hey okay so i might be dumb or smart

i was writing a fic and it was my first time writing Robutler, and i almost forgot that all the robots float. I thought,"Oh, the robots must be able to float with Kinesium.

then it hit me.

If Zoraxis's plans to defeat the agency was to blow up kinesium to destroy all of the implants-or just the agents themselves-,

then wouldn't that destroy the robots as well?

Hell, even in Cold Shoulder, the robots didn't get destroyed until the kinesium explosion!

I want to say Prism had to be aware of this, but she seems to care about the robots too much to sacrifice them. and in Cold Shoulder, she seems to turn on Zor due to her robot's destruction.

Maybe Dr.Zor planned on Getting rid of Prism like they did Juniper, except for much earlier in the plan. What do you guys think?

Ramblings about Orchestra Tower characters since I'm tired and don't feel like drawing (I've been drawing a LOT...)

Fake Peppino is surprisingly intelligent, and has excellent long term memory. (However sometimes, Phil treats him like he has only one braincell)

Vigert's peepaw (John E. Cheese) is still alive (and well)

Phil is very nonchalant. Like, if he views you less than him, he does not care about you, and if he views you as an equal, he respects you (only a LITTLE bit though).

Theodore does not have his own program (NTV). Instead, he only works in the movie side of things. Sometimes he's the director, other times (aka 99% of the time) he is an actor.

Theo also does not use The Noise persona, so he only allows you to call him by his last name for formal stuff (business and such).

Peppino is WAAAAY younger in this AU (I believe he's in his 40s in OG Pizza Tower, and here he's only in his 20s) which is why he still has all of his hair.

Gustavo actually rescued Brick from the streets here. Brick forever respects him for this reason and will only be fully loyal to him.

Although Nolan still has a similar job, the difference is in his personality! (OG Stick is greedy, whilst OT Stick is more giving both money-wise and time-wise.) That isn't to say that he doesn't like money much.

In this AU, Theodore and Hazelnut are just old friends from high school, rather than boyfriend/girlfriend

Fakie's white shirt is just part of his body, and when he shapeshifts into someone else, that white shirt becomes their clothing. The only exception is when he masquerades as Peppino; he still wears his own suit, just opened instead.

Fakie is physically incapable of speaking correctly, so when he wants to talk to someone, he makes new sentences from words he's heard other people say. He can only imitate it if he's heard someone say it, which can sometimes be tricky for him.

Hazel is ACTUALLY capable of cooking things that are edible! (In all seriousness though, she doesn't experiment with her food. She doesn't have a café, but she can bake really well. I'm not saying OG Noisette is bad at cooking, I'm just saying she experiments too much, which doesn't help her a lot..)

Peppino is reeeaaally good at hiding his emotion. If he sees something terrifying, he'll only show he's scared if it's extremely scary. As for love...

Theodore isn't a prankster (wowzers!). He's a bit more serious but capable of turning an awkward situation into an easy-going one! If no one is starting a conversation, Theo will do it, which usually breaks the ice.

Fakie's hat, suit, and bow tie aren't part of him. Furthermore, he never takes off his hat unless shape-shifting. I wonder why..?

A Chris Rodriguez rambling

I yap about Catholicism a little, and like I said two other times. This is just my experience! I am, once more, a silly black cat that is just talking about a connection I made. This is not a blanket statement on all Hispanic households, though you all probably understand that.

Hi, I’m back. And this is a thought I’ve been having.. since I read Titan’s curse really. After my thoughts circled back to Chris, it also came to Mary.

If anyone doesn’t know or wants a refresher. Mary is the person Chris calls out to while he’s in the whole madness state due to the labyrinth. I’d like to propose what my interpretation was when I first read it/what my interpretation still is whenever I re-read it.

