why…? Why can't I kiss you?” He asks desperately at the edge of his tears. “Please, stop ignoring me, it's driving me crazy. I can't even take care of my own shit without you by my side”.
Your knees feel weak at his words, still believing he only says that because you're just a good lover, the best in the sheets, as he told you once.
“I… I…” You babble nervously, trying to not place your hands on the laps of his leather kutte to finally push him into the needed kiss you've been craving for the last four days. “I love you”.
And why the confession doesn't take him by surprise? Why doesn't he look confused? Why does it seem like he already knew it? Bishop can't help but draw a fleeting grin across his face.
“Do you think I came here, falling into pieces, just because it feels like being in Heaven when I'm deep inside you?” He whispers, clicking his tongue slightly. “I didn't believe you when you told me you were seeing someone else. But the minimal thought I could have about it made me lose the less sanity I have”.
You blink stupefied at his own confession about his feelings. Your fingers tour his abdomen up in slow motion, starting to have some faith in his words.
“Mi amor…” Bishop mumbles in soft giggles shaking his head. “I adore you, mi amor. I don't want anything else than to share my life with you, and only with you”.
He doesn't wait for a signal from you to kiss your lips, he just takes what it's his. And you can't hold back a painful gasp, expelling in it all the sorrow you've been carrying for the last four days being separated from him. Your hands grip his shirt in two fists, pushing him as much closer as the two of you can be, about to melt in the same figure. All this time you have been trying to not love him, to forget him; and you were just delaying the inevitable. You are made for each other, that's a fact. Your lips fit to perfection —your bodies, your hearts.
“Tell me you love me”. You whimper against his mouth, causing him to smile because of your need of making it real by these simple three words.
“Love isn't enough to express what you make me feel”.
Bishop bends down without prior notice to wrap his huge hands on the back of your thighs, urging you to jump onto him and surround his waist with your legs. You haven't forgotten how good his warmth takes over you when he holds you like that, walking inside your house and kicking the door close. Guiding his steps across your place and its hallways, he reaches your dark dorm barely illuminated by a post light outdoors. He lies you down on your bed —a bed that has welcomed you for the last eight months in every kind of state. Drunk, tired, happy.
Now, you're a mix of them. Drunk in tequila, tired of crying, but happy for having him back for the rest of your life.
Paraphilia #3: Podophilia, sexual attraction to feet
W O R S H I P
You massage your temple in small circles as you try your hardest to concentrate on the road, driving your black Mercedes SUV. Today was a really rough day at work.
You were CEO of a startup company that designs programmes protecting video games and preventing hackers to illegally distribute the games. The company is ever growing as the hackers become more and more inventive.
Today you met with Kazuo 'Kaz' Hirai, CEO of the Playstation branch of the Sony Interactive Entertainment group. You had to negotiate a contract to be the company to protect every playstation exclusive game that was to be released in the next five years. Needless to say, a huge deal for you and your company.
"Aishh..." you scoffed as you recalled the cold expression of the japanese middle aged man. That old fart was really stubborn and strong headed. But so were you which made the negotiations rather difficult. After hours and hours of negotiating you finally came to an agreement interesting enough to the both of you, your firm but also Sony.
So yes it was a really rough day. And you were tired... and hungry. Very hungry you thought as you pulled over in the drive away of the modern residence.
Once in the entry you were instantly greeted by the smell of delicious food coming from the kitchen. You didn't even bother taking off your high heeled black pumps and simply directly walked to the dining room.
There you find the table neatly arranged for two. Your boyfriend Baekhyun comes in from the kitchen and instantly jumps when he sees you.
"You scared me! I didn't hear you coming!" he says holding his chest. You puff out a laugh.
He still has the oven mits on, he's wearing a casual pastel green shirt with comfy jeans, topped with a cute blue apron. He's just adorable.
"Sorry I'm so tired I just didn't feel like yelling "i'm home" when I came in"
"I knew it was going to be a tiring day for you so I made you dinner" he came over to you and took off the oven mits then your coat and purse which he placed on the coffee table. He pulled the chair for you.
"That's so gentlemanly of you thank you" you said as you were getting seated. He bowed his head returning your smile before disappearing into the kitchen.
Soon he came back holding the food. Your eyes lit up at the delicious sight and you sat up on your chair. Baekhyun served you and himself then sat just right in front of you.
"Thank you for the food" you said as you leaned in and extended your arm to gently squeeze his hand over the table. He lightly blushes.
"You're welcome" he said before looking down on his chest. "Oops I forgot to take the apron off." he stood up again but you stopped him.
"No keep it on... I think it suits you! It's cute" you smiled at him, he smiled and sat back down.
You proceeded to eat, during the meal Baekhyun kept quiet about your work. He knew it was better to let you eat and enjoy a peaceful evening before actually starting to ask questions. Even though it killed him not to know and he just wanted to bombard you with a thousand questions.
"Aaah... I'm so full" you said rubbing your stomach. Baekhyun cutely smiled at you, his eyes forming crescents that complimented nicely his constellation moles.
"I'm glad you liked it"
"Of course I loved it you're the best cook ever" he was embarrassed at the compliment but flattered anyway.
"Thank you" he then marked a silence and hesitantly asked. "Hmmm... y/n... so how were the negotiations?" finally he asked the question that was burning his lips. You sighed. You would have liked it if he had waited until tomorrow to ask you but on the other hand you understood his curiosity. This contract was a turning point for the company.
"Well... it was... difficult" you said simply. Baekhyun stayed silent only waiting for more details. "Yes... basically I had to cut back on a lot of things I asked... I mean they were the bigger company at the table so I didn't have much negotiation power..." Baekhyun creased his eyebrows, worried. "But I still managed to secure a good deal. So, yes, next week we will officially sign the papers" you said finally. Baekhyun bursted in a loud celebration, which took you by surprise.
"Honey! that's great! you worked so hard for this!"
"Yeah" you said unconvinced... Honestly to you it somehow felt like a small defeat since you had to cut back on so many things but at the same time you had no other choice... "I think I'm just frustrated about how it actually went down, you know?" Baekhyun took your hand in his.
"Honey... the most important thing is that even if the deal isn't the absolute best it's still good for the company and if you do a good job in the course of the next 5 years they will want to work with you again and maybe other big companies will also want to... Next target Nintendo!" He said with a huge smile, gently rubbing your hand with his thumb.
That is something you always loved about Baekhyun. After dating for so long people complain about your significant other not being surprising anymore. When truly it's the best thing about having a relationship. The person staring back at you knows you like you two share the same heart. When your mind is full and you can't seem to put your thoughts into words… you don't have to because they know you. Baekhyun knows you.
He cheers you on when you're down. Sees the positive when you are tired of restlessly hoping. He's your light. He lights up your path everywhere you go.
He was adorable, staring back at you with dark brown eyes and the cute blue apron. So so cute... that unholy ideas started to form inside your dirty mind.
"You're right" you said looking back at him. Under the table you extended your leg and started to rub your foot on his pants. Baekhyun instantly stiffened, his smile dropped. "If only there was a way that I could relax..." you smirked at him with suggestive eyes.
"M-maybe a f-foot massage?" Baekhyun asked hesitantly, he was such a cutie stuttering like this. It made your heart melt.
"Why not?" you said shrugging, acting casual.
Baekhyun took a step in your direction but you stopped him.
"No!" he stopped in his tracks. Looked him up and down, licking your lips, anticipating what was to come. "Crawl to me" you said, smirking again. Baekhyun's warm smile was nowhere to be seen. Instead, it was replaced by that soft submissive expression that you loved so much.
Without a word he got on all fours and slowly approached you, not breaking the eye contact you had. His face was slightly blushed, mixed with embarrassment and anticipation.
Once he reached you, you gently cupped his cheeks.
"Good boy" you praised him. Then you pushed back your chair and rotated on your butt to face him. You crossed your leg and presented him the foot that was hanging in the air. "Now do your thing"
Baekhyun looked up at you then he placed one hand over the heel of your shoe to support your leg the other hand behind your calf. He laid a soft kiss on your ankle and trailed his way down to stop where the shoe went over your toes. He looked up at you for further instructions.
