DPxDC Al Ghul Twins

There's one thing I really, really love about Damian and Danny being twins.

So when Danny joins the Batfam, everyone knows he is Damian's twin, so they expect him to be at least somewhat similar to Damian. Not only by appearance but more by the character traits - they expect Danyal Al Ghul to be calm and stoic and maybe even bratty like his brother. What they get instead is Danny Fenton, a very much mouthy Midwestern teenager who likes puns and dreams of working for NASA and smiles a lot and actually unironically likes hugs? Sure, he knows his way with weapons and such, and he pranks literally everyone, but, well, all in all, he is a sweet child by Batfam standards, albeit a really powerful one.

But then comes a moment when one of them is harmed/taken hostage/threatened, and Danny Fenton is no more. There are no smiles and no jokes, no pranks or puns, only the cold, silent and determined fury and the ominous glow of Lazarus green eyes in the Gotham's shadows.

The Bats are intimately familiar with putting on a mask for the sake of appearances, but this is not a mask, and none of this is an act. This is Danyal Al Ghul, or maybe this is actually the Ghost King, who cares very little about the lives of those who harm his family.

The title of Demon Twins had to come from somewhere.
