I don’t want to start drama but I’ve seen some concerning posts floating around about how distasteful and disappointing it is to see certain creators “support” Dorian and I hate to break it to you guys, but if you’ve ever interacted, shared or created anything regarding The Arcana you are supporting Dorian yourselves.
Being in the fandom alone is supporting Dorian by creating engagement, publicizing the game and being part of the audience they’re trying to target.
And even if you were to delete your whole blog and everything you’ve ever posted to enjoy the original game in private you would still be supporting Dorian by bringing traffic to the app they now own.
The one and only way you have to stop supporting Dorian, if you care about it so much, would be to distance yourself from the series entirely and go join another fandom. Never play the original game ever again and never interact with any fan creation regarding it from now on. 👋

So I ended up reading about type 2 diabetes in case there is something I'm missing that my doctors are also missing and there are some sources saying there's no link to sugar intake and the disorder but at the same these sources talk about "high carbohydrate intake" which are... essentially sugars
But just as insulin resistance, diabetes type 2's origins are not fully known yet but can be linked not only with diet but also stress, trauma, genetics and so on and so forth
My general take is stopping giving a fuck what strangers are eating because you are not entitled nor will know everyone's disorders but also spreading information about good habits and improving your diet - not to lose weight, but to feel better.
But I still would encourage others to include less processed foods, fruit, vegetables and information how to spot better quality meals in general - not choosing cheap supermarket food if you can help it, buy high quality meat, fresh veggies and do eat comfort foods but in moderation. Not only to improve mood but also to let your body rest, because dieting of any kind can exhaust your body and the effect might be opposite to what you want to achieve.

...nvm about that, I think I might be the stupid one this evening and misinterpreted a few of their posts after getting rubbed the wrong way
You're not stupid!! I appreciate you doing your due diligence, I get where you were coming from and I'm greatful when ppl bring stuff like this to my attention. I try to stay on top of stuff like that and do background checks even if the blogs familiar just in case but in this case I don't think she ever meant to come off that way. Don't beat urself up
