Anatomy of a Dalek
A Dalek is primarily made from Dalekanium and polycarbide and is technically a cyborg. To understand how a Dalek is created, see How Do Daleks Become Daleks?
Some Daleks will have variations on the below, but these aspects of a Dalek's anatomy are broadly applicable to most.
The Dome (aka dome section, head section, head dome) is attached to the neck via a docking clamp.
Eyestalk (aka eyepiece, eye antenna, tele-eye, eye-stick, optical stalk, sensory antenna, eyeball unit). The eyestalk is attached to the dome via a lens attachment, sitting on a pivot in a cowl. The eye itself is known as an eyelens. The eyestalk is covered in multiple insulator discs to protect it from radiation.
Luminosity dischargers (aka headlamp, radiation valve, dome light, vocaliser light, sound disc). It's not quite known how or why the luminosity dischargers sync up with Dalek speech, but they could be energy compensators, translation units, safety valves to release excess energy, or just lights to indicate when a Dalek's speaking.
Neck (aka grating section, upper grating section). Attached to the weapons platform via another docking clamp, or 'catch'.
Neck rings support the neck grille.
Neck grille (aka audio receptor grill, sensor grille, sensor mesh, sensor grid louvres) cover the mutant Dalek within.
Weapons Platform (aka shoulder platform, shoulder section).
Slats (aka solar power collection slats, solar slats, solar cells, shoulder slats, armour slats, sensor plates) are effectively solar panels that absorb energy to power the Dalek.
Gunstick (aka radiation gun, gun-rod, ray-gun, exterminator, blast-gun, energy gun, Dalek neutraliser, neutraliser, beam distributor, Dalek beam gun, Dalek gun, ruby ray blaster). Sits on a balljoint, controlled by armament circuits. Can be set to non-lethal, causing temporary paralysis, but maximum settings can split atoms apart. Some Daleks deliberately reduce the power of their gunstick so that the beam burns away the central nervous system outside inwards, so victims die within 2-3 seconds in complete agony.
Manipulator arm (aka tactile arm, arm-stick). Usually sits on a balljoint. Attachments can be swapped out for various tools depending on the needs of the Dalek. Some attachments include the plunger, flamethrower, seismic detector, electrode unit, sieve, syringe, blow torch, cutting tool, another gunstick, or a claw, or basically anything they need.
Base Unit (aka travel unit). Contains the motive unit, the elevation unit, and thrusters.
Sense spheres (aka sensor globes, sensor arrays, bumps) can do pretty much whatever you want them to, including detecting emissions, monitoring the surrounding environment, and acting as self-destruct mechanisms. They can also function as sockets for cables and wires, and some say the sensor globes are capable of free flight, allowing them to provide remote battlefield intelligence.
Bumper (aka fender). Possibly containing proximal alert systems to detect other Daleks, but more likely just softening collisions.

I don't believe this constitutes as a Quirk Marriage. Could you make a quirk based off of the "Aether" from the novel "The Novel's Extra"? It's like a.. blob/object that's fluid-like thst can take on varying forms such as a wire to grab things or to retract weapons and such, a shield, weapons. It's capable of increasing the users physical stats and enhancing the capabilities of weapons It's.. coated(?) with. In the series itself gets stronger alongside its owner. Hope you have a nice day/night!
Maybe? I think the problem with that is the concept is far too varied. Not only can it enhance the user, but it can take on all these other shapes and has these applications? Even if you found a way for it to make sense, it's a lot for one Quirk to do. Maybe if you had it so it focused more on one or the other. Like "Reinforce" can fit the coating idea you mentioned, but it doesn't exactly fit with a lot of the other applications you brought up, so I'm not sure if it is the best fit. Otherwise, "Mesh" can cover the user in a mesh that grows with their own muscles and the user can shape it in various ways. However, it doesn't have the same kind of range or freedom as what you suggest. "Real Feel" can give the user this minion that is able to take a lot of different forms and they have a lot of control over how it is shaped. But because it takes the form of a minion Quirk, the user is left open as they have no real way to protect themselves in a fight.

Here's my completed V2 archimedes pulley system finally done! It is 16:1 downgearing and this pairs with my 2.77:1 downgearing on the turn in place pulley on the motor for a total of 44:1 downgearing. It is fully rigged then from motor to finger and ready to go into testing soon. I just need to do a couple reinforcements here and there on some stuff but overall we are more or less ready to move onto setting up the return springs that my last post mentioned. So that is next. Then electronics to actuate it and test it finally! Exciting times! Also, I have come to the realization that these straight spring wires may be perfect for forming the exoskeleton mesh shapes that create the framework scaffolding over which the artificial silicone skin will overlay. The fact it has memory and wants to return to its prior shape after impacts is perfect for this application. I'd be simply forming a grid in the shape of the muscles over the bones using this stuff and then onto this grid I would overlay the silicone skin suit. The grid can be configured to even move under the skin, emulating muscle contractions to simulate real muscles moving under the skin in terms of its appearance during movement. I was originally leaning toward zip ties to make this part or nylon 3d printer filament but this spring wire may be even better due to being strong, resistive to breaking even more durability wise, holding its shape perhaps a bit better, etc. The other options I mentioned aren't bad but I just think I might like working with spring wire a bit more intuitively. We'll see.

First of all, just wanted to say that I'm a big fan of the work you've been doing on examining and decoding the Peglar Papers. Absolutely outstanding stuff! <3 Secondly, I hope you don't mind me offering my (entirely unsolicited but professional!) two cents on your post regarding pencil lines on the page with the Open C poem?
In short, I'd like to raise the opinion that the lines we're seeing on the paper may not be pencil lines but 'chain' lines from the paper production process. Wider-spaced 'chain' lines and narrower 'laid' lines come from the wire mesh on which the paper was made (typically a feature of handmade paper but by this point in history it would've been possible to produce them mechanically). Either way, it certainly does appear that Peglar/Armitage/the author did utilise the lines to keep their writing neat. :D
Anyway, do with that information what you will and feel free to ignore. Just thought it might be of interest to you and this seemed the best way to communicate it. <3

the only reason I assumed they were pencil marks at first is because the rondel / “terror camp clear” circle does seem to meeee to be traced out in pencil? which may have very likely been a circle compass (which would make sense to be on a navy ship), or maybe he traced around the diameter of a cup or something similarly round, so I had assumed the use of pencil marks as a sketch/guide would have been applicable on other sheets too… i hadn’t even considered they were part of the actual page’s manufacturing process but that’s such a smart insight omg!!!! ok my overly romantic idea cancelled, this feels so much more likely