"Lick it" you said. He didn't hesitate to stick his tongue out and lightly flick it against the shiny leather. A satisfied smile spread on your lips. He kissed the shoe again and you felt him lightly pull on the heel to take it off. You quickly lifted his chin with the pointy tip of the shoe.
"No.. Not yet" he whimpered cutely. He's so impatient. "Stand" you command. He does as he's told. "Now strip but keep the apron" he nods
He slips his hands underneath the blue apron and starts to unbutton his shirt. He then takes off one sleeve then the other one. He drops the pastel shirt to the ground. His toned arms move to mesmerize you. You bite on your bottom lip as he continues the show.
He moves on to unbuckle his belt and peels the denim off his skin. Finally he removes his boxers which he throws to the side.
He's left completely naked apart from the apron, which is tightly hugging him. The thin fabric is letting little to the imagination. You can clearly see his broad shoulders and arms who rest at his side and Baekhyun's pretty pink nipples. You let your eyes go down where you can see your boyfriend's bulge pitching a slightly twitchy tent underneath. You lick your lips thinking he's already so excited for you.
"Kiss me" you said lifting your head up slightly. Baekhyun bent down and linked his lips with yours in a heated and passionate kiss.
You untangled your fingers in his hairs, lightly pulling on it, which made him cutely whimper into your mouth. You took the opportunity to push your tongue inside his mouth and deepen the kiss, pulling harder on his hair. He let out cute muffled moans. Then finally you let go of him. He was panting, face flushed red and his hair was messy.
"Now you may remove my shoes" you uncrossed your legs and laid both your feet flat on the ground. Baekhyun hurriedly kneeled down and removed both your shoes, setting them neatly on the side. Your feet made contact with the cold tiles of the dining room. But you didn't mind at all.
"Now lick them" you commanded. Baekhyun was ready to lift your feet to his mouth but you stopped him. "No get down there and lick them from the ground" you said sternly.
Baekhyun placed both his palms on the floor and bent his arms until his cheek touched the tiles. His ass was up in the air when he started to lick your toes. The tickling sensation sent goosebumps on your body and you sighed in satisfaction, fully enjoying the power you held over him.
You then slowly lifted your foot to give him access to your soles. He never broke contact with your foot and his face followed as you lifted it, bringing him back in his initial kneeling position. When he could finally lick your sole he didn't wait for a second. He licked your foot from the heel up to the toes. Your soles were his favourite part and you knew it. You smirked when you saw him indulge himself in the moment.
"Suck my toes" you commanded again. He nodded vigorously, tightly grabbing your foot and as he opened his mouth to bring your big toe inside it. He looked back at you and a soft moan escaped your lips feeling his wet mouth around your foot. "Such a good boy" you moaned softly, your breathing getting ever so slightly quicker.
"Enough!" You say before abruptly taking back your foot. You push him on his chest which causes him to fall back on his butt and his palms flat on the tiles. In this position the tent he's pitching is very visible. And you can't wait to finally see it.
You bring your toes underneath the apron around his crotch area and with a flick of the ankle you push back the fabric over the belt.
Finally you lay eyes on his twitching and aching cock. Precum is already seeping from the slit and you can't help but to smile from ear to ear when you finally uncover it.
"Look at this... Aren't we excited?" you asked, bringing your toes to his balls. Baekhyun stiffens.
"Y-yes" he whispers, unable to take off his eyes from your feet. You lightly lift your foot to the base of his shaft and he buckles up his hips, impatient.
"No no... you have to be good, okay? Are you gonna be a good boy for me?" you coo.
"Yes!" he says excitedly, his eyes still on your foot, nearly popping out of their sockets.
"Good boy" you say before wrapping his cock with both feet and starting to pump his swollen dick. Immediately his eyes roll back as he bites his bottom lip. You pick up the pace and Baekhyun looks back at you. You normally don't go this hard right away but he's not complaining. He feels so good from the footjob.
Baekhyun's saliva really lubed up your feet and they glide easily on his precum oozing dick. You continue to harshly jerk his cock with your feet.
"Fuck... Honey... This is... Aaah... so gooddd!!" he says moaning shamelessly in between each word. He sounds so needy and whiny and most of all he looks absolutely delighted with his eyebrows deeply furrowed and his mouth hanging open.
You felt him twitch around your toes and withdraw them immediately before he can spill his juice. Baekhyun let out a disappointed whimper as the pleasure fades away. You can't help but to smirk when you see him squirm.
"Get up" you command him.
You stand up from the chair and flip the table cloth over the dirty dishes, making way for you to sit.
You take your time, taking every single piece of clothing off you, striping sensually for your boyfrined who thickly swallows as you're removing the last piece of fabric.
You set your bottom on the dark wood of the dining table and lean back over on your elbow, your knees together bent back on your chest. Baekhyun stands in front of you, his dark red cock seeping precum and twitching.
You then part your knees slowly, uncovering your glistening pink folds absolutely drenched in your juices. You're feeling incredibly aroused. Baekhyun is in awe in front of such a view. No matter how many times he's seen you, every time he still is breathless.
"Come here baby" you say as you gesture to him to come close. "Now fuck me baby" you murmur in a sultry tone.
Baekhyun can't believe his ears. Rare are the occasions when you let him fuck you. Most of the time you are on top and in control. But today he's been such a good boy you exceptionally let him be on top.
He doesn't take one more second to align himself with your lonely and aching center. Slowly he pushes himself inside you. The slip is easy as your juices coat even your inner thighs. You gasp delightfully at the sensation of him gently stretching you open.
"Fuck... Y/n...Aaaah" Baekhyun lets out a high pitched moan that wakes up the butterflies in your stomach. You love to hear his struggling moans.
"Fuck me faster" you command your boyfriend who has his eyes tight shut, trying his hardest not to bust right away.
He takes a bruising grip on your fleshy thighs and gradually he picks up the pace, waves of heat and pleasure wash over your entire body as you shamelessly moan while Baekhyun makes your breasts jump with each thrust.
"Tell me how good this feels baby" you tell him, craving more of his high pitched and needy voice. Baekhyun whimpers before answering.
"Aaah... Your pussy feels so good" he says before letting go of one of your thighs to bring your foot to his face. He buried his nose in your sole. "Fuck... aaaah... Honey" he sounds pleading, so submissive despite the fact that he's the one over you roughly pounding into you.
He gasps when he feels your walls tightening around him. He takes one of your toes in his mouth. He makes you feel so good, the way he doesn't restrain his thrusts has you gasping each time his tip kisses your cervix. Your moans and his mix in a beautiful symphony that resonates in the empty dining room.
"Baekhyun don't stop I'm gonna cum" You moan as you extend your hand to bring a little attention to your clit. With two fingers your circle your swollen and needy bud. The pleasure rises again and beads of sweat roll in between your bouncing tits.
"Fuckk... I'm cumming too" he says in one breathy moan, your toes hanging on his lips.
"Aaaah yes baby" you moan finally letting go of the knot in your stomach. Your pussy tightly clenching around Baekhyun's cock, milking it to the last drop of cum.
Baekhyun then pulls out to spread the last streams of cum on your feet, which you bring in front of his pulsing cock and point out. You feel the hot liquid coat your toes and your ankles as Baekhyun cusses and moans loudly.
He then staggers to one of the chairs and crashes on it. His cock still pulsing in his fist, chest heaving and glistening with sweat.
You look at him straight in the eyes when you bring your feet to your mouth and lick them clean. The bitter and sweet taste of Baekhyun's cum fills your mouth. You close your eyes fully enjoying it, moaning against your toes on your lips. Baekhyun looks at you being this naughty with an evil glint in the eye.
"Baby you taste so good" you whisper. Baekhyun smiles, still panting and exhausted.
"Does that mean I'll get to be on top more often?" he asks.
