This man has your back to the very end and is very protective. Your a hacker for the team and he makes sure you stay in that position, he's terrified that if you go out on the field you'd get shot or sent to jail.

He drinks a lot and so dose the other boys, but if you don't he'll never pressure you or let other people. “she doesn't drink, leave her the fuck alone”

He'll teach you how to play poker, he has a lot of fun and enjoys figuring out your little quirks and tendencys during the game.

If your practing for an actual game he be a tad bit less lenient. “Angel, you don't have a poker face”

You guys get a pit bull and it's the sweetest thing that's ever walked on the face of the earth. She is definitely your protector, but she's Rusty's shadow.

Your the only person he'll share his food with, he likes a woman that's not embarrassed to eat what they want.

He'd probably keep snacks in your bag incase he gets hungry during Danny's long ass meetings.

I seriously have no idea what this could mean. We know that we don't have contact with the group anymore. And we also know that out case was everywhere on the news. So the question is, what did they say there? What kind of information did they share which made Charlie belive he can help us?

I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with Jake. Ash told us they never mentioned Jake. But this could also be a lie since I don’t really trust her yet.

I could maybe imagine that the group... Even if I don't know if it makes much sense... But maybe our lovely friends had to join Phil in prison, lol.

At the end of Duskwood, Jessy tells make MC that she had a boyfriend but it wasn't a very good relationship.

And I mean, why was that mentioned? Sure it fitted the story but what if there's more behind it..

What if... What if Jessys ex is one of the new guys? And that's why there's a connection with duskwood? 🤔

Could that be? I mean, it sounds unlikely, even to me. But somehow... 🤔

Of course I was hoping it has something to do with Jake but I don't really think that's how it is. Not everything can be about him and it would rarely have to do with the Duskwood group.

But maybe Charlie has a connection with one of them. Maybe Dan or Thomas? Oh, maybe Thomas? As I remember correctly, Thomas did not grow up in duskwood.

But then again, Charlie's shock when he realises that we're the MC from Duskwood.. I mean, would you still react this way when you know someone who was also part of it?

And also, Ash seems to know as well that Charlie can help us. Otherwise he wouldn't have asked it this way.

PERSONA 5 TACTICA IS NOT GREAT: A VERY ODDLY-CONSTRUCTED RANT

Pt. 2: The Phantom Thieves With No Heart

We'll start things off by bringing up what I said earlier about the characters and how I don't think the vast majority of them are any good, with only the three exceptions mentioned previously.

"But wait," I might hear you ask. "You said two out of the three were Futaba and Yusuke. Does that imply that the rest of the thieves aren't as good by comparison?"

And to that, I say, ".......yes."

I don't know what happened here, but the Phantom Thieves aren't Phantom Thieve-ing. And by that, I mean, not only are they written rather bland, but they contribute almost *nothing* to the plot, outside of the obvious combat segments that are just there for gameplay's sake. They might have a *few* moments here or there, but when I say "few", I MEAN "few".

To make things easier in order to get my point across, I'm gonna go down the list of Phantom Thieves that aren't Futaba and Yusuke, starting with:

ANN TAKAMAKI

I'm gonna be honest here: I can't think of a *single* moment Ann had any relevance or contribution to the plot or any character development outside of when she was brainwashed by Marie at the beginning of the game, and even then, you could make the same argument for every other thief that wasn't Morgana or Joker.

There's also the aforementioned Samurai scene, but it's there to run the same joke of, "Ann's a terrible actress". I will admit, it is funny, and Yusuke saves it by spinning it to say she's wasted, but my point still stands. And as I've stated, this is one of two optional scenarios, so you might not even see this scene.

At least in Strikers, Ann gets the first arc, where she relates to and sympathizes with Alice Hiragi, our first antagonist. Tactica leaves her out to dry.

Also, in the first arc, Toshiro constantly brings up her leather suit, and it gets old and uncomfortable real fast.

So, yeah. Ann gets nothing. She loses.

MORGANA

Morgana is the same old same old, but that isn't saying much, because....it's Morgana. He serves as your tutorial guy for the beginning, while constantly correcting people that he is indeed not a cat (except that he is, don't deny what is the truth).

The only thing I can compliment him on is how he calls Lavenza "Miss Lavenza". I don't know, it's cute. It shows how much he respects her (don't know if I should call them siblings, considering Morgana's origins).

Aside from that, I really have nothing else to say about Morgana. I never liked Morgana to begin with, and that still holds true in Tactica.

MAKOTO NIIJIMA

Makoto has never really been my favorite Phantom Thief by any stretch of the definition, but even I can tell that they did her dirty here.

Once again, she does nothing for character growth or plot, and is left for some cheap jokes that usually result in her threatening someone's life. I can only think of *one* time she did something for the plot, which was ask Futaba to hack into Yoshiki's cameras to show the citizens what the camps have been doing to the people taken there.

But aside from that, that's all Makoto really contributes....

...which makes it all the more aggravating when you remember that Makoto's supposed to be the TACTICIAN of the group!

EVEN THE GAME SAYS SO!!

But you want to know the real kicker here? While Makoto doesn't do any strategizing, you know the characters that DO?

Toshiro and FUTABA!

Okay. To an extent, I get Toshiro. But Futaba? She's the HACKER. I mean, in regards to what she should hack and the timing of it, I understand, but not full-on strategy on the WHOLE operation! And even if you want to include Futaba into this, why not include Makoto as well?? If you want to push the idea that she's the strategist of the Phantom Thieves, then have her participate in this discussion!! I love Futaba as much as the next guy, but it's clear to me the writers or someone on the writing team *really* liked Futaba.

What I'm trying to say is, just give Makoto her role back, man! Because apart from that one moment (plus her losing her cool at an aizen during the Samurai/Geisha scene), she really has nothing else.

HARU OKUMURA

Okay, in all fairness, even in the first game, Haru really didn't have much going on. There's a reason "Haru Didn't Get Enough Screen Time" became a meme. She was only ever relevant for the Okumura arc, where she teams up with Morgana during his split with the PT, and after some running around and whining, he makes up, and Haru joins, wanting to change her father's heart. Then he dies, she gets sad over it, and she then proceeds to just fade in the background for the rest of the game.

