Liam shares the new about his full shift with the pack, and then he and Theo have some things to sort out.

Liam had said he wanted to keep it between Theo and himself that he could fully shift because he needed time to wrap his head around it. It wasn’t that he didn’t trust his pack or wanted to exclude them but it was overwhelming. Although Liam had not expected it to be that hard and almost impossible. Because the minute his Betas saw him during the morning, they pounced and demanded to know how he felt. Liam was in such a good mood after the great morning run and his time with Theo in the bathroom, but they still worried about their Alpha.

“Are you okay?" “Do you feel better?” “Did you sleep enough?” “Guys, whoa, deep breaths! Don’t forget to breathe, you all need air.” Liam said and raised his hands to calm the group down. “Are you still feeling sick? Do you feel worse? Will you die?” “Nobody dies here!” Liam said firmly. “I am feeling fine, great even. I....” He sighed and looked at Theo who chuckled and put one arm around his waist to pull him close. “Tell them.” He whispered into Liam’s ear, lips brushed the shell softly, but loud enough for the others to hear.

“Tell us what?” “Are you getting married?” “Are you adopting?” “Did you broke up? Don’t tell us you broke up!” “Look at them, as if they would ever break up. They smell even more in love this morning!” That one was true. Since they both could shift and had their run and their wolfy cuddles this morning, Liam felt an even deeper connection to Theo than before and he knew his mate felt the same. The mated couple now smiled at each other. Liam’s blue eyes shone with happiness. “I fully shifted last night for the first time!” He blurted out and the Betas got quiet.

“That’s not what I had expected.”, Maya said stunned. The others were not less perplex than her. “You really can do a full shift? Like Theo?” Nolan asked. Liam nodded and smiled. “Yeah.” He said happily. “It’s amazing.” The Betas were quiet for a moment, processed what Liam said, and then: “Show us! Show us! Show us!”

Liam and Theo shared a look and laughed at their Beta’s excitement. Liam pushed himself off the counter where he had braced his arms on and pulled his shirt over his head. It was still strange to undress and be naked in front of others, but the counter gave him a bit of privacy to completely undress. When he finally had dropped his clothes on the floor, he concentrated on his wolf and not long after felt the sensation he grew familiar with.

The pack gasped when they saw Liam in his wolf form for the first time. Theo knelt down and gently kissed the bridge of Liam’s nose. “Look at this beautiful wolf! Isn’t our Alpha the most beautiful one?” He raved and Liam grumbled pleased by the compliments. Who would not like to hear his mate fancy about his wolf form? “He is really pretty. Can we pet him?” Tim asked Theo. “Why are you asking me? It’s still Liam. He can hear you just right and his animal may be closer but he still has his human way of thinking. He just can’t answer with words.” Theo said with a laugh and Liam snuggled into his mate. Theo chuckled softly and wrapped his arms around his mate to kiss Liam’s neck. “My pretty Alpha.” He mumbled softly. “My beautiful mate.”

Liam loved to hear those words and would have loved to return them but right now he could not really do that and just brushed his nose against Theo’s cheek and grumbled happily. Then he stepped forward and allowed his Betas to pet him. “This is so cool. A real fucking wolf.” Mike whispered devoutly. Yet after a while, Liam realized why Theo didn’t like to be touched when he was shifted. Liam touching him was okay and Liam had no problem with Theo touching him but too many people grew to be pesky and he pulled away to shift back.

When he stood on his two human legs again, he heard Theo’s growl and smirked. “I don’t know why you’re gaping. Yes, my mate is attractive and gorgeous but he is just that: Mine! Eyes up!” The chimera snapped at the Betas. “I remember a similar situation months ago. The roles were just reversed and you had absolutely no problem with parading around butt naked.” Liam mocked his mate when he put his clothes back on and Theo glared at him. Liam just smiled innocently. “I was single at that time.” Theo reminded him. “So?” Liam asked, still keeping that innocent act up. “I didn’t like it either.” “You are now taken and Betas or not: Mine!” “You two are really possessive of each other. Is this a wolf trait?” Nolan asked curiously. “It’s a Thiam trait.” Liam and Theo said at the same time while they still looked at each other. Liam smirked and winked at Theo. Theo chimera held his glance and then his eyes dropped to Liam’s lip when Liam playfully bit it. Liam felt quite proud he could get this reaction out of his boyfriend.

“Come on, I’ll make you breakfast. Somebody wants to help me?” The young Alpha asked and when he walked past Theo, he brushed his fingers over his boyfriend’s chest in a teasing manner. “We’ll help you.” Maya and Sadie said. “And you tell us how you managed to shift, okay? Every detail.” Liam laughed and opened the fridge. “Okay.”

Liam kept his promise and told his Betas what happened. How his condition yesterday led to him shifting into a full wolf. They all marveled at the story and Liam felt the pride rush through the mating bound and when he looked over he saw Theo smile. Something Liam had to mention later when he and Theo were alone.

“You really like the fact I can fully shift now, hm?” He asked while he grabbed his laptop and settled at the desk in their room. “It takes a lot to fully shift and it’s an admirable work. Of course, I am proud of you.” Theo said and kissed Liam’s cheek. “You are amazing.” He muttered into Liam’s ear and sucked on the earlobe. Liam moaned softly and tilted his head when Theo kissed his neck. “You are amazing as well, T.” He mumbled and felt Theo smile against his skin. “And I love you.” “I love you too.” Theo muttered.

He leaned his head against Liam’s. “Do you want to work or why did you grab your laptop?” “Well, it’s Christmas break but I still need to figure out what to do with my major. Yes, I said I will stick with history as long as I don’t know what I rather want but I still want to try and figure it out, you know?” “You have to do what makes you happy. I want you to be happy.” Liam tilted his head back so he could look at Theo. “And what about you? I know you’re not happy with your job currently as well. So, have you thought of switching?” Theo shrugged. “Not really. It’s just a rough patch. I handled worse.” He smiled at Liam. “Don’t worry, okay? I can handle it.” “I know you can. You’re a tough cookie.” Theo rolled his eyes. “You’re lucky I love you, puppy.” He muttered and patted Liam’s shoulders. “if you need me, I will be in the library.”

“Okay.” Liam smiled and when his boyfriend left, he turned his attention towards his laptop. Before Winter break started, he had scheduled a meeting with the counselor and got a list of potential majors that might be interesting for Liam and now Liam planned on working through that list. He read through that list and at some point got joined by Koda who curled up next to his person and had Liam pet him from time to time.

“Cooking. Am I a chef?” Liam asked the little fella and Koda blinked at him. “Right. I like to cook when I have time but I hate to get stressed in the kitchen.” Liam scrolled further down the list. “What about game design? I like video games.” Koda yipped. “But I’m not artistic enough.” Liam muttered sadly and Koda put his front paws against his leg and looked up at the Alpha. Liam picked him up and put him on his lap, eyes still on the screen. “Mathematics?” Koda yawned. “Literature. Maybe I could become a writer.” Liam asked out loud and raised Koda so they could see eye to eye. The puppy licked his nose and Liam laughed. “Thanks for the support, buddy.”

“Literature? You want to major in literature?” Theo asked when Liam talked about his choices and possibilities later on during lunch. He still had not decided on anything but maybe it wasn’t so far-fetched and he shared his thoughts with his pack. Theo chimera had an eyebrow raised and looked at Liam. “It’s a possibility. Why not?” You look at me like I completely lost my mind.” “It’s just....” Theo shrugged. “You don’t like to read.” “Do I have to read in order to write?” “Would be useful, yeah. You are also not very good with words.” Being brutally honest with each other was their thing. Didn’t mean Liam had to like what he heard. “Wow, thanks, darling. Always nice to get a compliment from you.” He said sarcastically and Theo rolled his eyes. “I’m just being real, sweetheart. That’s almost as if I would switch to major in Spanish.” Theo hated Spanish with a fierce passion. Liam could remember the many tests Theo almost failed and just passed because Liam sat him down to study.

Liam narrowed his eyes at his boyfriend and Theo held his glare relatively unimpressed. “What else do you have?” Liam shrugged. “I’m still working through the list.” He mumbled and continued eating his food. Maybe history was the best for him. “What about Med? Following in your dad’s footsteps?” Tim offered and Liam grimaced. “I wouldn’t be a good doctor and besides I have enough blood and pain in my daily life, I don’t need to add to this.” “The second reason agreed, but I can actually see you being a great doctor. A pediatrician. Kids would love you.” “Speaking of kids: Kindergarten teacher, how about that?” Maya suggested. “Ah, yes that would be a great fit.”, Tim said with a nod. “No! No job for Liam where he has access to finger paint and glitter!” Theo strictly said and Liam snorted into his water he had been drinking. “I smell a story behind that.”, Sadie responded with a grin and Liam chuckled. “Uh, I know that one.” Nolan remembered. “The blue handprint on Theo’s truck door.” “On the truck door. On the seats, On the freaking window. With glitter!” Theo growled and Liam laughed “That was a fun day!” “Not for me.”, Theo said dryly. “I even had a handprint in blue on my cheek and glitter in my hair because Liam felt the need to touch my face.” “You looked good.”, Liam said innocently and Theo growled again. “Save it!”

****** Liam had been bored after lunch and decided to clean up a bit. While he started, he had found a box full of things belonging to Theo. He cradled it to his chest and carried it in the library where Theo had moved back to after they ate.

