IT'S JUST SO...!! savior's wardrobe scrubbed clean of her original culture and preferences#replaced with the foreign garments of her captor's nations.....in line with this. i love how her kokoshnik and khaenri'ahn earrings are big#and attention-grabbing. you can't look at her without taking note of those accessories. it begs the question:: how many times has savior#looked at the mirror after being dressed up in snezhnaya and was unable to recognize her own reflection?? :'>#also shoutout to some details aine shared with me: 1) the face marks are inspired by weeping angels 2) the kokoshnik was traditionally worn#by married noblewomen BUT the veil was normally for unmarried women so savior's outfit can be seen as a form of compliance + rebellion#(though later on in history it became accepted for married women to also wear that veil. also my apologies if what i said is inaccurate)#lastly shoutout to savior's expression!! very poised and mysterious....due to her emotional state or pierro's rules on how to act as his#spouse in public?? we'll never know~ the first drawing hits even harder when you compare it to the next one!! such an interesting contrast~#savior in her plain attire. casual and domestic with a smile on her face....i'm guessing this is her pre-fatui version?? she looks so warm#and friendly. and i can definitely understand why pierro fell for her smile <3#also i fucking love the caption. sorry pierro but you are cursed to be a loser/ simp/ pathetic man in all of my fics and AUs xD#NOW ONTO GODDESS! SAVIOR AAAHHHH!! i love the greek goddess motifs. she looks so regal and awe-inspiring but in a different way from her#snezhnayan attire--archaic. divine. and more suited to her personal style.....yet both versions of her look so painfully isolated :'>#her blank eyes. emotionless face. and veil give me the vibes of a spooky victorian ghost...or would a statue/ portrait be more fitting??#the lack of a necklace is also an interesting design choice given what happens in the fic. and now i realized i forgot to comment on your#version of her snezhnayan necklace oops. similar to the kokoshnik and earrings. the size + grandeur makes it impossible to ignore#that and big jewels = expensive af. ohhh and i love the sparkles on her veil!! pierro rlly spared no expense in dressing up his wifey <3#it's also funny how all of these outfits are similar to my own version in terms of 'savior wore grand clothing during her glory days as a#goddess -> wore simple attire after her decline for practicality and to blend in with humans/ disassociate from her old identity -> is now#dressed in even grander clothing as the harbinger's spouse. but it's used to reinforce her new identity and pierro's control over her'#tldr:: your design is so creative and i can see the effort you put in analyzing her character and depicting her based on your interpretatio#thank you for being my mutual + reader and i hope we can share even more harbinger/darling brainrot in the future :>

#seabirds.txt#seabirds.art#mystery twins#gemeos do misterio#q!bagi#q!cellbit#qsmp#i did research 1920s era clothing for this but i based a lot of it off of their mc skins.#cellbit is a sailor turned vampire who ended up in europe during wwi after fighting naval battles at sea and never came home#bagi becomes a journalist to find him and stumbles across vampires along the way not realizing he had become a vampire too#design notes: this all started off of bagi's newsboy cap which was popular in the 1920s with working men. i put her in men's pants because#wanted to give this energy of working a job traditionally not worked by women at the time. <- women started campaigning to work as#journalists notably around the late 1800s and early 1900s (at least in the us and some european countries (couldnt find info on brazil))#i was thinking of nellie bly when thinking of what bagi would be doing in this au! she also has a bandana to hide her neck where her vampir#bite would be and a hanky for blood clean up. perhaps something from home. cellbit is not concerned with hiding his own neck. he's just#wearing a dress shirt LOL. i feel like cellbit would be fully embracing his vampiric tendencies at this point and a part of more vampire#society than human while for bagi it would be the other way around (she's still looking for him in the human world using vampire resources)#that is why he is so bloodstained. i feel like in his free time he would be freelancing detective work for other vampires maybe to gather u#favors or something similar. he's a little bit fancy because of this but still casual enough that there's no suit involved.

might burst into tears at work idk
#i feel so miserable#my boss sent me a long email getting me in trouble for wearing the school uniform sweatshirt that the students wear#apparently when i wear it it means i'm being disrespectful and casual and misrepresenting the school#and i talked to my coworkers about it and they all agree it's ridiculous but there's nothing we can do about it#because our boss is a very particular boomer who makes his opinions law and also can't stand when women stand up to him#i wanted to email him back and push back on it but my coworkers said basically to let it go because it's no use and it'll iust piss him off#but i hate breaking rules. i wouldn't have worn it if i'd known it was a rule#so i feel like a fucking idiot and i'm also mad because it's a stupid rule and i hate the way my boss bullies me#but i don't know what to do. i like my job and i love my kids but i hate my boss#i just want to cry#and the thing is every coworker i talk to agree that he's a miserable old boomer who hates women#but they always excuse him? or just give up and lay down and die? i want to push back on the bastard#and at least let him know that one person (someone he doesn't value: a young woman) is not going to back down to him#i don't know. i'm so upset. i don't know what to do#and it feels stupid to be so upset but this is just the most recent in a long line of bs i've dealt with from him#so i'm just. miserable :)

thinking about how now after it became socially acceptable and enough time passed most woman on the street now wears pants and not skirts/dresses most of the time. even though i'm sure a lot of men think women look better in skirts/dresses and it was supposedly natural for them for women to wear those clothes. but it's so much more functional and comfortable to wear pants for so many activities.
thinking about how long it'll take until it's the same with makeup and most women you meet aren't wearing it most of the time. because i wear makeup regularly so i know that it's so much more functional and comfortable and time saving to go without makeup for so many activities. do you get what i'm saying. whether i'm wearing pants or a skirt people more or less treat me the same. when i'm wearing makeup people ARE nicer. people will ask what's wrong on the days that i'm not wearing any. even if you WANT to wear makeup for yourself the same way you'd decide to put on a skirt that day for yourself,, it's not the same. bc it's Expected for women's faces to look Like That (made up).