I always thought he was calling out to the Virgin Mary. So uh- that’s obviously just a bit random. But let me set up the brain thought process, I am Hispanic, and for the sake of set up there is this one show, La Rosa De Guadalupe, specifically the 2007 stuff because that’s what I know,

La Rosa De Guadalupe has heavy emphasis on the Virgin of Guadalupe (the Catholic title for the Virgin Mary I think), and the Virgin Mary is a very important figure, she was a mainstay in my childhood in relation to my Mom, and is an important figure in Catholism I believe. Which- is the most prevalent religion in Mexico. All that to say that religion and specifically the Virgin Mary are very important figures that even in non-religious households are still held in high regard from my experiences (in my anecdotal evidence; this is just my interpretation and not a blanket statement on all Mexican/generally of Latin American descent households.)

I wouldn’t say it’s a far stretch for Chris (who’s said Hispanic I think?) to still have some ties to Catholism? In some way or form. And those factors always led me to believe that when he’s calling out for Mary, it’s always the Virgin Mary. What Chris knows, what’s ingrained in his brain from childhood other than Greek Gods, calling out for a miracle or to be saved.

Just my silly little head thoughts. But wowzers never thought I’d be talking about like- religion on here! Uh, yeah. Like I said this is all anecdotal from my experiences, and just my ideas as to what this mystery’s answer may be :] but that’s my funny haha headcanon. Also if you want a good laugh go find some episodes of La Rosa De Guadalupe’s 2007 run, I remember it mostly for how wild some of the episodes were but it’s all good fun.

You and Jay just got finished binge watching a drama and he gets up to fetch a snack. as you see him innocently grabbing chips from the pantry, not paying attention and looking extra vulnerable , you get an idea. you walk up behind him and suddenly grab him from behind. “hey babe” he laughs with a smug face. you are bewildered since he is usually very jumpy.

“WHAT! how’d you not get scared???” he smiles. “why would I be scared of my favorite person?” you both laugh and you look at him. oh wow. oh wowzers did he look hot. messy hair, a t shirt that smelled like him and sweatpants. he notices the staring out of the corner of his eye and walks to the couch, sitting down and patting his lap. “c’mere baby” he says while smiling at you. you walk back to your boyfriend, straddling him while smiling.

“you’re so pretty.” jay whispers and grabs your jaw, pulling you in for a kiss. after 10 minutes of making out he tugs on your shirt, signaling he wants it off. you look at him with a mischievous smile and get off of the couch, standing up. “hmm..i’m sleepy.” you walk out of the room and into your bed room. “goodnight jay!” he just sits there. disappointed. laughing at himself for getting so riled up for nothing. “night y/n”

you and jake had been laying on your bed on your phones for the past hour, sending each other stuff every once in a while and laughing. he suddenly realizes you guys haven’t really been talking and he puts his phone down, rolling over to you and smiling at you while resting his head on your tummy.

“hey darling” he says, sleepily. you giggle at him trying to flirt. “hey babe” you respond, putting your phone down. he scoots up near your chest and gives you a peck on the lips. this quickly leads to a makeout sesh, getting messier and more heated the longer it goes on. “jake, you wanna do something?” you say, pulling away from the kiss to look at him. he grins. “of course love” you playfully push him off of you and lay down, closing your eyes.

“perfect! let’s go to sleep.” his smile suddenly turns into a “are you serious my brother :/“ face and he just goes along with it. “o-oh uhm okay … goodnight” you try to suppress your laughter but fail. “HEY! you’re mean y/n” he says, turning over so his back is facing you. you laugh and climb on top of him, flipping him onto his back once again. let’s just say he got what he wanted after all 😁

hoon and you just got back from the movies, still rambling on about it while walking back into your apartment. “no but why did he do that like he totally could’ve taken the other route!” he looks and you and moves his arms frantically “THATS WHAT IM SAYING LIKE WHAT” both of you laugh and head to your room to lay down. “yknow I thought it was so sweet how he saved his girlfriend in that scene. you would never”

he looks at you, beginning to get mad but his expression softens. “what ..” you look at him thinking that you really hurt his feelings and start apologizing and hugging him immediately. “wait no I was just kidding it was a joke! i’m kidding you’re so sweet I love you” he smiles, although his head rests on your shoulder so you aren’t able to see him. “I love you too y/n” you notice the tone change in his voice and lean out of the hug.