That isn't to say Haru wasn't a good character. She was decent. The problem is, due to her lack of screen time and contribution (and Morgana), she never really had a chance to develop as a character, especially with her comrades. I'd argue that if you took her out of the original game, the thieves' dynamic and the story as a whole wouldn't change by much.

Then Strikers swooped in and saved her character. Due to the nature of it being a sequel, the game understands that we don't need to reintroduce the characters again, and just lets them have fun. And boy, did they have fun with Haru. Not only did she get two funny running gags - one of which being paid off through means of her almost killing her friends - but she gets an entire arc focused on her, where she reconnects with an old friend that has lost her way due to guilt and blackmail. It's so touching, and shows just how much Haru has grown as a character from the first. Screw the Okumura arc, replace it with the Sapporo arc! Also, she's terrifying.

I was then expecting Tactica to follow through with this, giving us a very adorable, yet sadistic floof ball. But... no.

Just like everybody else here, she serves no purpose to the plot; she's been soul-sucked, giving zero laughs or character development whatsoever-

Okay, that's a semi-lie, because she actually has one scene.

While infiltrating Marie's castle, the gang come across a room, where a projector plays a video of real-life Marie treating Toshiro like crap, even calling him her "puppet". It's here where Toshiro remembers that Marie is his fiance arranged to him by his father, who only did it to boost his political career (and money) due to Marie being the daughter of a rich ceo to a conglomerate.

Marie, however, as shown in the video, has never cared for Toshiro, and only agrees to marry him in order to gain the status and power as a wife to a prime minister.

It's here where Haru begins to empathize with Toshiro's plight, having also gone through the hell of being forced into an arranged marriage with a horrible human being for the sake of the family business.

It's great that the game acknowledges this similarity and uses it to have two of our characters relate to their hardships and grow together as a result.....for this one exchange.

Those four screenshots I showed? This is the only time Haru ever talks about this with Toshiro, or has a moment like this with him. 'Cause after she says this, it's never brought up again. It's such a waste, too, because they could've done something here, but they chose not to. And for what?

Okay, okay! There's ANOTHER moment Haru has in this game. And it's in a Quest she has with Yusuke, where she tries to test Milady's psio powers to drag enemies to her so she can easily take them out due to her axe being heavy to carry around. After the quest, she reveals that when she was a child, she used to try chopping wood in the garden. When her father found out, he got angry and told her not to do it again. In an act of rebellion, she continued in secret. She later found out through one of her helpers that her father had known she was still doing it. Yusuke and Joker conclude that it was probably her father's way of showing his affection and kindness towards her, with Haru agreeing, saying that that's why she's attached to her axe, for it's a reminder of her courage and when her father wasn't a crazed lunatic was kind.

I honestly love this quest for this story. We get to learn more about Haru, and even add a little more nuance into Okumura before he formed a palace, making Haru's determination to change his heart, and sadness when he died make more sense.

I just wish we got to see more of this in the main plot rather than a side quest. Can-

RYUJI SAKAMOTO

*Sniff* Ryuji....what did they do to you, man?

I keep beating a dead horse here, but Ryuji serves no purpose outside of being the comic relief half the time when Toshiro isn't available to be the resident punching bag. And even then, I can't think of a single funny moment Ryuji had in this game, apart from that one quest, where him and Makoto bring back a box from town square, only for it to contain a bunch of Yoshiki merch, and everyone pawns it off on him. BUT THAT'S IT!

And it saddens me because it's RYUJI! If not for Zenkichi, Ryuji would be THE best boi to me. Both P5 and P5S gave him so much, usually being the best part of both games for me. And it's not just because he was funny (although he is). He always had the gang's back and would risk everything for them, like when he almost died when trying to get the thieves a lifeboat when Shido's palace was collapsing (we don't talk about the aftermath of that). In Strikers, he stands up to and screams at a disembodied voice in order to defend Sophia, whom he considered as a dear friend, especially given the voice was calling her worthless and purposeless - something he's heard other people call him all his life (I hate it when people boil this scene down to, "He sAiD tHe F-bOMb, gUys!", 'cause there's more to it).

So, with all that said, these examples puts more a perspective of just how butchered he was in this game, since he's never given a moment like this. The closest we get is of a Memo stating he's like this, but we don't see it in action. He's just....THERE. And that's the worst you can be as a character.

Much like everyone else, he gets nothing of importance. Nothing, except some Yoshiki merch.

REN AMAMIYA / AKIRA KURUSU / PEEPEE POOPOO / BABY GIRL / HARRY MOBUS-

(You know what? For the sake of no discourse on the canon name, we'll be referring to him by his codename, ironically the only canon name he has.)

As the silent protagonist, you might think I wouldn't have much to say about Joker. But that's where you're wrong.

Ever since P3, despite their roles as the silent protagonists, each one always gave an air of personality.

Makoto Yuuki (P3 Protag) always went with the flow, giving off an "I don't care" attitude, with a side of depression, for he didn't seem to fear death.

Yu Narukami (P4 Protag) was a friendship-loving chad, who'd do anything for his little cousin, Nanako, and always strived to unveil the truth.

And then there's Joker. While appearing to be an average student, he's really a showboating trickster (God himself even gives him the nickname of 'Trickster'), who isn't afraid to joke around, even when the situation is dire. He'd do anything for his friends and strives to change society for better, even if society views him as the villain.

This personality carries over in Strikers, as you can see in both the way he acts in cutscenes, and a vast majority of his responses throughout the game:

So, when transitioning to Tactica, I guess Joker lost his personality along the way because, my God, is he boring in this game.

While I can tell you almost every funny dialogue option Joker has in P5 and P5S, I can't think of a single one here. Almost all of them boil down to the same generic answer, with no charisma or back-talking Joker's known for.

But, nothing, flippin' NOTHING, holds a candle to the most annoying thing they added to Joker. It was something I noticed the first hour or so into the game, and then proceeded to play a little game with myself to see how many times it happens. And it happened EVERY DANG TIME!

You see, at the end of every cutscene Joker's involved in (so, almost all of them), he does this nodding animation to close it off, and I don't know if I should find it funny or annoying.

That's all he does. He NODS!!

