WITH I.O.I.

Jung Sora was an I.O.I. member from 2016 to 2017, being placed at number two in the survival show Produce 101. She was the maknae, lead dancer, and a vocalist.

Coming from Cre.Ker Entertainment, her first evaluation performance was Becky G’s Shower and she was placed in rank A. Throughout the show, the lowest number she was placed was two and switched between place one and two, constantly ‘battling’ Jeon Somi for number one.

Despite being the youngest on the show, she was well loved by the public who were captivated by her Golden Girl image, dance and vocals.

RELATIONSHIPS WITH I.O.I.

NAYOUNG

SHIP NAME soyoung

One of Sora’s very first older sisters.

Sora was lowkey scared of her and avoid her because of her ‘cold’ image but Nayoung was persistent in letting her know she could rely on her because Sora was just so tiny and alone, she needed someone to look out for her. Which was what Nayoung did.

Nayoung’s always been Sora’s voice of reason, her number one protector. Sora doesn’t think there will ever be another Nayoung for her.

A popular moment between them is Nayoung gently directing Sora on how to do something, many fans talking about how patient and kind she was with her.

As of 2024, Nayoung and Sora aren’t as close as they used to be. They’re at two different points in their lives, and their bond is still there, but they’ve faded away from one another. They still check on one another, congratulate each other’s comebacks, and talk in the group-chat with the I.O.I. members.

CHUNGHA

SHIP NAME chora

If Nayoung is her protector, Chungha is her defender. She’s always on Sora’s side, honestly— her and Nayoung practically raised that girl. Chungha is always there for Sora, and somehow always knows when something is wrong, even miles apart.

Sora was at first intimidated by her, but Chungha wanted to protect her from the world immediately, and like Nayoung, didn’t give up. Their friendship is more like of younger sister teasing older sister and making trouble for her.

Sora would practice her English with Chungha, and Chungha always looked so proud whenever she spoke English. Back then, her English was not as good as it was now.

A popular moment between them is Sora being so excited to see Chungha during Sparkling and Pass the Mic promotions every day.

As of 2024, Sora and Chungha are often in contact and both always make sure to promote each other. Sora often mentions her (as well as the others) in her lives when she’s telling stories.

SEJEONG

SHIP NAME sojeong

Sora was both envious and in awe of Sejeong. She just thought she was the perfect woman. Sejeong really saw her and had to take a double take, thinking she was a really short girl until she saw her face.

Sejeong was determined to help Sora, knowing it must be hard for a young girl like her to be surrounded by everyone older.

These two didn’t get close until they started practicing for Very Very Very, Sejeong just thinking she’s the best thing. Sejeong very much fawns over her all the time. She always feeds into her antics, she can’t help it. She can’t say no.

A popular moment between them is Sejeong pinching Sora’s cheeks in 2016 and again in 2023 when Sejeong promoted Voyage and Top or Cliff during Sora’s emcee time.

As of 2024, like most members, they’re at different points in their lives and aren’t as close as they were. They talk one-on-one sometimes but it’s mostly through the group-chat.

CHAEYEON

SHIP NAME chaera

Sora was actually a fan of DIA before Produce 101, so she was really excited to meet one of her favorite idols. Until she actually met her and was so nervous she just stood there not saying anything while other trainees talked, staring at Chaeyeon when she wasn’t looking. There’s a compilation on YouTube of Sora staring at Chaeyeon during I.O.I. and Produce 101.

Chaeyeon thought she was adorable, but that was pretty much it. She didn’t exactly want to be friends with a thirteen year old. Sora was more than fine with that, though, even if she did want to be her friend at least a little. As the show went on, Chaeyeon grew to really respect her and her desire to debut.

Chaeyeon always cheered her on and would treat her like a younger sister, letting her try out makeup looks on her since that was what she was most interested in at the time besides being an idol. Chaeyeon also gave her lots of girl advice, little hacks here and there. Definitely the cool unnie.

