Heart & Soul Nebula - this is my normal processing on my 20 hour Heart & Soul project. As mentioned in my previous post, this is my longest project to date - my previous longest was 11.5 hours on the Rosette Nebula. I have been told that doing long projects with a One Shot Color (OSC) camera wouldn't make much difference, however I saw marked improvement in color, contrast, dust amd noise with each additional session. I am sure at some point there is diminishing returns, amd may even make it worse, but I do not know where that is yet. . The Soul Nebula - A reprocess of my data that I gathered in mid-January. The original image ended up being a top pick nominee on astrobin.com but also recieved some good criticism on the image's final histogram. I decided to go back and do some additional processing, mainly for the background, and ended up with this.