JUST-

....how did you butcher Joker?

WHY ARE THE PHANTOM THIEVES HERE?

No, really. Why are they here?

Heck, the game throughout constantly asks the question of why the thieves were dragged into the world of the Kingdoms, but at the end of the game, never provides a concrete answer.

Salmael does state that his offer of salvation "is not limited to [Toshiro]", but the fact he's doing all of this in Toshiro's mind tells me he had no intention of dragging the thieves in to begin with, and was only ever focused on Toshiro (I'll complain about that when I get to Toshiro).

You could make the argument that the reason they were dragged in was because they were in LeBlanc when it happened, and LeBlanc is supposed to be Toshiro's safe haven in his mind. But then, why drag Lavenza and the WHOLE VELVET ROOM then?? Doesn't that just give the thieves more firepower, since Lavenza can provide Persona fusions, and later, FIREARMS?? Why didn't he also drag in Igor, since Lavenza states she was intentionally dragged away from him when it all happened??? WHAT'S THE POINT OF THE THIEVES BEING THERE, APART FROM JUST BEING TOSHIRO'S UNPAID THERAPISTS?!

I'll tell you why! It's so they could label this as a Persona 5 game! And that's all she wrote!

It just disappoints me, because I like the PT, and to have them be watered down to this leaves me feeling...empty. And sad. And depressed.

And this is just the OLD characters. I haven't even gotten to the NEW ones! I won't be discussing them for the next few parts, but just know: I have a lot to say about them, and none of it is good.

What a lousy day. At the Marine Corps boot camp, there was a core group of us who provided healthcare for roughly 30,000 recruits (annually). We all shared roughly the same duty stations around the world both before and after the tour in San Diego. Same places, same dangers. We six. Three have all received the same diagnosis. This morning, I woke to the news that Ken has passed. You need to understand that when bad things happened, we were the ones called. The job was to save lives, but death was always hovering over us. We developed a dark sense of humor. So, for Ken, who shared a patient waiting room with me, he worked Sports Medicine and I was stuck in Podiatry (sorry Steve). At boot camp, if a recruit’s name was called, he was to pop to attention. Ken grabbed a record, stood at the doorway with me as I called my next, he called his. His jumped up and then there was a loud”POP!” And the kid fell to the floor screaming. One of the most dangerous fractures you can get is a Femoral Neck Fracture. The kid came in with a complaint of constant hip pain. He jumped up and broke his femur at the neck. This, is a life/limb threatening fracture that requires immediate treatment. It was an Oh Shit! moment. We called the medical emergency, got him packaged up and taken nearly straight to the OR. After the fact, we both laughed hysterically. The kids (recruits) all thought we’d lost our damned minds. Lots of one leg/peg leg/Ilene jokes.

Ken (AKA as Clark Kent) died of leukemia. One of those I trained (Leif) has it. As one starts to lose the battle, they stop communicating with the group. I messaged Ken last month to check in on him. No response. Leif, I messaged two months ago. His wife to him to the Florida Keys. She took him back to the Mayo Clinic. No more word on Leif.

It was Don’s turn to teach this morning. Don didn’t make it to class. Both Ricky and I had studied the lesson a few weeks back and had agreed that if Don wasn’t present, that we would share the job of teaching it. Ricky lost track of time. We had to cover 60 lines. Over a 35 minute period, he’d covered 6. His hearing aid battery died and so while he was fussing with that, I jumped in and instead of going line by line, I summarized and plowed through all of it about 5 lines at a time. In ASL (American Sign Language), the syntax is tense, subject, noun, verb. Toss out all worthless/filler words: the, it, is, etc.. It’s quite a trick to read aloud in English and sign it at the same time. I suffer a kind of dyslexia. I am ambidextrous so I don’t really have a dominant hand (required for ASL). I sometimes sign things backwards. So, throw that into the mix and then be pushed for time and suddenly, the serious becomes a circus. I got through it all without losing anyone hearing or deaf.

Lastly, we arrived home and we received a delivery. Deliveries are left on the front porch - nothing unusual about that. Mrs. Doc and our youngest went to Walmart so she could get her nails done. I caught the last 20 laps of the Indy car race. Waiting for the NASCAR race to start, I went to the front door to bring in what I believed would be another Amazon order, I was surprised to find a delivery of groceries from Walmart. Mrs. Doc NEVER orders her groceries. She loves shopping and putting hands on. I messaged her to ask if she’d ordered. No immediate response, so I grabbed a couple of bags - none of it was stuff she would purchase, carried those bags to the neighbors’ house to see if maybe they’d ordered and the delivery made a mistake. Not hers either. Carried them back to my porch and then got a message from the youngest. Her account was hacked. Over $800 hacked. And as if that was not enough, the hacker was ordering more. It took numerous phone calls to shut down the hackers (pleural). Airline tickets to 2 different airlines, purchases all over the country. They got all of her passwords. We have/had over $150,000 in the bank. What a fiasco. And, Walmart required us to drive their groceries back to the store. I have not made an online purchase on my account in over five years. The only business with whom I work is a supply company out of Corona, Ca. and Peachtree, Georgia. They specialize in aircraft materials. It’s sometimes annoying to her, but if I defer all purchases to her, it minimizes confusion regarding how much is in the account and the risk of more cards and information.

So, that was my day. Glad it’s over.

BACKGROUND

Lucia was not oblivious. She knew what was going on. She heard the whispers when she tried to make friends at school, what they would say about her family. She put the dots together eventually. Assassins. Murderers.

There was pressure, she could tell. Her father wanted her to learn and Elias fought against it. Safe. Or so she thought. She pretended to be ignorant of the things going on around her, but she was smarter than that. Real smart. She taught herself to hack first by getting into her father's computer to learn things but she didn't stop there. By the time she was 15, she could get into the Pentagon if she wanted to.

But also at the age of 15, her world tilted once more. A sweet morning, Elias making breakfast, she ran into her room to get changed for the day only to come back and find him gone. Never to be seen again. "He abandoned us, Mia Sol" "He left our familiar behind. He left us." Her father twisted the lies in deep for a heartbroken teen. The betrayal of her brother abandoning her never healed.

