Fully stocked on all of my seeds now. When I opened my package from Victory Seeds today I began to realize how much it feels like treasure, having these perfect little pods ready to produce food for us. A few times a year my Goldie mix loses about her size in undercoat with a really good brushing. I just finished the first "de-furring" of the year and she enjoyed the brushing immensely. Another incredible harvest. There's still over half the garden growing food so we aren't done yet, but it's definitely slowing down (phew). I've weighed every harvest and every individual type of food and so far, we have saved ourselves almost $1300 in produce (around 550lbs of food not including all of my pickings for dinner salads and herbs here and there). I have preserved more pounds of food than I can count and we've been eating from the garden for the past 5 months or so.
