As promised, you showed up on Rafayel's doorstep early on Friday. You rang the doorbell once, waiting for him to open. You stand there for a bit, thinking he might be occupied with something and unable to open. After a few moments, you decided to ring again, trying to perhaps grab his attention. You were about to give up after the third try when Rafayel opened his door. He doesn't appear to be ready for the day, let alone to have guests over. He's still in his pyjamas, his hair undone, his face not fully awake.
"Huh? What are you doing here?" Rafayel asks you, his voice filled with confusion. His not knowing what you're doing there made you question if you didn't mix up the dates. You check your phone to make sure today's Friday.
"You asked me to come by on Friday." You show him your phone so he can read today's date. "Today is Friday; I'm here just like you asked."
"Oh, I thought you'd be here in the afternoon or something." Rafayel scratches the back of his neck, his face getting slightly red. "Should've asked, sorry, come inside." He moves to the side so you can enter his house.
You take off your jacket and make your way deeper into Rafayel's home. The first thing you notice about the space is the lack of organisation in there. The first time you visited, you thought that Rafayel had some sort of system for where he placed his works. This time, however, the studio looked like a mad artist had run through it with a bucket of paint and some paper. You can only assume that it was the sudden inspiration that pushed Rafayel into such measures.
"Sorry that the studio is a mess; I was planning on cleaning it up later." Rafayel tries to explain himself, frantically picking up brushes and pieces of paper from one of the tables in the room.
"It's fine, really." You place the bag with your laptop on a random chair and help clean what you assume to be your workspace. "You should've seen my office at the height of my creativity. This? This is nothing."
"Alright. So here's the plan: you focus on writing. You can write anything, truly. It doesn't have to do anything with the book as long as you write. And as for me, I'll be drawing or something." Rafayel shrugs his shoulders.
After the table was cleared of unnecessary items, you began to set up your work area. You tried to make it as similar to the one in your home as possible. After all of your time as a writer, you knew how you liked your workspace. You remember Caleb making fun of you after you rearranged objects on your desk after he messed around with them. Once you're done and satisfied with your new setup, you look over to see what Rafayel is doing. Just to find out that he's looking directly at you, sitting in front of an empty canvas. He looks like he was waiting for you to be done so both of you can start working at the same time.
"Are you ready?" He asks you. You nod your head, turning on your laptop, a part of you glad he's not commenting on your little organisation habit.
You dread turning on your writing software. Every fibre of your body hopes and prays that it won't turn on or the whole laptop crashes. Nothing of the sort happens, and the app opens just fine. You decide against working on the book just yet and instead open a new file and follow Rafayel's suggestion to just write anything.
Your fingers hover over the keyboard, waiting for your mind to come up with something. That something never comes. You keep your fingers on the keyboard for a little bit longer in case you come up with a word or a sentence to start with. Your brain is empty; not a single thought worth writing down comes. You're not sure how much time passes when you finally decide to give up, covering your face in your hands. You let out a loud sigh, catching Rafayel's attention.
"Is everything alright?" You move your hands away from your face and look at Rafayel. You don't respond for a while, simply looking at him with empty eyes.
"Yeah, it's just much harder than I thought." You respond, your voice not much louder than a whisper; if it weren't for the silence in the room, Rafayel's sure he wouldn't be able to hear it. "It's like my brain refuses to come up with a singular fucking sentence."
"Don't stress yourself too much with it." Rafayel attempts to reassure you, hoping his words would provide comfort for you. "You probably just need time." You know that Rafayel just wants to reassure you, but you're too frustrated with yourself to really notice. Or care.
"I think I wasted enough time waiting around for something to happen." Your voice comes out harsher than you planned; you didn't want Rafayel to think you're mad at him. You couldn't be mad at him; he just wanted to help you.
You were mad at yourself. Mad for wasting everyone's time. Mad that after writing a few successful stories, you couldn't come up with a stupid sentence. Mad that you allowed someone else to help you for it to not work out.
You close your laptop with great force, not caring about possibly damaging it. You throw all the things that you put on your table back into your bag. Once the table is cleaner from all of your things, you stand up.
"Listen, Rafayel, I appreciate the effort, but it's not working." You try to sound sincere without showing how upset you really are. "I'm leaving." You move to the front door, grabbing your jacket. You hear Rafayel's footsteps behind you.
"(Name), wait—" Rafayel doesn't get to finish his sentence before you're out, the door shutting behind you.
You walk fast, not wanting Rafayel to go after you. After you think you're at a safe distance from the studio, you slow down, letting out a breath you didn't know you were holding. You walk slowly, trying to calm yourself down. You continue to walk at a steady pace until you make it to the station. There you take out your phone, noticing a few notifications.

I saw your WIP of Dear Your Holiness, and I am wondering how are you doing your speech-text bubbles? How do you make it look like texts? Is it a software? I am trying to typeset Did you miss me? - Fantismal&Krethes, and let me tell you, that is 80% text-bubbles. And I don't think what i've got going on now is very efficient. Right now i am editing the .css and .html directly in Calibre.

