🌿The Hamptons Café 🌿 a gorgeous little place on Jumeirah Beach road, serving a variety of delicious things including soups, quiches, salads and very tasty cakes and deserts. But what makes it really stand out is the decor and little touches, these types of places excite me too much I'm like a giddy child when I find them. I love the beach side cafe theme that you see outside with the chairs and the welcome sign. You can't miss all the gorgeous greenery and flowers it makes the place really stand out. As you go inside you walk through a gorgeous entrance way. In the restaurant the theme follows on as you see the anchor emblem on the tables, cushions even on the napkins, which really gives it a quirky touch. Dubai Mall is the biggest mall in the UAE and most visited by everyone especially on weekends. Some of the attractions there are the Burj Khalifa, Fountain Show, Dubai Aquarium and few more. So one weekend we went to Dubai Aquarium to get a little bit closer to underwater animals. We and mostly people will stand outside to watch, take a video or capture some images because some parts of it are visible inside the mall and it’s truly a huge aquarium. For a difference we took the so-called Tunnel and Underwater Zoo experience this time.

It’s a long queue if you want to purchase on the spot so if you want to skip this hassle, you can book your tickets online. Click here!

On your way to the tunnel, you will pass the photo booth session first and you’ll be given a wrist band to be used later on to collect your photos (payable). In the tunnel you’ll be mesmerized right away by them. While you will see most of them swimming around, others are just floating steadily and perhaps sleeping :) The divers are also visible from there and some scary sharks! Yikes!

Underwater Zoo is on the 2nd floor. You’ll be queuing into a tunnel again where you will mostly see sting rays and sharks this time. Before you’ll reach the zoo there’s another photo session. Inside we enjoyed seeing so many of these fishes that we are not familiar with. Well not to mentioned there’s Nemo and Dory who are popular. Underwater doesn’t mean fish only but there are other creatures there as well. So we found some giant rats, crocodile, crabs, etc. The zoo was kind of mix with some birds and other small reptiles like snakes and lizards too. Names of these animals are mostly found beside their aquariums.

In between, Hamza saw a Gelato ice cream station inside. Can we skip that? No! Well I don’t regret it. It was yummy even the cone is tasty! We took the cheesecake flavour :)

Photos as I mentioned earlier are collectible inside the Underwater zoo. Your wrist band will be scanned and you’ll get the option to either purchase them or not. For AED160 you’ll get an Album (consisting of 3 big pics and 4 small ones) with magnet and soft copies.

Our journey cost AED100/person for the Researcher and AED120/person for the Explorer. Children above 3 years of age will be charged for the same amount. We spent around 2 hrs in total inside and got a lot of small video clips and pics. Upon exit you’ll end up entering the souvenir area which has loads of awesome items.

Dubai Garden Glow is the first ever unique glowing park in the Middle East that offers 2 theme parks in one location i.e. the Dinosaur Park and Dubai Garden Glow itself. It’s located in Zabeel Park, Dubai with Gates 6 & 7.

The structures of this park has been created by artists from around the world. Making it as a very attractive and successful leisure themed park with entertainment for all. There are several areas that you’ll find in this park. In the Dubai Garden Glow area, there’s a food pavilion where food stalls are all lined up  and you can definitely find your favourites, however there are some other food stalls and refreshments area around the park too, there are live performances going on on the center stage, animal kingdom area is where kids will be introduced with different kinds of animals and learn about them in a creative way, Kids’ Fun area where children will be having some fun playing with some rides and games. And there’s the Dinosaur Park which is on the right side of the park upon entrance. You’ll be hearing the sounds that each dinosaurs make. You’ll learn about these species on which time of our Era they were existing. In the middle of this park, there’s a play area for kids with some exercising utilities too!

On the day we went there, it was those days when UAE  was pouring a lot of rain everyday. That’s why on our visit we were a bit earlier and you can’t see the lights glowing that much yet. But there were lots of families started coming in during that time already. I guess it’s indeed a big attraction that even with the bad weather people will still keep on coming.

This is our second time to be in the park. And what I observed for a difference aside from the Dinosaur Park is that, the center stage where live performances happens has been changed to a Underwater theme. Also a sort of tunnel filled with lights on one area leading to the food pavilion. A jogging track around the park outside is also now available. Nearby the entrance of the Dinosaur Park is a stand where you can have a Panda Train ride for AED15 for kids and AED20 for adults in approximately 8 mins. Same place where you can rent a cart for your kid(s). First 3 hours (minimum) for single seat is AED50 and AED60 for double seat and a stroller as well for AED50. There’s also the Burj Khalifa standing now within your reach.

Do you know that there’s a long bridge crossing the Sheikh Zayed road to reach the other side of the Dubai Garden Glow? Until on our second visit we can’t reach that part still because our legs were giving up on the main park itself! It’s really an expansive park!

It’s really wonderful and stunning in the evening where the park is glowing in the dark with all these amazing work of creativity. Highly recommended for families! I have visited White Room Spa in JLT  (Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai) for a Swedish Massage. I didn’t know them but through Tish Tash (A marketing agency) I came to know it. They are located in Cluster U on the basement of Al Seef Tower 3. The easiest way is to go down the stairs from the outside parking not from the building.

The spa faces the lakeside so you’ll find birds flying around and see the neighbouring tall buildings. It has been operating for 5 years and they also have in Dubai Marina. Recently a new branch has been opened in IBN Battuta Mall which provided amazing offers to their customers.

White Room Spa provides services like Blow Dry, Mani/Pedi and full massage since this branch has room for massaging. The interior is in fully white color and only the nail polish gives color for the spa. They have welcome drink which is more of a detox one aside from the water inside the massage rooms.

The massage room is facilitated with shower. The lavender oil was over a burner by a candle. The background music for relaxation is played from the mobile phone which I found odd. I only figured it out since I’m facing down because the music stops whenever there’s notification. There are hangers behind the door for your clothes.

My masseur that day was Ella from Philippines. She did some checking before starting. Temperature, pressure and even minor stretching. The session went fine and I can say my body was rejuvenated once again especially my back.
