Xiaomi Mi TV 5X 55
The budget and mid-range television sectors in India are largely covered by Xiaomi and its Redmi sub-brand, but Xiaomi will always place a premium on value, which also extends to higher-end models. The Mi TV line has been mostly characterised by huge screens, a tonne of features, smart software, and discrete design. The company's most recent television offering, the Mi TV 5X, aims to continue that trend while maintaining the competitive and affordable cost that has drawn customers to the brand. The Xiaomi Mi TV 5X 55-inch Ultra-HD LED Smart TV, which costs Rs. 45,999 in India, looks quite nice on paper and offers capable performance without requiring you to spend a lot of money. Dolby is one of its most important features.Vision, hands-free Google Assistant voice commands, and the union of the company's well-liked PatchWall UI with Android TV 10. Is this the best 55-inch television under 50,000 rupees that is currently available? Learn more from this review. Design and technical details of the 55-inch Xiaomi Mi TV The Mi logo had previously been included on televisions from Xiaomi's Mi brand, but the Mi TV 5X marks a significant change. The Mi TV 5X, although though it's still referred to as a "Mi TV," demonstrates the business's decision to move to "Xiaomi" as its brand name on future products, as was stated by the company. The new Xiaomi logo is prominently shown just below the screen, above the module with the power button and a few indicator lights. It is displayed on a silver strip. The Mi TV 5X distinguishes out from the competitors and other televisions from Xiaomi like the Redmi TV X Series and Mi TV 4X range thanks to the rest of the screen's borders, which are noticeably thinner and a similar shade of silver. Although the Mi TV 5X isn't quite as thin as some of the high-end TVs I've recently evaluated, it is still relatively well-built and not overly thick, especially at the bottom, where it bulges slightly. When mounted on a wall or a stand, it looks nice for a TV in its price range. A second set of inputs and ports are located to the left of the screen, and the lower portion of the TV's back has a texture resembling carbon fibre. The two USB ports, three HDMI 2.1 ports, and 3.5mm audio out socket are on the left, while the Ethernet, optical audio out, composite AV input, and antenna port are on the right. These less-used connections all face downward. The television can be wall-mounted with any aftermarket VESA-compatible kit or put on a stand using the aluminium stands that come with the unit. At the time of installation, Xiaomi can offer a wall-mount kit for an additional fee.  AmazonBasics 55-Inch Fire TV Edition Ultra-HD HDR Smart LED TV Review While I am reviewing the 55-inch Mi TV 5X model, which costs Rs. 45,999, you can also choose the 50-inch and 43-inch models, which are respectively priced at Rs. 41,999 and Rs. 31,999 in India. All three of them are Ultra-HD TVs that can support HDR content up to Dolby Vision. Xiaomi Mi QLED TV 4K 55-inch Ultra-HD Android TV (L55M6)  A 55-inch Ultra-HD (3840x2160-pixel) LED-backlit screen, Dolby Vision and HDR10+ high dynamic range codecs are supported by the Mi TV 5X 55.   This television's two speakers can support Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD, and its 40W sound output is rated. One of the HDMI connections supports HDMI ARC, and connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi ac and Bluetooth 5. The TV is equipped with a quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of app and app data storage. Remote and features of the Xiaomi Mi TV 5X 55 While Xiaomi's televisions have undergone general design and branding changes over the past few months and years, the company's approach to the remote has remained relatively consistent. The Mi TV 5X has Xiaomi's well-known, simplistic remote, but disappointingly—though this was to be expected—the necessary AAA batteries are not provided in the sales package.   Blaupunkt 43-inch Ultra-HD LED CyberSound Android TV (43CSA7070) I'm fairly accustomed to the remote in and of itself, and the company's software enhancements like Quick Mute and Quick Settings access have long since made up for its physical flaws. It's well-equipped to get you anywhere in the TV's software quickly, and you can simply navigate both Xiaomi's PatchWall UI and the Stock Android TV UI.   Other noteworthy features of the Mi TV 5X include hands-free Google Assistant access, an auto-low-latency mode for use with gaming consoles, built-in Google Chromecast with support for Ultra-HD and HDR casting from supported apps and services, and the option to set Alexa as your default voice assistant if you'd rather.   I'm fairly accustomed to the remote in and of itself, and the company's software enhancements like Quick Mute and Quick Settings access have long since made up for its physical flaws. It's well-equipped to get you anywhere in the TV's software quickly, and you can simply navigate both Xiaomi's PatchWall UI and the Stock Android TV UI.   Similar to a smart speaker like the Google Nest Audio, the television contains a microphone that can be programmed to constantly be listening for the wake phrases "OK Google" or "Hey Google." If you wish to avoid using voice commands or have privacy concerns, it's easy to turn off the microphone using a physical sliding switch.   The Best TVs You Can Buy   Software and UI for the 55-inch Xiaomi Mi TV 5X Anyone who has previously used a Xiaomi television will be familiar with the software experience on the Xiaomi Mi TV 5X, much like they are with the remote. The television uses Android TV 10 with Xiaomi's customised PatchWall 4 launcher in addition to the basic Android TV user interface. Users have full access to the Google Play Store for Android TV to download any of the more than 5,000 accessible apps, and all popular apps are supported.   Since there are no actual manufacturer-imposed restrictions in this case, users of other Android TV devices will be familiar with the stock Android TV UI. When material is playing in the interface, you can access the settings by long-pressing the Mi   The majority of titles in PatchWall 4 have IMDB ratings integrated into them. Additionally, the information pages for titles with more information now have a fresh layout. The TV's settings, various source inputs, and any additional apps that you might have installed on the TV are all easily accessible through PatchWall.     Wall Mount or on a Stand? What You Need to Know Before Setting Up Your New TV   Due to its content-centric approach, PatchWall will appeal to users that love a lot of suggestions and content curation. It's also important to note that the Mi TV 5X supports the Mi Home app via the PatchWall launcher. If you have the Mi Home app linked to your Google account, you can use voice commands to control IoT devices in your home through your TV. If you own and utilise gadgets like the Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop P and Mi LED Wi-Fi Smart Bulb, this might be practical for you.   