It is being a long long trip! But we finally reached the end of our honeymoon trip! Students from Northern Michigan University are completing awesome internships!

Daniel Kase is an international studies and German studies student from Rockford, Mich. He is teaching English as a second language to students in Tainan, Taiwan this summer through the World Passport program.

“NMU has given me opportunities to learn about different areas of the world and to learn about other languages and cultures,” Daniel said. “I have had many opportunities to act as a leader and to practice cross-cultural communication and cooperation while at NMU.”

Even with his double major, Daniel said he finds his degrees to provide a lot of flexibility.

“I am able to choose classes that fit my own interests,” Daniel said. “I feel as though I am able to take my own approach to my education rather than just take a bunch of predetermined courses.”