A popular moment of them is Chaeyeon telling Sora during their last concert, “Sora-ah, never change. You’re perfect the way you are, and you’ll only get better from now. Unnie will always cheer you on from afar, okay?” before breaking down in cheers.

As of 2024, they don’t talk very much one-on-one besides for birthdays and achievements. They mostly interact through the group-chat.

PINKY / KYULKYUNG

SHIP NAME sopink

Kyulkyung tried hard to be Sora’s friend, always managing to make her laugh in tough times. It took multiple times for them to actually be friends, though, as Sora was just generally more shy around older people. Kyulkyung knew to never take it offensively as Nayoung told her.

Sora admired her bravery to express herself but was jealous of how easily it came to her. Nayoung was the reason they got as close as they ever did.

Their relationship is more of a teasing one, where Kyulkyung provokes her to get a reaction out of her. She’d always pull Sora into trouble, which in return made a habit of Sora’s for making trouble.

A popular moment is Kyulkyung teasing Sora for a crush in her school she used to have while live.

As of 2024, Kyulkyung is always in China and Sora is always everywhere else. They’re both very busy so they don’t really talk one-on-one but do interact in the group-chat.

SOHYE

SHIP NAME soso

They were both awkward with one another throughout the show, but as time went on, it got way better. Sora thought she was so funny as she was always clumsy, and Sohye thought she was a really good dancer.

They became better friends when Sora offered to help Sohye with the choreo for a song they were paired together with. Sohye was very appreciative, especially after her rank went up after the performance.

Sora didn’t have it in her to speak up against the older trainees when one may have said something bad about her, but she’d always make sure to comfort her and just give her a space to vent.

A popular moment is when Sora defending Sohye when people make jokes about her dancing, saying she’s improved a lot.

As of 2024, they only talk through the group-chat and only wish each other happy birthdays one-on-one.

YEONJUNG

SHIP NAME yeonra

Sora thought she was so fucking cool. She wanted to be her so bad. She inspired her a lot. Yeonjung thought she was the sweetest thing who could do no wrong but was quickly proved wrong when Sora showed her true colors off camera. She thought it was funny and that Sora reminded her of herself.

Yeonjung would always be by her side when the other girls were off doing something else, not even having to say anything, just standing there with her.

Yeonjung is more soft with her than anything, always babying her despite Sora’s insistence she stops. She still teases her, but it’s all in good fun.

A popular moment is Yeonjeong hitting an impressive high note and the camera panning to Sora who looked surprised and awed.

As of 2024, Sora constantly plays WJSN’s songs despite their hiatus and bugs Yeonjung for updates on a comeback while Yeonjung always teases her about ENHYPEN babying her.

YOOJUNG

SHIP NAME yoora

Cat and mouse duo. Yoojung loves to chase for Sora’s affection and to baby her, but Sora lowkey likes the chase. It makes her feel wanted.

Yoojung does everything she can to make Sora laugh, it’s a win in her book. She’d often fight with another member to have Sora sit next to her.

Sora always makes fun of the fact that she’s now taller than her, even if it’s just an inch.

A popular moment is Yoojung and Sora accidentally kissing when Yoojung tries to sneak a kiss on her cheek and Sora turns her head at the exact same time.

As of 2024, they don’t talk every day, but it’s once or twice a week. Sora is a huge Weki Meki fan, and is always willing to listen to her talk about anything. Sora always threatens to b*rn Fantiago down for her.

MINA

SHIP NAME somina

Sora thought Mina was around her age, not a 1999 liner so she was really shocked when she found out. She was so adorable she couldn’t help but think it.

Mina was really easy to get along with, so Sora easily befriended her early in the show. To Mina, Sora was like the little sister she never wanted but loved.

Sora also thinks she’s easy to make fun of, always giggling but comforting Mina when she cried.

A popular moment is when Mina’s departure from being an emcee, Sora was there and gave her a dessert and a hug.

