your mother always taught you that lying was a sin, but was lying so bad if it meant preserving something that could make you happy? you'd thought long and hard about whether you should finally tell your group of friends that you were in a relationship with one of them — all this to end up telling you that keeping your love story a secret for the time being was the best solution.

you and woonhak tried hard to keep a low profile, slipping away from time to time, each time finding a new hiding place to spend a little moment just the two of you. but sometimes, the temptation to glue each other was too strong — and fortunately, it seemed totally natural to your friends' eyes.

after a long week of classes, your tradition was to spend the night at sungho's house, eating anything and everything while playing silly games with quality background music specially chosen by the one and only han dongmin. so here you are, in sungho's living room, sipping your peach iced tea while watching jaehyun fight dongmin over the best marvel superhero.

« i'm telling you captain america is the best ! » he suddenly swung a cushion at the black-haired boy's face. and after that, taesan retorted, trying to convince jaehyun that iron man was actually better than captain america. « but he's dead ! » jaehyun shouted, which amused the rest of the people in the room, including you. but your attention was drawn to a certain young boy, climbing the stairs, who gave you a look and a smile you couldn't resist.

« i'm going to the bathroom, i'll be right back. » you say to the boys, before throwing off your blanket and making your way discreetly upstairs.

looking around you, tiptoeing on your toes, your body was suddenly dragged into a room, which almost made you cry out in surprise. but your eyes soon found the beaming face of your boyfriend, who had taken you prisoner in his arms.

« i could have hit you. » you said softly, pinching his rib, which drew a little laugh from his lips. « i know you wouldn't have done it. » he said in return, in a whisper, before placing a kiss on your cheek.

it was this kind of moment that you cherished the most, a relaxing, soothing atmosphere that made you feel safe and warmed your heart. and this kind of cocoon, you only had it with woonhak. certainly, you were still young, just discovering what love is — but you already knew that your heart had a soft spot for him.

camouflaging your tiny body against the warmth of his, woonhak stroked up and down your spine, simply enjoying your presence. « we're going to get caught if we stay here much longer, » you whispered, gently straightening up to rub the tip of your nose against his cheek, « we should go back downstairs. »

the young boy nodded, but didn't miss the opportunity to place a little kiss on your cheek, which made your heart beat faster. you didn't even have time to retort, he was already out of the room, running to join the other boys in the living room. tapping your cheeks to keep from grinning like an idiot, you followed his lead as you joined them again, without noticing the suspicious looks juggling the youngest and yourself.

later that evening, jaehyun had the bright idea of playing a silly and childish game called : truth or dare. sitting next to woonhak, his hand naturally clinging to yours but camouflaged by your blanket, you rolled your eyes as you observed the dares given, each more idiotic than the last one. « you guys really are a great team of idiots.. » you sighed as you finished your pizza, instantly regretting your words when your gaze met dongmin's.

« y/n, you talk a lot but don't play much. » you saw it, the machiavellian look in his eyes, and the mischievous smile on his lips just afterwards, the black-haired boy undoubtedly had an idea in mind, « so, truth or dare? »

in both cases, you knew you would regret your decision. but in both cases, you were obliged to play. so, glancing slightly at your (secret) boyfriend, who was urging you to answer, you sighed, finally declaring : « truth. »

taesan seemed satisfied with your answer, and glanced at jaehyun who nodded briskly, with a smile so big it could take up the whole of his face. « are you and woonhak in a relationship? » he asked so boldly that you might have fallen off your chair if you'd been sitting on one.

you were trapped, and your round, big eyes must have betrayed your answer. you seemed speechless, unsure if it was the right time to finally confess to all your friends that, yes, you were in a relationship with woonhak. but before you can say anything, leehan, who had slipped in behind you unawares, pulled the blanket from over your hands and revealed to everyone what was hidden underneath : your fingers entwined with each other.