Mi TV 5X 55 from Xiaomi performance Aside from its appealing appearance and appealing features, the Xiaomi Mi TV 5X 55 is also well-suited to give a pleasurable viewing experience thanks to its value-driven design. For a 55-inch television around Rs. 50,000, picture and sound quality are excellent. They give the impression of a big screen TV while also performing well across resolutions and content kinds. However, I did occasionally experience lag and UI performance difficulties, which I'll go into more detail about in this section. Mi TV 5X 55 from Xiaomi performance High dynamic range (HDR) television with support for the HDR10+ and Dolby Vision formats is the Mi TV 5X 55. Given its 55-inch size, this TV is obviously best suited for high-end programming, such the Dolby Vision films and TV shows available on Netflix and Disney+ Hotstar, which looked noticeably better than everything else I viewed.   Dolby Vision: What Is It, and How Does It Make Your Movies and TV Shows Better? The Mi TV 5X made it fun to view the popular Korean TV show Squid Game in Ultra-HD and Dolby Vision on Netflix. The colours were refined and striking but didn't exactly pop as much as on more expensive TVs, giving the image a soft, laid-back feel. The television discreetly but effectively emphasised the vivid pinks and greens of the guards' and contestants' clothing.   The image is clear and detailed without being overly abrupt and rough. Smoothness pervaded Ultra-HD footage, while Dolby Vision content appeared even better thanks to brightness and contrast. On the Mi TV 5X, visually appealing programmes like Our Planet looked impressive.   The largest advantage of Dolby Vision on the Mi TV 5X was in the tone, even though there was a noticeable increase in brightness and the opportunity to have different levels of contrast and impact in the same frame with HDR material. The lighthearted Somebody Feed Phil appeared bright and joyful as Phil Rosenthal explored towns and their distinctive eateries, but this television typically captured the tone and flavour of TV episodes well. It gave a dismal, dark feel to shows like Squid Game and films like Greyhound on Apple TV+.   When it comes to black levels, many LED-backlit TVs, especially those that cost less than Rs. 50,000, have a tendency to stutter. While not nearly as stunning as televisions like the OnePlus TV Q1 Pro (which includes local dimming), the Mi TV 5X manages to handle darker scenes and black tones pretty well. The screen did have a slight grey wash, but it wasn't as strong or annoying as on the Redmi TV X55, which costs approximately Rs. 5,000 less than the Mi TV 5X. As a result, dimly lit rooms produced decent-looking dark movies, but brilliant sequences were still watchable when sunlight directly hit the TV. While normal dynamic range and standard definition video are obviously less appealing to watch than HDR, they were nevertheless watchable on the Mi TV 5X 55. The TV handled the older, upscaled footage of the Bulls' legendary championship runs and Michael Schumacher's F1 dominance in the 1990s particularly well. Other full-HD content on Netflix, including The Good Place, Parks and Recreation, and Schumacher, was enjoyable to watch. Across resolutions and content, this TV provided a viewing experience that was consistently bright, clear, and clean.   In typical viewing conditions, the Mi TV 5X's sound is comfortable and decent; the TV can get pretty loud thanks to its 40W speakers. Without too many abrupt volume changes, the sound is well-balanced and homogeneous. Interestingly, the Mi TV 5X does not enable Dolby Atmos identification by content platforms; Netflix and Disney+ Hotstar all showed capability for 5.1-channel audio at best. Dolby Atmos is supported on the TV and was activated with a slider switch in the sound settings menu.   Instead, it appears that this TV upscales the sound stream at the hardware level when Dolby Atmos is enabled. With the majority of content, this still made a small difference in the sound quality. While watching Squid Game, some virtualized surround effects could be heard, and generally, the audio felt a little more polished and detailed. The sound was good enough even with this off or with content that doesn't really benefit from the format. Having said that, a quality speaker system like the Sony HT-S40R, which I reviewed alongside this TV, could enhance the audio quality.   Despite the Mi TV 5X's typically good picture and sound quality and overall positive software experience, I did occasionally run across performance issues. These included sporadic Wi-Fi connection dropouts, sluggish reactions to button presses from the remote, and intermittent image lag and stuttering when streaming Ultra-HD material.   Additionally, I occasionally noticed subtitle timing issues, where the words would show on screen a second or two late but still clear on schedule. This made it challenging to follow along when watching foreign-language programming. Even while these problems weren't too unpleasant and were frequently resolved by turning the TV on and off again, they did occasionally occur, so they are worth mentioning. Read the full article

From Startups to the Supreme Court, Coronavirus Has Changed The World

From Startups to the Supreme Court, Coronavirus Has Changed The World
Tumblr media
Three months ago, the idea that most video conferences will happen with at least one child or more making a ruckus in the background would have seemed strange, but coronavirus-related lockdown around the world is turning this kind of scene into the norm now. As COVID-19 continues to spread — with more positive cases and deaths being reported every day — people across the world have turned to unique method to tackle the problem and ‘flatten the curve’ by social distancing.
In order to prevent the virus’ spread beyond the reasonable capacity of healthcare systems, and to protect vulnerable members of society, many are staying at home, going out only for necessary reasons, and avoiding large gatherings. But society needs to keep functioning, and many people need to keep going to their workplaces to be productive.
Another big challenge in this critical time is shortages of key products and goods. Big cities across India have been facing hand sanitiser shortages, while Western countries have seen hoarders stockpile unreasonably large quantities of toilet paper.
With the need for remoteness at this time, our reliance on technology and the Internet is more firm than ever. Tech companies are stepping up to offer better access and features to keep consumers productive and safe even while at home for prolonged periods.
Core functions
The World Health Organisation’s advice to countries is to ‘test test test’, but this is easier said than done in most places. The private sector is stepping in, with a huge initiative called Project Baseline by Verily Life Sciences, owned by Google’s parent company Alphabet. The company is now offering COVID-19 testing in the Bay Area of California.
The Supreme Court of India is also considering measures to take the courtroom online, with virtual courts coming soon to avoid large gatherings.
Yet at the same time, religious gatherings in India are carrying on unchecked. Given how a church gathering in Korea triggered a domino effect of infections, this is a matter of concern, and virtual alternatives should be sought for such matters as well. Such methods to keep society running smoothly even in the face of a pandemic could change the way we do things even after things have settled.
Watching movies and TV shows at home
The point of social distancing is to stay away from crowded public spaces, which naturally means you won’t be able to go to the theatre. That’s where OTT platforms come in, letting users stream content and stay caught up on their entertainment in the comfort of their homes.