"Hmmm..." you bring your finger to scratch your chin, fainting to think deeply.
"No" you say with a smile. You're already off in the staircase laughing when Baekhyun grumbles and pouts cutely protesting.
Vampire Commission
M vampire X F human, 8,300 words.
This story was very kindly commissioned by @demigoddessqueens. She requested a story where her OC, Hazel, falls in love with a sweet vampire, with some angst and hurt comfort. There is also an NSFW version on her blog, so go and check that out! I hope you enjoy, and I am very grateful for the commission.
The castle stood at the base of a mountain, surrounded by pines. It was only a short distance from the rest of the town, a little more thana twenty-minute walk, but Hazel had elected to take a cab. It may not have been a long walk, but it certainly was a steep one.
Up close, the castle was no less intimidating than it was from a distance. It was made of dark stone, with great spires reaching upwards, as if in mimicry of the mountain it sat beneath. Despite the clear sky, Hazel almost expected lightning to flash and thunder to rumble as she stepped out onto the grounds.
The interior of the castle was somewhat less intimidating. The owner had apparently seen fit to modernize, so the main foyer was bright with electric lighting. The furniture looked old, made of dark wood and lined with tasteful golden touches, but it was clearly well-cared-for. The rug in the entranceway was deep red, the color bright and appealing. There was a regal air to the decorating, but it was a warm sort of regal, not uninviting.
A few other people milled around the entranceway. Presumably, they were the other members of the tour. Hazel moved to join them.
“That looks like everyone!” Hazel looked around to see a middle-aged woman with brown hair in a tight bun and a formal uniform. “Welcome all. I’m glad you’ve all been able to make it here and I’m sure you’re all excited to spend the night in this wonderful piece of history. Before we begin, I have someone to introduce you to.”
Hazel blinked. The man standing next to the tour guide had apparently just melted out of the shadows, moving so swiftly and silently that he almost appeared to be gliding. He stepped into the light like he was half expecting it to burn him, tensing subtly underneath the glow.
He was pretty, was Hazel’s first though. Long, black hair, pale, flawless skin, fine features, and strikingly golden eyes. He glanced around the crowd and gave a small nod of greeting. “This is the owner of the castle, Asterius,” the tour guide said. “He’s going to be your host for the evening.”
Asterius cleared his throat. “I am pleased to welcome you into my home.” His voice was low and smooth. A tingle worked its way down Hazel’s spine.
“Wonderful,” the tour guide said. “Now, first stop on our tour is the parlor. If you’ll all follow me?”
The tour moved through room after room, each one draped in tasteful finery. There were similarities in the style in each room, dark furniture, gold accents, and bright red splashes of color. The tour guide spoke hurriedly about the history of each location and of a few specific pieces of furniture.
“As you can see, this room was once used for balls, where the ladies and gentlemen of the day would meet their potential suitors,” the tour guide said as she led the group through an enormous room with a high, arched ceiling. Hazel examined a large painting over the fireplace. It showed a great garden scene, a man with long black hair bending over a flower bush, back toward the viewer.
“This is a beautiful painting,” she said. “When is it from?”
The tour guide stumbled a little over her prepared notes. “Oh, er, I’m not sure. Quite old, I would say. It’s been in this castle for as long as I can remember.”
“Two hundred and seventy-four years old.” The low voice made Hazel turn. Asterius was gazing at the painting, apparently unaware that he had even spoken. He caught sight of Hazel’s gaze on him and he ducked his head. “The painting has been hanging in this room for two hundred and seventy-four years.”
The tour guide gave a bright smile. “Thank you, Asterius. There you go. Now, if we continue on to the dining room, we’ll see-”
Asterius didn’t follow the tour for a few minutes, staring up at the painting. Hazel lingered with him as well. His eyes flicked toward her, catching her gaze and he stared. She gave him a warm smile before following the tour into the next room.
The dining room was enormous, with a long wooden table in the center. Ornate chandeliers lit the length of it and illuminated the gilded carvings on the wall. The deep teakwood of the table groaned under the weight of the feast that had been set out onto it.
The other members of the tour hurried to find a seat. The tour guide seated herself at the far end of the table and Asterius settled at the head of the table. Oddly, most of the other tour members seemed to shy away from him, picking seats closer to the tour guide. His end of the table looked rather lonely. Hazel sat in one of the seats next to him. He was even prettier up close. His cheekbones were as sharp as broken glass and his eyes seemed luminous. He gave her an uncertain look, but didn’t ask her to move away.
Dinner was a spectacular feast. It was all old-fashioned food, each different plate explained by the tour guide. Roast pork, roasted potatoes, some sort of lamb stew- Hazel found herself eating all sorts of things that she never had before.
There was lively chatter at the tour guide’s end of the table, but Asterius’ end was quiet. Hazel took another bite of food, eyeing him out of the corner of her eye. He didn’t appear to be eating. There was a glass of wine in front of him, but he seemed more interested in swirling and sniffing at it than actually drinking from it.
“Not hungry?” Hazel asked. Asterius’ gaze shifted to her, apparently startled he’d even been spoken to.
“No,” he said. His voice was softer up close, and strangely shy. He didn’t seem fully capable of looking her in the eyes.
“It’s good food,” Hazel continued, trying to keep the conversation alive. “But I suppose you’re used to it, since you live here?”
An odd expression flicked over Asterius’ face. “Not really,” he said.
“Only for special occasions, then?” Hazel asked, gesturing to the feast.
“Something like that,” Asterius said. He’d turned his attention more fully toward her, golden eyes flicking over her body.
“It’s an amazing place to live,” Hazel continued. “You do live here, right?”
“For a long time,” Asterius said.
“A long time?” Hazel repeated, peering into his face. “You can’t possibly be older than mid-twenties. How old were you when you purchased the castle?”
Asterius’ mouth twitched like he was repressing a smile. “I’m older than I look,” he said, then laughed. It was surprisingly warm and gentle and something in the pit of Hazel’s stomach jumped. Asterius caught sight of her and his hand jumped up to cover his mouth. “What?” he said from behind his fingers.
“You look nice when you laugh,” Hazel said. Asterius ducked his head. His skin was as pale as ever, but Hazel wouldn’t have been surprised to see him blush.
“You’re not local,” Asterius said. “You’re not from this country, are you?”
Hazel shook her head. “French Canadian. I’m on vacation right now. Old European architecture is really interesting. There’s nothing like it back home.”
“I suppose it would be interesting to someone who’s never seen if before,” Asterius mused. “It’s quite normal to me. I would be interested to see what your home looks like. I’ve never left the country.”
 “You’ve never traveled?” Hazel asked. Asterius shook his head.
“The idea of traveling makes me a little nervous,” he said.
“Fear of flying?” Hazel asked. Asterius gave another quiet laugh and again, when he realized that he was laughing, he covered his mouth with a hand.
“Something like that.” Even with his hand over his mouth, Hazel could still see his eyes crinkling in a smile.
Dessert was served, and though Asterius didn’t partake in that either, he seemed at least more comfortable with the conversation. “Have you been enjoying your time here? I know that the castle does not always seem hospitable to guests.”
“It’s been nice here, actually,” Hazel said. “Very comfortable.”
“I’m glad,” Asterius said. He smiled again, eyes soft. “If there’s anything I can do to make you more comfortable, let me know.”
Hazel beamed at him, which seemed to fluster him into another strange not-blush. “Thank you.”
After dinner, the tour guide led them up into one of the two castle towers. Hazel hung back, walking with Asterius. “It’s a nice tower,” he said. “Possibly the best one in the castle. Excepting mine, I suppose.”
“Maybe I could see it some time,” Hazel said, nudging him teasingly. He looked so startled to be touched that he seemed to completely skip over the innuendo. There was something unbearably adorable about how flustered he seemed to be. Hazel giggled as he focused on the stone steps.
“All of the towers were built well over three hundred years ago,” he said, apparently casting about for another subject. “They’re in quite good condition, despite that.”
