I’m starting both The Whimsy Stories Challenge and The Joy of Life Challenge over on my Youtube Channel soon (once I get rid of the white screen bug in my game 😅)

I made this base sim and think she’s founder material, but can’t decide which challenge she should be the founder of!

I need YOUR help! Which challenge does she fit the vibe of better?

Keep in mind I kept her hair and clothes simple for now, but once her series is chosen I’ll give her a more in-depth makeover to suit the challenge!

Whimsy Legacy Challenge

So I rediscovered the greatness that is Tumblr and decided to record my Whimsy Legacy challenge by the incredibly talented challenge creator: @lysiablr (https://lysiablr.tumblr.com/ in case the preceding tag doesn't work!)

So without further ado - meet Autumn Whimsy Gen 1. She is already well into her Young Adult life and has achieved the Master Maker aspiration as I have been playing this challenge for some time before I decided to post about it.

Her traits are:

Freegan (mandatory trait)

Loves Outdoor (mandatory trait)

Genius

Self-Assured (self-discovery trait)

Good (self-discovery trait)

Active (self-discovery trait)

Muser (aspiration trait achievement)

She is currently engaged (but not yet co-habiting with) to Jax McKenzie who she suspects may actually be an alien. She has her suspicions after a traumatic alien abduction on her second night in Willow Creek has resulted in night terrors where Jax is a common occurrence in her flashbacks to the abduction. She is hoping this is her imagination running wild but is keen to gain proof - which if she discovers he is in fact an alien - this will be a dealbreaker for her and she will have no choice but to call off the engagement. In the meantime she is concentrating on her Freelance Crafter career (level 7) even though her Freegan morals are telling her to quit as she feels as though she is a corporate sell-out. She is hoping to rid herself of these negative thoughts by attending yoga classes and as it turns out she is quite a natural at yoga and wellness.

Despite her romantic life being in potential turmoil and her uncertainties about her professional life she is happy living in her one-story micro-home that she furnished by fabricating all of her own furniture and upcycling appliances she found by dumpster-diving. She was even lucky enough to find a Money Fruit whilst dumpster diving and has nurtured it into a perfect Money Tree so she is happy in the knowledge that her heir will be looked after financially.

Malaya Luna (Gen 1) of Whimsy Expanded

episode 25 (FINAL) - malaya, muse of the maker RECAP

the final episode of generation 1

there were two parties that occurred in this episode

alon had a house party and invited his many friends

although unflirty, he really hit it off with luna

and decided to go for his first kiss and it was successful!

there were not one, not two BUT three birthdays so we celebrated asher aging up into a toddler, ezra aging up into an elder and alon aging up into a young adult

and malaya, our founder, finally reached level 10 of her fabricating skill and successfully completed her master maker aspiration

which made her muse of the maker

and we ended generation 1 with an ending of suburban bliss

really and truly going to miss malaya, my first sim for my first let's play on my channel

I got the "house" from the gallery but i changed it a little, as I wanted something that could fit in Willow Creek.

Speaking of, I know the challenge rules say to start with just a tent and a woohoo bush, but that wouldn't look right in the middle of town, so I chose to have ruins on the lot. Cam won't be getting any of the money from getting rid of whatever was on the lot before (on the contrary, I deduct money from her every time I remove something that would be hard/time consuming to remove).

Anyways, her tent is in the tall side of the building, while her bush is in the smaller side.

Newhaven BACC - Rotation 1

Let's meet 3 founding families of my BACC!

Holloway Family

Juniper Holloway is a family sim. She opened a small home business that sells fruits, vegetables and seeds. She is not great at making friends, but she is very charming which helps her store. She would like to have a big garden, full of fruits and flowers. She plans to make pottery, paintings, and flower arrangments to sell as well. She is Generation 1 of Whimsy Legacy challenge (originally for Sims 4).

Juniper connects easily with Elijah Thompson, one of her regular customers, and he moves in.

Elijah Thompson is creative and interested in art. He easily fell in love with Juniper and he want to help her with the business. He suprised himself by how easily he got into managing the store. Juniper is grateful because this leaves her more time for maintaining the garden and flower arranging.

Lin family

Wei Lin is a knowledge sim. He is co-wner of furniture store with his wife Lian. He works in sales because he loves to communicate with people. He works hard to earn money for his family. He tries to keep a good relationship with his kids, especially helping Lian with kids.

Lian Lin is also a knowledge sim. Creative, and quirky, she makes wooden items and furniture. She got pregnant quickly during first rotation, without planning (thanks ACR).

Jun Lin is a child, and he is Generation 1 of Chinese zodiac legacy challenge (still working on rules, will post them eventually). He is eager to be good at school and do his homework. Doesn’t get too much attention from his mom, but he gets along with his father.

Baby girl Qiuyue was born! They can't really aford to have a baby right now, but they'll put in the effort.

Family's house is not well furnished yet, they prioritise the store to their own comfort.

Mensah Family

Kwame Mensah is a romance aspiration sim. He is founder of Board game legacy challenge. He is always on lookout for a new romance, spending lots of times on community lots. He got a job in education career.

He is trying to have a garden, but it hasn’t been going so well.
