I had a response to an anonymous message readied in my drafts but Tumblr has decided to fucking obliterate it so here goes nothing;

Basically I expressed my disappointment with the way they handled Rhea. Then I received a reply that stated that they made Daemon kill her, as opposed to her death in the book, because HBO dislikes the Targaryens (since they're an incestuous dynasty) and is scared that if they made them look more sympathetic, "people would come for them". Anon also mentioned something about Daemon being supposed to be portrayed as morally gray. And I uhhhh disagree. So here is, more or less, my response to all that.

I was not a part of the GOT fandom during Dany's character assassination but I dare assume HBO does not give a crap about the values of House Targaryen and whether the content of their shows is moral or not. If they minded giving incestuous relationships a platform, I doubt GOT would have seen a light of day at all. Streaming platforms don't tend to care about whether viewers will come for their heads or not. And if the audience finds certain characters likeable, they'll stick around to see more of them on the screen = more money for HBO.

That being said, I don't see the way they decided to handle the scene as some part of anti-Targaryen agenda. No, the answer is apparently far simpler: the man responsible for writing for this week's episode seems to be downright fucking goofy in his inability to comprehend the reading material he's being presented with.

I dreaded the way they were going to solve this [scene] not because I refused to believe he'd be willing to kill his wife but because this solution seems just. unnecessary and unnecessarily stupid. Did they add that in to make us believe he all of the sudden took a turn and decided to end Rhea to be able to marry Rhaenyra? For someone who marries her against many odds later on anyway... that seems like a weak argument. Idk, the scene just seemes disjointed and like a waste of time (and Rhea's character) to me.

And let's be clear, I do not care for Daemon being shown as likeable! He is anything but, most of the time! And when he does have his likeable moments, most can't help but wonder if they're without underlying intentions. So this is not to whine about Daemon being villainised, I wouldn't even readily agree on him being morally gray! No, it's just that we did not need to see him in his ratty lil cloak, spitefully bashing Rhea's head in with a rock to realise that the man is vile. We have already seen him doing vile things and there are many more to come. The scene simply felt childishly edgy to me. And on one hand I'm glad we even got to see Lady Royce and witness her taking absolutely none of Targaryen's nonsense, throwing facts left, right and centre, but ehhhhh at what cost.

*And before anyone mentions it, I know their marriage was fucking miserable and a political flop pretty much since the very beginning. And that for some reason they have been refused an annulment many times. Not the point I'm making here. We just did not need that scene from a narrative and technical perspective.

finished psychonauts2! it was really good. while i had some grievances, particularly in the beginning (nerfing some of the powers (sorry raz that you forgot half your camp powers and that your levi ball got a decrease in effectiveness); i still think there were a couple too many cutscenes; something about the combat felt harder (maybe bc of new enemies idk)) it was nice.

the gameplay itself had an odd feel to it, especially in the beginning since i was straight off the back of pn1. im sure it wouldve been more enjoyable in the beginning if i wasnt going by previous instinct haha. i did like that it gave the option of mitigating damage for both falling and combat. i played the entire time with damage off haha. the combat felt more difficult for some reason. i wish i couldve manual saved! it saved at decent spots the majority of the time but there were times i wish i couldve just saved, quit, and go to bed lol.

the levels were interesting, but i dont think there was any specific level that really stuck out to me like in the first game. they were all very interesting visually and in terms of playability, but even they suffered from cutscene frenzy. i liked helmets world; it was an interesting take on sensory overload and all that entailed. the cooking show was fun too, if not frustrating. and, ugh, the vomit bit.

honestly, the atmosphere between pn1 and pn2 just feels.. miles different. pn1 had a much darker sense of humor, one that i felt pn2 never really indulged in. it was less funny for me in a lot of places, there were only a couple of jokes i really laughed at in pn2. pn2 was glossier and lighter. this affected the tone and the side characters. there were more characters in pn2 vs pn1, yes, but a lot of them had less personality. the interns were better as they were made to be played off of, but ehh. what pn2 lacks in early 2000s swag, however, it makes up in story.

its a GOOD story. its an interesting take on intergenerational trauma, and it made me do a double take on characters we'd previously met, which is very good. there were a couple of story beats i felt couldve been punchier, but overall it was a good buildup and follow through. its REALLY interesting looking back on my memories of pn1, remembering the tornado in raz's mind that didnt really do much, and go OH MY GOD!! THEY PLANNED THIS FROM THE BEGINNING. im glad they knew what they wanted from the beginning lol.

