See, a few hours ago, you'd decided to actually go to the windblume festival this year with someone you really liked. Kaeya Alberich. You knew he probably had a bunch of people in Monstadt drooling over him, which is why you wanted to ask him as soon as possible. So you'd invited him out to Windrise and told him you needed to tell him something really important. He'd chuckled and given you a knowing look as if he could already guess what you wanted to ask. But you'd rushed off before he could do anything but nod.

"Sorry (?), I got a bit held up with the Acting Grand Master." Said the familiar, silky voice of Monstadt's Cavalry Captain, and Monstadt's most beautiful man. Monstadt's most beautiful man who'd clipped his little longer portion of hair into a high ponytail and combed his bangs back a bit to accentuate his face. His pretty little face. Which currently had a slight bit of shimmering highlighter on his defined cheekbones, a few beads of sweat on his forehead, and bright blue eyeliner forming a small wing at the corner of his narrow, bright eye.

"No troubles. Oh here, this is for you. Sorry I may have picked at the petals a bit." You said with a shy giggle, handing him the small bouquet of calla lilies. As he smiled and grabbed it, you noticed something. A corset. Kaeya already had a slim waist, he didn't need a corset, but he looked so good wearing one. It was navy blue and lacey, satin trim. It hugged his petite figure perfectly and made his chest look delicious delightful.

"—llo? Hello? World to (?). Anybody in there?" You hadn't even heard what Kaeya had said a few seconds prior. The only reason you noticed he was speaking was because he got close to your face and gently grabbed your chin, making you look at his face instead of his perfect little hips that looked like they'd fit wonderfully into the palms of your hands.

"Oh! Oh uh....yeah sorry. Guess I got distracted. What were you saying?" You questioned, giving a nervous chuckle and rubbing the back of your neck, trying to stand in a way that his the growing bulge in your pants. You couldn't fathom how horny you had to be to get hard just seeing Kaeya in a corset. You felt a little ashamed.

"I asked what you wanted to talk about. You didn't bring me here just to give me a bouquet did you? Not that I'd mind, since I got to see you even if for just a fleeting moment." Kaeya gave a sly chuckle, a hint of knowingness behind that fake innocence in his gaze.

It took you a second to register Kaeyas words, standing dumbfounded. "W– What?" "I'd love to go to the Windblume festival with you, (?)." You had to conceal every reaction that threatened to leak out of you right then and there. And that bastard was just smiling innocently, looking all polite and pretty. You played it off with a chuckle, holding both hands in front of the increasingly tightening tent in your pants, trying to hide it. You couldn't get the images out of your head, images of him—

"(?)? You look nervous. Is something wrong?"

"What? Uh n—" You wanted to say no. But something was very much wrong. The problem was that he wasn't sitting naked underneath you with a fucked out expression on his face, your cock buried deep inside him. That's what was wrong. "Actually. Yeah."

I posted a silly little side story in my Ratiorine (HSR) Omegaverse series and also uhhhhh the big multi-chapter entry in that series has half the hits of Render, a long fic from my Jeanmarco days that has been so head-and-shoulders more well received for the past decade I kind of thought I had peaked as a writer in college so. uh.

Wow! Thanks for all the hits! If the Ratiorines manage to get Miasma to usurp Render I'll. Fuck, I don't know. Host a pizza party at Windblume in August??? Terrifying. Genuinely floored at the positive reaction and still processing it all. DAMN.

Basically I was inspired by an edit from the Handjumper Discord server (read Handjumper people, it's a really good series) so I made it Fremillei!

Why is Collei Freminets liberty and changing his history? (Yes I took it literally, because I can)

I thought it could fit with her maybe helping him brraking free from the shackles of the Fatui and realising how it harms him, despite the good memories with Lyney and Lynette.

Life and Death? Collei chose her life, while Freminet had to fight for his life in Arlecchinos SQ xD (I mean more or less, she went easy on them, but if ykyk)

Love and regret? Freminets event was all about the love and care he has for other people and their dreams and how he wants them to have their own light and for Collei that one manga panel just fit perfectly. (Also I love creating antithesis in edits)

Answers and keys? Collei has answers as for how to live life peacefully and how to deal with mental distress better and can support Freminet with that more. Freminet can only change his destiny by himself and had the key in his hands (also him with pers and with that key was a cute and fitting scene) and he obviously knows secrets of the Fatui and probably saw hidden secret in the depths of the sea which leads me to the questions:

Why did I change the colours to Bernadette in the end?

Because Collei still has the residue in her and in the Windblume festival we saw how it's purple (darker shade than what I used, but still purple), so maybe connection connection him maybe helping collei breaking completely free from the residue with knowledge/key he has??? Speculations and stuff I discussed with some friends, so it was fun^^

I had another way to continue the Albedo series involving Tighnari but changed it in the end since the Dendro archon before Nahida is erased from history, it would also have consequences for the reader because their family worked specifically for her and without her, what purpose would the reader have? Maybe the course of history is changed where Tighnari and the reader never met and they first meet during the windblume festival, that means no more Cyno and reader bickering of jokes and etc.

As a long time fan of YOI this stings terribly, I hope somewhere like Netflix picks this up and continues the show. If they could continue the Cobra Kai series then they can do so for Yuri on Ice!! 😭

I am really, really, really looking forward to the ‘Windblume’s Breath’ event (1:18 in the video). I can’t wait to see Amber and Collei reunite, I can’t wait for more CyNari content (how those two get along I have no idea, and I really want to smack Cyno for that ridiculous pun. Usually his dry humor is right up my alley, but that one’s too much). But most of all, I’m desperately hoping for more Kaveh content. I really want him to be a playable character at some point, but it seems that he’s going to get the Baizhu treatment which is a damn shame.

I wanna see Kaveh and Diluc together. I wanna see them have a romance like Bill and Frank from ‘The Last of Us’ TV series, but without the zombie apocalypse. I wanna see Kaveh get spoiled like he deserves T_T

They've had a decent amount of interactions, Windblume and Irodori come to mind first and foremost. Considering the appearance of Susbedo and Venti's involvement with Durin I think it'd be hard to ignore that somethings up with the situation? On Albedo's part I think there's significantly less to suspect considering all his leads are also present as leads for Mondstadt citizens in general, and that's going swimmingly.

Mainly though, consider that Albedo doesn't succeed in destruction. You're right, I think there's more chance of sympathy there because of the notion of not being in control and something remaining to salvage. But also consider: Venti doesn't get involved in Mondstadt matters unless absolutely necessary (Durin and Ursa) or on the incognito (Dvalin, sort of). What would be the tipping point if Albedo isn't stoppable, for Venti to intervene, and what would he do about it?

It'd also depend on what traveller does and how much info they have, of course, but it's an interesting thought. Consider also that it could be Susbedo doing the destruction because he's the more trigger happy of the two.

Also that's actually a really good point about Barbatos in wartime- definitely gonna have to check it out skmetime as soon as my current read and watch list is cleared. Because that's interesting AF