“Baby?” Liam asked and Theo raised his head from his book with a sigh. He hated to be interrupted when he was reading. “I’m cleaning up a bit and found this box. Do you want to keep those things inside?” He asked. “It stood in the closet.” Theo sighed again but put his book aside and moved closer to look through the things. It was various stuff and he shook his head. “Not really. If you want something from it, you can keep it, but if you want to throw it away, that’s fine by me too.”

Liam put the box on the ground and sorted through the things. Some old and empty pens, old notepads, papers, two art magazines, things you gather over time. “And you’re mocking me for being chaotic?“ Liam asked while he sorted through the box of things Theo kept but never really needed. “We don’t live in this house for so long, how did you manage to gather all this already?“ “I gathered it over the years and just stored it there.“ Theo defended himself. “Can I continue reading or do you insist on continue mocking me?“

Liam grinned at him and Theo rolled his eyed before he raised his book again and began reading again. Not for long because Liam found something. “You have drawing chalks?“ Theo groaned and Liam knew he was stressing it and really going on his mate’s nerves but he couldn’t help it. It was interesting, to say the least, and he was bored but also wanted to spend time with Theo, even though they were not doing something together per se.

“I got it sometime, think it was in a set I once brought.“ Theo drawled. “Why?“ “Nothing. Can I have it?“ Liam asked and grabbed a large drawing pad. “And that one?“ “Sure. I don’t need it. I don’t like drawing with chalk and I rather draw on smaller pads than that. Feel free to do whatever you want to do with it.“ “Kay, thanks.“

Theo hummed and returned his attention back to his book and Liam settled on the floor underneath the window to spread out everything and have enough space to work. He opened the box carefully and marveled at the array of colors before he picked the black chalk and started with the outlines. He didn’t have a complete idea but a vague image in mind. Enough to get him started and give him something, to begin with.

“If you were a hero on a quest to save the kingdom, what kind of companion would you like?“ He asked while smudging some lines with his index finger. He didn’t even need to see it, to know Theo rolled his eyes because he heard the deep sigh from his boyfriend. “An Ork.“ Theo grumbled but didn’t elaborate. “Okay. Thanks.“ Liam said and continued drawing and Theo huffed and turned a page in his book.

It took two minutes and Liam spoke again. “Which shade of red is prettier?“ Theo tilted his head back and let it thud against the backrest oft he couch. “Liam, I swear!“ “I’m sorry, I’m just curious!“ Liam knew Theo wanted to read in peace but he couldn’t help himself. “Liam, I love you, but you are annoying. Like a really overexcited puppy. Think you can let me just read? Pick whatever color you like and let me finish my book!“ “Okay, sorry, sorry.“

Liam decided on one red chalk and began to color what he had drawn before. He stopped every once in a while to rub the chalk and create a better look. Some particles of the chalks got in his nose and she sneezed. “Liam!“ "I sneezed!“ Liam defended himself and tried to refrain from rubbing his nose with his stained fingers. Theo just growled and moved into a better position to read. It didn’t need their deep connection for Liam to know his boyfriend was mad. That wasn’t what he wanted and he bit his lip while he tried not to make too many sounds from now on. When even his sneezing set Theo off, the chimera was pissed as hell. Liam was sorry about that. He knew he could be annoying but he wanted to just tease Theo a bit in the beginning. That it was all serious now had not been what he wanted to achieve.

“Theo, I’m so….“ “For fuck’s sake, Liam, just shut up! All I want is to read, is this so hard to understand?“ “I just wanted to apo…“ “You’re still talking!“ Theo snapped and looked at him. “And you have chalk on your cheek. Seriously, sometimes you’re worse than a little kid and I feel like your babysitter.“ Liam rubbed his cheek where he supposed the chalk to be and it came back stained with black. Theo’s words hurt but he knew he had brought this upon himself. He nodded and said nothing to his defense. Theo was right, he was annoying and it was better when he stayed silent for a while now. He just had been excited to be a bit creative and be with Theo. Since his full shift, he felt an even stronger connection to Theo and wanted to be around him. Guess for Theo he just came off as clingy.

He quietly grabbed the drawing pad and the chalk and slowly got up again and sneaked out of the room. He walked upstairs into their bedroom and moved in front of one of the window seats to work there. That way he didn’t disturb Theo too much. And to tune out the silence, he grabbed his music player and plucked in his headphones.

Liam drew what came to his mind and was currently working on a set of beautiful hummingbirds with vibrant colored feathers. He had an idea where he wanted to go with it but it was also fun to play around with the various colors the box had to offer, mix some of them together and create something entirely new. When it was time to cook dinner and Maya called him for help, Liam’s hand were stained with chalk dust and he spent a minute scrubbing them in the bathroom before dutifully cleaning the sink ere he walked downstairs into the kitchen and started cutting potatoes and helping Maya preparing her potato gratin. “Are you okay?” She asked him. “Yeah. Why?” Liam said with a brave smile. “You are so quiet. Sure everything is okay?” Liam nodded and obviously, he got better at lying because his Beta didn’t pick up on the lie. Liam was not really okay, he was more or less avoiding his grumpy mate.

Theo had several moods, one when he was in a really bad one, where he needed to get pushed to the point where he exploded and just yelled out his frustration; but there was also the mood he currently was in, when he was annoyed and pissed, and Liam knew the best thing was to avoid the chimera when he was like that. It hurt, even more, because he was the reason Theo was so mad right now, but that’s how the twenty-two-year-old worked.

When Ever called Theo for dinner, he grumbled about disturbing his peaceful time but he followed her towards the table and sat down to grab something to eat. During dinner, Liam thought Theo’s mood was slowly getting better, but right at the end, Theo received a text from his boss with his schedule in the new year and his mood reached a critical point. He gritted his teeth, scoffed, and slammed the door to the library shut behind him. “Let him.”, Liam said. “He’s in a bad mood today. We all have those days. It’s human.”

And he followed his own advice and left Theo to his books. He returned to their room and kept on drawing for a while longer until Theo suddenly stepped into the room and went straight to changing into his pajamas. “You literally have chalk everywhere, even on your shirt.” He said with a sigh but it wasn’t really fond. More like he was exhausted and fed up with Liam’s antics. “You know, I can wash, that’s not a big deal, and I will clean up after I’m done.” “You look and act like a toddler, you are aware of that? So much for strong Alpha. It’s so exhausting sometimes.” Theo shook his head.

“Okay, I am aware you are in a bad mood, we all are aware of that. But calm down now, okay?” Liam said. He really tried to keep his voice calm, even though his hurt feelings and his anger issues were starting to boil inside him. “Maybe I wouldn’t be in a bad mood if I had managed to read in peace without some hyperactive human puppy always interrupting me!” “I wanted to spend time with you!” “Well, I wanted to read. But let me guess, if Liam wants something, we all have to drop everything, right?” “I never said that!” Liam called out. “Right. But that’s what you are thinking.” “It’s not. Stop telling me what I think and what not!” Liam snarled. Theo just smiled smugly. “Is the little wolfy getting irritated?” “Stop that.” Liam said with a shake of his head. “You’re being mean.” “I’m just keeping it real. Something you obviously don’t like that much.” Theo sneered. “But really, this is not how I will spend my night. Curl in the bed and cry yourself to sleep because everybody is being so mean to the poor little Alpha wolfy. I think I’m going to sleep in the library! As far away from you as possible.” He grabbed his pillow and his blanket and rushed out. And Liam was left standing there. “Fuck you!” He shouted after Theo and slammed the door shut. Moments later the door to the library slammed shut too.

It was hard to fight with Theo, Liam knew it would always be hard. But they both were stubborn, they both had their pride, and both could be emotional. Their fights were meant to be nasty and hard. And devastating when the anger receded and the sadness came up. Liam hated fighting with Theo, always had hated it since they became friends. Theo and he had this connection and now they only deepened this connection by becoming a couple and sharing the mating bond.

And like always when he and Theo fought, Liam felt cold. He put his drawings together and cleaned up, then he washed his hands again and changed into PJs as well before he slipped under the covers. The bed was way too big for him alone and Theo’s side looked strange without pillow and blanket. Liam turned around and decided to ignore this as well as the ache in his chest. He wrapped himself in the blanket to be as warm as possible and tried to fall asleep.

But the longer he laid there, the more it became prominent he couldn’t fall asleep. His thoughts were with Theo downstairs and he thought about everything. Did Theo feel sorry too? Or was he still mad at Liam? Their mating link was blocked since their fight, he had no idea who Theo really felt. Liam sighed and rolled on his back, stared at the dark ceiling. He missed the chimera, missed his body beside him, his arms around Liam, his scent, his heartbeat, his warmth. He even missed Theo’s smile and the fond way he looked at Liam. Liam groaned an pulled the blanket over his head, hid from the world. He swallowed and curled up under the covers, hands grabbed the pillow so tight, his knuckles turned white. It felt like his whole body shut down and even swallowing hurt right now. Every bone ached but the worse was his heart. His heart which felt like an ice cold chain was wrapped around it and squeezed every drop of life and every ounce of happiness out of it. It hurt and the longer he laid in bed, the worse it got until he finally couldn’t take it anymore. He threw the covers back and got out of bed.

Liam struggled a bit on his feet, which was new for him and when he walked towards the door he bumped against the doorframe with his shoulder. It was a short numb pain and he rubbed his shoulder while he tiptoed down the stairs. The house was dark and empty, everyone seemed asleep, and Liam moved carefully.