As of 2024, Sora is very supportive of Mina (and everyone else’s!) dramas and always watches them in her free time. They still play games together in their free time, but other than that, everything is mostly in the group-chat.

DOYEON

SHIP NAME soyeon

As of 2024, they mostly talk in the group-chat or always say hi to one another when Yoojung and Sora are calling.

Sora was shaking and blushing so hard when they first met, Doyeon was so concerned. Yes, that did go viral. Sora thought Doyeon was gorgeous, but was also intimidated by it so besides the greeting, she’d turn to talk to another trainee.

Honestly, Doyeon thought Sora disliked her at first and was like “What the hell did I do for this kid to hate me?” So it was really awkward for awhile until while preparing for Whatta Man.

They discovered they had a lot in common. Some things they liked to do with one another was watch movies, specifically horror movies together.

A popular moment is Sora snuggling into Doyeon when it was cold outside and Doyeon held her close in her jacket. One of the main reasons being for their height difference.

As of 2024, Doyeon wouldn’t relent on letting Sora getting too busy for her and so they talk almost as much as Sora and Yoojung do, mostly because they live together.

SOMI

SHIP NAME sorami

Mnet portrayed the two as rivals so well that it affected their friendship. They were friends before the first episode aired, and as time went by with Mnet’s evil editing and pitting them against one another, Sora genuinely began disliking her and vice versa.

It took a heavy toll on their friendship, and as Produce 101 got closer to ending, they both grew very sickened at being pit against each other and just missed their friendship. Sora missed Somi’s weird antics, Somi missed her teasing but sweet nature.

Sora prefers to keep her friendship with Somi more laidback and fun, so she very rarely tells her any harsh problems, but she knows Somi is always there to lend an ear to and vice versa.

A big moment for them is the last episode of Produce 101, they’re waiting for the second place to be called. Sora’s name is called for second place, both girls burst into tears and turn to hug each other at the same time. Both girls just felt so much relief that it was finally over.

As of 2024, Somi is one of Sora’s closest girl friends, and vice versa. These two are constantly seen hanging out and doing TikToks together.

It was very hard for honestly all of them to disband, but especially Sora. She had nothing to go back to, the people she talked to the most at her company was male trainees that were all three years and more older than her and she was shyer around men. The other female trainees were all older than her or leaving.

Sora doesn’t like being vulnerable in front of other people, but she cried so hard during their last concert despite trying to hold it in. She’s since gotten better. They still talk in their group-chat, and Sora refers to them as her members still, despite being in ENHYPEN as well. They will always be close to her heart as they all helped shaped her into who she was.

Unfortunately, the last time Sora saw the full group altogether in person was as when they were moving out of their dorm. Sora didn’t get to attend the I.O.I. reunion due to conflicting schedules of Drunk-Dazed promotions but did face-time the group. She didn’t even get to go to I.O.I.’s Christmas dinner in 2023.

We all know that these days idols are very close to their staff, and honestly that's good because a nice teamwork can give better results. However saying that someone is close to someone else is too much general: they can be colleagues, friends or... something more romantic.

This is the case of the gorgeous manager working for WJSN. We all know that these girls are very...sapphic sometimes, and having this cool and pretty girl protecting you can move something inside your chest. In particular two of them, Seola and Bona, get very attached to her.

Until today they tried to contain themselves, limiting to hanging out all three together after worktime and to some kind cuddle at late night. They didn't intend to change your relationship right now, but they saw something that made instantly change their idea.

They were at this university festival with some of their younger group from the same agency, like Cravity and IVE; regarding that, Yujin was chosen as the main host for the night and that meant that she would often come on and off the stage.

The leader of IVE had just announced the Cosmic Girls as the next artists, so she was coming down the steps when she slightly lost the balance. Luckily you were there to escort your group and you helped her to not fall, getting your bodies very close in the action.