“WAIT WHAT” he laughs. “i’m sorry, I kind of just wanted you to shut up” a clever idea comes into your head. “aww :(… why didn’t you make me shut up in a different way?” sunghoon quickly looks at you, thinking he was hearing things. no way you just said that. “w-what?” you look back at him grinning. “I said why didn’t you make me shut up in a different way?” his surprised face turns into a smirk, leaning over you while placing both of his hands by your head. “may I?” you turn to the side and lay down.

“no i’m going to sleep. night babe.” he gets off from ontop of you and lays back down beside you. “are you serious” you look at him and laugh. “who’s the fool now hm?” that was it. that was his snapping point. sunghoon gets ontop once again but this time pins your hands above your head, glaring at you. “once i’m done with you, you’re gonna look like the fucking fool.”

Just finished all of CxC and great fucking work, I just have a couple questions.

I understand that Car is calling Sister an egg in the last bit, but I don't fully understand what Sister's response means. Are they saying that they're not because the point is that their avatar is supposed to be everything they are not?

Really love Papimon, would you ever do more stuff with her? Also if you just want to ramble about her at all please do, she felt too human in her own way to ever survive cxc but i was sad to see her go so soon.

Finally, I know you said you had initial ideas for this wayyy before any of the current events depicted. Is there a version of cxc somewhere where Graham has to explain that Trump is running for office? Or that has similar kinds of stuff

You should be proud of your writing, genuinely. Thank you for doing it.

Thank you so much for the kinds words. Let me try and answer these questions best I can (Spoilers for CxC if anyone else is reading):

1. Sister is refuting group identity in favor of personal identity, similar to Fletch and Mimmy, and also similar to characters like Clownmuffle if you've read Chicago. In particular, Sister is stating that by being so unpleasant, being so prone to distasteful behavior from her slurs to her sockpuppetry to her general thirst for brutality, no group will ever try to co-opt her. Mimmy, for instance, desired to be an "idol" who stood above everyone else, but was constantly being rolled into a broader discussion about LGBTQ+ representation in media, and after her death was, as Gramme notes, no longer Mimmy Wowzers but merely "trans creator" in news articles about her. Fletch, meanwhile, strove to study hard, stay out of trouble, and get a banal but cushy office job (similar to the one Harper has), but because of his skin color was the target of violence no amount of personal autonomy could evade. Sister is retreating from the world altogether to escape being assimilated into any kind of group, while rejecting any kind of concrete label about her gender/sexuality. This struggle between the individual and the group was a big focus of Chicago, and I've returned to it here in the context of CxC's greater interest in how people make meaning for themselves--or have meaning foisted upon them unwillingly.

2. That segues into Papimon, who also ties quite strongly into the theme of individual vs. group I just described. Like many of the supporting characters in CxC, Papimon is displaced from her home country and unable to return, and her story is a prelude or foreshadowing of the political nature the story will develop in the third act.

Papimon was one of the first characters I came up with for CxC, although to give context I'll explain that the initial idea for CxC was a lot different than what it became. Initially, CxC was conceived as a fairly minimalistic romance story, and the only characters were Harper, Gramme, Papimon, and Royce Ru, the last of which being positioned as Gramme's competitor in the will-they-or-won't-they style love plot. Royce would represent the company and an ordinary life, and Gramme would represent art and imagination, and so the romance element would have a corresponding thematic element. This is all pretty basic stuff for romance. Papimon was to be the wrench in the otherwise saccharine equation, and her death would be the turning point in Harper's considerations between Royce and Gramme. For most of CxC's long development, I planned for Papimon's death to occur in the exact midpoint of the story, the location of the climax in classical storytelling (now this position is filled by the Allison Apple roleplay). In fact, in the first draft of CxC, I still had her death in this location, even though the story had begun to trend away from being a traditional romance. As such, I had a lot more time for Papimon to simply exist in the story, and while I think the finalized three-part structure is far superior to my original structural designs, it particularly places a challenge on Papimon's character, as her entire presence is constrained to the first 12 chapters, many of which she is not even in.

