eren aka ej the don: I feel like I’ve already stated this but I hc him after Bones. From the music, the looks..everything. He favors him so much. I feel like his music videos have this dark, mysterious aesthetic just like his. In the same turn, he also sings and makes these R&B esque, love songs (just take a listen to Bones’ 2 Million Blunts album, it’s what inspired this whole AU). His musical style also ranges a lot. He may play a guitar on stage and sing for one and then start a mosh pit with the next song. Bones calls himself the ‘Underground God and The Reaper’ and if Eren wouldn’t do some shit like that, idk who would. Just like him, EJ produces and makes his own instrumentals. Like the Grammys or these awards shows don’t have to give him his flowers but he’s adored by the underground and independent scene. Super talented all the way around. Gives me heavy $uicideboys vibes too.

connie aka prince cee: I know a lot of ppl say Central Cee (who I personally don’t care for but I can see it way more for him than eren) but I actually modeled him after Yeat. I feel like Connie can rap his ass off but he never takes himself too seriously either. He’s a meme rapper but every last one of his songs is a hit. His soundbytes go viral alllll the time on Tiktok. His music is super fun and hype. But put him in a freestyle, he’s devouring every time.

onyakopon aka ony the god: now he reminds me so much of a mixture between Bryson Tiller and MO3 (🙏🏾). He definitely has bars but he has an INCREDIBLE singing voice so he combines the two and does it sound godly (no pun intended). I also think he’s a very talented piano player. He’s probably the 2nd most multi-faceted behind EJ. His style is so unique and so many try to mimic him. But they can never out do the doer. Him and EJ be having a ball in the studio; just bouncing verses off each other and singing they asses off! 😭 I also think all 3 have a few joints EP’s together.

jean aka j. kirschtein: my boy is the only non rapper in the mix. But he is the epitome of a rockstar. I mirror him making music heavily akin to Coldplay or James Arthur..alternative but still with a touch of soul in it..simply put, he’s amazing. Skilled on bass, electric and drums. Also writes for a LOT of people as well. He was Mikasa’s bassist when she performed but she took one listen and knew it wasted potential to not have him at the forefront. The first time she heard him sang, she actually cried! He has such a strong register and can do a variety of genres. He might be the most popular behind EJ signed to AMG.

mikasa aka mika ASH: even though her music career was short lived because she preferred being behind the scenes, she was cold as hell as a performer. I personally have a few I mused her after and that was Saphir, AshNikko and Thuy. Some of her music was soft and melodic but she was the epitome of a goth girl or rather, the label played on that whole aesthetic and branded her as such! She was so good though. Mixing heavy metal type music with light vocals. She had a large fanbase and of course, the alt girls LOVED her but she just couldn’t handle the pressure of fame and stepped back to be a talent scout/manager. She’s much happier with that.

armin aka arminhammer: now armin is more of a producer than artist himself. He sticks to making the beats and directing the music videos. I think of him as like a Cole Bennett or Kenny Beats. When he’s not chasing half the hoes in Miami, he’s behind the mixing board and contrary to belief, he’s the best to do it and the man you want working on your projects. He’s HIM for sure. When he DOES make music, he sounds like Chase Atlantic or The Neighborhood. (He just looks like a Chase Atlantic song, I can’t explain it!)

christa reiss aka HISTORIA: we haven’t talked about her much outside of being Eren’s ex but she’s one of the biggest pop stars in the entire verse. She’s very similar to Zara Larsson, Dua Lipa and Maggie Lindemann. Very much Top 40, bubble gum pop. She had this whole good girl gone bad vibe going on for a while and EJ still heavily influences her music and even helps her music but she gives basic white girl (but in a cute bubbly way! ☠️)

Real Places I Have Visited That Your OCs Would Probably Like

@thatwritingho - Olive - The Mutter Museum in Philadelphia, PA, a collection of medical oddities. They have an entire wall of skulls behind glass, a fetal skeleton, and other preserved remains. It's strictly educational, no photography allowed, but I'm not sure if there are any ethical concerns about how some of the specimens were obtained. The museum itself is beautiful, all polished wood and perfectly clean glass, and it has the feel of a library. It's just you and the bones and other equally as quiet visitors.

@the-loveliest-lotus - Lucy - The Junkman's Daughter in Atlanta, GA. It's a huge store full of funky and colorful clothing and accessories and stuff. I remember them having plenty of rainbow colors, 70s style platform shoes, and coats with faux fur collars. She would probably dig putting on a fashion show for whoever went with her.

@gointothevvater - St Cecilia - The Cosmopolitan, Las Vegas, NV. This place is just beyond. Every single aspect, even stuff that should just be utilitarian, is somehow beautiful, sleek, luxe, and perfectly maintained, to say nothing of the Chandelier Bar which I think she would like. You go upstairs and sit inside of a huge chandelier, surrounded by glimmering crystals. The entire place smells like the lightest touch of expensive perfume. The kind where you couldn't say exactly what notes are in it, it just feels pricey.

@dolly-macabre - Dolly - Stella's Lounge, Grand Rapids, MI - This is a bar with a fun vintage 80s vibe. They have retro arcade games, all sorts of whiskey, and a cocktail so strong that they'll only let you order two of them in an evening. The interior is painted black with pops of color, much like the aesthetic of a raven haired rocker lady with many tattoos.

My OC Vilde - John K King Books - Detroit, MI - This is a used bookstore in an old factory, and they say they have a million books here. It's at least three stories from what I remember, so I believe them. Parts are anxiety-inducingly difficult to move through due to all of the stacks of books, but then you'll occasionally find an empty aisle that you can joyfully loiter in, uninterrupted. That old paper smell always reminds Vilde of home, since her mother owned a rare bookshop downstairs from their apartment. Unlike her mother's shop, however, John K King has never stocked the Finnish Book of Necronomic Spells, the Black Book of Helvetesmunn, or any other cursed grimoires.

I think people who say that Sirius would pick or save Reg over James are crazy, I’m sorry 😭

Idk how unpopular this is but Remus would drive everyone else crazy by picking the longest, most pretentious prog rock ever for parties. Peter is the only one with good taste. James is tone deaf. Sirius is a complete poser who will pretend to be into bands he’s never heard.

I don’t think Reg has a big circle of close friends. I love the Skittles in AUs but they really don’t make sense to me in canon compliant stuff, especially if the writer is trying to push that none of them were into blood supremacy.