“Everything in this castle seems well-maintained,” Hazel said. “It’s a beautiful place.”
It might have been a trick of the flickering light, but Asterius’ chest seemed to swell with pride. “Yes. It is.”
The tower was just as richly decorated as the rest of the house, and the bed Hazel was shown to was wonderfully comfortable. Asterius hovered for a bit until he was assured that she was comfortable, then he swept back out into the rest of the castle. Hazel watched him go.
Sleep came fitfully to he during the night. Asterius’ shy smile kept creeping into her mind, and the new location wasn’t helping with her sleep. She managed to catch a few hours before the tour group was roused again for breakfast.
Hazel had been looking forward to seeing Asterius at breakfast again, but he was conspicuously absent at the breakfast table. She kept an eye out for him, head popping up every time she heard the door open, but he never showed.
By the end of breakfast, a flutter of worry had started to form in Hazel’s stomach. The rest of the tour group headed for the castle grounds, for a tour of the outside, but Hazel slipped away from them.
She worked her way through the castle. Fortunately, she remembered most of the layout from the tour, and was able to navigate with relative ease. Hurriedly and carefully, she worked her way toward the other main tower of the castle, where Asterius lived.
Eventually, she managed to find her way to a small room with a laundry hamper and an old-fashioned washing machine. She was just about to move on when something it he shadows shifted. Hazel squinted at it. The shape seemed to melt into the shadows, but she could just make out its long black hair and tall, slender form. “Asterius?”
He whirled toward her. Now that he was out of the shadows, Hazel realized that he was completely shirtless. The skin of his chest was just as pale as the skin of his face and she could see the slight definition of his muscles shifting as he stared at her. “Hazel?”
“I’m sorry,” she said. A part of her thought it was indecent that she wasn’t removing her gaze, but she really didn’t want to. “I was looking for you. You weren’t at breakfast and I got worried.”
A strange, but pleased expression crossed Asterius’ face. “You were looking for me?”
“It was nice talking to you last night. I didn’t want to go without saying goodbye,” Hazel said. Asterius smiled, one of his hands moving up over his mouth again.
“Thank you,” he said. “I’m glad to see you again, too.” He emerged more fully from the shadows. One of the lights on the wall flickered, casting a stronger beam of light over his face. For a moment, his eyes caught the light and Hazel froze. They reflected it, going solid white like an animal’s in headlights. Then the light shifted off his face and they returned to their normal gold. Asterius cocked his head at Hazel. “Are you all right?”
“Sorry. Thought I saw something strange. I’m all right.” Hazel brushed it off. She’d heard that human eyes could do it under certain conditions, right? It must have just been a weird trick of the light. “It was nice meeting you. I haven’t been in town long and I haven’t had a chance to meet anyone yet. I’m glad that I’ve seen at least one friendly face.”
“The entire town is friendly once you get to know it,” Asterius said. Hazel laughed.
“Maybe. I just haven’t been able to find my way around. Even the maps are unhelpful. It’s the old streets, I think. More modern cities have a grid pattern, but the roads here are winding.”
“If you’d like, I could show you around.” Asterius seemed slightly surprised at himself for speaking, but he continued regardless. “I’ve lived here for a long time- I know the town well. I could even show you some locations that aren’t usually placed on maps.”
“Really? As long as it’s not any trouble,” Hazel said.
“It’s not. It’s been a while since I’ve left this place, actually. It’s probably a good idea to get out for a little bit.” Asterius’ gaze moved toward the ground, his posture shy.
“Then I’d love to see the town with you,” Hazel said.
“I can pick you up tomorrow, around six,” Asterius said. “Don’t worry about money. I can pay. I’ve not had the opportunity to spend much recently, so it’s rather burning a hole in my pocket.”
Hazel beamed at him. “Then it’s a date.”
This time, she was surprised to see that his cheeks went bright pink. She’d almost thought him incapable of blushing. “I will see you then,” he said, then hurried out of the room.
He had already swept off by the time Hazel realized she had forgot to tell him where he was staying. Ah, well. It was a small town, wasn’t it? There was probably only one hotel in it. She turned to exit the room when a bright splash of color caught her eye, just at the edge of the light.
Hanging out of the wicker hamper was the sleeve of a white shirt. Presumably, it was the one Asterius had worn into the room. But that wasn’t what had drawn her attention. What had caught her gaze was the smear of red across the sleeve.
Feeling guilty, but unbearably curious, Hazel moved closer. With her pointer finger and thumb, she tugged on the shirt, revealing most of it.
There were bloodstains smeared all along the front of the shirt. They were fresh, too, still wet. Hazel dropped the shirt. Was it Asterius’ blood? No, it couldn’t be. If he’d had cuts bad enough to cause this much bleeding, she would have seen them. Then it was someone else’s?
For a moment, an image of a grim-looking Asterius, knife in hand, spattered in blood, rose to her mind. She banished it. No. He could barely look her in the eyes without getting flustered. There was no way he could hurt someone like that.
 An accident, then. And none of her business. If Asterius had wanted to tell her, he would have. Fixing that idea firmly in her head, Hazel turned and left the castle.
She was thinking about her tour with Asterius for the rest of the day, and for most of the next one as well. Excitement buzzed in her body, making it impossible to sit still. The clock moved unbearably slowly, no matter how much she mentally tried to urge it on.
Hazel stood outside her hotel at six. The sun was very nearly set, only a thin stripe of orange left at the horizon. A few lines of late sunlight stretched across the road, making Hazel squint even in the low light.
“You look nice.” Hazel jumped and whirled around. Asterius was standing right next to her. He was in the shadows, but he still held a dark parasol over his head. He was also wearing a set of darkly tinted sunglasses, which completely hid his golden eyes. “I apologize. I didn’t mean to startle you.”
“It’s all right,” Hazel said, giving him a broad smile. His returned smile was small and shy. “Though it seems a little late for a tour. I thought it would be easier to see the sights during the day.”
Asterius shook his head. “Trust me. You and I will have a much better time looking around at night. The sunlight can be a bit harsh.”
“I’ve found it pleasant,” Hazel said, but she didn’t push him. His skin was a lot paler than hers, after all. Perhaps he burned easily.
“Are you ready to go?” Asterius asked. Hazel nodded and linker her arm through his.
“Lead on.” He laughed quietly and started walking down the street. Even though there was only a little bit of weak sunlight left, he didn’t lower the parasol.
Asterius, as it turned out, had not been exaggerating when he said he knew the town well. Every brick in the street seemed to have a history that he knew about. “This corner,” he said, gesturing to a small chocolate shop, “used to be a bakery in the early eighteen hundreds. They used to put sawdust in bread, to try and make the flour last longer. When people found out, there was a bit of a riot and the shop got closed down. It burned to the ground a few days later. It was supposedly an accident, but there was a lot of suspicion of arson. People say the baker still haunts the area.”
The long river that trailed along the edge of town was another site that Asterius knew a lot about. “There used to be a festival where they made little boats and pushed them down the river. Supposedly, if your boat made it to the end, it signaled good luck in the coming year. They still do something similar, but it’s a lot more elaborate. There’s a contest for the nicest boat.”
The tour wound through town, and soon your mind was filled with interesting historical tidbits and cultural notes. Asterius lowered his parasol as the sun went down and removed his sunglasses. Every now and then, a passing shop window would make his eyes reflect oddly again. Hazel just put her mind to ignoring it.
Toward the edge of town, Asterius stopped next to an old building. It didn’t quite look derelict, but it was shuttered, and it didn’t to seem to have had anyone inside it recently. “There was a theater here,” Asterius said. “It closed only a year ago. Nothing’s replaced it yet, which is a shame. It’s a lovely old building.”
“It does look nice,” Hazel said.
“Would you like to go inside?” Asterius asked. Hazel looked at him in surprise, then back at the door, which had been secured by a heavy lock.
“You have a key?” she asked. She could almost hear Asterius’ grin.