Universal Studios has taken what is perhaps the most significant step in this regard, giving iTunes, Amazon, and other digital platform users in the US access to movies that are still running in theatres (or would be if theatres were open) at discounted rental prices. The Hunt, Emma, and The Invisible Man will be available to rent on iTunes for $20, thereby making it easier for people to watch new movies without having to actually go outside. Upcoming movie Trolls World Tour, scheduled to release on April 10 in theatres (April 17 in India), will be available to stream on the same day.
Tumblr media
The reason this is important is because it paves the way for movies to come to streaming platforms sooner after the theatrical run than currently. More users would avoid going out in the hope that the movies they want to watch will be available to stream in a matter of weeks rather than months, shifting viewing habits online in the long-run. Could this be the end of cinema chains, already struggling to make money? Will they go the way of theatres, and become a niche entertainment while the world simply moves on to streaming?
On the other hand, streaming platforms themselves are doing more to offer better and more relevant content at this time. Although not linked to the pandemic, Disney+ entering India will gives users a whole new catalogue of quality content to watch at this time. Hotstar could have handled the launch a lot better, though.
Some services have even been promoting movies such as Contagion and Outbreak as a means to offer consumers a fictionalised but educative insight into life in the times of a pandemic. Meanwhile, a new Netflix docuseries – Pandemic: How To Prevent An Outbreak – makes for particularly relevant viewing at this time.
Faster internet for more productivity at home
With more people working from home, Internet speed, FUP limits, and reliability is of the essence. We haven’t seen much from the vast majority of Indian Internet service providers in this regard, with the exception of ACT Fibernet; the company is offering free speed upgrades and unlimited FUPs to its users till March 31 to facilitate working from home.
Similar steps are being taken by ISPs in the US, with Comcast taking the big step of offering free Wi-Fi, a waiver on data caps and late payment fees, and a promise to not disconnect any connections during the outbreak. Steps such as these will be remembered by users even after things go back to normal, and show that big companies are trying to do their bit at this time.
After people spend weeks or even months working from home, how many will want to get back to traffic jams and open plan office spaces? If people are able to manage work from home without losing productivity, would their employers also encourage more remote work, in order to reduce the amount of office real estate they have to manage? Although the current lockdown plan is just a short term one, it’s impact could well be very long term.
Education is shifting online
Social distancing is particularly critical in education, but putting shutting schools and colleges down completely isn’t the ideal solution. To tackle this, courses are shifting online, with apps and video conferencing tools helping classes continue to function remotely.
Video conferencing tool Zoom recently announced that it is offering its services to public K-12 schools in a handful of affected countries for free. Similar steps are being taken by Kahoot, Scholastic abroad.
In India as well, platforms such as Vedantu, Toppr, and Byjus are offering free online courses to keep students occupied at home. The pandemic represents a massive opportunity for ed-tech to step up and show how it can keep education functions flowing even when participants are remotely located.
Meet Namya Joshi, the 13-Year-Old From Ludhiana Whom Satya Nadella Praised On Stage
At the same time, it’s important to remember — particularly in a country like India — that not all students have access to the Internet and smart devices. It’s going to be challenging to make sure that no child gets left behind, and even as virtual classrooms gain steam, we should not lose sight of the marginalises people in our society.
Making it easy to not go out
Various other companies are making it easier to avoid going out in unique ways, or keeping productivity high digitally. OnePlus is offering doorstep repairs for its devices, while various food delivery platforms including Swiggy, Zomato, McDonalds, and Dominos have introduced ‘contactless’ deliveries.
Tumblr media
With contactless delivery, the executive will leave your order outside your door
Korg and Moog are enabling musicians to continue working even away from their equipment by making their synthesiser apps for iOS and Android free for a limited time. Adobe too is enabling students to access its Creative Cloud apps amidst closures, to allow them to keep learning and working on apps that are typically only accessed on university campuses.
The rise of the bidet spray
Finally, we address a core bodily function, and how Coronavirus is changing things. Although toilet paper hoarding isn’t a huge problem in India because of the way things are done here, it’s affecting people in the West significantly. Incredibly enough, buyers are turning to the good old bidet spray as a way to keep clean, with sales going up in markets such as North America, where its adoption has typically been limited.
In conclusion, the Coronavirus outbreak could change the way we as a society operate; the social aspects of our lives could change significantly even after the threat of COVID-19 is dealt with, with technology playing a huge part in the future.

Realme 6 Pro Launch Date, Samsung Galaxy M31 Price Reveal, Jio Phone Plans, and More Tech News This Week
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Realme 6 Pro and Realme 6 launch date reveal and Samsung Galaxy M31 announcement dominated the conversation in a rather busy week in terms of tech news development. Huawei had big plans for MWC Barcelona 2020, however in the wake of its cancellation, the company unveiled the new Mate Xs phone as a part of an online-only event. It is the second foldable phone from the company and keeps the same form factor as its first one. Given the Huawei Mate X was never released outside China, the Mate Xs will become the company’s first foldable to get a global release.
The Best Budget TVs You Can Buy in India Right Now
Huawei Mate Xs will go on sale in March, priced at EUR 2,499 (roughly Rs. 1,93,000). In terms of the specifications, the phone is powered by Kirin 990 SoC, and packs an 8-inch flexible screen. You will also get 4,500mAh battery, four rear cameras, Android 10 without Google apps or Play Store, and a upgraded “falcon wing” hinge.
Redmi K30 Pro teased to launch in March
Xiaomi is preparing to launch the second phone in its Redmi K30-series in China in March. The company has started teasing the smartphone and has also discontinued the Redmi K30 Pro in its home market. Redmi K30 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC and sport a full-screen design, same as its predecessor.
There is no word on the India release right now, and there is a possibility that Redmi K30 Pro may debut as Poco F2 in the country, given the company launched Redmi K30 as Poco X2 in the Indian market. Other specifications of the phone are a mystery at this point, but given Xiaomi propensity for revealing pretty much everything about its phone before their official launch, we won’t have to wait for long.
Sony Xperia 1 II, Xperia Pro, Xperia 10 II announcement
Sony unveiled three new phones this week. While the new Xperia 1 II and Xperia 10 II are targeted to regular consumers, the Xperia Pro is aimed at creative professionals. Sony Xperia 10 II, on the other hand, is a mid-range phone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chip.
New Jio Phone plans and other telecom news this week
In telecom news, Reliance Jio launched two new prepaid recharge plans for Jio Phone subscribers this week. Priced at Rs. 69 and Rs. 49, the new plans come with a validity of just 14 days. These Jio Phone plans are aimed at customers who wants shorter validity. Talking about the new Rs. 69 Jio Phone plan, it offers 0.5GB high speed data per day, Jio to Jio unlimited voice calls, 250 minutes of Jio to non-Jio voice calls, 25 SMS messages, and complimentary access to all Jio apps.