I really like Lily and Sirius in Jegulus fics: I feel like they’re given much more depth and complexity than they are in Jily/Wolfstar stuff.

People have a really hard time making Dorlene and Moonseeker interesting as actual dynamics I would like to read about and not aesthetic Twitter threads.

If James/Remus/Regulus ended up being a thing and I was Sirius, our friendship would be over. Especially if they kept it from me. Oh, wait… I’d get with Evan and Barty and then our friendship would be over. I am toxic and petty and a Sirius kin can you tell. Any fic where Sirius is cool with it is an unrealistic fic in my eyes. Jegulus and/or Moonseeker is already stretching it but both his best friends? Nah.

Actually leaping off from that, a lot of fics these days do a bad job establishing why James and/or Remus would care about Regulus and instantly be in love with him. Especially in universes where Sirius hates Reg and Reg/Reg’s friends hate Sirius. I feel like earlier Jegulus fics did a much better job before it became an assumed dynamic.

I don’t think you should be writing Regulus & Sirius dynamics in fics if you don’t have empathy for both and aren’t willing to show both of their POVs. A lot of times it comes across as victim blaming or really weird ideas about victims.

Welcome to Edancy hell, we have matching jackets. I also call the ship Seven Miles with my friend so if you ever see me refer to that, I'm talking about Edancy.

They have a lot of very subtle moments on screen that really made me interested in their character dynamic. The fact that Eddie just knows that the Wheeler residence is seven miles from his trailer THAT quickly- the ways he's very touchy with her, Nancy's interaction with Wayne and not buying people saying he's a killer immediately. They share a lot of looks that give me a vibe. And also the entire scene with Eddie pep talking Steve "if it were me I would get her back" and then making Steve cover up can both be read as a bit of jealousy which is a fun take on it.

They very much fulfill that opposites attract quota in terms of aesthetics with Nancy being mostly dressed in pastels and seeming very put together and organized while Eddie is in a lot of dark grungier clothing with a more laidback and laissez faire attitude. And yet they have a lot of the same core values with both of them being fiercely protective of whoever they consider "their" people, they have a distinct lack of respect for authority because of being failed by those in power around them often, they both have rather niche interests and are sort of loners even despite the initial appearance (ie: Nancy has enough friends to be counted on one hand, none of whom are very close to her. And despite the Corroded Coffin boys being Eddie's group at school, none of them went looking for him when shit hit the fan). They're both extremely passionate and stubborn people, the perfect types to uplift and encourage one another through the pursuits of their interests and who are both independent and reliant in equal parts to make the balance of their relationship work very, very well.

In short, they have the perfect personality types to make a romance between them really work out long term. Plus, they both can understand and relate to a lot of what the other has gone through. Survivors guilt is a huge aspect in both of their stories.

Eddie needs someone who won't back down and will help him stand his ground and who's motivated and dedicated enough to be able to give him the fire to follow his dreams and stand against the tide. And Nancy needs someone emotionally available and light enough to remind her that there's more to life then the isolation and expectations she lets people press upon her, and someone who will put the wind under her wings when she's getting weighed down by her own self doubt and fears of failure.

And the other is quite literally the exact archetype to achieve those points.

I came into liking Edancy because they had a cute dynamic on screen but I'm also a collaborative creative writer in my free time (which is a fancy way of saying I roleplay really huge DnD scale elaborate storytelling venture epics with friends where we write canon and oc characters in a show/game/movie setting, in this case we're writing our take on Stranger Things Season Five) and my friend and I jokingly talked about them as a romantic relationship, quickly realizing just how good for each other they are. And the more we looked the more we discovered a really strong chemistry and it was all downhill from there basically. We're hooked. Edancy is by far my OTP right now, I'll die on this hill honestly. My friend is here with me, also dying on this hill LMAO.

First time watching ToH S1E6 (Hooty’s Moving Hassle). Thoughts below:

Detailed thoughts:

I don’t have as much to say about this episode, but it was good! I’m not a big fan of ‘liar revealed’ plotlines, so I’m glad everything worked out nicely. It was also sweet to see Willow and Gus standup for Luz after what she did for them, just like back in Hexside.

I also appreciate how even this early on, the show has a lot of continuity, with each episode building on top of previous ones. For example, the B plot w/ Eda revolves around her curse and elixir dependency which was first brought up in E4 and referenced again in E6.

We also find out a lot more about Amity in this episode, mainly through background details, though the reveal that Willow used to be friends w/ Amity is big too.

The fact that “Amity’s House” is Blight Manor, and the fact that Amity is the only one out of the three main characters attending Hexside is more or less confirmation that Amity was born into a high-standing in the Boiling Isles and explains a lot about her upbringing and world views. Amity isn’t just trying to get into the EC, she feels like she needs to because that’s what’s expected of her.

To Amity, magical prowess is directly equated to a person’s social standing, which is why she stops being friends w/ Willow after her powers came in first. The world is divided between the talented, who work as hard as they can in order to join the EC, and the talentless, who can only try to be as powerful as them. It’s also another reason why being humiliated by Luz and Willow stings so much for her. Either way I’m getting strong Malfoy vibes.

Side note, but is Amity actually friends w/ the girls in her clique? We see her w/ them and she invites them to her Moonlight Conjuring, but we haven’t seen her actually talk w/ them. Are they powerful or high-standing witches too?

On the topic of Willow, I still have a couple of questions about her and her background. Her parents wanted her to take the abomination track because it has better opportunities, despite her lack of skill for it. Do her parents know that she’s been switched over to the plant track? Are they okay with that? Also, did her family know Amity’s? Willow’s skill w/ plant magic was impressive enough that she was spared for cheating in her abomination class. Is Willow also from another high-standing or magically potent family? Is there a Malfoy vs Weasley dynamic going on here?

I also waiting to see when we get a Gus focused episode. We know that Gus specializes in illusion magic and he admits that he’s not the strongest witch. Since he’s head of the Human Appreciation Society, I’m guessing there might be an episode where he disguises himself as one.

One last thing, the ending hints that Luz, Willow, and Gus are collectively powerful witches, and that animating an entire house (even if it is also a demon?) is unusual enough for most citizens to take notice. Given the emphasis on “controlled magic”, I assume that’s because its illegal.

General thoughts:

Hexas Hold’em looks like an auto-battler, but apparently you can also play spells mid-combat that seems to heavily swing the game.

We get to Owlbert in Owl form for a full scene again!