He hesitated in front of the library and thought about knocking but then decided against it and just opened the door to slip inside. The room was dark too but he could make out Theo curled on the couch. His heart ached when he thought Theo was sleeping peacefully and seemed to not have the same problems as Liam, but then Liam noticed the small whimpers, stifled by the blanket pulled over Theo. The young Alpha slowly walked over and then simply lifted the blanket to slip behind Theo and immediately wrap his arms around him.

Theo let out a startled sound but Liam didn’t stop, tugged the covers over their heads, and hid his face in the crook of Theo’s neck. Even if Theo kicked him out again, he needed this short moment of being close to his mate. God, he sounded so needy and clingy again... “Liam.” Theo murmured softly. Liam didn’t butch. He wanted to make this last as long as he could. “Liam.” Theo tried again. He moved softly in Liam’s grip, so Liam was forced to move his head too, yet when Theo finally faced him, Liam didn’t dare to meet his eyes. Against Liam’s fears, Theo reached out and softly stroked his cheek. “Please, don't cry.” Was he crying? Liam had not really noticed but now that Theo mentioned it, he realized his cheeks were wet and the tears were rolling down his cheeks. Theo wiped the tears away with his fingers but new ones were falling down immediately.

And then Theo engulfed him in this tight embrace and a strangled sob escaped his lips before he clung to Theo like he was drowning and Theo was his lifesaver. “I didn’t want to annoy you.” Liam sobbed and Theo buried his head in the crook of Liam’s neck while he shook his head. “Theo.”, Liam mumbled. “Theo, please. I’m sorry.” His voice broke at the end and he whimpered. He needed Theo to say something! “Theo, please! Kick me out! Punch me! But talk to me!” He begged. Theo remained silent and Liam grew desperate. Was Theo that mad at him? Did he hate him so much? Liam could not bear this any longer but then Theo suddenly did speak. “I am sorry.” He whispered and swallowed harshly. “I am sorry for being such a terrible mate and making you cry.” “You are not terrible! I am sorry for making you so mad you snapped.” “I’m sorry for snapping.”

Liam sighed. He knew them both, this could go on and on. So he simply pulled Theo tighter. “Come here.” He whispered and hugged Theo as tight as he could without hurting his boyfriend. Theo hugged him back and for a while, they just laid there and hugged it out.

“I missed you.” Liam murmured after a while. “It’s why I came down. I couldn't stand being separated from you any longer.” “I couldn’t stand it any longer either but I wasn’t sure if I was allowed to come back. If you wanted to see me.” Theo confessed. Liam pulled back and made Theo look at him. “Hey, look at me! I always want to see you. No matter how much we fight, no matter how angry I am, I always want to see you, okay?”

They stared at each other and finally, Theo nodded. “Good.”, Liam said with a small smile. “Can I kiss you?” “You can always kiss me. Even in the middle of a screaming match. You are always allowed to kiss me.”

And so Liam did kiss Theo. Soft and sweet and full of love and it felt like his broken heart snapped into one again. He had his Theo back for good. Maybe it was just imagination but this kiss tasted sweeter than any other kiss they ever shared. Theo sighed into the kiss and returned it as soft as Liam started it and when they finally broke apart, he smiled. “I love you.” Both muttered at the same time and laughed. “Everything okay between us again?” Liam asked and Theo nodded softly. “I had enough emotional drama to last a few months.” The older replied and yeah, Liam could get behind that.

“So, do you want to sleep?” Theo shook his head. “Can’t. I’m too riled up. Too many emotions to calm, down and just sleep, you know?” “Yeah, me too.” Liam thought for a moment. “We could build a blanket fort in our bedroom. That way we have something to curl up in, have something to shield us from the world, and it’s a fun thing to pass time. It’s also years since I last build one.” "The last one was on our first Christmas together, right? After the war.” Theo remembered and Liam smiled. “When we watched How to train your dragon and discussed which dragon we would like to train.” He added. Theo chuckled. “Yeah. Okay. Let’s go build a blanket fort.”

He slowly untangled himself from Liam and the blanket and the stood up and held out his hand for Liam. Liam took it and let himself get pulled off the couch. He grabbed Theo’s blanket and Theo grabbed his pillow before they sneaked back into their room hand in hand.

In there Liam got pulled against Theo again and he received another soft kiss. “I love you.” The chimera muttered and nosed along Liam’s jaw. “I love you too.”, Liam said and gently squeezed his arm. “Now, come on, let’s build the fort, then we can cuddle.” Theo chuckled and kissed his cheek but then he let go of Liam to gather everything they needed. If you asked Liam, he would say he didn’t have many talents but building a blanket fort was one of them. He knew what to place where to get the best and coziest blanket fort ever seen. Theo was a great helper and soon enough they had the blankets strapped to the wardrobe and the bed and had created a comfortable and fluffy base with lots of blankets and pillows.

“Those?” Theo asked and held up a string of fairy lights. Liam looked up from where he had fiddled with his laptop and nodded. “Of course. No blanket fort without lights.” He said and Theo grinned before he got up and hung up the lights on the makeshift ceiling of their little hideaway. Liam had managed to get the laptop running so they had some soft music playing in the background while they worked.

When they were finally done, Liam was proud of their fort. “It looks awesome!” He said with a proud nod and his hands on his hips while he surveyed what they had done. Theo hummed his approval and then pulled the blanket aside that they used as curtain fo the entrance. “Get your sexy ass inside.”

Liam chuckled but then crawled into the fort and slipped under the blankets there. Theo joined him not long after and when the curtain fell, it became darker and only the fairy lights and three bigger lights that looked like candles but were LED lights Liam had placed on the side, gave them light. It was cozy, it was secluded, it was everything.

Theo crawled next to Liam and both laid there, shoulders touching and both on their backs, while they looked at the sparkling lights above them. “We really need to learn to cope better with our emotions.” Liam said after a while. “We are both emotionally so invested in each other, this will be hard. But you’re right, we need to work on this.” Theo agreed. Liam hummed and slowly reached out to rub the back of his hand against Theo’s before he finally laced their fingers together. “We will work on this together because together is where we belong. And together we will manage it.” He was sure of that. “Yeah. You and me, we’re quite the dream team. We could take over the world.” Theo said with a chuckle and Liam laughed. “Seattle today, tomorrow the world.” He liked that idea and rolled on his side to face Theo. Theo turned his head and looked at him.

“Hi.” He said with a smile. “Hi.” Liam replied with a chuckle. They looked at each other with all the love and adoration they had for each other and Liam slowly moved closer to put his head on Theo’s chest and toss his arm over Theo’s stomach. “I’m so happy to have you.” He said lowly.

Theo wrapped his arm around Liam’s shoulder and stroke over his back and between his shoulder blades. “I’m happy to have you too.” He responded and pulled Liam momentarily closer to press a soft kiss on his forehead. “You’re my favorite blanket fort building partner.” Liam confessed and Theo laughed loudly. “Don’t let Mason hear this!” “Nah, I’m sure he takes Corey over me any day.” “I’m sure he takes Corey...No, I’m not making this dirty joke!” Liam chortled. “You just did, if you finish or not doesn’t matter. Dirty mind!” “You love my dirty mind.” “Oh yes, I do.” Liam pushed himself up so he could lean over Theo. “I’m your naughty little Alpha after all, aren’t I?” Theo smirked. “Damn right you are.”

He put his hand on the back of Liam’s neck and pulled him down to kiss him. Liam melted into the kiss and pressed against Theo to kiss him back. Soon enough Theo wrapped his other arm around Liam’s waist and completely pulled the young Alpha on top of him. It was not even sexual at this very moment, both just wanted to be as close as possible.

“I love you so much and I actually loved it when you came to stick around in the library. It’s nice to have you that closeby. Even though I still have no idea what exactly you were doing and just wanted to read at that point.” Theo told Liam in a break between the soft kisses they shared. “I did some drawing with the chalks, nothing important.” Liam waved it off but he had not counted on Theo now showing actual interest in his work. “Well, will you show me?” “I can show you one other time. It’s really nothing major.” “Liam, hey. You spent hours with this, so please let me see what you did. I showed you my art too.” That was something he could not argue with and he sighed. “Okay, fine. But don’t laugh.”

He pecked Theo’s lips and then got up from his boyfriend (which sounded dirtier than it was) and crawled out of their fort. He walked to the desk to grab his drawings and carry them over to the fort. When Liam crawled back in, Theo had sat up. “I would never laugh.” He promised Liam and held out his hand.

Liam bit his lower lip and handed the drawings over. He viewed Theo as an insanely talented artist so he was afraid what his mate would have to say about his ragged drawings. Theo looked through them all and took his time to inspect every single one closely. “You drew this? I really had no idea you could do that.” “I can’t draw shit with a pencil but with chalks, it gets easier. Probably because I can smudge the lines or whatever, I’m not sure. I’m better when I can I use my hands fully. I mean, I know it’s nothing compared to your art but it was fun for today.” “This is stunning, Liam. Absolutely amazing. Those hummingbirds are certainly pretty.” Liam smiled softly. “You mean that?” Theo looked at him. “You know I’m not lying to make you feel better. Never have and never will. We keep things 100 between us.” He held up the drawings with the hummingbirds and pointed at one with bright blue feathers and a dark blue head. “I especially love that one.”