RAZ.. MY BELOVED. MY BEST FRIEND. hes less snarky (in accordance with the loss of the dark humor </3) but hes SO SWEET. hes still got a bit of fire in him. AAH hes gone through a LOT over the course of a couple days holy hell. his family is fun, i wish there had been more discussion about him running away/an apology from both ends (LOOKING AT YOU DION) but i understand why it wouldnt have fit.

idk! it was just really good. i could talk a good deal about it. now i need more psychonauts stuff...... but ill survive. play psychonauts :)

Could I ask headcanons of Black Eagles flirting and crushing on Byleth (professor?)?

[Ask and you shall receive lol. Lately I’ve been busying myself with long reports, so I needed something cutsey to recharge.(Sorry if it’s complete rubbish lol) It’s not much but I hope you like it!]

Edelgard: 

Ehh. She won’t be a student much longer anyways. 

Byleth will always be her professor...but maybe another title can be ticked onto that list? She hopes so. 

However, she doesn’t go too overboard. Just a few teasing gestures and quips every once in a while to sedate the budding sentiment in her heart 

With more pressing issues over love, Edelgard can’t afford to play the role of lovesick schoolgirl 

She sets side her personal feelings for the professor when around others. Instead they are treated as a good friend and adored instructor. Alongside the present given on Byleth’s birthday are a few other trinkets Edelgard picked up herself, you know, because she’s extra 

When alone her thoughts often drift. There are many occasions where work ends up procrastinated 

She keeps everything bottled up inside and doesn’t even hint at the idea of a crush to anyone. To love is to be compromised, to be compromised is to be weak, and to be weak is to fail

This is something she firmly believes until the support of her peers and affection from her professor begin to challenge it 

Perhaps there is room for love in her future 

“My teacher, you are an important companion to everyone here and to myself. You must never forget that”  

Hubert: 

Oh he is smooooth. 

Yet subtle 

He knows that he shouldn’t become too attached considering what’s to come in the future. His mind and body are her highness’ to command

....well, all good things come in moderation anyways. What’s a little meaningless flirting?

His flirting methods follow the ‘attack of opportunity’ plan. Meaning that he tosses in his quips when the time seems fitting 

He knows what he is doing. Never assume otherwise 

Obviously such conduct towards a teacher is unrefined. Does he care? The guy couldn’t give less of a sh*t 

He has 100% commented on their dancing attire at least once

People should mind their own business lest they want to lose their tongue. Can’t gossip when you can’t speak, right?  

If the professor doesn’t seem to mind then why should he stop? If they recuperate then that’s even better

It’s no fun when prey doesn’t fight back once in a while. 

“Oh do go on. The droll behind your ever so taunting tone is intoxicating. It almost makes this insufferable lecture mildly entertaining” -shots fired. Professor or not, ‘love interest’ or enemy, Hubert does not tone down the sarcasm 

No one even suspects that he has an interest in Byleth. He downright makes it appear that they are his sworn enemy (whether this is intentional or not? You decide) 

Caspar:

‘Flirt’? ‘Caspar’? That’s funny

It’s not that he can’t do it. Caspar can be very charming when he wants to be, but why bother? 

They’re his professor. If he starts kissing up to them then the others might start to think he’s pegging for special treatment 

He also doesn’t want them to like a facade. He wants them to like him

Not that he would turn said special treatment down if offered. He d o e s want to get stronger, and the extra time with his “favorite”*wink* professor is a lucky bonus 

He tends to have a ‘lingering eye’ that’s easy to pick up on if you catch my drift

he is not pure hearted, just a dunce. There is a difference

The boy blushes at every little action without even noticing

He loves to watch them train, both to better his own moves and to admire them without it seeming weird 

Literally everyone knows that Caspar has a thing for Byleth before he knows it himself. He’s the kind that mistakes a crush for admiration 

He’s also a big baby when it comes to them giving other people attention. 

He justifies his interruptions as: “The professor doesn’t have time to do __ for __! They have enough to do as it is!” 

Now what does that translate to in Caspar language?: “The time the professor spends doing __ is time they could spend with our class me” 

Someone help him. He’s so thick headed it’s actually sad 

Petra: 

“My apologies. I will be returning after the clearing of my head” 

She’s unfamiliar with the courting methods in Fodlan. Are they the same as in Bridgid? 

Thoughts of the professor occasionally will interfere with her study time

Also her appetite. Normally she eats plenty at meals since she hates waste, but the professor makes her nervous about her etiquette 

let’s just ignore that Byleth eats like a ravenous boar

She wants to take them to see Bridgid. It’s only natural to want to share the things you love with those you care about 

She embraces the affection she feels. Byleth is a truly wonderful person and the royal family would gladly accept them if Petra expressed her feelings 

When she returns she wants to ask them to accompany her 

For now she will remain at their side both in battle, in leisure, and in spirit 

Petra also isn’t one to approach with caution. The way she flirts is through honesty 

If they do something she likes then she says so. If they look nice or are trying something new then she’ll comment on it. If she sees something in the shop that they might like, then she buys it 

Petra is simple. She does for Byleth what she thinks will make them happy and doesn’t overthink it in the slightest 

Dorothea: 

The newfound feelings aren’t discouraged nor appreciated. It is a battle between practicality and love for her 

Not because of them being a professor, but everything else 

Mercenary, teacher, reincarnate, solider, tactician, etc. 