So did Eda get cursed into an owl demon and just made that aesthetic, or did she just so happen to get an owl-based curse? Did whoever curse her see that she had an owl house with an owl staff that creates giant wooden owl heads?

I need to watch Howl’s Moving Castle at some point. Maybe after I finish reading Nausicaä.

What’s the functional difference between potions and elixirs? Why can’t Eda brew her own elixirs but Morton can? Is the difference the only reason why Eda and Morton aren’t rivals?

Is multiple eyeballs just a stock monster archetype? I haven’t seen any of them else eat their own eyes.

What’s the deal with demon hunters? Do they only hunt rogue or illegal demons? There are a lot of buildings in Bonesburough that seem like they’re also part-demon. Do they only go after Hooty since he’s outside the city limits? Are demon hunters also criminals or are they sanctioned by the Emperor?

Amity needs to get a better handle. Witchchick128 is not very descriptive considering the number of other witch chicks in this world (at least 127 others!)

Gus is digging a tunnel under Hexside? What’s a squamping permit?

I hope we get to see more of the night market. That seems like a setting that has lots of potential.

Back at it again with another niche post that only a few people will know and or enjoy. But this time this was actually requested by my friend @kaiyaki-sano (I love you 😚)

But essentially the Genshin NCT post that I made? This is that but Project Sekai. And again, I really enjoy making these! I love making the aesthetic little pictures and thinking about who to assign to who so I really hope everyone else enjoys reading these! And again I'd like to hear your own thoughts and opinions!

Haechan - Rin (Vivid Bad Squad)

I believe this one with my whole chest. Vivid Bad Squad Rin and Haechan give off the same energy. Bratty, teasing, but also very loveable and faithful. True ride or dies. And no I'm not just saying that because they're both my favorites. I'm saying it because I believe it thank you very much. I don't really know how else to describe this one. Every clip of VBS Rin and Len going back and forth just gives me major Haechan and literally anyone else vibes. Your honor I love them very much.

Jeno - Meiko (Vivid Bad Squad)

I'm a firm believer that when it comes to characters he's a fan of the badass boss bitches. And I do not blame him one bit, they just hit different. I think he simply thinks she's a cool, strong independent figure and I can 100% see him kind of looking up to her character in a way (especially the VBS Meiko but I can also see him enjoying Nightcord Meiko as well). The way she's able to keep her calm, yet also dish out snarky playful remarks to keep things calm when tensions get high. I believe with my whole chest that he would try and emulate and take into consideration what Meiko would do in a difficult situation. Kind of like a mental mentor figure if that makes sense?

Jisung - Ichika

Now this, this is truly an honor. Ichika is my favorite. I wanted whoever I chose to assign to her to be PERFECT. And I think I'm happy with Jisung claiming that title. I believe they're very similar in many ways. Shy yet loving to those close to them. Truly shining in the correct atmosphere (such as in a room full of their loved ones). Being young yet also responsible enough to take charge of and try to solve a situation if deemed necessary. Very hardworking individuals who strive for perfection (especially when it comes to things they're passionate about such as their music). I honestly really love this duo.

Chenle - Shiho

The way I thought about this one for about two seconds. Chenle is the Shiho to Jisungs Ichika. Passionate, strict (in a good way I promise I love Chenle so much). But also very loving and shows their love through actions rather than words. Calm and collected for the most part (Although there are some exceptions I am very aware Chenle is chaotic) and they know how to turn their switch on and off in certain settings to match the mood of a room. And honestly I think that's pretty impressive and really commendable.

Mark - Saki

These beautiful babies. I love the idea of Mark and Saki. They've both been through hard times but both continue to smile and joke and have fun without a care in the world. They're the strongest people and I think it's really amazing that they continue to push forward despite the hardships life has thrown at them. They continue to remain optimistic but also fun and energetic, willing to make a fool of themselves just to see their friends and loved ones smile. The kindest and comforting souls honestly.

Taeyong - Honami

TEAM MOM TEAM MOM TEAM MOM No but really they are the same person. Very loving, kind and caring. Willing to put others before themselves no matter how it will affect either their mental or physical health. They've both been through so many difficulties but have been able to overcome them and remain just as kind and benevolent as they've always been. Their friends and bandmates mean the world to them and they would do anything in their power to make sure they keep smiling and remain safe.

Shotaro - Minori

Little cuties. They are perfect. Both shy but also hard workers, willing to practice and put everything on the line to make their dreams a reality. Have to mention both highly underrated people despite their many talents that make them shine. Both remind me of a puppy dog in human form. And both try their best at everything they do, refusing to give up no matter what life throws in their direction.

Jaehyun - Haruka

Another team mom. Very calm and collected people who tend to keep things under control when in a group setting. But also just genuine down to earth people that are an absolute comfort to be around. They're always there to support and lend a hand for their loved ones and they genuinely both appreciate the love and support and adoration that their fans give them. But also aren't afraid to stand up for themselves when things get out of hand amongst fans and their loved ones. Obviously they do it in the kindest way possible, they love their fans. These two are probably the most reliable in the bunch and are able to keep their heads on when the pressure gets to be too much, if that makes sense? Could genuinely just see Jaehyun and Haruka going out for coffee or something and just sharing their own idol experiences and hardships and giving each other advice. I love them so much.

Jaemin - Airi

And to no ones surprise Jaemin gets Airi Listen listen I understand I'm biased Jaemin is my Bias Wrecker and Airi is one of my favorites I will not deny that But just hear me out for a minute. They are the same person. Both of them are into the cute things and excel at the cutesy idol act without even having to try. But at the same time they're both true to themselves and they know what they want in life. They've made sacrifices for their idol career but genuinely love what they do and the people who support them.

Ten - Shizuku

Two absolute beauties. I can see them getting along swimmingly with how similar they are. Sharing makeup and hair tips and just genuinely enjoying each others company. Both a little clueless (but I mean that affectionately I love both of them) but no matter how aloof they may seem they are so full of love and compassion for every being on this planet. And they both work so insanely hard for their dreams.

Taeil - Kohane

Stunning vocalists. They both absolutely shine on stage, almost as if they were meant to be there. Team players, whether or not they can help is trivial. They're always there to lend an ear for their loved ones and friends problems. Or if needed, a shoulder to cry on they're there. They're not particularly extroverted or introverted so they're able to make friends easily wherever they go (whether intended or not). I can also see them both catching lots of eyes just from their comforting and friendly nature.