« you can no longer deny it. » commented riwoo, who found the scene unfolding in front of him particularly amusing. and when you finally give in, nodding positively and sighing, thunderous applause and shouts of euphoria echoed through the room, « yes. we're together. woonhak is my boyfriend. »

observing the reactions of the boys one by one, who all seemed very happy to finally know the truth, you insisted that he was YOUR boyfriend while throwing lasers with your eyes at jaehyun, who had just thrown himself at the younger boy, already starting to tease him about your relationship. woonhak's hand unhooked from yours in a desperate attempt to get rid of the big puppy that was crushing him right now, giving sungho the opportunity to approach you, a smile far too glorious to be natural.

suddenly pushing him away and crossing your arms against your chest, you prevented a laugh from escaping your lips, wanting to continue sulking. « you're not mad? » you asked in a small voice, glancing at your friend out of the corner of your eye. for his part, sungho shrugged, shaking his head negatively, « not at all. if you hadn't told us, you must have had a reason to do so. » — you loved that he was so understanding, and you thanked him inwardly for not reacting immaturely and reproaching both of you for your silence. but something wasn't quite right : how could they all have known?

« how long have you known about this? » you finally asked, as he ruffled your hair in a comforting gesture. the eldest of the group sat down beside you, patting your shoulder as you watch the youngsters making a mess a little further on, « dongmin has been having doubts for a while, » he explained, before pinching your cheek, « but next time remember to lock the door when you hide somewhere in my house. »

with a falsely shocked expression and round eyes, you nodded and laughed. in the end, sharing your secret with your closest friends wasn't such a bad idea.

after hearing this new plan that Jiwoo created, you changed out of your oversized plain, white t-shirt, into the hoodie that Woonhak left with you. it looked a bit bigger on you than Woonhak but he liked to say that it looked better on you than it did him. you quickly told Jaehyun that Woonhak was coming over because he needed help for the upcoming math test, which technically was the truth, but it wasn’t exactly what you had planned. Woonhak rung the doorbell, ring ring ring, though you weren’t scared to face Woonhak, you felt like you needed to make him wait for just a second. on the second round of rings, you pulled the door open. “hi Woonhak!” you exclaimed, showing him a toothy smile. though, you didn’t get an answer. you tilted your head in confusion, why wasn’t he answering, did you do something wrong, did he not like that you made him wait? “i- uh- sorry, hi…” “what’s wrong?…” you honestly were a little bit concerned. “oh- uh, nothing… is that my… my hoodie?” he stammered, it was relieving to know that Woonhak wasn’t answering only because you were wearing his hoodie. “oh, yeah! it is, did you want it back..?” “oh, no, you can keep it! you know i say it looks better on you anyway” he said, stepping into your shared apartment. “so, what parts do you need help on?” you asked. “hmm, maybe calculus, i kinda forgot all about it…” “okay sure!” as you helped explain the process, you noticed Woonhak wasn’t focused on the textbook, instead his eyes were stuck on your face. “Woonhak? are you focusing?…” you asked, waving your hand in front of his face. he shook his head, getting out of his daze, quickly apologizing. “oh, sorry Y/n, i was a bit uh, distracted.” he said, rubbing the nape of his neck. “are you okay? ever since you came over, it looks like you’ve been… thinking about something?” “Y/n, i need to tell you something, honestly.” oh how you hoped so badly how it would be a confession. “what’s up?” you had to keep your cool, and keep your prayers that he would confess in your head. “i really, really, really, like you. honestly, ever since we bumped into each other. my heart feels so heavy, seeing you smile, cuddling with you, hugging you, holding your hands, without being able to say you're mine.” you couldn’t find the power to use your words, so instead of answering, you pulled him in, kissing him on the lips, his hands reached your waist, holding on to them softly. you weren’t sure how long you two had been kissing for, to be honest, you weren’t sure if it was a dream, for that matter. until… Jaehyun barged in, interrupting you and Woonhak. “AH-” Jaehyun shouted, slamming the door closed, scurrying outside, though, a second later, opening the door again to peek again. “phew, you guys aren't kissing this time. but WHAT WAS THAT.”