Such a dangerous profession with so much blood on their hands. Are those the ones she wants to hold for the rest of their days? 

Will they even live long enough to grow old with her? 

She wants a reliable partner to take care of her and not give her a heart attack on a daily basis. So far only one box is checked 

She will not be a widow at such a young age. She refuses 

When these thoughts emerge Dorothea retracts from Byleth. There’s still the open friendliness that was there before, but now an extra barrier has been put up 

She won’t go out of her way to give Byleth special treatment. Her search for a partner other than them will continue on 

Maybe she’ll find someone else to smash these feelings so that there will be no need to confront them 

Only after they ‘die’ will she stop suppressing them. 

“To think that it took such a disaster for me to see the light. Why do people realize such things when it’s too late?” - she focuses on personal growth until the reunion. Relying on another person to prevent the past from reappearing is not what she wants. 

Ferdinand: 

The best way that Ferdinand can communicate his feelings is through words

He tries. He really tries to come across as a potential life partner for the professor. He can only be a student for so long, and they’re close in age. Logically there is nothing wrong with the possibility of a courtship 

but because speaking ‘frilly’ is a normality the effect is not like how he hoped 

When Ferdinand falls, he falls hard. Yes, he is a flirt. Yes, he stretches himself thin trying to please everyone. Yes, he has his quirks that make him extremely confrontational 

So when he finds someone with the ability to make him both strengthen his morals, question the bigger picture, and grow as an individual (after the whole ‘noble’ mine-bomb) it’s a big deal 

Therefore he will not relent in his pursuit of Byleth unless they explicitly tell him to stop. If words don’t work then he instantly pegs for quality time and acts of affirmation 

Greets them every morning, carries their supplies, invites them to tea, delivers lost items, etc. People really do peg him as a kiss ass. 

He doesn’t get the ‘heart flutters’ that people talk about. When he’s beside the professor he just feels energized. Like he could actually beat Edelgard ‘could’ is the key word in that scentence

“Good morning Professor! If your schedule allows it, would you care to join me for tea later this afternoon? Your company would make it the perfect level of sweetness” 

Linhardt: 

A firm believer of “age is but a number”

It’s more of his personal beliefs that tone down any pursuit of the professor. They are currently in a position of power over him that halts any relationship progression at a professional level. 

So as any healthy person does: he vents any growing affection into his studies

He h a t e s how they make him restless.He’ll be feeling drowsy one moment but then their face will pop into his mind 

He can’t even sleep through class. Not with them there 

Actually works in the class’ favor since he starts contributing to the lectures. If you can’t beat them then might as well join them 

This is how it is during pre-timeskip for the most part. Occasionally he will let his thoughts slip but never any action

He has crests to research and Byleth has students that seemingly want to die by the hour. There is literally no time to flirt 

Now AFTER the timeskip, things are different. Linhardt is a blunt person which sometimes works in his favor. Just so happens that flirting comes naturally to him  

most of the time it doesn’t though

“Could you refrain from doing that? It’s distracting”                                      “Linhardt, i’m stretching. How is that distracting?”                                         “You are an attractive individual. Need I say more?” 

Life is short. He has no filter 

Bernadetta: 

“HI PROFESSOR!”                                                                                       “Afternoon Bernadetta. I see you’re out of your room today”                       “W-what? OH! Yes. Y-y-yEs i aM IM SORRY I’LL GO BACK PLEASE DON’T PATRONIZE MEEEEE” 

She’s scared. What’s new? 

The girl never expected to have these feelings. One night she was painting when what was supposed to be a cloud began to resemble her professor 

It was downhill from there.

Her behavior is exactly the same as prior to her feelings. Being a naturally jittery person works to her advantage, no one suspects a thing! 

Compared to simply being friends it will take longer for her to be comfortable 

She will avoid Byleth at all times outside of lessons. It’s just too hard to communicate anymore 

Eventually her outer shell will crack. The once new feelings will begin to feel normal and the old bernie will be back. Jittery, hyperactive, kind, lovable bernie

Rhapsode Reacts: RWBY Volume 3

Hey guys, Rhapsode here. So I’ve been on the record numerous times saying I haven’t watched the internet series RWBY. I haven’t. However, I have a rather close mutual @remnantoforario who tells me about most of the series and characters. Seriously, I basically have experienced the plot through osmosis. Now me and remnant work on a lot of fanfiction stuff and general discussions of video games and manga. And highly suggest anyone who wants a more in depth look at RWBY to please check him out. He’s great.

