In its most aggressive attack against offshore wind yet, the Trump administration halted the $5 billion Empire Wind 1, already under construction off New York’s coast.

Norwegian developer Equinor announced yesterday that it received notice from the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) ordering Empire Wind 1 to halt all activities on the outer continental shelf until BOEM has completed its review. Interior Secretary Doug Burgum posted this tweet yesterday:

HHHHAPPY ISATVERSARY EVERYONE. here’s redraws for every single battle cg in the game. 36 drawings this time around, with 11 of those being custom (though admittedly a good portion of those are edits). combined with the portrait redraws i made back in september, i’ve made 114 redraws for this project! jesus christ! just like those redraws, these are completely free to use!! as long as i’m credited and it’s not for commercial purposes, go wild!! do whatever you want!!!

no i didn’t make these for isat’s 1 year anniversary this is just wildly good timing.

i genuinely can’t fit all of these cgs in one post even with the 30 image limit on browser, but i’ll still try to fit Most of them below the cut (without making this post horrifically long), along with some notes that might be important 👍

okay! once again, i labeled all of the custom art as such in the drive(UPDATE. NNOT TRUE ANYMORE. reformatted file names to be easier to mod in auau. apologies!), but if you want a full list, the customs are hatless siffrin jackpot, bonnie jackpot, bonnie special attack, bigfrin attack, and a bunch of alts which are definitely not related to any projects i’ve been thinking about don’t worry about it. and out of those customs, only like. 3 of them are actually completely from scratch.

while i did my absolute best to keep the aspect ratios completely the same as the originals, there’s 3 exceptions that i just couldn’t get to work.

isabeau’s hair in his special attack cg wouldn’t fit in frame if i kept things completely accurate to the og, so i moved his cg down a bit. it shouldn’t cause any issues with modding or anything, it’ll just appear slightly lower than it does in game. alas…

isabeau’s sleeve and mirabelle’s hair made their jackpot sprites a little larger than the originals? i’m hoping this doesn’t have too much of an effect (since the jackpot sprites have inconsistent sizes) but i can’t test this myself unfortunately. aaa feel free to let me know on discord if any problems arise!!

i managed to fix these, so they aren’t going to cause problems now, but my original drawings for mirabelle and siffrin in the final attack scene were a pain in the ass to fix. mirabelle’s sprite was slightly too talk to fit in frame and siffrin’s hat whacked bonnie in the face while i was editing everyone together. i’m only mentioning this because it took like an hour and a half to fix them and finish the scene.

all that aside, these were a fucking BLAST to work on. apparently this ended up taking 57 hours over exactly 10 days. which is a little worrying if you do the math on that but somehow i have not burnt myself out. i will be doing enemies at some point!!! but probably not for a little bit. i think my friends will actually kill me if i don’t take a break.

once again, happy birthday isat. you’ve ruined my life and i wouldn’t have it any other way (silly).

also, on an actual serious note, this little timeloop game has genuinely changed my life for the better? you guys are probably sick of hearing it at this point (or maybe not, i don’t talk about myself That Much. i hope), but i was practically a ghost for about 2 years before joining this fandom. it’s a little surreal to suddenly have friends (plural!!!) and people who Care about me, or even know i exist, honestly. it’s weird!! in a good way!!!

i don’t think i would’ve ever come back to social media if this community wasn’t so welcoming. i’ve met a lot of really great people through this game!!! so, uh, thank you isat, i guess. here’s to another year.

My running theory for why it’s taking so long to get updates on the next tgcf donghua seasons is that they’re desperately trying to figure out how to adapt the fetus spirit and Black Water arcs in a not-gay way but it’s not working bc Hualian’s go-to strategy for solving their problems is just by making out repeatedly for two books straight

you ever just have a lot, a LOT of feelings all at once about a character and not even remotely enough words or brainpower to FORM the words to describe everything you're feeling. so it feels like you may explode. yeah

wild goes through every sleeping position under the sun before finally passing out but he never falls asleep on his right side. he'll lay like that for a moment, but he gets bothered by the fact he can't hear his surroundings nearly as well with only his left ear out. usually ends up just sprawled out

four sleeps like a plank of wood. arms and legs straight, he's flat on his back. he might curl up for a bit before falling asleep, but ultimately cant sleep as well unless he's "planked"

sky can and will fall asleep in any position. on any surface. in SS he can fall asleep sitting on a toilet. he does not care. and despite what he says, he does in fact snore worse than any of them

twilight and wind both curl up to sleep, wind a bit looser than twi. wind shifts a lot in his sleep, rolling over or turning while still curled up. his bedhead is a nightmare. twi only moves if he's dreaming, and if he falls asleep in wolf form, his legs kick. wild witnessed this countless times during BoTW and never lets twilight forget it

time is shockingly one of the more normal sleepers. an occasional snorer but it's nothing too bad unless he falls asleep sitting up. he's had many years sleeping alongside malon for his body to get used to just plain old sleeping. he always manages to fall asleep at a slight diagonal to his bedroll. and his hands are ALWAYS folded under his head.