No. Not when his absences were her downfall. "You missed too much training. I should have never listened to that traitor" Because without him around, someone had to become the family killer. Lucia was thrown into training for long days. Months at a time. "we need to make up for lost time." her father would say. They pushed her hard, turning her into the killer she was always meant to be.

They made it so nothing could break her. Forced her to remove her feelings, to be lethal with no regrets, to see everyone as a target, to trust no one. All while she was creating a life of her own on the web.

The measures in which they took to prepare her were gruesome. She was beaten tortured, tested, and raped to ensure she would be a stone-cold killer, the perfect soldier. What her brother never was. Her father continued to fill her head with lies about Elias the the hatred boiled over. He did this to her. He left her behind for this to happen.

By the time she was 18, she was ready to go out on jobs. She would work in the dead of night, many doubted her being as small as she is but she proved to be lethal every time. She was wracking up kills while her father cashed in the money. There was on contract she had been saving, waiting for the time to come. She was going to kill her brother.

As the body count rose, she felt every last shred of humanity start to leave her body and she knew she needed to get out. In her early days, she had made connections to a skilled hacker and she reached out once more. She spent months in contact with him, devising a plan and also hunting down her brother. She knew how to run, cover her tracks and now she knew where to go. New York City. It just so happened her hacker mentor just happened to be there as well. And so she did it. She ran off and made her way to NYC.

She has been in NYC for a few months studying her brother's movements, patterns, and connections. The crimson would make a mean enemy but she was prepared for that. Now it was time to strike.

Saeyoung's ended up being one of the longest. I had as much difficulty classpecting him as I did with Zen.

Personality/General Info: Outwardly, outgoing, cheerful, and bizarre. He pranks Yoosung and makes fun of everyone (including himself). Jokester. Likes cars, cats, and hacking. Inwardly, he is depressed and serious and thinks nothing good will happen to him. Afraid to endanger people due to his job and past. Will express affection to MC when convinced that she accepts him for who he is. At the end of the route, he returns to who he is but toned down. Like a mix of both. Catholic. Is a genius hacker, and can be very logical at times. Likes to crossdress and is canonically attracted to both men and women! Loves space, constantly talking about going to the moon during Christmas DLC.

Seven wanted to change his future. When he and his twin were hidden from the world due to his Prime Minister father, he took it upon himself to learn hacking from a book, and promised Saeran they would run away together. Took on a new name when he started working as a hacker. Was not allowed to take Saeran. He refused at first, but after a lot of convincing from V, left Saeran with them.

LOVES Saeran. So much. In the SEs, he still takes care of him even when he tries to kill him. Wants to protect everyone in the RFA which is why he doesn’t let them get too close to him beyond the happy-go-lucky surface. Made a twitter bot to post Zen’s selfies. He wants to help Zen’s career. Good friends with Yoosung, playing pranks on him all the time. Jaehee is exasperated with him, but she acknowledges that he is a genius and does care about him. Jumin is displeased by the way he treats Elly, but still cares about his well being.

He constantly tries to protect others. His twin Saeran from his mother. MC from the hacker threat. Tries to protect the whole RFA by not divulging his identity. Seven used to be a serious workaholic with a robotic personality who studied during the day, worked at night, and barely slept. This all changed when Seven received a floppy disk with Saeran's smiling photographs on his 20th Birthday from Rika, showing how happy Saeran was after Seven left.

Role in Narrative: He is always the one fending off the hacker trying to get into the RFA app. Is connected to V and Rika. His role is huge in the main story, the SEs being largely about the twins as well as V/Rika.

Active or Passive: In his route he actively goes to the apartment and confronts Unknown. His character conflict is balancing between protecting people and keeping them at a distance. This makes him severely depressed and lonely. He deprives himself from the things he wants, doing things to benefit others and push them away if that protects them. He is passive because everything he does is for others.

For Saeyoung I will present the Class, then the Aspect, then I will explain how it all applies to him.

Classpect - Knight of Space: One who serves Space, or serves through Space for others.

This is what the Hiveswap Extended Zodiac has to say about the Space Aspect:

"Those bound to the aspect of Space are, as the name suggests, concerned with the big picture. They are patient, masters of the art of 'wait-and-see', and are inclined to take things as they come. That isn't to say that they're pushovers or willing to let injustice lie-they just choose their battles wisely, understanding that sometimes you have to let something burn to the ground in order to build it back better and stronger than before. I personally think Space symbolizes distance, isolation, size, shape, creation and growth.

How this all applies to Saeyoung: HE’S A KNIGHT OF SPACE AHHHHHH As a Knight, Saeyoung would be lacking Space in his story. When he was a child, he lived in a cramped house with his twin and mother. If you consider the beginning of his story to be when he’s in his 20s, his bunker is messy, space taken up by junk. He is the most isolated RFA member physically and emotionally distant (we aren’t counting V). He puts up a front as a jokester, which isn’t a complete lie, but he is hiding his true self. He’s a secret agent with a dangerous job, with a twin brother out there that he needs to protect and is hiding from his father who wants to kill him. Of course, he is going to keep a deliberate distance. Before MC joins the RFA we don’t see Saeyoung in many pictures with the RFA, an example being during Yoosung’s graduation where he couldn’t attend due to being abroad. He is vague and mysterious.

Also Saeyoung’s outfits. I argue he’s the member we see with the most outfit variation. We could word this in another way: he changes his physical form/way he looks constantly. The outfits he wears are sometimes even bizarre. We find out he has to crossdress for his job as a secret agent, and often as a woman due to his small stature. A tendency to be found within Space Players is changing their physical form/look to reach their ideal selves. This is sort of reflected at the end of 707’s route, with him discarding his hoodie and going for white and black shirts, symbolizing his shift in personality (from 707/Luciel to just Saeyoung). Basically, he reaches his ideal form/self by the end of everything in the SEs. This is permanently reflected in his being referred to as Saeyoung Choi from now on.

Another connection he has to space is his love for cats. He loves Elizabeth the 3rd and wants to foster life, a recurring theme with Space players. They are in charge of creating the Genesis Frog, after all. But he’s bad at it, only hurting Elly whenever he’s near her. He builds robot cats and dogs instead, an artificial form of life. When it comes to the dog robot, I believe he builds things when he’s stressed out. He builds the cat for MC and it detects when someone is stressed and goes to comfort them. Again, Saeyoung made something to benefit someone else, and it is an artificial form of life. Perhaps a part of him creates these toys out of loneliness, due to how many years he spent separated from Saeran. This is a constant theme for Space, to be distanced from the people they love either willingly or by fate.