"Oh, thank you so much, I didn't know my seniors had such a beautiful lady to assist them", she said, not hiding at all her flirty intentions. You tried to act cool, but your red cheeks betrayed you. Obviously the scene was observed by Seola and Bona, that rarely moved their looks from over you.

They didn't have the time to do anything about it because they had to perform. However the moment they finished their exhibition, they placed themselves next to you and didn't let you go for any reason.

It was your first time seeing them act that way: being cold and affectionate at the same time. You tried to help Soobin with the dress, but Seola took you away, grabbing your hand tightly. Then you were going to say goodbye to Yujin, but Bona dragged you in another room, because she needed help for something.

It was clear to you that they were hiding something, but you decided that it was not the moment to face that topic. So you let the event and the night end, and while saying goodbye to all the girls in their dorm, you asked to the two strange girl to come in your room later.

Ten minutes later they knocked on your door. They were wearing finally comfortable for the night and had a way more relaxed mood. "So, girls, I wanted go to talk to you about...", you didn't have the time to finish your sentence that Seola sat between your legs, putting an hand on your chest.

At the same time Bona instead got on the bed and hugged you from behind, starting to kiss your neck sweetly. Now you were so red in face. "Girls, I...", you tried again, but Seola interrupted you. "See? You didn't need Yujin to get embarassed", said the older girl. "And then, two is better than one", added Bona, without stopping to kiss your neck.

"You know, maybe we acted a bit foolish tonight, but that's because we don't want anyone to take you away", Seola continued. "You're precious to us. You're not only a co-worker or a friend, you make our heart beat faster", said Bona, gently grabbing your chin to make you look at her.

Her eyes were intense but honest, and you could say the same for the oldest girl. "We can't promise to be less jealous in the future, but we can promise you to make you feel special". "So, please don't be angry, just let us love you".

That night was for sure different. It was not the first time you spend the night together, sleeping with them was now part of the routine. However It was the first time in years that you went to sleep with a smile that big, genuinely happy, between the arms of the girls who finally confessed their love for you.

Date with Seola! (fluff/fem reader)

sorry i've been gone for so long! i'll try to write more in the future, life stuff got in the way plus i've missed writing so here's a quick seola one shot. please enjoy! ^^

It's now 1:00pm. You keep looking at either your watch or phone for the time despite you already knowing what time it is. You were nervous but excited at the same time. As you sit at your booth at the restaurant you start to look around and observe, not many people today. There are people scattered about the restaurant, you sit kind of far from the entrance but you can still see it from your seat. You wanted to sit away from the large tvs and music playing over head.

Suddenly you see her walk in, your friend Seola walk in. You two have been seeing each other for a while now, but you've developed feelings for her. You aren't sure if she likes you back though. You wave at her to catch her attention, she sees you and smiles as she walks towards your table and sits across from you. "Hi!" she says as she sits down and places her bag next to her.

"Hi!...I uh went ahead and ordered your drink for you. Do you like iced tea?" You ask already knowing the answer but you wanted to make conversation. Seola looks at you brightly. "Oh that's fine! Thank you! Did you already order the food? I'm starving. Eunseo and Sinb had me shopping all morning!" She says as she looks over the menu. "Oh I didn't order yet, I thought I'd wait for you first." You say kind of quietly, still a bit nervous. She looks at you, slightly concerned. "You didn't have to do that!" You look back at her, your eyes meet. "But, I wanted too..." Before Seola gets a word out the drinks arrive.

After you both order your food and the waiter leaves you two start drinking your beverages. "So how was your day, Hyunjung?" You ask breaking the dead air. Seola stirs the ice in her drink before answering. "Oh, like I said...just Eunseo and Sinb dragging me to shop with them. It was okay for the most part but I was more excited to see you. I love your company." She looks up at you from her drink, you feel yourself blushing. "y/n!! you're red! how cute" Seola says as she starts laughing.