Netflix March 2020 Releases: Kiara Advani, Manisha Koirala, Hayao Miyazaki, and More
The Jio Phone Rs. 49 plan, on the other hand, offers just 2GB of total data, Jio to Jio unlimited calls, 250 minutes of Jio to non-Jio calls, 25 SMS messages, and access to all Jio subscription services. These plans are now available via Reliance Jio website, MyJio app, and third-party recharge websites.
Additionally, Jio reduced the validity of its Rs. 1,299 prepaid plan for regular Jio subscribers. The plan used to last for 365 days earlier, but now it will also run for 336 days. The revised Jio Rs. 1,299 prepaid plan offers 24GB of 4G data, unlimited Jio to Jio voice calling, 12,000 Jio to non-Jio voice calling minutes, and 3,600 SMS messages. Furthermore, it also offers complimentary subscription of Jio suite of apps as well.
All these plan revisions and tariff hike has impacted Reliance Jio’s subscriber base. The latest data released by TRAI revealed that the telco onboarded just over 82,000 new subscribers in December last year, massive downfall from the 56,08,668 new subscribers that it had added in November. Jio’s total subscriber base increased from 36,99,33,852 in November to 37,00,16,160 subscribers by the end of December.

The plan will include 1GB of mobile data per day, unlimited incoming calls, 500 minutes of outgoing calls to India and within the host country, and unlimited incoming SMS for 10 days.
Apple Online Store coming to India this year and other news
Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed during the company’s annual shareholder meeting this week that the iPhone maker is finally going to launch its online store in the country this year. Cook also said that Apple will launch its physical retail stores starting 2021. Apple currently sells its products via partner retailers and distributors.
Netflix was spotted testing yet another change this week in India. The streaming giant seems to be mulling to move the mobile plan and Rs. 499 base plan subscribers to HD quality, from the existing SD quality. Since, the change is still being testing, there is no word it will reach all subscribers. Netflix told Gadgets 360 that the better video quality option has been available since early February in India.
Lastly, WhatsApp seems to be developing dark mode for its desktop app as well as WhatsApp Web. Dark mode for both is currently in development and in its early stages, and the feature isn’t publicly available yet. There is no expected launch timeline either.

New Post Vivo Z1 Pro Review - The Killer Smartphone for Killer Price! has been published on https://www.reviewcenter.in/9122/vivo-z1-pro-review-the-killer-smartphone-for-killer-price/
Vivo Z1 Pro Review - The Killer Smartphone for Killer Price!
Vivo India which has primarily been an offline brand with a strong network all-over India for sales and after-sales service now projects to dominate the online market by offering price-competitive specs loaded smartphones. To take on the likes of Xiaomi and Realme, Vivo launched the all-new Z1 Pro at very aggressive pricing with specs which most of the brand couldn’t match. Not only Vivo Z1 Pro is a strong offering pricing wise, but it is also equipped with excellent hardware, an attractive design, and packs really cool features. This is why it is now of the best phone you can buy under Rs 20,000 range.
Quick Specs of Vivo Z1 Pro
Display Size 6.53 Inch Resolution 1080 x 2340 pixels Performance CPU Dual core, 2.3 GHz + Hexa Core, 1.7 GHz, Snapdragon 712 RAM 4 GB Storage Internal memory 64 GB External memory Up to 256 GB Battery Capacity 5000mAh, Li-ion, Non-removable Camera Primary camera 16 MP Secondary camera 32 MP Connectivity Network support Dual SIM 4G Other options Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS Others Battery Capacity 5000 Operating system Android 9.0 Pie
Vivo Z1 Pro is the first device in India which comes with Snapdragon 712 Chipset. This processor offers 10% better performance compared to Snapdragon 710 chip and consists of two quad-core clusters tuned at 2.1GHz and 1.7GHz respectively. Along with it, there are different variants with 4 GB and 6 GB of RAM. This is something that no other phone makers could provide to consumers at this price.
Premium in Looks & Design
Vivo is known for its features loaded premium smartphones, and in Vivo Z1 Pro too, they followed their same premium design philosophy with no compromise even when they packed a 5,000 mAh battery in it. I had the Sonic Blue colour variant for review and the other two variants are Sonic Blank and Mirror Black.
I absolutely loved the phone looks and if you like funky colours, you’re totally going to appreciate the appearance of Sonic Blue Variant. The mixture of blue and bottle green on the back panel with a smooth transition all over enhance the aesthetics of the smartphone. Although it has a polycarbonate back, it doesn’t feel cheap at all and keep the phone light as it already has a huge battery which adds to the weight.
Even when this phone packs such big battery, it doesn’t feel thick, so that’s a quietly commendable step taken by Vivo for the design of the phone. It’s a big phone and those who need bigger phones or are in the habit of using longer phone are going to love it.
There is no notch on the phone because there is an in-display camera on the top-left corner of the display. The right edge of the phone has got the power and the volume rockers, while the left edge has the SIM-tray (Dual SIM + MicroSD slot) along with a dedicated Google Assistant button. Vivo calls it Smart Button though because it is programmable. At the bottom, there is the single speaker grille, 3.5mm audio port, and the micro USB port for charging the device and data transfer. Overall, the phone is a combination of great design and great hardware.
The Ultra FullView Display is a Treat
Vivo Z1 Pro packs a huge bright 6.53-inch Ultra FullView display with slim bezels. Since Z1 Pro is a gaming focussed phone, because of a bigger display, it offers great gaming as well as the multimedia experience. The display is quite bright and I didn’t face any issue in visibility under sunlight. But the biggest highlight here is the in-display selfie camera which doesn’t take up much space and sits nicely in the corner.
The viewing angles on the display were great, colours were punchy and the contrast was just right. Overall Vivo Z1 pro offers a great content viewing experience, so no matter if you watch visual content or play games, Vivo Z1 Pro has got you covered.
Great Camera for the Price
The Vivo Z1 Pro packs a triple camera setup on the back and a single 32-megapixel on the front. Now, the triple camera set up on the back consists of a 16-megapixel primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.78. Along with that, a super-wide 8-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor are there.