when he realizes he's fallen in love with you, sanghyeok tends to be more distant with you, but simply out of sheer shyness. but he'll still do his best to get your attention in subtle ways : he delivers flowers at your house with a little card and a hand-written poem, he tries to send you signals on social networks, hoping that miraculously you'll understand that he's talking to you.. he's a discreet admirer whom you've noticed and whom you like to panic by getting a little too close to him, just to see his cheeks redden because of your smile.

he was already clingy, but when he realizes he's developed feelings for you, oh boi, jaehyun is even more clingy. nevertheless, there are some changes that you can easily notice : the tips of his ears get redder when you flirt with him, he's always trying to hold your hand in his, even when you're doing nothing but sitting close to each other, he always tries to get your attention and gets sulky when you talk to other boys.. he's so down for you, he can't help reminding you that he exists all the time.

⭒ han taesan

to have spent so much time by your side, getting to know you and finding out more about you, dongmin realized that his heart was beating faster than normal when his eyes met your smile. he'll become more shy, without giving you radio silence. but let's just say that he laughs more easily at your jokes, that he observes you smiling like an idiot more often, and most of all, he'll share more of his favorite music with you. (he's probably trying to convey his feelings through the lyrics, but you're too blind to see it.)

to say that donghyun has had a crush on you since first sight would not be a lie — of course, his feelings built up gradually, but you were already running through his mind every day since you met. he's quite calm, and has no trouble keeping his feelings to himself, but he tends to look you in the eye in a different way now. more warmly, more tenderly, with a hint of shyness in his eyes. and he has to admit that your smile makes his heart skip a beat.

woonhak is totally vocal about the fact that he loves you. he don't care about other people opinions, he just wants to make sure you know he likes you. so every day, he brings you a carton of his favorite chocolate milk, leaving a note on it, reminding you that he likes you — again. or he'll probably just show up when you least expect it, standing in front of you with the most dazzling smile, and you have to admit that hearing him say those words in person makes you all shy and smiley. even if you need time to make a decision, woonhak remains patient and does everything to keep your full attention on him.

being a big caffeine fan, you absolutely had to try out the new café that had just opened near your home. dragging your friends along on your outing, you found yourselves a good seat while leafing through the many specialities on offer here. it was a chilly day, so a hot cup of coffee was in order — coffee sifted with chocolate powder and a hint of vanilla caramel was probably the best possible choice. once you've made your decisions, you're in charge of placing the order at the counter : but you were so eager to taste it that you weren't looking where you were going. and you didn't see the pretty boy approach you with his coffee in hand, which ended up on his white t-shirt. while making big eyes and uttering a cry of distress that drew the attention of all consumers, you quickly grabbed some napkins to clean up the mess you'd made, apologizing a billion times under the young man's amused gaze. « it's okay, don't worry. i have a bunch of other white shirts! » he was amused but you were embarrassed, so to make it up to him, you bought him a new coffee, which he decided to have at your table — with you.

at the behest of your mother, who insisted on regular physical activity, you took the initiative and enrolled in dance classes. swimming and long jumping weren't for you — so you figured that moving your body to good music, probably wasn't so bad after all. shuffling your feet into the room, tossing your backpack into the corner, you sat down on the parquet floor and waited for the dance teacher to come. others students, seemingly more at ease than you, were already present filled the room with whispers and sideways glances that made you feel left out. just as you were about to grab your things and run out the door, you were stopped in the doorway by a boy much too cute to be real. « oh.. first day right? » nodding at his words and feeling slightly embarrassed, you were surprised to feel his hand slip warmly over your shoulder, « i'm your teacher, but you can call me donghyuk. i'm going to do everything i can to make you comfortable, okay? » — and of course, you couldn't resist.