"Stooop!" You cover your cheeks as you laugh along. "So cute." Seola chuckles. "Well, the feeling is the same. I also enjoy your company...amongst other things." You say in a flirty way trying to get Seola to blush too and it worked! "Hyunjung! now you're blushing!" You say laughing at your success. "Am I??" She says now covering /her/ cheeks. "You're good y/n." Seola smirks. You and Seola finally get your food. After 2 hours you two finish eating. Most of it was talking and laughing. You feel as if Seola's heart has opened up to you. Like there's a possibility that Seola may like you back. "Oh my god I'm so full!" Seola says as she takes a sip of her drink. "No room for dessert?" You playfully ask. Seola laughs a little. "Oh no way...I honestly could use a nap." She says as she reaches for her bag. The waiter arrives with the check. You get your wallet to pay for everything. As you wait for the waiter to bring back your credit card you and Seola start talking again.

"y/n I had a great time with you. Thank you for inviting me! Today was perfect." She shows the signature smile that makes you fall in love with her all over again. "Of course! I love spending time with you. You are always the best part of my day." Your words made Seola's eyes sparkle with love. The waiter returns with your card and thanks you for attending the restaurant. You take out 5 dollars in cash for the tip and puts it on the table for the waiter. You stand up and extends your hand for Seola. She takes it and stands up as well as adjusting her shirt. "It's been a long day, I bet your members are waiting for you." You say as you wait for Seola to ready herself to leave.

Seola pauses then looks into your eyes. "Actually...I was hoping we could go to your place and...take a nap together?" She asks nervously. This was everything you've could ever want. Maybe this was Seola's way of confirming your suspicions. "I really like you y/n and I want to spend more time with you." She continued. "Oh of course! Let's go!" You say excitedly, as Seola takes her bag and walks out the restaurant with you, the happiest she's ever been.

You let out a frustrated huff as you hear the sound of thunder and the sound of rain hitting the roof and windows. Minutes before, you were excited that it was finally time to close the coffee shop you worked at until you heard the rain.

That morning the sun shone brightly with no hint of rain which was why you didn’t bring an umbrella. But here you were, angrily cleaning up the counters as you realized you would have to walk in the pouring rain to catch the last bus. All you wanted to do was be home and in the arms of your girlfriend.

You were lost in your thoughts when you hear the door open. “Excuse me, we’re closed.” you call out, not bothering to turn around. But when you didn’t get a reply and instead hear foot steps walking towards you, you speak up again and finally turn around “Excuse me-“

“Jiyeon?!”

Jiyeon stifles a laugh at your shocked face. She smiles at you, making her way to you with an umbrella in hand. “I remembered how you didn’t bring an umbrella to work today.” She didn’t fail to notice how you immediately relaxed as you made your way to her.

“I just finished and was worried about walking in the rain.” you quietly say as you quickly grab your stuff. Jiyeon wraps her arm around you, smiling as she feels you relax in her arms.

“When I heard the thunder, I thought of you. I knew you almost never bring an umbrella with you anyways, so I took the opportunity to pick you up.” She explains as you make your way outside, holding tightly on to you, “Maybe i’ll get a kiss as a thank you?”

You couldn’t help but laugh at the faint blush appearing on her cheeks as you look over at her. You both stop to look at each other, ignoring the fact it was still raining. You gently kiss her lips, softly saying, “My hero.”

Hands on her face as she sighed out, she chuckled to herself as she realized what Eunseo had informed her. “The water dispenser broke down?” She repeated, her expression almost scaring the grey haired girl that was leaning on her studio’s doorframe. “Yeah, uh, one of the janitor’s said it broke this morning.”

Kim Seola could feel her sanity slowly fading as the minutes ticked by. How could the water dispenser break at such a bad time.

“Uh here why don’t I bring you to that one coffee shop Soobin and I passed by the other day,” Eunseo suggested. To be honest, she was more concerned about what Seola could do to her seeing as her coffee seemed like a life and death situation. “It’s fine, I’ll just go home.” Seola mumbled out, her face now back on the palms of her hands. “No, come on, get yourself up. You look like you haven’t eaten anything.” The grey haired girl pushed as she walked towards her friend and turned her chair around.