The super-wide lens lets you capture shots with a different perspective providing a very large field of view, making it possible to fit a group of people in frame or capture large objects without going far away from it. The 2-megapixel camera is used only for depth sensing and it helps you capture portrait shots. The rear camera setup is also powered by AI, that makes adjustments while taking photos and there are tons of features like Night Mode, Portrait Light Effects, Live Photo, Backlight HDR, AR Stickers, Slow Motion, Time Lapse and many more other modes.
Now, in terms of camera quality, the Vivo Z1 Pro is actually a very good choice in my opinion as I tested its camera thoroughly for quite some time. I tried capturing photos in all kinds of lighting scenarios, and well it performed really well, compared to phones that cost almost the same or even costlier than the Vivo Z1 Pro.
In good lighting conditions, the Vivo Z1 Pro clicks detailed and sharp pictures, that is pleasant to view with very accurate colours and perfect saturation levels. The wide-angle camera is superb too. It holds all the details, maintains saturation level well and the photos taken with it are near perfect with no bending at the edges.
In low lighting conditions, the Vivo Z1 Pro performs fairly well, thanks to the Night Mode available on the phone. Even without using night mode I clicked a few shots, which were kinda good but lacked details. But when it turned the Night Mode on, it completely got rid of grains and washed out colours. The separation between light and dark was perfect and the shots turned out really good. The portrait mode works well on the phone with good edge detection and natural blur.
The front-facing camera on the Vivo Z1 Pro is a 32-megapixel shooter that holds plenty of details, and this time looks like Vivo has decided to lower down the beautification a bit so that the shots are well detailed, showing all the blemishes on face and many people, including me, prefer that rather than a softened photo that lacks detail.
Performance for Every Kind of User
No matter whether you’re a power user who pushes the phone to its limits or a regular user or a gamer, the Vivo Z1 Pro can fulfil the needs of every kind of users, even those who want a phone that lasts all day. I’m kinda a versatile user and to test phones, I usually use the phone in different ways.
When I first got the phone, I just set it up and installed the apps I use most like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Twitter, Telegram along with the most essential apps I use. The multitasking experience was great, there were no lags, web browsing was smooth. Then I moved on to a different usage pattern which included the apps I always use, along with streaming apps like Netflix, Hotstar, and games.
The #VivoZ1Pro is a killer offering by @Vivo_India. It has all the things one ask for like:
SD 721 Powerful processor Triple rear Camera 5K mAh battery FHD+ Display 32MP In-display front camera, Literally the best phone for Pubg Price: Rs 14,990
Truly it's a #FullyLoaded phone! pic.twitter.com/iY8GYSlpHG
— Ankit Chugh 🌪️ (@luckyankit) July 3, 2019
I was usually streaming cricket matches and TV shows, playing games like PUBG Mobile and Asphalt 9, which are quite power hungry games. The Vivo Z1 Pro was able to handle that very well. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 712, coupled with Adreno 616 GPU handled everything well, be it gaming, streaming or multitasking!
Full of Useful Features
The Vivo Z1 Pro runs Android 9.0 Pie out of the box, which is a good thing, but it has got Vivo’s own Funtouch OS skin on top of it. The Funtouch OS transforms Android 9 into something that looks quite similar to iOS, but it works like Android as it is supposed to be.
Highest in battery, best in display, camera & gaming – @Vivo_India #VivoZ1Pro is the handsdown winner among its competitors like Redmi Note 7 Pro and Samsung Galaxy M40!
Not only by specs, the OS optimizations & the features it offers, this #FullyLoaded phone is a clear winner! pic.twitter.com/vbmtJ8Msal
— Ankit Chugh 🌪️ (@luckyankit) July 3, 2019
The quick settings are at the bottom, which may make sense for many, but is exactly the opposite to how it is supposed to work on any Android phone. However, Funtouch OS has got some features that you might miss on many other phones. One of them is Dark Mode, which turns all the popular apps dark.
There is the Game Cube feature, which is kinda like a Gaming assistant. It can be configured to start up as soon as a game is launched. It lets the user block incoming calls, notifications, and tweaks many other settings to get the best gaming experience.
A Battery That Lasts All Day
The Vivo Z1 Pro packs a huge 5000mAh battery and even during the intense usage, I was able to get one full day battery life easily. If you’re a regular user and don’t play games, the battery could last one and a half day. The battery, despite being a huge one charges quite fast when you need that little extra juice, thanks to the 18W charger included in the package itself. But well, for a full top-up, the phone takes almost two hours to get fully charged from 0%-100%.
Final Thoughts?
The Vivo Z1 Pro is a near perfect phone at this price, I would say. There is a minor shortcoming like micro USB instead of USB-C but that’s not any deal breaker. Apart from that, I don’t see any reasons why you shouldn’t buy this phone and micro USB is sometimes still better for heavy gamers than USB-C because if you forget to carry your own cable, you may not find a USB-C cable around easily.
Apart from that, the Vivo Z1 Pro checks all the boxes where phones are expected to perform well – Display, Design, Camera, Performance, and Battery. The Vivo Z1 Pro comes with a starting price of Rs. 14,990 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage costs Rs. 16,990. The top variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs. 18,990. At these price tags, all the variants of the phone are worth spending your money on and if you need everything to be good on a phone, the Vivo Z1 Pro is definitely a choice!

The Redmi Smart TV X released today can also be said to come out. As Redmi ’s first smart TV, Redmi Smart TV X offers three versions of 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch. There has also been an all-round improvement, not only focusing on the surface parameters such as resolution and size but also starting to focus on image quality and performance.
This time the Redmi Smart TV X55 has been upgraded in all aspects in terms of performance and picture quality. All departments are equipped with a new Novatek (Novatek) high-end TV chip, A73 * 2 + A53 * 2 CPU architecture plus Mali G51 MP3 GPU, support for 4K decoding while also adding real-time scene recognition and optimization functions On the improvement and improvement of the picture quality performance of the entire TV.
In addition, Redmi Smart TV X also supports the MEMC motion compensation function, through chip algorithm to enhance the insertion of the real picture, eliminate the low frame rate resource when the playback is stuck, can make the display screen more smooth, for movies, animation For sports events, it is a great tool to enhance the viewing experience.
In terms of sound quality, Redmi Smart TV X also continued its efforts this time, equipped with 4 12.5W full-range, high-frequency speakers plus 4 passive low-frequency speakers, combined with Dolby sound enhancement technology, this time the TV sound effect is also a big Highlights, the sound when watching the blockbuster is shocking enough.