“Those are hummingbird fairies.“ Liam explained. “This is their animal form.“ “Hummingbird fairies?“ Theo asked. “They are part of a world I once created inside my head. Mason and I once thought it would be cool to create a video game like Skyrim – I know not very innovative – and I started to invent some beings of this world. The hummingbird fairies were part of that. They can either transform into a hummingbird or be in their fairy form with their little wings and all. They are very rare and most say they don‘t exist. Very shy creatures and usually peaceful, even though they can defend themselves.“

Theo looked at him the same way he had looked at Liam back then at the zoo when he talked about Mykonos. “I take back what I said about you becoming a writer. You should definitively write a book.“ Liam blushed. “This is just one idea and it’s not even very innovative. Also, I don‘t know how to design a game so it will never be a reality. And I don‘t have a good enough idea or a better idea to turn it into a book.“ “I like what you already drew and you can always develop the idea and either work with somebody to turn it into a game or turn this idea into a real book one day. Some bestsellers grew from less than that. You don’t need to have that one idea no one else ever had before you. It’s simply important to pour your heart into it and get your own twist on the thing.“ Theo put the drawings carefully aside and put his arms around Liam to bring them both into a lying position. They faced each other and Theo had one arm over Liam‘s hips, stroking him through his shirt.

“Tell me more.“ He said softly and Liam smiled. “I think it would be cool to have different dragons. But not really as enemies. I mean, of course, some you have to slay, but I think it would be cool if lots of the enemies in the game could become your friends. Like, if you feed the wild animals instead of attacking them, they don‘t kill you but join you, you know?“ “Sounds very interesting. Do you have any main storyline in your mind?“ Liam shook his head and reached out to play with the pack pendant on Theo’s necklace which had slipped out of his shirt. “As I said, it was just a crazy idea.“ “Not really that crazy. You have Mike who has money on one hand and is great with computers on the other. If you two work together, you may be able to realize this game one day, baby.“ “Are you having a fever? Are you delirious?“ Liam asked and felt Theo’s forehead. The chimera huffed. “I’m trying to encourage you here, idiot.“ “Aww, you say the sweetest things, you dork!“ Liam replied dryly and yelped when Theo rolled on top of him and pressed him down on the pillows and blankets.

“Does my little Alpha get cheeky? Guess I have to teach you some manners!“ He teased. “And here I thought you enjoyed me being your naughty little Alpha. Now you want to teach me some manners? That‘s a shame.“ “You seem to like this nickname a lot since you so often tease me with it.“ Theo noticed and grinned. “Maybe.“ Liam said with a grin of his own and then pulled Theo down to kiss him.

Their kiss was sweet and loving and when they parted, both smiled like the lovesick young men they were. “I love you.“ Liam told Theo. “I love you too.“ Theo said and kissed Liam’s nose. “More than the stars and the moon. You are my everything, Liam.“ “You sure know how to make me feel special, Dore.“ “You are special, baby.“ Theo kissed Liam’s lips this time, gently tugging at the lower lip with his teeth. Liam chuckled breathlessly and arched against him. His hands stroked across Theo’s broad back and he loved to feel the muscles shift under the skin and the shirt every time Theo moved ever so slightly.

When they looked at each other again, Theo’s eyes glowed gold, but not with the unhidden lust and hunger as usual but with fondness. “You are the most amazing person in the whole wide world and I can’t believe you’re really my mate.” He whispered before he kissed Liam’s lips again and gently licked them.

“I am yours as much as you are mine because no one else gets me like you. No one makes me feel like you do. You too are an amazing person, Theo Raeken.” Liam replied, eyes glowed red, and when Theo smiled at him, this one private smile he had reserved for only Liam, the happy and carefree one that made his eyes light up, his heart skipped a beat and he smiled back.

Theo looked down and gently put his hand right over Liam’s heart. “When the ground opened again and I could crawl out, that was the first thing I heard. Your heartbeat. Not Hayden’s, not Mr. Douglas’, yours.” He suddenly said and Liam’s breath hitched in surprise. He reached up and laced his fingers with Theo’s above his heart. “Did it scare you?” “I spent my whole time in hell being scared, so yeah. But it also led me out and I knew where to go so I could crawl out. Since then I noticed your heartbeat over anybody else’s.” Liam kissed him gently. “I love you.” It was all he could say right now. He had no words for how happy Theo made him, how amazing it was to hear those words. So he stuck to the simple love confession but when he saw the way Theo’s eyes lit up, he knew his mate had understood him.

Theo curled next to him again, close as possible, and gently kissed Liam’s neck before he rested his head against Liam’s shoulder. They still had their fingers laced together and Liam stroked over the back of Theo’s hand with his thumb. “Have I ever thanked you for helping me break the whole werewolf news to Mason?” Liam asked thoughtfully. Theo hummed in amusement. “I don’t think so. But you know I only did this to go through with my scheme around that time?” “Hush and take the thanks. Without you, I probably would have never told him. So, thank you.”

“You’re sweet, puppy.” Theo kissed his forehead. “I love this about you. And I also love that you kept your childlike excitement, even though I said differently earlier that night. I am sorry about that too by the way.” “Stop apologizing. We both did things the other didn’t like today.” Liam stroked through Theo’s hair and snuggled closer to him.

“No matter how often we fight, there is no one else I’d rather be with. You are the love of my life, Theo, I want to be with your forever.” Liam muttered and Theo gently squeezed his hand. “I feel the same way about you, Liam, and I hope I can show you this every day.” “You do.” Liam told him. “In everything you do.” He meant every single word. Liam was well aware Theo loved him and he loved Theo just as much. They finally got together after years and he would keep it that way for the rest of their lives. They came such a long way and had so many amazing years ahead of them.

Liam sighed. “Beacon Hills, everything we’ve been through, feels like it happened in another life. Trashing my coach’s car, transferring to Beacon Hills, getting bitten and meeting you, me and Hayden being a couple, the Ghost Riders, the war. As if that happened to different people.” “I know what you mean. It’s crazy.” Theo agreed. “I like how it turned out. Especially that you are my boyfriend now.” He sounded proud at the end and Liam’s lips curved into a smile. “Imagine if we had gotten our shit together in high school and had dated there. Imagine how different it would have been.” “Different?” Theo asked. “I’m not sure it would have been that different. Sure, I would have been a lot happier, but the main events wouldn’t have been different, would they?”

“Uh uh.” Liam raised his head so he could look better at Theo. “Take prom for example. We would have gone there as a couple, not just as friends.” “We didn’t go to prom.” Theo reminded him. “Because someone had to land himself in the hospital.” “It wasn’t my fault the hunters came after me! But that saved me the humiliation of dancing so I guess that was something good out of the whole mess.” Theo laughed. “Liam, you can dance!” “I certainly can’t. Drunk me maybe, sober me is like a turtle on ice. Not made for dancing.”

Liam needed one look at his boyfriend’s face to know Theo got an idea. The chimera smirked and sat up before he leaned over Liam to change the song playing on his laptop to something nice and slow. He then pulled the curtain aside and left their fort before he looked back at Liam. “Come on, let’s dance.” “I will not dance with you now! This is too fucking cliché.” “First of, nobody’s here to judge. Secondly, we are hopelessly in love with each other and when it comes to the two of us we can be insanely cliché, so don’t make a fuss.” “I can’t dance.” Liam argued but still got out of the fort and stepped to Theo. “But of course you can, even when you’re sober. You’re good at almost everything, huh?”

Theo chuckled and pulled Liam closer before he put his hands on Liam’s hips. “I don’t plan on teaching you how to dance the tango. It’s just swaying back and forth, Alpha puppy.” “Easy for you to say.” Liam muttered. Theo naturally moved good in every situation. He was very gracefully and Liam was...not. He was more forceful, had gross sensory motor skills, and graceful wasn’t really something that Liam associated with himself. He still wrapped his arms around Theo’s neck and let his boyfriend guide his hips into swaying.

“You have no idea how you move sometimes, right? When you’re out on the lacrosse field for example. You play and then you make a great shot or manage to outrun your opponent and you get this beaming smile on your face and you just ooze self-confidence. When you’re in that state, you move so amazingly and, Liam, you look hot as fuck. Hotter than usually. And even more attractive than usual. It’s not my favorite look of you but it’s in the top five.”

“How can you say something and sound sexy and sweet at the same time?” Liam was actually amazed by this. Hello! Hello! So excited to share another fantastic creator this time on BTS. Thanks to everyone who’s given this series love and interest. It’s because of you that we keep highlighting the lovely talent in this fandom and today, is no exception. The writer of Compared to the Moon, Six/Seven, and more, parttimehuman, somehow stumbled into our ship and we’re damn happy she’s decided to stay haha. Read on to learn more about her.

Mercy! Ayyy, thanks for letting me besiege you with questions lol. Since the Thiam fandom is quite familiar with one another by now, any facts about you or your life that we’d be surprised to know?

I have a bachelor degree in financial mathematics. (Although I’m not sure how surprising that is.)

That’s wild, mostly because I can’t imagine beasting through an entire degree of math alone. Completely random, but I doubt I’ll have a chance to ask this again. In Shows/Movies, when the characters are in Math class and answering questions on the board, have you ever looked at their solution and thought, “wrong.” I always wondered if those were accurate.

Bold of you to assume that I still know high school math just because I’ve studied the more advanced stuff. Still, it has happened, yeah.

Ahh, touche, touche. Why don’t we actually talk about Teen Wolf and Thiam now lol. How did you find your way to the Thiam fandom? What about them drew you in?