Xiaojun - An

Two bad bitches. Cool, talented, unique individuals are the best words I could use to describe them. They put their all in everything that they do and they dream big (sometimes maybe too big) but regardless of how big those dreams end up being, they do everything in their power to achieve them. Yet another duo of team players. They're there to help and support their loved ones and friends when needed and they can always be counted on to help push you to your limits while also encouraging and cheering you on from the sidelines.

Hendery - Akito

Rough exterior, soft interior. For as cool and badass both Hendery and Akito can look, they're nothing more than softies on the inside. They're always there to encourage their loved ones but also willing to dish out hard truths. Sometimes they need to be said and these two won't hesitate to say it like it is. But they'll also be there to help fix and overcome these issues that their friend or loved one is facing, they won't let them blindly try and figure it out by themselves. If anything that at least search around in the dark with you.

WinWin - Toya

Princes. Absolute princes. And the most caring and beautiful souls truly. They can be a little dense, and things can fly right over there heads but I think that that is super endearing and just adds to their charm. They're very opinionated and stand by their ideals no matter how much outside pressure tries to sway them. Not afraid to stand up to loved ones either. It hurts, no doubt about it but they believe in their ideals and opinions just that much, and they know that if they're truly loved whoever their arguing with will either step back or at least respect their opinions and keep an open mind in the future.

Johnny - Tsukasa

I love Johnny and Tsukasa so much Just two silly goofy guys. But they're two silly goofy guys who work extremely hard and know what they want in life. They're full of confidence and know that they're a star and belong on the stage, and they continue to believe in themselves no matter what anyone else says. Very caring individuals and a good shoulder to lean on. They might not have the best advice to give but they'll always be there to lend an ear or use their wits or goofiness to make their loved ones smile when they're feeling blue or if things become awkward. Very good at relieving tension among groups and can easily take control of an entire room if needed. They are natural leaders.

Sungchan - Emu

Two absolute angels. They just want everyone to smile and laugh and live life as best they can, you only get one after all. But at the same time they know how to reel it in and can be a good genuine shoulder to cry on if needed and will give advice as best they can. Though most times their form of comfort is acting silly in an attempt to cheer up whoever is shedding tears or needs it. Able to bring smiles out of anyone around them just by being themselves, which I think is an extremely impressive trait.

YangYang - Nene

Mentally exhausted but also just happy to be here. They may complain and sass at their loved ones but it's all in a playful manner and they don't genuinely mean it. Very hard workers who genuinely just love the stage and are just happy to take part in what they can. I feel like YangYang was a theatre kid and I can not tell you why and that was partially why I put him with Nene. And they share the same kind of vibe. I can not put my finger on it but they just heavily remind me of each other.

Yuta - Rui

Would risk life and limb (and possibly jail time) for their friends and loved ones. No but seriously they love with their whole heart and are a presence of constant reassurance and are just genuinely soothing people to be around. I can see them being rather closed off, they might not talk all that much in a group setting, or even with another but there presence says enough for them. They're good people to hang out with if you just want to hang out. Sit on a bed and read a book, or play some games. They'll sit in silence with you and just having them there is enough to make you feel safe. They just have a very calming and safe aura about them and I believe that with my whole chest.

Doyoung - Kanade

Something about Doyoung and Kanade just hits different. Very caring and loving individuals who have been tested by god but still stand tall to tell the tale (But honestly I could say that about every NCT member they work so hard and I can't even imagine the hardships they go through). Very passionate about their hobbies and craft, they put their everything into what they do (even if its at the expense of their own health). They're both very unique in a way and that uniqueness adds to their charm and they come off very endearing if that makes sense?

Kun - Mafuyu

I don't know how many of you here read my Genshin Impact and NCT post but I feel as if this duo is the same as Kun and Ganyu. Relates very heavily to Mafuyu and somebody please help him. Granted we don't know what Kun is feeling and we never will, hence why I am simply going off of vibes. Please don't take anything I say as fact. With that being said I get the feeling that Kun is still trying to figure himself out (and that is absolutely okay!) which is why he finds himself enjoying and relating to characters like Mafuyu (and Ganyu). Works very hard and has a wall of support around them so that there thoughts don't ever overpower them or so that they don't get absolutely consumed and lost in their work.

Renjun - Ena

I can see him heavily relating to Ena and her entire character. A love of the arts But also not feeling good enough for their chosen career and constantly seeing those around them excel at what they're striving to achieve. They're so self concious and insecure that they don't even realize how beautiful their art truly is and how many people around them truly love and support them. But I think Renjun would find comfort in Ena, knowing that there's a character out there that feels just like he does (I love Renjun he deserves all of the love in the world.)

Jungwoo - Mizuki

Just two silly little ducks. No but seriously I love them. Sassy and playful, but also supportive. They'll drop everything to help their loved ones out of a bind (but also will not hesitate to tease them while doing so). Big PDA people I don't make the rules. I just get the vibes that they're both at least hand holders. Walking beside someone? Doesn't matter who it is they are grabbing that hand and swinging it all playful and sweet. Just genuinely really endearing people and super fun to be around! There's never a dull moment if you're hanging out with Jungwoo or Mizuki.

A gift that keeps on giving

Review: With Love From Wish & Co. by Minnie Darke (Ballantine, 16 August 2022)

Minnie Darke delivers another charming, deeply felt novel in With Love From Wish & Co. There's a distinctive tone and quality to Darke's prose that translates to pure comfort and enchantment, though I can't entirely identify what makes it so. Maybe it's the way she tucks the story around her characters, or the laser precision of her pacing, or the honesty and humanness around character growth. Whatever it is makes Darke's writing unique as a fingerprint, yet familiar enough that I'd know her words anywhere. For that reason, and so many others, With Love is an absolute joy to read.

Three-sentence summary: Marnie Fairchild's gift for gift-giving--not to mention her airtight discretion--makes her a successful gift-buyer, particularly for wealthy men with "complicated" lives. When a mix-up for her most valuable client leads to the implosion of his marriage, Marnie has to make it right before her mistake costs her the one thing she wants above all others: the historic shopfront that once belonged to her grandfather, and which she at long last has an opportunity to buy. With her reputation and the shop's future on the line, Marnie doesn't expect to find love amid the wreckage caused by her uncharacteristic error -- but that doesn't stop love from showing up on her doorstep, inextricably linked to the very family she may have just destroyed.

One of the things I adore about Minnie Darke is her refusal to deny her characters their humanness. Protagonists make mistakes and antagonists pursue redemption in equal measure; I looked forward to the return of each POV as much as I regretted leaving the previous. 

