4 am thoughts
#man; tumblr had been radio silent for me#i miss the times when people were a lot more interactive when quarantine had started#and making meaningful friendship is just a lot harder now too#because conversational asks and comments are so rare now#now it feels like my works are never seen anymore no matter how hard i try#which is fine ig it won’t change my passion to create art for myself#but the most fun part about art for me is the community and the conversations you’d have from sharing the piece#and now it’s been nonexistent and it’s kinda….discouraging?#maybe it’s nearing time for me to quit tumblr for good#which is sad cuz this platform is the only place i feel safe enough to truly be myself without co workers judging me#it’s truly really really sad to have to go back to drawing and never sharing#but the effort of posting and getting 0 interactions is making me tired somehow#i am happy with my own art but i can also be my own worst critic#so i believe it is absolutely human to occassionaly seek for validation here and there#nin rambles
