I don't know if anyone remembers, but on November 5th 2020, when destiel went canon, they trended above the American presidential election and broke the internet. Several weeks later when the series finale ended, it, uh, did not do that. It ended with a whimper, not a bang. I'm so constantly flummoxed that the network/showrunners/actors/media all seem to think the Jared-and-Jensen combo is THEE selling point when in fact they barely move the needle within the spn fandom. No one is going to give two fucks about Jared Padalecki showing up on The Boys except the nutso jarpad stans who've spent the last few years shitting on Jensen for, you know, being on The Boys.