Other aspects, such as the design of the full screen with narrow borders, the blessing of the metal frame, the larger body memory, storage, and interaction with the rich IoT ecosystem of Xiaomi and Mijia, are all Redmi intelligence. TV X has to pay attention to the highlights, then, let us slowly experience in the detailed evaluation.
Redmi Smart TV X Design
#gallery-0-5 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-5 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 50%; } #gallery-0-5 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-5 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
There are three sizes of Redmi Smart TV X this time. We received a 55-inch version, Redmi Smart TV X55. Take out the body and assemble it. The narrow-frame full-screen design of the Redmi Smart TV X55 is very eye-catching. With the increase in size, the screen ratio will be further improved. Under the largest 65-inch, it is presumed that this full-screen design will be more stunning.
Close-up of the corners, you can see the extremely narrow black borders and the design of the metal outer frame. The structure of the metal frame can be seen more clearly from the back. The splicing process is used. Considering its price, it is justifiable to not use a higher-cost integrated molding. Right below the middle part of the screen, Redmi’s LOGO, a signal receiver, indicator light, and physical buttons of the switch are concentrated here.
The side close-up and the curved back design make the Redmi Smart TV X55 visually thinner than ordinary TVs of the same grade, and at the same time leave enough space for the heat dissipation of the backlight module and the driver board, without worrying about stability.
On the back, the interfaces of the Redmi Smart TV X55 are all distributed on the left side (facing the screen), the power supply is on the right side, the power adapter is built-in, and the external only needs to be connected with wires. However, the interfaces are far away from the frame, and daily installation may cause trouble.
The orientation of the rear interface is divided into two types: portrait and landscape. The horizontal interface is three HDMI 2.0 interfaces, one USB 3.0 interface, and one USB 2.0 interface. Compared with the vertically placed interface, it is easier to complete operations such as insertion. Vertically placed are the network cable socket, AV interface, S / PDIF interface, and an Antenna interface.
Close-up of the power supply, the power consumption of the Redmi Smart TV X55 is 120W. Close-up of the bracket, Redmi Smart TV X55 supports two installation methods of wall hanging and bracket. The design of the metal bracket takes into account space occupation and beautiful appearance. The included Redmi Smart TV X55 Bluetooth remote control is driven by two No. 3 batteries and is equipped with a voice button to activate the voice assistant of Xiaomi at any time.
Three, screen quality and picture quality: 85% NTSC color gamut VA screen motion compensation frame effect is obvious
Before talking about the picture quality of the Redmi Smart TV X55, let’s talk about its chip. Although many often value the panels of TVs and monitors, the role of image quality chips in the entire system is often overlooked. It can be said that the quality of the panel is the baseline of a TV, and the optimization and improvement of brightness, color, contrast and even sharpness under the blessing of the chip, and even the support of additional functions like MEMC are its best performance.
The Redmi Smart TV X55 uses Novatek’s NT7621D on the chip. From the architecture, it uses a more advanced combination of dual-core A73 + dual-core A52. The image quality algorithm is quite worth looking forward to. From the price point of view, the same size products equipped with the chip often cost more than 3,000 yuan. It can be said that the Redmi Smart TV X55 has once again achieved a “superior” price/performance ratio in terms of hardware configuration.
At least in terms of chips, this time the NT7621D on the Redmi Smart TV X55 will no longer become a controversial bottleneck as before. Next, let’s take a look at the screen quality of the Redmi Smart TV X55.
The first is the color gamut. The screen of the Redmi Smart TV X55 can achieve 100% sRGB color gamut coverage, and AdobeRGB color gamut coverage reaches 81%.
In terms of brightness and contrast, the maximum brightness of the Redmi Smart TV X55 reached 361nits in the test. Based on the results of multiple tests, the standard brightness of the screen should be 350nit. The contrast ratio of the screen is very high, reaching more than 2000: 1. Such a high contrast ratio is supposed to be a VA panel.
The magnified observation further verifies the speculation. The Redmi Smart TV X55 uses a VA panel with graded sub-pixels. Compared with the IPS panel, it will have higher contrast and darkfield performance. Darker will also have more details.
The entire screen has no dead pixels. Thanks to the advantages of the VA panel, the light leakage under the pure black display is not serious. Grayscale transition, all color blocks can be displayed, and the transition is even and natural.
It is also a test for grayscale. The levels of the bright and dark parts can reach excellent standards, the transition is uniform, the layers are clear, and there is no situation of unification.
In terms of viewing angle, all directions on the front can meet the requirements of clearly observing all the contents of the screen. The color block diagram of the color system used in the test is clearly layered, and there is no merging phenomenon.
In the 4K resolution test, the Redmi Smart TV X55’s screen itself is a true 4K panel. In the test, the details of the small characters that meet the 4K requirements can be clearly displayed.
Redmi Smart TV X55 supports dynamic contrast, local contrast, dynamic color, and other image quality optimization functions. The effect is very obvious when testing 4K pictures. After taking effect, the picture will not have the gray feeling before, and the color saturation and clarity The degree has been improved.
4K HDR video
Redmi Smart TV X55 also supports the playback of 4K HDR resources, which can enhance the dynamic range of the light and dark of the playback video, while retaining many details. However, its panel’s performance for HDR is not good (in HDR mode, the maximum brightness is only 350nit, and there is no partition backlight), so HDR can only be used as an icing dessert on the Redmi Smart TV X55 instead of the main dish.
Motion compensation is undoubtedly the biggest highlight of this time. In the previous products, this function only appeared on the super-sized flagship products. This time, it was fully decentralized to the Redmi Smart TV X55, which is a cost-effective model.
With the help of the chip’s algorithm, the Redmi Smart TV X55 can insert frames for pictures below the target frame rate (60FPS) when playing video resources. By automatically identifying the picture content, when the picture changes are consistent with short-distance movement and regularity After this condition, frame insertion will begin. After processing, the picture will become smoother, which is equivalent to the improvement of dynamic vision in general, and the observation of high-speed moving objects will be more clear.
Comparison of supplementary and non-complementary frames
For example, the most common pan-and-shift lens image in film and television is the scene that most easily triggers MEMC frame insertion. This type of video is often limited to 30 frames or 24 frames, and playing on a 60 Hz screen will have a certain sense of lag. At this time, with the blessing of MEMC, the change of fluency is obvious.
