thinking about the juxtaposition of the garvey girls. eva, who raised her sisters like a mother, can’t have children of her own. ursula, the nurse- a career dedicated to helping and healing-, has an affair that could ruin her family and supplies poison to her sisters. becka, the baby of the family whose innocence they all want to protect, ends up accidentally killing an innocent woman. bibi, arguably the most aggressive and vengeful of them all, views herself and her parenting poorly and shows severe guilt and remorse when she accidentally shoots a man’s eye out. and grace. grace, the pr!ck’s defender and apologist who views him through rose-colored glasses and is frequently depicted as weak, immediately calls him out on his sins and calls him a monster and ends up killing him in a physically and emotionally challenging act.

The AU contains stuff from the books, fan games, games, and some stuff from the movie

The Entertainment and Innovation Era

1964-1973

In this AU William and Ms Sanderson meet at the airport bar after missing their flight in london

Meanwhile in America Henry Emily Schmidt was interning under a man named Alex Write.

Unfortunately the first of many fazbear related accidents happened when Alex writes son, John Write was shoved into the mouth of Ned Bear causing him to fall into a coma. It was dubbed the bite of 64

Cake bears was shut down soon after

Suddenly a worse Person arrived in Hurricane, William Afton and his girlfriend Rosemary Sanderson.

A year passed in which both Henry and William married their respective spouses

Until finally William met Henry when Henry knocked on his door trying to sell some pieces of animatronics

And of course William started joking with the salesman and formed a friendship that'll eventually sour

William had just had his first child Michael Terrence Afton

Henry convinced William to help him start a new restaurant dubbed Chicas Patry World which featured a repoursed puppet animatronic and chicken animatronic from Cake Bears

At this time Henry started teaching William the basics of robotics

The first creature made was a rudimentary humanoid that mostly just copied anything it saw

William embarrassed at his first attempt locked it in the basement and kept it powered off

Which only slightly caused discomfort for Rosemary

The next attempt was a lot better

But unfortunately chicas party world is going down the drain

So William suggested they rip off winnie the pooh and make a bear themed restaurant

So they took the large animatronic and put a bear costume, when William thought of the springlock suit (at 3:40AM but henry didn't mind)

They spit balled some animals before they agreed on a bunny to test the suit idea on

It went great

And William creatively dubbed it Spring Bonnie

Then they made one for Fredbear

At this time Henry and his wife Darla had Twins Samuel Emily Schmidt JR and Charlie Emily Schmidt

William and Henry realized "oh we need a manager". William luckily found one as Mikes Ex girlfriend Dee was crying about her brother losing his job

So William approached Jack at JRs and offered him a job

They also they managed to score a good business deal getting an amateur TV show

And the rise of Fredbears had begun

But were they ready for the fall

Unsurprisingly, being in battle has not changed since Nate was a soldier. 

Adrenaline floods his system, sharpening his vision, cutting through the doubt and indecision. The only things he can do are move and fire, cranking the handle of the strange gun every change he gets. 

“DOWN!” Cassanrda shouts, and Nate drops behind the little cover he’s got. Cass leans over and sticks him in the arm with a stimpack and depresses the plunger in one smooth motion; then without a word she’s back up and shooting. Her shotgun bucks as she takes down raider after raider, not even flinching as blood splatters against her face. 

There’s a synergy to it. Not just him and Cass, but rather the battle as a whole, a call-and-response that he knows intimately. A raider fires and he moves, he fires and they duck, again and again until somebody lands a hit. Someone comes in swinging and Cass slams her gun into their face, cartilage cracking as their nose becomes concave. 

The past and present overlap like film reels played simultaneously. Nate is in the Museum of Freedom, holding Nora’s hand as they pass through the exhibits. Nate is on the ground in Anchorage, battle raging around him as his commanding officer shouts increasingly desperate orders. Nate is scrambling for ammunition while Cass lays down cover, bullets shattering the hardwood floor beneath them. The images converge and reflect in his minds eye; Chinese soldiers where raiders should be, his wife’s laughter echoing in the sound of gunfire. 

“Oh, shit ,” Cass says, and the world rattles back into focus.