Now due to the fact he has basically told me the series up this point, its kinda been a bit frustrating when I forget something and ask him to reiterate. So I decided to knuckle down and watch some of the series.

I helped remnant get a non RWBY fan opinion, by basically live-blogging him in our PMs. And I thought I had some level of humorous reactions and Remnant had some witty observations to my reactions.

Anyway, if you didn’t catch it the first time, I must repeat, I’m not coming at this from the perspective of a fan. I have very little emotional or personal enjoyment going in the series up to this point. If I say something that offends you as a fan, I’m sorry in advance.

With that out of the way, let’s dive in:

Oh that’s a sweet scene of Ruby at her mother’s grave.

Why would you start Team RWBY’s preliminary fight in the middle of it?

the Vytal Festival feels like it should be reversed: you should start with 1, then go to 2, then for your finals, 4. Or just do a solid 4 v 4 all tournament

Remnantoforario: I dont know what the purpose of the tournament is, or why anyone would want to participate. There is no prize 

Me: Bragging rights I guess. But the whole point of the festival is to celebrate peace. Lets celebrate piece with a bunch of kids beating each other up .

Ruby has a line of "we did it?" like she was surprised. Was that a concern? 

Like I understand the festival has been built up since the second volume, but there's a reason most good tournament arcs ease you into the first round. Its to reaffirm character motivation and actually show you what a fight would look like 

  I do appreciate some of the “show don't tell” moments like the one girl using a heat crystal in her skate board to free her teammate

But usually even if the first round is jobbers, they're at least presented as a threat. I never really got that. The tide seemed more and Rwby's favor, but I can't tell if that was always the case because we started in the middle of the fight

the pacing just feels like you can't handle the story, so it wants to get to the fight scenes to keep your attention 

Emerald is actually really funny, holy shit 

“How can they be so happy?” And “It’s the heiress and the bimbo” 

Still Weiss and Yang, better savor this duo while I can 

Neo’s gothic Lolita is cute. Though I feel like their match should’ve gotten a focus 

Like I mean not an episode but if they started with the instant eliminations of 1v1, I could easily see this cool intro of Rwby has met Emerald, Mercury, and Cinder, but then is shocked at who this fourth member even is 

OK I feel like the scene with Rwby and JNPR should’ve happened before the first round.  Given Nora’s rant would actually tie to Ruby’s whole “we won?” Surprise

“Cinder: Even if you know how the story ends that doesn’t make it any less fun to watch.” I’d agree with you if you know the story wasn’t Rwby. And it’s not really that fun to watch a bunch of fighting with no weight.

OK team JNPR vs team BRNZ is actually a much better introduction to the tournament than Rwby vs Abrn

We actually see how the field is chosen and we actually get some genuine strategy and coordination. And before all this we actually get some motivation about how the characters feel going into this battle

Me: OK why are these not the protagonists and why was this not episode one?

Remnantoforario: questions for the writers 

I got admit I’m not very much of a fan of melee weapons that also turn into guns and just kind of makes the purpose of melee fighters and ranged fighters pointless 

Logically it makes sense that if you’re making a weapon you do want it to have multiple functionality but at the same time it kind of makes a lot of that fighting less fun 

I mean what do you want to see more a team complete each other or just one person who can just do everything with the right weapon?

  Ehh OK the team meeting joke is running a tad too long

Okay, that was what I was mentioning before... Just cut out Nora with missiles. I feels more like a give and take as well as more unique to have that moment with her slamming on the ground 

“Crow Bar.” Oh you go to the corner for that pun.

OK that joke with Weiss and telling Indigo to beat up Neptune was timed and delivered really bad 

Also port makes a point that Sun is from Vacuo. Wouldn’t it be interesting if the leader or any membr of Indigo actually did know Sun from Vacuo?

I say that because no member of team Indigo has said anything, and it would at least add something unique to this fight

OK I have to bring up the weird use of western cartoon comedy

Neptune running up the mountain it’s super speed is kind of funny but this is also a fight I’m supposed to take seriously 

Nora and Ruby kind of get away with it given their powers but Neptune just ran up a mountain like it was nothing

What is the tone here?

Sage went out like a bitch 

you know if you wanted to eliminate someone to make me feel for this team being in trouble why didn’t you just eliminate Neptune? 

OK scarlet’s scene actually really works 

That nut joke didn’t. Again, tone? 

Me: Why would you sacrifice the two characters we don’t know anything about just to do Neptunes stupid joke?