My only criticism: Whoever came up with the illustrated cover should be fired. The dull, dated color scheme and clipart-style illustration are entirely antithetical to the characters, all of whom have a strong sense of visual/aesthetic beauty. I saw an alternative cover based on a well-lit, brightly-colored, contemporary photo of a wrapped gift -- and that at least captures the vibes if not the precise tone of the novel. The Lost Love Song had a similarly dissonant cover -- cartoonish where it should have been elegant. I don't know who in Darke's camp is making these decisions, but they're doing her whole catalogue a disservice.

jaehyun and jaemin as romantic academia — poetic beauty jaehyun with flushed cheeks and ears when he thinks of holding hands; has poems of love secretly scribbled in his notebooks; always aloof in class but when curious, listens with undulating attention; wears the cherry beret a friend once gave to him often though he never says how fond he is of it; round, clear eyes and full, rouge lips; pink satin shirts, plaid pants and chocolate brown coats; everyone is in love with him but he can never seem to love them back.

rosy-cheeked jaemin who wishes to play with a lover’s hair and finds devotion fascinating; he returns all the love letters he gets with scented ones; says he doesn’t know a lot about love but watches too many romantic comedies and reads too many romantic novels; honey lips and a sweeter smile; pristine white shirts with two buttons undone and jackets the color of rosewood; has a strange taste in coffee and doodles flowers on the cups; everyone is in love with him and he, with everyone.

Description:

Juniper tries to be open-minded for everyone and sees the whole picture, but she can hold grudges if she feels she has been wronged and become quite petty through angry Scottish verbal and magical attacks. 

She has a very open and extroverted vibe which cause many to open up around her despite Juniper herself keeps quiet about her personal life.

Despite growing up in a loving but broken household, the physical abandoment from her father and brother and the unintentional emotional neglet from her mother left with her abandoment issues and can cling onto people when she deeply trusts them.

Juniper is usually the mood maker in social settings which is actually mainly caused by her legilimency. When she realised that, Juniper put a lot of pressure on herself to make sure that the atmosphere is more positive and struggles to allow herself to be negative infront of others. 

A hidden aspect of Juniper is her temper, she tends to allow her emotions to build up her breaking point and will then verbally assassinate whoever is near her, especially if she knows them well enough she can hit sensitive topics really doing some damage. Hornbeam selects its life mate, a witch or wizard with a single, pure passion, which some may call an obsession. They adapt more quickly than almost any other to their owner’s style of magic and is so personalised that others that use it find it difficult to cast the most simple of spells. Dragon heartstring produce the most magical power and capable of the most flamboyant spells. They tend to learn more quickly than other types. While they could change allegiance if won from their original master, they always bonded strongly with the current owner. Dragon wand tend to be the easiest to fall to the dark arts, though it would incline to it of its own accord.

The tiger is a very strong, independent patronus. They have fierce personality to them that they show openly, and have no problem doing it. However, there is more to them than just an impression, they have parts of their past that are a bit dark, and that caused them to be cynical. They don’t like to show their feelings to others, as they like to maintain the impression for themselves and for others that they are unbreakable. They are not fast to warm up to anyone, but once they do they will protect you with all they have.

The reason why Marwa changed Juniper’s patronus and not romantic love is because Marwa caused Juniper WANT to and did change for the better while the romantic love she experiences just accepted her for who she is. Marwa’s death serves as reminider to Juniper why she became a better person and not to lose herself.

FAMILY

Father: Jalil Hasni

Juniper and Jalil have a very tense relationship due to the fact that Jalil left them to move back to Algeria when she was seven. She has never forgiven him for just abandoning her as they had a fairly good relationship before. Jalil for some reason really dotted on his daughter compared to his son. They stayed in contact and Jalil strictly monitor her education before starting Hogwarts. Juniper lessen their contact throughout the years only because she wanted to make sure that her mother was financially taken care of until she could start work and cut him off from their lives. 

Mother: Julia Moss

Their relationship was built on a lot of misunderstanding and hurt to each other. Juniper stayed loyal to her mother because neither of them wanted to be alone after both Jalil and Jacob left. Julia fell into a deep depressive state to the point of being admitted to St Mungo where she just learned to be dependent on calming draughts and Juniper to help her. Juniper started to be mad at her mother for not being there for her and her emotional needs for her but was also afraid to leave her. When Julia started getting better she realized that she essentially neglected Juniper and tried to fix their relationship but she also held back by guilt but it was a little late. Juniper still loves her mum dearly to the point she stopped telling her anything about her so her mum doesn't have to worry which actually caused Julia to worry even more. 

Brother: Jacob Khalil Hasni-Moss

Jacob was very overprotective and babied Juniper a lot. Juniper was never fully aware of what Jacob was going through due to being so young. While finding Jacob's room, Juniper found herself learning a lot and understanding Jacob but she hasn't fully gotten over Jacob leaving. When they reunited, Jacob quickly realized that Juniper isn't a little girl anymore and she has changed a lot. Unlike with her father or mother, Juniper is more open to rebuild their relationship which caused them to be closer than ever since now they are mentally at a similar age.

Adopted sister: Marwa

Juniper absolutely dotted and adored Marwa, she would move the sun and moon for her. She noticed that Marwa looked up to her which made Juniper realized that she has to be better role model for Marwa, so she changed a lot for her such as she stopped partaking in reckless behaviour, actually getting some proper sleep because for once on her life she started to try and implement a routine and make sure that Marwa has friends. Both Marwa and Juniper learned a lot from each other which helped them heal and become better people.

Relatives in America: Aileen, Theodore Jr, Lilianna, Harvey, Paige, and Clover Sweets

They are the closest thing to having cousins and they visit each other at least twice a year, taking turns. As Juniper was the baby of the lot, she struggled to have a close relationship as must were all adults already when she could form memories of them. As she got older, she did develope a friendship with Clover, who mainly gave her advice on how to stay out of trouble and Juniper loves joking about her old smut stories.

Love Interests:

Charlie Weasley 

Her crush on Charlie developed slowly even since she first met him which was on the Quidditch field. They didn't interact but Charlie always noticed her since the sorting ceremony until they had CoMC classes together and they really hit it off. Juniper just felt at ease in his presences and they were very comfortable in each other's personal spaces which caused many to believe that they were a couple right if the bat.

