HOW TO GROW YOUR SMALL BUSINESS. 🤠
1. Entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart. It takes grit, determination, and a willingness to fail over and over again before you finally succeed.
2. Your customers are the lifeblood of your business. Without them, you have nothing. So, always make sure you're delivering value and exceeding their expectations.
3. Don't try to be everything to everyone. Instead, focus on your niche and become the go-to expert in that area.
4. Hiring the right people is critical to the success of your business. Look for individuals who share your values and have the skills and experience you need to take your business to the next level.
5. Invest in your own education and development. The more you learn, the more you'll be able to grow your business.
6. Keep an eye on your finances. Always have a solid understanding of your cash flow and expenses, and be prepared to make adjustments as needed.
7. Marketing is key to growing your business. Make sure you have a solid marketing plan in place and that you're tracking your results so you can make informed decisions about where to invest your resources.
8. Never stop innovating. Always be on the lookout for ways to improve your products and services, and stay ahead of the competition.
9. Building a successful business takes time, patience, and hard work. Don't give up when things get tough. Keep pushing forward, and you'll eventually achieve the success you're looking for.
10. Remember that your business exists to serve your customers, not the other way around. Keep their needs and desires at the forefront of everything you do, and you'll be well on your way to building a thriving business.

The more I travel, the more it opens my mind and my heart to everything and everyone around me
There is a precious gift in moving through the world and all of its unfamiliar and wonderful ways
It is a gift of perception, a gift of your inner world changing as the outside world shifts around you
Your perception of what you know based on the experiences you’ve had from within your home country changes…
It shifts to a deeper understanding of humanity and the wildness of the earth, an understanding that roots deeply within your heart and dissolves judgement on the ways of life that go against your own beliefs.
Compassion makes a home in your heart for all life, all across the earth, everywhere you go.
When you move between such different worlds you realise how connected it all is, how connected WE are to the natural world, how culture is a way of life so unfamiliar to our own ways but so essential in preserving the rituals and survival of communities across the world and in the keeping of life continuing to thrive.
In my experience, every time I have chosen to travel, life presents me with the opportunity to expand in ways I never expected to, and gifts me beautiful experiences that change my life forever.

The Empty Nest
Shaina Tranquilino
August 12, 2024
Amanda and Morgan Dawson stood in their quiet, sunlit kitchen, the absence of clattering dishes and morning chaos strangely serene. Their youngest, Sarah, had just left for college, leaving them truly alone for the first time in over two decades. The silence was both a comfort and a reminder that their roles as parents had shifted. They were no longer needed to drive to soccer games or help with math homework. It was just the two of them now, with the world wide open before them.
"Remember when we used to talk about traveling the world?" Morgan asked, sipping his coffee and glancing at Amanda. The idea seemed distant, a dream from another lifetime.
Amanda smiled, her eyes sparkling with a sense of adventure she hadn’t felt in years. "Maybe it's time we actually do it."
That evening, they dusted off the old globe that had sat in the corner of their study for as long as they could remember. Spinning it, they laughed like children, making promises to visit the places where it stopped.
Within a month, they had rented out their house, bought a pair of sturdy backpacks, and booked a one-way ticket to Paris. The children, initially surprised, encouraged them with enthusiasm, eager to see their parents embark on this long-awaited journey.
Paris was a whirlwind of art and history, the cobblestone streets a canvas of inspiration. Amanda, who had once dabbled in painting before the demands of motherhood took over, found herself drawn to the city’s many art studios. She spent hours painting in Montmartre, capturing the essence of Parisian life on canvas. Morgan, on the other hand, discovered a love for photography, something he’d never explored before. He spent his days wandering the city, capturing Amanda’s paintings, the delicate arches of bridges, and the golden glow of sunset on the Seine.
As they moved from city to city, they found themselves rediscovering each other. In Italy, they took cooking classes, learning to make pasta from scratch, laughing as flour covered their clothes. In Spain, they danced under the stars, their feet moving to rhythms they never knew existed. In Japan, they found peace in the quiet beauty of the temples, meditating together and finding a new sense of harmony in their relationship.
With each new country, they discovered more about themselves and each other. They were no longer just parents; they were travelers, artists, lovers, and partners in adventure. Their marriage, once defined by the demands of raising children, blossomed into something deeper and more fulfilling.
Months turned into years as they continued their journey, the world becoming their playground. They hiked through the rainforests of Costa Rica, sailed along the Croatian coast, and camped under the Northern Lights in Norway. Each experience added a new layer to their relationship, strengthening the bond they had always shared.
One evening, as they sat on a beach in Bali, watching the sun dip below the horizon, Amanda turned to Morgan. "Do you think we'll ever settle down again?"
Morgan smiled, taking her hand in his. "Maybe. But I like where we are right now. We've found something that’s just ours, something that’s been waiting for us all along."
Amanda nodded, resting her head on his shoulder. "I do too."
And so, they continued their journey, discovering new hobbies, new places, and most importantly, a new love for each other that would carry them through whatever adventures lay ahead. The world was vast, and they had all the time to explore it together.

Ulun Danu Beratan Temple is both a famous picturesque landmark and a significant temple complex on the western side of Beratan Lake in Bedugul, central Bali. The whole Bedugul area is a popular upland weekend and holiday retreat for locals from the more urban areas in the island's south. Ulun Danu Beratan, literally ‘the source temple of Lake Beratan’, shares the scenic qualities with Bali's sea temples of Uluwatu and Tanah Lot. The smooth reflective surface of the lake surrounding most of the temple’s base creates a unique floating impression. The misty Bedugul mountain range surrounding the lake complements the temple's scenic backdrop.

🗣 Always try
"I know that if I fail, I will not regret it. The only thing you should regret is not even trying.” - Jeff Bezos.
➡️ Mistakes may not lead to the intended goal, but you will gain invaluable experience that can be converted into your success.
➡️ Therefore, do not be afraid to take on something new, always try to do more than necessary.
Experience is exactly the thing that compensates for any mistake.