Remnant: COMEDY 

OK this fight was bad 

Me: I get the idea indigo was a bunch of jobbers so you decided to play the comedy angle. OK, well then tone down the serious rock music, turn down the cartoon physics

Remnant: For reference. That was a post Monty fight 

I agree with Qrow, that was a mess

okay introduction to Winter is pretty good. Shame we don't really get that "Novice victory" vibe from their fight. Maybe if it last for more than 8 minutes and didn't start from the middle... 

okay see, I don't mid Winter and Qrow having a fight in the middle of the square as it helps serve as an introduction to the characters and flexes their strength

though Im also starting to notice something else that bugs me in the fights, no banter or introspection or comments

its just fight moves 

like there's times that's god, DBZ did it tons of times when its just Goku making "Hiyah" noises but there was still a bit of time to get in a line that both broke up the action and highlighted how two characters felt or through thought was able to give us a peek into their head

watching rwby fights makes me think, "This be better as a video game" 

so... does no woman in this world wear a bra? 

 Ironwood: “If you were one of my men, I'd have you shot!”

Okay, that can't be legal

Ironwood is kinda becoming my favorite character 

He's a flawed human being, and the narrative shows that, but it also shows he has a point 

Okay, yeah I see what you mean, all this Fall stuff is happening in the background which is nice, but there's no real plot with the tournament 

Okay Mercury and Emerald vs Coco and Yatsuhashi is actually really good 

not much character, but its actually more intimidating seeing how strong these two are. Wish the music had a bit more ambiance 

Okay, that's an interesting plot point. Qrow explaining how beating one high profile criminal hasn't stopped crime. And the fact there is zero crime is concerning and relating it back to Ironwood

Wow, its almost when you just slow down and lt characters breath and talk to each other and have them be characters without shoving in a fight scene, its pretty good

Why is team Cardin fighting a non faunus team? Feels like a waste of characters 

disappointing that Ciel doesn't know Penny is a robot

mainly because the way its queued up with Ciel seemed like she was only spending time with Penny because ordered and her attention to the schedule makes it seem like she is a soldier just having to play dress up for the robot to make it comfortable 

Me: Wow Weiss's heels...  Never noticed them. I just thought they were boots

Remnant: Nope heels 

Also Neon and Flynt actually have a pretty good intro 

We know what Atlas is like seeing Winter and Ironwood, so Neon and Flynt make an interesting and immediate contrast

And it feels like there is something riding on our opponents side given Flynts history with the Schnee. Which makes him stand out from the other jobbers

And Neon's intentionally irritating personality actually is more character displayed by any other opponent character

I actually really like the OST in the fight too. This might be my favorite action scene 

Flynt actually has a really cool semblance too 

oh wow, some actual dread with Weiss getting eliminated 

Imma let you get away with that Hulk reference Port

I like how Yang beat Flynt, but if I was gonna beat Neon, I'd have Yang punch the ground and through her off balance 

Haha Ironwood doesn't have a heart, I get it, he's tin man 

least they didn't go with Ozpin saying Qrow doesn't have a brain 

Me: So... If Pyrrha is all these things, why aren't we following her team?

So abridged version of the four seasons story Four random chicks find a guy camped out in his house, be nice to him and he gives them super powers. If I were a kid being told that, I’d demand another story 

Pyrrha: like a semblance?

Oz: Like magic!

Me: Like a semblance

Qrow is right, this selection is stupid 

You’re keeping a woman in your basement in cryogenic suspension. Oz you and Rhea need to share notes 

Oh god... Adam. You can’t act

Adam seems already psychopathic Or maybe that’s just his acting

So this is the famous Yang punching Mercury... It works I guess

Actually getting a chance to see some Jaune and Pyrrha moments in v3 and it’s good 

Me: Velvet is British? Huh... never predicted that 

Remnant: Australian 

How can Ruby notice Emerald all the way across the arena? Actually wait she’s the only one not in a black uniform 

Why did they leave Mercury behind where anyone could find him? 

And Penny is dead and I do not care at this point

Cinder’s little speech is the first time I’m actually feeling like I’m getting a villain motivation out of her 

She talks about how Oz and the headmasters are just men capable of making mistakes But she’s someone who would embrace and all powerful godly being. Though that seems and odds with the presumed motive that she’s working with Salem to potentially kill the brother gods

Okay, Blake and Weiss have a pretty good scene when all hell was breaking loose 

Ruby versus the big ass bird was actually pretty cool and the scene of everyone’s lockers being what puts it down is really clever 

Oh really cool scene of Port and Oobleck. Hey the fall is turning out pretty decent

Ironwood killing the wolf was pretty good 

Roman is a breath of fresh air as a villain. And it’s namely his acting 

You know I feel like you could let the more tertiary characters fight the robots while Weiss and Blake fight WF 

OK I repeat this is just become a video game. Giant dragon that spawns mini monsters in a destroyed town 

The spectacle fighting actually really works when your opponents are mindless and faceless brutes

You have Adam in a school full of terrified people, why aren’t you showing his nuance by showing he won’t hurt Faunus staff and is giving them an out? 

