my most stupid whitewhale clothing item is when i was in middle school i had this super cute red hoodie with pompoms on the drawstrings and my mom asked to borrow it and then cut the pompoms off without asking me and i was so so upset and mad and i still intermittently get mad about it years later because i thought it was so cute but no one online is reselling this specific shrinkingviolet red hoodie with pompom drawstrings in my size. so if you ever see a hoodie that looks like this for sale somewhere let me know

i'm struggling to articulate it, but there's a lot that eastward did SO WELL in the very first area of the game. the mayor is repeatedly shown to be an incompetent, power mad asshole who nobody can stand. he knows about the miasma, he knows about charon, but he gets everything wrong. the miasma hasn't turned the world into a wasteland. the train that comes through isn't charon, because charon stops for nobody, much less a few people who made someone look bad.

the bells in potcrock isle are the same as esther city. everyone in esther city is just as trapped as those in potcrock isle.

they foreshadowed william and daniel so well that the second i heard their names i knew who they were.

potcrock isle is a regime. whitewhale bay is a community. new dam city is a group of people just trying to survive. esther city is a sanctuary, but one where memories go to die.

Ventotene fashion week by E&R quinta edizione, dal 18 al 20 Agosto 2023.

Nello splendore e nel fascino dell'isola pontina, dal 18 al 20 agosto 2023, si aprirà il sipario sulla quinta edizione del grande evento "Ventotene Fashion Week" ideato e organizzato dalla stilista internazionale Elena Rodica Rotaru. Gli organizzatori della manifestazione sono l'associazione Lika Eventi, Pandataria Film Srl in collaborazione con il Comune di Ventotene.

Tre giorni che presenteranno il fascino della moda, del design, della bellezza e dei colori artistici dell'isola.

Ventotene Fashion Week è un evento legato alla moda e ispirato alle caratteristiche identitarie dell'isola di Ventotene, ma è anche un concorso per stilisti emergenti, sarti, negozi di abbigliamento e coinvolge anche l'arte e la gastronomia italiana. Diventa sempre più importante caratterizzare gli eventi coinvolgendo le persone che abitano i territori e che, quindi, ne fanno una manifestazione di partecipazione che viaggia insieme alla proposta di abbigliamento e di immagine. Ventotene, vento dell’anima, tzunami del cuore. Ti lascio e ti ritrovo sempre con l’ansia di un amante.
Vulcano emerso, “cono di bottiglia”, approdo sicuro per cuori ed ali affaticate.
Saperti ferma con ogni mare, rifugio tranquillo del mio spirito, evochi e semplifichi le mie fughe.
Scoglio del cuore, vento dell’anima… mano tesa sostieni piccoli grandi uomini, uccelli coraggiosi e stanchi.
Terra di confine, orizzonte finito… semplice e dolce accogli imperatori, puttane, poeti e patrioti, dissidenti e gente controvento…

VISIBILITÀ

L’evento oltre il contest metterà in condizione gli stilisti di poter proporre le loro collezioni moda alla presenza di giornalisti, fashion blogger , fotografi specializzati attori e cantanti, oltre ad essere visto da un folto pubblico in tv e su vari social. L’evento sarà messo in risalto da vari giornali e riviste di moda italiana e internazionale. Ogni stilista potrà esibire 10-15 capi scelti della propria collezione ed evidenziare il proprio talento non solo davanti alle telecamere, agli ospiti e fotoreporter ma anche davanti una giuria,la quale assegnerà il premio:

Very happy to FINALLY get my hands on this record after more than a decade of searching. The Tweeds were an obscure Boston power pop uband around 1980 or so, and this self-released EP of five songs is the closest they ever got to putting out an album. They recorded this and a few singles and then called it quits, but they left behind The Best Song Ever about vinyl collecting—a hectic rocker simply called “I Need That Record.” It became their calling card at the time, so much so that they recorded it twice—the second version, which is too fast IMHO, is the version you’re most likely to find on compilations and the web. This EP has the far better original, plus some great tracks that draw from The Beatles, The Who, Tom Petty and other masters of the 3-minute pop-rock single. I really DID need that record, and to get it, I had to drive into Brooklyn to Academy Annex. They had listed it online on their Discogs shop, where it had come down in price over the last few months (it typically goes for $50 and up, and that’s nothing I could even begin to rationalize paying). Driving into BKLN is a hassle but paying for shipping from 45 minutes away is stupid, so I waited until I had a day where the rest of the household was out doing stuff and I was actually in the mood for a drive. No sooner did I squeeze into a parallel parking spot the size of a postage stamp than I got a call that I was needed back home immediately for an easily resolved non-crisis, so I basically ran in, bought the record and split. Worth the drive though—it’s a rockin’ EP that will be getting a lot of spins!

Have you ever wondered how the animated wonders are like in-universe of Bojack Horseman’s Hollywoo?

I like to think the animation people watch is similar to Bojack’s thoughts in Stupid Piece of Shit. I really like that style of loose animation.

In-universe, I think the only time we’ve seen animation was in the Whitewhale Consolidated Interests employee introduction video with Ollie the Oligopoly and Vert the Vertical Integration in Feel-Good Story.

By the way I just spent the last 30min scouring tumblr for gifs of that video and I can’t find them. It’s driving me insane because I know I saw them