He experiences true and utter loneliness for a period of time. We hear about this from Vanderwood, and how before he received that floppy disk from Rika with the pictures of Saeran, he used to be a robot working day and night. No emotions. Usually, for Space players, this isolation needs to happen so that they gain a deeper understanding of Space. This understanding would help them work toward reaching their ideal selves.

Another way Saeyoung is distanced from everyone is his genius status as a hacker, mechanic, and his interests. Jaehee and Zen are mostly confused by his jokes and antics. Jumin and Saeyoung share their love for cats, but Saeyoung’s treatment of Elly puts a wedge between them. Yoosung and Saeyoung both like LOLOLOL but Saeyoung is a better player, and has a lot going for him outside of it. He is an eccentric person with abilities and interests that can seem unusual (cross-dressing and being a genius programmer). This isolates him from normal people.

The Space imagery going on with him, too, adds to this. He is surrounded by this Aspect constantly. His character arc in the end is beating this loneliness and isolation by reaching out to MC. This then further breaks his isolation by closing the distance between himself and everyone he loves (RFA and Saeran). He acts as a Knight of Space by Serving Space to others. Namely, giving Space between himself and others for their safety.

I think that this is a struggle for the Space bond, they are adept with things within their reach, taking direct and physical action. If it's out of their reach, it is near impossible for them to do anything. He has limited reach over things that are not his domain due to his father hunting him, causing him to become isolated. The things within his domain (programming, building robots, secret agent stuff) he takes direct and physical action. Stuff other than that, it's basically impossible for him to have.

Knights utilize their Aspect earlier compared to other classes, just like how Saeyoung was able to pick up programming rather quickly. He uses his programming to serve the RFA. He works for the agency for Saeran’s sake, and you could argue that programming requires some level of creativity, where you have to adapt with your coding. Space is about growth and creation, taking something that is already there and making it into something new. You could argue the process of working with code as a programmer requires Saeyoung to do just that. He also does this with the dog robot/toys. Growth for Space includes physical and emotional, and we see this in his route. Saeyoung grows to realize that distancing himself from MC Isn’t the way to protect her, and is just hurting her more. Finding out V lied to him, Saeyoung comes to realize what is truly important to him. He repairs the cat robot he made for MC (Space, Space, Space) and they vow to go off to save Saeran. He adopts his real name by that point, symbolizing his growth. He now wants to save and protect the RFA, MC, and Saeran (Knight, Knight, Knight).

EDIT: Also as a Knight of Space, even the career that Saeyoung wants is connected to his role. He tells MC in his route that he wants to become a toy maker. Creation is one of the facets of Space, and making toys and selling them is basically him Serving Space.

He completes his journey as the Knight of Space in the SEs, ultimately getting a happy ending. He triumphed over the antagonistic forces within the narrative and broke away from the isolation plaguing the Space bond. He reaches his ideal self and changes his name to Saeyoung Choi.

Now that we did the 5 main routes, the next posts will get into the antagonists of MM! Saeran was... very difficult to classpect to say the least.

i dicided to make a christmas character take

so for this christmas on tumblr i dicided to make a take on any character from a christmas movie or cartoon. i,m thinking of home alone and the character i,m choosing is kevin mccallister.

so for cannon. kevin is the youngest in the mcallister family tormented and possibly bullied by his own family and feels like they hate him and therefore want them gone. he got his wish for Christmas's until he defeated the we bandits then they come back until he has to run when he heres buzz mad at what he did to his room.

so as for my take i,m taking the timeline to the modern 21st centry.

for this is i am obessed right now about hackers and i found a hackers road map video and so it includes I.T (information technology), A+, security, networking, linux, and coding and then start hacking.

so in this one kevin somehow was able to get himself a laptop and was just doing stuff on it watching videos on youtube and playing games lets say roblox (cause thats my favriot gaming platform).

but then hed stumble upon something. while playing a game, he noticed a glitch and wonderd what it was and saw it again the server crashed and kevin and other players (some of them were youtubers) were not happy. it turns out the game got hacked and kevin wonderd what that was. this would trigger something kevin never thought would happen to him but as he looked up hacking tools he had one geuss from what he quickly lerned as a script kiddie and tried out linux and other things he soon got to know everything about hacking in 1 second having written a computer virus he in a split second after a launched a virus lerned how to hack in a moment as well as command prompt and other hacking tools as he used them to quickly make a virus on not only the computer but also a cell phone. the police came on the door as it became known to kevin that he made something and read what he wrote. it was a line of code. thats when he looked at linux and cmd (command prompt) and saw what he wrote without anything no syntax error no nothing and found out what he did. he imidently gained how to do all this in one moment and with it a full understanding of how internet works and ect of what hackers use as well as an advanced. kevin in that moment lerned how to do all programming languages some way some how and his machine and cpu. hed go on to make himself a hacker kit used for a laptop computer disinged to do all linux and other stuff and a cell phone and tools for hacking as well as lerning how to binary code (the combonation code of 1s and 0`s for ex: 10011101010011001100101011001)

without even knowing what he was doing or lerning until the police came and left when the coast was clear and the virus was gone as kevin somehow imbeded it. thats when he came to know and realized what hed done. without knowing it he had servers he made for both cell phone and computer witch he lerned to be hacker on both tech`s. he lerned the new computer and new cell phone for assembly and other things not knowing what happened but that very night as he though and looked at his code like thing thats when he realized he lerned hacking quicly. its unknown how kevin lerned hacking that fast and then did vanilla all programming languages and vanilla linux and cmd as he saw what happened he became a grey hat after declaring neutrality in the cyber battlefield but soon began engaging in a mixture of ethical acts but also malicous activity thought most of it was thankfully ethical. eventually overnight somehow it made sense to kevin as he soon wrote code encrypting his information compleatly and made his own internet and wifi and vpn ect his computer and phone had stuff in them generating inf amount of both electricity and coolant. allowing him to work forever though he doesnt.