hyrule almost always ends up face down in his sleep. has woken up a few times with a dirt covered face after he shifted a little off his bedroll. a drooler and utterly limp in his sleep. when he sleeps outside he's quite a light sleeper, but put him in a bed and it's like trying to wake the dead. ever seen videos of a cat sleeping so hard you can lift their head and it just flops back down? that's him

warriors likes to think he's a normal sleeper but the truth is he has weird nonsensical dreams almost every night that he never remembers. which wouldn't be a problem if he wasn't a sleep talker. those who take watch beware: wars will say some strange shit and any attempt to get context is a losing battle. a few times the others have managed to hold absurd conversation with him in his sleep. is incredibly annoyed to be awoken regardless of reason, though years in the army means he's good at hiding it. sleeps in the recovery position without fail.

legend is one of the last people to fall asleep, his brain likes to go and go and go until he cannot keep his eyes open. he can and will function on very little sleep; he has an odd sleep rhythm that leads to falling asleep late and waking early. he tries very hard not to wake before or at the same time as wild. many many mornings he will open his eyes, see a barely lit sky, and do his best to pass out again (it doesn't usually work but it's the thought that counts)

I wanted to answer this ask because it popped up very late in the night for me, but I also wanted to cut off the part that linked the blog to me because I ain't gonna give them the attention they want. Thank you for reaching out to me about this! I saw that they're a bunch of pro-shippers, which I've been very vocally and publicly against having in my viewership (as has Clown!), so... we shouldn't care what they think! It's also kinda funny because uh... I have been very upfront in the past that I was encouraged to post my work because of Welcome Home. It made me happy that there was an appreciation for our brand of puppets when I was coming back to social media :o) They also don't realize that the people they're white-knighting for are the same people they're insulting in that same ask, because a fair amount of people from the Welcome Home team also work on the DAWM team, so a knock at my work is a knock at the Welcome Home team's work as well. I just haven't announced their roles in this project, ha! But ya know what? I can't control what people think of me, or what they think of my project. I have been pretty open about it on my social media, but that only does so much. Sometimes people wanna just tear ya down because of their own insecurities or issues. Their hatred doesn't define us. I will continue to do my best to treat the folks around me with love, will continue trying to be mindful of how I leave folks and the spaces around me, and I will continue creating and working with my friends on this project, because that's the kind of energy I want to put out into the world and it's what I wanna see more of.

In a time where hate is often put on a pedestal and amplified, let's turn our backs on that behavior and engage in spaces where people nurture each other and do their best to be kind instead. People that are secure in themselves do not feel the need to tear others down like that.

Page one: Shang Qinghua is in the midst of rambling and waving his hand around, "It's not my fault you're all fictional, except that it is & I hate everything. My life is a whole lot of nothing." all while thinking "WTF, Mu Qingfang's so chill?" In the next panel, they are seen to be noting something down with a nonchalant "I see." In the third panel, Shang Qinghua leans forward from the medical bed and jokes, "I'm pretty weird, huh Shibiao?" to which Mu Qingfang glances behind themself and says, "Not particularly. Even I forget the world is not my own experiment—" before cutting themself off. A small panel cut into their dialogue box has arrows pointing at them, a chibi version with a large sweat drop, indicating they did not mean to say that. In the fifth panel, Shang Qinghua also sweats and comments "Mu-yishi's so scary," which turns into a giant arrow that strikes Mu Qingfang on the head while they attempt to clear their throat and distract from their prior comment.

Page two: Mu Qingfang leans into Shang Qinghua conspiratorially, holding their notes up close as they admit, "In any case, we aren't the only ones disillusioned." Shang Qinghua gives a confused smile, following Mu Qingfang's thought bubbles with the other peak lords. It begins with Shen Qingqiu, who indignantly insists "I may as well be dead, for all the difference it makes." from behind his fan. Then, Yue Qingyuan (as hosted by Xuan Su) muses "Mu Qingfang must know 'this one' is not who you seek, hm?" In response, Shang Qinghua nervously laughs "How ominous, Zhangmen…" while Mu Qingfang replies simply "Indeed."

Page three: Wei Qingwei grins as he considers a question off-screen, "Hmmm… I suppose I've never felt alive? So who knows!" It then shifts over to chibi versions of Wei Qingwei and Mu Qingfang, who looks up at him pitifully. Wei Qingwei holds his hands up and insists "Ahhh, I'm okay! Really! Don't be upset Qingfang-tongzhi…" Then, it shows Qi Qingqi, who folds her arms and sighs, "I only wish we could cultivate past sleeping—I am so done with feeling as though I'm sleep-walking." The thought bubble ends, revealing Shang Qinghua with his hands steepled as he anxiously mutters, "My children are really messed up. Did I do this? No…" Mu Qingfang suddenly looks to him bewildered, bringing their notes up as they question "Your what." END ID.]

(I mean the man's a loose cannon, so god knows if he'll actually listen. but climate is my biggest worry with this administration, so this gives me a sliver of hope)