it was getting dark, and late night walks were probably your favorite thing to do after a long day. well.. especially when you don't have to lug your little brother around like you do today. but since you had no choice, you might as well go along with it. during your walk, you came across a soccer pitch where some youngsters were playing together, illuminated by the few street lamps that surrounded it. your brother kindly asked if he could join them, and even though you were rather reluctant in the first place, you let him, seeing the huge smile on his lips. sitting down on the bench next to you, you were surprised to see one of the young guys approach you and chat quite naturally — he was pretty cute in his oversized sweatshirt and his black and pink beanie. as one of his friends called him back, he walky away from you, flashing you his huge pretty smile and shouting that his name was myung jaehyun.

your birthday had just come and gone, and you'd finally received the present you'd been longing for : a record player. but to use a record player, you needed a few essentials : vinyl records. according to one of your friends, there was a very good store selling some not far from where you live, so you rushed over there. you were pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a young boy who seemed to know a thing or two about music — or so you thought as you listened to him advise another customer while you browsed the many choices. when he'd finished, he approached you with a smile, gently asking if you needed any information. after explaining the situation, you saw him rummaging through the many cds and handing you one : (what's the story) morning glory? by oasis. « you should listen to this album, it's my recommendation. and happy late birthday, it's on the house. » — and you could be sure to come back here soon.

kim leehan ⭒ at the aquarium

nobody wanted to go with you, but you didn't know why. was it because you liked to spend hours doing nothing but watching fish swim in their gigantic aquarium? probably. but it wasn't your fault if they were so fascinating. so, without worrying about being alone, you made your way to this large building after school, wandering through the many aisles filled with little fish, each one as beautiful as the next. but you were so hypnotized by so many beautiful things, you forgot to look where you were going — leading you to bump into someone a little taller than you, who seemed just as fascinated as you. his eyes left the sharks for a few seconds to settle on your face, giving you a warm smile to which you responded, staying at his side to admire these impressive mammals. you'd probably just met the friend who would become your aquarium sidekick.

you didn't want to be late, but the whole world seemed to be against you. first your alarm clock didn't go off, then the rice cooker breaks down, and if that wasn't enough, you discovered that the tire on your bike was flat. your last option : run to the bus stop and hope you don't miss it. and of course you saw the bus leaving from the top of the hill. letting out a long desperate sigh, you dropped onto the bench while trying to catch your breath, not immediately noticing the boy sitting next to you. until he handed you a bottle of water, flashing a cute smile that made you lose track of time. « drink this, you look exhausted. oh and, i'm woonhak, by the way! », you suppose you've just made a new friend at the bus stop.

one of autumn's must-do activities is pumpkin carving. and since sungho can't refuse you anything, he instantly said yes when you offered to take part in a sculpture workshop at the end of the day. armed with quality tools and cool aprons featuring cute little ghosts, you now both listen carefully to the instructor's instructions on how to make the most of your future masterpieces. but it's a little more complicated than expected.. which prompts your boyfriend to give you a hand and carefully carve your pumpkin before his. and, of course, he won't stop cutting until he sees the satisfied smile creep across your colorful lips. this activity was actually less strenuous than he had expected.

one of the special things about autumn is that it's also the season for your favorite celebration : halloween. and how to start the season without a marathon of scary movies? sanghyeok don't really mind watching 3 or 4 movies in a row with you. he loves the cosy little space you've created in his living room, the pillows on the floor, your back pressed against his chest and the many warm plaids covering you both. although he seems more preoccupied with observing every reaction on your face than following the development of the film, his hand nonchalantly caressing your side is a reassuring touch that prevents you from being afraid of evil screamers.