Velvet’s scene be cool if it was powers she was mimicking. Looking at a lot of weapons really doesn’t do much for me.

That said, this could work if she ended up copying the mech and fighting against it

Okay I feel like Weiss finally being able to summon something should’ve been done with a lot more gravitas

And Sun proceeds to be the best male character 

Neo is fucking beast. Y’know what, let her be final boss

Now I just have this image of Neo flying through the air with a sign reading “I’m Mary Poppins, Y’all”

Wow, Roman went out like a bitch 

Like zero build up just dead. And his replacement is Adam... There is no justice 

Ironwood: someone has done the unthinkable and taken control of my machines!

Watts: What? Like it’s hard? 

Blake and Yang holding hands on the ground after Yang lost an arm. Yeah that’s pretty shippy 

Also, I feel like the animation really limits a lot of the characters expressions. Like the time Ruby spent dwelling on her sister being mutilated is well timed. But usually a lot of the emotional devastation comes down to the expression.

a lot of faces seem stiff in transition expressions. Or they have this doll like quality 

The most expressive person seems to be Emerald 

Pyrrha and Jaune’s kiss is actually really tender 

Me: Okay how the hell is Cinder’s dress still managing to cover her loins? 

Remnant: maiden magic.

And Pyrrha died 

Are you done with the whole line of do you believe in destiny was fine Personally I would’ve also accepted the Ted Kord response, Rot in Hell.

Ruby went super saiyan 

Tai being the first person Ruby sees is nice 

Yang’s bitterness works here. Though given how I wasn’t feeling too much of the sisterly bond between the two, it’s probably not as hard hitting as they wanted 

Salem’s introduction isn’t bad 

so after watching V3. my final opinion is meh 

Strikes me as they wanted to the fall, and the tournament was just a lot of window dressing. Because the stuff with the Fall is the best part, but everything else has felt dull and fillery.

Maybe I’ll do this for the next season of a series I binge. But till next time, take care.

wait actually i think mark looks kinda cute when he does aegyo (there was a clip of him doing it on weekly idol that was SO cute)...i think bc he doesnt usually like to do it so he doesn't overdo it (plus he's naturally a cutie)?? but yea in general whenever they do aegyo im just.....highkey cringing hahaha

omg yes nana is such a mood with how he's not competitive (like in nct world 2.0 he had this vibe that was like "when can i go home" and im like same lol introvert things) but yea i think he and jeno volunteered in indonesia (i think it was called "the best day" on some tv program?), and nana said, “i want to see the worlds happiest smile once, bc when i see that i'll cherish it forever" and im like omg nanaaaa what a kind soul my bias 😭 🥺 🥺 also i've noticed nana recently really likes to use the word sexy and it's taken on so many different meanings for him, he says it all the time now even on award shows 😂 😂

thats so cool that you're a dancer!! i dont usually notice these things (besides like the obvious cool things in choreos lmaoo (speaking of, i think one of my fav choreos is nct127 chain)) and now that you mentioned it, i do see the difference in nana before and after maw!! i think being in maw prob benefitted him bc he got to work w the hyungs and maw choreo seems difficult (not that dream choreo is easy either tho)! i also love superm so much and i love how you can tell their chemistry has really grown since they debuted!!

OH MY GOD DONT GET ME STARTED ON JAEHYUNS I LIKE ME BETTER COVER. asdfjdnsajk he looked sooo good in it (um excuse me bf material)?? and his voice?? and everything?? and the video itself was so aesthetic but i mean obviously...jung jaehyun makes every video better. for jaemins drama yea the drama itself was kinda cringe and the characters were kinda...boring...i honestly skipped some parts while watching bc it was slow 😅 but i felt like his acting was pretty good and i wanna see him act more in the future! i have hopes that jaehyuns drama will be better (also bc it’s like a full drama and not a short web drama)

i loved him in nct world 2.0 so much!! bc he’s so capable (omg when he beat yuta in arm wrestling i was??????? sexc but frankly i didn’t see that coming) but so unbothered!! OH AND I KNOW THAT VOLUNTEERING IN INDONESIA THING YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT so! precious! oh my god 🥺 and i love when he says ‘sexc’ to everything ahgdfhga mood tbh and adding to the list of reasons to love nana: yk when he kinda gets jealous (esp in those dream vs dream episodes when dreamies fail his questions) and he gets all cute and pouty and DRAMATIC and complains a lot  ‘jeno obvs doesn’t have very much interest in me and i have a lot of interest in him’ or how he complained to renjun bc renjun asked him what mark said to [renjun] when they met and he was so mad ‘yk renjun when i wrote these questions i was thinking of you and not of mark hyung’ and stuff sdahgsfdah that’s so adorable + HIS VOICE haddgha i love how it goes from real deep to broken in seconds

speaking of nct world 2.0 i enjoyed it so much ahdgsha let’s talk about it, what are your favorite moments?? personally i love everything that includes nana bc i’m trash like that, especially those sport games hadgjas i rewatched those videos i think at least 3 times so far it’s so fun, love my 00600 squad; but also the challenge to fry 23(?) eggs sunny side up that mark got dajgshhashagdf that was so funny but it also made me want to eat eggs (no joke the next day, first thing i did in the morning was fry some eggs for breakfast and eat them with ketchup)