later he got a black hoodie with the hacker symbol on it. his hacker kit is basicly a suit case but silver metal and is so small its compact and has mettal techy straps and can be tightened and fliped for work while walking or to just carry it on back end or front artifically (most of the time, the front).

kevin now works as a grey hat hacker in this timeline tech version of home alone. this time he wont be left alone in the house though however the police had already seen the wet bandits and put them in jail and they wont escape until kevin and his family come back home from paris.

kevin is still harrassed by the older siblings so instead he stays in his own room and keeps himself as isolated from his entire family as possible as long as possible. knowing the typical reactions they have to him he doesnt bother coming out except for breakfest lunch, dinner, event, or holiday (even those times he takes his hacker moible desk as he calls it or H.M.D, with him and back to his room whenever keep in mind that its always with him no matter the circumstance)

its compact enough for him to keep whereever he finds himself and it works cause he made a chip generating inf wifi its own wifi and can connect to towers anywhere even in the middle of nowhere or on a plane but big enough to hold all his stuff (its equal for compact mobility and reliability and stuff holding and is still light wieght to).

this is my take on kevin known as hacker kevin. his technology art however hasnt gone unnoticed by the older siblings who often could if they have the chance accuse him of doing crime through technology though its always proven ethical no matter the circumstance as there is no way to proove to the parents.

its also said sence kevin isolates himself for the greater good his kid friends are also hackers as well. he can do the dark web and stuff. he has his own hacker library and on a plane or in public he doesnt say anything and rather minds his own busniss and igorns the older siblings as they are more likly to typicly harrass him so instead hes away though on a plane he can be forced to. he minds crypto for money witch gets him rich alot and he knows other responsiblities. even if home alone kevin is calm and easily defeats the bandits and hangs around his hacker friends who are about justice.

Kevin can be sometimes darkened and burdened by his hacker knowledge. He packs his own suit case himself as doesn't need others to pack it for him should it otherwise risk his secret identity as a hacker being discovered and one thing leads to another and next thing you know after discovered its now exposed to his entire family. Especially buzz sence buzz is a total jerk Kevin ignores and ditches buzz on purpose cause why mess with a jerk.

One time he faced a black hat hacker in front of everyone exposed once they saw what he was doing the hacker talked to Kevin about the code he wrote and all the things he did as a hacker with everyone listening the black hat hacker told Kevin to look at the line of code he wrote and what it did. Kevin looked at the code read it and saw what happened and it hit him he learned a long term thing in such a way that for him it was a short term deal and Kevin said "but how". That's when it hit Kevin he knew how to hack. Kevin explained a part of him knew what it was doing but as for the rest of him it's like he's just mindlessly typing nonsense and just somehow it messed with the server for some reason but with this his mind has exploded to great knowledge of what he's doing now. The hacker said to Kevin "it's your intelligence Kevin deep in your mind you know what your doing and it makes sense now your one of us what people know as the hacker the cyberpunk" Kevin leaped up and shooted at the screen to the hacker he would never be like him but the hacker insisted that he already is the code he wrote has wrecks the victims computer or phone with malware and randomware imbeds the code and tracking evidence with hello world. Kevin in utter guilt can't think of how to hack anymore as the fight continued the siblings tried to convince Kevin that he must continue while buzz watched in silence. Eventually Kevin taps into his hacker part finds it and activates it as it explodes throughout his entire mind and Kevin defeats the hacker after getting lost in the code. Then they come home the wet cyber bandits as it is in this timeline are defeated as well. Witch hacker Kevin in lost in new York is where Kevin makes his own credit card and it has the crypto currency he has so in this time line he isn't left behind in the home alone one but he is in lost in new York where he sets up his hotel room the crypto currency he uses for his money in his Bitcoin miner is run by a program for his gain to get things like food water etc. the wet cyber bandits known as the sticky cyber bandits are also not that great as kevin easily defeats them as soon as they try to launch their revenge cyber attack on a white hat hacker that got them in prison and kevin puts them back there again.

In end he packs his stuff up and goes all the way Florida easy for him he just networks into his mom's phone and sees where their at and buys a ticket to go there by airplane he arrives at the hotel his mom is at and finds the room there in and knocks as the mom answers and sends him to the room buzz is at Kevin however reminds her that buzz could be a jerk and explains the problem he has with him so instead he sleeps with 2 of his older sisters has his own bed there witch he sleeps in.

over all hacker kevin my take is a complex and a guy who strangly lern something that takes years to lern as quick as a moment somehow.

☆ Unknwn is probably the gangliest motherfucker in the agency. He is not physically strong, even though he likes to pretend he is. ☆ I don’t think he ever takes off his coat. He sleeps, works, travels, and eats in that coat. As a matter of fact, it’s barely ever been washed. Unless he spills something on the majority of it or it gets really dirty, he will always keep it on. Being away from it causes him great anxiety.

☆ Briar used to play "the can game" with his siblings. Basically, they would throw cans at the next door neighbors’ kids and if they hit their face, head, or neck, they would win. This was not very popular with any of their neighbors. Bellatrix usually always won, with Blythe being a close second.

☆ Dreadelle claims to see the dead! How crazy is that? Being a half alive doll corpse really suspends disbelief, though. Everyone just believes her when she tells them about an encounter she had with Straws or Rabecca, or whatever other ghost she’s seen.

She claims she’s going to make a powerful super weapon for only the agency to use, without the control "of the big bosses in charge up there." The way she has described said weapon is… sinister.

☆ Cadmium does some funny little cannibalism sometimes. He’s just hungry. Lately he has been trying to curb these urges by biting down on metal with his sharp ass teeth, and fortunately it has worked for the time being. He stays in the attic above the agency, but who knows what he’s doing in there. It smells like copper up there.

