okay, so. about the swtor 7.2 livestream.

i don't really care about the new story content (mostly because i'm not a huge mando fan), but the new planet looks good. the daily area introduces something that could be interesting imo (the mando relic missions thingy) and the rewards are ok i guess? nothing too crazy but it could be worse.

anyway. let's talk about pvp. i love ranked pvp, i really do, but how many times have i dreamt to burn it to the ground? the community sucks, everyone knows that, but i don't mind the toxicity. my issue is the wintrading. the last ranked seasons were full of wintraders, some players would purposely throw solo ranked matches and i don't even want to mention group ranked. that being said, i don't think removing ranked pvp from the game will change anything about the toxicity. there are plenty of toxic players in regs as well and these changes won't affect them. ranked players will be forced to do unranked pvp (assuming they don't leave the game) so expect premades and genchat drama. i don't have anything to say about the rewards, they're okay but the armor set looks ugly lol. on the positive side, we're getting a new 4v4 map and it looks amazing.

I just wanna say that the fact certain people/guilds are botting and deliberately wintrading in order to win conquest on SV server is low and gross. Fair competition is fine. Breaking TOS to get ahead for achievements or accolades is not. Yes it makes me petty and annoyed to see that because it makes us all look bad.

i'm getting tired of some player's behaviour in ranked pvp & i'm not even talking about the toxicity

people will instantly /stuck a round to let their friends in the enemy team win the match and they'll yell at their teammates if they still try to fight & insult you if you win a 3v4

ranked pvp is supposed to be competitive, but i guess wintrading is the easiest way to get a better rating 🙂

so i initially i didnt care why trials of osiris was disabled for the 548984th time because why would i but i ended up hearing about it anyways and i feel compelled to share with you the information as to why because it’s very much different than your usual out of bounds bullshit.

bungie disabled trials because 50% of PC players who made it to flawless had done so with 0 kills. how? wintrading, along with the handy dandy joining a match in progress glitch(? i have no idea if this is intentional for trials but it probably is. you can do this in regular crucible though). 

this chart explains how to successfully wintrade with strangers pretty well

tldr a large portion of the destiny community came together to wintrade. not even to cheat using like 3rd party hacking software, literally just to gamble their way to flawless because they could exploit a single game mechanic which is that you can join a match in progress in pvp.