Oddly enough, even though Papimon was one of the earliest characters conceived, a lot of what is distinct about her in the final draft was added very spontaneously while I was writing the final draft due to that late-in-the-game structural change necessitating major adjustments to her character. When Papimon tells Harper she made up the California surfer accent moments before she met Harper, that's true for me writing her as well; the earlier draft had no such affectation. Likewise, the first draft of CxC did not have the sex scene between Harper and Papimon, and there was no sexual or gender component to her character at all really; her frustrations were entirely isolated to her need to escape the dreary humdrum lifestyle of Los Alamos. In the earlier draft, she constantly talks about "going to Albuquerque," where there will surely be something to do; in the final Friday, Harper and Papimon attempt to make it to Albuquerque but Papimon's car breaks down and they spend the night instead in a generic side-of-the-road village that implies that Papimon will never be able to escape, setting the stage for her death.

Papimon so far has actually been the character who I've gotten the most feedback that readers don't understand what her deal is, so I'm glad that you really liked her. I think that if you want to understand Papimon, it's good to reread her scenes after having the context of the later two parts of the story; a lot of her character struggle presages those parts and makes more sense when seen through that lens.

3. As one might expect, CxC--a story I first got the idea for in 2014 or 2015--was not always set in 2020. My initial conception for Gramme's ending, even after I moved on from the traditional romance element and gave Gramme more of a story in his own right, was much different. In the earlier drafts, Sister was not in Gramme's mansion (she was a solely online character, like Cariscresco), and instead there was a third roommate. Near the end of the story, this third roommate would be stabbed to death by a homeless person and Gramme would leave the mansion with Fletch and Dogshit to track them down and get revenge, which would ultimately lead to a run-in with the police that ends poorly for everyone involved. As such the story was a lot less temporally focused and there weren't specific references to current events.

In 2013 I wrote a novel about the 1992 Rodney King riots and to write it I did assiduous research, watching hours upon hours of footage from the riots themselves, of the police brutality that sparked the riots, of the cultural context that led to the situation in Koreatown, and so on. Since then the topic has always been of significant interest to me. I realized that setting the story in 2020 and adjusting the ending would not only create a stronger finale but also help emphasize Harper's character via her temporal isolation and create the impression of the real world violently intruding into the world of the story.

Spencer was dressed as a star trek character. You were in a small crowd whilst listening to a person dressed up as gandolf. He was rambling on about how the 2nd lord of the rings movie was better than the 3rd. You were standing next to Spencer when he leaned over and whispered ‘This guys is nuts. When the evenings finally rolled around that consisted of movies or playing video games whilst cuddling on the sofa with as many sugary snacks as you thought possible. Spencer was scared that you would get a cavity from how much sugar you ate. Some nights you’d suffer in bed with your PTSD but your boyfriend’s hold helped guide you and make you feel safe again. ⭑ Are you named after anyone? mmMMMM I don’t think so-- Probably not? I think my dad wanted to name me after his mom or siblings or something, I don’t remember but we somehow got whatever my current name is. If I had to take a wild guess and I doubt this is even the case it’s Dovecore at its peak and I’m sure my fam have more brain cells than me but what if I’m named after a chocolate brand in my place. Hell yeah-

⭑ When was the last time you cried? LAST NIGHT BC I’M A BABY AND PANIC ATTACKS HATE ME SO MUCH SO KAJSHDGFHDJSK 

⭑ Do you have kids? If animals count as kids then ofc, a mother of 2 wild animals-- I hope to be a mother of 3 and you’ll see why later on. Okay but human kiddos? Nah, I don’t have em. ⭑ Scary movie or happy ending? Why not both? I don’t really watch a lot of movies and I’m beyond selective with spooky movies now (Not counting J-horror lemme watch all.) but,,,, It would be nice to see a happy ending in some spooky movies. It’s better than some endings that don’t really make sense? And if the happy ending is fitting and not out of nowhere. 