“No. But I have another way in.” He guided her down the side of the building and down a small set of stairs. There was a door set into a recess of the building. Asterius jiggled the handle and the door creaked open.
Inside, the area was cramped, dusty, and smelled faintly of water damage. Hazel found herself pressed up against Asterius. “This leads to the dressing rooms,” Asterius said. “And this way goes toward the stage.” He pulled her into another cramped chamber. They were pressed awkwardly close to one another. Hazel felt her heart race speed up as his chest pressed against her back.
After a few moments of being pressed together, Asterius managed to wriggle into a larger space, stepping away from Hazel. The room around them opened up into the great expanse of the stage.
The wooden floor creaked under Hazel’s feet as she walked across the stage. It was deathly quiet, like the hush that fell right before a play started. It was dark beyond the bounds of the stage, but Hazel could just barely make out the seats of the auditorium.
 “I come here sometimes when I want peace.” Asterius walked across the stage and sat down on the edge. Hazel sat next to him. “I have a lot of good memories of this place. They used to have concerts here. Sometimes I would sneak in and listen up there.” He pointed up to a small alcove near the roof. It looked like it was just the right size for one person to sit in comfortably. It did look like it would be difficult to get up there, though. Hazel had the mental image of him crouching up there like a bat.
“It is a really beautiful place,” Hazel said. Even in the dark, there was a grandeur to the area. There was a quiet reverence in the air. It was just her and Asterius, alone in the room, together. No one was there to interrupt. There might have only been the two of them in the world.
Tentatively, Hazel leaned against Asterius’ shoulder. Her hand crept toward his, where it was resting on the edge of the stage. Their pinky fingers touched. His hand was cool against hers.
Asterius jolted, pulling his hand back close to his body. “Ah. Um. I suppose I sort of drifted off there. I apologize.” He scrambled to his feet. “We should probably be going. It is getting rather late.”
Disappointment kicked Hazel in the stomach. She tried not to let it overwhelm her. He did seem shy. Maybe all this was just a little overwhelming to him. “You’re right. It is a little late.”
They carefully made their way back out into the street. Hazel’s stomach gurgled, reminding her that she still hadn’t gotten any dinner. They’d been too preoccupied to even thing about food.
Asterius glanced at her, lips quirking into a small smile. “Hungry?”
Hazel felt her face burn. “You heard that?” Damn, she hadn’t thought her stomach was that loud.
“I can buy you something to eat,” he said. “There are a few places when we get further into town.” He set off at a quick pace, forcing Hazel to pick up her face in order to keep up.
After getting into the main part of town again, Asterius managed to find a small bakery that served a variety of delicious-looking breads and sandwiches and sweet buns. “I can buy you whatever you want,” he said. Hazel picked out a few things, unable to settle on just one. They all looked delicious. She started eating a sticky bun as they walked back to the hotel.
“Are you sure you don’t want anything?” she asked as they approached the doorway. “It’s really good.” She attempted to press a roll into his hands, but he pushed it away.
“I assure you, I’m not hungry.”
“Are you sure? I’ve never seen you eat. I don’t want you to starve,” Hazel said. Asterius laughed.
“I assure you that I’m fine. I don’t eat in front of other people.” He stopped in front of the front door of the hotel and turned to Hazel. “I’m glad you allowed me to show you around. This has been a most pleasant evening.”
“I enjoyed myself too. It was really good to spend time with you.” Hazel squeezed one of his hands. He squeezed back. “Will I be able to see you again?”
“You can stop by any time you’d like,” Asterius said. “I look forward to seeing you again. But I think I should let you get some rest. It really is late.” He gave Hazel a small bow, then swept off into the night. Hazel watched him until he vanished into the dark before entering the hotel.
Hazel didn’t see Asterius for the next few days. She spent most of her time exploring the town, trying to find something for him. He had taken his time to show her around town. It felt only right that she should give him something in return.
It took days of searching to find the right thing, something that would be a token of her appreciation. Eventually, she found a tiny music box. The color scheme reminded her of the castle and the song that issued forth was gentle and soothing while still filled with the rich sounds of an orchestra.
She headed back up to the castle late in the evening. It seemed like an odd time to stop by but she figured that Asterius might have been busy with work during the day. Anyway, he had taken her out in the evening. It seemed only right to return the favor.
It was fully night by the time Hazel made it up to the castle, but there was a glow of warm light around the castle. She made her way up to the front door and hesitated. Hm. Would anyone even hear her if she knocked on the door? The castle was big and she wasn’t really expecting Asterius to hear her. Maybe she should-
Something moved in the corner of her eye. She turned her head toward it, squinting into the shadows. Someone tall and slender was making their way away from the castle and across the grounds.
Asterius! Her heart leapt. That was a stroke of good luck. She hurried after him as he crossed the grounds with long strides.
He was heading toward a pen, she noticed. There were a few sheep milling around in it. One of them raised its head as he approached. He hopped the fence in a smooth motion and approached it. Hazel stepped out of the shadows, mouth open to call out to him when she saw something that made her words die in her throat.
Asterius opened his mouth wider than she thought a human could open their mouth and plunged his teeth into the sheep’s neck.
The sheep squirmed for only a moment before falling still. Asterius buried his face into its neck. Hazel could see him gulping, see the heaving motions of his body as he drank the sheep’s blood out of his body.
She stared, forgetting that she was in full view of him. A strangled squeaking noise escaped her throat.
Asterius’s head snapped up, his mouth tearing away from the sheep’s throat. Blood dripped down from the bite wound, spattering across his shirt. His fangs, enormous and sharp, glistened in the light streaming from the castle.
His eyes locked onto her and she saw his expression change. In one moment, he went from fearsome predator to an uncertain, horrified man. “Hazel,” he said, and even though his voice was quiet, it carried all the way across the field.
Hazel didn’t run. Now that she was over her shock, her brain was starting to put the pieces together. He didn’t like the sunlight. He didn’t eat. The bloodstained shirt. Obviously. A vampire.
 Intellectually, she knew she should probably be stunned, even scared. But she wasn’t. He’d been a vampire the entire time she’d known him and he’d never attempted to hurt her. He was still Asterius, still the sweet, shy man Hazel knew. Just because he had some extra-pointy canines and some unusual dietary needs didn’t make him evil or scary.
Asterius was looking at her like he was waiting for her to start screaming. He was tensed, poised to start running. “I can explain,” he said. “I- I-”
“It’s okay.” He looked so distressed and anxious that Hazel couldn’t suppress her need to comfort him. She strode toward him and he scrambled back. She froze. “It’s okay! I don’t want to hurt you. Are you okay?”
Asterius blinked, then seemed to register her soothing tone of voice and non-threatening posture. “You’re not scared of me?”
“Why would I be?” Hazel asked.
“Because I’m a vampire,” he said. “And I’m covered in blood.”
“It’s a little gross. But not scary,” Hazel said. “You’re still the same person. I’m not afraid of you, Asterius.”
He processed that for a moment. The sheep he’d been sucking on stumbled to its hooves and staggered off into the meadow. “Come inside,” he finally said. “It’s cold out here and I need to change. Then we can talk.”
They entered the castle through a narrow passage that opened up into a small sitting room. Hazel guessed, based on the direction that they’d been moving, that it was close to Asterius’ tower. “Sit,” he said, nudging her toward one of the opulent chairs. “Do you want anything to eat or drink? I don’t have much, but I’m sure I can find something.” He hurried off into the next room. Hazel could hear him rattling with ceramic items, presumably so that she knew he wasn’t bolting. She had no doubt he could move as silently as a shadow.
He returned after about fifteen minutes in a clean shirt and with a small cup of tea. “Here,” he said, passing it to Hazel. He settled in a seat across from her. “I imagine you have some questions?”
Hazel took a sip of the tea. It was faintly spiced, warming her throat and stomach. “You’re a vampire,” she said.
He nodded. “I was turned… oh, quite a while ago. Over two hundred years, I think. I keep it pretty well under wraps. I try not to let too many people see me about and I fake my own death every once in a while and lie low.” He fidgeted, toying with a few strands of his hair. “You are the first person to discover me.”