When she found that Charlie wasn't interested in dating she took it as a sign to back off and dated Talbott instead. At this time, Charlie was oblivious to his feelings for her until 5th year but still remained in denial because he thought that Juniper wasn't interested since she was with Talbott but 6th year he accepted it. Both locked up their feelings which was hard to contain since they were constant in each other's life and it wasn't until (spoilers I guess) Marwa's death of her prompted Juniper to confess to Charlie.

Talbott Winger 

Juniper had slight feelings of attraction to Talbott but she dated him to get over her feelings for Charlie and mainly more out of curiosity. Like dating for the sake of dating. She was surprised that he accepted and he too was curious since Juniper was one of the few close friends he had and felt comfortable around. 

Their relationship went downhill quickly due to lack of communication and Juniper's busy schedule. They broke up in 5th year but got back together in 6th year after Alvina broke up with Talbott, as a rebound. They stayed together for 2 years post graduation with feelings for others, Juniper realized it was going nowhere so she ended things.

Tulip Karasu [When Juniper needs to have some more fun and excitement, Tulip is perfect to let out some steam by pranking.]

Story

Childhood:

Juniper was born in St Mungo but was raised in a wizarding village at the outskirts of Fife, Scotland with her mother, father and brother Jacob. All was well until 1980 when Jacob ended up being expelled from Hogwarts which caused their father to use that as an excuse to leave and move back to his home country, Algeria. Later that night, Jacob disappeared and the aurors did nothing to help them find Jacob resulting in Juniper's mum breakdown where she was sent to St Mungo. There her mother developed a dependency to calming draughts. Juniper was then left to look at her mum and her after household with the help of squib neighbor. But her troubles do not end there. The kids in the neighborhood bullied her slowly and she had only herself to depend on. Shortly before starting Hogwarts, Juniper became friends with Rowan in Diagon Alley.

Hogwarts:

Juniper had a hat stall between Ravenclaw and Slytherin; Ravenclaw for her valuing in knowledge, open-mindness for new things and obession to find Jacob. Slytherin for her from her from her from her ambitious nature from her from her from her and pechant to be cunning and using people. She was placed in Ravenclaw because her thoughts of her were filled with Jacob during the sorting ceremony.

She can speak, read and write in fluent French but can only speak and kinda read in Arabic.

Juniper has an interesting study technique; she picks up more information based on listening to her friends than reading books. So depending on the topic, she finds [insert] friend who's good at [insert] topic and gets them to talk to her from her to the death of her from her.

MHA RAVE AU HEADCANONS

Part 1

Ok so I had started artworks for this idea because being a weeb and a raver, it only made sense to me.

So here’s a list of the MHA characters (all 18+) and what I think they’d be like as ravers including the genre, style and uh….. “party favors” they’d indulge in if they do indulge.

Izuku Midoriya

You can’t convince me that Deku isn’t a baby raver. He’s one of those that starts off wide eyed and so excited to start raving.

Definitely a budding Kandi Kid. He loves making kandi and trading with other people and he definitely takes videos or pics of his trades to add to his scrapbook.

Is the kind of baby raver that scrapbooks for his memories of each show/festival he goes to. He saves the admission bands and takes tons of pics.

Is fairly mainstream with his taste is DJs but will go to check out other sub genres if he goes with other groups. Mostly along the lines of Zedd, The Chainsmokers, David Guetta. Very house/pop vibes.

He’s very comfy style. Is big on merch shirts. Has a Fanny pack and a camel pack with essentials like gum, water, hair ties, a mini first aid kit, power banks, a couple fans and Vick’s.

Is the kind of guy that is very sweet so girls flock to him to either treat him like baby or flirt with him cuz he’s good boi. Will lift people on his shoulders, guy or girl.

Light show caretaker. He’s the one who holds your hand, fans you, will probably sit you in his lap whether you’re a guy gal or non binary pal.

His rave name is either Deku or Broccoli.

Izuku isn’t one to take any kind of “party favors”. If anything, he’s the one making sure everybody else is staying hydrated and safe. Usually the designated driver.

OFA gives him great strength which proves very useful when going to 3 day festivals as he ends up as the pack mule. Along with the multitude of other quirks attached ro OFA, he uses them as needed.

Shoto Todoroki

Wasn’t really ecstatic about raving but also didn’t hate the idea. He kinda just tagged along because Izuku wanted to go.

Also very big on house/pop/mainstream stuff. Will listen to trance on occasion but he has to really be in the mood.

Only really takes pics if he remembers or if Izuku tells him to. He likes to enjoy the shows in the moment.

Because he’s from a rich family, he usually gets to have VIP passes and will either sneak his friends in or just flat out walk them in. No fucks given.

Also very comfy. Will take his shirt off only if it gets too hot. Very little kandi but faithfully wears the one Izuku gave him.

Gets hit on a lot. Gives the strong silent type vibes so he lures in the girls but he’s kinda clueless. Will help put people on his shoulders if they ask but he’s not one to offer.

Not a big “party favor” person so he’ll just drink every now and again.

I feel like his rave name will be IcyHot, Peppermint, or something along those lines.

His dual-quirks of ice and fire help tremendously in warming people up or cooling them down.

Katsuki Bakugou

Katsuki took a bit of convincing but when he heard the boom of the bass, he was hooked. He loves the heavy beats and drops and loves to mosh pit.

Is a kandi kid but focuses more on head banging and rail breaking. The ones he trades kandi with are usually the ones he liked head banging with or got good vibes from. Will infamously wear his kandi gauntlets to festivals.

He is HEAVY on the bass. Very into hard style, dubstep, deathstep, drum and bass and moombatah. Sullivan King, Excision, Dion Timmer, etc.

Loves doing that headbanger thing with Kirishima where they lock hands and headbang at each other. Will also break his neck with Kirishima.

Absolutely is the type of guy to be shirtless the entire time. Will vary between bandanas, face masks, kandi masks or gas masks. Camel pack is a necessity and so is gum and vicks.

Does get hit on but his aggressive nature is off putting to most. Takes pics with a lot of people because of his Kandi gauntlets. If he does click with somebody he’s very possessive and the “party favors” make him very flirtatious and grabby but he’s v respectful.

Gives amazing back/shoulder rubs. Will usually put a girl in his lap when she gets a light show so she’s not uncomfy on the floor. For guys, he’s very selective but good vibes unless you give off Chad energy.

If he didn’t click with anybody at the show/festival and is feeling touchy feely, Kiri is his go to. Even if Kiri makes a connection, you’ll often see Katsuki close by and being the “tag team top” to Kiri.