☆ Mister G.L. is the local nurse and he is 100% always whacked out on sleeping pills. He has built up so much resistance to the sleep-inducing chemicals that all they do is keep him awake. Which is great! Because the agency medical office is constantly flooded with injured patients, and he could never leave someone hurt. Recently, a blockchain security and research firm, Nansen, reported a security breach. People, who follow the updates of the crypto space, it is nothing new. However, every hacking or phishing attack has some repercussions. This one has not gone unnoticed, as it affected a prominent third-party vendor. OpenSea, a popular NFT marketplace, didn’t take very long to react to this.   OpenSea Reacting To The Security Breach OpenSea has issued a statement warning its customers about the safety of their API keys. The security breach that happened at Nansen highlighted the significance of API security. The incident resulted in impacting the data of 6.8% of its users. Notably, it impacted a third-party vendor that manages data of several Fortune 500 companies. Hence, many are not taking this incident seriously.  This security breach could have serious ramifications even if no assets were lost. It also questions the credibility of blockchain security providers. Another concerning fact is that the hackers gained access to admin rights to an account. That account also facilitated the customers’ access to the platform.  However, the reaction of OpenSea has left many crypto users puzzled. They wonder if the NFT marketplace also became a victim of a data security breach. While it gave no such information, the platform sent a warning email to its users. According to an X (Twitter) post by a pseudonymous user, MatriXBT, some of OpenSea’s API keys have been compromised.   MatriXBT said the NFT platform sent an email to its users informing them about a security breach. As per the email, some of its API keys have been compromised. The email said it won’t affect users’ integration with the platform. Still, the hackers who have gained access to the keys will undoubtedly use it. Thus, it advised them to generate new API keys.  It should be noted that OpenSea’s current keys will expire on October 2, 2023. The platform assured users the new keys would have the same rate limits and permissions. The NFT marketplace has not released an official statement about the security breach. Regardless, many crypto users believe that the security breach indeed happened.  What Do Crypto Users Want? Reacting to the rumors, another anonymous crypto enthusiast shared a post on X . He said that cyber assaults like these put the security of cryptocurrency projects in question. They also need to double down on their security measures and readiness to counteract such attacks. Another X user urged the marketplace to be more proactive and transparent in dealing with such matters. They said platforms should take security attacks seriously and inform people about them ASAP.  Irrespective of all that, OpenSea is doing great. Even when the NFT market has struggled for quite some time, Dune Analytics revealed that the platform handled a trading volume worth $100 million in August 2023. Now as Willow's and power. I've never quite seen Willow the same way as most. Certainly she hated being picked on. But Willow is not actually some extroverted person beaten down, to me. She's an introvert, who's attempt to come out of her shell in BtVS while a noble effort were largely a failure.

We find out Xander approached her to start their friendship, Buffy approached her, Oz approached her, Tara approached her.

The girl relies so much on social scripts that she can't get out of a situation where Cordelia is complaining about her to her, and all Harmony has to do is engage her in a friendly manner for Willow to do so pleasantly, despite the fact she hates Harmony with a fiery passion for making her life hell since second grade.

She was the only Scooby who really had negative reactions to anyone joining the Scooby Gang. Not a fan of Cordy or Faith or Anya. She could have invited Amy, the only female friend she had before Buffy into the group. She didn't, even though Amy could have been traumatized by what Catherine did.

Yeah, she gained confidence enough to get a boyfriend and a girlfriend. The boyfriend was in a band, and is one of the rare band members who is all about the music and in the post show comic is living in the mountains of Tibet. We find out she does have opinions of things, she's feminist for example, she's left leaning. But the closest she ever gets to doing anything about it is going to a wicca meeting where she finds out it's actually all talk, but it's feminist talk. In season 7 she has nothing but good things to say about the coven. But Giles has to go out and find her where she's meditating alone.

So, all that is why I believe Willow is actually an introverted person trying to force herself to be more outgoing because that is what society says people should be, and because it more closely matches the personalities of her friends.

I'm not denying Willow might do questionable things, I just believe that things that happen to people because of Willow's actions would be more likely because she forgot to think about them

Like she treated them like a bunch of NPCs. Now that actually might sound worse than trying to lord power over people, but I actually feel like the Buffyverse was pretty bad about that in general post high school years. BtVS season 4 wasn't terrible, but when Buffy decided she wouldn't sacrifice Dawn to save the world I feel like that is treating the other 6 billion in the world like they aren't real people. Season 6 had the problem of focusing so much on internal Scooby problems. Season 7 tried to fix it but kind of went back and forth on treating the potentials like real people. And the affect of Buffy asking the local girls was undermined by them showing other girls outside of Sunnydale. Meanwhile they did it on Angel by not just dismissing the suggestion Jasmine's mind control was a good thing. And at the end of season 5, triggering an apocalyptic battle to make some point.

"Folder also has a text file named 'security notes,'" Tim said. "Maybe our new hacker is friendly?"

"It's starting to look like it," Oracle agreed. "The video is clean. It should be safe to watch."

When you turn into a corridor in the supermarket, you see a small group of people and quickly realize that it is the group you were with during school time.

After your graduation, however, and after your case in Duskwood, the contact has been lost, and even if you have nothing against them, you have pulled back socially strongly and would rather avoid them.

Especially because you are not interested in having the typical conversations about 'How is your life?' or 'Where do you work?' etc..

But before you can quickly withdraw, you have already been noticed.

"MC?" your former friend notes rather questioningly.

"Wow, how nice to see you’re still alive." Although it was meant more as a joke to you, you have the feeling to hear a little reproach in his voice.

"Yes, haha", you answer: "I’m still alive, you apparently also?"

"How are you? What happened? We haven’t heard from you in a long time, don’t you live here anymore?"

"Not much happened, to be honest." Hah, liar. 'I was only wanted by the government because my friend is a hacker who hacked their important and secret Servers.' "And yes, actually I still live here, I’m just often somewhere else."

"Oh, so, sounds like you found a boyfriend?" you don’t know if you’re imagining it because the situation is so uncomfortable for you, but you think you can hear a little mockery in her voice.

And before you can answer, suddenly from behind, a hand stroke over the left side of your hip and stayed there.

"Are you ready?"

Far too fast and a little scared you look over your right shoulder where no less than Jake is standing.

If he weren’t so close to you, you wouldn’t be able to see his piercing ice blue eyes. But luckily for you, he looked directly at you and you could almost immediately lose yourself in his gaze.

As always, he had pulled his hood so deep into his face that his eyes were covered by the shadow. All others could see was a piece of his nose and his beautiful lips.