Okay, example time, I’m gonna ramble a bit about the Pet Sematary remake because I’ve been thinking about that movie again so “spoiler alert” for the main story heyo & death tw; As much as I wanted some sort of a good/happy ending I don’t think it would ‘fit’ it well with how the events played out. Your kid’s dead, you brought them back to life, and just. I wanted a good ending but after the wife comes back to see her kid “alive” again I think the chances of the fam being okay and happy is far from gone. The movie could’ve ending/gotten a good ending if they didn’t bring back their pet to life and if sad husband didn’t bring their kid to life but that defeats the whole point of the plot so. </3 Basically, if we got a happy ending for that movie, it would be completely out of place in my opinion. Also please read/watch the remake of Pet Sematary.

I’m the MASTER at rambling on and on about my special interests/hyperfixation(s) I don’t think anyone’s gonna understand how far I’ll go with this, and ofc making my bank account scream with my impulsivity-- Okay but aside from that, I guess I’m a decent artist. Do they have collars with scent blockers sewed inside of it? Is it promiscuous or inappropriate for an omega to ask a alpha to bite them so their pheromone will be more manageable? I got this ask while i was at work so im terribly sorry for the late reply!!! BUT you gave me a lot of things to consider so WOWZER HERE WE GO:

im so glad your brought up collaring bc that’s like my first thought and also bc i generally like collars a lot (if that haven’t been obvious). i have a thing about fashion being incorporated into the structured society and how what you wear and how you wear speaks more about you than anything (don’t get me started on bdsm ‘verse and how in there ppl wear their clothing a certain way to tell other about their sexual orientation/dynamic/relationship status etc) and i kinda WANT to say that omega wear collar commonly as an inhibitor but i think it’s only reserved mainly as a public mating symbol for omega like the way wedding rings are and/or protection. most omegas wear choker or some sort of neck brace protection around their neck so alpha can’t bite them and bond with them in any sort of way. collars are more serious thing omega wear when they’re fully bonded to to their mate. 

so to inhibit the pheromone use, it’s by injection (which can either be quarterly or yearly depend on the doses but the higher the dose the bigger the side effects are), inhibition patch on the body (which are monthly, you wear it once a month and it should last you all of that month, this is extremely common bc of how convenience it is and less costly), and there are inhibition pill which is similar to heat suppression pills but suppression pill are use to delay/stop heat among omega but inhibition pill make it so their pheromones aren’t blasting all over the place and dull their scent by a lot.(alphas and other can smell that they’re omega but omega can’t use their pheromones to ‘cripple/abuse’ it over alphas :X). AND THEN there’s the basic use an alpha’s bite to suppressed an omega’s pheromone which is consider by many to be too archaic and traditional in this ‘progressive’ society when the omega is so v young  :/ so it’s only when they’re older and they found a good partner and doesn’t want to rely on patches/injection/pills anymore and their partner will control their pheromones with the bites. izuku and katsuki participates in the last one as YOUNG AS THEY ARE bc they’re fucking wild that’s what lol. but nah really it’s just katsuki is stupid and kinda instinctual when he was younger (even when he was just a child, katsuki always knew izuku was his and CLAIMED HIM BEFORE ANYONE) and bit izuku’s neck and that ended started them on this path where there’s NO RETURN FOR EITHER OF THEM. 

in the olden days before technology caught up with society, it is v v v common for alpha’s to bite young omega (this is usually someone in the family, a friend’s of the family, their future betrothed, etc someone the omega know somehow) to suppressed their pheromones. bc omega are in the super minority, there are always alphas around to do it and it’s usually older alphas bc younger alphas supposedly dont have the control for it bc ‘biting’ isn’t a bond per say just a shallow impression on the skin that trigger a half bond that make the omega think THEY’RE in a bond (only when the teeth draw blood and the alpha-omega share blood b/t them that they’re consider truly bondmate)sand therefore they dont need to release pheromones to lure in potential future mate so they these bites are temporary and must be apply every few months! also, it is meant to be platonic and no sexual/romantic elements to it until the omega are mated off to their proper alpha but uh still pretty sleezy bc it older/young power dynamic so abuse potential was SUPER HIGH. eventually this method died out for more convenience/easier application like patches and injection.