coffee dates aren't just an autumn custom, but when this time of year offers you the opportunity to discover new flavors, a tour of the coffee shops is a must. and what better way to do it than to take jaehyun with you? the poor boy doesn't dare say anything to you, he just follows you, smiling, pulling by your hand through the streets of seoul in the late afternoon. the colors are pretty, and the sunset watches over your skin. and after a long search, you finally found what you wanted : an iced pumpkin spice latte. you've been waiting for it since last year, and you couldn't wait to show it to your boyfriend. who, by the way, didn't have the heart to admit to you that he'd already drunk some — too busy finding you adorable with that overexcited look and those stars in your eyes.

a colder wind, light rain in the air, a slightly overcast sky... there's no doubt that autumn has arrived. it's time to bring out the sweaters and booties. summer is now over, and of course — you're colder than under the sun. especially your hands. as a good boyfriend, dongmin never misses an opportunity to take you home after class, and he soon notices that you're trying your best to warm your poor fingers. without saying a word, the boy grabs one of your hands, intertwining his fingers with yours before slipping them both into his jacket pocket, keeping them both nice and warm.

something you've always loved about autumn, are the pretty colors that decorate the trees. long walks in the afternoon are great for leaf peeping — the reds, oranges and yellows that grace the city's streets. donghyun likes to follow you on your walks, watching your face light up with every new color. but the best is yet to come : piles of leaves on the roadside, which gardeners have stubbornly collected, seem to call on both of you to jump in. which you did, of course, with a burst of laughter that rocked the wind. and the poor workers don't dare blame you, because your good mood seems to be far too contagious.

kim woonhak ⭒ rain shower

there's something special about autumn rain – the feeling of raindrops on your skin is different. and it's something you love to share with woonhak, when you get out of class after a long day, and all the other students are rushing to avoid getting too wet. you stare at the grey sky for a moment before walking calmly hand in hand, huge smiles plastered on your faces, and your hearts beating in unison. no matter how wet or sick you get the next day, because running under the first autumnal rain shower is a precious moment you like to share with someone special in your heart.

when you two got back from going out, Woonhak decided to stay over at your place. he got out of the shower, wearing a hoodie that he quickly got from when he packed a small bag before heading to your place. a small towel hanging off the back of his neck, with his hand drying his hair. you were laying flat on your back, scrolling mindlessly on your phone. your focus averted to Woonhak as you saw him climbing onto the bed, and he laid next to you. it wasn’t unusual for him to sit or lay next to him but what made you fix your attention onto Woonhak was that he was snuggled up into your arm. he linked his arm around yours, and laid his face softly on your forearm, as well as wrapping his leg around your lower body. he realized your gaze on him, making him look up to face you. “i’m cold…” he said, tightening the grip his legs had around you. “i didn’t say anything…” “you looked uncomfortable though…” “it’s comfy, Woon” you said, brushing some stray pieces of hair out of his face, making him blush. he pushed off of your arms and laid his head on your chest, now, wrapping his arms around your waist instead of your arm. you massaged his hair, brushing through it. you two fell asleep, with Woonhak cradled in your arms and your hand, tangled in his hair.

it was the end of last period when Woonhak snuck behind you, and hugged you from behind. You whipped your head around to see his face, smiling cutely. it took you a while to realize the distance between your faces. he dropped his hands from your waist to back up from you, rubbing the back of his neck, smiling sheepishly with a pink glow, growing on his cheeks. “hi Woonhak! what’s up?” you said with a smile. “oh, i just saw you when i came out of class so i just came over, i wanted to remind you about the tutoring later too! ooh, also, are you gonna just go straight to the library? or are you going back, then coming back to the library? sorry, i was rambling…” he apologized, avoiding your eyes in embarrassment. “awh, Woonhak.. it’s okay, it’s cute!” you reached for his hands, holding them in yours (even though his hands were much bigger than yours) “but uh, i’m probably gonna just stay at the library ‘cause Jaehyun’s going back at 6:30. if you want, we can just hang out and stuff!” you suggested. “oh sure! do you wanna go to the library then?” “sure!” you two walked to the library, hand in hand, even sitting at the small sofa together, Woonhak, resting his head on your shoulder.