Definitely uses “party favors”. Prefers E and acid. Big on Kandi Flipping. Will try Jedi Flipping but doesn’t wanna overdo it.

His rave name is either Dynamite or Grenade. Was almost gonna be Kacchan when he went with Izuku but he shut that down real fast.

His explosion quirk comes in handy with hyping up the crowd with mini explosion. They also double for giving light shows. Likes watching faces melt.

Kyoka Jirou

I definitely think she’s one of the ones that introduced everyone to raving to open up their music taste.

She listens to a little of everything but prefers house, trance, techno and probably a little psy-trance.

She’s definitely a budding DJ/Producer. Has her own EPs out on SoundCloud and shit. Definitely invites everyone she knows to her shows.

Not so big on kandi but she loves spreading the PLUR vibes. Will give hugs, braid hair, have spare hair ties, etc.

Super into hearing different types of music so will definitely wander around different stages.

Style is very lax but also very rocker. Ripped tank tops, fishnets, leg wraps face masks, boots.

Sometimes partakes in “party favors” but very low doses. Mostly E or molly water

She’s the kind that will give amazing massages when someone is getting a light show. Does get hit on but usually ends up befriending everybody.

Her raver name is tricky. I feel like she’d get something Joane Jet or something very rocker.

Her quirk is tricky for this environment. It can be a hit or miss. Because of the volume she obviously can’t amplify the sound. Because her ear jacks can move on their own, she usually is the one catching people’s stuff, getting a better grip on them etc.

Ochako Uraraka

Very bubbly and upbeat. Definitely pop-ish/mainstream vibes. Will randomly be on a bass kick and it’s frightening.

She was super excited to go to a rave and was very baby raver but she loves it now.

She’s definitely the type to wear the cutesy outfits with tutus and bright colors and patterns and the body glitter everywhere and jewels. Probably leg warmer floofs.

Loves Kandi and trading kandi. Super friendly and bubbly. Makes friends with everybody.

Carries a fanny pack with the basics. Usually relies on Izuku for water and stuffs.

She’s a molly water chick. No debating. She can’t take a whole dosage. She’s gotta take it in Gatorade or water. Has to be watched cuz her bubbly nature makes her wander off so she’ll usually be tethered to somebody.

Usually hyping up the light show artist while they melt your face off. Will fan you off, hold your hand, give you shoulder and scalp massages.

I feel like her nickname would be something like Pinkie Pie or Bubbles. Very fitting for her personality.

Her quirk is definitely a god send for the other vertically challenged ravers. She’ll use her quirk to help float up to get a better view. Izuku is usually nearby keeping Ochaco and whoever she floats in his hands so they don’t float away.

Eijirou Kirishima

Is good boi himbo who wanted to be included. Listened to dubstep and loved it.

Very much into dubstep, hard style, deathstep and moombatah. Drum and bass too because of Katsuki.

Is a headbanger and rail breaker. Loves doing the hand holding, head banging thingy with Bakugou and is always ready to dive into the moshpits. Is totally that guy that’s crazy in mosh pits but then profusely apologizes after.

Trades kandi like it’s water. He’s so cute and always down to make trades.

Is absolutely big good himbo boi who drank his respecc womens juice. He will happily give them a lift on his shoulders and will fight everybody who disrespects any girl at the raves. Douchebag Chads beware.

Relies on Katsuki for stuff like water and gum and shit.

Will partake in some “party favors” and makes sure he doesn’t dose too high so he can keep an eye out for the females in his group. E, Molly and Acid are a yes. Shrooms scare him

His rave name is totally Daddy Shark or Jaws or something shark related.

Unbreakable gives Kiri great strength which, much like Izuku, makes him one of the packmules for festivals. Also keeps him unscathed by moshpits and makes him a terror to Chads that are quick to throw hands.

Tsuyu Asui

Was invited to a show by Jirou at first but always tags along with Izuku and Ochaco and Shoto. The bigger the crowd the better.

I feel like while she’s very cute and bubbly, her outfits are more on the conservative side. Still cute and slightly sexy but she’s heavy on the frog aesthetic. Lots of greens and Froggies. Braid to keep her hair out of the way.

Also very mainstream. House heavy. Pop main.

Comfy shoes are a must. Has a camel back that is always filled with water. Carries a giant fan and always has Kandi. During the day, she likes to carry an umbrella so the sun isn’t such a pain.

Has tried “party favors” and every now and again she’ll partake. Prefers super light drinking around her group tho.

Is hit on but is always very nice to turn people down. She’s more focused on the fun and her friends rather than hooking up or anything.

Her froggy quirk isn’t of too much in the rave environment other than using that long tongue to reign in her wander friends.

Denki Kaminari

Was introduced to raving by Jirou and loves it. He’s definitely her hype machine, promoting her shows, pushing merch and even volunteering to use his quirk for lighting during her sets.

Will definitely join the Bakusquad at the hard style and dubstep stages. Also loves techno and moombatah. Loves the high energy stuff.

Neons and glow in the darks are big in his rave wardrobe. Can and will rock fishnets with pride. Tank tops are more common but will go shirtless if it gets too hot or he gets too touchy feely. Kind of a cyberpunk feel sometimes.

Is a die hard kandi kid. Usually has them in the theme of video games or anime. Basically his arms are covered in kandi but the ones from his friends stay safe in a Fanny pack.

As an avid raver, he knows what you need and has it when you need it. Chapstick? Check. Gum? Tons. Lighters? Honey it’s a sin that you’re even asking.

Absolutely partakes in “party favors” and gets very handsy and flirtatious. Is respectful but can be a handful. Usually ends up being babysat by Jirou. E, Molly, acid and shrooms.

Is a huge flirt. I personally feel like he’s Pan so the whole crowd is fair game for his flirting. Hella good kisser with guys girls and non binaries. Uses his quirk for minimal stimulation.

His quirk is definitely a raver’s delight. He’s usually the one helping power people’s phones, helping keep machines running in the off chance the power surge is too much. Uses it for stimulation during make out sessions or light shows. Will also give light shows. Can’t do it for too long though because the light shows require a lot of focus on maintaining the output to smaller levels.

His rave name is Pikachu and I’m not taking any arguments/complaints/criticisms.

Tenya Iida

Was invited a rave and didn’t mind it but too chaotic for his taste.

He’s usually the guy working the rave at the water stands, merch stands or medical tent.

Rave dad vibes. Yells to not run, drink water and highly discourages use of “party favors”.