His slightly rough voice, which appeared far too close to your ear, gave you goose bumps and you almost had to swallow when your body immediately reacted with pure happiness to his presence.

You feel the scrutinizing looks on you and your boyfriend who is, as always, dressed in all black.

The black high boots you love so much, the black jeans, the black hoodie and the jacket, the same he wore in your first call but only in black instead of dark blue.

Four rings rested on his finger, two on each hand.

On the back of his right hand that was placed on your hip, the Nymos-Eye tattoo shimmered and together with the black rings it gave a pretty nice picture.

Thanks to the small distance between your faces, you can feel his peppermint smelling breath on your face and as every time you are close to him, you feel the nervousness growing in you.

The situation with your former friends who all looked a little surprised didn’t make the whole situation any better.

Your eyes fell on Jake’s lips as he moistened them with his tongue as he waited for a response from you.

"Oh, uh- yeah, yeah, I’m ready."

"Perfect" he spoke softly, then his gaze wandered upwards and he scanned the group that was still facing you and had not moved an inch.

"Do you know these people?" Jake asks and looks back down at you.

You nod: "we went to school together."

Again Jake looks up and nods to the group once briefly as a greeting, then he steps away from you, but immediately grabs your hand: "Can we leave? Nymos notified me, my program is done."

"Sure," you answer him, then you turn to your former friends while Jake has already dragged you some steps with him, "Sorry," you start a little embarrassed: "We have to go. Nice meeting you guys."

You wave quickly, then both of you have already disappeared from their field of vision.

Jake gives you a slightly skeptical look.

"You didn’t look happy talking to them, I thought I’d save you."

You smile at him: "Thank you for the help, my hero."

"The one girl looked pretty shocked" he jokes and you roll your eyes.

"No wonder, you know exactly what effect you have on people, we talked about it often enough."

"As long as I have the right effect on you, I don’t care about anything else."

With these words he led your hand to his lips and placed a gentle kiss on your tingling skin.

Another Star Rail Theory: the Stellaron Hunters

Star Rail is my new brain rot and since I have done all the Trailblazers Quest, waiting for the new updates, I have nothing to do but dish out theories. First of all, what do we know about the Stellaron Hunters? They attacked Herta's Space station to steal and use the Stellaron collected inside for a vessel, the MC. Then, they go out of their way to get inside Xianzhou, get captured, hacking their system to let the Astral Express dock, all for making the Astral Express and Xianzhou allies. Through the dialogue, we witness that most of their actions are because of Elio and his prophecies.

First: Kafka

The first person the MC remembers, for unknown reasons, and also the first person to give us sensible information. What I think is that Kafka is usually the spokesperson for Elio and his plans. The mission to steal the Stellaron could have been given solely to Silver Wolf for her hacking skill, but Kafka has an importance to the mission regarding choosing the vessel and making sure that said vessel remembers her and only her, mostly for creating a link between them? So Stelle is more likely to believe or at least stop and listen to what she has to say. Even the mission to create an occasion to make the Astral Express and Xianzhou allies could have been given only to Blade, mostly because I think Blade is from Xianzhou, but the Stellaron Hunters went further: by capturing Kafka, there was this chance to talk directly to her and being told "our" mission, fighting Nanook. So, from her bio, Kafka is trusted by Elio and probably shares his same objectives.

Second: Silver Wolf

Silver Wolf is Bronya. Let's skip to Blade. Just Kidding. There is nothing to speculate too much. She is a genius hacker and her fight with Screwllum is legendary. She has the power to hack into reality, and from her look, she looks more like the Herrsher of Reason. It's strange how she looks like a younger Bronya when in the game we already have a Bronya who is called Bronya. And second, the name. Silver Wolf like the alias used by Bronya in HI3. Coincidences? Maybe she is Bronya but from a more cyber-like world? Funny that her element is Quantum.

Third: Blade

Oh boy. OH BOY. His past with Dan Heng, the light scone "Nowhere to Run" and "The Unreachable Side", all points to him being a true immortal. He dies time and time again, but it's not a definitive death. He actually keeps living and chase after Dan Heng for unknown reasons.

One thing in common between the three of them is that their names don't look like names at all. They look like codenames or nicknames. Then we have Elio, the leader of the Stellaron Hunters. And because of him, here's my theory:

Elio is lookig at a bigger picture. He is doing, or is making Kafka and the others do, a lot of actions that will brought a most likely future that he foresaw. He probably follows the saying "the end justifies the means". He doesn't care what happens to the people if doing so it's going to save the Universe. Example: Kafka during our interrogation said that Elio foresaw Stelle asking three questions, if Kafka hears one of them she should say everything she knew. So, it's possible that if Stelle asked the wrong question, Kafka would have been silent. And if we look at THIS angle, he's creating something that is able to kill an Aeon. To kill a specific Aeon. They are hunting Stellarons, that are made by Nanook. Stellarons are said to leave destruction where they are. The Stellarons Hunters try to obtain said Stellarons and don't care too much what happen to the worlds they left behind. But why hunting Stellarons? For what use? As I say before to create something capable to kill an Aeon. We don't know what they did to the Stellarons previously obtain, but I can speculate they experimented to create a vessel, compatible enough to fuse with the Stellaron, strong enough to contain it. You CAN'T do something like that on first try. You need to try, fail, fix what's wrong and redo. They probably ended up destroy both the vessels and the Stellarons, until they managed to make Stelle and Caelus. They have two vessels. So they needed to find a Stellaron, how they knew Herta had one is probably also Elio's fault. But they have to time it. They needed to left the vessel in capable hands, definitely not Herta's, so Elio chose the right moment when the Antilegion was attacking the Space Station and the Astral Express was near to give them aid. Elio knew that Himeko would invite the Trailblazer to join the Express, so they left the vessel in capable hands. Herta's Station had only one Stellaron, so they had to chose which vessel to use, but what about the other? What happened to them?

Elio, through Kafka's words, is working to make sure that Stelle (my chosen MC) has enough strength to fight against an Aeon. Nothing is casual, but minutely orchestrated by Elio. It's no joke he is nicknamed Destiny's Slave. Elio, by doing all of this, is truly a slave of the future he is, a Slave of Destiny.