It was a long and not very easy way, to be honest. I think I didn’t get beyond the pilot episode of Teen Wolf until the third try. I had over a month of free time after I graduated from uni, so naturally, I was bored. I finally watched all seasons. Thiam as a ship? Yeah, I’m not going to pretend like it was anything other than Cody Christian’s sexy ass that made that happen. And Theo’s heart-eyes for Liam in 6b of course. I wrote two fics, didn’t mean to stick around for long, and then I was invited to a certain Discord…

What do you think changed between your first time watching and your third?

You want me to be really honest? I had more time, was a little more bored out, had less other options. That’s about it.

Alol nothing but the truth here. Well, now that you’ve fully accepted the TW lifestyle, how would you put your own touches on a Season 7 spin off. What would be your very first scene and very last scene of the pilot episode? As an artist, how would you put your personal touch on those two scenes?

The first scene would be a steamy face-punching/make-out session between Liam and Theo. With proper lighting. Brett would be alive. Liam would look exactly like Dylan Sprayberry does. The last scene would be Theo falling asleep in an actual bed. With Liam’s arms wrapped around him. And forehead kisses. There would be a fist bump somewhere in that episode. And probably a lacrosse game. It would basically be an AU where it never gets dark because we all deserve to see properly after 6 seasons of TW.

“Proper Lighting,” *Slow Clap.* Honestly, we are owed that at this point. As a creator, do you only write Thiam? Any other fandoms or Pairings? Novels or Stories with Original Characters?

No. Actually, I believe these days I write slightly more for other pairings from Teen Wolf. I also have a longfic for another fandom in the works (The Raven Cycle). I will probably write a novel one day, I have quite a collection with abandoned attempts, actually. Apart from that, just like I do in the Thiam pack, I like to write my friends from real life little stories. I guess none of my characters are truly original, strictly speaking, because they’re always either borrowed from a fandom or I insert people I personally know in my stories.

Yessss! Just started the Raven Thieves and it’s my everything. Of all your stories, what’s been your favorite(s) to write or reread thus far?

Compared to the Moon. If I were to make a list here, the 26 chapters of Compared would be the first 26 points on it. After that I’d put My Sister’s Keeper, although it had me crying like a baby. As for smut, I’d say The Hot Cop Showdown, which is about Theo and Liam both turning up at a bachelor party in a police uniform, only that one of them’s an actual police officer, and one’s a stripper. The fun in that was that I wrote it live for a bunch of people who were guessing who was who, and I made my decision completely spontaneously.

Yass let’s definitely talk Compared to the Moon quickly because the worldbuilding is quite intriguing. First, for anyone unfamiliar could you offer a quick summary? How did you come up with what colors corresponds with an emotion? On an average day, what would your color undertone be?

Compared to the Moon is a High School AU where everyone is human, with the little bonus that people show their emotions as colors beneath their skin. While Liam, captain of the lacrosse team, bears a quite prominent red mark in his neck and back and is generally unable to control his colors, Theo, who’s new in school and the lacrosse team, doesn’t have any. They get off on the wrong foot, become roommates, fall in love. There’s a whole lot of drama. And a happy ending, but they do have to work a lot for it.

The idea to that fic came from a drunken conversation with my best friend who doesn’t give a single shit about Teen Wolf or my fics, but the thought had stuck with me. I did a bit of research on the meaning of different colors, but as I continued writing it, I more and more decided to not pay too much attention to that. One of the messages I wanted to convey was to not judge a book by its cover, which, of course, happens a lot in a world where people carry their emotions right under their skin. But the point is that you still never know. What exactly does Liam’s red stand for? Anger? Aggression? Pain? Blood? Or maybe passion? Leadership? Courage? Love?

And what does it mean that Theo doesn’t show them? Is he any less of a human being because of that? Does he not feel?

By the time I got towards the ending of the story, I’d realized that I didn’t want to answer any of these questions. And even if I had wanted to, I couldn’t have.

As for me, I feel like I’d be a little more blue and a little more yellow than I’d be other colors, for reasons I cannot explain.

That’s honestly lovely, especially since each color has a myriad of hues and therefore meanings. Including Compared to the Moon, would you say there’s one trope weaving your stories together?

Probably some form of bed sharing/sleeping together/cuddling. One of them watching the other. Someone who’s usually kept awake by nightmares finally getting some rest. Lazy mornings in bed together. Hand holding. Eskimo kisses. Innocent touches. Just a whole lot of vulnerability and trust and softness.

And I remember reading way back when (like Truth or Chimera haha) days that you write all of your stories by hand. Can you go into your writing process a little? Do you still keep everything you’ve written?

I don’t do that anymore. I write my notes per hand, also sometimes a few lines or ideas, but that’s about it. I’ve published around 600k words in the last year, so at some point I gave it up with the handwriting. I still have all my notes, though, among them the letter Theo wrote to Liam in Compared to the Moon. I’m a notebook hoarder, and I find that there’s a certain aesthetic to handwritten things, but now I mostly just sit in bed with my laptop and a kitty when I write.

Whatttt, live writing!?! How does it feel to write openly like that? Do you think it’s changed the way you create?

I mostly write my smut live. It’s amazing because the people who are following it can throw in their own ideas and make wishes. Many times that’s resulted in me taking a story into directions I wouldn’t have thought of myself. It’s a challenge, because you have to let go of the idea of changing something you’ve already written. Ultimately, I do it because the pressure of people literally waiting for the next sentence gets me to actually sit my ass down and type words.

I think it’s made me more spontaneous and more open to the idea of going into unknown directions. Most of the time, I have no idea what I want to write when I start writing it. But I’ve definitely learned not to stress myself about that. Some of the best things happen while live writing. By the way, almost all of Six and Seven has been written live.

Ok, it’s got to be asked lol. Six and Seven. How?! How do you write such steamy scenes and still retain the essence of the characters. Any writing wisdom to impart for writers who want to improve their smut skills?

This is a tough question, because if I’m being honest, I think the least about what I’m doing when I’m writing smut. I just go with it. I think a few good things to keep in mind are these: Call a dick a dick. Please and thank you. Consent is sexy, safe sex is sexy. There is no such thing as too much lube. Bananas and sex should never be combined. Communication is key. Literally. Dirty talk is the absolute best thing a smut writer can do, if you ask me. Them talking about their likes and preferences? Hot! One of them making the other ask for what they need? Hot! A nickname, a “Sir”, a praise, some begging? Hot, hot, hot, hot.

Other than that, one thing I really want to say here: Forget about who tops and bottoms. That is literally the least important decision to make. It doesn’t even cross my mind when I start writing a story. It also doesn’t have anything to do with who’s the taller or stronger one, or who’s the dominant one, or more experienced. That’s all bullshit.

Apart from that, your kinks are valid. Write the fucking hell out of them, seriously.

Everything. Everything about this is the best. I’m so tempted to say, “Introducing Behind the Screen with parttimehuman!” without the wrap of questions because of how helpful your advice is lol. I suppose, one final random question before we close up: If you were in a Breakfast Club detention situation with five characters from Teen Wolf, who would give you the wildest, most satisfying day. Who would be your teacher? And what’s one thing the six of you would end up doing?

I feel like Liam and Theo would be there, probably because they started punching each other in the middle of class. Stiles seems like the most likely one to have annoyed a teacher into giving him detention. Malia is there for skipping maths too many times. And Isaac. Nobody knows how exactly he ended up there, but everyone’s pretty appreciative of his sarcastic comments. We’d pass the time discussing conspiracy theories about what the hell is wrong with Beacon Hills. Coach Bobby Finstock would let us go early, because remember, Stiles is canonically like a son to him. And Daddy Finstock just can’t say no to his chaotic favorite boy.

Hahaha, Daddy Finstock. Finally, what’s next for you? In life or fandom or both?

In life? If only I knew. I might leave my home town (again) and go to uni (again), but I generally enjoy having no plan.

In fandom? A fucking lot. The Big Bang is getting closer and I am thrilled. I’m working on a whole list of other things, as always. Then there’s a special project that is for now a secret, a couple of awesome people will celebrate their birthdays soon, and Christmas presents are in the works. The Snow White AU will finally break some hearts soon. In case anybody reading this is still waiting for something, I swear that if I made you a promise, then I have it on a sticky note somewhere. Don’t give up on me! Prompts are always welcome (just don’t make me write angst).

And anything else you’d like to share?

If there’s anything I’d like to share, then it’s encouragement. From one introverted fandom lunatic to all the others out there. Never feel weird for loving something. Never feel ashamed of being passionate about what you love. Never let anybody stop you from obsessing over a character, or a ship, or a show, or whatever thing. Write that fic you think nobody will want to read. Draw the thing that’s been in your head forever. Share your love. There are more people out there waiting for exactly that thing to exist than you think. Write that comment, share your obsessions, never feel afraid to reach out. As for the Thiam fandom, some of the kindest people you will ever meet are in there.

And now, we had the opportunity to learn more about her creative process and her life well…behind the screens. Let’s get it started!

Marie! Why not start us off with a simple introduction. Who is fandomtrashwhore? Or the artist behind her? The twist: the word count should be equal or less than the # of letters of the characters in your favorite TW rarepair ship.

My name is Marie, I’m 19 years old and from Germany. My life is dedicated to my fandoms but besides that I’m an apprentice as an technical product designer.

Ha, I see whatcha did there with ‘Mieczyslaw.’ Smart, very smart! A Technical Product Designer! What does that entail? Do you like it so far?