“I won’t tell anyone,” Hazel promised.
Asterius smiled faintly. “You’re truly not afraid of me? I figured my discovery would come with more screaming and general terror.”
“You didn’t frighten me before. I don’t see why you should frighten me now.”
“I could kill you,” Asterius said.
“So could any human. I trust that you won’t. You seem far too kind.” An odd expression flickered over Asterius’ face, eventually resolving itself into a small, tentative smile.
“You flatter me,” he said. “Thank you.” You sipped your tea as Asterius gazed at you fondly. After a moment, he seemed to startle and looked down. “Ah, what were you doing here, anyway? I wouldn’t have been hunting if I was expecting company.”
You hurriedly patted your pockets, sighing in relief when you pulled out the present. “I got you a gift, as a thank you for showing me around the other day.” You held out the small, wrapped box to him. He took it delicately in his long fingers and pulled off the wrapping paper.
“It’s beautiful,” he said, opening the box. Soft music filled the room. “Thank you,” Asterius said in a low voice. “I haven’t received a gift in a very long time.”
There was several moments of silence as Asterius listened to the music. His expression was soft and open, strikingly beautiful in the soft light of the room. You couldn’t stop staring at him.
Eventually, Asterius cleared his throat and stood. “I’ll walk you back to your hotel,” he said. He led Hazel back through the passageway and into the castle courtyard. Together, they headed down the street to her hotel.
The walk was done in silence, but it was a comfortable silence. Hazel got the impression Asterius was still digesting that she knew and hadn’t run screaming for the hills. He kept looking at her like he was afraid she was going to suddenly vanish into thin air.
They stopped outside Hazel’s hotel. “Thank you,” Asterius said. “For the gift and for… accepting me.”
“It wasn’t difficult. You’re a good person.” Asterius looked unconvinced, so Hazel reached out and placed a hand on his arm. He stiffened. “I’d like to see you again.”
“I would like to see you again too,” Asterius said in a quiet, shy voice. “Perhaps we can go out again tomorrow evening?” He spoke quickly, like he was afraid he would stop himself if he didn’t get the words out in time.
Hazel beamed. “I would like that. I’ll see you then.” She squeezed his hand. He blushed again, gave her a slight bow, then swept off again Hazel saw him glance at her over his shoulder as he headed away.
Asterius picked her up again the next evening, and the evening after that, and the evening after that. He took her to places all over town, showing off his knowledge for her. The nights grew longer and longer, until they were arriving back at Hazel’s hotel at nearly four in the morning. After a few days of that, Hazel had practically become nocturnal, sleeping during the day and waking up in time for her dates with Asterius.
A little over a week after their first date when Asterius took Hazel back to his castle. “You seemed interested during the tour. I can show you a few things that they don’t usually show people.”
Hazel grinned at him. She was close enough that her shoulder was brushing against his, though she was a little nervous to get any closer. There were times when Asterius moved a little bit like a skittish horse. She needed to be slow and gentle with him. “I would love that.”
They returned through the castle through the secret passageway Asterius had shown her when she had learned he was a vampire. “There are a few passageways like this,” he said. “They’re all over the castle. I think I’m the only person who knows about all of them.”
Most of the passageways were small and dusty and led almost nowhere, but Asterius still showed them all off with the sort of pride one would expect from a proud parent.
“You see this one?” he said, waving his arm into a spiraling passage that led down into a basement. “It was built only a little bit before I purchased the castle. It’s supposed to be an escape passage, but it was never fully finished. It only leads down to a small room. I mostly just use it for storage.”
Another room had a storage area that was filled with paintings. “I had a period where I went a little crazy commissioning artists and buying paintings. I was in a bit of a spiral and I had quite a bit of money.”
The room that Hazel found the most interesting was a tiny room hidden behind a wall. It was small and cozy, with only a small lamp for light, a cozy-looking chair, and a small bookshelf overflowing with dog-eared volumes. “What’s this place for?” Hazel asked.
Asterius smiled, looking vaguely embarrassed. “It’s just somewhere to go when I want to get away from it all. No one can find me here, so I just need to go inside, close the door, and I can spend some time by myself, with my thoughts.”
His body was close to Hazel’s very nearly touching. Attraction coiled through Hazel’s body. His face was soft and distant and there was something unbearably sweet in his expression. Tentatively, Hazel reached up and lay a hand on the side of his face. He looked at her in confusion, but didn’t pull away. Before he could reconsider, Hazel leaned up and pressed her mouth to his.
For a long moment, Hazel could taste his mouth against hers. The sweet, gentle press of his lips. The way his long, silken hair tangled under her fingers. The way her heart pounded and her stomach trembled and goosebumps erupted all over her skin.
And then Asterius pushed her away, stumbling back, and the moment was over.
“What are you doing?” he asked.
“Kissing you!” Hazel said. “I thought- I mean, you said you wanted to get to know me better-”
Asterius didn’t seem to be listening. There was something distant and horrified in his eyes, like he wasn’t even seeing her anymore. “I can’t,” he whispered, and Hazel didn’t really think he was talking to her. “No, not again, I can’t.”
“It’s okay,” Hazel said. “It was only a kiss. We don’t have to-”
She took a step closer to him and Asterius hissed, scrambling back from her. “Don’t touch me! It’s not safe! I’m not safe!”
Hazel held up her hands. Asterius seemed to be spiraling. “Hey, it’s okay. It’s okay. I trust you, remember?”
“You shouldn’t!” Asterius bared his fangs. “Stay away! Keep away from me!”
“I’m not going to let you go on some kind of self-sacrificial mission because you think you’re dangerous!” Hazel said. “I told you, I trust you and I’m not going anywhere.”
Asterius gave her a wild-eyed look, then darted for her. Hazel stood her ground, but Asterius simply slipped past her, melting through the doorway without touching her. She turned as he ran through the room, fleeing her.
“Asterius!” Hazel fled after him, but he was able to easily keep ahead of her. He slipped into a room and the door slammed shut behind him. There was the distinct noise of a lock clicking.
“Asterius!” Hazel slammed her fist on the door. “Let me in!”
“Leave!” Asterius bellowed. “Hazel, go! You can’t be around me!”
“Please, Asterius, just let me talk to you. We can discuss this!”
“Just go!” Asterius’ voice broke and Hazel heard the ragged breaths of someone breaking down into tears.
She stepped back from the door. Asterius was still crying, weak and quiet. There was no way she was going to get through the door, and even if she did, Asterius wasn’t going to talk to her. “Fine,” she said. “If you want me to go, I’ll go. But I’m not going to leave you alone.” With a final, reluctant glance at the door, Hazel headed out of the castle.
She could barely sleep when she returned to the hotel. She spent most of the day wandering around the town, thoughts full of Asterius. Was he okay? Why had he panicked like that? He had seemed so convinced that he was going to hurt you, even though he had never done anything even slightly aggressive. How could he think that?
When the sun set again, Hazel slipped back to the castle. “Asterius!” she called, pacing the grounds around the castle. She could see something shifting in the windows of his tower. “Asterius! Please! Just talk to me!” She yelled until her voice went hoarse, until the sun was peeking over the horizon again. Defeated, Hazel returned to her Hotel.
Every night, Hazel returned to the castle. She could see Asterius in his tower, but he never came down, never acknowledged her presence. Still, she didn’t let up. If he wasn’t going to talk to her, she was at least going to make sure he couldn’t ignore her.
She kept going to his castle every night for a week. As much as she was determined to keep doing it, she was starting to feel desperate. Her vacation would be ending soon. How could she go back home without seeing him again?
“Asterius!” she yelled up at his tower. She hadn’t seen anything moving in his window like she usually did. Was he out hunting? She felt a little silly, possibly yelling up to no one, but she didn’t want to just leave. “Asterius! I want to talk to you!”
“Don’t you know how to leave well enough alone?”
