Finally I have a drawing of Joy Lightmarer that I can show you all!! I’ve drawn it multiple times, but I finally drew one I’m proud enough of to post :)

EDIT: Also its mane is from a photo I took of my WHF Vinyl, and the position changes every time I draw it(aka it doesnt matter as long as it’s from the vinyl) so I’ll just put the pic under the cut ^^

canonical things / trivia i learned about we happy few from the artbook:

arthur attended patty cake at 5 pm in the parade ( which makes me personally believe he played simon says too, when he was still on joy )

arthur was meant to be designed like an anti-hero

peters / the constable on the bridge is the most important character in the game aside from percy

the old ladies are called criers and they were originally meant to have shopping carts to alert you of their presence but it was too problematic for the programmers

there is a picture in the book where arthur is dressed in a bobby costume, which insinuates there were plans for a mission where you had to dress like one

sally throws parties at her pad often

ollie was meant to have a bridge to patrol in the garden district where you had to give him honey to pass, and it insinuates that arthur was supposed to sneak over it, based off of an image inside the book

female wellies are called “wellettes”

joy was originally supposed to make you see uncle jack’s face in the sky on the moon at night

a picture in the book insinuates that arthur takes his mask off when he’s alone at work

arthur was apparently the only worker who did a fair amount of work, as opposed to most of the other employees

a picture in the book insinuates that arthur also worked in the room where the papers were cluttered everywhere

This was a hard one to fill out. I drew a lot in 2018 but most of the big pieces were produced in bursts - August for example was a crazy productive month with zine work, WHF contest drawings and loads of Art Fight pics. In contrast, December was almost empty because all the art I queued up for my absence was drawn in November. On to an even more busy and successful 2019!

I love the one where he had a pic of the guys from the When Heroes Fly cast up on screen. ******* November 21, 2019 And here are some pictures of Michael Aloni (@michaelaloni) from the main part of the event. They are not the best quality as I had to zoom in a lot. Tonight's event for the Canadian Magen David Adom (@canadianmda) included multple speakers: several higher ups in the organization, a woman from the Israeli consulate, several amazing paramedics from Israel, and an Israeli father whose daughter and son in law's lives were saved after a terrorist attack last December because of paramedics. There were 900 people at the event. Magen David Adom, or MADA, seems to be doing great work in Israel and I'm not surprised Michael wanted to be part of the event. 🇨🇦🇮🇱 Michael talked about a number of things in his section: how he originally thought he would be a scientist, how he got into acting with Hashminya, how he then went to acting school for three years, his role on Shtisel & the research they all did, The Voice Israel, and When Heroes Fly & how it shone a light on PTSD. He reconfirmed that Season 2 is definitely happening for WHF. When asked about Season 3 of Shtisel, he said it is being worked on, but the rest is unknown. I didn't really learn anything new (except that Michael can speak a little French, his extended family in Toronto was at the event, and that we apparently missed each other at the CN Tower today), but he is so engaging & such a good storyteller, that I enjoy hearing the stories again.