AWWW I LOVE CHAIN but i think i love all nct 127 choreos it’s really hard to choose, they’re doing it so profesionally so their performances are always perfect i really enjoy watching them.... so i can’t pick just one (been into wakey wakey lately tho asdghfahg) </3 but i can pick one for wayv (take off!!!! that song is so good and omg the choreo??? it’s one of my favorite choreos of all time so good so cohesive LOVE IT.. speaking of which, why didn’t they promote take off a little more</3 it’s an amazing song and concept ehh) and for dream (i think i said this but either we go up or 1, 2, 3)

The bell had just rang while Hannah and I got up to leave. “Hey after you have practice thing you wanna meet up at Monets ? On me of course” “Yeah, sure” We both walked towards the exit door of the class when she started giving me ‘the eyes’ “Hannah stop I know what you’re doing” “Oh yeah what am I doing” she answered smirking at me. “Stop or I won’t even show up” “ you wouldn’t ” “Try me baker” I smirked “Okay” she walked away from me toward the door. I was curious to why she rushed out when it hit me shit Jeffs last period was across from ours. “Hannah no ” I said a little to late for she already makes it to him as all the other students poured out ready to leave. As I walked over I heard her say hi “Hey n/n ” •nick name -Jeff smiled then looked over to me. N/n I thought what’s that about? Before I could answer Hannah spoke for me, “You know what I don’t think I can walk you out to your puff thing, Jeff could you do me a favor and walk with her I mean you’re already going the same way right?” Thank god he wasn’t looking at me because as she spoke because I was burning holes through her head. “Yeah sure no problem ” he turned to me as I changed my expression, and smiled at me which to I smiled back. “Ok good and thanks, so bye guys ” Hannah said turning to go but not before she sent a subtle wink my way clearly taunting me over the 'you wouldn’t’. “Alright ,Ok lets go” he said as we started walking with me right next to him. 'god this is awkward ’ I thought to my myself as we simply walked side to side without saying a word for a few solid minutes. If I was being completely honest I was thinking about our oblivious height difference “So I’m taking a guess you’re not very talkative” he told me with a slight chuckle. “Oh no it’s not that I was just thinking ” “Hopefully not thinking I’m strange or anything” “Why would I think that?” “You know sometimes people think it’s strange if someone they aren’t really familiar with knows their name and well I said your name while you were signing up and I had this question almost questioning feeling from you,,, and now that I’m saying it out loud it sounds really funny” I decided just to laugh it out since we where at the doors and I didn’t quite know how to respond. “Well I guess I’m going over there with the rest of the girls to change out, bye and thanks for walking with me”

Jeffs POV ~ I couldn’t help but smile at Y/N as she walked away she certainly was something else. I slightly shook my head getting myself back to normality. “Ok time to practice”

Normal POV “God I’m going to die” I said to myself as I dressed back into my normal clothes sore as heck and by the time I walked out mostly everyone had left already but I honestly did take my sweet time and I had no rush, plus making Hannah wait was a type of pay back. Not to mention my soreness while walking. I walked out of the school toward Monets. HONKKKKKKKK I heard behind me making me jump. I turned to see who the hell had done that to me and to my surprise I saw no less and no other than Jeff. “Sorry for scaring you” “Well if it isn’t Atkins” I laughed “what are you doing still so close to the school?” “I could ask you the same thing” he threw back “I’m taking my time ” “Same here, where you going?” “Monets ” “Really?, what a coincidence me too ” “Really?” “Yeah hey let me give you a ride at least, you know for scaring you ” I smiled “are you sure you’re not trying to kidnap me Atkins I mean you already sneaked up on me” I joked making him laugh. God did he have such a nice laugh. “I promise not to kidnap you today” he threw back making me laugh making me quote with my fingers as I spoke “Today” “Yeah today come on get in ” “Ok” I smiled and walked across the street to get into the passenger side. “Thanks ” “Yeah no problem” he said smiling and put the car into drive. “So what do you think about practice?,, or wait better question what do you think about liberty? You’ve been here for like four weeks now right?” He said glancing at me while still looking at the road . “Four weeks yes, and practice it’s actually tiring I haven’t done anything athletic in two months, and it’s okay I guess it’s high school I don’t think it gets any better than okay there ” I said “Mhh I see” he said driving toward Monets. “So where you from?” “Y/H” (your home town ) “Nice” “Yeah, you?” “I’ve been here since ever” “I see nice ” “Yeah ” he laughed turning the car off. “So two months uh” “Yup I took two months off to go with my aunt in the U.K. I came back and moved here so my parents could be closer to they’re companies so that meant no cheer for awhile ” I said as he just stared at my face for what seemed like an eternity after we made it to monets