Hazel whirled around. Asterius was standing behind her. He looked somewhat rumpled, hair tossed carelessly over his shoulders, expression weary. “I would have thought you could take a hint,” he said. “Apparently, you can’t tell you’re not wanted.”
His words stung, but Hazel stiffened her back and stared back at him. “You’ve been avoiding me.”
 Asterius bared his teeth. “Obviously.” He stalked closer to her. “Unfortunately, you seem completely incapable of doing the same.”
Hazel glared. “Of course I’m not going to avoid you. I can tell when something’s wrong. We were having a good time and all of a sudden, you just freaked out and ran off. If you didn’t want to kiss or you don’t think of me that way, you can at least be a man and tell me to my face.”
“It wasn’t about the kiss,” Asterius said, then looked pissed at himself.
“Then what was it about?” Hazel asked, softening her tone. “I’m not going to go away until you tell me.”
Asterius glared at her for a moment, then the fight visibly went out of him. His shoulders slumped and his expression tightened, like he was on the verge of tears. “It was wrong of me to get so close to you. I knew it was wrong, but I couldn’t help myself. I’m sorry.” He took a deep, shuddering breath. “I’m dangerous. It’s dangerous for you to be around me.”
Hazel frowned. “I told you already. I trust y-”
“You shouldn’t!” The words burst from Asterius and he grimaced, clenching his jaw shut. “You shouldn’t,” he repeated more quietly.
“Why not?” Hazel demanded. Asterius gave her a mournful look and took a deep breath.
“It was a long time ago. Not too long after I was changed. There was a woman I loved. She knew what I was and she didn’t care either. We were happy. But then… I hadn’t hunted. I ate humans, back then. I didn’t kill, but I needed to be more careful, so I wouldn’t be discovered. I was so hungry. It’s not like hunger for humans. You can’t think of anything else when you’re like that. My love- one of her brothers came home from a hunting trip and he smelled like blood and I couldn’t think anymore. When I came back to myself, I had half-drained him. I tried to save him, but it was too late. My love came home and saw me covered in blood, crouched over her brother, and she knew what I had done. I fled. It was the last time I ever saw her.”
Asterius fell silent. He was staring at the ground, unable to look Hazel in the eye. For a moment, it seemed like he was about to start sobbing. Then he spoke again. “I started hunting animals after that. I avoid humans when I can. I just- I can’t risk doing that again.” He glanced at Hazel. “You should go. Please. If I hurt you- I’ve already done enough.”
Hazel looked at him for a moment. Then she strode toward him. He looked up at her, surprise written all over his face. “Hazel, you-”
She cut him off by pressing his mouth to his. He kissed back for a moment before regaining control of himself and pulling her off him. “What- Hazel, I told you to leave! Aren’t you… aren’t you horrified?”
“Asterius,” Hazel said. “It was terrible, what happened. But it wasn’t your fault. You already said you weren’t in control of your actions. You didn’t mean to and you’ve done everything in your power to stop yourself from doing it again.”
He made a quiet whimpering noise. “But if it happens again- if I lose control and you’re there- Hazel, I couldn’t stand it!”
“You won’t,” Hazel said. “I trust you. You’re more aware of it, you’re careful, you’ve been nothing but sweet and kind. Please. You’re not evil because you made a mistake once. Let yourself be happy.”
Asterius stared at her. His breathing was quick and trembling, but his eyes were filled with something like wonder. “You want to stay with me?” he whispered.
Hazel grinned. “I want to do more than that.”
She pressed her lips to his and this time, Asterius leaned into the kiss wholeheartedly. His hands splayed across Hazel’s back, lifting her off the ground. The kisses were heated, open-mouthed. Hazel’s tongue traced over his fangs, which were elongated with his excitement.
“Should we-” Asterius gasped between kisses. “Should we go inside?”
Hazel broke apart from him. “Inside. Outside. I don’t care.” She pressed her mouth back to his.
Asterius lifted Hazel up into his arms, lips still pressed against hers. Despite being completely involved in the kiss, he managed to carry Hazel back inside and up into his room.
The night melted into pleasure, their bodies pressed together. The separation between them felt thin, barely there. For several long moments, they were only aware of each other, huddled close in Asterius’ bed.
They lay there for a while, until Hazel’s stomach started growling and Asterius insisted on getting her something to eat. “I keep food around here for the staff,” he said. “I’m sure they won’t mind if you eat it.”
As it turned out, Asterius wasn’t a half-bad cook, as long as he was making something simple. “I can follow a recipe,” he explained. “I can’t taste anything, though, so I can’t get very experimental.”
The two of you sat together, half-dressed in his kitchen. You ate slowly, picking through the eggs he’d made for you. “You’re all right?” Asterius asked. “You’re sure?”
Hazel laughed. “Of course, I’m fine. I’m great. It was… It was incredible, Asterius.” He smiled at that, but there was still some tension around his eyes. Hazel leaned across the table to swat at his hand. “Out with it. I can see that something’s bothering you.”
Asterius chuckled. “I can’t hide anything from you,” he said. “I was thinking…” He hesitated. “Well, I’ve been worrying, really.”
Hazel focused her attention fully on him. “About what?”
Asterius sighed. “I’m immortal. You’re not.” He fidgeted, twisting his fingers together. “You’ll die.”
“Eventually,” Hazel said. “Is that what you’re worrying about?”
“Yes! Of course it is! I’ve already had one relationship end badly. I don’t want you to get old and or sick or even worse, you die in some kind of accident.” Asterius choked off, staring down at the table. He blinked rapidly. “Perhaps it would be better if… if we didn’t do this.”
“Hey,” Hazel said, setting her fork down. “Don’t talk like that. That’s idiotic. You’re not going to do the whole self-sacrifice thing again, are you? Where you lock yourself away, convinced it’s for my own good or something?” Asterius looked ashamed. “That’s ridiculous. You’re not helping anyone. You’re just making yourself feel worse.”
“But I can’t stop worrying about it! I don’t want you to die, I don’t want you to get sick, and even if I turn you, I don’t want you to have to go through what I did-”
“Asterius!” Hazel said, lifting her hands. “Hey, hey, hey, stop talking! Shh! Listen to me!” She took his face in her hands, forcing him to look at her. “Look. You can’t control what’s going to happen. Maybe something will happen to me and it’ll hurt. But if you let yourself succumb to this worry, you’re going to guarantee that you’ll be miserable. Let yourself be happy. Let yourself be with me.”
Asterius’ shoulders lowered as the tension went out of him. “I can’t stop worrying,” he said.
“You don’t have to. But you can’t let it control your life.” Hazel lowered her hands. “I want to be with you. Do you want to be with me?”
Asterius gave a small nod. “I do.”
“Then let’s be together.” Hazel leaned across the table and pressed a kiss to his lips. Asterius leaned into her touch.
“Stay,” he said when she leaned back. “Stay with me. I know it’s only a vacation and you need to go home eventually, but just stay with me for a little longer.”
Hazel smiled. “Of course I will.” Asterius gave a relieved smile and leaned across the table to press his forehead to hers.
“I love you,” he whispered. Hazel smiled.
“I love you too.”
Cliché (shy!Reader x Might Guy, Part II)
Hi everyone! It makes me so happy to see that others enjoy my dumb little stories. Ngl I’m fairly self-conscious about my writing style, but I like writing it and people enjoy it so I’m happy! Anyway, Tumblr isn’t letting my post show up in the tags if I have a link, so part I is on my Masterlist pinned on my blog. Apologies for the inconvenience!
Tumblr media
“No, no… no, no, no, no… ” you muttered, head in your hands and grasping at your scalp. Your knees pulled to your chest as you sat in the hospital cot. You folded your body into a ball. You were mortified, horrified. Not only did you pass out, but your crush of a decade-long-plus carried you to the hospital. You could die. You kept repeating the words louder to yourself, “No, oh my god, oh my god...”