There were crumpled up pieces of paper on the floor, various pens and pencils and tons of post its everywhere. Eunseo helped the girl clean the room up, reading a few of the things that were on the post its and chuckling as she realized they were unfinished lyric ideas. “You’ve been struggling, huh.” She joked as she threw the last piece of paper in the bin.

“I’ve been writing since last week and the only thing I’ve got is a half finished song, please I think I should just quit.” Seola replied. Of course, these were just jokes. She could never quit her job, and even if she quit writing songs and producing professionally, she could never not write. It made her happy, no matter how stressful the process was.

“Mhmm, then let’s get going our genuis song writer, you have been lucky enough to be treated out for dinner by the infamous Son Eunseo.”

The walk to the cafe was short, stepping out of the company building, they took a turn to another road and kept on walking until they saw a well lit building, it’s name in an icy white as it contrasted well behind the metallic grey color of the cafe. It was modern themed from the inside out.

“What do you wanna eat?” Eunseo asked as she set her bag down on her chair and stood up. “Uh, anything really. I just want an iced americano.” The girl replied back, her eyes looking around at the people that were in the room. As Eunseo walked towards the front desk to order, the black haired girl slipped her laptop out and placed it on the table. Turning the device on, she sighed out. She only had a couple of weeks left until she needed to present her work in a meeting with her company. Along with the song she was working on, she had to revise a few blue prints for a music set she was an assistant director for. She definitely underestimated the work she had to complete when it was first suggested to her.

“Mhmm.” She hummed out, reading the lyrics she had written down from the morning. Her fingers typed slowly, her mind playing with her surroundings, creating an imaginary music video in her head. As she did so, she slowly could picture what she wanted to write about. “I ordered you a sandwich and got us a cake. The worker said it was their best seller.” Eunseo informed the girl as she sat down on her seat and placed a pager down in front of her. Seola nodded at this and thanked the girl. The grey haired girl muttered out a small “no problem” before she pulled her phone out and started scrolling through her social media. This was refreshing, Seola needed this.

13 minutes after they had ordered, the pager lit up and started vibrating. As Eunseo was in the bathroom doing her business, Seola took the device and stood up from her seat. She quickly stretched her back before walking towards the cafe’s counter to receive their order. The black haired girl cleared her throat as she stopped for a few seconds to stand a good distance between the person who was struggling not to spill their order in front of the coffee bar. She waited patiently and smiled at the young customer as their eyes met before they turned around to walk to their own table.

“Hello, here’s your order.” The barista told the girl, her voice loud enough to subdue the noises in the background. Seola’s breath hitched in her throat. For a second or two she couldn’t feel her senses. There was an angel in front of her.

“Ma’am?” The barista called out to the girl. Y/n was confused, her first thought suggesting that the customer couldn’t hear her, so she called for them again. “Here’s your order, uhh, is there anything else you wanted?”

But Seola was star struck. She was glued to the ground, her face still plastered a shocked expression as she stared at the barista in front of her. Thank the universe everybody else was in their own little worlds as they drank their coffees, if they had all turned their heads, they would’ve seen a drama scene taking place at 10 in the evening in Cosmic Cafe.

How romantic was it, the way the pager was beeping and vibrating felt like Seola had ripped her heart out for the girl in front of her. But as perfect as it sounded, she was brought back to reality by Eunseo. “I’m so sorry about her, I think she was just looking through the menu. I told her to get us another drink before I went to the bathroom, so uh can we add a mango shake with this.” The grey haired girl ranted out completely embarrassed. Y/n nodded at her, still confused, but took her order nonetheless. “I’ll just bring it to you once it’s done.” She informed the two as she gave Eunseo a table number to hold on to. The now stressed out girl thanked her and gave the worker a tight lipped smile. “No worries.”