Comparing the slow motion of the frame with and without the frame
Through slow playback, you can more clearly see the effect of motion compensation. The frame rate of the picture played on the Redmi Smart TV X55 is significantly higher, and the original video picture will have a significant pause because of the insufficient frame rate.
In addition, Redmi Smart TV X55 is also very outstanding in sound. Four 12.5W speakers plus four passive low-frequency speakers perform quite well in sound. Coupled with the Dolby sound settings that come with the Redmi Smart TV X55, you can set different settings for the virtual sound and vocals. With stunning sound quality, you can customize it according to your needs.
In general, from the hardware configuration point of view, the Redmi Smart TV X55 can be described as sincere this time. The best panels and chips at the same price point, as well as good picture quality and audio specifications, use it to view film and television resources is definitely not a problem.
HDR Mode For Games
Of course, the TV is at home. In addition to watching TV programs and movies on a daily basis, there is also a relatively small demand for using TV as a screen for games.
Since you want to use it as a screen for games, you have to mention the input delay of the TV. Generally, high-end TVs can control the delay to about 20ms, but some cheaper products have not mentioned this. It will not be found until it is used, and the horror with high delay cannot be used in the game at all.
Input delay of Redmi Smart TV X55 underwired connection
Farewell to Caton, only 60 frames from now on! Redmi Smart TV X55 review: 1699 cost-effective flagship Input delay of Redmi Smart TV X55 under the wireless projection screen
Using the same screen, simply test the input delay of the Redmi Smart TV X55. In the case of a wired connection, the input delay is about 90ms, and the delay is greater under wireless projection, reaching about 150ms.
In terms of results, the 90ms wired input delay is acceptable. Like connecting a game console or a computer to play games, some non-fighting and FPS games have less stringent input delay requirements, and playing games under 90ms will not feel obvious frustration.
However, the 150ms delay of the wireless projection screen has a slightly greater impact. Considering that the current mainstream mobile games are mostly online games, there will be a wireless delay of about 50ms. If the comprehensive delay is 200ms, it will inevitably affect the game experience. Therefore, it is not recommended to use wireless projection to play mobile games on the Redmi Smart TV X55. Use PS4 to connect to the Redmi Smart TV X55 to see how it supports the game console and the picture quality.
Farewell to Caton, only 60 frames from now on! Redmi Smart TV X55 review: 1699 cost-effective flagship Redmi Smart TV X55 supports connecting to the host and turning on HDR mode
After setting the HDMI connection mode to HDMI 2.0, the PS4 Pro correctly recognized and turned on the HDR mode. Although the brightness of the Redmi Smart TV X55 is more general, its color performance is still improved compared to the SDR mode.

Redmi Smart TV X User experience
When it comes to user experience, the first thing to talk about is Redmi’s optimization of various interactions on TV. Unlike mobile phones and computers, the operation of the TV is often limited to the remote control, and the small space cannot carry more buttons. This requires manufacturers to design and play the value of all buttons.
Farewell to Caton, only 60 frames from now on! Redmi Smart TV X55 review: 1699 cost-effective flagship Long press the button to call the familiar setting menu
So in terms of control, many controls of the Redmi Smart TV X55 follow simple and effective logic, that is, there is a difference in the operation of tapping and long pressing. For example, taking the menu key, the short press often calls out the setting window of the current playback content, while a long press will call out the complete setting interface. After being familiar with this set of operating procedures, even if you only use one remote control, your operation will be smooth to take off.
In the modern era where the smart home concept is so popular, the control method of the Redmi Smart TV X55 is definitely not limited to this form of remote control. Redmi Smart TV X55 is equipped with the voice assistant of Xiaomi, which is also equipped with a microphone to support voice recognition, search for videos, search functions, and just move the mouth, eliminating the trouble of turning pages, entering, and searching.
Voice control can also be used to control the interface directly instead of the remote control. When voice control is activated, the entire screen will be paused, and at the same time all options will appear digital signs, with the help of digital signs can be remotely controlled in the voice.
Redmi Smart TV X55 can even be used as a home control hub. Comes with the Mijia APP, you can view the connection status of all smart homes, and also display the message pushed by the connected device in the form of a pop-up window, and display the monitoring screen in the form of picture-in-picture.
Of course, the control of the smart home has also been communicated with Xiaomi, so through voice control commands, you can give simple instructions, such as how long to perform what operation, or turn off a smart device, even more than directly in the APP Control is also convenient.
In terms of resources, Redmi Smart TV X55 integrates the contents of the five platforms of iQiyi, Youku, Tencent Video, Sohu Video, and PPTV. You can watch it directly without downloading additional APPs. In addition, the content of platforms such as Mango, Future TV, Huashu, BesTV, Bilibili, Ju Sports, Ju Wonder, Pumpkin Movie, 4K Garden, etc. , plus the puzzle wall system will automatically recommend preferences based on algorithms, You can turn pages as much as you like without worrying about watching no movies.
In terms of advertising, Redmi Smart TV X55 has also changed a lot. On the one hand, excellent advertisements are also valuable video content, and will not cause user rejection. On the other hand, all the advertisements of the Redmi Smart TV X55 can be skipped at the moment. This is not a strong buy and sell. All it does is push excellent content to users.
Cold start duration record
Simply test the boot time and advertising. Start the Redmi Smart TV X55 in a completely closed state. It takes a little longer. It takes about 15 seconds to enter the operability interface. Note that 15 seconds of advertising content will appear at the end of the start. At this time, press any key to skip and complete A cold start-up.
Wake up during sleep
Of course, according to everyone’s usage habits, there are very few cases of TV cold start, most of them are used to wake up in a sleep state. In this case, the Redmi Smart TV X55 only takes 2.5s to boot up, and no ads appear.

Verdict
In general, this Redmi Smart TV X55 has brought us full surprises in terms of the hardware configuration of the core chip, screen quality, picture quality optimization, and audio specifications. Unlike the previous pursuit of large-screen 4K, this time the Redmi Smart TV X finally began to pay attention to the improvement of TV picture quality, such as motion compensation, and various image quality optimization technologies are the best proof.
While the configuration is complemented, Redmi is indeed paying more and more attention to the user experience. The changes in advertising formats, the integration of video resources, and even the support of Xiaomi and Mijia have given Redmi Smart TV X55 its core competitiveness. Such a rich ecosystem is enough to distance itself from those traditional TV giants.
But in the final analysis, the competitive advantage of Redmi Smart TV X55 is still extremely high-cost performance. The so-called price-performance ratio is to use good steel on the blade and provide users with a superior experience at a reasonable price.
