First, drama - @iamskyereads' series Compulsion was an INCREDIBLE READ. The worldbuilding! The pacing! The characterisation! Beatrice as absolute legend of a lead character! The perfect evocation of Ezra without falling into the pit of turning him into a sort of verbose Foghorn Leghorn!

Ugh, it's so good. Go read.

Second, romance, real and warm and like a gigantic hug - @farawayfromwanting / @agentjackdaniels' Curls is a story that gives a loving, happy ending to a man who I sometimes feel is done dirty in fanfiction, Dieter Bravo. But this isn't 'just' fluff or romance: this is a story about loneliness, found family, making the life you always wanted for yourself (even if unexpectedly), and being able to move past trauma and heartbreak through love in multiple forms. I still can't see Andrew Scott without thinking of Nate, Dieter's agent...
