The way Sam and Castiel look at each other when they first meet.

I'm still not over Castiel overpowering Lucifer to stop Lucifer from killing Sam. Castiel wasn't at their strongest mentally or physically yet Castiel still managed to keep Sam safe. Even if you don't ship them you can't disregard the fact that Castiel cares about Sam a lot.
