Imps and trolls mingle in a tree village, where job opportunities are posted below the tavern (Dragon 104, December 1985). Dave Trampier's Wormy strips included a number of full-page panels detailing fantastic magical spaces that feel real and lived-in, in which characters go about their daily business, interrupted by the actions of the story. There is a cinematic feel that makes me wish for a Ghibli Wormy film, with scenes lingering on characters simply existing in their environment.

Marauders

> Peter Pettigrew < This guy was fun to draw. I feel like, as a fandom, we have erased his existence a bit. And trust me, I get it. He was a horrible person in the end. But! At school, he was a Marauder, so I didn't want him to just be an afterthought when drawing their friend group. I read in a fanfic once that he was in the chess club and I liked that idea a lot! So I drew a jumper with a little chess patch for it. I thought it might be a cute detail. So, here's Wormy :)

I think Mary and Peter count time by songs Like while waking they count how far they are from a sepcific place or how much time they would take to get there by counting songs.

Is more practical for them, tangible.

They are more practical learners need references for stuff, tangible ones.

Dragon 29, September 1979, features another abstract organic cover painting by Dale Carlson, this one resembling a humanoid rooted to the floor with arms branching upwards like -- an ent in a deep forest with a full moon in the distance? A cave column coming to life? Carlson's only other Dragon cover was a similar rooty dragon on issue 19 the previous year, receiving no credit in either issue. Here the mood is broken by the imp from Wormy popping up in the corner.
