so viren made a blood pact with aaravos that created/summoned the aarapod. since claudia and soren are viren's (presumably biological) children, do you think they could use the aarapod too?

That’s actually a really cool thing to think about. I think it hinges on a few things myself, the first of which being if the blood pact is required for ‘Aarapod’ (AKA Wormavos) to function? By which I mean, we see it ‘talking’ physically and it does need to be on or in -shudders- Viren’s ear for him to hear it, so if he plopped it on Soren or Claudia’s ear (and Aaravos played ball) would they be able to as well or would they just hear some wormy squeaking? 

Personally I doubt Aaravos would comply and would totally use the opportunity to mess with Viren regardless, so its a bit of a moot point imo, but if it was based on the blood-pact aspect and it was down to that, I could really see it going either way. It really depends on the rules and structure of the magic afoot, ie. if it is just simply taken as a genetic marker/ link then Soren or Claudia are technically around 50% Viren in that regard and might be able to rock his sweet new shiny wurmple accessory.

 That said, with how TDP seems to like showcasing ‘blood magic’ (Or you know, squishy organ/ body part magic) as a sort of manipulation of a creature’s essence, the blood pact between Viren and Aaravos might be considered a bit more intimate in that regard, especially since it was a link that both of them input their being into and thus might not be transferable at all. 

Really it all depends on how you look at it, but its a really cool thing to consider either way! Thanks for the question!