is it actually not promiscuous or anyway scandalous for a young omega to asks for a bite if they chose to go that way! just mainly side eye bc of how archaic the method is since there ARE MORE EASIER WAYS TO DO THIS. and omega can have bites from one alpha or many in their lifetime if they chose to and it isnt look down mainly bc society pressure them to find their mate as much as possible bc the sooner they are mated the less likely they will leak pheromones and once an omega is bonded to an alpha that alpha built a resistance to their pheromones and therefore can control the omega better bc an omega is just any other person w/o their pheromones which is their most potent threat :P (it even the playing field b/t the two dynamic pretty much; bonding is the great ‘equalizer’ they like to say). so it it encourage that omega finds mate as soon as they are able to bc that help mitigate the pheromone use HUGELY and omega can start producing kids as quickly as possible bc it’s all about the kids!! so alpha-omega matchmaking is a booming business lol. 

but that doesn’t mean mating is taken lightly! mating is serious business bc betas and any betas coupling got their marriage but omega-alpha is all about mating and it has to do with scent compatibility. omega are disposed to be smelling good but their scent varies from alpha to alpha so if they smell good to you then you have a good match up and the most perfect scent to an alpha mean they have true compatibility. though that super rarely happens so most just settle for a good smelling alpha/omega with good breeding potential. for alpha, it is find that omega with high fertility and best smelling one (the stronger the scent the supposedly stronger the bloodline of quirk users to be) to carry that lineage so alpha would fight other alpha for the right to mate with an omega but it doesn’t mean an omega have no voice in this. actually in the past, an omega is bought/traded/and given away to ensure the best quirk users in the future but now these days it consider regressive for these modern times so omega are to consider their mating partners bc their children are their status symbol. the more powerful and accomplished your children are, the greater your omega status bc YOU AND YOU ALONE CARRIED THAT CHILD TO TERM AND LOOK WHAT YOU HAD HELPED PRODUCE. so omega look for alpha would great genes (smart, athletic, quirk power etc) and the best one will be their mate… it is VERY much like how female animals chose the male with the best genetic material to pass on to the children. so yea blood fight over omega is v v common among alpha (esp when the majority of the planet are quirk users) but omega have a voice in this and this is how they determine their future mate.

trying to hold on as life takes me through my ups and down.. better yet at some point i wish it could be me taking life through its ups and down.  Its like i see the bigger picture but in order to get there, there’s a never ending amount of mini pics all over, obstructing the view of the “bigger” picture. i could almost touch but then it just seems to just keep moving anytime im close. sexuality headcanon: tbh he doesn’t even know. brainwashed fabien is straight as heck, but the actual fabien? he’s actually not all that interested in women. also not totally interested in sex in general. he doesn’t dislike it or anything, and it definitely feels nice, but in the beginning, he was, in large part, doing it because that’s what everyone else was doing it. i mean, his first several times having sex, he wasn’t anywhere near sober either. he was drunk or high or both, and people suggested things and he just.........did them. for some of them, he was closer to sober than with others, but like........his sex life was mainly due to social obligation (maybe obligation is the wrong word idk) and anyone who looked at a list of all the people he’d had sex with, it would come off like he was bi or pan. and also part of him sleeping with women when he was younger was because of it being ingrained in his mind that he was supposed to be interested in women. that it was normal and healthy and what he was supposed to do. (this is all so jumbled and rambly wowzers.)

