Hot take for the possibility of young Mike, Will, and Jonathan flashbacks.

Please please PLEASE do not do the cgi thing again. We had a young Max in a scene and it was fine. We had that young Eleven with the young Kali in season 2 and that was fine. It’s suspension of disbelief. I get it for any flashbacks of 12 year old Will because we saw him on screen before but PLEASE just let them be little kids that look like them I’m begging. I’m so sorry but I hate the cgi El😭

I love Merlin. I've been rewatching it and am enjoying it so so much. But god this show is hard to watch sometimes. It's so tragic. Merlin is never allowed an ounce of hope or happiness. It's always quickly destroyed and as the viewer I just feel so frustrated. Merlin losing his father almost immediately after meeting him. Merlin losing every friend who knows his secret pretty quickly (except Gaius). Merlin losing a love almost as soon as he finds and gets to know her. Merlin hardening Arthur's heart against magic by accidentally killing Uther because of Morgana. Merlin saving Arthur, his best friend, over and over again with never a hint of a thanks because he's forced to do so secretly so as to not be burned at the stake. Merlin losing his best friend anyway his kind heart saved a young boy years before and you can't escape destiny. Merlin being forced to watch everyone he knows and love die while he keeps living. Merlin who just keeps living and living and living, carrying the burden of his failure and loss for centuries.

It just hits where it hurts. And to make the viewer experience the pain, anger, frustration, joy, hope, sadness, and grief the characters seem to experience is exactly why this show is still so popular, at least on Tumblr. It's exactly why it's still commonly trending despite no new content in years

When i was in my last year before high school i watched my first show in english instead of dubbed french : doctor who . That lead me to get really motivated to learn english, which led to me trying to watch youtube videos in english so i discovered John Cozart, who did a video with Thomas Sanders, who mentioned the song 'For the record' from 36 questions, which got me to listen to it on repeat until i actually listened to the musical in full, which got me really obsessed with Jonathan groff, who now plays Rogue in doctor who.