I don’t know if there’s a perfect translation for it and I’m bad at explaining (that’s why I’m not a writer and my answers in this interview are gonna be shit :’D). I like the 3D drawing part most and till now I’m quite good at it and even ‘job school’ is pretty good. I feel like Hermione cause I always know the answer and my grades are on point af (which definitely wasn’t like that in my previous schools. I never said anything in class).

Pst, who said you have to be a good writer to have a good time? Just do you haha. That’s what we’re all here for any. That’s super interesting though. What’s another thing our fandom would be surprised to know about you?

Like I knew they were there and I liked them but I was too focussed on other characters + I didn’t know they wanted to end Teen Wolf then and felt like they wanted to shove the main pack away to replace it with Liam and his gang. (Now I’m all over the puppy pack ).

AND I watched the whole show till 5B or season 6 (not so sure) in one go and that’s why it felt like Theo and Liam both joined around the same time. (Even if there was one whole season between them…wtf.) I remember that I sometimes couldn’t even tell who was Liam and who was Theo cause I thought that they ‘looked alike’…BITCH WHERE? This is more than embarrassing, but every time I watch a show in one go I have trouble learning the names (when the name is said in the show I usually know who they mean but if I talk about it to someone I sometimes can’t remember the names cause I watched 3 seasons within a week…. :’D ). I definitely need to rewatch and appreciate them more this time cause they’re such amazing characters.

*Actually Cackling* Were there any other characters you were hazy on? Like, would Garrett be the “angry, tiny blonde one” to you?

No it’s embarrassing af. :’D And I know who Garrett is and what he did and he was indeed an angry tiny blonde kid, but I don’t remember details. Sadly (I mean I think he only was there for a few episodes so I don’t think there was much detail so I’m good as long as I know his storyline). :’D

Truth. When I started watching Supernatural, until (at least) midseason 2, I called both Sam and Dean, DeanSam cause they were always together when someone addressed them. So, you’re not alone, eek. Now, THAT’S embarrassing.

So, how did you go from ‘kid, what’s your name?!’ to Thiam instagram aesthetics and our fandom? What drew you in?

I think I jumped on the train quite late (cause as I said I didn’t really mind them), but I think I shipped them before but just realized it last season. So, I think I first felt something for them during their fight in the hospital because I was ‘fun-shipping’ them (not really fun but I wasn’t deep into it cause I didn’t bother checking their ship name or anything but I was like ‘lol. They’re gay for each other) during 6B and then I completely lost it in episode 6 of that season and realized that it is a real thing and it’s love.

From that moment I was a mess and died the last few episodes cause I thought they either make it canon or kill Theo off (and maybe make it canon) but neither happened so….ok. :’D I’m sad that I only had like two weeks left with them but since then it’s been a wild ride and they brought me new internet friends ( a whole pack) and made me tumblr fame … it’s crazy how inspiring they are for edits. I just can’t stop. :’D

BUT how I found my way into the Teen Wolf fandom is a bit funnier I think…(at least for me) :’D

This has now become the moment where I ask, “Marie, can you tell us how you got into the Teen Wolf fandom? Lol”

Idk if it’s funny if you don’t know my friends and me personally. But I always had this little group to talk about series with. Mostly The Walking Dead and Game Of Thrones but sometimes other series. A friend of mine, Lucas, once mentioned that there’s a series called ‘teen wolf or something like that’ and that he knows that one character looks like one of our classmates (his name is Tobi). He was talking about Derek and even showed me a pic AND HE REALLY FUCKING LOOKS LIKE HIM (I mean in close up you know it’s not him but you know…).

He already had a beard really really soon (he looked like 20 when he was 15 or something because of it) BUT NOW he looks even more like Derek cause I met him again, like a year ago, in a club and he lost weight and is working out now and….he’s really a Derek look alike (I wish I could show you but privacy…).

After laughing about that I never heard about that series again till I watched the trailer on youtube, and I have no idea why, but it was around new years eve 2015 to 2016 cause I thought about starting it and told a friend of mine on new years eve and showed her the trailer and she also thought it was cool and we started it about a week after that and binge watched the shit out of it.

BUT I ALWAYS HAD THAT PICTURE OF MY CLASSMATE IN MIND WHEN I SAW DEREK. And I still call Derek Tobi when I talk to my best friend who doesn’t watch teen wolf about teen wolf and want to explain something to her.

Lol are you kidding me?! That’s hilarious! And, I’ll raise you. I have a friend Michael who is a spitting image of Scott–skin tone, jaw, hair and all. I wonder if your Tobi/Derek and my Michael/Scott met, would they have a Scott-Derek-esque relationship haha! Since we’ve veered towards Friends, let’s say you, 4 characters from TW, and 1 of you personal friend were living in a Friends-type sitcom. Who’d you bring into your inner circle and which antics would yall get up to?

Ok! This is exciting! So it would be Stiles, Theo, Mason, Liam and my best friend Michelle (she doesn’t watch teen wolf but the hell do I care). We would just be such a funny sassy pack. Do you know that ‘meme’: ‘My friendship comes in 3 levels: Sass, insults, inappropriate sexual humor’? That would be so us. Michelle and me are basically Stiles and that meme describes our friendship so well; we’re really soulmates so I want the whole pack to become that close too.. Theo is a sassy ass anyways and Mason is also on fire.

Liam would suffer under our jokes and always be the one who makes bad jokes only he laughs about and the rest just laughs about him, but we still love him. Michelle and me would ship the hell out of Theo and Liam (and Mason and Corey are goals af). Mason would be sceptical at first but together with Corey–I can’t have Mason without Corey…sorry?–we get him to join us.

Sometimes, Liam and Theo even go with it and flirt for fun just to piss Stiles off who somehow ended up stuck with us after Scott left for college and Stiles decided to quit the FBI and now works as a police officer at the station. Of course, Thiam gets real and no one really notice it at first cause we think it’s just another prank on Stiles until we catch them making out in my kitchen during a pack meeting. There are also a few other pranks since we’re the sassy pack. Stiles mostly uses his position as a police officer, like towing our cars or getting us a ticket. Theo’s pranks are a bit shocking at the beginning since he needs to learn how to be a decent human being. Liam and my pranks fail most of the time. Michelle and Mason are the prank master team; they always come up with the craziest ideas.

Yassss of course, Corey would be there. There’s always a significant other who’s there so often, they become part of the group lol. That sounds like my kind of party, all the chaos and sassy destruction. All the creativity, it’s the perfect segway to our next topic of the day: fandomtrashwhore, aka your creativity.

If your creativity was a person, what type would they be? What would they do? Wear? Listen to? Handle conflict?

I think it would just be a furious working single mother? Cause during the week I’m working and even if I have nothing to do after work I only seem to be able to edit at weekends and then I sacrifice my whole weekend to it like it’s my child. And furious cause once I have an idea in my head, I drown myself in pic finding which can be so exhausting and I bet I look like a stressed single mom during that cause I’m having so many tabs open and so many search phrases to throw at google in my head at the same time.

I also have specific pics in my head and I could cry if I don’t find a perfect pic to fit that image in my head. I mostly listen to the Airplanes playlist I made while editing but I also love artists like Ed Sheeran and Halsey so that would also fit quite well to keep that person calm and grounded. I also think my creative process is quite vulnerable and moody cause sometimes I can’t wait to edit and other times I feel like I never want to edit again and I need to force myself to (during editing I love it again tho). And vulnerable cause like I said I hate when I can’t find a decent pic and could cry. Same goes for if the app crashes during a long edit or if something won’t go how I want it and my patience dies.

Does that single mother furiously create outside of the Thiam fandom too?

Yes, I do social media au’s for all my fandoms (at least I want to, till now I only have a few.) I’m not a writer but I have a started Sherlock fanfic with a trailer (I like the trailer tho and some one shots to several fandoms on wattpad. I’m ashamed of them cause I’m a bad writer but I can’t stop trying :’D So here’s my Wattpad. Don’t expect too much!!

I mentioned the trailer for my Sherlock before and right now I’m also working on a trailer ( more like ‘short movie’) for and OC (who ended up to be Marie Avgeropoulos) x Negan from The Walking Dead.Till now it’s 13 minutes long and I love the shit out of it. I never drew for a fandom before (german youtube back in the days, I had instagram fanpages. I still have them but I don’t edit for them anymore cause series took over my life. If you know german youtube and are interested contact me but they’re not that important for most of the people reading this, I think. ANYWAYS, what I wanted to say is that I want to draw something Thiam or rather Airplanes themed soon.

Oh AND I and my best friend (Michelle from before) used to write our fanfics (mostly about german youtubers) over whatsapp back in the days. It was legendary but also very unrealistic and hilarious. Sadly, we lost most of them when we got new phones which breaks my heart.

Dang, that’s tragic. Thankfully, you still have the memories. From trailers to Whatsapp/Wattpad fics, they’ve all led you to this moment: Instagram aesthetics. How’re you inspired when choosing a theme?

Most of the time I find a pic that inspires me to an edit theme. E.g., I saw the 3rd pic of The Buck’s party pic on Liam’s profile for the engagement & wedding edit coincidentally on tumblr or something and was like: “Yes, that could be Liam carried by Stiles and the boy on the right is Scott and the girl is Lydia and the pic was taken by Mason….why would something like this situation happen….A BUCK’S PARTY! I NEED TO DO A ENGAGEMENT AND WEDDING AU. Then, the other pictures and ideas just find their way.

I also accept requests (like the new year eve one) or I’m inspired by a post (like for example when I did the Thiam Mykonos one.

And when you search for photos, what’s your process for choosing the best ones?