otp: honestly........bradley..........even if it’s not entirely healthy, and, well, they’re bros. but like. it’s the most intense interpersonal relationship he has, and bradley knows him better than anyone, and bradley is the only person he has ever broken down in front of. he trusts bradley in a way he doesn’t trust anyone else. as much as he tries to hide a lot of the bad stuff from bradley, because he wants to protect him - and all of his brothers - bradley still knows more about him than most. he knows about thierry’s abuse, he knows about his abusive ex, and after the whole situation with Balthazar, he probably would have been able to, eventually open up to bradley about what happened when he got kidnapped (because right now war is the only one that knows even part of that) had the whole rehab thing not happened.but david is a close second. and probably would have less of a fucked up relationship with him. they can relate on a lot of fronts, and sure, they’re both fucked up individuals who do a lot of drugs and drink a lot. but like....the thing they have is new for both of them, and it’s so important that they both have someone like that, even if it’s been put on hold because fabien’s all brainwashed.

brotp: david because tbh david is kind of his first actual friend? also bradley. also kind of war??? maybe not lately but like...war is the brother that he doesn’t always feel like he needs to protect. and yeah, he hates that he’s the kind of person that’s always like rawr, protect bros at all costs but it’s not like he’s doing it on purpose, and the universe kind of just......keeps giving him more reasons to feel like he should be protecting bradley. and.........idk. i had more thoughts but words are hard.

notp: part of me wants to say ariane, because had he not been brainwashed, he wouldn’t really have any interest in her. but the way he makes her feel right now, outside of the huge gross awfullness of the whole situation......like........With her, he feels loved. Feels like he deserves to be loved. Like he’s a good person, or has the potential to be a good person. He genuinely does feel happy right now, with her. Feels like he has a future that’s actually worth something. But like......it’s all a lie. It’s all fake. She doesn’t necessarily like him. She likes this version of him, the one that’s been molded to be what Josiah wants. What his father wants. And the whole situation is just so fucked up, and it’s doubtful he would come out of this and still feel the same way about her.

first headcanon that pops into my head: he still has the tiniest crush on Gavin. Like, it’s not really romantic, or sexual even. It’s just....Gavin was the first guy he was with, and sure, he wasn’t sweet and loving or anything, but he was respectful and attentive. And, sure, he fits his public persona in certain ways, and can be a bit of a stereotype, but he’s not totally awful. He’s a much better person than he ever would have expected, and Fabien is glad that Gavin was his first experience with a man. He wishes more of his experiences would have been like that.

I forgot about yume Nikki for a really long time until someone posted one of those “tag yourself” memes on Facebook with it and let me tell you reflecting on the last week it’s honestly scary how relatable it is for some reason??? I’ve been staying in my room for a majority of the time and from that mostly spending my time sleeping. I’m normally someone who “doesn’t dream” (I fall asleep and wake up without a memory of any dreams I may have had while asleep) but I’ve recently started dreaming again and...

I’m honestly so confused by the whole “good dream” vs “nightmare” thing, I haven’t had any “good dreams”, haven’t in years as far as i can remember, my dreams are usually at least a bit disturbing/unnerving, as Madotsuki’s are. They bizzare and sometimes terrifying. I’ve recently been waking up and spending a good part of the day just reflecting on how fucked up my dream was. I want to bring up my dream last night but idk it’s getting lost now besides for the really fucked up parts but I think the point I’m ignoring is despite how messed up my dreams can be I never really say “oh that was a nightmare”. Maybe I’m too used to them at this point. But to bring it back to the connection/relation, not all of Madotsuki’s dreams are inherently “bad”? It’s been a while so forgive me if I get this wrong but there’s a sort of snow world that you can choose from when she dreams and it’s actually pretty nice, but that’s also where the infamous Uboa can appear, which is a terrifying occurrence.

Sorry i feel like I’m more rambling at this point but my point is is that I feel like right now in my life I can really relate to and understand Madotsuki’s character though it’s pretty undefined and maybe that’s a problem considering the fact she’s a shut in who has disturbing dreams and kills herself in the end but it was a big “wowzers” when I realized this today...