I really love your ask cause text bubbles are really a pain in the ass and I love babble about my typessets. So I warn you, this answer may be a bit longer than expected. 
The short is: Existing 200k ways to do chat text on writer and more 200k to do on typessets.
Editing the .css and .html directly is my first time seeing it, but I guess it works very well too, just maybe too much time consuming. In general, the most common is pre-setting a paragraph on the software you use to design your project. Most of the softwares for writers can do this. So you can select the dialog, click a button and voilá all your dialogs will look the same and your typesset will be really beautiful really fast.
Affinity and Adobe InDesign I know better, but I know Word does this too, just don't know how. Find one to learn and have joy :)))
My personal response is more like: How do you want your project to look? 
So I think the most important thing to me here is not where to do it, or how to do it fast, but how to do exactly what we want it and what we can do to make this happen. And here lives my lack of sanity. 
It really depends on the project. I have done some fic with chats and none of them I did exactly the same way. But for my Dear Your Holiness project, I want this look of a mobile chat but without remembering any social media chat we know and I want make it fancy

So I try to emulate some things we see on these social media chats and with a bit of compulsory search I discover some things really helpful.
First of all, the typography choice
I'm a little biased here, I love typography. But it is exactly because of this that I notice that chat typography is simple. They need we read fast but without notice, so we don't have serifs, that remember us of academic texts, and the contrast are really light
I had this other typesser of Wish You Are Here by @afieryfox, and she uses Discord and Twitter to set her fic, in this case I choose the exact fonts that each platform uses to set my typesset (and setting a paragraph for each site). But in the main text I use some simple serifed font, to help the reading.

The same to DYH, I chose a serif font with some fancy look to the body and a saint serif font to the text, but I chose one with some alike things to do not look too drastic.
I chose to set the main text in OldStyle because it has this vintage look., and the chats on Made infinit (this one I ask permission for personal use). They pretty similar except for the g, so i think work very well

The second was the contrast.

We had this constant that is the color of the chats, where who sends the text is the most eye-catching bubble, and the right one. So I just set this with the pov one being our dramatic bubble. In this case, our Padfoot

And the last thing, our guides and spaces!!
We are not on a mobile, so we have pretty much space and this is a problem, because chat texts are compacts and a book… not exactly. So what i did was divide the space I had to rearrange our text so we can feel like the space was purposeful
I divide my workspace in 3, and each side of the chat could only transpose ⅔. then they has their own section and don’t steal the friend's space.

this is not extremely strict, the text can transpass the line till I feel like is acceptable. So, if the text is too long and insist on cross the guide, i can shift then and make these big balloons

How I did my Dear Your Holiness chat bubbles?
I did all the typesset first.
I use Adobe Indesign to do my typessets, so I set up all the text blocks, with all the typos to set my pre-sert paragraphs. All my paragraphs are pre-settings cause I like my life easy when I can have it, cause the rest of the process is really time-consuming.

So set all the pre-set paragraphs and the dialogues exactly the way I want it. Till look something like this

So I take a simple print from the naked page and go to Adobe Illustrator, were I put the the cute little outfit (the bubble)
There I have a board setting on my page size to use the correct scale on the bubbles, I just scale the print on the board and fit the bubbles on the dialogues.

The bubbles are actually little rectangles with rounded corners. We can easily do the call tail (still don't know how call this thing) just push one off the corners staring, but I really wanted this sexy toothpaste curve, so I make this little shape and overlapped my bubble.

To put the bubbles over the print, i set the opacity on 80% or less just to confirm the guides and the * I left to mark the ones that will be big balloons. So I correct the opacity, remove the print and save as a pdf

the pdf I put above my text, and change the color of Sirius’s chat, because we can’t read black on black and voíla, -1 page to do.

Now all we need is repeat till end all dialogues bubbles left in the fic.

After some time this became a really mechanical thing, so listen to something in that maintime that the time flies. So yes, a pain in the ass as i said, but look how pretty they turn!!!!

Well, this is me asking! I read Linda Swindling book 'Ask Outrageously' (of which I have an autographed copy), and one of my key take-aways is to ask above my comfort level. Well, I'm certainly not comfortable asking for $1,000 (for some reason I conspicuously left out of the video) but here I am asking for a stack! How will I use the money?
I need to file my LLC. This should be obvious, but I don't want to operate under the radar and I need to have insurance, but I can't get that unless I'm official.
I need my Part 107 drone license. In order to fly commercially, I need this certification otherwise I will face stiff fines.
Although I do need the following, I feel these are things I can get once I start bringing in revenue.
I need to purchase some core equipment that I plan to use in all my packages. There some things that are better to rent due the cost and in-frequent use, but there are some things like a full-frame mirrorless camera that are better to own.
Overhead. I need to pay for certain subscriptions such as Quickbooks, Google Workspace, Wix, Web Domain, and other software that helps integrate everything together.
It's kind of a catch-22 whereas I need the gear to produce the videos, but I need the cash to buy the equipment, but can only get cash from producing videos.

Today, I spent time polishing my knowledge (ExpoGo, Android Studio, React Native), focusing on refining the basics and getting more comfortable with the React Native framework. I also started to setup the workspace for our project, the "Digitized Log Book System for Small-scale Market Owners." VSCode will be our main coding environment, and I’ve started to configure it to suit our needs. Earlier, I also went through the asynchronous lessons shared by Sir Carl via Google Drive. It is about Software Engineering's codes and ethics, definition, tools, and SDLC. Every day brings new challenges, but also new learning opportunities. I’m eager to keep pushing forward!

Mark is also an interesting personality and it is interesting to see the workspace of Mark Zuckerberg.
From the early days of Facebook, Mark has been comfortable with a small setup with a monitor or laptop with a mouse or some paper around him. You can clearly see he only uses a laptop and it allows him to work from anywhere.