Redmi Smart TV X is undoubtedly finally on the road this time. The strong chip, MEMC motion compensation frame, and high-power speakers are all the key points to hit the core of the user experience. Plus the 1699 yuan this tempting price. For those who like Mijia For ecological users, this Redmi Smart TV X55 must be a good entry for family viewing.
Redmi Smart TV X Review: 4K HRD 55”inch Smart TV The Redmi Smart TV X released today can also be said to come out. As Redmi ’s first smart TV, Redmi Smart TV X offers three versions of 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch.

VIVO V15PRO CAMERA
The triple camera setup is in this phone, the primary is a 48-megapixel camera in this phone use same sensor as redmi note 7 Pro basically it’s shooting 12-megapixel shorts with the super high pixel size or interpellate 848 megapixels short with a lower pixel of sets. Detailing of the camera is quite impressive third camera is 8-megapixel wide camera and it’s captured the same amount of detail. The low light camera performance is not very well but it’s ok. As for selfie, the camera is pop up from inside the phone that’s why Vivo is able to provide a full-screen display without notch the front camera is based on Samsung sensor it suits 8 megapixels by default and it can crank up to 32 megapixels with some noise.

Xiaomi: 5 things you didn’t know about the Apple of the East Once the third largest smartphone manufacturer in the world, Xiaomi was founded in 2010. Its biggest markets are China and India, where the company overtook Samsung at the beginning of the year, becoming the highest selling brand in the country. Xiaomi is often referred to as the Apple of the East, mainly because its products resemble those of the iPhone maker. Even its MIUI Android skin feels like iOS, which is good or bad depending on who you ask. Here a few interesting things about Xiaomi you may not know. Xiaomi holds a Guinness World Record Guinness World Records In 2015, Xiaomi set a new Guinness World Record for selling the most smartphones on a single platform in 24 hours. The company offered various discounts during its annual fan festival and sold exactly 2,112,010 units on its website. Impressive! The previous record was held by Alibaba’s Tmall, which sold 1,894,867 handsets in 2014 over the course of 24 hours. In addition to smartphones, Xiaomi also sold 770,000 smart appliances, 247,000 power strips, 208,000 Mi Band fitness trackers, and 38,000 smart TVs — none of that was record-breaking, though. It generated 2.08 billion yuan in revenue(~$420 million). Not bad for a day’s work. Xiaomi has limited its profit margin to 5% — forever Xiaomi Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun, announced in April that the company will permanently limit the profit margin earned from hardware sales to a maximum of five percent after tax. This applies to Xiaomi’s entire product lineup — from smartphones to lifestyle products. This means the Chinese manufacturer will not follow in the footsteps of companies like OnePlus that increase pricing almost on a yearly basis. Xiaomi’s products will always offer great value for money, which is fantastic news for consumers. Xiaomi's business model relies heavily on after-sale purchases. Xiaomi limited its profit margin because its business model relies heavily on after-sale purchases like accessories and content from its digital store. To increase sales of these items, the company has to sell as many smartphones as possible. Keeping prices low is the best way to do that. Xiaomi paid $3.6 million for a domain name Xiaomi bought mi.com for $3.6 million in 2014, replacing Xiaomi.com as its official website. The company made expensive purchase because it wanted to expand into markets outside China, where people have trouble pronouncing Xiaomi. Read next: These are the best Xiaomi phones Pronouncing “mi” is a lot easier for most people. It’s also easier to remember, which is important for a company that sells most of its products through its own website. If Xiaomi gave this more thought back in 2010, it would have saved a ton of money. Mi.com was the most expensive domain of the year at the time of purchase. If you’re wondering, the most expensive domain sold to date is apparently insurance.com, which sold for a whopping $35.6 million, almost 10 times more than Mi.com. Xiaomi’s logo has a secret meaning Xiaomi’s logo may look simple, but there’s more to it than meets the eye. When turned upside down, the logo looks almost identical to a Chinese character that means heart. I could find out whether this is intentional or just a coincidence. Either way, it’s kind of cool. The Mi in Xiaomi’s logo means ‘Mobile Internet’ and ‘Mission Impossible.’ The Mi in Xiaomi’s logo stands for “Mobile Internet.” Xiaomi claims it has other meanings as well, with one of them being “Mission Impossible,” referring to the challenges the company faced in its early days. The easiest way to pronounce the company’s name is to say “shout me,” without the “t.” Bonus fact: the literal translation of Xiaomi is “little rice.” Xiaomi has a few weird products in its lineup Xiaomi Xiaomi is mostly known for high-value smartphones like the Mi 8, Mi Mix 2S, and Redmi Note 5. However, the company has a lot more products in its lineup — some of which may surprise you. Editor's Pick HTC trivia: How much do you know about the maker of the first Android phone? HTC has an interesting history full of ups and downs. Founded in 1997, it was once among the biggest players in the smartphone industry, though it hasn’t been able to keep up with the competition … The company also makes fitness trackers, drones, smart light bulbs, robot vacuum cleaners, and power banks. Let’s not forget about security cameras, media streaming devices, and even smart running shoes. It even sells a cool electric scooter with a portable design and around an 18-mile range. None of those seem all that strange coming from a tech company, but things get weird further down Xiaomi’s list of products. The company also makes rice cookers, electric toothbrushes, travel pillows, suitcases, mattresses, and — wait for it — pens. Not high-tech pens like the one you get with the Galaxy Note 8 — just regular everyday pens. There’s nothing wrong with that, it’s just not something people would generally expect from a company nicknamed Apple of the East. XIAOMI MI A1 one of the greatest smartphones
XIAOMI BRAND CULTURE
Xiaomi has become India’s largest smartphone brand. It is unbelievable how this brand came and beat all the popular brands in India such as Samsung. The secret behind this success is that they invested in innovative technology and they made their products accessible to everyone. Xiaomi founded in 2010 by a Lei Jun has come through a series of designs of remarkable software, hardware, and internet services. This has become a success through the help of mi fans. MI Fan literally means “Rice Flour” in the Chinese language. This is equivalent to the Google “fandroids” and Apple “fanboys”. The company marketing strategy has been to come out of their corporate jade tower and mingle with the MI fans physically and through social media. Its product range includes Mi 5, Mi Note 2, Redmi 4A, MI MIX, Mi Max 2, Mi Band 2, Mi TV, Mi Smart Home gadgets and other wonderful accessories.
