The protag of space archives is mentioned once in this but only briefly so I did not have to make an executive decision about whether she ever got her shit together. She spends so much of her life fully bought into the white supremacist capitalist cultural concept of individualism and blaming her disabled self for not being good enough, and while she eventually does realize that it's not all her fault, she never fully identifies the underlying issues with her mindset that led to that disconnect. There are only so many personal revelations you can have at once in a weird space bug cave. Maybe she gets there later. Maybe not. Canonically there have been thinkpieces about the whole thing so maybe she read them. Most of them would probably not be useful though.