“It’s not so bad, (Y/N)-chan.” Kurenai reassured you in an attempt to sound nonchalant. She looked upon you in your overreacted state and moved an arm around your shoulder. She tried her best to give a reassuring smile. “You passed out from getting within a foot of Maito-Kun, so what?” Her wording only served to make you groan.
Kurenai was the only one you had ever told about your crush on Guy (not that most everyone else didn’t know already). She thought that you just should have talked to him in the academy days, but considering it took you this much time to work up the nerve, she supported your “casual walk” plan with resignation. But when she saw Guy carrying you to the hospital after “morning training”, she knew what must have happened. She sighed, luckily the training grounds were close to the hospital. She could only imagine what would have happened if you actually tried asking Might out of a date.
Now as you sit up in your hospital cot, she couldn’t help but hold back a snicker. She was of course going to be a supportive friend, even if this whole situation was ridiculous. You were passed out over Might Guy for Jashin’s sake! And to make matters worse, now you were stuck at the notoriously busy Konoha general all morning waiting for Shizune to come discharge you. You definitely reminded her of a certain student…
You raised your head, resting your chin on your knees. You sighed.
“I knew I couldn’t hold an actual conversation, but I didn’t think I’d actually pass out!” Kurenai couldn’t hold back a chuckle this time.
“It just means that you’ll do better next time for sure!” You give Kurenai a look of gratitude for her positivity, even if she was laughing a bit. The pit in your chest and burn on your cheeks wouldn’t clear up anytime soon, but the support of your friend was reassuring.
“I don’t know how the bar could be any lower,” you muttered. Kurenai looked sympathetically at you. Before she could comment, Shizune came through the door.
“I heard you overdid it training again?” she inquired in a slightly exasperated tone. You had a flashback to Guy. The hand on his chest. The toned muscle under his jumpsuit.
“Yep!” you blurted, “Just training! Nothing else!” Yeah, she didn’t believe that for a second.
“You have to take it easier,” she humored you, coming closer to check you for injury, “We can’t have you blacking out on the battlefield.”
“Yeah, I know,” you tell her, scratching your head sheepishly. You were relieved that people just thought you overworked yourself training. Unbeknownst to you, Shizune knew better. “One-time thing I promise!”
Shizune rolled her eyes before formally discharging you from Konoha General. Kurenai walked you out. The two of you chatted happily. It’s not all the time that busy shinobi like you have downtime to just shoot the breeze. However, that smile soon faded as you spotted Might Guy standing by the entrance. Great, Kurenai will have to catch you this time. You froze. He looked as if he just ran there as he stood by the gate stretching his quads. You couldn’t help but notice how handsome he looked in the golden evening glow.
You shook the thought out of your head and tried to move behind Kurenai. Quickly sensing your nervousness, Kurenai tugged you forward by the shirt. You flinched as you walked out of the hospital.
“Ah! Kurenai-san!” Guy exclaims, running up to the pair of you, “(Y/N)-san, I came to check on you after I finished my morning training!” He came back to check on you. You were touched, but your gratitude came off only as an awkward laugh.
“Which round, the third or fourth?” you inquired, too tense for it to come off as a full joke. Guy didn’t notice though.
“Ha! You got me there, (Y/N)-san!” His laugh was jolly. You always liked his laugh, it made you smile. You always liked that about his nature. You didn’t talk to Might Guy a lot, but when you did, no matter how awkward you were he always seemed happy to see you. A small blush formed on your cheeks.
Kurenai looked at you, then at Guy. Yep, definitely reminded her of a certain two students.
“Guy, you’re right on time! Perhaps you can walk (Y/N) home because I have to-” she paused- “Check up on my team, I promised! You’ll take care of her, won’t you Guy?”
You looked at Kurenai in acute terror.
“Of course I will!” Guy proclaimed, unaware of the exchange between yourself and your friend. Kurenai patted you on the shoulder as she walked out of the gates.
“Judas!” you hissed under your breath as she left. Kurenai smiled at you innocently. You’ll thank her later. You turned back to face Guy.
“Really Guy, I don’t want to put you out more than I already have.” You gestured towards him. “I was going to go to the market for dinner anyway! You probably have more training to do.”
Guy stood by your side, chest puffed and grin on his face. You smiled at his smile.
“Nonsense! Let me help you, (Y/N)-san!” He looks off to the side, looking a little dejected. “I also want to make sure you’re okay, ” he admits. His shoulders slump a bit, his confidence replaced with sheepishness and a slight pout. An adorable pout. “I can’t help but feel responsible… overwhelming you with the power of youth and all...” Yeah, youth… that was it.
“No, not at all, Guy-san!” you squeaked.
“So you’ll let me accompany you?” It was less of a question and more of an eager statement, but how could you say no? Guy pepped up right away as he dragged you out of the gates of Konoha General in the direction of the market.
You walked down the street together. You were content to listen as Guy spoke passionately about his training today and his students. His eyes lit up the more he spoke. There’s that passion you admired. There’s someone who loves what he does. Your shoulders relaxed as you two walked along. You laughed loudly at his exaggerated gestures. People were staring as the two of you walked passed. That was something you would have normally, self consciously noticed, but not this time. What you also didn’t notice, was the pure look of happiness that swept through Guy when you smiled.
“I hope I’m not boring you. Most people don’t let me go on about training for this long!” Guy confessed. You both stood at a stall in the market as you looked over vegetables.
“I-” you paused and met his gaze. Like hearing you speak? Like your passion? Enjoy being with you? Don’t understand how someone couldn’t enjoy being with you?- “I don’t mind.” You resumed picking your vegetables. Guy insisted on holding your bag for you. He chuckled.
“Well, I’m relieved.” He gave you a wink as you placed a vine of tomatoes in the bag. You quickly looked away, expecting him to continue talking about his team, but he didn’t. It wasn’t like him to be so silent. You glanced and saw his face was pensive. The both of you continued moving along. The paper throw-away bag he carried getting more and more full. He spoke your name.
“I hope you know that you can speak your mind.” You wavered. He continued, “You seem like you have something to say or you’re thinking about something. I just want you to know that you’re welcome to share that with me.”
Shocked, you hesitated. You couldn’t recall a time when anyone invited you to openly speak your mind. He wasn’t demanding of you impatiently, but encouraging. That was definitely a new one for you.
“You make everything sound so simple. I wish I was like you. I couldn’t do what you do,” you admitted. Everything was telling you to hold back and to stop speaking, but his words rolled around in your head. “I enjoy hearing about your team and your training, please tell me more.”
You never thought you would see the day that you had a full one-on-one conversation with Guy (especially at a relatively close proximity!), but today was that day. He indulged you as you walked back to your apartment, talking about whatever it was that you asked about. After all, you were content in your listening. Maybe today wasn’t so bad after all. You could definitely get used to this. It was new, but you liked it: the peace of mind his presence brought, how he never steamrolled you when you chimed in, laughing when the leaves of the celery stalks flew into his face. However, your conversation soon came to a close as you soon found yourselves in front of your front door. You thanked him for walking you home as he handed you your groceries. You felt like you should say something, but nervousness delayed you.
“Um… thank you, Guy-San,” you stammered.
“Of course! Anytime, (Y/N)-san.” he gave his signature thumbs up. You gulped, thinking about his words from the market. Was it that easy to tell how often you held back? You knew that at some point you would like to be a more open person, but fear often got in the way. You observed Guy and wanted to grow and he gave you the room. For someone so loud, not once did he interrupt you when you spoke. He was telling the truth; you’re welcome to share with him. He inspired you to be better, to reach your goals, and he didn’t even know it. So, at the risk of fainting again, you went for it.
“I enjoyed talking to you, perhaps we could do it again!” you anxiously exclaimed at a higher volume than you probably should have. Guy liked the energy, even if it was wrapped in nervousness.
“That’s a wonderful idea! Indeed we should!” he agreed.
You blanked the rest of the conversation. You didn’t even remember waving him off or stumbling into your apartment. The only thing you could think of was that you have to tell Kurenai.
