New oc alert!!!

She does not serve any plot relevance but I still like her.

This is just her first drawing so her design may change.

Her name is Diaya Hio, she was the 6th ruler of Winxetania and was basically who Thaniea looked up to in her life.

She's was a very important ruler when it comes to the history of Winxetania and she helped make Thaniea into who she is.

Maybe she should get her own story, maybe not, but I think it's important that characters have fully fleshed out family trees and lore to make them seem more real.

Looking back at my old notes for my wip, I’m honestly shocked with some of the stuff I forgot. Like how Zena suffers from chronic pain/cramps because of the amount of echo (Power) is inside her that can’t escape but she has learnt to live with it and how all of Thaniea’s family slowly have parts of their bodies look like galaxies as they return to the stars once they die and barely anyone in the family likes it but Thaniea wants it to happen to her because it would mean that she didn’t die young.

Like, slow down, past me, you haven’t even written what age your characters are yet.

The Hio royal family of Winxetania!

Here they all are, we have the parents on the left and Thaniea and her siblings every where else.

A bit of backstory:

Thaniea was born 2nd youngest and was fourth in line. When her eldest brother abdicated the throne, Thaniea expected to become third in line, instead her youngest brother was made to take his brother's place, becoming first in line to the throne while Thaniea stayed fourth in line, never expecting to take the throne and instead putting her work and life into her studies.

Labour by Paris Paloma is so Renaya Satone/Hio coded the more I think about it I swear.

I show post about her more. She is literally Ravona's twin sister and the queen of Winxetania (the planet the story starts on)

And I think there's so much more that could be done with her.

I'm still quite sick, so I'm drawing to take my mind off stuff while watching videos about Dante's Inferno.

Also been looking for stuff for my birthday cause I have a month until its my birthday (20th April)

You asked for Zena and Thaniea to be drawn and they have been!

I think this drawing fits their personalities perfectly. Zena doesn't care how people perceive her and will tell them straight to their face how she feels about them while Thaniea judges more quietly and through judgemental eyes.

Space girlfriends right here, definitely didn't hate each other when they first met, not at all.

Drawing your oc's when they're older is so nice but also so heartbreaking. Like, it's nice to see what they will look like when they're older, but knowing they could be killed at a few written words breaks me.

Anyways, does anyone wants Zena and Thaniea at age 49 with their son Kalen, age 19?

It's not that good but it's still an attempt.

I'll still need to find the exact brushes I'll be using for my artwork, but still, here is an attempt with Thaniea, seeing as how I haven't drawn her in a while.

Just to let you all know, Thaniea's backstory is being changed. Some may see it as a big change, but it isn't that big. It's more with her mother than her so expect more drawings of her mother.

My oc's as songs from my playlist (Part 1)

My song playlist is currently on shuffle and any song that comes on, I shall put down and which of my oc's I think it closely matches the most.

"American Pie" By Don Mclean- Tye Loe Madon

I don't think it fits his story that much, but I can hear him singing along to it, maybe singing it quietly while rocking Zena to sleep when she was a baby.

I imagine Tye Loe would listen to quite a few songs from the 70's and he would listen to American Pie if he existed irl.

And I think he probably would of also sang it to Mazen as they were going to sleep so he would continue to do so when putting Zena to sleep because it would make him remember the old times.

2. "St. Marie" By Stone sour- Tye Loe Madon

Another song that I would fit Tye Loe Madon rather than being a song he would listen to.

Firstly, it's got saint in the name of the song, and Tye Loe used to a saint.

I can imagine Tye Loe to this song, praying to some random elder saint about his life and maybe even talking to Mazen how he can't live without him.

3. "Falling away from me" By Korn- Aeron Hesing

I don't think Aeron would be that into Nu-metal (In fact, I think Orsk is the one that would listen to more metal) but I think Aeron would listen to Korn as he relates to a couple song and likes to scream out the lyrics.

I can imagine Aeron singing along to it while Valarin supports him.

4. "Just one yesterday" By Fall out boy- Zena Xa-Qui

Considering the fact that this song is already on a playlist I have made for Zena, it would be fair to say that she would probably relate or even listen to this song.

I could imagine making an animatic with Zena when she's singing along to the song and just smirking the entire time as she sings with Thaniea.

Also, she would trade all of her tomorrows to have just one yesterday, it's just a fact.

5. "Everlong" By Foo fighters- Tye Loe Madon

Another song that I think would match Tye Loe Madon (it's almost like he's the character I relate to the most or something) and it's a Foo fighters song!

Yeah, Tye Loe was all dramatic and sad after having to lose Mazen and run away to Winxetania with Zena, but he never gave up and would always want him back and know he's fine, because he can't live without knowing if Mazen is okay.

I also think some of the lyrics could link to Tye Loe and his relationship with Ravona, with the fact that she's dead and he knows that their relationship they had will slowly start to fade after so many years.

6. "First light" By Hozier- Mazen Xa-Qui

Mazen's life before the 19th charge was his full life, it was everything to him: his family, his friends, his husband.

But then his "First light" happened and everything became what he thought was more clear, not realising how he was being used.

The one bright morning that changes everything could be said to be the day in 6026 PT when he realises what has happened to his life and he is able to break away from the darkness, "Never going back again", as he ends his own reign in order to give his daughter a new life, a better life, within the "First light".

He dies, therefore he lives his whole life, before the first light.

7. "Missionary Man" by Ghost- Mazen Xa-Qui

I can't say a lot about this one but I would say that it fits Mazen the best as he's one of the few characters that actually has a brother and a mother which fits with the lyrics.

I don't know what else to say about it.