“What the fuck was that, Kim Seola!” Eunseo yelled through a whisper as they finally sat down with their order. “I-” “Do you know how stupid you looked! The only thing left to master your little pervert act was drool dripping down from your mouth!” The girl scolded. Both of their faces were a tomato red at this point.

“Hey, I’m no pervert...” The song writer pouted out. “You looked like one, you dummy.”

As the two ate their meals, Seola couldn’t shake off the feeling that she was being watched. She knew it was from the barista she had practically made uncomfortable a couple of minutes ago. “You couldn’t have made it more obvious.” Eunseo sighed out, her eyes on her friend. “Huh?” The black haired girl asked taken aback.

“She is pretty.” And as if on cue, Y/n was at a short distance from their table. Who was she to lie, the barista was beautiful. Quiet but determined, you could see she was a veteran at this place. She stood at an average height, strands of hair would dance on her face as she moved, she held this warm smile on her face at all times, anybody could fall from the first talk.

"Here's your mango shake, is there anything else I could get you?" Y/n asked as she placed the tray down softly on the table and took the mango shake off it. "No that's al-" "Your number." Seola suddenly blurted out. Eunseo's eyes almost popped out her face, she could feel her face warming up. What the actual fuck, Kim Seola.

The grey haired girl glared at her friend, giving her a look to tell her to stop whatever else she was going to say. "She's joking." She butted in, trying to fix the now tense and awkward atmosphere. The duo laughed out loud, obviously embarrassed. But this caused Y/n to laugh as well. Seola swore she could see the heaven’s gates open up for her.

There was a red tint on Y/n's face as she walked away to continue with her work. ‘How cute’ she thought, giggling softly as she replayed how the black haired girl apologized to her.

“Ya, I think I’ve fallen in love.”

For the next few days it felt like Seola was on a roll. She had finished the track she was working on, she had completed her tasks as an assistant director for that one music video she was assigned to, she’s even created a setlist for the amount of songs she’s managed to finish. This was all thanks to Y/n, the barista who made her fall in love from first sight. The black haired girl couldn’t help but take more looks and more inspiration from the worker, so she spent some of her hours from the past 3 weeks just sat on a table at Cosmic’s. There, she would order anything Y/n would recommend, and as she consumed her order, it seemed like more ideas would pop in her head. She had nobody else to thank but Y/n, well maybe Eunseo, but it was best not to bother the singer since she was still mad about the whole mango shake incident.

So there she was, back at Cosmic cafe.

She was even more nervous this time than previous times she’d gone there. ‘11:11‘ her watch read, there was only a few minutes left until the cafe had to close. “Hey, I know we had a very awkward first meet, but I wanted to ask for your number- no no. Uhhh, hi, my name is Kim Seola, I was wondering if I could get your number,” She smiled, looking at the imaginary version of Y/n she had created in front of her. “Fuck.”

The more Seola rehearsed her words, the more nervous she got. It was no help either that she was slowly losing time.

“- you actually inspired me to finish a song I had to present to a big company, thanks to you I got a lot of compliments and they said they’d buy it from me... what am I doing.” The girl huffed out stressed. She had 10 minutes left until she was going to get told to exit the cafe, and there she was, still rehearsing what she wanted to say. Her leg couldn’t help but bounce as she took deep breaths in to calm herself down. “How can I even show her the song if I can't even talk to her like this.” She thought, her determination slowly depleting.

Good thing Y/n had heard her little practice scenes perfectly. The whole time Seola was focused on the imaginary version of the barista in front of her, Y/n was behind the girl, cleaning the tables up from previous customers. The moment Seola started rambling to the air, she had been listening intently and giggling to herself.

As this went on until the last 4 minutes before closing time, Y/n had cleaned all the tables up and gone back to her station. There, she had prepared a slice of cake- the same one Seola had been ordering since she first recommended it to her. She gently placed the slice inside a small carton box and wrote her number on one of the flaps. She could feel her heartbeat in her ears, how could she not have fallen for the song writer as well.