Most of the time, the story of my au’s is formed by the pics I find. Like I have an idea and look for pics and then I see which pics make a logic story. Most of the time, I don’t know myself how I find so good pics and I bet I could never find them again (I tried once after I lost some), cause I found them so deep in the internet. Mostly, I google pretty weird sentences and I wonder what the NSA is thinking of me. :’D For example, I googled “Throwing Tampons” for an Airplanes related edit once. I bet whoever observes me thinks I’m a killer when I look for aesthetics (especially when I did the The Walking Dead aesthetics) and googled for bloody pics. I nearly threw up a few times tho while doing so.

Finding pics is a harder job than you might think; I would say it takes more time than the editing itself, but I can’t say for sure cause once I start editing I’m lost in some sort of tunnel and suddenly it’s dark outside. When I want to google for ‘natural’ pics, I mostly add ‘snapchat’ or ‘instagram’ behind it (e.g. ‘couple eating take out food snapchat’). Also, you can find good pics on pinterest (my Pinterest name is ‘Marie Rosa’ btw), especially aesthetical and gay couple pics!

Deciding is even harder cause I often have 50 pics in my folder and can only use 12. Then, I check which one I definitely want to have in the edit and which I liked best and are the most decent ones to the images I had in mind.

When there are people on it, it’s also important that they look like the characters they should portrait. After that, I still have 20 pics left and cry because I love them all. Then I make two new folders to decide which ones are for Liam’s and which ones are for Theo’s profile and then I delete some more pics with a hurting heart (or I save them for other edits some day) and look which pics fit best together (when I edit aesthetics, similar color is a big topic). The biggest mess is when I get more ideas during editing or realize that one pic I thought I liked doesn’t fit at all and stop to look for more pics and the whole order I had is thrown away again and I need to start again. :’D

My goodness, I remember seeing you and Sammy (@glitter-cake20) talk about finding pics before on Discord, but that is…really involved. Are there times when you create your own images instead? If so, which edits/manips have been your favorite?

I would say the Hunger Games one was my best manip, but I also like the one in the Thiam parent AU where I replaced Cody’s cat with a baby two times. And, nearly all manips I did for my Airplanes series, especially Disney Kiss (I just edited Dylan on Cody’s ex-girlfriend…lol…no regrets), the bowling pic, all the pack video calls in which I added some more heads and the ones of Derek and Stiles in NYC. I also love the one of Mason and Liam carrying watermelons in the Dirty Dancing AU and the whole Daredevil Thiam (+Morey) AU is also one of my favorites cause it’s so aesthetical. I mean in the end I nearly love them all cause I wouldn’t have posted them if not.

You’ve mentioned CaptainMintyFresh’s Airplanes a few times. What inspired the idea to make instagram posts for the guys’ journey? So far, which has been your favorite chapter to conceptualize? And why?

I don’t really know how it started but I was editing my other ones and Tagan kept mentioning certain pic scenarios. (I think it was around the waterpark chapter.) I was just like: ”She’s giving so many good patterns why don’t you try to make Insta profiles to the chapters.” It was one of my best decisions cause I loved it, even if it was a pain in the ass! I finally managed to catch up and since then I feel so empty…sounds strange but my past few months were spend with Thiam and Airplanes and suddenly, I’m free. I was looking forward to editing other things again and I did but on the other side, I feel lost and don’t even know what to edit or I’m not in the mood. I have an Airplanes hangover or something. :’D

My favorite to conceptualize were probably the Disney chapters (it used to be the lake chapter but since editing Disney, I like that more) but every chapter was fun in it’s own way. (I’m planning on doing a commenting on the airplanes edits after Airplanes is finished).

I also think you can see how my skills improved while editing when you look at the first chapter edits and the last ones. That’s maybe the thing I’m most grateful about; it gave me the chance to experiment and grow along with the Fic and the characters.

Aww, that’s quite poetic. And, now we have Chapter 39 out, so you must feel the inkliest bit complete!

And, now I can feel the inkiest bit better about the next question to come.

I mean I would say the airplane series but it’s not my story so I’m gonna go with one of my single edits.

Then I would say the Parent AU cause I’m a bitch for parent Thiam. I’m gonna go with the pic of the crying baby with the title ‘Great. My son has my husband’s attitude’.

Liam sends Theo to the store with Leo after a discussion so he has some peace and can clean the house without interruptions. Leo won’t stop crying on top of his lungs in the middle of the store and Theo sighs while resting his forehead on the shopping cart (I hope that’s what it’s called).Then, he looks up again and gets his phone out to snap a picture and post it to show everyone that not only Liam is a whining little shit torturing him but now also his son. He laughs at himself for the joke which makes Leo stop crying and laugh with him instead. Theo takes that as an encouragement for his joke and carries him on his arm for the rest of the shopping trip, When they return home, he’s greeted by Liam who’s trying to look pissed but fails and just smirks at him and giving him a slight slap on the arm.

Hahahaha, yes! Dig it. And yes, it’s totally called a shopping cart (at least in my state). One final challenge before we wrap up? Since your images are always so unique to the theme, which pictures/ types of pictures would you use for these one word/phrase prompts:

While we all marvel at that, can we expect any other Thiam instagram themes from you in the future?

Of course. I have an Thiam folder with 357 a folder for the upcoming Mockingjay AU with 37 and my airplanes folder with still 194 pics. Somehow and someday I’m gonna use them all. Planned is to finish the Hunger Games series, cause I still need to do Mockingjay and I also have so many good parenting pics left so there’s definitely going to be another parent Thiam AU and some random ones.

It depends on my mood and requests I get or if I’m suddenly inspired by a pic to edit a specific theme. I also want to make more of Thiam x other fandoms, like Maze Runner, Divergent and so on but I also want to edit for so many other fandoms and ships. Why is there so less time in my mortal life?

Who knows? If only time stopped during the Fandom spurts of our lives, then we could enjoy it as long as we wanted to. Aww, I’m sad to see us come to an end. Marie, what’s next for you?

Finish my apprenticeship in 2020 and have a job after that + moving out. The next thing I’m saving money on right now is my own car till august (I also want my first own TV and playstation and need a new laptop any maybe smartphone :’D). Other fix dates this year are german comic con in december or turning 20 on 27th June.

Of course, I’m gonna drown myself in more fandoms and editing (I mean I’ve already watched 7 new series in 2018).

Oooh, which new shows? (I know I said we were ending lol, but shows are my drug!)

I finally got myself netflix since streaming became officially illegal (it wasn’t actually legal or illegal before but they couldn’t do anything to you and it was safe) here last year and I used it to watch all the marvel netflix productions like Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Daredevil, The Defenders, Luke Cage (which I haven’t finished cause Netflix won’t let me, every 30 seconds it crashes) and The Punisher. Jessica Jones and Daredevil are my favorites out of them. Then, I also watched How To Get Away With Murder….IT’S MY FUCKING NEW RELIGION! Coliver is giving me more than life. They’re goals.

Hiya! I’m popping out of my writing cave to share with you the greatness of another artist, Glitter-cake20, also known as Sammy. You’ve probably seen her awe-inspiring manips, gifs, incorrect quotes, and stories floating around your dashboard. In our talk, she shares her #1 guilty pleasure ship, creates her optimal Teen Wolf Puppy Pack spin-off, and lets us in her creative process.

Sammy! Why don’t we start off simple? Tell us about yourself. The catch: the word count is either to or less than the number of letters in your two favorite Teen Wolf episode names. (ex. Raving + Galvanize = 19)

Memory Found + Smoke and Mirrors = 25

I’m really lazy. I like reading. I’m great at killing zombies on Xbox. I have blood in my coffee stream. I have resting bitch face.

Ooh, what makes these two your favorite?

Memory Found because i feel like that is really where Theo learned to be selfless. He fought with Liam knowing he could get killed or taken, and then later he literally sacrificed himself for a pack that wanted him dead.

Smoke and Mirrors - the entire Mexico trip was great but the part that really stood out in Smoke and Mirrors was when Berserker Scott had Liam pinned to the wall and Liam said “Scott listen! You’re not a monster, you’re a werewolf like me” which parallels to earlier in Season 4 when Scott had said that same thing to Liam. It was just beautiful because it showed how Liam had accepted himself as a werewolf. Also, Derek evolving was just wow!

And how did you come to the Thiam fandom? What about them drew you in?

You know, I had just created a twitter account and I was just following few accounts for Teen Wolf, kind of just bopping along with all the other popular ships, and then someone made a post about “OMG what was THAT” and I opened the video and it was Theo and Liam making glorious eye contact, and I was never the same again.

What drew me in the most was that Theo was so vulnerable when Liam brought him back. He was once such a badass and now he was suddenly latched on to Liam - just made my heart melt. And Liam is my boy, but he made me so angry when he was mean to Theo! Like no boo, that’s not how Scott raised you!

Lately, there’s been exclamations from our pack about Thiam bleeding into their real lives (like, seeing their relationship in every movie/song or experiencing story plots in real life, etc.), have you felt this sensation recently? If so, in what ways?

Yes! I was sitting at a coffee shop writing the other day, and this adorable couple walked in. My brain immediately went “That’s Theo and that’s Liam” And I’m like, what is actually wrong with me? And literally every epic movie quote is now about Thiam, I’ve actually done a bunch of edits about that, which I will share for the Thiam Movie Fest.