Has been hit on a couple times but is a dork and it usually goes over his head.

T-shirts and cargo shorts are his staple outfit. Always with a camel pack

His engine quirk helps him get from one end of the festival grounds to the other in no time flat so he has a specific path for him to run through cuz those speeds will knock a bitch out.

Even though he doesn’t really rave he was given a rave name and it’s Sonic.

Mina Ashido

The epitome of a fucking rave queen. She’s one of the other reasons that everybody else got into raving.

Is everywhere. She listens to a bit of everything. Loves the energy of dubstep, loves shuffling to techno, can and will throws elbows in a mosh pit at a hard style stage and will sing with you at the mainstream stages.

She’s definitely a brand ambassador and wears all the cutest outfits with the coolest patterns and most awesome styles. Tastefully sexy outfits that show off just enough.

Absolutely a kandi kid. Very alien friendly themed kandi. Full arms of traded kandi and kandi that is yet to be traded.

She’s a super bright personality that draws people in. She gets equal attention from guys and girls and non binaries and will gladly make out with anybody that gives her a good vibe.

Definitely partakes in “party favors”. Loves Kandi Flipping and Jedi flipping. Is the kind to chew her cheek raw so she needs either a pacifier or lots of gum.

For obvious reasons, her quirk is a no no. Shooting acid everywhere? Yea let’s not.

Her rave name is Alien Queen or ET Babe

Hanta Sero

Absolutely loves raving and I’m gonna stick with the Latino HC. He is a moombatah and trap king. Also loves artists like Deorro that have a lot of Latin fusion in their stuff. When “Bailar” came out, he played it for hours on end.

Very lax clothes. Very much stoner style. But on rare occasions he goes with the Chad aesthetic. Has that undercut but with longer hair up top style and will often swing it it up in a man bun.

He’s a promoter for sure. Usually has access to backstage because he gets in good with DJs.

Does use “party favors” but is mainly 4/20 friendly. Loves shotgunning. Is usually the guy that carries extra “party favors”. Will def go on an acid or shroom trip with first timers.

Very sexually fluid so good vibes are pretty much all that are required. Hella god dancer and uses that to his advantage.

Has all the essentials. Especially lighters. Is the one that remembers the eye drops.

His rave name is definitely Papi or Rey (Spanish for King).

His quirk is another one that doesn’t have much use other than to wrangle in his wandering friends.

Momo Yaoyorozu

Wasn’t keen on going at first but when she saw that even Shoto was going, she thought she’d give it a try. Is another rich kid so does have the VIP access for the sake of having a good/comfy place to sit and rest.

Mainstream for sure. Very pop heavy vibes. Some house and trance

Very much the rave mom. Keeping everybody hydrated and safe.

Given that her quirk relies heavily on her energy and all that, she doesn’t partake in party favors

Tries to keep it cute but usually ends up looking more on the sexy side.

She’s been convinced to be a brand ambassador for the sake of modeling the clothes. But she always asks for the more covered up options.

Is too busy taking care of everybody to worry about meeting people.

Her quirk is perfect for raving. Being able to create anything certainly has come in handy. Makes her a god send to those who forgot something like lighter, chapstick, hair tie etc.

Her rave name would probably be Mama Momo.

Hitoshi Shinsou

Now this guy is heavy into psy-trance. Think more along the lines of artists like Infected Mushroom.

He’s the connect that everybody goes to. Meaning yes, he partakes in party favors. Particularly the psychedelics like shrooms and acid.

Very cyber punk/street wear vibes. Comfy but still fits that aesthetic. Absolutely uses either his voice mask or a gas mask.

He gives the mysterious vibe so he has a lot of people drawn to him. I feel like he gives major Pansexual vibes. He’ll mainly go make out with Denki if he’s solo.

Just a basic Fanny pack with a few things in it like gum, chapstick, lighter.

Definitely a glover. Loves giving light shows because it almost feels like he’s using his quirk.

Can use his quirk in this type of environment but the loudness makes it tricky. Will mainly use it for the purpose of making sure people take care of themselves.

Fumikage Tokoyami

I feel like Tokoyami would definitely be into more dubstep and psytrance.

He was very open minded about raving and definitely wanted to try it at least once.

Occasionally partakes in party favors but likes to be lucid.

Is also a glover like Shinsou. But with Dark Shadow, he can go all out with the tricks and visuals.

Very casual and comfortable. Baggy t shirts and sweats. Will sometimes dress with a cyber punk aesthetic if he feels like adding a little extra oomf.

Trades some kandi but not always.

Dark shadow is a conversation starter and the darkness proves to be particularly tricked but because there are constant sources of light (glow sticks, laser light shows, etc) it’s easily tamable.

Won’t put anybody on his shoulders but Dark Shadow will definitely help hoist somebody up for a better view.

Rave name would probably be things along the lines of ominous authors. So probably Edgar Allan Crow, F.T. Lovecraft, or just Lovecraft.

Keigo “Hawks” Takami

Oh this man? This man eats, sleeps, raves, repeats. He breathes PLUR.

He does partake in party favors but is responsible. He’s the one making sure you keep dosage to a minimal. E and Molly water. Acid sometimes. Shrooms make him feel funny

Can definitely afford the VIP tickets but would rather be in the crowd. Especially because he loves big groups. He’s definitely the kind of guy that gives Chad vibes when you first see him but he’s the complete opposite. Will definitely be the kind of guy to start shit with a Chad that won’t leave girls alone.

Totally shirt off the entire time. Will purposely do some subtle flexing just cuz he can.

Is totally hit on by guys gals and non binary alike. He is a looker so that’s to be expected. Usually cargo shorts are a go-to and he rocks bandanas.

Is a kandi kid for sure and loves to trade. He’s even made a few with his feathers attached but those are especially for people he REALLY vibes with.

He’s got a good mix of music taste. Will totally throw down with the hard stylers but definitely get lost and philosophical with the trancies.

Is a HELLA good kisser and uses his wings when he wants a little privacy.

Speaking of wings, those definitely come in handy at raves. I mean for one thing, they work like an umbrella when it’s hot out. Secondly they’re basically built in fans. Thirdly, they work for privacy. And he’ll totally fly you up and get you a better view of the show.

His charisma is definitely at 100 and I can totally see him getting you backstage to meet your fave artists.

The rave name is tricky but maybe Hawks will be the basic one. His friends use KFC or Red. No wait. Fuck it. Maverick or Top Gun. Something like that.