In the same time frame, Seola had gained back enough courage to bring herself to her feet and walk towards where she saw Y/n was. She fumbled with the sleeves of her blazer, her hands subconsciously fixing her clothes as well as her hair. "Oh h-hi." Y/n stuttered out surprised. "H-hey." Seola managed to spit out. There was a second of silence before the two chuckled at each other with pink on their cheeks. "Uh did you want anything? I could take your order still." The girl asked, her hands slowly pushing the cake box behind the register where Seola couldn't see it.

"Ah no, I actually uh wanted to ask you something," The black haired girl trailed off. They were both shaking as they conversed, knowing what was about to come, Y/n couldn't help but push it a bit longer. She wasn't ready just yet.

"I mean, I get to leave in about 10 minutes, if you don't mind y'know waiting..." "Oh yeah sure, no problem! I'll just wait outside."

It was beautiful outside Cosmic. The breeze was chilly, there was a trail of a coffee scent in the air from the cafe, and stars plastered themselves on the dark night sky. “It’s now or never, Kim Seola.” The black haired girl told herself.

"Sorry to keep you waiting." Y/n apologized as she finally stepped out of Cosmic. "It's no problem, don't worry." Seola chuckled out at her. As Y/n fixed her jacket and the things in her bag, Seola took a breath in and licked her lips.

"Look, I know this is gonna sound weird, I mean I'm just a customer y'know so I'd get why you would think that. And ah gosh, when we first met I literally stood there in front of you just staring, I'm really sorry I know you felt uncomfortable which is why you probably feel bad and that's the reason why you've been so nice to me and stuff. I'm not trying to be weird either for eating at the cafe like 5 times a week or something, I really just wanted to see you and I think it's so cute that you recommend me different things when I enter every time and-" "Seola, I like you."

"W-what?" The song writer choked out in shock. "I like you too, Seola." Y/n repeated, her fingers fumbling with the zipper of her jacket.

The two girls stood there in silence, the only noise in the air from the cars passing by and the strangers that were walking to get home.

"I- How'd you know I liked you?" She spoke, Y/n’s previous words still not hitting her. "I heard you when you were doing your little rehearsal thing." The barista answered, now feeling shy. Somehow confessing to her made her feel like she was in the wrong.

"I-I'm so sorry about that." Kim Seola mumbled out embarrassed. How could she turn herself in. But it was cute. Y/n thought what was slowly unveiling in front of her was cute. It was only now that she had realized how scared the girl actually was to confess to her. "It's fine, please. I wouldn't have suggested to meet out with you if it wasn't." She assured the woman, giving her a warm smile. Seola looked up at the girl, a grin slowly making its way to her face. She couldn’t help it, she had now absolutely fallen for Y/n.

"Ah shit, I need to leave now, I've got a bus to catch." The barista felt bad as she had to break their little romantic display so soon. She shuffled on her feet and quickly gave Seola the cake box she had in her hand. "Oh okay sure, be careful!" The song writer bid as she took the gift confused. "Thank you, Seola-ssi." Y/n exclaimed flattered. She flashed Seola one last tender smile, before waving her hand. "W-wait! I never got your number!"

"Don't worry, I gave it to you!" Y/n yelled back at her, cracking up at the way they were communicating. She gazed back at Seola for a second before giggling at herself and running away.

There was a puzzled look on Kim Seola’s face as she watched Y/n’s figure slowly turn into nothing. Thinking about it again, she had an epiphany. “You’re too smart, Y/n.” Seola praised as she opened the box the barista had given her. The musician couldn’t help but laugh. Her heart was full.

— people say she's one of the prettiest 3rd gen idols, she's often praised by her beauty and how effortlessly pretty she is. that's also one of the main reasons she's called eternal nari and maknae noona, she's had the same face ever since their debut. she doesn't age in people's eyes.