Jeffs POV Dear holiness I couldn’t stop staring at Y/N as she spoke “You’re so pretty ” I thought out loud without recognizing it. Shit I said it out loud,I could already feel the pink spreading across my face when Y/N’s phone went off

Normal POV

I sat there shocked now his cheeks were the lightest shade of pink,when my phone went off I checked down and saw Hannah calling so I picked up “Y/L where are you I’m waiting and my hot chocolate is turning very unhot ” “I’m here see you in a bit” “Ok just hurry ” “Ok bye girly ” I hung up. Jeff had already gotten out While I was on the phone and went to my side to open the car door for me. “Thank you ” I said as I stepped out. “No problem ” he answered rubbing his neck somewhat nervously. He closed the door behind be as we both silently walked to the monets door which I opened for him. He smiled at me the pink already gone had he not gotten pink?. He got the door from above where I was holding. “After you” he said breaking the quiet “I held it first ” “And now I’m holding it” “I’m not going in until you do ” “But I’m a gentleman ” “But I’m a lady ” “Exactly go in ” he laughed “Nope you go ” Jeff laughed as he walked in and turned to me , “Y/N Y\L , you my lady are something else” he joked as I walked in after him. We both saw Hannah and Clay together “Swear I can’t wait to see them get together, you can easily see them together” I said more to myself than out loud. “You see it too? I’ve been waiting forever so one of them to make a move” “I bet ,but no I must wait for my parents to get together” “Parents?” “Yeah Hannah and Clay always baby me since I’m the youngest so they’re my other parents ” “Ohh , I see ” he smiled “Well lets go” We walked over to them “Humans!” I said making them turn to me “Child!” Hannah replied as I pulled out a chair and sat down “ Me and Clay ordered your drinks ” they said as they both held on to a cup of hot coco. “A peach ice tea for Y/N” Hannah said sliding it across the table to me “And a Carmel frappe for Jeff” clay said . “Awwweee my beautiful parents finishing each others sentences ” Hannah and Clay simply gave me “thee annoyed” look. “Oh so I was actually checking with my parents and I can’t tutor you today my parents need me home so is it ok if I tutor you tomorrow with y/n?” Jeff smiled and nodded, “hey totally man no problem I actually might have plans myself ” 'Plans?’ I thought to myself while sipping on my tea. “Well since my precious munchkin y/n took so long I need to go help at the store” “Ok mom” I said doing grabbing hands toward her as she stood up so she’d hug me. “Bye guys” she said turning to them. We turned to see clay gulping his drink down, “I actually should get going to, and ummm hey I can finally give you that bike ride” he said toward Hannah. “Yeah sure helmet ” Clay stood up and said his goodbyes and left with Hannah. “Well that was shortly lived” I said making jeff chuckle “Yeah” “Well thanks for the ride but I think I’m due a nice bath ” I smiled about to get up “Yeah but-” he starting making me stop “I was wondering if maybe you’d like to go hang out in the park if you want to of course later after your bath” “I mean I would love to but what about your plans?” He only looked at me panfaced when it hit me “Oohhhh” “Yeah” he said smirking “Ok yeah sure” “Great … so umm…. could I drive you home right now?” “Right, yeah” I said standing up while he did the same . At the exit door he made sure to get to the door and open it before me and the same for the car door. “Thank you Atkins ” I said smiling “No problem "he said getting into the car as he took off. "Ok so the address is y/a/n ” •your address name - “Got it” he said, “hey you said you did cheer right?” “Yeah funny story so um……..” -time skip here with conversation- We made it into my drive way “Well thanks and I’ll see you at…?” “Six work for you?” “Yeah ok six” I was going to reach for the door but he locked it making me laugh “You said you wouldn’t kidnap me today” “Maybe I lied ” he shrugged and got out to which I got the message “Not on my watch Atkins” I said trying to open my own door again but he locked it and opened when he got there. “I’ll get it one day” I said stepping out with my things. “Thanks” I said when he Leaned in and gave me a hug . ((HA bet you thought I was gonna say kiss not on my watch )) “See ya y/n” “Bye” I said as he got back in and waited for me to go into my house. I took out my keys and opened my gate to go into my house

God what a day a hug and so much time sent with him I smiled to myself. As I got closer to the door I saw my mom grinning ear to ear good she saw that…