Omg! That totally happens to me all the time, everywhere!! Since you see Thiam in anything, would you say they’re your #1 guilty pleasure ship? If not, what are your guilty pleasure ships, couples where you don’t care who knew or who disagreed, you ship them regardless?

Oh gosh I’ve had many. Stalia was one. I really liked the dynamic, in the same breath I was also pining for Stydia. I loved Jethan when that teaser came out. Briam, although I don’t think anyone would disagree. Brett and Mason! And even when Scott and Allison broke up I was like, no but Scallison. I literally ship anything.

If you could build the ultimate paintball/laser tag team from any five characters on Teen Wolf, who’d be on your team and why? Twist: now, choose one Teen Wolf villain who’d be your secret weapon, provided they don’t double-cross you first, mwhahaha.

Mmm okay…(this actually makes me excited!) So for paintball, first of all I’d choose Corey for his ability to disappear and strike from a position unknown to our opponents. Then I would pick Theo, he’s proven to be quite strategic and cunning in mapping out a plan! Peter, because he just no objection to kicking ass, any time any place. Kira, because she can divert the paintballs with her sword (and yes in my mind they would allow her to take the sword onto the field, shh). Braeden, because she’s just a total badass and I just love her. And for my secret weapon I would choose Jackson so he can paralyze the opposing team with his Kanima venom!! Ha!

Jackson would be a total knockout secret weapon. The game would be over in seconds lol! Let’s jump into your works. Like @da-smiley99, our artist last week, you also create a little bit of it all: drabbles, gifs, manips, and incorrect quotes. For you, which would you say is your favorite art form? How do you balance creating them all?

I really love doing the incorrect quotes, they are fun and I enjoy looking for gifs to match!

Whatever inspiration hits first is what I will do, most of the time its manips/aesthetics that I do for other writer’s work. I love appreciating and promoting what people have created because I know the effort that goes into it. There are still so many works I would like to do an edit for!

If your creative process for these pieces was a person, describe him or her to us. What do they do? Wear? Listen to? How do they handle conflict?

She’s running around in a pink fur coat, stilettos, champagne in hand, chocolates stuffed in her cheek yelling “OH MY GOD!” at everything. I imagine her in a clothing store, the clothes being ideas, and she’s just grabbing everything pilling it onto her arm in a heap, eventually losing her balance and falling over. So when the shop assistant (my family) is like “Mam, you need to calm the hell down” she just runs to the next store, her champagne spilling as she wobbles down the sidewalk in the way-too-high stilettos. She probably listens to Taylor Swift in her pink drop top.

And what’s hers (and your) writing Kryptonite? How do you two battle it?

With regards to writing -I come up with the most amazing and original idea for a story and I manage to write one mind blowing paragraph and then I’m stuck. That’s why I take so long to create a story, it just takes me forever to get inspired again. I have a few WIP’s and I don’t know what to do with them!

Creating comes pretty easy and I haven’t had many hiccups while editing. I just suck at making video edits and I honestly wish I was better at it because I have so many ideas! I usually fight writer's block with generous amounts of wine.

If you did become that video-making mastermind, which one of those ideas would you explore first?

I always wanted to do an AU vid of Thiam just living life you know. Id also like to do a “trailer” for these amazing fics that’s been written, kind of like what was done for Airplanes!

I sense a perfect opportunity to practice your videographer skills, mentally, of course! Say you were the Jeff Davis of the Puppy Pack Teen Wolf Spin-Off. Describe your very first and last scene of the pilot episode? How would you put your personal touches on those two scenes?

Personal Touches: A-class lighting because we suffered enough with the ever loving darkness of Teen Wolf. I’d like to see the characters develop more of a personal style, Liam would probably wear more ‘jock’ outfits as he plays varsity lacrosse now. I’d love to put Theo in shorts for a change, maybe an early morning kitchen scene where he is wearing boxer shorts…okay I’m getting distracted.

Eeek! Okay so, the Opening scene would be Theo, Liam and Alec running from hunters, Theo has Liam by the arm, he pushes Liam and Alec into his truck and ducks in behind them. They speed off. Then he starts yelling at Liam “Are you crazy, Li?! I’m getting real tired of saving you!” (que fandom freaking because he is calling him “Li” now) and then at Alec “And you! What the hell did we tell you about sneaking out with Liam!?” Liam and Alec are just out of breath trying not to laugh at Theo. Theo calls Mason to confirm that they are fine.

Closing scene: Liam flops down on the couch in the McCall house, next to Theo (because that’s where he is staying now) “So, uh, thanks for coming to get us today”. “You’re an idiot” but Theo smiles. “How did you find me anyway?” Liam is twiddling his thumbs, “Tracked your scent” Theo gets up abruptly and leaves. Yup it’s going to be a slow burn!

Oooh, and which TW characters would you bring back as cameos or minor characters?

Frikken Danny! I feel like the guy deserved better. So definitely Danny. I’d make him the supernatural privy teacher at the high school. Brett would also come back -as a ghost haunting Liam, especially when Li gets angry then Brett would just be in the corner jabbing insults at him and the pack would look at him like he’s crazy when he yells at the wall to shut up. Scott would make regular appearances. Deaton, Argent and Melissa would be regulars, and I think a guest appearance by Jackson because for some reason they are going to need a vile of his Kanima venom. Kira’s going to come looking for her sword at one point. And Isaac shows up with Scott a few times.

I agree with you about Danny; we needed more of him! We should petition to get you in the writer’s room because I need your ideas to happen!!

How about gifs/manips specifically? Where does your inspiration for those stem from?

I would think of a scene that I really would have loved to happen and then I try to match it as best I can using existing material. Sometimes i would just be scrolling through gifs and I’d be like “oh wait! This with this is perfect!”

Ooh, up for a quick demonstration? Let’s pick one of your favorite fanfiction scenes lately. Which images/thought processes would stick out to you? Any specific gifs come to mind?

So let’s take Airplanes 28 for example. The scene where Liam is weighing up all his options about how to deal with his feelings and Theo asks what his problem is. I would use the scene from S6 in the locker room where Liam is punching the locker, it had a few different shots of Liam being frustrated. For Theo’s part I’d use the scene form 6x16 where he actually says ‘what is wrong with you”. Then I just use the app to edit and merge them and voila.

That’s pretty neat. I didn’t even know you could use apps to mash gifs together! If someone wanted to get started with creating manips/gifs, what advice/steps would you give them?

If you’re doing it from your phone, like me, you have to firstly find the right gif app preferably one that does video to gif and vice versa. There are a few that work really well, so hit me up if you want more detail! I’m also still learning so if anyone has any suggestions let me know.

We’ve chatted about your art for Thiam. Do you also create outside of the Thiam fandom? Original Fiction/Artwork? Other Fandoms?

I used to write and draw when I was younger, the Thiam fandom actually got me back into all of that! I don’t have any of my earlier writing works anymore but I still have drawings.

Aww, can you remember what you liked to write back then?

It was all fictional stories, mostly horrors! I loved writing scary stories, short or long and I would sometimes freak myself out a bit, especially late at night. I remember the one was about a guy whose car ‘broke down’ on a deserted road and he went looking for help at an old farmhouse and couldn't figure out why the people were so weird towards him, so after a few days he left, walking back down the road and he came across his car completely wrecked, his dead body hanging halfway out the door...he was a ghost haha.

Looking ahead, what’s one piece you’re working on that you’re dying for the pack to see?

Yes! This is a snipped of the AU I’m doing for the Movie fest:

-“That’s him,” Corey said nodding in Theo’s direction “that’s the Judo champ”,

By the time Liam realised he had been staring it was too late, Theo’s head was tilted to the side, an amused grin spread across his face as he looked down slowly at this abdomen and then back up at Liam. There was no reason for Liam to deny that Theo Raeken was gorgeous, that he looked like a demigod in the golden light of the street lamps, but this was not the time for these kinds of thoughts. ‘Get it together Liam’, he shook his head as if to rid his mind of Judo Boy.-

I will also attempt some manips for this piece!

Ooh, intriguing. How dare you stop there! I guess we’ll just have to wait until next week, smh. One final anecdote before we wrap up?

Characters often find themselves in situations they aren’t sure they can get themselves out of. When was the last time you found yourself in situation like that and what did you do?

The PA of our department at work tried to sell me sex toys from this ridiculously expensive catalogue and tried to make me have a sex toy party for my birthday because she would get a free gift and commission for it. First I said, but my friends and family ain’t about that life, and she’s like “No I’ll just invite all my friends it's fine” (to my birthday?? Okay bih). So then I said I’ll think about it hoping she’d forget. She didn’t. Eventually I told her that I’m not doing anything for my birthday but thanks.

Oh no, she didn’t! It was your birthday smh. You’re stronger than me! Not only would she convince me to throw the party, I’d have bought at least two things from that freaking catalogue haha! Well, we’re coming to an end, but first, what’s next for you? Both in life and in the creation world?

Career wise I’d like to do a few courses, and really start going into the direction of what I really love, which is anything creative, instead of just doing a 9-5 to pay bills, you know? So I’m going to look for a way to bring these two worlds together so that I can always do what I love. Fandom wise, I really want to do more writing, explore different characters and ships!

I hardly get to writing my own ideas so I’m reluctant to say that I'll take prompts for fics and frankly I take so long to write that it will be disappointing, however, if someone has a scenario/idea for an incorrect quote, manip or aesthetic requests, I’m all for it! I would love to do it! Other than that i just want to thank this entire fandom, you guys are keeping this ship sailing and its beautiful! Keep doing what you’re doing!
